Speaker 1 (00:11):
You're listening to the Buck Sexton Show podcast, make sure
you subscribe to the podcast on the iHeartRadio app or
wherever you get your podcasts. Is Trump going to get Greenland?
What is the latest out of Davos? And also what's
going to happen up in Minneapolis with ice of the
immigrations and customs enforcement variety, not the ice that falls
(00:34):
from the sky in the snow. We will talk to
Priapatel about all of this. She's a political commentator. You
see her on Trace Galarus Fox Show and she joins
us now to make sense of the madness.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
Can I start with this?
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Did you see the relief on the faces of the
assembled that Davos when Trump was like, We're not going
to send in the military. We're not just going to
take it. They were actually scared that he was going
to send in the military.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
Well and honestly as they should be, to be honest
with you, Like every time I was hearing anybody at
Davos trying like strong arm Trump and threaten him, I'm like,
what pops into my head? Is that two thousands? I
think it's Dave chappel Butt where he plays Black Bush
and he's like sanction me, go and sanction me with
(01:21):
your army, and he goes, you don't have an army,
so you might as well just shut the f up,
because it's just like, what are you guys going to do?
What are you Denmark gonna do about it? You should
be scared because if we did want to take it,
we would take it. But we actually want to do
a deal with you, so like, simmer down and come
to the table and talk with us, because we can
(01:41):
take it if we want. We don't want to have to.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
Well, I also thought Europe sending various European countries sending
like ten soldiers to Greenland in a show of solidarity.
This is not this is not cool at all, Like
this is not a smart idea to be like, well,
you know what, we will fight to the last drop
of blood of five guys that we're sending to this
ice box against the United States military, Like it's preposterous.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
Yeah. Well, and I think initially for this was the
only country that actually came from the defense of Denmark
and was like we will send we will send ours
to fight with you guys. And it's like, well, I'm
pretty sure that the national flag of France at this
point should just be the white flag. So please send
your army. Let's see what happens.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Well, what do you think happened.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
I'm not trying to get you in trouble here, although
depending on your answer, you might get a little bit
of hot water. What happened to Emmanuel met Krong? He's
wearing the glasses? The official story people are talking about
maybe Brigitte thought that he got a little little uppity
or something. Is Trump? Is Trump going to end up
with Greenland? Is this actually going to happen? Or is
(02:48):
this posturing slapping around the Eurocrats because it's fun.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
What do you make of that?
Speaker 3 (02:53):
No? Think I think it is going to happen, And
I think if it was going to happen under any president,
it was going to be Trump. We know him. He's
determined and when he wants something, he's going to have it.
This has been this has been a policy position of
the United States for decades now. Greenland is very very
important to our national security. But as far as like
military power and like the airspace, the shipping routes, it
(03:20):
is very very risky to have countries like China and
Russia have any sort of power over Greenland, and if
that's going to be the case, then yeah, we should
take full control over it. It's important that it's protected.
And guess what, Denmark is not capable of doing so,
even with the help of the French military. It's in
their interest for it to be protected too, so they
(03:42):
might as well just let us do it for them.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
What is now You're Californian.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
For anyone who doesn't know, who's not familiar with your
excellent work on this show and Fox and others, what
is Gavin Newsom doing at Davos other than taking photos
with Soros's Scion air or whatever.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
This is a great question and I would love to
know the answer to it as well. And I would
love to know for sure that his sugar daddy, Alex
Sourus is actually paying for his trip and this is
not taxpayer funded because he has no new business being there.
I know that he wants to run for president, but
currently he is the governor of California and he has
no geopolitical position other than the fact that he sells
(04:21):
out our state to China constantly. But yeah, there's there's
absolutely no reason for him to be there other than,
you know, try and reve elbows with the people that
he's hoping to be working with if he wins the
presidential election.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Do you think that Gavin Newsom might be able to
make things so uncomfortable for Kamala to run in the
primary that she might even forego it? Or is it
just too the prize is too big, she's too delusional.
She because they're going to go obviously head to head,
right that's there are two of the names at the top,
(04:55):
and all the betting markets and everything else right now,
and Gavin place Gavin place dirty. But I gotta say,
people forget Kamala can throw a mean punch when she
wants to. Remember she went after Biden, who then she
became VP to essentially saying you're like an old white
racist shoe on stage.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
Yeah. No, I mean, I give kam law credit where
it's due. A lot of people don't. A lot of
people are just like, no, she's really really stupid, you
know what. Some stupid things come out of her mouth
once in a while, but you're not stupid. You can't
fail your way to the top that hard. So I
think that she has a lot of I would say,
street cred in the political game. She surely knows how
(05:34):
to play it. But Gavin Newsom is just I mean,
we all know that he's a complete snake. I just
watched his interview with Ben Shapiro this last week, and
I'm like, the man didn't answer a single question. I
don't know if anyone noticed that. It's always it's always
some sort of deflection from anything that he's pointedly asked. It's, well,
let's talk about the economy or taxation in California. Well,
(05:57):
Louisiana does this. Well, hey, we're not talking about Louisiana
because you're not the governor of Louisiana. You're the governor
of California. And I you know, Ben Shapiro was a
lifelong Californian up until about four years ago. So I
want to ask you about the state that I've fled
because of your policies, not about Louisiana. That is completely
irrelevant to this specific conversation. He does this all the time,
(06:19):
And even when he had his little meltdown at Davos,
I think it was yesterday or early or late the
day before, when he was just essentially complaining about all
of these European countries working with TU instead of strong
arming him and it's like, you don't live in reality
if that's what you think they should be doing.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
How much is the billionaire exit because of the billionaire
wealth tax in your state? How much is that getting
attention from people who are are at least willing to think, like,
you know, there's the Republicans in your state, Democrats in
your state. But I mean, are you seeing people start
to change their minds a little bit about how California
(06:59):
is governed based upon what will happen if these billionaires leave.
It's like a trillion dollars of wealth they will take
with them state of California. Absolutely, it's already going deep
into a hole. It comes financially completely dysfunctional if they leave.
So is there an awareness of that among the saane?
How is that playing out?
Speaker 3 (07:17):
You know? I think there is some sort of awareness
among the saying I wouldn't say that it's you know,
the far leftist liberals that live here. You know, they
all kind of live in the la la land of
let's tax the rich because that money ends up in
our pockets or gets you know, or cuts our taxes,
which is just not the reality of things. These people
prop up the economy in California almost wholeheartedly. And if
(07:37):
they leave they're going to California. It's not only going
to lose a lot of the taxes that they're going
to be able to get from the billionaires, from their
companies and everything everything that comes with them, but they're
going to lose about thirty to forty percent of the
annual revenue that they get from income tax just from
the billionaires leaving, not to mention the businesses that are
going to leave, to mention the jobs that are going
(07:58):
to leave with those businesses. I mean, it's going to hurt.
I would say that it probably would crush the California
economy altogether because if we lose Silicon Valley, we're done.
There's there's nothing that's going to prop up the immense
deficit that we have here in the state. The economy
will just collapse. And not to mention the job scarcity
that we already suffered from here, it's going to be
(08:19):
even more plentable at that point.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
Is Eric Swalwell really going to be the next Democrat
nominee for Governor of California? Because I have to say,
as much as you find I've described him as evil.
Keanu Reeves before Gavin Newsom like he's just like, hey,
you know, like I've got my shirt buttoned down four
buttons and I'm just so suave, you know, And you
(08:42):
know he's bad. But Eric Swalwell is clownishly absurd. And
yet my understanding is he is currently the most likely Democrat.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
Is this really possible? I guess he's better than the
Katie Katie Porter person.
Speaker 3 (08:59):
Thang thanks, Yeah, No. So, Actually, there was news that
dropped about four days ago that is showing that Eric
Swawell could possibly be ineligible to run for California governor
because he doesn't have a residence here in California and
to run for Gunmury. I believe it's you have to
have a permanent residence here or have your primary residence
(09:19):
here for the past it's either four or five years.
But he hasn't had a primary residence here in years.
It doesn't even have a least or owned property here
at all, if I remember correctly, So he might be
completely ineligible, which would bring even more forward the possibility
that we could have a the funniest thing happened to
(09:40):
California politics ever, probably a two Republican primary.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
Well, I mean, the good news for Swallwell is you
could always try to become the governor of Sechuan or something,
you know what I mean. He's got a fondness for
mainland China. From what I understand. We're going to come
back and talk Ice in Minneapolis here in a second.
But our sponsor is Birch Gold Group, and Birch Gold
has helped so many people in recent years who are
listeners of this program and the radio show transitions some
(10:10):
portion of their savings. And the gold look gold that

All right, now, on the Minneapolis ice enforcement operations all
(10:57):
that stuff. First of all, do you there are a
lot of people that are calling for charges against politicians
in Minneapolis or in Minnesota, including Minneapolis Tim Walls and
Fry the mayor. But I'm sitting here, I'm like, what
about all the people that ripped off all the money?
We haven't even gotten charges against them. What about the
(11:18):
people who just interrupted the church service? How do you
see this playing out?
Speaker 3 (11:22):
Yeah? I mean there need to be a lot of
charges brought to a lot of people, and I think
we should start from the top. I mean, the immediate
issues when it comes to Don Lemon and the people
that broke into that church service should be top priority.
But aside from that, we need to go after the
politicians first and foremost because they are inciting violence among
our law enforcement, and they are inciting insurrections. Believe it
(11:45):
or not, I know that's like the hot topic buzzword
for the left and husband for the last five years,
but they seem to not recognize an insurrection when they
actually commit one. But yeah, we need to see some major,
major crackdown on the things that are happening in Minnesota
in general, but specifically Minneapolis. And I mean, as much
as I love the administration, we've been incredibly slow moving
(12:08):
and kind of incapable in terms of bringing prosecutions to
people that really deserve them. I mean we have We've
seen nothing done about you know, anybody on the January
sixth Committee for imprisoning people that were wrong wrongfully, wrongfully committed,
for simply walking into the Capitol and taking a selfie,
all of these mems from you know, the Midwest. We've
(12:30):
seen nothing done about that. And the fact that we're
completely incapable of doing that kind of shows me that,
you know what, I don't think Don Lemon is stupid.
I think he knew exactly what he was doing when
he walked into that church that day, and I think
that on a political matter, he was kind of daring
the administration to do something about it.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
I have to I have to jump in pria because.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
I know Don Lemon and I can tell you he's
really stupid, just so you know, I know him, he's dumb.
But I think your point that he was aware of
his actions that day correct that I will accept. But
I can't let you get away with Don Lemon's not no, no,
he's really stupid, just so you know, you know.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
That that's a fair correction. I think that he was
fully aware that what he was doing was in a
violation of the civil rights of those churches.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
Course, of course.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
And it's the first thing that I mean from from
the perspective of someone like that, like a washed up
former you know, CNN hack. People are talking about him
more in the last few days than they have since
Elon booted his ass from his show on X for
acting like a jerk. Right, So yeah, it's it's already.
I mean, the the press focus on him.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
The free media exactly what he wanted. It's exactly what
he wanted, so and honestly I want him. This is
where I think it's tough because if they were to charge.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
Someone like Don Lemon, Look, Don Lemon's made millions and
millions of dollars for many years at CNN. Again, I know, uh,
and I think, uh, you know, it might actually work
to his favor to be charged, especially if they if
they weren't able to see it through. Because remember, you're
gonna have a judge. People say, oh, it's federal, okay,
but you have a federal judge in Minnesota, and you'll
probably get some Obama or Biden appointed judge who's gonna
(14:07):
throw it out in the first Now, then people get
into the well.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
Charged him sends a message.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
Okay, but you know this is where it gets tough,
right because if the message may be that Don Lemon
now becomes a big resistance hero.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
At ever, you know.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
So you know, I feel like we got to make
sure that we have the right kind of of moves
that are made here. I don't know if you even
saw Lindsay Halligan. I knew she was going to lose
on this because I'm familiar with for other reasons. I've
got friends that have gone through the process actually of
being appointed US attorney, and they missed the window for
(14:40):
appointing her and the DOJ. Unfortunately, with this is the
Trump administration, I'm like rooting for these guys. There's a
window where the DOJ can appoint an interm US attorney.
They missed the window. It's like a set amount of time.
And then she brought and she got she got indictments
of Letitia James and James Comey, and then they were
both thrown out because she wasn't appointed in the window
(15:02):
and I just need it. I'm like, guys, you know,
I appreciate the effort, but you actually, like you hurt
yourself when you don't do things the way that they
have to get done to get the result.
Speaker 3 (15:13):
You. Yeah, No, I mean, I completely agree. I do
agree that we do have to be politically strategic on
what we do in the case of Don Lemon, But
as a broader matter, I do think I personally think
it would send a message because the fact that these
Democrats think that they can just run amok in our cities,
completely burn them down, harass and ambush law enforcement trying
(15:39):
to feed them, and all under the guise that this
is protected under free speech, which it isn't. Breaking into
a church which is private property, even though it is
a public service, it is still private property, and if
you were asked to leave, you are obligated to leave
the premises, but that impeding law enforcement is not protected
under free speech. Protest is for for political reasons. It's
(16:02):
not for stopping law enforcement that are enforcing the law.
If you want to protest, go take it up with
your congressmen. That's how you actually get laws changed. You
can't you can't stop people to come enforcing the law
that is in place.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
Well also, I.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
Mean these people that are out on the streets and
they are getting the way of cops. It's not protest.
It's far more effective to post it. As you know,
you'll reach far more people if you share your thoughts
online than you ever will on some street corner. No
one cares the era of oh there were one hundred
people with placards, we have to pay attention.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
They're irrelevant.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
They they're there to get in the way and to
cause an incident, and in this case they cause the
lethal incident. So I mean, I think that that much
of it is very clear. But PRIA is gonna fix
California and with it, save the country. So we're next
time you come back, you've got to just tell us
how you are saving the country. You gotta help. You
gotta help my friend Steve Hilton become governor. Can you
(16:52):
do that?
Speaker 3 (16:53):
I'm trying. I love Steve so much. I love him Yeah,
he's the best. I'm praying and hoping that we can
get him pushed through.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
Give give him a pass in my regards. Guys, go
follow Pria Patel on on Twitter and look for her
on Fox, where she'll be making many, many more appearances.
And Pa, thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
Good to see you, Good to see you.
Speaker 3 (17:12):
Thanks for having me.
