Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey guys, welcome back. So big night in the city
of Boston tonight there's a big gallop for the Boys
and Girls Club. Lisa Dunovan and I are both going
to be there, but only one of us is being
honored this evening as like a Woman of the Year exactly.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
It's the New England Women's Leadership Awards.
Speaker 3 (00:19):
But you're right, it's Boys and Girls Clubs of Dorchester
and I'm going to be there and I'm so happy
that you're going to be there too.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
Well, I've got to be there for Lisa Dunovan. Do
I sit at Lisa Dunovan's table, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
There's definitely a table.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
It's at the Seaport, and Harmony Turner from Harvard Women's
Basketball is also being honored. She does a really great
charity called Pretty and Secure. So I'm super excited and
I'm honored to be recognized by the Boys and Girls
Clubs of Dorchester.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
And you have to deliver a speech and everything, right.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
It's a quick speech, is very quick.
Speaker 3 (00:50):
I was talking to Justin about it yesterday, so yeah,
acknowledgments and stuff like that, but no, but they're doing
it because of the work we do here on the
show Billy and Lisa in the Morning and how we
connect with our lists, but also Lisa's book club and
how much fun we've been having with that.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Now, you were honored last week by raising a reader. Yes,
and you gave a speech which made me cry. Am
I going to have to cry in front of your
children again?
Speaker 4 (01:11):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:12):
You might?
Speaker 5 (01:13):
Can somebody get a video of Uncle Bill crying.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
I'll put Riley in charge of that, please do.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Are you going to duplicate the speech or well?
Speaker 3 (01:20):
They are definitely common elements because a part of this
is the book club and what we've been doing in
the show here, so I think it's all included.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
So are you developing your own trophy shelf now? Because
I know you're bored.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
I've never won anything in my entire life. I've never
been honored.
Speaker 5 (01:38):
Well, hold on, that's not true. You have one multiple
End of the year really and Lisa show awards?
Speaker 6 (01:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:45):
Yeah, we give her anything physically for that when she
gets the award for.
Speaker 5 (01:49):
Nest every like you know. I mean, she's won the
Singing Award pretty much every years.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
True, I do have something on the.
Speaker 5 (01:58):
Show, but in regards to last weekend, this week it
is award season for you least it really is. Yeah,
this is it.
Speaker 7 (02:04):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
I got Most Improved when I was in high school
for like field hockey, and that was about it.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
Do you have that trophy?
Speaker 2 (02:10):
There was no trophy.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
Most Improved is basically saying like, you don't like, you're
not as bad as you were last year.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
Oh, it's like an acknowledgment trophy.
Speaker 6 (02:18):
Oh god, that's all I've ever got.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
You're one of the everybody gets a trophy people, Actually, no,
not anymore around.
Speaker 5 (02:29):
You're the honor now and then, and at the end
of this year you might win more awards.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
But I have to say thanks to all you guys,
and that my mom's actually flying in for this today,
so I'm excited for You.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
Know, if I were you, I'd think about everything you've
been acknowledged for over the course of your life and
go out and have a trophy made so then you
can have your own trophy shelf to rival your son's
Max and Rod.
Speaker 5 (02:50):
Yeah, Billy has Emmy awards.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
Oh you've got.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
To just played beautifully in the lighted case as soon
as you walk in. I had It's awesome. I had
an entire built in bookcase built upstairs. In the den
just so I could put the enemy trophy up. It's embarrassing,
(03:14):
I know, every day, every day. Every In fact, it's
funny you asked, because when I leave upstairs, when I
leave the area where I get ready in the morning,
after I shower and everything, there's a light switch right
outside that room that turns on the bookcase. So every morning,
when I'm on my way downstairs, I'll hit the switch,
(03:35):
even though I don't need it, so I can look
at the bookcase and then go downstairs.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Okay, you get all hyped up for the shower.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
That's my pre game. It's my pregame. Hey look at that. There,
I am there, there, I am there. Okay, showtime all.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
Right, Well, after tonight I'll have something to look at.
Speaker 5 (03:50):
Oh yeah, you got a light up case.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
Well you got a crystal bowl or something? Last week?
Speaker 2 (03:55):
I did, I did you know? Actually it was a
crystal little book.
Speaker 6 (04:00):
So cute.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
So yeah, anyway, So thanks to the Boys and Girls
Clubs of Dorchester for the acknowledgment, and we're gonna have
a lot of fun tonight with Niya Sabi. George Lisa
Hughes from Channel four WBZ TV is the host.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
So it's awesome.
Speaker 5 (04:14):
Congratulations. So does this mean that at the end of
the year we have to get rid of the talk
dirty awards?
Speaker 2 (04:21):
No, I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
It's not a good match for raising a reader.
Speaker 6 (04:25):
Yeah, those are her routes. Okay, okay with that, I.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
Can keep okay with it.
Speaker 5 (04:29):
Are you sure? Let's let's take a vote. Raise your
hand if we can keep them.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Yeah, I think it's unanimous.
Speaker 5 (04:34):
All right, here we go.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
The twelve inches is still a lot right out of
his butt cracks. If you're getting yourself wet for me,
I guess you're all mine.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Giant bush, the giant log. I always bite it.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
It's hard to get it out of your mouths. Daddy
and I had a lot of sausage stuffing bad bitch o'clock.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
It's a thick, but not too thick. You can't blow
it right into your face a glazed stick. I was
just basically DT app.
Speaker 5 (05:10):
On a rate.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
I'm so proud.
Speaker 5 (05:15):
A little bit out of context.
Speaker 1 (05:17):

Speaker 5 (05:20):
Congratulations, we did good work here, We really did. We
really alight.
Speaker 1 (05:28):

Absolutely you can find that podcast on the free iHeartRadio app.
You can search Billy and Lisa in the Morning. Take
us with you anywhere you go. We appreciate that. If
you missed it. Yesterday on the show, we had a prank.
Well I got pranked by those devils down at Jammu
ninety four to five. Well Santi specifically, he did a
week long prank where he had this little gadget that
played the smoke at sound, you know the beep when
(06:02):
when there's little batteries. He put one behind my TV
in my studio and one in my gym bags. So
I was hearing it here. Was driving me crazy. Then
at home I was changing the batteries and the smoke detector.
It was a whole thing. It took me a week
to figure it out.
Speaker 9 (06:15):
Hi, Justin, It's Kelly from Saugust. I'm down in Florida.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
Now.
Speaker 9 (06:19):
I did the same prank on my mom that Sante
did to you, But I hid the device in the
curtains in her office and I finally had to tell
her that it was me pranking her when she was
asking my dad to knock holes into the walls to find.
Speaker 10 (06:35):
The source of the beeping. It was fun.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
He was Boston. What up?
Speaker 9 (06:39):
Just Sojacat everybody gain and we're back with Billy and
Lisa in the morning.

packs before I entertainment.
Speaker 5 (06:48):
I can promise you one real quick if you missed
our topic time this morning, which, by the way, we
do every morning at seven point forty a new topic
every day that you can join in on on the discussion.
We usually stop the conversation around seven fifteen. Today's topic
was all about camping. It's the hot new trend for
young people. They want to go camping and glamping. So
that was the topic. We'll do much more of this
than the wrap up at nine forty. Yeah, but it
(07:10):
was a good conversation.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
I hate camping.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
The only kind of camping I'll ever do is at
the Four Seasons Hotel.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
But I have pitched a tent but it wasn't camping.
Speaker 5 (07:21):
Thank you. Up me here all morning.
Speaker 10 (07:23):
Now the entertainment updates with the villish Man.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
Okay, I'll be here. A Celtics waking up this morning
facing elimination A double loss. Last night, they lost to
the Nicks in New York, but they also lost Jason
Tatum to a serious leg injury. Let's go to coach
Missoula first on the Tatum and.
Speaker 7 (07:49):
Jos always worried about someone's help. So the fact that
he had to be carried off, you know, he's a
type of guy that when he gets right up. So
he didn't and you know, will know tomorrow exactly what
it is. But yeah, I mean it's tough to watch,
I know, a guy like him get carried off.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
Okay, Yeah, there's an MRI schedule for this morning meantime.
Cool thing A Knicks guard Jalen Brunson, uh with the
message for Jason Tatum.
Speaker 5 (08:13):
Prayers O the JT man.
Speaker 9 (08:14):
That's I just want to make that and say that
first and foremost thoughts and prayers with him and.
Speaker 11 (08:22):
Just praying for the best.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
Jalen Brunson good ball player.
Speaker 5 (08:26):
I do like Jalen Brunson, not just as a basketball player,
but he seems like a real humble guy. Yeah, doesn't
any very low key, very calm.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
I mean, think about a huge win in New York
in front of the hometown fans and he's thinking about
Jason Tatum. That's pretty cool.
Speaker 5 (08:40):
Well, they started the press conference going in about the
game and he interrupted him, no, no, no, wait and he
said that.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Yeah, very cool. Uh. The other Jalen on the court
last night, Jalen Brown suddenly facing elimination.
Speaker 11 (08:51):
It was terrible defensively tonight, to be frank, you know,
just no resistance. He was just too concerned. Offense was great.
Offense was We've made a lot of shots, which is
no resistance on defense.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
Game five. Back here in Boston tomorrow night. We're holding
onto the bing bongs. No big bombs this morning, big bong.

We Yeah, night, that's what he said. He was like,
we have a good team. It's not all lost yet.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
Yeah, gouts man, let's go. Uh. The celebrity count should
be high in Boston tomorrow night. Kendall and Kylie Jenner
were there last night. Timothy Shallow, May Bad, Bunny Cardi,
b Stefan Diggs. All courts eided, although I don't know
if they get the automatic green light for Celtics games
at home.
Speaker 12 (09:41):
Stephan Will because he's a Patriot, you know, the Patriots.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
Always get So we'll see Stephan Diggs and Cardi B.
Speaker 6 (09:48):
Maybe yeah, they want to be.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
We have a bet going right on whether Charlomy is
going to be in the garden tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (09:57):
Yeah at LISTA and I think he will be billion
when he's saying no chance. So we'll seeming all.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
Right, big bet for the billion LIDSA Morning Show, Big
Night at Jillett Stadium last night. Kendrick Lamar and Sizza
Kendrick welcoming the Boston crowd.
Speaker 10 (10:12):
Crown.
Speaker 6 (10:16):
This is the Plant National Tour by year faster.
Speaker 7 (10:19):

for the graduates at Northeastern University Sunday out at Fenway.
Speaker 4 (10:52):
Hope you guys now enjoyed the rural roof his cottage
and the ural road is very different.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
So m hm uh. We could be seeing a lot
of Cardi B right because she is with Stefan Diggs,
although her relationships don't seem to last very long.
Speaker 6 (11:09):
That's not true. She was with offset for years. They
have three kids together.
Speaker 1 (11:13):
Well she's off and on with Oh she's off and on.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
I get that.
Speaker 5 (11:17):
Yeah, I got you, I gotcha.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
Anyway, we'll see how that goes. Stefan Diggs now with
the Patriots, And it looks like Tyler Taylor Swift got
the subpoena we thought she would. She's being called to
as a witness by the prosecution in the Blake Lively
Justin Baldoni suit.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
I bet she's excited about that.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
I don't think so didn't divide them as friends.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
They did.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
I was saying that tongue in cheek just because Yeah,
this just seems like such a nightmare for her, Like
such a nightmare and their their friendship is definitely not
the way it used to be, No, not at all.
Speaker 12 (11:55):
Really would be like your best friend Dougie getting called
to the stand because Lisa's mad at you, right, Like
it's like what.
Speaker 6 (12:01):
Like I would be annoyed, like leave me out of
your work drama?
Speaker 1 (12:04):
Right, Yeah, that would suck.
Speaker 5 (12:05):
Yeah you think you think Dukie would sing like a
bird or I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
No good, he's loyal, So I.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Wonder what So I wonder what Taylor will do? Yeah,
I wonder.
Speaker 6 (12:16):
Yeah, well technically that you have to go what they
summoned her.
Speaker 1 (12:18):
Oh yeah, oh if you're subpoena, you're going yeah yeah.
And by the way, Taylor fans Swifties producer Riley included
expecting something big at the American Music Awards later this month.
She's been posting all kinds of teases on social media
that relate to the date, the month, and the ama am.
Speaker 6 (12:40):
Is it on the thirteenth, the thirteenth?
Speaker 1 (12:42):
You don't think it's just going to be the announcing
of a new album something lame, right, I mean, I
don't know, well she's going to perform.
Speaker 5 (12:48):
No, it could be that it could be the announcement
of the re recording of the next.
Speaker 6 (12:52):
Album Taylor's version of Taylor's version.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
Yeah, okay, yeah, yeah, this is my version of the
Entertainment Repair Away. So you know, Ariana Grande and Cynthia
Arrivo are teaming up for a live musical TV special
for NBC. And that's in advance of the sequel movie Wicked.
For good yep, that a prequel movie.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
Well, no, so there's Wicked.
Speaker 3 (13:17):
It's in two parts, So the second part's coming out
in November in theaters. And then Elfie is the prequel
book that just came out from Gregory Maguire, Who's coming
to my book club next week on Wednesday at Josson Maine.
And that's going to be turned into a movie.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
Boy, you're all over everything.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
It's amazing.
Speaker 3 (13:32):
But the great part is is that Gregory Maguire is
from Concord, Massachusetts.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
Oh I didn't know that. Yeah, and he wrote Wicked,
he did, and he's on your book club. Yes, when
is that so cool?
Speaker 2 (13:43):
Next Wednesday, the twenty first of May at justin main.
Speaker 12 (13:46):
Woll Cynthia Reba has to thank greg for like three
big movies. Oh yeah, oh exactly, career changing thing because of.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
Him for her And she was in Boston last Thursday
with the Pops right yeah, chipped off the new season
to Madonna projects supposedly on the way. There is the
rumor a to bio pic with is it Julia or
Julie Garner? Julia Garner Yeah from Ozark YEP. Supposedly going
to play Madonna.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
She would be great.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
That expressed herself era with that short you know blonde
cut that yeahs is perfect.
Speaker 6 (14:18):
I could stare her with the cone boobs totally. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
Oh yeah, I remember the cone boobs.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
Yeah yeah, that was the Jean Paul Gautier that's she
had on tour.
Speaker 6 (14:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
And there's also a Netflix project in the works, directed
by Sean Levy who directed Stranger Things, so we'll see
what happens. Neither of them have been confirmed. And just saying,
Michael Jordan just signed on for the NBA on NBC
in the fall, first time NBA is going to be
on NBC since twenty twenty two. That's a new eleven
year deal.
Speaker 6 (14:48):
Is it odd to you that he's doing that.
Speaker 12 (14:50):
He doesn't ever really comment on basketball publicly.
Speaker 1 (14:53):
It's so funny you say that, because when I saw
the report early this morning, I'm like, I wonder if
you lost a big bed gambling or something.
Speaker 5 (15:00):
Yeah, he's a big gambler, yeah, mons his net worth
is three and a half billion dollars, so he's all set,
so he's not doing it for the money.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
Yeah. And then there's Tory Lanes. He's currently doing ten
years for shooting Megan the Stallion in the Ford. I
think we all saw in that classic video getting out
of the suv uh. He was stabbed seventeen times in prison.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
He's still alive.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
Yeah, Yeah, he's.
Speaker 5 (15:28):
Waking up in a hospital this morning. His lungs collapsed.
He was on a whole breathing tube. It got taken out.
He's breathing on his own, apparently. But they tried to
take him.
Speaker 12 (15:36):
Out the head, in the back, the chest.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
That's how they do it in the camp.
Speaker 5 (15:42):
And you ever see that, You ever see what the
stabbings in prison look like?
Speaker 2 (15:46):
Oh godd, no idea.
Speaker 5 (15:48):
It could be. It could have been an in prison beef.
It could have been somebody from the outside ordering it.
I mean, who knows.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
Are you surprised didd he's never gotten attacked.
Speaker 5 (15:57):
Well, I've heard that Diddy is running things in the
Metropolitan prison.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (16:02):
I heard he has people working forums, so he's well
taken care of. I don't know if that's true, It's
just what I heard.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
I heard. He also gives money to guys to buy
their phone time so he can do and call. Oh.
One report said he was using the prison phones to
threaten potential witnesses.
Speaker 5 (16:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (16:16):
I hate to say it, but if anything that is
in that you know trial is true, he's probably loving jail.
Speaker 1 (16:23):
Well, they did have opening statements and the first testimony
in the Ditty sex crime trial yesterday. We can't even
repeat any of the testimony on the air, that's how
heavy it is.
Speaker 5 (16:36):
You can read it online.
Speaker 6 (16:37):
Yeah, but why were his teenage daughters there?
Speaker 5 (16:39):
Like, I don't know if they walked out? Yeah, they
couldn't take it.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
Now, who's their mother?
Speaker 6 (16:44):
Their mother is dead, kim porter one of them? Oh yeah,
the twins. And then he has another daughter who's around
the same ange as twins. I don't know whow my
mom is.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
Well, okay, all of this brought to you my friends
at Dover Rug. Dover Rug will come right to you.
Can you imagine this and they'll bring as many rugs
as you want so you can lay them on the
floor in your own home and get a feel for them.
And this way, yeah, you see them in place and
in your house before you have to make a decision.
(17:13):
Nobody else does that. By the way, shout out to
my buddy Hassan Hasten over it to Dover Rug. You'll
find overug in Natick, Boston and Burlington, or you know what,

The Planet Fitness Kiss one Away Studios.
Speaker 10 (17:32):
We're back with the Villy and Lisa in.
Speaker 2 (17:34):
The morning on Kiss.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
Hey guys, so welcome back, and we are into the
nine o'clock hour on the Billy and the Lisa Morning Show.
And Lisa, you have another list and this is about
the baby names that are no longer popular.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
Right, So if you're out there right now and you
are pregnant or you're going to become pregnant at some point,
you may want to take this into consideration. Because we've
always talked about the millennial names right for a long time.
It's the generation right now that's been having kids. Names
like Megan, Haley, Caitlin for girls, Marissa are no longer popular.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
Oh boy, Okay, they've fallen out of favor.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
Okay, so the new baby names.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
Are names like Emma Olivia are definitely still top of
the list.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
But Alexis, Alissa.
Speaker 3 (18:22):
Lauren, Taylor, Kayla, Caitlin, like I said, Megan are off
the list.
Speaker 5 (18:27):
Now, those are all girls that I grew up with.
I know, right, I know every one of those names.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
I know so many. Haley's Haley.
Speaker 5 (18:35):
Yeah, that's another one.
Speaker 2 (18:36):
So and I have something for Justin here. So Justin
used to be on the list.
Speaker 3 (18:41):
It was number thirty six, okay, as one of the
most popular boy names. Now it's down to one hundred
and eighty five on the list. It's not dropped that much.
Speaker 5 (18:51):
It's like a five times drop.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
What about Billy that's probably been burned.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
Okay, Billy isn't even on thee nobody's been named Billy.
Speaker 5 (19:00):
And now they know they do. Billy is still possible, or.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
The Ozarks or something tallahassee.
Speaker 5 (19:09):
Billy's like Mike. I feel like William and Michael.
Speaker 12 (19:12):
I know too, like ten year old Williams really will Yeah,
well their dad.
Speaker 6 (19:17):
And one of them his dad's Bill and he's will.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
I think Billy's big among swamp people.
Speaker 5 (19:22):
No, you could have been Willie. That would have been good.
Speaker 3 (19:25):
Lisa isn't really that popular there, But then I was
hoping like Lisa from Black Pink.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
Maybe that was rolling again Yeah, yeah, but not so much.
Speaker 1 (19:32):
I have a weird name story. So both my mom
and dad were named Francis.
Speaker 6 (19:39):
I know, it's so funny.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
Yeah, Frank and Fran both Francis, right, My son. Dylan's
middle name is Dylan Francis right, what are the odds
of this? All three of my sons were born in
a hospital on Francis Street.
Speaker 5 (19:55):
Okay, And your brother's name also francis fran and he
has a son.
Speaker 1 (20:01):
My nephew buddies name is Frank and he has a son,
and basically Francis is Frank.
Speaker 3 (20:10):
On the last Frank is not on the list. Yeah, no,
didn't make it. But I have to say, you know,
josh Joshua used to be number three. It's now down
to number sixty. So these things are not popular anymore,
these names.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
Is there a new number one? Well?
Speaker 2 (20:27):
I was just going over the names that are.
Speaker 5 (20:28):
Not Yeah, these are the drop off names.
Speaker 2 (20:31):
Drop off names.
Speaker 5 (20:32):
It's interesting that Lisa though that Emma and Olivia are
still popular, but all those other girl names are not.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
Are not right?
Speaker 3 (20:38):
And on the boys top ten, Liam is still really
popular and Noah is still.
Speaker 6 (20:43):
Really which Liam is a former William.
Speaker 12 (20:46):
It's like the Gaelic version. Oh really, think about l
I am William?
Speaker 5 (20:52):
Oh, I didn't know that.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
Even if you just made that up, it's still pretty sure.
Speaker 5 (20:55):
It's you're pretty confident.
Speaker 2 (20:58):
I would take it.
Speaker 5 (20:59):
Ye is one of the new popular names. My my
son ables best friend is named Liam, so that's popular.
Speaker 6 (21:04):
Like I like.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
Riley, Yeah, I like it for a boy and a girl.
Speaker 5 (21:09):
Yeah, well Riley's with a wy producer. Riley's with You
misspelled her name in your book. You gave her a
special shout out in your cookbook and you misspelled her.
Speaker 1 (21:18):
She never told me. Yeah, really, nobody knows how to
spell her Riley.
Speaker 6 (21:23):
It's r y l e y.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
That's ridiculously Why Riley as r I L e y, of.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
Course it is. That makes sense to me. Well, they
name makes no sense.
Speaker 5 (21:33):
Well, they do things with the spelling, Like I grew
up with a girl named Justin and it was j
U s.
Speaker 2 (21:37):
T y n Oh, that's cute.
Speaker 1 (21:39):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
See I like boy names for girls, like I think
Billy b I L L I E for a girl
is really cute.
Speaker 6 (21:47):
I think Bobby is cute too.
Speaker 12 (21:48):
Yes, And my parents are Tony and Anne, and I've
always thought about Tony Ann, but you're your daughter.
Speaker 1 (21:54):
She is Tony down there in del Rey, Isn't it weird?
Speaker 5 (21:58):
Names like Robert can be Bobby, rob Robbie or Robert
ye or Bert or Bert.
Speaker 1 (22:06):
Okay, or if you're sticking with that William Liam philosophy. Yeah,
you ever could be.
Speaker 6 (22:12):
Bert and then Henry is Hank.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
You know one thing weird about naming a baby, you know,
when you think back least, Yeah, that's a big deal, right,
I mean I never looked at baby name books. A
lot of people give that as a gift if somebody
in the family's pregnant. Oh, I got your baby name book.
But something always upset me about the time you name
your child. There's always one annoying relative. In my case,
(22:39):
my brother, you know, he says, so, what are you
gonna name him? And you say, well, it's Christopher. He said, oh,
how can you name him Christopher? Okay, this is gonna
be your nephew for the and I will remind my
son every time we're around you that you told me
his name was disgusting.
Speaker 3 (22:56):
That's why I never told anyone what we were naming
the kids, because I didn't want.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
To keep your mouth shut. If somebody's naming their child,
let them name their child whatever they want. And you
know who you are.
Speaker 5 (23:07):
Yeah, oh yeah, a lot of people do. My brother
is having a baby today, Why they won't tell me?
Speaker 6 (23:16):
I wouldn't tell you either.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
He's one of those guys.
Speaker 2 (23:20):
Do they know the sex of the baby.
Speaker 5 (23:22):
No, they're waiting a big deal.
Speaker 6 (23:24):
What's your son's name?
Speaker 1 (23:25):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (23:26):
Jay is their first son's Jay and they have a
C section.
Speaker 1 (23:30):
Yeah, how about this? My brother made fun of my son,
Christopher's name, and then he names his kid Mario. Okay,
you're not from Rome Mario?
Speaker 6 (23:41):
Where it's Mario?
Speaker 1 (23:43):
Where she did a question? Who was Mario? Did he disappear?
Speaker 6 (23:46):
He has a son? I thought his friend some name
is Frank.
Speaker 1 (23:49):
No, no, buddies real, No, there's a Mario somewhere like
the middle name of confirmation name. Like I'm like, okay,
you name somebody Mario. You're making fun of Chris? Okay
to me?
Speaker 6 (24:06):
Kissed.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
So this just into the Billy and Lisa newsroom. We
have breaking news. They canceled today's session of Karen Reid
trial minutes before it was about to begin, for what
they say.
Speaker 2 (24:17):
Are unavoidable circumstances.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
Yeah, what's that.
Speaker 6 (24:20):
About, mister Costa? Ask it differently?
Speaker 1 (24:24):
Okay, what do you think is going on?
Speaker 2 (24:25):
Sickness?
Speaker 3 (24:26):
Maybe someone got into an accident, someone who has to
be there, like Judge Bev or yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:31):
I mean my question is if Karen Reid gets sick,
what happens?
Speaker 5 (24:34):
Oh does she have to be in court?
Speaker 6 (24:37):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (24:37):
I don't think so.
Speaker 12 (24:38):
I think for due process, yes, like she's has to
be afforded the right.
Speaker 1 (24:43):
To be there.
Speaker 5 (24:43):
I know that the court cases do go on even
if the inmate I mean that the person can't.
Speaker 6 (24:49):
Be there, you know that.
Speaker 1 (24:50):
Yeah? Wow, well who knows better. He's been in more
court rooms if you can count.
Speaker 5 (24:56):
Yeah, but not one in sixteen years.
Speaker 1 (24:57):
So that's how that is. One day at a time, bro.
Speaker 5 (25:00):
Yeah, we just had a conversation about these baby names
that are no longer popular, which actually was a little
bit surprising, but so more and show.
Speaker 9 (25:07):
I just want to say, Riley is a very popular name.
Speaker 11 (25:11):
That's my daughter's name.
Speaker 6 (25:13):
She's six years old.
Speaker 7 (25:15):
R I L E y though.
Speaker 11 (25:17):
Shout out to pictures ser Riley if they have in
the same name as my daughter.
Speaker 1 (25:20):
Yeah, Ray, is your dad a heavy drinker or something?
Maybe when they picked the name spelled when they had
to spell it in the dock the document in the hospital.
Speaker 3 (25:28):
Oh, don't listen him. I love the way you spell Riley.
It's unique.
Speaker 5 (25:33):
Yeah, you stand out.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
It is more gurly now that I think of it.
Speaker 5 (25:37):
And by the way, Bill, you got you got ten
thousand Francs in your family.
Speaker 6 (25:40):
Yes, seriously, can we find another name?
Speaker 1 (25:42):
Hello?
Speaker 13 (25:43):
I just want to make a comment about frank because
my husband is a third and we've been contemplating if
we should name one of our children frank before. But
neither of us can look at a baby with the
name Frank, So we're deciding to do Francesca and call
her Frankie as kind of an ode to his dad
and grandfather. So I thought that was kind of a
(26:04):
cool way, because I don't know, like you said, there's
just not many babies named frank these days.
Speaker 2 (26:11):
I love that. I love Francesca. I love Frankie. That's
so cute.
Speaker 6 (26:15):
Francesca is cute. Yeah, pretty Francesca.
Speaker 5 (26:18):
That was my grandmother's name. That just passed Francesca. Yeah,
it's a it's a beautiful name.
Speaker 8 (26:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (26:24):
Remember about three years ago when Billy Costa went off
about how he hated his name and wanted to be
called Hunter. Yes, I do, because I had had a
baby and it named him Billy and was in the
car with him and had just previously been thinking fondly
of all the famous Bills. I could think of Billy
cost to being one of them.
Speaker 6 (26:42):
But then he went off and said he wishes he
were a Hunter and not a Bill.
Speaker 4 (26:46):
But now I have a beautiful baby Billy, and he's
such a billy, such a billy.
Speaker 5 (26:51):
Yeah, I remember that you were going off about.
Speaker 1 (26:55):
Name.
Speaker 12 (26:57):
Oscar is not a My cousin's kid's name is Gunner.
Speaker 1 (27:02):
Gunner. You know, Gunner is very preppy. Like, I don't
see your family is preppy.
Speaker 6 (27:08):
I mean it's my cousin.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
Hunter's very preppy.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
I know.
Speaker 4 (27:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
Gunner though, whoa boy? Gunners like the backup quarterback in
school that never he still talks about the one, the
one down he was in for.
Speaker 5 (27:23):
I feel like I feel like Gunner is a criminal name.
That's just me.
Speaker 13 (27:28):
You know.
Speaker 6 (27:28):
He's a nice kids across he's like fifteen.
Speaker 5 (27:31):
All right, Well, just one question, where's Hunter?
Speaker 6 (27:35):
Kids? Unaway?
Speaker 2 (27:36):
It's the morning wrap up on Billy and Lisa in

Pretty cool. Our topic time this morning was all about
camping because Lisa had a story that camping is the
big trend in twenty twenty five, especially for young people.
We're kind of not really that sold on it ourselves.
Speaker 6 (28:57):
My husband and I.
Speaker 8 (28:58):
Were staying in an RV park and for work, and
I was by myself. There was torrential flooding. I had
to tear down the trailer all by myself, clear out
the septic lines all in the rain. Turns out when
it rains, septic systems come up and flood the ground.
So I had my own shashing redemption moment and where
(29:18):
I was covered in human waste.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
Happy camp.
Speaker 6 (29:24):
Horrific?
Speaker 5 (29:25):
Yeah, yeah, what's worse than that?
Speaker 14 (29:27):
I was camping in Hawaii, beautiful black sand beach and
once the night came there were cockroaches everywhere the size
of beer camp And we started to make a fire
and a scorpion crawled out of the log. I slept
sitting up all night.
Speaker 11 (29:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
Sounds like a nightmare.
Speaker 1 (29:47):
Yeah, and it can be.
Speaker 13 (29:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (29:49):
Yeah, happy camping everybody, When are your camper now not
at all?
Speaker 6 (29:53):
A motala is as lull as I'll go.
Speaker 5 (29:55):
All right.
Speaker 10 (29:55):
When he said she's not into camping, but what's the
difference between sleeping in the back of a truck and
sleeping in an RV.
Speaker 6 (30:03):
All right, there wasn't sleeping going on for a whole.
Speaker 5 (30:09):
What's the what's the expiration date on talking about Whinnie's
truck or date if you missed it earlier this hour
we had a list, So Lisa had a list of
baby names that are not so popular these days.
Speaker 15 (30:25):
Good morning. When I had my daughter, I was in
the hospital after a c section and an infection, and
I was very delicate, and my mother said, what are
you going to name your daughter? What are you going
to name the baby? And I said, what do you
think about the name Lila? And she literally made a face. Well,
I named Jelilah anyway, Now my mom loves it, but
(30:46):
I was so crushed the face she made. I wish
I could chill you.
Speaker 6 (30:52):
Lilah is my grandmother and my niece.
Speaker 5 (30:54):
I like that name. But that same thing happened to
me with my mom my son. Abel. She made the
same face. Now she loves it, and she's apologized. Whence
she first started, She's.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
Like, what yeh see those people are out there, Abel,
you talking about Yeah, what's well?
Speaker 10 (31:09):
No one's mentioned the name Karen after twenty twenty. It's
probably hands down one of the worst names to have.
Speaker 5 (31:20):
Yeah, the poor Karen's did they didn't do anything, They
didn't you know. Now we're weaponizing the name Karen. I mean,
we do it. I'm guilty of it. Yeah, you know.
But oh anyway, speaking.
Speaker 3 (31:30):
Of Karen's, today is my day off, and I was
so excited to just sit down, do some laundry, clean
the house, and listen to Karen Reid trial.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
What the heck happened?
Speaker 5 (31:40):
Yeah, we gotta get we gotta get someone on this case.
Speaker 1 (31:43):
All right, Moni crew, Captain Mike's on the case. What
did you do to Auntie Bev Yesterday?
Speaker 4 (31:49):
Testimony has been canceled today without explanation.
Speaker 1 (31:52):
I need to get to the bottom of this step.
We gotta make a room for the mighty McKay. He's
just steps away from the studio, So swing open the doors.
