On On with Mario Lopez on Favorite Day of the.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Week, Mario Courtney Lopez back behind the mind for another
few hours of radio fun. Fired up to be hanging
with you and for a summer ween theme pop culture
pop Quiz a little later.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Plus we'll learn something new and Courtney's corner, dig into
the buzz, ask a random question, and squeeze in this
week's throwback soundtrack. So turn it up, e Robata and
let's get the fun started. You're around with Mario and
Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 4 (00:29):
Oh, Mario Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
So the other day on my show Access Daily, we
were talking about this new trend that apparently people who
snore are loving. Right now, I thought they were messing
with me, but apparently it's a thing. There's such a
thing for snores called mouth tape. And you basically take
this black piece of looks like masking tape and you
put it on your mouth and it looks like you're

(00:51):
about to get mugged or they're gonna hold you ransom
for something, and it forces you to breathe through your
nose and it obviously doesn't allow your mouth to open,
so the canal there doesn't allow the snoring to happen
and people say they love it. It doesn't affect them
at all. They don't snore.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
It's saving couples in the whole deal. So I want
to get you, bunch, honey. I want to get you.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
How did I know where this was going?

Speaker 5 (01:16):
Will you?

Speaker 4 (01:17):
You've been a little bit better, but when you're really tired,
it comes. What if it comes? But it's cute, but
just you know, the shoving and stuff. Are you down
to try the mouth tape?

Speaker 3 (01:25):
I would like to do it? Can I offer you this?
I'll do it at night to appease you. If we
do yours all day?

Speaker 4 (01:33):
What do you mean all day? I'll just keep it
on so you shut up. I'll see Okay.

Speaker 5 (01:37):
How are we going to pay the bills?

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Poor Mario Lopez.

to the music.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Hey, you're on with Mario and Corney Lopez. Listen bad news.
If you got a messy car, it could affect your
love life. Yeah. According to a new survey, nearly three
quarters of dating Americans believe the way someone takes care
of their car reflects how well they take care of themselves.
Most think a clean, well kept car suggests someone has
their life more put together. Half of singles admit to

(02:48):
judging others based on the way their car looks inside,
and one in four have actually cut a date short
because their dates car was messy. I mean the biggest
x are trash on the floor, lingering, bad odors well yeah,
loved over food or drinks, cigarette smells and crumbs in
the seat.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
Anything lingering is bad.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
I say, you know your house can get messy because
you're busy or whatnot, you don't have time to pick up.
But then you do pick up. Mike, I'm in my
car so much that I need it to be organized,
even with three kids.

Speaker 6 (03:24):
Yeah, and as as long as you just don't leave
stuff in your car, no, take it with you, so
as you get out, you're good.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
Every day.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Yes, just take it out and you're fine. When I
do see cars drive by that are I'm disgusted.

Speaker 6 (03:35):
Sometimes I see cars in LA drive by and there's
so much stuff in the car. It's like stacked on
the dashboard.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Yeah, it's gross.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
More Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
You're all marrow Courtney Lopez back to the music before
you know.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
But first, it's no secret we love dogs around here.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
We've got three phrases, got a few and obviously happen.
A dog can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also
tend to take over your life. New survey found that
the average dog parent makes twenty seven decision every month
based on their pet.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
Wait, what that's all?

Speaker 3 (04:03):
Yes, you would not know.

Speaker 5 (04:05):
Then there's another pet. The dogs. Every time I see.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Them orservet what food do they do? You know anything
about them?

Speaker 4 (04:13):
That's why that's why, right.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
So I have twenty seven times three because we have three.

Speaker 5 (04:17):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Then there's another category of pet parents called the dink wads,
which is you. Those are the people with double incum no.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
Kiddy, he's got kids.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
They basically consider their dogs to be their children and
spend over one hundred and twenty five a year on
dog toys and treats, and even more on personalized gear
for them, like engraved toys and monogram blankets.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
You're a Mario Lopez music rolls on, but thought this
was pretty interesting. If you're someoney, that's pretty wild. Nightmares
could be worth looking at whether you loading up on
cheese or dairy before you hit the pillow. New study
found that folks who have a tough time with dairy,
especially if you're lactose intolerant, also tend to have more intense,
sometimes downright creepy dreams. The issues messed with your sleep

(05:01):
and can stir it vivid, unsettling dreams. I haven't had
a vivid dream in a while. But you don't dream
a lot, right, I don't, But boy, when I do,
they're pretty intense. They make absolutely no sense, and it's
never really the beginning of a story. It's always like
in the middle of the action, like you're coming in
at the middle of the movie.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
Yeah, when everything's already, so you're kind of like lost already, Yes,
and there's something going on and you're trying to figure
it out. Yes, it's the craziest All.

Speaker 5 (05:29):
Mario Courtney Lopez. Little more music.

Speaker 4 (05:31):
Then we're going to get a life pack from my
wife Courtney.

Speaker 5 (05:33):
Any hint about what we're going to learn today, honey, Well.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
The hint is it's a quick way to cool yourself
down as the temperatures rise.

Speaker 5 (05:41):
That's important.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
All right, a few more songs.

Speaker 5 (05:42):
We're gonna come back with Cordo's Corner.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
All Mario Courtney Lopez making a quick stop into Cordo's
Corner for today's life back, which you got Quardo.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
I guess I have no choice but to embrace.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
You had Cordo's Corner and you have Cordo's court.

Speaker 5 (05:58):
The both just the people want it.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
Why can't it just be Quartz cort Quartz Core.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
That's true, that's true.

Speaker 5 (06:04):
But because you committed a Cordo.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
As you were okay, here I am. Well, here's a handy,
handy dandy trick that can help you quickly cool your
body when the heat gets to the best of you.
I do this when Mario walks near me because I
just start to get hot.

Speaker 5 (06:17):
Well, because I'm like a I'm like a furnace.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
Literally and figuratively. You'll hold down faster if you place
something cold to your pulse points. These pulse points are
your body's cooling spots, and they're a little like built
in air conditioners, you know. They include the major artery
in your neck, which is your juggler vein that's right
behind your knee. Yes, call me, doctor Cordo. And the

(06:40):
side of your head above your temples another one. And
the thumb side of your wrist is also a pressure point.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
Yes, put some ice cubes and all those places. It'll
cool you down real quick.

Speaker 4 (06:51):
And look at this. We just berthed a new segment,
Doctor Cordo. Doctor Cordo sounds like a spinoff.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
More Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 5 (07:02):

Speaker 6 (07:48):
Well, we're going to celebrate summer Ween, which is people
who celebrate Halloween in the middle of summer. Oops, by
doing a little quiz on phobias, weird and strange phobias.

Speaker 4 (07:59):
Summer ween makes me feel fine. We should use that
as a theme. All right, back to battle it out
in ten first one music, let's auto done it.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
I'm into submarine summer WEENE.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
All right, talk for today's pop cos pop quiz, Mario
Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 5 (08:14):
Here today it is Summerwen. It's the theme.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
Trying to get strange, interrrational phobias. Oh, there's a lot
of them out there, so let's get our hands on
the buzzers.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
All right, here we go.

Speaker 7 (08:24):
What is a Raki boo tyrophobia Mario oh Araki boot
tyru phobia is the fear of looking at your glass
being empty when there's an alcoholic.

Speaker 5 (08:38):
Beverage in it.

Speaker 4 (08:39):

Speaker 3 (08:52):
Iraqi boo tyro phobia is tyra banks tyra. That's where
tyra comes from, coming out and saying boo.

Speaker 4 (09:01):
And you're afraid that's incorrect?

Speaker 5 (09:03):
Okay, Can I have a serious guess?

Speaker 4 (09:04):
Now it won't count. Sure, let me just get a
serious guess. Actually, I'll let it count if you get it.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
I think it has to do with fear of spiders,
a rack and aphobia biting you.

Speaker 4 (09:14):
Incorrect. What is it?

Speaker 6 (09:15):
It's a fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof
of your mouth. There are people who are actually afraid
of peanut butter sticking to the roof of their mouth.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
I mean, I don't enjoy it. I don't know if i'd
say I'm afraid of it. Okay, people are deathly afraid
of it. Are real?

Speaker 6 (09:28):
These are all real. All right, here we go, hands
on buzzers. I feel like this is gonna be a
zero zero game at the end. But here we go. Me,
what is phobophobia? That was barely Courtney.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
A fear of having a fear, A.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
Fear of having a phobia. Yes, that is a that
is correct.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
You just oh, it's a zero good So you know what?

Speaker 4 (09:51):
For the record, I think I buzzed in before her,
but she like split second before.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
I'm just gonna're you're gonna get it?

Speaker 4 (10:00):
What probably?

Speaker 3 (10:03):
What would you have said?

Speaker 4 (10:04):
Curious? What would you no? It was phobophobia. Phobo phobia
is when you're scared of scary hobos.

Speaker 5 (10:14):
That's why you call them phobos.

Speaker 6 (10:15):
See actually that would be a good guess, but incorrect.
I guess it was a fear of having a phobia.
So Courtney's leading one to zero. We're going to take
a break, come back and.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
Do another set it right in the title.

Speaker 1 (10:26):

it's a planets. It's the fear of planets.

Speaker 6 (11:00):
The fear of plants. Is incorrect, Mario, do you know
what a bluetophobia is?

Speaker 2 (11:04):

Speaker 4 (11:11):
Blue being dominant.

Speaker 6 (11:12):
That is incorrect. It's the fear of bathing and cleaning.
I think you have this for the bottom of your
feet bathing and cleaning.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
I do not have which, by the way, every morning
and night when I take a shower and I.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
Think about it, I think about it. I think about
him not doing it every time I clean.

Speaker 5 (11:29):
It's individual, you know.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
Take that to the bank. It's not the bottom of
your feet. It's still one to zero.

Speaker 5 (11:33):
Let's compare.

Speaker 4 (11:34):
Let's take pictures, come back and do another.

Speaker 2 (11:40):

Speaker 4 (12:14):
This is actually a fear of stars.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
Like stars in this guy.

Speaker 4 (12:19):
Like they're pretty far away. But apparently that's a real fear.

Speaker 5 (12:22):
That those people don't need to be let out of
their house.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
It's one to zero. We're gonna play some music. I'm
back and wrap this up, Olmar.

fear of basic arithmetic. I think I suffer from a rhythmophobia.

Speaker 6 (12:56):
You know what, I'm actually gonna give it to you
because it's the fear of numbers.

Speaker 5 (13:00):

Speaker 2 (13:45):
Umfallophobia is the fear of being found guilty when you're innocent,

Speaker 2 (19:27):
God, I understand now, Okay, assuming you did have an appointment.

Speaker 5 (19:30):
That I thought, that's good, that's fine. Yeah, that you didn't.
