(00:00):
Now this morning show in Boston,Billie and Lisa in the morning. It's
just a great start to my dayon Kiss one away. Well, here
we go. Good morning everybody, and welcome into the Billy and Lisa Morning
Show. If you're just waking up, don't forget today is Tuesday. Love
that. I'm so happy. Sowe had the long weekend and now we

(00:22):
get the short week. That worksfor me. I like the four day
work week, you know. Igotta be honest. Although sometimes it doesn't
feel that short a four day workweek. Sometime it feels longer. Well,
it actually will be five days becausewe have Kiss concert on Saturday.
Oh yeah, there you go,Lisa, it does feel longer. I
knew I was onto something. Igotta tell you there's something too. The

(00:42):
long weekend. I love it.Boy. It fascinates me that some people
have it all the time, Likeit's every weekend is a long weekend.
It's the new normal. They havethree day weeks, right, Yeah,
and when there's there's a Monday holiday, it starts on they work Wednesday and
then they're off Thursday, Friday,Saturday, Sunday. That's the new way,
you know. Yeah, we're notpart of the new way we come

(01:04):
in, we work, that's theway it works. So last night was
one of those nights sleeping where youknow, you go to bed, you're
really tired. Celtics by the way, one if you're just waking up.
So they're onto the NBA Finals,so you're already going to sleep late,
right, but you wake up likeand you're like, oh my god,
what time is it? Is ittime to go to work? And I

(01:26):
woke up and it was only midnight, and I said, oh, I've
got four more hours of sleep. It's a good failing. Oh, that's
a good Yeah. The worst iswhen you wake up, you know,
thirty minutes before. Yeah, oh, you don't want to go back to
sleep because you might fall in adeep sleep and then be more tired.
But the Celtics though, in theplayoffs, I was talking about this to
Winnie. I have I'll go tobed after the first half. Yeah,

(01:47):
and then like my brain, eventhough I'm sleeping, knows the game's going
on, and I keep waking upin the fourth quarter. Naturally, I
did that thing because Michelle kept watchingit in bed and I have to go
to sleep. But then I keptwaking up saying, how doing how are
we doing? Because we were downby eight uh in the fourth quarter I
think it was yeah and uh andwe came back so onto the onto the

(02:07):
finals in the championship. Well, our guy Adam Kaufman was right, we
got to give him his price,he was. He's coming on this morning,
right, Yeah, we'll talk tohim. Let's pretend that we let's
just insist. No, we're theones that called for a sweep. We
said that we're gonna swap Can Itell you I was on Bill's boat this
weekend watching the game of him,and he's like that coffin, he's awful.

(02:29):
What are you talking about? Akick right now? They're not going
to win in four or five, hopefully six. Well, the Friday night
game was pretty bad. I don'tknow how they won that. They came
back the last minute. Defense, defense win championships. Yeah, but we
we have a tendency to gaslight AdamKaufman. We do, don't we lease
We always do. You know what, he's very gaslightable. We're gonna give

(02:53):
HIMSS props this morning. Yeah, you know, we'll get HSS props.
And from now on, I'm gonnabelieve everything our sports guy Kaufman has to
say. But yeah, it wasa long weekend. Most of it was
beautiful weatherwisely, so it was Iwas a Boston calling Friday night, beautiful
night. We saw Ed Sharon sawRenee Rapp. I love her. It
was so good Ed Shearon to me, is just an amazing performance. He

(03:15):
was still wearing the green sneakers fromthe Celtics game. Yeah, he was
fantastic. Yeah, such a coolguy. And uh well, producer Riley
went Friday too. Did you runinto each other? We didn't see each
other, but there were so manypeople there. Oh god, yeah,
yeah, yeah it looked. Itlooked crazy, it did. I was

(03:36):
watching some of Ed's performance and Iliked how he started talking about, you
know, he had one song, you know, his first song, Castle
on a Hill, and he wasfiguring to come to America and then go
back to the UK and never comeback again. And then look at his
career, look where it went.Oh yeah, it's amazing. So I
was watching a lot of the Instagramposts from our guy the Mighty won the
Mighty McKay. So he got tosit down with Ozier. Hmm with him,

(04:00):
We're going to run some of thatinterview from Boston Calling coming up in
the Entertainment Report. Yeah, McCabewas there. I don't picture mccab as
being out, you know what Imean. I thought it was a recluse.
It's unfortunate that you don't follow McCabebecause there's no one busier than him.
Really's at every right when he he'sout seven nights, I was gonna
say. And he's such a musicnerd that he loves like he went to

(04:20):
the Killers of Paradise, he wentto all three days of Boston Calling.
I was jealous that he got togo to the Paradise. I do follow
him, and you're right, heis out. He's always out to eat.
He's going to Tanglewood. Yeah,oh I love that. Well,
he he loves you know, who'she going to see a tangle Wood?
I don't Know's he just going fora picture. He loves Keith. Yeah,

(04:44):
he's a die hard lockholl that's theBoston pops. He loves them.
I'm so excited for him. Yeah, he's a Keith Lockhart stalker. I
have called him the doogie Howser radioand I have so true with that.
And he also just like he movedto self end because he was in Rose
and he's like, I'm too farfrom the city. I need to be
in the city. So he literallymoved because he's I have to be where

(05:05):
the people are. What an interestingfella. Yeah, he was all over
Boston cong as was Gianna. Shedid a great job too. They were
interviewing a bunch of people. Yeah, jeh, we're all over it.
So good. So we've got someof that. You know what else we
have, don't forget. We justmentioned Kiss concert is coming up this Saturday.
We've got tickets at seven ten, eight ten, and nine ten,
but at nine ten we're giving youpit passes. I've never been in the

(05:29):
pit. The pit's a cool place. Well, we've never had a pit
This is that first time I hada Kiss concert. Yeah, so that's
coming up at nine ten. We'vegot Kiss concert tickets all morning long.
Entertainment Report is coming up next, obviously, will take you to the Celtics
win. Last night, Donnie Wahlberghad a very cool interview court side.
I happened to notice in the backgroundhe was talking and I recognized the reporter

(05:51):
talking to him, and he hada lot of cool things to say.
About the SOUTHI so we've got thatand so much more. Entertainment is up
next. We're back with a Billyand in the morning on Kiss. Welcome
back everybody. It's early on aTuesday morning, coming off the long Memorial
Day weekend. Before we get toentertainment, just and you want to squeeze

(06:11):

Lisa Show. If you never leftone, we encourage you to leave one
today. You do that via theiHeartRadio app, which is free to download.
If you search us Kiss. Wantto wait, you're listening live.
You tap the red microphone boom thatcomes to me. I am so so
excited for Kiss concert this year. This is my first Kiss concert. But

(06:32):
I have three tickets and I onlyhave one friend that is able to go
with me. Another friend dropped outshe has something else that she has to
do. So now I have anextra ticket and I don't know what to
do. No one can go helpme. She's got a very small circle

(06:55):
one friend. I'm with her.You know what, go it's just you
and your friend legroom. You know, have the person that you know in
the middle. Leave it opened upset for your bags or if you mean,
if you want, if some Idon't know, if somebody, I
don't know, should we someone wantsto go? Unless she was asking for

(07:16):
that? What was she asking that? I thought she may may have been.
But somebody reaches out, you know, take the ticket. Yeah,
but the thing is tells to melike, is it for free? You're
giving it away for free? DoI got to pay for it? Maybe
we'll just stay out of it.Let stay out of it. She can
go with her friend and there yougo, and we'll be walking around.
Will Yeah, he says, we'llcome sit with you. Yeah, we

(07:39):
will. Will I will. Time. Now the entertainment update with the Billy
Hops. I guess it depends onwhere her seats are. Yeah, yeah,
I'm not going to everyone is inthe lawn. Okay. Your Boston
Celtics are headed to the NBA Finals. They completed this sweep at the Pacers

(08:01):
last night, one five, oneoh two. Another tough game, but
the game tied with under a minuteto go, Derek White hits the all
important three. The Celts are movingon. We want to enjoy this.
I mean, it's it's a grind, it's not easy, but yeah,
we want to enjoy it for alittle bit, and then we're gonna lock
in and do what we need todo. They're not gonna lock it in.

(08:24):
They're gonna lock in. There's abig difference, right justin uh anyway,
Jalen Brown had twenty nine points onthe night. Don't forget just recently
snubbed by the All NBA team.He gets the season, the series MVP.
It's been nothing but a grind. We haven't skipped no steps all season.
We got a bunch of great guysin his locker room, a bunch
of tough guys. Our coach ofstaff has been great, front office has

(08:45):
been great, and now we wantto take it to the next step.
Well, the next step will bethe NBA Finals, which by the way,
don't start until next Thursday night herein Boston, June sixth And I
mean it looks like Dallas might sweep, you know, so now they'll both
have good amount of Dallas doesn't sweep, so we get a little bit more
risk. Yeah, it's gonna beKyrie versus Boston. Yeah, it's gonna

(09:09):
be Oh boy, it's gonna getheated in that garden. Jason Datum had
twenty six points on the night. So they sweep four games zip, and
it wasn't easy. He says,it's special. Right, even though we've
been there before, most of ushave. You don't take it for granted,
right, We were excited. Isthe hell of the team we just
played. They made us earn everysingle game and we're extremely grateful to you

(09:33):
know, move on to the finals. And Donnie Wahlberg court signed for the
game last night, sizing up theCeltics magic. You know, everybody writes
this team off. They lose ahome game and they're like, oh,
what's wrong with these guys? Theundefeated on the road, what's right with
these guys? That's what we shouldbe focusing on. This is this team
is very special. They never giveup. They've never given up. And

(09:54):
the reputation that they're not clutched, that they don't win in the clutch,
it's ridiculous. It's this is agreat team and this this should be the
year Boston, let's go. Soit's number one fan right there, Yes
he is, yep. So yeah, next Thursday night in Boston, it's
gonna be crazy. So our veryown Tiffany who does Weekend my girl tips

(10:18):
she's originally from here, but she'sin Cincinnati, which is only an hour
and a half from Indiana. Didn'tknow that. So she went to the
game and there's some stuff on thekiss on Instagram that she got some footage.
So she was in the stands. She was only nine rows back.
Oh cool, Yeah, I wishwe could. The prices were a lot.
It was like two hundred bucks fortydollars for balcony up there. Well

(10:39):
this, Yeah, the Indiana Pacersdon't really have a ton of Yeah,
you know, it's not the same. Yes, a few hundred. You
want to get in the building rightnow. I was listening to another show
and they had a list of thetop ten celebrity fans of the Indiana Pacers.
Not a good list, I think. Really was the most famous Jared
Jared Fogel. You know the subwaycreep that's in prison. Yeah, Sarah

(11:05):
Palin's brother in law, Jared Fogelgo to prison now is in prison?
Yeah? Wow? Yeah. Uh. Tom Brady h looking ahead to his
new career as a broadcaster and whathe expects. There's a little bit with
the broadcaster. I don't think forme, it's about competition. I think
it's for me. It's about didI put everything I could into it?

(11:28):
And I did I give the fanseverything that they tuned in for. And
that's really how I end up gaugingmyself and and I'll have to look at
myself at the end of every Sundaynight going Did I do a good enough
job? Did I live up tothe belief that Fox had in me?
Did I live up to the expectationsof my teammates Kevin Burkhart and Aaron and

(11:48):
Tom and Richie's ions and rich Russoin our entire truck, the entire team.
That's that's ultimately how I judge myselfin that new I'm telling you,
I like this new Tom Brady. You know, he's got a personality all
of a sudden. Where do youfind that? It was right after he
left New England. Yeah. Ithink he's gonna be great, honestly.
Oh he'll be really good, veryinsightful. Boy, he's got more information,

(12:13):
more knowledge. Yeah. Oh yeah. The Boston Calling Festival this weekend,
thousands and thousands of people flocking toHarvard or at least a done have
been included and producer Riley too EdSheeran Renee rapped, the Killers, Chapel
Roan, Meghan, the Stallion,David Kushner. So the Mighty McCabe sat
down with the Joseier and apparently thisguy loves Boston. It's actually one of

(12:35):
my favorite kind of festivals, Ithink is the fact that it's like right
slap bang in the middle of town. It's like a nice sort of city
vibe and good atmosphere. Is oneof the really good early memories of doing
Boston. Colman. It's one ofthe early festivals I did back in the
day, so at least you getsome merch. I did, and there
wasn't much of a line, whichwas great. Really, the whole night
was perfect, I have to say. It was just like the weather was

(12:56):
good, that warm. There wasjust like a gentle breeze. We were
sitting on the lawn listening to likeEd Sharon and Renee rap and it was
just so great. How about longlines to get a mirror? Oh no,
we just everything that's perfect. Likethere were lines, but it was
just it was everything was like reallyeasy and manageable, and the food was
good. So yeah, they've gotthings under control. New South Park episode

(13:20):
this weekend, Making fun of allthe people who are suddenly hooked on ozempic
offering up a new alternative called Lizzo. We have a clip. I controlled
all my cravings to be thinner withLizzo. Emty approved. Lizzo makes you

(13:41):
feel good about your weight and itcosts ninety percent list little Zipi. I've
lowered my standards and my expectations.Yeah, they crushed Lizzo. I mean
Southbod is one of those shows. It's one of the only shows that's like
not canceled. They still doing thesame thing they'd be doing for decades.
Well, let'so had to react. My worst fear has been actualized. I've

(14:03):
been referenced in a South Park episode. That's crazy. I really showed the
world how to love yourself and notgive a to the point where these men
in Colorado know who the I amand put it on their cartoon that's been
around for twenty five years. I'mreally and I'll show y'all how to not
give a I'm gonna keep on showingyou how to not give a right.

(14:24):
Oh oh, Liz, Yeah, well you know what it is. It's
bad bitch energy. Absolutely Billy EilishThis weekend criticizing artists doing those long three
hour concerts. Was she or wasshe not throwing shade at Taylor. I'm
not doing a three hour show. It's literally psychotic. Nobody wants that.

(14:46):
You guys don't want that. Iwould don't want that, you know what
I'm saying. I don't even wantthat. As a fan my favorite artists
in the world, I'm not tryingto hear them for three hours, you
know what I mean. It's fartoo long. I gotta tell you.
It seems to be working for TaylorSwift. I'd say, man, uh
and uh. I wonder what timeBilly wants to hurt a show to go

(15:07):
to o'clock? Thank you, TaylorSwift. Over the weekend actually added more
artists to the line of Benson Booneis going to join her on some of
the stops, so we'll paramore andmy favorite the soundtrack of My Life,
Griff Griff. Come on, man, I don't know. I told Billy,

(15:28):
I'm like, just mentioned more andBenson Boone no no reason to mention.
Yeah, well everyone's gonna know prettysoon, right Victim for her tour,
Yeah, she's up in an upand comer. Is it a girl?
Okay, you don't know Griff. Now you'll know Griff tomorrow exactly will
Yeah. Nicki Minaj was arrested overthe weekend in Amsterdam, of all places,

(15:50):
for carrying drugs Amsterdam. That's allthey do is drugs there. Yeah.
I thought they were legal in Amsterdam. I think they are, but
you need to buy them there orlike she was bringing the packers got them
in, but I think you'd likego to the store and get them.
You know, she had her ownstuff too. They want you to buy
it. I don't know. Idon't know the whole full story, but

(16:11):
I think that's kind of what itwas. But they detained her, they
did, and she's not at hertour manager to see that story. He
was signing a woman's breasts upset theopportunity presents itself. Why would you want
her to say? No? Youknow, I just right there, no
no problem, I got this.Where's the marker? But she was in

(16:33):
a jail cell for six hours,uh and had to cancel her show in
Manchester, England because she couldn't makeit on time. Well, she couldn't
make it on time if she wasn'tin jail. Every show A couple of
weird incidents over the weekend. MikeTyson, on a flight from Miami to
Los Angeles, suffered some kind ofan ulcer flare up. I got really
dizzy and nauseous. Paramedics had toboard the flight when it landed. But

(16:57):
they say he's recovering. Well, when's that fight by the way with Jake
Paul. It's coming up in July. But they had to do the whole
you know, is there a doctoron board? He really did that.
Is there a doctor on board? We have a medical emergency? And it
seems there always is. There alwaysis, There's always a medical person.
Yeah. Yeah. Another weird incident, this one at the cabint Theater in
Beverly. Actor Richard Dreyfus was therefor a special screening of the Jaws movie.

(17:22):
I don't forget he was in Jaw. Is he related to Julious Juliet
Julia Luis. I don't think so. I don't think so. That's a
question. Yeah, But he waskind of hosting this screening because, like
I said, he was one ofthe stars. He was sold out.
Yeah, and he got took themicrophone and went on a rant about the
me Too movement. A transgender kids, cancel culture. People were walking out.

(17:48):
Yeah, Cabin Theater had to apologize. Oh my god, we always
have people from the Cabin Theater doYeah, they were horrified. Oh my
god. Don't forget Kiss Concert ticketsseventeen years live. Look at Saturday night.

a Tuesday of morning. Kiss Concertis just days away. It's coming up.

(18:59):
This sad We've got a pair oftickets right now to the kids concert.
All we need is call her twentyfive. But you will need the
keyword and the keyword, and fordamn good reason, I'm the keyword is
Celtics. The Celtics sweep the series. And the person I'm most excited for,
Adam Kaufman, is Adam Kaufman fromWBC News Radio ten thirty. We'll

(19:22):
come on our sports guy, AdamKaufman on the line. Adam, we
all told you the Celts you're gonnasweep this team. First that is going
to say, thanks, Mom,that was that was great. I really
appreciate that. Look, I'm surprisednot that the Celtics won. You know,

(19:45):
I came on with you guys obviouslyand said Celton five, maybe six.
But I didn't think a sweep wasgoing to happen. And you could
easily for anyone to watch these games, and I know they're a little late
at night for you guys, soI don't know if you made it till
all the end of all, theseCeltics could easily be as we sit here
right now, trailing this series threeto one. I mean it took some

(20:07):
you know, pretty incredible finishes toa few of these games to come up
with that sweep. So it was, you know, it's kind of crazy
to say a series that Boston wonfour games to none that that it was
tightly contested, but it was.It was an incredibly tightly contested sweep every
single game for sure. But let'syou know, I guess you could look

(20:30):
at a couple different ways. Oneyou certainly tip your cap to Indiana.
The Pacers were terrific and pesky andfrisky and did not go away. But
this has been something that basketball fans, never mind Celtics fans, basketball fans
had been wanting to see from Bostonall year long. If they were going
to prove that they had this, you know, to any of the doubters

(20:52):
the championship medal, it was weneed to know that in tight games and
clutch situations you can win these games. And they won three of them,
three out of four, you know, coming back, they didn't allow a
point to the Pacers in the lastthree and a half minutes of that game
last night and just played tremendous defense, hit the important shots, finished on

(21:15):
a strong run. We saw thathappen again multiple times in the series and
so yeah, you could look atit and say, well, they didn't
have Tyrese Haliburton, he didn't haveJimmy Butler. The Cavs do a missing
Donovan Mitchell. So what you know, You play what's on the schedule and
you try and do your best withit. And the Celtics they are deserving
of winning the Eastern Conference. Andnow they're off until next Thursday night,

(21:37):
which means boris back too. Porzingisis expected back, which is huge.
But I'm glad you brought that up. I mean, can we just address
that with Adam Silver, commissioner orthe NBA and the league, Like if
that other series Dallas and Minnesota alsoends in a sweep tonight, we really
need to sit here for a weekand a half and even forget that.

(21:59):
Like not a bit deal for USCeltics fans, because we know we're still
going to be talking about the Celticsevery day. But NBA fans across the
country who are not tied to eitherof these two teams by the time the
Final starts in two months, they'regonna forget there's even a game going on.
Yeah, So it's it's just it'sit's stupid that you can't. You
have no flexibility with your TV partnersto move this up. So who do

(22:23):
we sort of a consolation earlier start, who do we not you have better
with the Mavericks or the Timberwolves.I think you could make a case for
either one. Honestly, it doesn'tmatter because it's it's gonna be Dallas.
Dallas is up three to nothing. No NBA team has ever come back from
down three to zero to win,So it's gonna be Dallas. You know,
Minnesota is a much better defensive team. Dallas is a better offensive team.

(22:48):
And I think the if you wantto look back to the regular season,
the Celtics played the Mavericks twice andhandle them. You know, one
game by almost thirty points, theother one was still doubled. It's you
know, it's it's clear obviously Luka, Doncic, Kyrie Irving. You know,
there's there's there's great depth on theMavericks, but the Celtics defend so

(23:11):
well, especially obviously on the perimeter, in their guards Derek White, Drew
Holiday, Jaylen Brown, Like, these guys are gonna put Luca in a
box. They're gonna give him ahard time. Luca's still gonna have good
games, you know, and they'restill gonna be again tight games. I
don't expect the Celtics to run awaywith this thing game to game, but
it should be another five or sixgame series that Boston wins. I mean,

(23:33):
we you know, Banner eighteen shouldbe right around the corner here.
I gotta tell you interesting, ifKyrie Iring comes to town and it looks
like he will be yeah, Ican't. There's just nothing more painful to
even think about emotionally than the ideaof losing a championship series to Kyrie IRV.
You can't. You can't do it. You can't. Don't even play

(23:55):
it. Wow, you can't.You just like you need to like him
stomping on on the Lucky logo whenhe came to town years. You need
to stomp on Kyrie Irving year. You got to win this thing and uh
and make a point in doing so. But I look, I don't want
to get ahead of you know, ourselves here, But I kind of have
been throughout this entire playoff run forthis team all year. It was reached

(24:21):
the finals or bust, you know, anything less than getting to the championship
round. Would be considered a failure. And then I think, as you
know, as it evolved, andyou you weren't going to see Milwaukee,
you weren't going to see Philadelphia. You're going to see Denver on the other
side, if you got to thispoint or some of those other talented teams
in the Western Conference, not theDallas isn't. But this is a five

(24:42):
seed. Anything less than a championshipis a failure by this Boston Celtics team.
We're going to win. We're gettingthe championship. Brother, I know
you're always down on the Celtics, but we're all for the Celtics. We're
calling it to sweep in the championship. Whoever it is, we'll call him
back in August when when the finalstart and get his predictions. Adam Kaufman,

(25:03):
that's our sports guy right there. And now we go to Lauren,
who happens to we call her twentyfive. Good morning, Lauren, Good
morning. Do you have a keywordfor us, Lauren? Celtics, Celtics.
So now you're going to join usthis coming Saturday. Add to Kiss
Concert and by the way, aKiss Concert brought to you by Jeep four
by E from the open Road tothe off beaten track. Explore electric freedom

(25:29):
in the new Jeep Wrangler four byE and Grand Cherokee four by E.
Charge ahead this spring at your localdealership or at Jeep dot com. So,
Lauren, hold on and we'll seeyou at Kiss concert. And yeah,
what's coming up next? So whatare the two leading causes of divorce?
Can you guess what they are?Talk about it in three minutes,
brilliant, Lisa Kiss. Okay,Yeah, we've got an interesting topic here,

(25:52):
all about divorce, and Lisa, you've got it right in front.
I founded last week late last weekon the Daily Mail, which we love.
This guy, James Sexton. He'sa New York based divorce attorney.
He's like a leading divorce attorney. He's come out with a couple of books.
He was just on a podcast andhe says that the two causes of
divorce people that head into his officeare infidelity and money. Mmmm or both

(26:19):
or both? For sure. Moneyis about power. Money is about control,
Money is about opportunity security. It'sabout a whole bunch of things.
But it's not really about money.I think money has a whole bunch of
complicated stuff tied up in it.It's why we can't impolite conversation talk about
what did you pay for that? How much do you make? It's considered
sort of indelicate to do that becausewe've loaded it up with all kinds of

(26:41):
emotional things about worth and relative worth. So it's not uncommon that people are
dishonest with themselves and with each otherabout money. Yeah, I think it's
a big thing. Well, they'vealready said the biggest sources of argument in
a family is money between That's alwaysthe biggest argument. Yeah. I mean,

(27:02):
I can tell you from on apersonal level. It's something that my
wife and I were aware of earlyon, and when we moved in together
and eventually bought houses and all that. We've always this is just our personal
preference. We keep our finances separate. She has her own bank account,
I have her own bank account. We have one central bank account for how
stuff that we both contribute to.But I don't know what's in her bank

(27:23):
account. I don't know what she'sspending her money on, and honestly,
I don't care. It's and it'sreally worked for us. But if you
were to break up, she wouldcare what's in that account Okay, well,
I try not to think negatively.I also want to there is something
else that James Sexton said in thispodcast, and I want to read it
to you because I think it's sointeresting, he said. He shared that

(27:45):
when a woman is laid off andwasn't bringing any money in, it didn't
tend to lead to divorce. However, he admitted that when a man would
lose his job, women aren't attractedto the idea of being the breadwinner,
and it tended to lead to separation. It's about what money represents. It's
about power, just like he said. That's exactly what he said. Yeah,

(28:07):
like, you're not supposed to asksomebody how much they make or you
know what they paid for whatever.Winnie, Yeah, that's what she does.
I'm always gonna date. So whatare you making? Yeah, we
had a listener commitment for a tour, and the we're talking to her outside.
We just met this girl. Wegave her a tour. And then

(28:29):
when he looks down at their fingerand goes, look at that ring,
Oh my god, how much moneyis he making? He was making a
lot of money. Yeah, somoney is the first thing. The other
one is yes, sex. Sexis a thing that is definitional to a
romantic relationship. Now again, willit always be the same, will it
always stay at the same level ofimportance? No, but is it a

(28:52):
great canary in the coal mine thatyou know, like something's off with the
sex now that that that that thetragedy not far behind. Yeah, Like
because almost every couple when I talkedto my side of the equation about when
did this thing start? When didthis ship start to sink? There was

(29:12):
certainly some change in sex. Yeah, he said that, you know when
the guy started sleeping with his personalassistant. Yeah, it started way before
that. Yeah, that tends tohappen a lot. Yeah. Well,
I think that's a way to connectwith your partner, right, Like,
even if you guys might be upsetwith each other, you're going through things,

(29:33):
like if you can make that timeto connect, then it can kind
of maybe lead to more conversation.Well to your point, he did in
this podcast offer up ways that couplescan sort of reconnect, and he said
that he had advice for men.He said that men should leave little love
notes for their partners their spouses toremind them of how much they adore them.

(29:56):
That's a big hold on time.I ask a question my hands in
the air, Lisa, Yes,does love text count or is this like
actual notes? You think he saidactual notes to like leave it like under
her pillows or like so funny ifmy parents lead to the notes all the
time. Yeah, it's nice reallylike you'll see on the table like even
it it'll be like, hey, like I went to get coffee. It's

(30:18):
not even like a love note, but it's like, oh, do don't
forget to do this? Or doyou do that? I always see it
when I go to their house onthe table, just like Bill, I'm
gonna write myself a note, notmix it up, maybe leave up a
personal note. And also like forpeople that travel a lot, I know
that there are a lot of womenthat put like little notes in their husband's
like little carry on. So likewhen he opens up his bag when he

(30:40):
gets to the hotel, there's likea nice little note. Okay, now
it's getting a little corny. No, but I think that's sweet. No,
I'm gonna leave a love note.Yeah, Bill, make this make
the less marriage words. Is itlike a little tiny note or do you
write a letter? Or no?But I think again, it doesn't have
to be anything crazy. It canbe a little sticky note like my I'm
telling you, like a little pieceof paper, like have a good day,

(31:02):
love you okay, like stuff likethat. Yeah, you know what,
be a little freaky rhythm stick Yeah, there you go there, you
know you keep that going. Everythingelse is going to be fine. You
know what that's saying. It's reallya bottom line right there, you know
the rhythm stick. Oh god,but this is a really good topic.

(31:26):
Yeah. By the way, wedon't want all negative on this, okay,
because we are coming up on topictime, Like you can tell us
what's wonderful about your relations sure, what's working for you? Like how do
you keep it going? Yeah?Yeah, but you know, on the
other hand, if you want tocrap all over them, our phone lines
are open absolutely and that goes everyday. You can crap all over someone.

(31:47):
But for now we're talking uh,breakups and sex and love and love
notes and everything six one seven ninethree one one one eight. You can
always reach out to Justin on thetalk back Justin give them the directions please.
It's called the eye Heart radio app. You're listening to us. You
tap the red microphone you get thirtyseconds please join the show. We'd love
to have you. That's next. What is the topic today? We're going

(32:09):
to be talking about. Billy andLisa present Topic time, talk amongst yourselves.
Topic time. Okay, it's timefor topic time. I got to
tell you something. We always havegood topics and things to talk about,
but this morning I was actually inJustin's studio as he was receiving a lot

(32:30):
of the talkbacks from listeners out there. And you've got some good ones.
I'm sure the phones are looking goodtoo, Justin, you want to start
with the talk pack, You've gotsome good ones. Well, we had
a really good topic a few minutesago about you know, the two things
that cause divorce and that's money andthat is sex. That comes from the
nation's leading divorce attorney. Right,so you know that that's the topic for

(32:52):
topic time. You know, thegood and the bad, you know what
I mean. Wouldn't want to justbe the negative, right, you know?
Tell us what works what doesn't?You know? The good? I
feel gestures are a cute little wayto say I love you. My husband
always puts his hand on the smallof my back when we're outside walking somewhere
and guides me to be on theinside of him, as if he's protecting

(33:14):
me. And I do little thingslike prepare his coffee the night before and
set it for the morning, puthis vitamins out every day. Just cute
little innocent things like that. That. Yeah, Billy, any gestures that
you do with your wife, Ishall tell you what's always worked for me
is a nice little pat on thehand. I remember, nothing says good

(33:36):
job like a firm, open palmslap on the behind. Yeah, that's
what my husband does to get yourselfright in there. Yeah. Michelle does
a lot of gesture like that though, Like you know, she sets up
my vitamins in the morning, andshe makes sure I have the coffee at
the right hand, and she doesa lot. Yeah yeah, as does
my wife too. You know whatthey said it to talk about earlier.

(33:58):
I always kind of in a crowdor something a lot always have my hand
on her back to make sure.Yeah that's good. Yeah, yeah,
that's good. It's good to behandsy, you know what I mean.
You know, you got to knowalso when to look out for, you
know, for different signs that thingsare aheaded in the wrong direction, you
know what I mean. Oh,my gosh, you guys are funny talking
about leaving love notes. My exwould never. I mean, that's just
way too much effort for him.It would have been nice, but you

(34:23):
know it's over when they're hiding alot of money from you and they are
talking to other women without you knowing. And yeah, so the sex,
Yeah, when the blue pills startsto come to play, it goes down
hill back b Yeah, all right, and there's that a right, Hey,

(34:44):
when the blue pills work, andthat means something else is exactly Yeah
that that didn't that didn't end well, that's yeah, But what works,
what works and what doesn't work? There's a note what works in the marriage.
You always want to make time foryour partner, like always date your

(35:04):
partner, make a date night oncea week, once a month, whatever
works for your schedule. But maketime for them and do something fun without
the kids, just you and yourpartner, and don't talk about work or
your kids. And it saves everything, promise, and it's so true.
It really is true. Yeah, especially when you have kids. Get away

(35:30):
from the kids. Yeah, areaway from life. Yeah, she's right,
don't talk about God. Yeah yeah, yeah, it takes a while
because when you have younger kids. It's harder. It's very hard. It's
very hard. Yeah, yeah,I say that a lot. I'll say,
you know what, we got togo on on a date tonight,
Let's go out on a date.Well, yeah, that's why they say.

(35:50):
You know, I think she hadsaid it too. You know,
never stop dating your wife, yourpartner, never stop dating you know what
I mean, Just that me andmy husband actually do find it the exact
same way that you and your wifedo. We each have our own bank
accounts and then we have a jointbank account for all the bills to come
out of song. All the billsare paid at the end of the day.
Like, we really don't fight aboutmoney ever. Yeah, you know,

(36:12):
we we have separate accounts, mywife and I and you know,
you know, we came from nothing, Like we literally came from nothing.
So when we started to make money, and we'd see other people's relationships fail
because of money. They're fighting becauseof money. Yah, we make a
pact that we would never fight aboutmoney. And so we have separate accounts
with one joint account for bills inthe house and everything. And you know

(36:34):
what, she can order what shewants. There's always things come into my
house every day that the truck isbacking up. Yeah, I don't care.
It doesn't bother me. Spending yourown money boxes every day at the
door, yeah, every time.Is there ever ever anything for me?
They would There were packages being deliveredon Memorial Day? Wow, that's impressive.

(36:54):
Yes today, Yeah, and thenI left. I left to come
to work at three am this morning. I open my front door and I
kicked another package. It was justthat could come in the moment, you
know what I mean. Let's goto Scott line one. Hey, Scott,
is he there? Yeah? Scott, what do you think? My
question? So, I here's myquestion for Justin with people that do the

(37:15):
separate bank account, then what doyou guys do, especially where kids are
involved. If say one of youwere to lose your job, would you
support that other spouse? How doesthat kind of faster? Yeah? I
mean I hope that never happens, but I would support and I'm sure she
would support me. Yeah, wewould be well. Plus is temporary,

(37:36):
right, I mean, it's notlike you're going to be out of work
forever. Well after what the divorcelawyer said. If you heard this,
Scott, you know so if Ilost my job, then she would be
the breadwinner and she might lose well, I think it would. It would
be short lived. You would shrinkin her mind in every possible way.
You would be working very soon after. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I
would think Scott that you know, our relationship is strong enough where no matter

(37:59):
what happens, you know, truth, thick and thin, we would support
each other. Okay, you thinkyou know? Well, yeah, I
actually know a couple when someone didlose their job and the other one didn't
help with the part. Okay, that's insanity. Well then you shouldn't be
married. I know. I don'tknow why they're married, but it was

(38:20):
like he was in charge of thehealth insurance and when he didn't have any
more through his job, she madeeven go buy it, taking it through
her job. Yeah. See,they shouldn't even know each other. Let's
go to Christine. Christine, you'reup next to your thoughts. I So
I was just calling because I actuallywork with my husband always always shocking.

(38:44):
Yeah, it's it's a lot,it's a lot of togetherness, but I
do love it. He's a chefin a restaurant and I work at that
restaurant. Oh the classic waitress chefoothat's so called. He was cheffing and
you waitressing for each other. Howdid you get together at the restaurant we

(39:08):
did? I'm actually the I don'tknow if you remember this Thursday wedding Omber,
Yes, she got married on Thursday. You were making fun of rebellion.
Oh yeah, well that's good. You want to give the restaurant a
shout out, I mean always DiaselRestaurant in Medfields. It is amazing.

(39:35):
I'm pretty sure it was actually featuredon TV Diner one. Well, there
you go. What's the name ofit? Baseel Restaurant in Medfield? Basil,
Basil, Basil. Oh, youinterviewed that chef. I think.
I think my husband remember that?Remember I remember that? Yeah, you
were all excited about it. Thecandid microphone, No one ever knows when

(40:02):
he's talking into the candid microphone.Tink of that too. Okay, you're
a cook and make me some naggs, but you're not a celebrity. Okay,
hended microphone Lisa Kiss. Well,we don't do this often, but
we have a topic time emergency.Francesca's on the line. Good morning,

(40:22):
Francesca, what's going on in yourlife right now. Hi, Billity.
So I just moved in with myboyfriend and it's been going really great.
It's been really fun, but thereare some complications. So he has two
kids and he has an ex wife, which is, you know something,

(40:42):
and so we're kind of just navigatingliving together while also I have my own
wants and needs of marriage and babies. We've been dating about a year and
a half, and uh, youknow, it's been a topic of conversation
and I'm patient, but he's notquite ready. And that's totally fine,

(41:05):
because you know, divorce can betraumatic, as I think some of you
know. So I guess I'm justwanting some advice and if marriage and you
know, all of that is somethingI should really be worried about, or
it's just enjoying the relationship, eventhough I know the baby part is kind
of a different subject in and ofitself. So your wanting need is that

(41:27):
you want a child right away, and he doesn't think he's ready. Yes,
So my advice just get him liquoredup. Just get him liquored up.
What happens now, nobody's false, just happen I do. Honestly,
we're listening together. I mean yeah. I mean I don't want to pressure
too much. Well, can Iask how old you are if you don't

(41:47):
mind, I'm thirty three, okay, thirty nine. You have a little
bit of you know? Well, yeah, yes, exactly. So have
you talk to him about it openly? I mean he is aware of Yes,
there's been some arguments more about likeI guess and I like to fast

(42:08):
forward me when I get excited aboutsomething. It's like when we met,
I was like, oh my gosh, I love you. And we did
wait about a year and a halfto move in together, so I think
we did a good job of waitingfor that. How do I just want
everything to happen now? I'm like, okay, now can we get mad
and have baby? How much ofhis reluctance do you think has to do
with the ex A lot? Somuch. She has traumatized him moving him

(42:34):
across the country because she was gettingremarried here. They were living in Colorado,
and then they were like, letme just she she said, oh,
I'm going to move to Massachusetts toget remarried and they have kids together.
So he went with her and that'swhere I met and I wouldn't you
know, obviously, I'm in Massachusetts, so I'm happy that that happened,

(42:55):
But it traumatized him. He doesnot really trust women very He just needs
time. He just needs time. That's all it is. I think,
trust the process and talk to eachother a lot. Yeah, well,
you can take Bill's advice and youknow, give him some some schnops on
a Friday night. Absolutely really goodtequila. You're very fast. You know

(43:15):
what they say, tequila makes herclose, come off, come off.
It says it right there in thesong for God's sake, Oh God,
all right,
