Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now best morning show in Boston.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 1 (00:04):
It's just a great start to my day on Kids
one eight.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Well, good morning everybody, and welcome into the Billy and
Lisa Morning Show on a Friday, and it is justin
If I'm not mistaken, it is and always is new
music Friday. So we'll get to world premiere the new
Lady Gaga this morning. What time.

Speaker 4 (00:24):
We'll have a clip of it in your Entertainment Report
at six point forty, but the full song seven fifteen,
and I gotta say it's it's vintage Gaga. It's very bad,
romance sounding, you know, twenty ten.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
Oh, I love that romance.

Speaker 4 (00:37):
Yeah, if you're looking for a dance Lady Gaga song,
this is it.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
Let's dance and this morning we gotta get up and dance.
Seven fifteen. We'll play it for the first time. And
I think we'll hear from Lady Gaga on the new
song if I'm not mistaken.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
Yeah, she is saying that she's never sung like this before.
However that means okay, I think she's been singing the
same since she came out right lazy.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Well, well, we'll see for ourselves and.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Here we are the start of Halloween weekend. Now I
know Halloween is next Thursday. In fact, it's going to
be in the upper seventies, maybe a new record on Halloween.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
So definitely for trigger treating.

Speaker 5 (01:13):
But parties definitely this weekend and probably parties next week.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Technically you could do both.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Absolutely, let's go. I'm actually hosting a big party tomorrow night,
the Wicked Night Ball at the Salem Waterfront Hotel.

Speaker 5 (01:27):
Okay, So every year you complain about dressing up. Are
you and Michelle dressing up as a couple this year?

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Well, it kind of happened automatically. You know. When we
went on Safari. She bought me a bunch of Safari
clothes and I looked like an idiot for the entire
trip in Africa. So now I have to wear the
Safari clothes and she's going to be dressed as a lion.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Oh yeah, like her little lion teamer. Wow.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
A couple of costumes.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
So this man went to the fancy costume ball.

Speaker 6 (01:57):
And he had just a girl on his back and
he'd come as a snail.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
He said, friends, what do you what I mean? He
came as a snail? All you got it?

Speaker 4 (02:06):
This girl on your back.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
He said, it's not just a girl, that's Michelle.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Yeah, yeah, come on, you get that? Yeah? Oh man.
So yeah, a lot of things happening around to Halloween. Hey, speaking,
this is so weird. Speaking of the Salem Waterfront Hotel,
they were featured on Wheel of Fortune last night. That
is so cool. It was on the prize wheel.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Oh my god. I love that for them, But they
get away.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Did they know that this was coming?

Speaker 3 (02:37):
I don't know, because I got a text from Mike Rockett,
who owns the hotel, last night, and he said, hey,
we made it to Wheel of Fortune, and I responded
by saying what. And I never got it until I
got in this morning and realized that Ryan Seacrest had
it on the prize wheel. So we're going to get
Rocket on the phone. See how that happened. How do
you get that on the Wheel of Fortune?

Speaker 1 (02:56):
You just give him the prize bill.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
They take the prize, really, but I'm sure everybody offers
them prizes.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
I don't know how it works.

Speaker 7 (03:03):
It's definitely a marketing tool behind it that they go
out and get prizing.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
Yeah, Salem, you know this is they were just voted
the number one Halloween spot. It makes sense.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Yeah, that is haunted happenings going on. Just I guess
it's over after this weekend. It's the entire month of.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
Only that we talk about it all the time. To
book a room in Salem, but especially the Salem Waterfront Hotel,
it's like two years in advance.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Yeah, for any time the month of October. Yeah, two
years in advance, prize book it. So that's going on
the World Series starts tonight Game one and Los Angeles
Yankees don whoa.

Speaker 7 (03:35):
So that means it's going to go into November because
it's it's already the twenty.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
Fifth Yeah, cool, maybe a couple of days in Yeah, yeah,
that's good, Big one.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
There's nothing more painful than when you take a pitch
inside and when you're holding the bat and you follow
it off and you just get this cracking feeling through
your hands. It's like because of the cold. There's nothing
like it.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Thanks, Big Poppy.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
It really hurts your.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Experience in post October play.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Yeah, you had a big day yesterday.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Oh wow? Yeah, yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 7 (04:10):
It was a slow news day if TMZ and Daily Mail.
I want to talk about Winnie Corey, there's nothing going on.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Yeah, so, and.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
Jordan never responded, Yeah, there's no updates.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Yeah, there's not.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
She did respond. She did respond to me. Oh, she
responded at ten oh one am, one minute after the
show ended, and said, I missed the discussion. Are you
still on the air? And I said, well, we're not,
but tomorrow morning we are, and we invite you again
to come on with us. And she read it and
did not respond.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Okay, I think Big Bill told her no.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
Well, she did post a picture on our instagram of
Bill Belichick with a little guy what do you call that?

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Bear claw?

Speaker 4 (04:46):
Bear claw, saying don't mess, don't poke the bear, and
then she added the s.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
You think that might have been just a random picture
of Bill that she.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
Just now she said, Bill throw on the shirt. Okay,
we're in the kitchen last night, and I.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Love that for her. She has a man, good for her.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
Well, we just want to be very clear as a
show that we support cheerleading. Yes, you know it's Winnie
versus Jordan. The challenge was Winny to go and tumble
or do something try out.

Speaker 7 (05:14):
Yeah, I just want to say that too, like I
don't I think my one off joke got taken way
too out of context, like I was attacking everyone that
ever cheerleader in their entire life, and I respect anyone
that does any sport. I think where I caught a little.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
Obviously, there's been a lot of comments and I haven't
really read ninety five percent of them.

Speaker 7 (05:31):
But yeah, but I think the the harping on it
is that like I couldn't do something because of like
my body type of woman.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
That's not from Jordan, that's from like the general public.

Speaker 7 (05:41):
And I just want to say that I think I
stuck to my gun yesterday because I don't want anyone
to think that they can't do something based off their
body size, because there's plenty of girls that want a
cheerlead that don't necessarily fit a typical cheerleading aesthetic. And
I think that it's important there's a spot on you
for you and someone's team. And I think if you
can train, I can't do it because I've never trained

(06:02):
for it, But if you put the work in and
you train to do these things, you can do it
too well.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
I think it's well documented on this show. I watch
cheerleading competition as a grown man. I watch cheerleading competition.

Speaker 4 (06:14):
Yeah, thanks you do.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
I may actually dress as a cheerleader.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
That was actually the highlight for me yesterday was that
little clip right there from you.

Speaker 8 (06:21):
You know.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
So anyway, Yeah, we put a ball on it and
we move on.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
Yeah, and we're coming up on entertainment. This is a
big story. The Menendez brothers will have a re sentencing hearing,
which means they could be out of prison by the
end of November. That's a little optimistic, but that's a
big story this morning. And we've got that more coming
up next.

Speaker 9 (06:41):
And by us from the Planet Fitness Kiss one O
eight Studios.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
We're back with Villie and Lisa in the morning on Kiss.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Hey guys, so welcome back. Here we go. It's a Friday.
It's the start of kind of Halloween weekend. There's the
weekend where a lot of people have their Halloween parties.
Justin you want to start off with a couple of talkbacks.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
Yeah, if you're looking for a costume for Halloween weekend,
you're in luck.

Speaker 10 (07:06):
Good morning, it's the Mayor of the South End. I
have a fun thing to do this weekend. The American
Repertory Theater is having a costume Seal Friday and Saturday
from ten to five, So you can go over there
and you can pick up, you know, a costume from
one of the shows and wear it out for Halloween.
And it's at one fifty five Fossett Street in Cambridge.

(07:28):
And I have one more thing to say, Happy Halloween.
And I love cheerleaders.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Now the entertainment updates with the Billy Codstead.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
You know what's funny, I heard MoU dang the baby Hippo.
That's one of the big costumes of the year the show.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Oh my god, that's funny. Love that actually is really
cool that you can get a costume like that.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
Yeah, and you know what else is going to be
a big costume this weekend is the Menendez Brothers.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Yes, I think so. I think you'll see that.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
And there was a big break in the story yesterday.
They could be getting out of prison early. The DA
yesterday said there will be a resentencing here.

Speaker 11 (08:04):
I just think that given the current state it all all,
and given our assessment or behavior in person, they deserved
the opportunity to be reevaluated and perhaps reintegrator into the community.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
Yeah, So the idea of resentencing now goes before a
judge for approval. It could take a while, but there's
a chance they could be out before the end of
the year and maybe before Thanksgiving.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
It's so hard to imagine doing that much time in
prison and then coming out. I mean, think of it
long ago they went away in thirty years plus.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
They were model prisoners.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
Yeah, that counts for something, it does.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
They really did good work in there. They helped people.

Speaker 5 (08:43):
They yeah, they spoke out against sexual you know, violence.

Speaker 4 (08:48):
Or because you know, life no parole. They feel like
that was, you know, kind of an unfair sentence. So
you know, if they switch it up, you know, to
a life sentence, then they go by you know, how
you behaved and you know the length of times.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
So and the father was a monster. Yeah, and now
there's a report he may have sexually abused and assaulted
one of the guys from Manuda.

Speaker 5 (09:07):
Well that's sort of what tipped this off to the
DA was that new evidence.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
Yeah, wasn't Ricky Martin and Manuda?

Speaker 8 (09:14):
Yea, he was.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
Hey, it's new Music Friday and Justin let's get right
into well let's go.

Speaker 4 (09:20):
Yeah, we'll kick off with Halsey share her new album
is out. It's called The Great impersonator. We've heard some
of it, and I love you guys follow Halsey on Instagram,
but she's been doing this really cool rollout where every
day she posts like a classic album cover, but then
she posted to cover and then her as the cover
to get it the great impersonatity. Anyway, one of the
songs from the new album that's out today, it's called

(09:42):
Panic Attack, and I think one of the things you
have to remember when you listen to this album is
this is her coming off of almost losing her life, right,
you know, really serious health battles.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
And I heard there are eighteen tracks on the album.
Is that a lot? It seems like a lot to me.

Speaker 4 (10:09):
I know, usually they're around ten. Yeah, you know, it's
kind of an old school thing, a long, long album,
a lot of tracks. Fluoradic did our jingle ball last year?
We love him. He just makes good dance music. And
here he is back with a new one. It's called
When I Grow Up.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
Up, I'm gonna be like me, can't tell.

Speaker 5 (10:28):
Me nothing, be.

Speaker 8 (10:32):
There we go.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
I want to wait for it.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
Yeah, three four.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
It's the same song.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
It's great.

Speaker 12 (10:44):
Hey, you know what he knows what works and that's
it's a formula.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
Yeah, you're doing one of those childish rhymes in this one,
and you say it's like childish rhymes.

Speaker 4 (10:52):
Hey, that one's called when I Grow up. I'll be
listening to that all weekend long. And finally, the new
Lady Gaga singles out. We'll have the entire song at
seven fifteen. It is New Music Friday. The first single,
it's called Disease, and Lady Gaga saying she has never
sung like this before.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
Oh well, when I.

Speaker 13 (11:10):
Went into the studio to record my seventh studio album,
you know, I wasn't thinking at all about creating a character.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
In a film.

Speaker 13 (11:19):
I was just thinking about what music I wanted to
make next. And I just sang with like everything in
my body in a really unique way. I think my
singing on LG seven is actually really different than anything
I've done before.

Speaker 4 (11:34):
I think it's vintage Gaga, think two thousand and nine,
twenty ten, bad Romance. It's called Disease.

Speaker 3 (11:59):
LG seven.

Speaker 4 (12:00):
Baby, you'll hear the full song seven fifteen this morning.

Speaker 7 (12:03):
I think it's gonna be a radio hit. It sounds
like a radio had Are you.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
Saying I didn't say I like it?

Speaker 3 (12:09):
I just said it.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
Could be, would be a y I could know whatever
it is.

Speaker 3 (12:12):
I agree, Yeah, don't forget that. By the way, good job. Buddy.
Shakira comes to Fenway Park May twenty ninth of next year.
Tickets go on sale this morning. Can we get some
Shakira in here?

Speaker 12 (12:29):
Thank you?

Speaker 1 (12:33):
I'm starting to get Let's go.

Speaker 4 (12:36):
Yes, see fee a lot of moving and shaking at
that show.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
Yeah, I don't lie, baby, let's go. Salem State University
now offering a course on Taylor Swift. Why not everybody else? Is?
It's an iconic career or meteoric rise, her songwriting, her
impact on culture and people like producer Riley huge impact anyway.

(13:01):
Salem State now the latest university to offer Taylor Swift.
As of course, Zane Malick is resuming his tour sooner
than expected. Says he'll be back on the road early
in November. He took a break after Liam Payne's death.
Has he been buried yet?

Speaker 1 (13:17):
No, there's no where.

Speaker 7 (13:18):
I mean, they were doing death investigations obviously, and his
dad's still in Argentina, someone with his body in Argentina,
and then they'll probably bring him back to England at
some point.

Speaker 3 (13:27):
It takes a while with these investigations, it looks like
Lewis Capali or a buddy might be coming back a
new album, new tour. Possibly. He was spotted in a
London pub looking good, sounding, optimistic, and remember he left
music because of Tourette's Can I get.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
Some You're in a real music mood today.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
In the new pother I was getting kind of used
to be so.

Speaker 4 (13:58):
Yeah, you know, you know he took the break from you.
But I gotta say that video from I think last
year of the year before where he's at the festival, Yeah,
and he's doing that song and he starts, you know,
his turette starts, ticks come in and he can't sing,
and then the crowd thousands took over and sang it
for him. I get chills thinking about it. Yeah, it's
one of the greatest videos I've ever watched.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
And he's such a nice guy. Fun you guys interview
him and his dressing.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
Oh, it was one of the greatest interviews of all time.
Started like singing songs.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
I know you want me, I know you won't me,
you know I want yeah, you know what he was
looking for, what's going on?

Speaker 7 (14:33):
He had his laugh in the whole time and he
was super super nicely.

Speaker 4 (14:37):
Oh one more thing to add to that after the interview,
when he and I walk out into Lansdowne Street and
so we're walking, all the people are outside lined up
for a show, and we look up and he's in
the window of his dressing room and it's open. So
we look up and I wave, and he sees us,
and he comes over and he waves, and then everyone
in the in the street sees him and they start
gathering and he's waving and then he lifts up his
shirt and does the truffle shuffle.

Speaker 3 (14:59):
Fun guy, nice guy.

Speaker 8 (15:01):
Hey.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
Rihanna hasn't had a new album in ten years, says
if she were to collaborate with anybody, it would be
Billy Eilish.

Speaker 10 (15:09):
If I could only do a song with Billy Eilish,
She's so good.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
That would be make to do it.

Speaker 5 (15:15):
Yeah, yeah, come on, come on, Billy re saying, and
I'm sure Billy would do it.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
Yeah, No, it's no line.

Speaker 9 (15:24):
No.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
Celtics had their first road game last night. They beat
the Wizards one twenty two one two. Last night, Jalen
Brown celebrating his birthday with twenty seven points Bruins have
lost three straight. They lost to the Stars last night,
five to.

Speaker 4 (15:38):
Not going so long?

Speaker 7 (15:39):
Right, it's a long season, right, very long, from like
October to June.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
Oh man, it is a grind World Series game one
tonight Dodgers and Yankees in Los Angeles. Don't forget. Patriots
played the Jets Aaron Rodgers and the Jets on Sunday
and again last night on Wheel of Fortune with Ryan.
Secret to the Salem Waterfront Hotel was a featured prize
apparently eight thousand dollars value.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
Oh wow, is it for next Halloween?

Speaker 3 (16:08):
I have a jet or something? Anyway, We're going to
talk with Mike Rockett. I got a text him as
soon as we're done here.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
You didn't text them yet? Not yet? Are you teasing
it without see confirmed?

Speaker 3 (16:17):
Because he's up earlier every morning.

Speaker 7 (16:19):
You can't let Billy produce the show because he'll just
say we're doing something and never confirm with anybody.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
You're going to take that back when I have rocket
on seven ten this morning and were brought to you
by Post nineteen seventeen Steakhouse. Discover a unique fine dining
experience at the New Post nineteen seventeen steakhouse and reading

there you go. Hello sous Capaldi, And you're listening to
Belly and Lisa and the Morning on KESS one a week.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
From the Planet Fitness Kid Studios. We're back with Billy
and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
Hey guys, welcome back. It's the Billy and Lisa Morning Show.
And the jingle Ball Jackpot is alive. We've got a
pair of tickets right now for the jingle Ball six one, seven, nine, three,
one eighth. The number to call you'll need the keyword,
of course, and the keyword producer Riley is wheel. Wheel
is the keyword. And for good reason. If you were

(17:26):
watching Wheel of Fortune last night with our buddy Ryan Seacrest,
you may have noticed that Salem and the Salem Waterfront
Hotel were up on the prize wheel and I couldn't
believe it. And we've got the owner of the Salem
Waterfront Hotel, Mike Rockett on the phone right now. Good morning, Rake,
I'm doing fine. So I got a weird text from

(17:48):
you last night. You said, hey, we made it to
the Wheel of Fortune tonight, and I'm like, what's Mike
talking about? And then I noticed precisely, So, how did
you get your hotel on the prize wheel and Wheel
of Fortune?

Speaker 6 (18:07):
They did, like twenty fifteen. They came to us and
they wanted us to a package with the city Asalem.
So the wheel came to us about.

Speaker 4 (18:15):

Speaker 6 (18:16):
It takes a long time to put together, but they
did in twenty fourteen. They want that and first one
last night again.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
Wow, So they actually contacted the hotel directly, but it
took a while though to get it on the show.

Speaker 6 (18:31):
It takes a full year by the time they get
everything squared away and sign all the paperwork. You know
what it's like.

Speaker 3 (18:37):
So what's in the package?

Speaker 6 (18:39):
So it's flights obviously, transportation, hotel for a week, food,
and every single museum I think in the city of Salem.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
And yeah, yeah, by the way, Sala Massa Jusetts chosen
as the number one Halloween destination.

Speaker 6 (18:56):
Buddy, I mean yeah, well you know you lived there.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
Yeah, I certainly did until you kick me out, but
well you didn't pay your rent.

Speaker 4 (19:06):
Happened.

Speaker 6 (19:07):
We still have a bill that's unsettled.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
So yeah, there's still a pub bill on. I could
take care of that this weekend because tomorrow night you've
got the big wicket ball, even.

Speaker 6 (19:17):
Though it's not still in existence, there's one live debt
left with that with the Regatta Pub.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
You know what we should think ceremonial will tear it
up tomorrow night and tear up the tab h So
what happens at Wicked Night Tomorrow night? I know the
hotel is all newly renovated. What's going on tomorrow night?
I think there are still a few tickets.

Speaker 6 (19:37):
Oh, there is a few tickets left. It's amazing. Alreays
set up the test of the smoke machines. It's going
to be pretty intense, pretty crazy. So and the actors
and I got to see some of the dress rehearsal.

Speaker 4 (19:49):
This is the real deal.

Speaker 8 (19:50):
It's a big production.

Speaker 3 (19:51):
Yeah, it's a lot of fun. How do they get
their tickets? Because I'm going to be there, I'm going
to be hosting again, So how do they.

Speaker 4 (19:56):
Get their tickets?

Speaker 6 (19:58):
Hotel dot com.

Speaker 3 (20:00):
And By the way, don't think I forgot that. This
weekend is yours and Tricia's thirty four year wedding end
of us. Oh can you believe it?

Speaker 1 (20:09):
Wow?

Speaker 3 (20:10):
Thirty four Yeah, Mike.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
For thirty four years.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
Holy Moses, Mike, am I allowed to say you forgot?

Speaker 2 (20:19):
I forgot.

Speaker 6 (20:21):
My first wedding, had it inside and the days there,
and this one doesn't. So I was reminded by someone today.

Speaker 4 (20:29):
So oh boy, yes today.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
Okay, Well, thank you guys, and we'll see you tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (20:37):
Night.

Speaker 8 (20:38):
Billy, what are you going to come out again?

Speaker 3 (20:39):

Anyway, coming up next, we'll be talking about Halloween. It's
Halloween weekend. What are your plans, what are you doing?
What are you dressing up as? Crazy Halloween stories? All
that fun stuff. But right now it is New Music Friday,
highly anticipated new Lady Gaga. This is called Disease New
Music Friday on Kiss.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
One Billy and Lisa Kiss one Away.

Speaker 3 (22:03):
Okay, so we're coming up on Halloween weekend. I know
Halloween officially is next Thursday, but a lot of parties
and events are going on all weekend. We just talked
about the weekend night ball at the Salem Water and Hotel.
You can't lose in Salem on Halloween. I mean it's
tough getting in that. They encourage you to leave the
car home, take the tee, take the ferry. The Salem
Ferry takes you right out of Boston, right to downtown Salem.

(22:26):
But there's a bunch of other stuff going on. This
is gonna be cool. Fenway Park tomorrow at three thirty
is showing the Beetlejuice movie.

Speaker 4 (22:33):
That's cool. That is something you bring the kids to. Yeah, yeah,
my son is just getting into Beetlejuice. Nothing new on
the original one. Yeah, that would be a super cool
And it's Fenway Park.

Speaker 5 (22:41):
Well, they're doing free tricker treating on the warning track
from three thirty to six, and then you can go
see the movie.

Speaker 3 (22:46):
Well free tricker treating. They'll have some good candy too.
Oh yeah. Also Sunday, Woburn has a giant Halloween party
every single year, so that's kicking off Sunday. And there's
a place in Charlestown that's getting a lot of TV coverage,
local TV coverage called haunt Fest. I didn't even know.
I'm in Charlestown every day of my life, and I
didn't even know Hawntfest was there, but you got to go. Yeah,

(23:09):
apparently it's a great place.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
You know the haunted houses. Oh really really yeah, I
am My life is haunted.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
That was my whole childhood, was going to haunted houses.

Speaker 4 (23:22):
We still go Spooky World, which is when he went
with me one year.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
Yeah, it was fine.

Speaker 4 (23:26):
I love yeah, Barrett. There's so many good ones.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
Yeah, a lot of people like the hay rides. Yeah. No,
Halloween's great and everybody's going to be having fun this weekend,
which leads us to the question crazy Halloween stories. Do
you have any crazy Halloween stories things that may have
happened to you, Lisa, You've got a pretty good one.

Speaker 5 (23:45):
I was talking to these guys off the air and
when they dressed me up as the Chain of Fools,
remember I did that contest years ago.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
Or they literally chained me to five guys fore.

Speaker 5 (23:55):
The pictures for an entire week and it was a
contest and we had to go to a night club
called Felt, which is no longer in existence on Halloween
night and that was my costume, me with five guys
chained around my waist. It was It was the craziest
thing I've ever experienced in my entire life.

Speaker 4 (24:14):
You will never do that again.

Speaker 5 (24:15):
I will never do that again. But I'm telling you
that was quite the costume.

Speaker 3 (24:18):
You know what's funny. I think I was hosting a
kiss night there the night that the chain of fools,
the Chin of Fools came in. You have no idea
how you could never do that today?

Speaker 4 (24:26):
Oh to a lawsuit.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
We had a chain to five men, a real change.

Speaker 1 (24:30):
I had to sleep.

Speaker 4 (24:32):
How'd you go to the bathroom?

Speaker 2 (24:33):
One of them had to come into the bathroom with me.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
That would never happen.

Speaker 3 (24:37):
No, it's like off the hook, cre And they all
slept in the same bed.

Speaker 5 (24:41):
We had like two king sized beds pushed together in
the hotel room.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
It was crazy, Whinnie, it was yeah, No, I just.

Speaker 7 (24:49):
I can't believe that that was a thing, because like,
even one man changed you feels very icky.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
Never mind five, that's a weird situation.

Speaker 3 (24:58):
It was total strangers.

Speaker 4 (25:00):
So I have to ask, at least did nothing happened?

Speaker 3 (25:03):
Justin good question.

Speaker 4 (25:06):
She didn't say yes or no.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
What about showering? How'd that work out? Again?

Speaker 2 (25:11):
One of the guys came into the bathroom with me?
Which who what guy was?

Speaker 4 (25:15):
It was?

Speaker 1 (25:15):
It like were you comfortable with him, I mean stranger.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
But yeah, he was into men.

Speaker 5 (25:22):
He was not into women that so he Yeah, so
he was my bestia the whole week.

Speaker 3 (25:27):
But it wasn't one of the guys like a hot firefighter.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
Helped me out. He was he was really cute.

Speaker 3 (25:31):
The guys were great.

Speaker 5 (25:32):
I have to say, like as far as like the
guys amazing, Like they were so nice.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
Did you learn a lot about everybody?

Speaker 5 (25:38):
Oh god, did we spend a lot of time because
it was great.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
Didn't even imagine it was you saw it.

Speaker 8 (25:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:46):
Every day they'd come in on the show for me
to him and then they came in and felt that night.
They came to my boat one day and I started
freaking out because if one fell in, they all go,
oh my god, yeah, then they're gonna sink like a stone.

Speaker 4 (25:56):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (25:57):
Yeah all the chains.

Speaker 5 (25:58):
Yes, yeah, but again that that was the craziest Halloween
night of my entire life.

Speaker 7 (26:03):
That's just a crazy probably none of your entire life
in general, never mind Halloween completely.

Speaker 3 (26:09):
It was a week, a full week.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
I can survive that. I can survive it.

Speaker 4 (26:12):
I went to a Halloween wedding one year. I got
to say that was. That was one of the best times,
the best.

Speaker 1 (26:17):
Halloweens were they like very into it.

Speaker 4 (26:20):
They were Halloween freaks. Yeah, you had to.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
Dress up to go Oh my god, So what did
you dress up as?

Speaker 4 (26:25):
I paint in my face like a half black, half white,
like an afro. I don't know, my wife.

Speaker 3 (26:33):
Afro?

Speaker 4 (26:33):
It was.

Speaker 8 (26:37):
This year.

Speaker 4 (26:38):
We're dressing up? So should I say it?

Speaker 3 (26:40):
When it gets hit?

Speaker 4 (26:40):
So I'm going to be a convict.

Speaker 3 (26:43):
That's you still have the suit.

Speaker 4 (26:46):
They don't let you take that state property.

Speaker 3 (26:48):
That would awesome.

Speaker 4 (26:50):
And then you know, you have sweats and stuff that
you buy, but you give them away when you leave.
You don't take them with you. Yeah. But so I'm
going to be a convict and my wife is it
going to be the sexy police office the warden. She
came out in the outfit the other night. I almost
hit the floor. It's like a one piece, skin tight.

Speaker 3 (27:11):
You know, outfit, carrying the button.

Speaker 4 (27:13):
She's got the baton, she's got the name tag. It's
like lady Lady Pain or something, Lady Pain. Oh she
has everything.

Speaker 7 (27:23):
Oh yeah, this is way past Halloween for you guys.

Speaker 1 (27:29):

Speaker 4 (27:43):
Every time I bring your name up, I kind of
get the look, so.

Speaker 7 (27:48):
They pick side to the divorce and they all picture wife,
you know, ex wife.

Speaker 4 (27:52):

of the celebrations, the events, the parades, the parties, everything
is happening this weekend. We know Halloween is next Thursday,
but that's the topic Halloween. Do you have crazy Halloween stories?
Have you witnessed something crazy? Or are you doing something
crazy for Halloween this year? It is topic time and

(28:54):
we're going to start with Lauren. Good morning, Lauren. Where
are you calling from?

Speaker 8 (28:58):
Him? Calling you from North are not?

Speaker 3 (29:01):
Okay? What have you got for us?

Speaker 6 (29:03):
So?

Speaker 8 (29:04):
I do have probably quite a lot of crazy Halloween stories.
But if I am a Halloween person, but I would
like to tell you about what we've been going on.
So this weekend is I bartime at a restaurant called Shoddy,
And we've been doing our costumes already for the past
couple of weeks, but we're really turning it up for
this weekend. All kinds of custom stuff we do things,

(29:26):
and Thursday we'll be dressed up as well. Monday we're
having a costume party for all of our customers. We
have quite a loyal following. It's a leb restaurant, so
if you like good Lebanes suits, Yes of us is
the Fall family restaurant called.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
Shoddy what you called shoddies shody in town.

Speaker 6 (29:52):

Speaker 3 (29:53):
So it's Halloween party time and shorties shoes not shorty.
We have a shorty in the Okay, let's go to Troy.
I like that name. Yeah, Hey Troy, good morning.

Speaker 4 (30:07):
How are you guys?

Speaker 3 (30:08):
Give us some Halloween So I just have a suggestion
for Winnie.

Speaker 1 (30:14):
Yes, I'm listening, and I think you should be a
Patriots cheerleader for Halloween if I can find an outfit.

Speaker 4 (30:22):
Sure, I'm not trying to any trouble, but I feel
like it's appropriate. It only makes sense.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Yeah, that's true. You're onto something I think you're not.
You're not wrong. I just gotta find one.

Speaker 6 (30:31):
So you.

Speaker 4 (30:34):
Too, Yeah, Troy, Yeah, if you missed it, Winnie is
you know, she's on all the TMZ Daily Mail, all
that stuff. They picked up the story. We did reach
out to Jordan and try to get her one's girlfriend to,
you know, issue the challenge with Winnie live on the air,
and she has not responded back.

Speaker 3 (30:51):
So you suit up as a Patriots cheerleader, You're one up, Jordan.

Speaker 1 (30:55):
I'm just saying, but you know what, go all cheerleader.

Speaker 3 (30:59):
We love you matter.

Speaker 4 (31:00):
The division going to save the cheerleaders, cheerleaders the world.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
There's all I need to know.

Speaker 4 (31:07):
We love Bridgewater State.

Speaker 3 (31:08):
We do always.

Speaker 7 (31:10):
I went to Framingham State, so I really, I mean,
go go go.

Speaker 4 (31:13):
Overham are the rivals?

Speaker 7 (31:15):
Well, I mean the state schools is like, you know,
what's the better state school? And I personally picked Framingham
State because I didn't want to go to Bridgewater State.

Speaker 3 (31:22):
Okay, I'm thinking today, you probably want to stick with Bridgewater.

Speaker 6 (31:26):
No.

Speaker 7 (31:26):
I literally applied to both, and I was like, I
could never live in Bridgewater.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
I want to framing him.

Speaker 2 (31:30):
But again, we love Bridgewater.

Speaker 3 (31:32):
Yeah, we're trying to you guys love Bridgewater.

Speaker 1 (31:35):
I have a problem with it, but I didn't pick it.

Speaker 3 (31:37):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (31:38):
Bridgewater State did post along with Jordan's you know, a
video of them with their championship saying see you soon,
kiss one O eight yah kiss kiss one. Always going
to be there.

Speaker 3 (31:49):
I don't think.

Speaker 1 (31:49):
No, we tried to talk to Jordan.

Speaker 7 (31:52):
It would have been fun, but you know, we're not
going to keep beating a dead horse is what it is.

Speaker 4 (31:57):
Anyway, back to Halloween.

Speaker 7 (32:00):
Does a screening of The Nightmare before Christmas where they
play the entire score. It is the most amazing musical performance.

Speaker 2 (32:11):
That I've ever seen.

Speaker 1 (32:13):
It's incredible.

Speaker 2 (32:15):
I highly recommend it.

Speaker 3 (32:16):
All right, we got to check that out. Symphony Hall BSL.

Speaker 4 (32:19):
Now that would be cool. That would be cool. Yeah, yeah, listen.
I love Halloween, I really do. It's just especially when
you have kids. When you have kids, it really changes it.

Speaker 5 (32:29):
Riley's wearing one of those gilly suits, like it's like
a giant bush.

Speaker 6 (32:33):
You know.

Speaker 4 (32:34):
They could dress up like a giant bush.

Speaker 1 (32:36):
Yeah, and I love it.

Speaker 3 (32:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (32:37):
They're just all yeah, they're like what like in the army,
like you would they wear the camouflage.

Speaker 2 (32:45):
Yeah, but they sell them.

Speaker 3 (32:47):
Mark Wahlberg wore that in the shooter he did in
the early scenes.

Speaker 4 (32:51):
It's pretty ironic. Riley had the kind of a bush
on his head and now he's going to be a bush.

Speaker 3 (32:58):
Barber kind of trimmed the bush too much on the head.
That's that's a big story. And done of the house.

Speaker 4 (33:03):
Oh the hair got cut.

Speaker 1 (33:04):
Yeah, he's not happy.

Speaker 4 (33:05):
Did he tell him how short he wanted it?

Speaker 2 (33:07):
Yeah, it just it didn't go well.

Speaker 4 (33:09):
Yeah, when that happens, there's nothing you can do. You
can get the hair back.

Speaker 1 (33:12):
No, it's going to grow mean, Yeah, it will grow fast.

Speaker 3 (33:15):
Yes, covering his head in the bush because he's not
happy with his hair.

Speaker 4 (33:19):
No, but yeah, we had a trunk or treat in
my town, Salem, New Hampshire last night. It was nice.
But my daughter's a little bumblebee.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
Oh she's so cute.

Speaker 4 (33:29):
She loves bumblebees. I did post it on my Instagram.
She's very cute.

Speaker 3 (33:32):
What's trunk or treat?

Speaker 4 (33:34):
It's like you know all the you know, they open
their trunks and they have displays and kind of Halloween
you know things you know.

Speaker 5 (33:40):
They do like parking lots for it's easy for the
kids to go around.

Speaker 4 (33:44):
And you never did trunk or treat.

Speaker 7 (33:46):
No, to be fair, we never had a growing up
Justin you know that it was not a thing.

Speaker 4 (33:51):
Yeah, I don't remember.

Speaker 1 (33:52):
I mean I'm the youngest one here and it was
never a thing.

Speaker 2 (33:54):
It's pretty new.

Speaker 7 (33:55):
I mean, the soft generation of parenting just has to
make everything's so easy.

Speaker 4 (34:00):
So now we're going to fight with the parents. Okay,
on the emails.

Speaker 1 (34:04):
I have been working for it. On the street.

Speaker 2 (34:08):
That is over to something.

Speaker 1 (34:12):
Yeah, move on, Good morning guys, Happy Friday.

Speaker 7 (34:15):
Oh Justin, I could picture it now, Jen coming out
in that and you're like, what mouse?

Speaker 1 (34:20):
What they don't even live here.

Speaker 4 (34:22):
Yeah, my wife's going to be a sexy police officer.
And when she came out with the outfit, I was.

Speaker 2 (34:27):
Well, wow, yeah, that sounds tremendous.

Speaker 5 (34:30):
I thought you guys are going to be like she
was going to be the exterminator and you were going
to be the mouse.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
That was an idea, good one.

Speaker 4 (34:37):
We have a mouse in the house. It's a hot
topic in my house.

Speaker 3 (34:40):
So you're her prisoner.

Speaker 4 (34:42):
I'm her prisoner, although she shouldn't be in the convict
with me, if being honest, but you.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
Both have records.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
Well, well you know what that could be next year
that you can reverse it.

Speaker 3 (34:53):
Next year you'll be the cop and she'll be the prisoner.

Speaker 4 (34:55):
But you know what it's like, you know, I think
my wife's, you know, the most beautiful girl on the
world came out in that huf.

Speaker 3 (35:01):
Yeah, whoa boy, if you were the cop, think she
could just carry a bunch of car keys.

Speaker 4 (35:10):
We'll throw on some music. Yeah, that's Halloween weekend. Everybody
right back and this.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
Way, good morning, morning crew.

Speaker 9 (35:24):
This is Chris and David from Exeter, New Hampshire. Our
last call in from Florence, Italy, and by some not
so small miracle, the rain has let up. Must have
done something right, and uh, we're just enjoying our last day.

Speaker 3 (35:39):
It's amazing here.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
I do recommend it, and especially Tuscany.

Speaker 9 (35:44):
Mama. So we're eating our way through and headed back tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (35:48):
Nice, that's amazing.

Speaker 4 (35:49):
I love how she's doing a daily check in from
on vacation, eating.

Speaker 3 (35:53):
Her way through Italy.

Speaker 2 (35:55):
That's the only way she should.

Speaker 4 (35:57):
I feel like that's what you're doing Italy, right, So
don't they shut down for lunch every day so people
can go home and eat and take naps. I think
it's Italy.

Speaker 1 (36:07):
I think it's multiple Do they do it?

Speaker 5 (36:10):
Yeah, they spend time with each other and enjoy their food.

Speaker 4 (36:14):
Well, I can say, you know, down in my house, right,
so my mother in law lives downstairs, and then her mother,
so my wife's grandmother. It came from Italy when she
was a teenager. And dinner is such a big deal.
It's an event every single night. They talk about it
all day from morning, what she's gonna cook, she's gonna
cook it, what time it's gonna be, and then when
it comes, it's like this big event.

Speaker 12 (36:36):
Every night she's making the sauce. Oh, the sauce. Oh yeah,
every day, and it's a big thing because you know,
I'm on this. I'm not not a crazy diet, but
you know, I eat measured out clean food. So I
can't eat her food anymore. And she's highly offended.

Speaker 1 (36:51):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 4 (36:52):
So every day she makes food and she tries to say, well,
I made you can have this. It's just it's just vegetables,
and I'm like, what'd you put on the vegetables? Well,
just a little all of them. I can't have that.
It's extra calories, you know. So it's a big thing
in Italy.

Speaker 1 (37:06):
So it's one.

Speaker 7 (37:09):
Gigi the Parably visit in Paris with my sister and
Lisa's my sister's birthday.

Speaker 1 (37:15):
Do you think she should have.

Speaker 2 (37:18):
She should a little bit too in Paris.

Speaker 1 (37:25):
Yep, good for them.

Speaker 4 (37:27):
Shout out to GIZI from from Paris.

Speaker 6 (37:29):
Was so eager, so young, but not too young to
learn about making herself shine in the eyes of some
lucky man.

Speaker 1 (37:38):
Gi Oh my god,
