Speaker 4 (00:18):
I guess I need water, ladies and sholemen. Wait, yeah
to Billy and Lisa show is back. We are back
from a vacation. Oh boy, that first morning, I gotta
tell you, I couldn't sleep. I left the boat this

(00:40):
morning at about quarter three in the morning. I said,
what am I going to do now? So I went
by the house just to check on the mail and
everything else, and then made it here early. And anyway,
we're back in Lisa. How is your vacation? You lost
your voice?

Speaker 1 (00:53):
I know I have this weird cold going around.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
In the summer, A summer cold.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
It's weird, but I guess it is going around. It
started in South Carolina. I had a great week.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
I'm sure you did.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
Culminated with the Noah Coon Show on Saturday night. It
was really fabulous.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
Yeah. I think everybody in America went to Noahcon except me.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
You're the only one on the show. Yeah, definitely.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
Well, I was away. I was on vacation, and that's
where I wanted to stay.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
I flew back early to go to the.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
New Yeah, I don't blame you. You know what it was.
It was a confest. It was an absolute contest. The
street was Fenway. Yeah, we're packed well for like days
and days. This poor guy, I felt bad. Boy, he's good.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
I mean, I got I gotta say though, Kiss went
to Wait definitely like if you could make the show.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
I had full.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Coverage every single night, completely, videos, pictures, everything, so all.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
I actually ran into mikey V on my way in
on Saturday night. He was leaving because he had hosted
that sort of prell.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
It was blanketing the park.

Speaker 6 (01:54):
No.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
I followed all of it from vacation. I thought, Kiss
and everybody did a fabi job. Oh yeah, but yeah,
and Justin you went in the pouring rain first night
to see Noah.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Yeah, Riley too. We're gonna break that down at six
forty because something crazy happened on the first two shows.
So we'll break that down and reveal that at six forty.

Speaker 4 (02:18):
Oh okay, yeah, yeah, we're digging deep into Noa Kan.
I gotta tell you, I'm so impressed with this guy.
Me too when I saw and we're going to play
it a little later in the show, but after the shows,
he he just sat in his hotel room and just
talked to his fans, just to him and a microphone.
It was just an amazing, heartfelt message from Noah Khan.

(02:41):
He's such a good guy. So yeah, people were crazy.
It was like a week of Noah Khan was a confest. Yes.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
And then coupled that with with the World Cup and
then the tall ships. Oh, the tall we are going
to have to take like a big nap. I was
like the city of Boston all like August.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
Yeah, crazy Billy asked me come down on Saturday morning.
I'm like, you know how long it would take to
get in there?

Speaker 7 (03:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:04):
I have this signs everywhere shut down road closures. Yeah,
you're lucky you're on the dock. You can see them.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
Well, we had to pull in because they were going
to shut down the harbor, so we had to pull in.
We were away on the boat by Friday night. We
would not be allowed in the harbor Saturday morning because
of the parade. Although coming in we passed a lot
of the ships on anchor out by the Haunt and
that was such a cool thing to see in the

(03:31):
midst all these tall ships just floating around. It was
really cool, but just a crazy weekend in the city.
It went from Noah kN to Sail Boston and I'm
telling you a sea of humanity all weekend around the harbor.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Well, I mentioned the Noah Khan thing and if you
couldn't make the show, you just follow on social media.
That's how it is with the tall ships. I like
looking at on the TV this morning on w b Z.
You look great on the screen. Oh yeah, I can't
spend hours trying to get in. You see the people
it was there, millions.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
Yeah, security check. I'm still wearing. We have to wear
wristbands just to get back to our boats. I mean
security checks everywhere all over the parking lots, the roads
were all closed. And here's the thing. I'm sitting there
trying to relax, and I just keep getting dozens and
dozens of calls from people, Hey, where can I park?
What do I look like? Sail Boston Like, I don't

(04:23):
know find a parking space. You need a wristband. So
if you don't get your wrist bad, you're not wearing
a wristband.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Of the door you're not getting do you have you
as on right?

Speaker 4 (04:33):
Now, yeah, well, you can't take them off if I
stuck off, you belong to it. No, I mean, because
you need them throughout sail Boston to get back to
your boats. Right. So anyway, crazy, something very cool happened
to me. We were docked in the vineyard for several
nights and uh, Michelle and I went to the Harbor
View Hotel because that's where I proposed at the Harbor

(04:56):
of View Hotel. We were docked behind the hotel in
Egertown and a young couple came up to me at
the bar and they said, oh my god, can we
take a picture. They said, we listen every single morning
to the billion Lisa Morning Show, and five minutes ago
we just got engaged. I just got the chills again

(05:20):
because they got engaged in the very spot where I
proposed to Michelle, and I said, oh my god, that's amazing.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
And they didn't know that.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
They had no idea. So I actually have their names.
I put them in my phone. I didn't want to.
I want to give them a shout out. Bridget Smith
and Michael Klagtt. So they got engaged last week on
Martha's Vineyards, So shout out to them and good luck. Wow,
that's very cool. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Yeah, I was in Old Orchard Beach the first weekend there,
and actually I have a shout out too. While we're
doing shout out from vacation. Yeah, I ran into a listener,
lovely lovely, lovely woman, and she actually heard you talking
about Gal's best pad. Oh yeah, and started fostering puppies
from talking about them. It's a really cool story. So

(06:07):
I want to give a shout out to her. Her
instagram is Hope for Blue Skies. Mary is her name.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
At least any shout outs from South Carolina.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
I did meet a lot of listeners on the plane.
I met a lot of listeners and Noah Kon They're
all amazing. Yeah, they love the show, so I.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
Love them when you go down to South Carolina because
the pictures are like, it just seems it was such
a happy place.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
It was a happy place. It's just extremely hot. You
know how hot it was here? Add on like ten
or twenty degrees. It was like it was like a
steam oven.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
My wife is in North Carolina. She's been there all weekend. Right, Oh,
this is that getaway? Yeah, the girl her.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
Best friends down there. It's it's very hot. She said,
it feels like one hundred.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
And you know, I love the heat, and I was
still running. Oh I won my road race.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
Oh that's right, she defend I defended number one.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Yeah, I won my age division, which is totally fine,
happy to do it, but yeah, but it was I
would run every day. But then, like you couldn't even
be on the beach it was so hot.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
Well you think it's hot here now the heat Dome
is coming back. Oh we have a heat wave.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Coming yes, right, starting tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
So tomorrow and Wednesday are going to be over ninety
degrees From the.

Speaker 8 (07:15):
Planet Fitness Kiss one O eight Studios, We're back with
Villy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
Hey guys, welcome back. Yeah, we're back from vacation. We're
all here and ready to go. And I think everybody
except for me got to go to Noah Khan. Last
week is four sold out shows at Fenway Park, the Confest,
as I like to call it. We're going to take
it chronologically, so justin you and Riley went in the

(07:42):
pouring rain. I was watching some of the highlights on it.
And by the way, the radio station did an amazing job.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
Amazing But that was the first night that was Tuesday night.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
So was it cold and rainy and sideways rain? How
bad was it at Fenlay?

Speaker 3 (07:56):
It wasn't cold, but it did not It did not
stop raining. There was no give. I was hoping by
the time the show started eight o'clock he went on
stage eight o'clock that it would It didn't, but they
had one ticket for me and one ticket for Riley,
So we got down there.

Speaker 4 (08:11):
Kiss.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
It was that game on doing kind of a live
set up there and we just had to walk out
in the pouring rain. Riley and I everything was soaked.
Mikey V joined us. I posted a picture. His ticket
was completely ruined, but luckily they stamped you when you
got in. And first of all, for the show, listen.
I'm not the biggest noahkn fan, but I am now

(08:33):
what you have to be. I can only describe it
as the male Taylor Swift. It is a complete phenomenon
to see four sold out shows, everybody singing every word
to every song, and the people that couldn't make it
in outside on lands Down Street thousands.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
I have to say that I am more a fan
of the of the Noah kN fans like I was
every word, every single word of every song. Yeah, dancing
like so happy. Even the ones that couldn't get into
Fenway on Lansdowne Street, We're just.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
They just showed up. They packed the streets around Fenway,
even though they didn't have tickets. They just wanted to
be near Noah Khan. It's amazing, You're right. So the
male Taylor Swift.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
So a couple of highlights from the Tuesday show. One,
he came out eight o'clock on time. I love that
Drake May joined them on the video screen. Every night
a different person joined. Drake May sent a message which
was nice. And then Mikey, Vee and I went and
upgraded two fans the grand stands all the way uptop
a mom and a daughter the daughter's first concert, and

(09:37):
we walked them down to the turf. It was insane.
It was I get chills thinking about it. The video
was on the Kiss Instagram, you could check it out.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
Imagine they went from nose bleed seeds, yeah, down to
the turf.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
They couldn't they couldn't believe it. It was a really
great moment. So then we're down on the turf and
I'm sitting with Mikey and Riley and everybody, and then
I get pulled away with Mikey v and to meet
with the label and they kind of like took us
into like a VIP section, which was really cool. Got
to go indoors for a little while and then to
a little kind of VIP section on the turf right

(10:09):
in front of the stage. And so I said to
the boss, I said, hey, we got to get Riley.
She's in over there, and he goes, don't worry about Riley.
He goes, I have a little secret. We know she's
the biggest Noah Kan fan. We got her two tickets
for tomorrow, the Wednesday show. Yeah, and he said, we
got her a VIP bracelet and something amazing could happen.
We think it's going to happen. And I was like,

(10:30):
what is it? I didn't know. So Riley, you went
to the Wednesday show? What the hell happened? Did it happen?

Speaker 2 (10:36):
The special thing? Did happen?

Speaker 9 (10:39):
So me and my brother were in the VIP tent
and after the show was over, it was incredible, just amazing.
They were like, don't leave, and again I had to
get up for work next day, and I was like, Okay,
I'm not leaving. I'm not leaving, and they were like,
we have rist bands to go to this after party.
Noah kN might be there, and I was like, okay,

(11:00):
now where was.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
The after party?

Speaker 3 (11:01):
It was even in the same room that I went to,
kind of behind the stage, up the stairs, up the elevator.

Speaker 9 (11:06):
Probably yeah, it was just it was in Fedoay Park,
but like up in like a suite, and so I
was like, okay, like he might be here, but who knows. Like,
like my brother this was like his favorite concert ever.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
He was like, this is making my life and I
was like okay.

Speaker 9 (11:21):
And before Noah Kan showed up, me and my brother
were like joking back and forth to be like, all right,
if he shows up, we have to like think of
a question that's like funny that like he'll remember us by.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
And he was like. My brother was like, I want
to ask him about fishing.

Speaker 9 (11:34):
I was like okay, Like again we were kidding, and
Noah Khan shows up and we're like, oh.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
My god, he's here.

Speaker 4 (11:40):
He walked into the room.

Speaker 9 (11:41):
He walked into the room, everybody immediately is crowding him.
Dylan grabbed him really quick and spoke to him, that's
our boss, that's our boss Dylan, and he didn't. Noah
was like, I'm on vocalist, and he walked away, so
we didn't get to talk to him.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
So we were like, how many people are in the room,
maybe like.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
A hundred people.

Speaker 9 (11:58):
And then a little while goes by and I said
to Mackay, but I was like, what's stopping us from
like going up to him, going up to Noa Khan.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
Mikay was like, don't do that, and I was like, okay,
I won't.

Speaker 9 (12:08):
So finally it looks like Noa Khan left, so me
and my brother are like, okay, we're gonna go now
this is winding down. We're not gonna meet him anyways.
And as we're walking out, the room is now pretty
much empty. Noah Khan walks back in. It's just me
and my brother and I'm like, I turned to my
brother into my head. I'm like, I'm about to make
your life and.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
I'm like, Noah Khan, great show.

Speaker 9 (12:30):
I stuck my hand out for him to shake. He
shook my hand. I was like, I'm never washing his
hand ever again. And then I was like, my brother real.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
Quick, just has a question about fishing.

Speaker 9 (12:38):
And my father was like, oh my god, you just
put me on the spot, like why would you do that?

Speaker 2 (12:42):
And then he like got it together and was like
asked him his question about.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
Fishing is any answer?

Speaker 9 (12:48):
My brother is a big, big fishing guy. And Noah
Khan has a video that video of Rolling Stone when
the when the album just came out, he's like fishing
in it. And he answered the question about fishing because
my brother to know why he uses a certain rod,
I don't know, and Noa Kan was like, yeah, I'm
actually not that good.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
We ended up being like, all right, thank you so much.

Speaker 4 (13:10):
Well, he was probably relieved not to have another music question.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
Yeah, he looked exhausted.

Speaker 9 (13:20):
Noah con like I felt kind of bad stopping him, actually,
but not that much.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
Take your shot, I McCabe, don't approach him. You gotta
shoot your shot right, Bill, Absolutely times. Bill at shows
over the years, have you been told you can't talk
to that sleve?

Speaker 4 (13:35):
You ignore those people, you go up to them, you
just ignore those people. All due respect. I love you McKay,
but you mentioned how he was exhausted, even he said
he was on vocal rest.

Speaker 5 (13:46):
Right.

Speaker 4 (13:46):
That's why I was so amazed when he took the
social media and sent off heartfelt message to his fans,
and I think we have some of the there.

Speaker 10 (13:55):
These last three nights, all of the love, like the
people outside the venue, the people in the streets so burning,
the people in the stands and the nose bleeds, the
people in the pit, everybody, Like when.

Speaker 4 (14:04):
You remember where you came from, you never get sick
of being grateful, and you never stopped being grateful.

Speaker 10 (14:09):
I will always, always, always cherish the time I got
to spend in the city with you.

Speaker 4 (14:13):
Wall It's amazing. Yeah, it is amazing the fact that
he would stop down at his hotel room after all
of that and just speak to the fans.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
And he was exhausted after the second show. He had
two more shows after that, and he has a break
on Thursday.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
Yeah, but I have to say he brought it the
last night. He was all there because you went on Saturday. Yeah,
I be and sang Dan and he sang like songs
that so many of his friends were like. I mean,
his fans were like, oh my god, he's singing this song.

Speaker 3 (14:39):
So what's the thing he does that thing? Riley told
me about this where he tweets out a surprise song
and he says the same thing in the tweet. Every
time it's like he names a song and says tonight Queen. Yeah,
you know, they get all excited because that's the surprise
song that he's going to do that night. But Friday
night we didn't go to that show, but Gronk was
on the screen there. So Tuesday was Drake May, Wednesday

(15:00):
was Big Poppy, and then Friday was gone.

Speaker 9 (15:08):
His story.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
Card scripis celebrated.

Speaker 11 (15:20):
Crazy or something in a.

Speaker 12 (15:21):
While you're.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
Plays and then Saturday night was his mom who inducted
him into the Fenway Music Hall of Fame.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
I know, I heard you had as much fun here
at Fanway as I have.

Speaker 13 (15:39):
I can't believe you're the only artist to ever sell
up four consecutive notes at Fair.

Speaker 4 (15:51):
I also have some news to share on behalf of
Finnway Park and the Boston Red Sox.

Speaker 11 (15:56):
You are officially being inducted into the Finway News.

Speaker 4 (16:03):
Yeah, it's so cool that his mom got to do
that on the jumbo tron, so he joins, I think
Paul McCartney, Zech Brown, Billy Joel Wow. Yeah. And by
the way, another cool moment, Noah con and his crew
from the green room, we're doing sweet Caroline, we we
got that the contest. Yeah. Crazy. Oh and then don't

(16:34):
forget Maria Healey the governor Governor a proclamation way.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
Yeah, she made July eleventh, Noah Conday in Boston.

Speaker 7 (16:45):
Greatness is showing the first lady.

Speaker 4 (16:47):
Yes, welcome to Massachusetts, welcome home, welcome back to New England.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
We're so we're so.

Speaker 14 (16:52):
Proud of you for you.

Speaker 4 (16:55):
Okay, a little one of my own day.

Speaker 3 (16:59):
It's just crazy because you know, he's so massive, especially
here in New England, right because he grew up here.
But like at my house yesterday, I had some family
and friends over and half of them had never heard.

Speaker 4 (17:10):
Of Noah Khan.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
My sister didn't know who he was.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
I know it was, but you would never think that
after seeing if you were there. It's a phenomenon, It
really really is.

Speaker 6 (17:20):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
His next stop is in Chicago on the tour.

Speaker 4 (17:24):
Onto the Windy City.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
Now is the whole tour sold out? I'm not sure
about this question, but to be curious to see, my
guess would be yes.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
I have to say. He has great merch too. The
merch town was amazing.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
Oh, she has it on, she does.

Speaker 1 (17:38):
I got my boys to really fun t shirts. Yeah,
great merch.

Speaker 4 (17:41):
It wasn't have good merch you do.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
It was raining so hard. I was thinking I could
have got the mer she got the merch inside, Producer Riley.
But I'm like, I gotta carry it around. Yeah, it's
going to be soaking.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
We we got it on the way out. There was
no line. Oh good, Yeah it was perfect.

Speaker 3 (17:55):
Yeah that's smart, that's smart. So Producer Riley, have you
washed your hand yet?

Speaker 2 (17:58):
Since I did take a shower, But in my heart,
I haven't watched it.

Speaker 4 (18:03):
Yeah, it'll never go away. No, it'll never fade. And
then what's your brother's name?

Speaker 2 (18:07):
Noah?

Speaker 3 (18:08):
Oh, his name's Noah. I didn't even know that.

Speaker 9 (18:12):
Yeah, which is I meant to say that to Noah,
con to be like my brother Noah. And then we
forgot in the moment, we were like, we didn't even
tell him your name.

Speaker 3 (18:20):
Wow, I know I would have led with that, getting
nervous in the moment.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
I already felt bad stopping him.

Speaker 3 (18:26):
Yeah, well we know what Noah said to Noah.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
I have this special fish call and they come right
into the boat. If you'd like, I'll catch someone show.

Speaker 8 (18:33):
You from the planet Fitness Kiss one O eight Studios
we're back with Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 4 (18:40):
Yeah, and the Billy and Lisa Show is back from
a vacation. And boy, there's been so much going on.
First of all, there's another heat wave coming in. It's
gonna be well into the nineties tomorrow and Wednesday, and yeah,
just raise that. The heat Dome is coming back. That's
going on, Sail Boston is happening, Wimbledon Tennis is happening,
World is happening. I mean, there's so much going on.

(19:02):
We had Noah Confest last week and now we've got
Benson Boone coming to town and we've got tickets. Okay.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
He was on stage with Mega Maroney this weekend.

Speaker 4 (19:14):

Speaker 8 (19:40):
Now the entertainment updates with a Billy Constat on Kiss

Speaker 4 (19:45):
So jay Z had his three shows at Yankee Stadium
this past weekend. Beyonce, Blue Ivy, Alicia Keys Nas joining
men on stage Friday night. That's Yankee Stadium. That's a
big lineup, incredible. Wow. Eminem joined him on State Age
Saturday night. And then there was a last night. Yes,
and there was trouble at the show last night, Yankee

(20:07):
Stadium fans apparently crashed the gates, which led to a
complete lockdown. It was a mess.

Speaker 11 (20:15):
The gates are locked. They are not letting anybody in
Jay Z's concert night three. We got thousands of concert
goers standing right outside of the iconic Yankee Stadium because
that being the night entry. The line was staging it
for over two hours.

Speaker 3 (20:33):
People were standing there.

Speaker 11 (20:35):
It was at a stands skill.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
They could not get in.

Speaker 11 (20:37):
I'm standing right outside of Gate six. There are several
other gates surrounding the Yankee Stadium packed with people who
are just hoping to get inside because the gates are locked.

Speaker 3 (20:50):
Yeah, complete mayhem. So the people that were inside were
stuck and then outside stuck.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
I know, but I'm glad they locked it down because
you want to make sure everyone's see and no one
gets trampled.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (21:00):
Finally, I think at eleven o'clock a little past it
finally finally opened the doors and the show went on.

Speaker 1 (21:05):
Yeah, that's a long time, A long time.

Speaker 4 (21:07):
Yeah, jay Z apologize to everybody. We've got a clip
of that right here.

Speaker 7 (21:11):
They explained it delayed to you guys. It was like
ten thousand people outside and they closed all the doors,
and somebody.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
Rushing up with the airy music, I know, ominous the
door and.

Speaker 7 (21:25):
They closed the door. You guys, safety and everybody safety outside.
There's ten thousand people outside. I don't want to stop
music people, so I don't shut up.

Speaker 4 (21:38):
Jay Zy. What is that music? It's like, I think
it's his mood music. I guess.

Speaker 5 (21:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (21:47):
But the like Justin said, the show got off at
about eleven o'clock last night and he brought out I
sure Beyonce Forarrell and Rihanna. So she was a little rusty,
well she said that.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
Actually she were saying, Rihanna's rest.

Speaker 4 (22:11):
I don't know if he knew what he was doing,
but Rihanna's just no.

Speaker 3 (22:15):
She acknowledged it. There's a different part of the show
where she goes, I'm a little rusty.

Speaker 4 (22:19):
Yeah, they're get me right.

Speaker 1 (22:20):
I mean, she hasn't been touring.

Speaker 3 (22:22):
Yeah, and Asab Rocky was there, her husband and the
baby was there.

Speaker 4 (22:25):
They had the baby was see that.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
The tattoos so that the kids scribbled something on a
piece of paper and then she had the scribble tattooed
onto her arm.

Speaker 4 (22:35):
Okay, oh, I like that. That's cool.

Speaker 3 (22:37):
Yeah, yeah, So don't get the horror music though, still
stuck on that got They'll do the next story.

Speaker 4 (22:47):
I should imagine. Jay Z has other shows planned in London,
Paris and Los Angeles. Here in Boston, of course. And
Noah Khan had his four sold out shows at Fenway.
It was an absolute contest, one hundred and fifty thousand
people in four nights. Even he was blown away and
addressed fans from his hotel room the last three nights.

Speaker 10 (23:05):
All the love, like the people outside the venue, the
people in the streets celeburning, the people in the stands
and the nose bleeds, the people in the pit, everybody,
Like when you remember where you came from, you never
get sick of being grateful, and you never stop being grateful.
I will always, always, always cherish the time I got.

Speaker 4 (23:21):
To spend in the city with you all. Well, if
I ever have a message to share, I'm gonna call
Noa Khan ask him to help me out. This guy
knows how to speak to his people.

Speaker 1 (23:32):
Right next.

Speaker 3 (23:33):
Yeah, it's not the kind of the appeal to him.
He's just like a regular dude, absolutely, you know, and
shout out to you know, the people that you know.
We're trying to win the tickets on Kiss went away
for talkback for tickets. Yeah, you know, we got people
right up front the pit.

Speaker 14 (23:45):
Good morning Billy and Lisa and producer Riley, Thank you,
Kiss want to wait for sending us to the Noakon concert.
It was truly historic and amazing to be part of
a crowd full of energy and love for Noah con
really amazing and Fenway Park it was a home run.
Thank you guys so much. You helped us cross the

(24:08):
great divine.

Speaker 3 (24:09):
Wow, well said, Well said yeah. It was also a
cool video of mikey V and Gianna. They paid they
gave away tickets to one of the winners and they
had him on video like FaceTime. Then the girl facetimed
her friend that she was taking they were all on FaceTime.
Was that was actually really cool?

Speaker 4 (24:26):
Riley, you got to meet him?

Speaker 6 (24:28):
I did.

Speaker 9 (24:29):
I did get to meet Noacon really quickly shook his hand,
never washed my hand again.

Speaker 4 (24:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (24:33):
Yeah, I talked about fishing.

Speaker 4 (24:35):
Yeah yeah, she'll be wearing that Noah Kan sweatshirt every
day for like a year or now.

Speaker 1 (24:40):
Your brother like must like will love you for life.

Speaker 10 (24:42):
Dude.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
It was all he talked about for like three days straight.
He was leaving like, I can't believe we met. O'con
believe you did that, Like I like felt like the
best sister in the world.

Speaker 3 (24:53):
Yeah, well, you get nervous. I mean that happened to
me at the Portnoy event with my friend that I
do only I talked about this on the air. No,
but there was a moment we were Dave backstage before
he went on stage at the book Club, and I
brought two of my friends. One of them was so
nervous to me Dave, so you know, we met him.
We were kind of standing around and Dave had bet
on the World Cup which was on the TV, so
he lost a ton of money. So as the game

(25:15):
was ending, you know how the time goes off and soccer,
it was at an hour twenty two minutes, so Dave
goes it's over. I lost him. He lost like fifty
grand and my friend goes, what do you mean you
still have an hour and twenty two minutes left? That's
lat And Dave goes, what'd you just say? And he
goes an hour in twenty two minutes and Dave goes,
are you fing with me right now? I'm like, oh
my god. He was just so nervous, got very tense.

Speaker 4 (25:38):
Yeah, so I get it. I understand you. Brother.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
Well, I'm glad you brought up Dave Portnoy because his
book did hit number one on the New York Times
bestseller list.

Speaker 4 (25:45):
Last week thanks to Lisa's Book Club.

Speaker 1 (25:47):
You were so excited. That's what he wanted and it happened. Congratulations.

Speaker 4 (25:51):
I did get a report.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
I don't believe it, but I got a report that
someone spotted ready for this Jordan Hudson at the event.
There's no information on this, but someone swears they saw
her there in the crowd at which event at Lisa's
club club?

Speaker 4 (26:06):
Really really yeah, she again skulking in the background.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
That would have been so cool if she was there.

Speaker 4 (26:13):
I got one report on that.

Speaker 3 (26:15):
I can't confirm it, so I don't know if anyone
did see her, let us know, hit the talk banks.

Speaker 10 (26:19):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (26:20):
So the Taylor Travis wedding happened while we were on
a vacation and we had a bet. Didn't win, Lisa,
did you win the bet?

Speaker 10 (26:29):
You know?

Speaker 1 (26:29):
Bill, I wasn't going to bring it up, but I
think here we are. I think that I did win
the vat because that was would she do a wedding
at Madison Square Garden? And I said yes, both could
be true, that she could be doing something in Rhode
Island and at MSG, and she did. She did get married.

Speaker 4 (26:47):
So how much do we owe you? Fifty bucks? So
twenty five each?

Speaker 1 (26:50):
So I'll buy breakfast?

Speaker 4 (26:52):
No, I'll ven woll you yep? Hold on? Are you
gonna hold on?

Speaker 10 (26:56):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (26:56):
These are crisp five dollars bills?

Speaker 4 (26:58):
This brand new five five you brought. What are the
chances of that stack of fives? Okay, I'm going to
explain it when I go to the ATM. Now they
give the choice of the bills. What kind of bills
do you want? I don't know how to I always
hit it the wrong way. I ended up with like
forty seven to five dollars bills.

Speaker 3 (27:15):
You've got a stack of fins there, or as we said.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
In the streets, Sorry, So what do you guys want
me to buy for you with my twenty five?

Speaker 4 (27:23):
That's your money. You spend it on yourself. Spend it
on yourself. Yeah, there's another tailor rumor. This one is
that she's being offered a billion dollars to do a
residency at the Sphere in Vegas or possibly even Madison
Square Garden. So all that's over. Now we've got a

(27:44):
brand new rumor.

Speaker 3 (27:47):
And I love rumors. Here, we embraced them.

Speaker 4 (27:50):
What we do for a living.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
Rumor. I just won fifty bucks on Yeah, you guys want.

Speaker 4 (27:55):
To make another bet here? No more bets on the bush.
Teddy Swims just broke up for the woman he just
had a baby with, and he already has a breakup
sonage called Breakup in Reverse. We have a clip.

Speaker 10 (28:06):
Yeah, I don't.

Speaker 4 (28:11):
Teddy is going to be at the TD Guard in
October ninth. That's sad. They just had a baby. Yeah,
how about this. Jason Tatum sat down with Jenna bush Hagar.
He's got a children's book, but he was asked about
the Celtics trading trading Jalen Brown, check it out. I
have nothing, obviously but love and respect. And you said that.

Speaker 6 (28:33):
It's tough when you know you're a professional athlete and
everything we do is publicized and nitpicked, and it's been
like that. You know, we played together for nine years.
There was a part, there was a period of our
career where you know, we hadn't won a championship yet.
But in retrospect, we were only twenty three and twenty

(28:53):
one years old.

Speaker 2 (28:54):
Yeah, you were a kids.

Speaker 6 (28:55):
So the expectations were so high, and so they just
had to figure out a reason why we hadn't one yet.
And you know, they tried the penance against each other
and say that one guy shouldn't be here or whatnot.
But the truth is, we had nine amazing years together.
We went to the finals twice, we won a championship.
So I'll forever be grateful for, you know, those memories

(29:16):
and the time.

Speaker 4 (29:18):
That we spent together.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
There you go, and Jannava Shaper will be back at
my book club in November with another author.

Speaker 4 (29:24):
I think you should be getting Jason Tatum now the
children's would that be your first children's.

Speaker 1 (29:28):
Boy Now we're actually launching the teen Kids Lisa's book
Club in October with Jeff Kenney Diary, but it would
be kid and maybe I'll ask Jason to come along.

Speaker 4 (29:37):
There you go. Can I squeeze one more?

Speaker 9 (29:39):
In?

Speaker 4 (29:39):
I'm begging Riley? Can I squeeze one more? In UFC
Saturday Night, Connor McGregor returning to the octagon after five
years away the main event, and he went down with
a ruptured knee one minute into the fight.

Speaker 7 (29:56):
We have the call.

Speaker 3 (29:57):
So weird every time like that, Yeah, not good. Every
time he like there's something wrong in his leg.

Speaker 10 (30:04):
It's that leg.

Speaker 4 (30:05):
It's the leg that he broke.

Speaker 3 (30:06):
Oh, and that's gonna do it? Oh my goodness.

Speaker 4 (30:10):
What's going out about?

Speaker 15 (30:12):
As anti club actic and anthesilkape.

Speaker 4 (30:14):
But Gregor's injured.

Speaker 15 (30:15):
There's some insuly he's dealing.

Speaker 4 (30:16):
With the Wiley.

Speaker 3 (30:17):
It looks like it's a fight leg. Yeah, it was
quite shocking. I mean, five years out of the ring,
there was a lot of anticipation in this. Yeah, it
looked like he was injured before though. If this video
of him before he went in the ring where he
was clearly you could see something was going on with him. Yeah,
the leg, but a lot of money lost.

Speaker 4 (30:34):
Drake lost a million dollars on that knee, one million dollars.

Speaker 3 (30:40):
I saw your son Chris Costa was there. Oh yeah,
if you've been on the game too, a ringside yeah.

Speaker 4 (30:45):
Uh. We're brought to you by the ninety nine Restaurants.
It's Colossal Lobster roll season. At the ninety nine Restaurant.
You can choose hot, buttered or traditional with celery and mail,
both built to the hilt with chunks of tender North
Atlantic lobster served with fries and with coleslaw. I enjoy
it with friends for a limited time only. You gotta
love the Nines. Let's go to Rachel and Medford. She's

(31:07):
call her twenty five. Good morning, Rachel. Hey, oh my god,
oh your god? Hello? What's wrong with their phone? She's
cutting in? Hello Rachel, what's going on you there? Can
you did you hear me? Yeah, we can hear you.
Now stay right where you are.

Speaker 5 (31:27):
I'm walking to my office.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
There's a bunch of trucks going by me.

Speaker 4 (31:30):
Okay, we'll just be careful. You don't want to get
hit by a truck. And especially because you just won
tickets for Benson Boone this week.

Speaker 1 (31:38):
Oh my gosh, I'm so excited.

Speaker 12 (31:40):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 4 (31:41):
No, Rachel, thank you for listening to the Billiy and
Lisa Morning Show. But please do not hang up and
enjoy the show. It's Rachel from Medford.

Speaker 8 (31:50):
I will not.

Speaker 12 (31:50):
I love you guys, thank you.

Speaker 4 (31:51):
Love you back. She's walking? Is that what she said?

Speaker 3 (31:54):
Yeah, a lot of people walk and listen in the mornings.
We appreciate that guy.

Speaker 4 (32:00):
Well that soundtrack right there, I want that to be
my new walkout, you know, just the end of the
song and beauty and a beat and no, please walk on.
I'm just saying it. So people ask us all the time.
You know, you have the topic time every day on
the billion least the Morning Show. Where did those come from? Well,
most of them just from a conversation, and justin this

(32:23):
morning somehow we got to talking about bartenders and how
while tending bar you can overhear conversations that are pretty
deep and pretty heavy.

Speaker 3 (32:31):
I have a good friend of mine who's a bartender,
and she was talking to us a group of us
over the vacation about the craziest thing she hears while
she's working as a bartender. And so she was kind
of saying a couple of different stories, but then she
told one that the recent one was there was a
two women sitting at the bar and one was telling
the other with their friends. One was telling the other

(32:53):
that she was cheating on her husband with the husband's
best friend and was kind of asking for advice on
what should she do. Yeah, should she tell her husband?
You know, because they're sneaking around. It was this whole
long story, and I'm like, what are you doing when
this is happening? And she's like, I'm just you know,
I hear the story. But then I kind of lurk
around because I want to hear the rest of it.

(33:14):
And then I said, do you ever like interject you
And she's like, no, no, no, I just take.

Speaker 11 (33:18):
It all in.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
Oh I bet they hear of you take it all in.

Speaker 3 (33:21):
Oh my god, it's crazy. So then I was looking
at Reddit and you know, I foind a list of
like the craziest things bartenders have heard. Yeah, it's pretty crazy.

Speaker 4 (33:30):
Wow, Well, lista something happened to you recently.

Speaker 1 (33:33):
You were sitting in a boss I was waiting for
a friend of mine, so, you know, you get there
early and I'm sitting and there's like a seat between
and I'm listening to this conversation these two women are
having and it ended up being someone that I knew,
and the conversation that these two women were having, they
were so misinformed about the situation to where I got

(33:53):
up and I actually walked over and I said, I
just want you to know that I know this person
and you're completely misinformed.

Speaker 4 (33:58):
You interjected in the conversation.

Speaker 1 (34:00):
I did because I had to. This person was my friend,
and I said, I just want you to know that
that what you're saying is completely not true.

Speaker 3 (34:05):
So wait, did you do the like say what you said?

Speaker 9 (34:08):
Then?

Speaker 1 (34:08):
Why freaking mic.

Speaker 4 (34:09):
Drop you mic drop? Oh yeah, mic drop. Yeah, that's
a good which takes another question. Do you step in
and say, by the way, I don't mean to interrupt,
but you're really passing wrong information around. I love that
for you, Lisa.

Speaker 3 (34:23):
Yeah, you walked away cause you got to have your
friends back.

Speaker 4 (34:25):
Yeah. You also don't want a big scene there because
drop Yeah, we away. Justin mentioned the reddit list. Here's
one Christmas Eve. A couple sat at the bar just
slowly realizing over about ninety minutes that they should just
get a divorce. Sad, not angry, just let's navigate around it.
They started a conversation. Within a few minutes, they decided

(34:47):
they were getting divorced, and the bartenders sitting there listening
to the whole story. I'm telling you, they hear it all.
I had a couple leaving extensive A you ready for
this one, bartender says, I had a couple leaven extensive
snm con tracked behind on the table. It was twenty
pages long. That's a loud night. Wow. I was reading

(35:11):
at my local pub. Overheard a guy on a first
date earnestly trying to explain the entire loan of doomed
Woman who was clearly just trying to finish her fries
and escape.

Speaker 3 (35:21):
Oh the Dune movies. Yeah, oh yeah, we gotta.

Speaker 4 (35:25):
Leave between bartender. It's also hairstylists, I think, oh, in
very much the same way. Here, a lot of stories
that they transfer and relate to other people.

Speaker 3 (35:34):
There are so many times I'm in public places with
my friends or even my wife and we're talking about
juicy stuff, you know, we're gossip whatever we're doing, and
I always stop and think, is that person listening to us?

Speaker 4 (35:46):
Usually they are. Yeah, I've got another one from bartender.
A couple both admitted to cheating. It turns out both cheated,
but the same dude and the bartender says it was
all I could to make up busy act like he
or she was busy working near them, to be able
to hear it all play out.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
Yeah, like cleaning up.

Speaker 14 (36:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (36:06):
Wait, wait a minute, I've been cheating with the same guy.
Hold it was a couple. Uh yeah, oh that's freaking yeah, wow,
oh my god, geez. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (36:16):
But when you're in public, like you know, whether it's
a bartenderor hairstylist, you just never know who's listening.

Speaker 4 (36:22):
I know, and you want to be listening at all times.

Speaker 3 (36:25):
Yeah, and we want to know you have a good
one for us our numbers eight seven seven six one
seven eight. If you're a bartender, a hairstylist, or anywhere
in public, what's the craziest thing you've overheard? And also,
like Lisa ever interjects, give us a call. Leave's a
talkback on the iHeart Happen Kiss one eight.

Speaker 8 (36:41):
Now it's topic Time with Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 4 (36:45):
Topic Time presented by Catches, a law group of the
personal injury experts at Catchers law dot com. If you've
been injured on the job, no fault of your own,
especially nurses out there, you can set up a free
consult at Catchers Law. We're talking about things bartenders over
here from their customers, and there are some pretty pretty

(37:08):
crazy ones. And I know we've got a lot of
bartenders listening to this show, and I want to open
up to not just bartenders.

Speaker 3 (37:14):
This is anybody could be hair stylists, hairdressers, nail salon,
nail all, yes, anywhere. But yeah, my friend is a
bartender and she heard a story overheard two women, two friends.
One was telling the other that she was cheating on
her husband with the husband's best friend and there was
a whole story that went along with it. And she
was telling me how she was kind of lurking, trying
to the.

Speaker 4 (37:33):
Whole story, leaning up, and that's what you do. You
got to lean in.

Speaker 3 (37:37):
Yeah, And then Lisa told her story about interjecting, Yeah, I.

Speaker 1 (37:40):
Heard someone talking about a friend of mine and I
was just like, I walked to her. I was like,
I just want you to know you're completely misinformed, and
I walked away.

Speaker 4 (37:47):
Okay, called the miccro.

Speaker 5 (37:49):
I love that story. It's exactly what she granted. When
a bunch of guys at the table, we're talking about
Julia Roberts, who went over and just nailed it. Good
for you, girl.

Speaker 1 (38:04):
Hey, you got to have your friends back, right, Yeah,
you got to do it?

Speaker 4 (38:06):
Yeah, step ups. You know what you've been missing from
the bartenders here?

Speaker 14 (38:12):
Everything.

Speaker 10 (38:13):
I'm just telling you.

Speaker 2 (38:14):
We're low paid psychiatrist and we know everything too.

Speaker 4 (38:21):
I've bartended for a long time.

Speaker 7 (38:23):
And let me tell you something.

Speaker 14 (38:24):
I got chipped a lot of money for keeping my
mouth shut because half of the men in there were
having a fair on their wife.

Speaker 6 (38:32):
Mind you, it was at a hotel, so that makes sense.

Speaker 4 (38:35):
But the stories I heard, oh my god, Oh I
that that's convenient of you're having an affair with you,
might as well be at a hotel at bar.

Speaker 10 (38:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (38:45):
Oh how about the tips she made? Yeah? Harsh money
for money?

Speaker 12 (38:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (38:50):
Oh god, good morning, it's the mayor.

Speaker 12 (38:54):
I've heard a lot of conversations between bartenders a club cafe.
I could write a book, but I did a Lisa thing.
This girl was telling the bartender she was having trouble
with her boyfriend because he was very well in dowt
and I finally I just turned to her and I said,
you sit on top and you spin baby.

Speaker 4 (39:13):
Okay, what is wrong with okay?

Speaker 3 (39:16):
Okay, we're just back from vacation. Mister mayor?

Speaker 4 (39:19):
What do you do when? What's wrong with him? That's
what we call on the Billy and lidsa morning show.
A curveball, Yes, I guess wow.

Speaker 1 (39:30):
He always brings it. Yeah, boy, he does, the Mayor.

Speaker 5 (39:33):
Of the South.

Speaker 3 (39:33):
Then we got to play a song. Come right back
after that?

Speaker 4 (39:35):
What the hell is that?

Speaker 2 (39:38):
Lisa?

Speaker 4 (39:40):
Yeah, the Billy a Lisa show back from vacation with
all Lord knows have stories to tell, but we want
to hear from our talkbackers. We missed him, we were
on vacation, so let's get some in.

Speaker 13 (39:48):
Justin morning him from Alborough. Welcome back everybody from vacation.
I hope you had a great week. Lisa. You sound
a little under the weather, but sounds like you had
a blast. Riley did an awesome job last week, just
to let you know, so she held down the floor
pretty well. All Right, everyone, have a great week, looking
forward to all the chit chat.

Speaker 4 (40:09):
Have a great day. Yeah. I was out at sea
for a lot of the vacation and listening to O'Riley. God,
you were doing everything in the morning. You did the news,
you did the traffic, you did the weather, and I'm like, oh,
this is cool. You know why I took I heart
with me.

Speaker 3 (40:24):
Yes, you were listening while on vacation in the open seas.
Were you listening on vacation?

Speaker 1 (40:29):
I actually, ironically I was listening to Kiss ninety seven
point three out of Savannah, Georgia. I guess who I
heard the v BRASA Well.

Speaker 2 (40:40):
I texted them.

Speaker 1 (40:41):
I was like, I'm listening to you right now.

Speaker 4 (40:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (40:43):
You must have been like, wow, this is well. Yeah,
because they're on another other market they are.

Speaker 1 (40:47):
I was it was really funny. Oh wow cool mony
guys back to West myke care.

Speaker 4 (40:51):
Just welcome you guys back.

Speaker 3 (40:53):
It's Monday, Happy Monday.

Speaker 13 (40:55):
Produce O'Riley did a terrific job while you guys were away.

Speaker 4 (40:58):
