Sean Hannity closes the show with a sober discussion about personal responsibility, lawful self-defense, and de-escalation. Drawing on experience, listener calls, and real-world examples, Sean explains why the Second Amendment comes with serious obligations — especially in volatile situations involving law enforcement. He emphasizes training, restraint, and judgment, arguing that the goal is always to prevent tragedy, not invite it. A powerful reminder that rights and accountability must go hand in hand.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, news round up in Information Overload hour. Here's

(00:02):
a toll free number. It's eight hundred and nine point one, sean,
if you want to be a part of the program.
The battle over immigration continues, and John Fetterman now predicting
that he thinks Democrats will shut down the Department of
Homeland Security, and that includes FEMA and every other agency
that I've been mentioning to you that will be impacted

(00:22):
by all of this. And if that's their choice, look
at if their goal is to defund ice, if their
goal is to put such restrictions on them that they
can't do their job, if they don't want voter id
and that's their position. If Democrats that they're now on
record voting for the largest tax increase in history, if

(00:43):
they want to continue defund dismantled, no bail, reimagine the police.
And they voted against tax cuts for working men and women, know,
tax on tips and overtime. If they want to continue
voting against no tax on social security for seniors, and
these are the positions they want to double down on

(01:04):
and they want to take. I'm willing to have that
fight going into the twenty six midterm elections. I don't
think you can look at a snapshot of today and
have any real indicator of where these midterms are ultimately headed.
A lot will depend on, you know, the level of recovery,
which I expect is going to be pretty spectacular. However,

(01:27):
I think as we learn more about corruption and learn
more that these these protests against ice or anything but organic,
and that they're being well funded and that money money spent,
the billions of dollars in corruption that will be exposed
in the next number of months, I think people have
a very different perception of the Democratic Party in general

(01:50):
and what they want, which is maintaining status quo, which
is failure. What I'd like to see Republicans do is
set up a series of votes so that you get
the Democrats on record voting against every insane policy that
they obviously support. Eric Schmidt, the Senator from Missouri, is
what he said. He tells the head of the sorrow

(02:12):
but backed NGO that we're not going to that we're
going to accelerate mass deportations and denaturalize fraudsters, especially this
institutionalized fraud in Minnesota in the Somali community.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Here's what he said, do you stand by these statements.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Well, I appreciate the depths to which you've gone of
research in the context of all those statements.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
Yes, sir, so all of those things are racist.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
If you want to go through them, we can tell.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
So here's I'm really glad, but I'm going on hold on.
I'm glad for this moment of clarity because a lot
of witnesses would try to sidestep that.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
That's correct.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
But what you have shown in the questioning we've seen
before in just these examples, the public interest isn't your
interest at all. It is not your interest at all.
You use racism as an attempt to intimidate people to
get your way, and it's not twenty twenty anymore. The
American people are over it. So what you're going to
find is we are going to prosecute and has nothing
to do with race. We're going to prosecute because fraud

(03:05):
was committed on a level that is so offensive to
this country. Your words that don't mean anything aren't going
to stop what's coming. And I want you to take
that back to George Soros and all these ridiculous funders.
You have to try to muddle the issue because justice
is coming and by the way. If I have it
my way, we will denaturalize all these frausters and send
them home.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Senator Eric Schmid, former AG of Missouri, is with us. Sir,
welcome back, glad to have you. What specifically were you
talking about in terms of the NGOs and the monies involved.

Speaker 5 (03:37):
Yeah, so we had a hearing last week on the
Somali fraud in Minnesota specifically, and what we know is
that this vast NGO network is sort of fueling a
lot of this protest and this movement that creates these
confrontations in these in these in these cities. And so
we had a witness of course, trying to muddle the
issue that well, this effort by the Trump administration, it's

(03:57):
race system. And I just went through to that clip,
like twenty examples of this guy and this George Soros
network labeling everything as racist and you know this, Sean,
they try to use that term to intimidate people, to
get them to shut up, to silence them. And I
made the point, it's not twenty twenty anymore. I've seen
this before. I've seen this movie before. I saw it
in Ferguson when I was AG. I saw it in

(04:18):
the wake of the George Floyd riots all across this country,
and I see it now. They try to find some
viral moment, they create the confrontation, and then they want
to use it to do all sorts of things. And
the way it's playing out now is they want to
use what happened to Minneapolis Sean to kneecap Ice and
stop the deportations and have to facto amnesty in this country.

(04:39):
And we're not having it. And so Senator Graham and
I have been very vocal about this the last couple
of weeks to our Republican colleagues, specifically, we need to
stiffen our spine. We're not going to succumb to this
moral blackmail. We're not going to do the things that
they want to do that limit Icey's ability to do
their jobs. So my proposal is, you know what you
want to have the debate, Let's have that debate. How
about let's vote on the brit Tack to America Act,

(05:00):
which does a few things. One it gets rid of
sanctuary cities altogether. Two, it increases the penalties for illegal
entry and illegal renty reentry. Three it's stiffened the penalties
if you go after ice agents, and four we're going
to dismantle this NGO network behind fueling this kind of
discontent and confrontation on the street. So I'm more than
willing to have this debate. It's fascinating. Now we have

(05:23):
a convergence now of voter ID and illegal immigration. Right now,
this is a home game for US. Shawan and Republicans
have to be tough and we got to submit these proposals.
Make the Democrats vote on this stuff. But we're not.
We're not going to get blackmailed into funding FEMA and
TSA to dismantle our immigrant you know, our deportation enterprise.

(05:43):
We're not doing that because that's what the American people want.
They voted for it. With President Trump in twenty twenty four.
It was very clear about this. The Democrats just don't
like the election results and it's their latest attempt to
deny them.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Oh, I want to go through this. I mean it
was interesting even actually was pointed it out. While Democrats
are taking a very public posture, and that is that
they want Christy nome fire, that they want ICE agents
not to be able to wear a mask, that they
want to defund ice, et cetera, et cetera. Behind the scenes,
they're scared to death of having that vote on sanctuary

(06:17):
cities and states. Now, by definition, I view that, and
you're a former attorney general, not me as not only
aiding in a betting in law and break breaking, but
institutionalizing obstructing justice. Tell me how it's not that And
why would anybody ever be against voter ID when when
you even have seventy one percent of Democrats supporting it,

(06:39):
you know, Hispanic Americans, African Americans eighty percent support it,
And why would they be against it? The only thing
I can think of is they have nefarious intentions, right, So.

Speaker 5 (06:50):
Let's think that the two issues as it relates to
their concern now behind the scenes, on immigration, they should
they less fifteen to twenty million people here illegally, and
Trump said we're going to fix that. He's effectively closed
the border. He stopped the narco terrorists really on the
high season bringing it in, so we have, you know,
the deportations that he promised to conduct. This isn't on

(07:11):
President Trump, and it's not on Ice because you know
how you know that you take Minneapolis. It's only happening
in the blue jurisdictions there's deportations happening in red and
blue states all across this country. You don't see what
happened in Minneapolis. In eleven jurisdictions and eleven counties in
this whole country, you're five hundred in those counties, five
hundred and ninety times more likely to see an ICE

(07:34):
agent assaulted because these sanctuary jurisdictions aren't allowing local law
enforcement to cooperate with ICE. So when you have a
rapist being released from prison, that's that's an illegal immigrants.
That's where ICE would use one or two bodies and
go get that person and deport them. What they're doing
is they're just releasing them sean into the community, and
ICE has to go intose neighborhoods and get these bad guys.

(07:57):
But they don't want that. They don't want the deportation
for them in the staff for the country. But ultimately,
I think we're going to win this fight if we
are tough enough. Secondly, on goo to ID, President Trump
ushered in. I think twenty twenty four stood for anything
was a return to common sense. Over eighty percent of America,
including seventy percent of Democrats, believe you should have to
show an idea to vote. You know, you have to vote.

(08:17):
You have to show an idea, to buy alcohol, to
buy a plane ticket, you know, anything that you do
in this country, you got to show an ID. They
don't want that because they want the fifteen to twenty
million people they brought here illegally to vote for them.
That's the God's honest truth, and we should stop trying
to sugarcoat it. They want to import voters. They don't
want election integrity because they want these people who are

(08:40):
here illegally to vote. And we and again I think
this is the reason why it's called a Stay of
America Act. On that one, that's what this is about,
if we actually do.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
But the problem too is once you allow, once you
have a sanctuary city, state protections, that then allows illegal
immigrants to get legal driver's license. Doesn't that then allow
them to have an ID that if they wanted to
register to vote, they likely could and nothing would stop them.

Speaker 5 (09:09):
Yeah, that's the loophole that the Save America Act also closes,
which it does three things. First, it says you've got
to have a valid ID. Second, it says you have
to have proof of proof of citizenship. Right because you're right,
because people can show up if they're here illegally and
get a driver's license, and then you show that driver's
license registered to vote, and Democrats act, fact, that's not
a thing. It is a thing. And then we also

(09:29):
have to restrict mail in balloting to the limited cases
where it you know, people should give a disability or
you're elderly and your home and you can, you know,
access a voting by mail. That's fine. But this mass
mail in balloting where you send it to everybody in
the state and you have these drop boxes, that is
of course right for fraud. So that's what that builds about.
But I think this week showing to set the stage.

(09:52):
Dhl's funding expires at the end of the week. The
Democrats have ridiculous proposals. We've got to Protect America Act.
Senator Graham's got his sanctuary cities, let's vote on this stuff.
Let's put it all out there.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
And I think, so, why aren't they voting on it?
When is it going to come.

Speaker 6 (10:06):
Up for a vote this week?

Speaker 5 (10:08):
So the funding expires Friday, so one or two things
has to happen. We have to extend that funding for DHS,
or that aspect shuts down. But here's the thing, the
next STEMA and that's TSA. And so do the Democrats
really want to do that? Because the ice money Sean,
as you know, is already frontloaded from the one big
beautiful bill, the working Family tax cuts. We've frontloaded money

(10:31):
for deportations. We've frontloaded billions for the wall, We've frontloaded
billions for detention centers. So that's going to happen. The
deportations are going to continue. All the Democrats will effectively
do to while their grand standing is shut down TSA
and FEMA. And I don't think they're going to do it,
So they should blink not us.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
Well, I'd like to see it, But you know, Republicans
also have to make sure that the debate is on
the proper issue. Do you think you have enough Republicans
that will vote the right way on these issues? I
would have, and it's unanimous.

Speaker 5 (11:01):
No, I think so. I think so. But that's why
I think we need people to make the case right
now and why I've been on the floor several times
the last two weeks in our conference lunches Center Graham,
We're pushing hard to make sure Republicans understand we can't
yield on this, this issue of illegal immigration, Sean is
the electrical cord that connects President Trump coming down that

(11:22):
escalator the first time to his you know, the greatest
political comeback in American history. He took it seriously. They
saw the problems that happened with the open border under
Joe Biden. They want it fixed, and we're not going
to allow the Democrats to fffort those efforts by holding
up a funding bill to get some policy changes that
would stop that.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
What about all these cities that are not cooperating. I mean,
there's a story out today how they've identified thirty five
thousand criminal illegals in the state of California alone, like
for example, West Virginia work with ICE six hundred and
fifty arrests later, and there was no chaos at all
in any way, shape, matter of form. And then you

(12:01):
look out in California and you see the exact opposite happening.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
They don't want to cooperate. Why is that?

Speaker 1 (12:07):
And how do they get away with that? And tell
me what part of that's that? Not being obstruction is okay?

Speaker 5 (12:13):
Well it's not okay, but they know exactly what they're doing.
They don't want illegal immigrants to go back home because
they want to turn them into voters because they don't
have to show an ID and they don't need a
birth certificate right now, or I should say, yeah, birth
certificate or prove they're a citizens to get that ID.
That's why our changes are so important. That's sort of
the the workaround that they have right now. And so

(12:34):
I do think that President Trump is very smart in
my view, to negotiate to isolate this issue. So we
had all the eleven of the twelve approaches bills, appropriation
skills are out there. It's now isolated to DHS. So
the Democrats want to on our in my view, on
our home turf, make the arguments that somehow we should
stop deportations, and that should not be our position. We

(12:56):
should say we're not We're going to allow law enforcement
to do their jobs. They believe, Sean that they can
capture the American public. They want to create these confrontations
sanctuary cities, find some video that goes viral and then
everyone will say, we're not going to do this anymore.
Hundreds of thousands of violent criminals are roaming our streets

(13:17):
today doing Lincoln Riley. I mean, you could an autistic
woman who was raped and murdered in her apartment, and
the illegal immigrant took the three dollars that he got
from her and went to Target with his buddy. These
are the people that Biden and the Democrats let in,
and these are the people they're defending now when they
get in the way of Ice doing their jobs. That's

(13:39):
who they're defending. So, like I said, we should be
totally unafraid of this debate. And so you know, I
think that every day that passes, more and more Republicans
understand that. But we have to be very clear. I
think there was a moment where some Republicans were maybe
looking to cut a deal with Democrats, and we can't
do that. We're not going to allow them to to

(14:00):
make law enforcement's job more dangerous or to not let
them do their job in the first place. So I
feel pretty confident now that the winners that are back,
if we've got the guts to stand up to the Democrats,
they should not be able to hold this DHS funding
hostage while they have ridiculous demands to effectively defund ice. Look,
the last thing I'll say about this Sehan's history doesn't

(14:22):
always repeat itself, but it's certainly rhymes. And you and
I both know in twenty twenty to defund the police
movement was a thing. They try to walk away from
that now a little bit, but now we're with defund ice.
So this is a huge mistake I think the Democrats
are making. In the polling would suggest that people still
not only do they support deporting the worst to the worst,
a majority of Americans support deporting people who come here

(14:45):
illegally because they think our sovereignty actually matters.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
Gondor Eric Schmidt, Missouri, we appreciate you and good luck
this week. We'll be watching very very closely. Eight hundred
and nine four one. Shawn is on number. If you
want to be a part of the program. You know,
as I said earlier in the program, I mean, I
don't mind admitting that. I mean I thought yesterday's Super
Bowl game was as dull as anything I've ever seen.

(15:08):
And Linda said ahead of time, she's not watching it,
and you didn't really miss much.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
I was half paying attention to it. It was.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
It was just a dull game all the way across
the board. And you know, you sending me the interpretation
of the lyrics of bugs, Bunny. I mean, I just
meaningless to me.

Speaker 7 (15:29):
It's it's not meaningless, it's vile. That means. I mean,
people watch the NFL is an American pastime. The super
Bowl is like, it's ridiculous.

Speaker 8 (15:38):
You know.

Speaker 7 (15:39):
I read stats this morning that it was.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
I want everyone you get this. If you get this
analysis from Linda, remember about a year or so ago,
she didn't know what crossing the plane met.

Speaker 7 (15:49):
But I do understand entertainment, and there is not many points.
This is not football, Sean, This is entertainment. Real football
players and real football lovers are not watching this game
and sane. I feel intrigued, I feel invigorated. I feel
like I'm watching a great game. These are a bunch
of very highly paid people with a bunch of other
highly paid C suite people that all get to sit

(16:09):
up close. And the guys in the nosebleeds are the
true heart and soul of the sport. They're nowhere near
that field. So all the disgusting things we're seeing really
has nothing to do with football, in my opinion, and
bad money. His lyrics do matter because they're vile and repulsive,
and this is something that you sit and watch.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
But nobody understood it.

Speaker 7 (16:30):
Yes, they didn't understand it, but they don't realize what's
being sung in front of their children. So then if
you send your kids to school and they're like, oh,
do you know what he said? Because they all have
social media, some of them are able to speak Spanish,
and they know what he said, and it's vile.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
I had given up on it. I mean, here's just
the reality. Unfortunately for me. You know, I think that
it's kind of like the bud Light situation, just as
a bad decision, and you have to wonder why they
made it and why they don't go for the broadest
possible appeal. And there are plenty of artists that would

(17:06):
fit that bill. I'll give you one that you might
disagree with. Taylor Swift for example. Everybody would love Taylor
Swift to the super Bowl. You know, most people would
not care about her politics. It'd be nice if she
kept politics out of it. That would be an example.
You just go for a classic rocker like they've done
in the past. But you know, I think that the

(17:26):
NFL must have made a conscious decision that they like
controversy because they invite controversy all the time when it
comes to these No, they made.

Speaker 7 (17:35):
A conscious decision that they want to be woke to
EI liberals. And they made that decision a long time ago.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
Oh they did, and I don't think it helps them.
I mean, in the end, that's my humble opinion. But
you know, it's not like anyone over at the NFL
cares what I think. Anyway, let's get to our phones.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
Eight hundred. What did you make? But more importantly, what
did you eat?

Speaker 7 (17:55):
I made a brunch. None of us watch the Super Bowl.
Our entire family boycotted. It was amazing and we had
a lovely brunch and it was great.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
How many Bloody Marys did you have?

Speaker 7 (18:05):
You know, I didn't drink Bloody Mary's history. Nobody wanted them,
so I have mimoses. It's kind of boring the Bloody
Mary I had about five. Fine, I'm allowed to drink.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
I can.

Speaker 7 (18:15):
You know I can handle my liquor.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
You know that not as good as you think that
you can.

Speaker 7 (18:21):
I mean, I'm out of practice. I don't drink as
much as I used to. But you know, five mimosas
for me, I'm fine.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, I'd love to see Linda five
mimosas in It depends if you're if it's good mood
Linda or bad mood Linda.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
I don't know, it all depends.

Speaker 7 (18:35):
It's always a good mood with Linda, really yeah, unless
we're talking about bad money. Otherwise I'm fine.

Speaker 1 (18:41):
No, unless you're trying to piss me off to get
ready for a show, which is.

Speaker 7 (18:44):
Like, no, I'm even happier than it's even more fun.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
Brian in Kentucky, what's up, Brian? How are you glad
you called?

Speaker 3 (18:51):
Any Thanks? Thanks for having me on the show. Glad,
I told as well. Yeah, so you know, there's a
there's a big message that was posted on the the
display board there at the super Bowl and the Bad
the Bad Bunny, so that talked about love not hate,
and uh, when we again, when we look at the

(19:16):
what's going on with these protesters, right, I don't see
a whole lot of love going on, especially when they're
using foul language and kicking out the you know lights
out of the back of an ice vehicle or or
you know, streaming for fanties and banging drums and blowing
whistles and just being very disruptive. Uh, not a lot

(19:40):
of love going on there. So I agree with the message, yeah,
let's love not hate. But I don't I don't see
that that that happening. So and then and on the
bad Bunny, I do speaking of Spanish that I was
picking up words that he was saying, and like, oh
my goodness, this should be bleeped out. This is an
English this wouldn't be They'd be bleeping every other word out.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
Of this thing.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
And I thought that was very pretty tasteless and very
very jockey.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
Listen.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
It'll be interesting to see what the halftime ratings were.
I know that at least on their YouTube channel, Turning
Point had an alternative show. I was watching both simultaneously
so I could talk about it. And they had over
five million people watching, which is not insignificant in any way.
And maybe between all their social media, you know, all

(20:29):
the different ways you could connect, we'll find out what
their number was in terms of people that decided to
watch an alternative halftime show.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
I don't know, you know, I I had.

Speaker 1 (20:38):
Kind of given into the idea that, you know, I
I wanted a better game. I tune in to watch
the game and halftime shows. I just don't really care
that much about anyway. So you know, at that point.
I take a break, I go make a drink, I
get some food, and you know, but I watched the

(21:00):
because I have to talk about it, and after watching it,
I don't really have much to say about it, as
not anybody that I know that really loved it.

Speaker 3 (21:06):
You know.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
The beauty about everything that you listen to or watch,
And I urge this audience always to be selective because
there's a lot of nutcases out there that now can
you know, like to portray themselves as as great influencers
that are pretty dumb and their ideas are pretty dumb

(21:27):
and in some cases toxic. Is just be selective in
what you decide to watch and don't watch. The beauty
is we live in a free country and you get
to pick and choose what you want to watch and
what you don't want to watch. Anyway, I appreciate the call, Brian.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
Eight hundred and nine foot one, Shawn. You want to
be a part of the program, Michigan Walter's next. Hey Walter,
how are you, John?

Speaker 6 (21:47):
How you doing?

Speaker 2 (21:48):
I'm good, sir. Happy Monday.

Speaker 6 (21:50):
We're in a longtime listener. Happy Monday to you too.
I do like your preference of fried French Fries rather
than ear Fried.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
I guess, of course they're better. I mean, it's not
not even a question of whether they're better. It's like
it's it's it's not even a debate.

Speaker 6 (22:05):
But I do love the way Linda says sauce. Anyhow,
I'm from dearham Boy in which neighbors with.

Speaker 2 (22:11):
All Right, how do you say sauce? Sauce? Thank you?
You say it the right way? You don't say sauce? Right?
How do you say how do you say coffee?

Speaker 6 (22:20):
Because I love the accident?

Speaker 2 (22:22):
You know, how do you say talk radio?

Speaker 3 (22:25):
Talk radio, talk.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
Radio ORFI No One New York, Detroit. You know, I
think I think you got it down pretty bad.

Speaker 6 (22:37):
I live in Dearborn Heights, which borders Dearborn, and you
know the craziness that's going on there. And I think
our Secretary of State, Jaslyn Benson has not been a
good steward of the election process. I know for a
fact that basically she has sent anybody with the driver's
license voter registration card. And I had a Middle Eastern

(22:58):
family that lived a hell down from me that needed
to have mama's driver's license renewed, and they questioned the
attendant at the Secretary of State and they said, you know,
we're not citizens. We're here legally, but we're not citizens.
And we get voter registration cards. And they were instructed
by the associated the Secretary of State that was waiting
on them that if they had voter registration cards they

(23:20):
can go and vote.

Speaker 1 (23:21):
Well, I mean, the problem is is, why would any
Democrat be against you know, the simple integrity measure of
having voter ID. Why would they be against it?

Speaker 6 (23:33):
Now?

Speaker 1 (23:34):
The only thing I can think of is they have
nefarious intentions. That's period, end of sentence. Why would you
support sanctuary cities and states? The Save Act is very
specific in what it's asking for. It wants voting integrity measures,
and I fully support them, and I think Republicans need
to get Democrats on the record not supporting it. I

(23:55):
think they should get on the record supporting sanctuary cities
and states. I think they should get off the record
being against voter ID. You know, they're on the record
voting for the largest tax increase in history. You know,
put them on the record for defund dismantle nobail laws,
defunding ice. Put them on the record for all of it.
And then we'll get to November, we'll have a big

(24:15):
choice election and hopefully Americans will wake up and show
up and go vote.

Speaker 6 (24:20):
I don't understand what they don't see and the craziness
of what's going on. But I'll tell you what. The
other thing that's a big thing going on Deer one
Heights is become totally Middle Eastern. But I'm going to
go back twenty years ago. They actually were handing out
and putting in everybody's mailbox. Carans.

Speaker 1 (24:41):
Now, my understanding is you can't legally put flyers or
brochures or any other quote, non postage paid materials directly
into mailboxes. The Postal Service regulations placing unstamped items inside
a mailbox actually as a federal offense, often referred to
as mailbox tampering, and anyway, you have to have the
proper postage, et cetera. Only authorized Postal Service personnel are

(25:06):
allowed to place those items in mailboxes. Anyway, Walter appreciate it.
We'll stay in Michigan.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
Mike. What's up, Mike? How are you talk with you?

Speaker 8 (25:14):
Just at a quick background, I've been a seventeen year
paramedic firefighter in the Michigan area. Now working corrections. So
I've seen people at their best and I've seen people
in their worst. Obviously, I've got a deep passion for
the military first responders of that kind of stuff. I
worked in an industry at a time as a medic
where I was told not to wear my uniform to
work and on duty because they were targeting. There was

(25:36):
a target on police officers, and they didn't want me
to be misconstrued as accidentally identified as a police officer
and assaulted or shot.

Speaker 5 (25:43):
And with these.

Speaker 8 (25:44):
Protesters are doing, they're targeting people based on their uniforms,
based on what they're wearing, based on what they're driving.
If you're targeting a select group, isn't that called a
hate crime? I think the actual penalties for people doing
this should be higher. The individual who went after President
Trump the attempted assassination, he got life in prison and
never fired a shot. Because it's a specialized, unique, quote

(26:08):
unquote target. Why wouldn't our first responders are military all
that kind of stuff also be a unique target and
maybe put a hate crime on these individuals who are
going after them solely based on what they look like,
what they wear, their uniforms, their dress, wouldn't that be
an angle to look at to make these penalties sting
a little bit more because there's no pushback for these

(26:30):
individuals to do what they're doing. They get arrested, they
bail out. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
I really appreciate your opinion. I'm total kick in the
pants to be able to talk to you, and I
just love to hear what your thoughts would be on
something like.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
I just think any assault on any officer, law enforcement officer,
it should always have.

Speaker 2 (26:50):
A greater penalty.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
And I think anything that you do to obstruct an
officer from doing their job or put their lives in jeopardy.
You know, even this nationwide app that they have that
tips off people that ice raids are coming, is putting
these officers' lives in jeopardy because you're taking away the
element of surprise. Whether or not the left likes it

(27:16):
or not. We have laws in this country against entering
our country illegally, and what they are advocating for is
to offer aid quote sanctuary, and with that sanctuary comes
taxpayer funded benefits, the ability to get a license, and
that ultimately could lead to the right that ultimately can

(27:40):
lead to them illegally voting, which is not good benefits
such as welfare benefits or healthcare benefits or education for
your kids taxpayer funded. You know, if you want to
know why these sanctuary cities and states without exception are
having all these fiscal problems, this is a big part

(28:00):
of their budget. It's billions and billions of taxpayer dollars
being spent that they are giving to people that didn't
respect our laws, voters and sovereignty. Again, this should be universal,
no brainer, and it's unfortunate that, you know, we we
even have to have this debate. But this is why
I'm asking everybody in this audience pay attention. And i

(28:22):
know it's only February, but I'm telling you that in
ten months from now, it's going to be voting time.
And I'm just asking that everybody making a commitment in
their heart that they're going to treat this midterm like
it's the most important midterm in their lifetime, because if
Democrats get in power, is going to be never ending,
NonStop investigation and impeachment and all progress that the president

(28:47):
you know, has been making to improve the country is
going to come to a screeching halt and it's not
going to be good for anybody anyway. Good call my
friend eight hundred and nine point one Sean if you
want to be a part of the program.

Speaker 2 (28:59):
Right, that's going to wrap thing.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
