like it. That's a beautiful name. How you doing, Gigi?

Speaker 5 (04:52):
I'm good.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
How are you? I'm well. I'm well. So it's been
almost five years since Shaws of Sunset ended, and h
I assume a lot of things have changed for this
new series and over that time.

Speaker 5 (05:03):
Huh, yes, it's very exciting.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Have you seen it? I have not seen it. I've
seen it advertised, but I have not seen it. I
believe my wife has seen it, but I'm gonna have
to catch up. How many people from the Shaw's cast
are starring in the new one.

Speaker 6 (05:17):
We three ogs. It's myself, Reza and MJ. So three
of us came over here and decided to wreak havoc again.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
Yeah, you're in the valley this time because before you
were in west La, right.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
I was in Westwood areaa? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (05:33):
Yeah, I was in Westwood since I was like eighteen
years old. I'd stay there and then once I have
my son, I mean, you get a lot more space
for the buck in the valley.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Yeah. All right, a lot more to talk about. So
hanktag quick break. We're going to come back with some more.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Oh on Mario Lopez catching up with Gigi from the
new Bravo series The Valley Persian Style this hour. So Gigi,
how many people from the newcast are there?

Speaker 5 (05:57):
We are twelve?

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Oh wow, it's pretty cast.

Speaker 5 (06:01):
It is. I love that because we have a lot
of men now.

Speaker 6 (06:04):
It's it's very just diverse in age and everything like that.

Speaker 5 (06:08):
So it's really nice.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
And what kind of storylines are we going to see
from you?

Speaker 5 (06:14):
I would say, first and foremost, you guys will see
me as a mommy.

Speaker 6 (06:18):
My son was six months old when the show saw
Shawa since I got canceled, so now he's five and
a half, so everyone gets to see me being a
mom and you know, just trying to figure life out.
I was twenty nine when sha Since I started, I'm
forty four, so my drama is different.

Speaker 5 (06:35):
If that makes sense.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Sure, that makes total sense. I get it all right. Well,
hang tight, we're gonna have more with Gigi coming up first,
more music. Getting back to Gigi from the new Bravo
series The Valley Persian Style. You're Amorio Lopez, and are
you enjoying the Valley because I saw on the trailer
there's some people that don't seem to be enjoying it
too much.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
Listen, I'm loving the Valley.

Speaker 6 (06:56):
I have no idea I would ever cross nor of
Mulholland off the four h five, But I'm obsessed with
the Valley.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
It's great.

Speaker 6 (07:04):
What part of the Valley is someone in particular you
could see in the previews that does not like it
and she becomes kind of rude about it all season
long and it rubs everybody the wrong way.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
That's cool, des Ice. What part of the value are you.

Speaker 5 (07:17):
In I am, I'm in Woodland Hills.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Okay. Nice, that's really nice. There still more to talk
about a few more songs and we're going to come
back with some more Jiji from The Valley Persian Style.
Almar Lopez got Gigi from Shaw's of Sunset Back in
the Day on Zoom with US News. Series is The
Valley Persian Style over on Bravo and Giji. One of
the changes since Shaw's is that you are a mother.

(07:43):
Are you allowing your child to be on camera?

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Or no?

Speaker 5 (07:46):
I am.

Speaker 6 (07:47):
I am allowing my son to be on camera. He's
excited about it. He's a YouTuber, you know, kind of
sensation loving person.

Speaker 5 (07:54):
So I told him it's going to be like being
on YouTube.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
Here you go.

Speaker 5 (07:57):
So he likes it. He's enjoying it.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Nice. Nice, Good for you. All right, one more thing
I want to ask a quick break and then want
to come back and rap it up.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
You're the full interview now at on with Mario dot Com.
More Mario Lopez on.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
The Way Rabino with Gigi from the new Bravo series
of The Valley Persian Style. You're on Mario Lopez and
before I let you go, are we single? Are we dating?
What's the deal?

Speaker 5 (08:17):
I'm very single.

Speaker 6 (08:19):
I had this interview with Jeff Lewis a few weeks back,
and you know, he was asking why I'm single, and
I said, you know, I don't know where you even start.
Where do you go in LA in a city like
Los Angeles? Where do you go at forty four years old?

Speaker 5 (08:34):
Single mom? I'm not looking for someone to take care
of my kid. I'm not looking for someone to marry.
I'm not so where do I go? So I went
and bought an iPad and I joined.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
Riah, here you go. I was just about to ask
about dating apps? Is that the only one you're on?

Speaker 5 (08:48):
I am on a waiting list Mario.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Because it's a waiting list for a dating app.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
I don't know. I need recommendations, and I didn't know
that I was. I don't know.

Speaker 6 (08:56):
I've never been on an app in my life. That's
why I had to go buy an i pad because
it's an awful thing.

Speaker 5 (09:01):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
I think that one's kind.

Speaker 5 (09:02):
Of plans I would love that market.

Speaker 4 (09:05):
That one was kind of exclusive because it's like celebrities
and known people. So I think there's like a bigger
vetting process.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Yeah, Okay, got it, But what about are you open
to other apps?

Speaker 5 (09:14):
I've never tried any other dating apps before. It's a
little scary for me.

Speaker 6 (09:18):
I don't want someone just to see my face and
be like, oh, you know, she's cute or she is this,
or she's that.

Speaker 5 (09:24):
And I'm not into looks.

Speaker 6 (09:26):
I'm a safe as sexual, so for me, seeing someone's
face will ruin it all.

Speaker 5 (09:30):
I'm in the brains. I don't want to see someone's face.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
All right, fair enough, fair enough, Well, good luck and
look forward to checking it out. And everyone listen. Be
sure to catch GG in the new series The Valley
Persian Style Thursday on Bravo and streaming on Peacock. Thanks
for checking in, GG.

Speaker 5 (09:48):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
You are Mario Lopez a few more songs. Gonna make
a stop in a Quartos corner for a New Year's
Life act. And you tease us what we're gonna learn
about today?

Speaker 3 (10:10):
I sure can. It's about the do it now mindset.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
Yes, don't put it off, do it now. I like
it already, do it back with Cortos corner.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
Inten, don't move, don't do today, but you could put
off untill tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
You're Mario Courtney Lopez stopping in the Quartos corner for
another New Year's Life act what you got quarto, So
adopt to do it now mindset.

Speaker 5 (10:32):
You can't go wrong with that.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
Yeah, that's me every.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
Day every day I actually say to you, please stop
doing it now. Instead of adding tasks to an overwhelming
to do list, act on them immediately whenever possible. So
this approach helps prevent procrastination and builds momentum. So when
a task, idea, a resolution related action comes to mind,
commit to doing it immediately, no matter how small. Basically

(10:57):
you know, here's a few ways of doing it. I'm
gonna do the laundry. Just put away as soon as
you're done. Health and fitness. When you think I should
go for a walk, go immediately, even if it's just
for fifteen minutes. Don't wait for the perfect time or
a structured schedule, because something will always come up.

Speaker 6 (11:12):
Right.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
Cleanliness, organization. When you notice a dish in the sink,
wash it immediately instead of leaving it for later. They
always I like to say, put it away, don't put
it down. Yeah, everything has a place.

Speaker 5 (11:25):
Learning.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
When you think of a new skill to research, spend
five minutes on it right then and there I've done this.
It doesn't last very long. I usually maybe spend two
minutes on it, but you know, I try.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
I'm really good about all of these, especially the learning skill,
because that's why I've always remember I keep a dictionary,
but now I just have Google on the phone.

Speaker 4 (11:45):
Oh no, if you get fascinated with some of you
immediately stop what you're doing and you immediately look into it.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
I'm good. There's one thing I'm very bad at, though,
one thing very bad at that I do procrastinate that
I'm going to adopt a do it now washing the
bottom of mindset. No, well, that's another thing. I'll come
back and tell you what it is.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
Mario Lopez coming up, so.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Romo and Courtney Lopez and we just were in Quarto's corner.

Speaker 3 (12:08):
Nobody puts Quarto in the corner.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
That's true, nobody does. Nobody does. But you were talking
about adopting to do it now mindset, which I love.
You should do everything now and not procrastinate because something
will always come up. I'm pretty good about this except
for one area, and I guess it is my uh,
one of my New Year's resolutions. I usually don't have resolutions,
but this one I really have to get better at.

(12:31):
You know what it is? Can I guess?

Speaker 5 (12:33):
Sure?

Speaker 3 (12:33):
Go ahead putting stuff away in the room.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
I've gotten a little bit better than that. And when
I put my mind to it, didn't I do it
all this past weekend. Yeah, but it took three years. No,
it did not take three years.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
The closet again. Yeah, that's because it's always the falls
into her putting stuff away.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
What I need to be better at doing it now
is when someone sends a text or an email, I
need to reply right away. Yeah, because I am bad
at that.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
I am bad at that, And I'll tell you what
he's bad at that. He'll but he what he does
is he tells people remind me to do this later
instead of just doing it.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
Yes, well, because I want to give it some thought
and I want to be and I think I'm being
considered because I want to give it some thought because
I want to think about it a little bit more.
I think that backfires because it ends up piling up.
I don't get to it, and then that particular point
has passed. Yes, oftentimes, so I'm not going to be
It sounds weird, so considerate. I'm just going to answer

(13:21):
right then and down.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
I don't think it's you not being considerate. You just
you know, I don't think.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
That's no, it's not I was trying to be considerate,
that's what you know.

Speaker 4 (13:29):
What I'm saying. People will also well, I actually consider
it to be considerate. Cur you to reply quickly. No,
you're exactly right.

Speaker 6 (13:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
And I read something that changed my thinking that said,
all successful people I know reply to text immediately, and
I was like, wow, that cut deep because I do
not reply immediately. So now I am going to reply immediately.
And all my successful friends that I send text to
reply me back reply immediately. And I noticed that, and
I go, damn, I'm going to start doing that. I

(13:56):
got a random question to ask in just a bit.
Mario Lopez here along with my I have Couardian producer Frasier,
And while we get ready for that, Quardo has got
a random thought for us.

Speaker 6 (14:04):
What is it?

Speaker 2 (14:05):
Honey?

Speaker 3 (14:05):
You know I have been to the pharmacy nine trillion
times because we have fifty kids. You have nine thousand
things you were going, But does anybody else eavesdrop when
other people are giving their birth date?

Speaker 2 (14:22):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (14:22):
Sea hole they are to sea how.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Old they are.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
Because somebody was in front of me and she was
like October sixteen, and anytime it's October, I perk up
because that's my birth month. Then she's like nineteen ninety one,
and I'm like, this woman is ten years younger than me.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
And I was.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
Judging, and I felt bad, but it's like I do
that all the time.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
Now, that's a natural that's a natural reaction. Sure, sure,
And she was so sick in there, so she's probably
not in her best condition, so she's had her worst point.
Judging her looks terrible for your age.

Speaker 3 (14:54):
But I just I just didn't know if other people
do that, because I listened to everybody and I'm like,
oh my god, somebody was he he was born the
wife he was picking up for it, she was born
in twenty five. I'm like, she's one hundred years old.

Speaker 4 (15:04):
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
Crazy. All right, let's get back to the music, all right.
Tromarrow Courtney Lopez squeezing in a random question which my
wife for Frasier usually has for us, but today I
got one for you. Here's the scenario. My nephew and
son hit me with this. Here's the deal. You've got
Ussain Bolt, the world's fastest man world record for the
one hundred meter, and you've got Joey Chestnut, hot dog

(15:28):
eating champion. Right, they're both at the starting line of
a hundred meter race. They have to eat a hot
dog and swallow it before they can take off. Who
wins the race?

Speaker 4 (15:41):
If you throw up here disqualified?

Speaker 3 (15:42):
Yes, okay, Well, I would have to say Joey Chestnut
because I feel like he would just swallow it in
one and then take off. I don't think Bolt would.
It's amazing. His name is Bolt and Chestnut. Squirrels put

(16:04):
stuff anyway to deep I say, I say Chestnut because
I think he'll eat it faster and then run, which
will buy him time.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
Wow, very good, honey. I went to round at a bunch
of circles to get to that conclusion. But you're exactly right.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
You ran in circles as a before after you ate.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
The I don't know.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
More. Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (16:25):
Here's the rolls on right after a quick digital pit stop.
It on Mario dot com, so Cordo can tell us
what's trending O Mario and Courtney Lopez. Here what you got?

Speaker 1 (16:32):
Well?

Speaker 3 (16:32):
Rumors that Nikki Bella is casually dating an NFL star.
You can find out who and everything we know about
this young star.

Speaker 2 (16:42):
Go ahead, Nikki, there's a I think a twenty year
difference ahead. Girl right here, all right, having fun, She's
coming a share.

Speaker 4 (16:50):
She will know she shares as much as a share
is like, that's next fifty years.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
Yes, this one is barely legal, but he is. Why
Miley Cyrus is so cringed out calling Max Moado her
fiance uh okay, and why Christen Stewart says she would
love to direct a Twilight remake. On with Mario dot
com for all that and.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
More Aware dot Com to find out everything you need
to know about our twenty twenty six iHeartRadio Music Awards

Courtney Lopez and maybe twenty twenty six but twenty sixteen
currently having a moment right now on social media, probably
seen it trending or seeing a lot of posts from
ten years ago with captions like happy twenty sixteen and
wake up It's twenty sixteen. Psychologists are way in saying
it comes from stress or anxiety, those moments when people

(17:58):
reach back for something comforting or energizing interesting.

Speaker 3 (18:02):
Really well, many people feel like twenty sixteen had plenty
of those things to reach for. After all, there was
Pokemon Go oh well, then the Mannequin challenge that was fun.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
We did a great one by the Day, Buy the
Best We did, Why the.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
Best Captain America, the Jungle Book, and fun songs like
Justin Timberlakes, Can't Stop the Feeling and see his Cheap Thrills.
You know, I just always feel like we're always going
to be going back in time, and back in twenty sixteen,
we were probably wanting to go back to twenty ten, twenty.

Speaker 4 (18:31):
You know, twenty three minute nature is to be nostalgic.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
I think, yes, But I also think society peaked in
the eighties and nineties one hundred percent.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
Yes, Well, Mario Lopez will be right back.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
You're Mario Courtney Lopez. You know buying a ticket to
the Super Bowl is going to cost you thousands of dollars,
but what if you could pay in blood? Right now
through January twenty fifth, the Red Cross is offering just that.
When you give blood, you've entered to win a pair
of tickets to Super Bowl sixty in San Francisco. Very cool,
that's cool.

Speaker 3 (18:59):
The winner will get down trip plane tickets for them
and one guest, three nights at a hotel, one thousand dollars,
gift card for expenses, and access to all of the
pregame activities at Levi Stadium on February eighth. It's great
book a time to give a redcrossblood dot org and

tell me how many the tequila shots you think we'll
tell to everyone. Warre and Courtney Lopez Almost time to
pass the mic. But now before we get to one
last thing, twenty twenty six for me is really going
to be about taking my health to the next level.

Speaker 4 (19:57):
And replying to text immediately and replying to text immediately.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
Yes, correct, that's the one two punch. I've always made
health my top priority, always preached that because without that
good as anything else. However, I'm not really good about
maintenance and taking care of my body and really sort
of giving it the proper and rest and recovery and
recovery that it deserves. So I recently met with a

(20:22):
great doctor turned out to be my friend, really cool guy.
Shout out to doctor John Lakey, and he convinced me
to do stem cells. Okay, because I've had a myriad
of injuries, torn both my biceps, torn my rotator cuff,
torn my.

Speaker 4 (20:37):
Achilles, all this just in the time we've done this
radio show, by the way, exactly.

Speaker 2 (20:41):
Really like in the last five years. So you know,
now getting into my fifties, I don't want to stop
doing the things that I love, So I want to
just take care of it and be proactive. So the
thing about stem cells is it's great for tissue repair regeneration.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
Right.

Speaker 2 (20:58):
It can also treat any sort of blood disorders you
have or any sort of chronic diseases. But for me,
I'm trying to really kind of strengthen the tissues all
around the bones. Ironically, I haven't both broken any bones,
but your ligaments start to get MS are weak. Yeah,
they start to get well, they start to get damage
over time. Right, it's kind of like a they wear down.

(21:18):
They wear down. It's not a piece of cloth. It's
just started to kind of feel like a rubber band
that you use, a very good analogy that touches up.
So by being proactive in doing this sort of stuff,
I'm hoping no future injuries. So I went to do
the the stem cells. We went down to Mexico and
there's a whole process, but I got to say, I
feel great. The process so far is so good. I

(21:39):
think it's a once a year thing. And again, I'm
really happy I did this because I don't think there
is a better investment than in your health.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
Yeah, Well, I love that you're doing that for you
and eventually I would hope that you would want that
for me as well.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
Yes, honey, So for everybody's like it's healthy, it's could
be you haven't broken or torn anything.

Speaker 3 (21:58):
My okay, you guys, I was a dancer my whole life.
What I put my body through, you guys have no idea.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
Well, let's get I have injuries that.

Speaker 3 (22:09):
I never tended to because I was working and didn't
want to complain dancing in three inch heels on wooden
stick like hard surfaces.

Speaker 5 (22:17):
But you do, you boo over here in a wheelchair.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
Let's do it. We're hitting up, lady.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
Put more Mario Lopez on the way.

Speaker 2 (22:25):
All right, that's it. Thank you so much for having
