It's it's vacation story time with Bill. So yeah, we
were all on vacation except for Riley. She did a
fabulous job. So we were vacationing, you know, on the boat.
That's kind of what we do. So we decided to
cruise down to Martha's Vineyard to visit some friends, something
else we do every summer. So, you know, for the

first part of the cruise, all the way down to
Cape Cod Canal, things were fine. It was very foggy,
but that's okay. It was I like the fog. So
we get to the canal, we go through, everything's fine.
We come out the other side. It's what they call
Buzzard's Bay. Typically it's horrific, but it was nice Buzzard's Bay.
It was nice and calm. Okay, following me so far, yes,
so far, so good. On the journey at sea and

it's just Michelle and on the boat. So now we
come through buzzards and go through Woods Hole. Now Woods Hole,
as boaters go. It's just something that annoys all boaters.
It's just an unpredictable little hole.
Speaker 4 (01:15):
Okay, okay, thank you for that bill.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
The ferries go through it. It's a very narrow series
of channels. So we get into Woods Hole. Everything's fine,
and all of a sudden, I swear it was like
an alien takeover of our boat. Gusts came from all directions,
blowing in different directions.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
So literally spinning my boat like a top.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
I swore we were being sucked into the earth by
an alien force. I had never felt anything like that
in my life. Okay, So we get through the hole
and we now were in Vineyard Sound and we're approaching
a vineyard haven. All of a sudden, Vineyard Sound eight
foot seas winds blowing like crazy. Water coming. Now this
is a pretty good sized boat. Water coming up over

the top of the boat, like completely blinded god by
waves coming up over the top of the boat. Wallets
rocking and being thrown all over the place. So now
we make it so it's like the perfect storm. Oh
it was, It came out of nowhere.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
Yeah, So now we make it to Vindards, it's time
to dock.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
We docked the boat and the rain is sideways and
by the way, also out there sideways monsoon like rain
bullets in my eyes. So I can't even see where
I'm going. But we docked the boat and then the
storm intensifies, okay, and so we're docking in the middle
of all this, and then we finally we literally couldn't even.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
We sent you a video, I know, we have it.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
We we couldn't get on or off the boat for
like a day and a half. So then finally the
next day, the storm was even worse in the morning.
So you're up all night because every time you hear
a weird noise as the boat is slamming off the docks,
you're thinking, oh my god, we're gonna sink. So you
get up every half hour you check, and now it's
pouring rain and then you're getting drenched and you got

to change again before you get back in bed.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
And Nick, what a vacation. I'm telling you it was.
It was the worst time ever experienced.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Every time I texted Billy, He's like, this is awful.
Speaker 4 (03:14):
Yeah, I had no idea. I was an old Oacha
beach having the time of my life.
Speaker 1 (03:18):

I think I called Bill. I'm like, dude, how's vacation miserable?

Oh god, I swear to god, I sniffed death.

Yeah, there's a video that we have. We're gonna post

a real sense of what Bill went through coming You
just look completely defeated, and you're like, we got to
sell the boat. Oh god, you saw that, Lisa. He
was completely disheveled.

I was beaten down. The storm beat me.

Yeah, and I finally just came back for like the
tenth time onto the boat, drenched again, and I just
looked at Michelle and said, I was selling the boat.

We finally got off the boat. We went out to
dinner with friends. We get back. My two friends Frank
and Brian had to come down the docks and help
us get on the boat. And now you got to
see it.

All three of us are grabbing lines, dropping fenders, adding fenders,
adding lines, just trying to save the boat.

Everyone wants a boat, right, you know you have to
deal with this situation.

Yeah, but in a weird way. Although you're terrified, you're excited.

I was amazed. Eighteen feet in the air, definitely.

I was pretty sure that you did see the story.
But I could not not do this story. It's insane. Yeah,
a grandfather he was charged and thrown eight feet into
the air by a bison.

This happened on Friday.

The guy ran behind trees to try to escape the
charging bison, but when he ran out of trees, that's
when he got hooked and hoisted who everyone.

As soon as the bison stood up, the grandfather is like, no,
we're out of here. For whatever reason, the bison, who
was still like fifty to one hundred feet away, just
charged from the grandfather, eventually got hooked, got tossed into
the air. They were doing the right thing, They just
just bad. Look when he was out on the ground
after things were settling down a little bit. I said, hey,
you know, as a former US Army paratrooper, I give

that lending a like a nine point five out of ten.
And he's like, well, if you just caught me five
years ago, I could have done better. So he was jovial,
trying to make light of his but he was obviously
in a lot of pain.

season for the Bison, so that's why they're saying, you've
gotta be very careful.

So he has a broken leg, he's undergoing surgery and
he is expected to recover soon. He's very lucky.

Apparently fans just crashed the gates. It was a very

chaotic scene, so much so that they had to lock
everything down.

Yeah, so some fans were already in, but most were
out and they were just stuck. Thousands of people.

Yeah, fans just couldn't believe it themselves. They were trying

The gates are locked. They are not letting anybody in
jay Z's concert. Night three, we got thousands of concert
goers standing right outside of the iconic Yankee Stadium and
they're being the ninety two. The line was that it
for over two hours.

It was at a standfill. They could not get in.
I'm standing right outside of Gates six. There are several
other gates surrounding the Yankee Stadium packed with people who
are just hoping to get inside because the gates are locked.

forced to go up on stage and explain what was
going on to fans here we got they.

I was away on vacation and know all you guys

Literally we were on our way out and I saw

Yeah, well, there was a couple people like milling around
outside on the balcony, but I think like the people
that were with him were kind of on the way
out and he was just coming back in.

So there were a couple people, but it was pretty
much winding down.

We had been there for like an hour.

I flew back from vacation early because I wanted to
experience noahcan at Fenway's so glad that I did. And
his mom came out and gave him the Fenway Call
of Fame award, which was very, very very inspiring.

I don't know you had as much fun here at

I saw a massive video last week where it was
him performing in twenty nineteen at a local festival somewhere
around here for like ten people, and then it mashed
it together with him doing the same song at Fenway,
and it just really shows you where this guy was
just five or six years ago.

And Also when he would leave the park every night,
all those people would stand on Lansdowne and they would
wait for his like on you know, his like car
yea thing to come through and he would lean out
the window and say hi to everybody.

It was really cool.

It's like everybody's a disciple now, you know. It's really
something to witness.

But yeah, that was a great thing for Boston, especially
with you know, Sale Boston going on.

It's been such a crazy time in the city. Think
back to World Cup when the streets of Boston were
just crazy with Scotland and with Norway and France and yeah,
France and Mepe. And it's been a crazy summer.

Really, and we've talked about that leading up to it. Yeah,
everything that's going to be going on, and we're right
in the middle of it. Speaking of which, by the way,
Sale Boston is going on.

The tall ships from all over the world are in
the harbor right now and you can tore them and
it's free. You can see them from your boat right Oh,
they're docked all around me. I'm telling you.

When we take the dogs out for a walk, it's like, oh,
let's go this way. There were more ships over this direction.

Speaking of Bill's boat, I did just post a reel

give you an idea of the storm that Bill weathered.

But the truth is we had nine amazing years together.
We went to the finals twice, we won a championship.
So I'll forever be grateful for, you know, those memories

wins in a row as they take a break for
the All Star break, don't forget the home run Derby
is tonight, Wilson condraras. Yeah, and the Red Sox is
in the Derby tonight. Socks are the hottest team in baseball.
They all they could make the playoffs. Who the thunk?
All of a sudden, we're talking playoffs. I don't know how.

I mean how they sucked. They lost almost every game
and they've turned it around. They're exciting to watch again.

Yeah, they got the Derby tonight, You've got the All
Star Game tomorrow night and World Cups. So yeah, down
to the final four. France and Spain will play tomorrow,
England and Argentina we'll play on Wednesday.

And I guess ultimately we find out who gets the
Golden Boot.

Hmmm, Well it's between Messi and Mbappe because Holland is out.

It's it's vacation story time with Bill. So yeah, we
were all on vacation except for Riley. She did a
fabulous job. So we were vacationing, you know, on the boat.
That's kind of what we do. So we decided to
cruise down to Martha's Vineyard to visit some friends, something
else we do every summer. So, you know, for the

first part of the cruise, all the way down to
Cape Cod Canal, things were fine. It was very foggy,
but that's okay. It was I like the fog. So
we get to the canal, we go through, everything's fine.
We come out the other side. It's what they call
Buzzard's Bay. Typically it's horrific, but it was nice Buzzard's Bay.
It was nice and calm. Okay, following me so far, yes,
so far, so good. On the journey at sea and

it's just Michelle and on the boat. So now we
come through buzzards and go through Woods Hole. Now Woods Hole,
as boaters go. It's just something that annoys all boaters.
It's just an unpredictable little hole.

Okay, okay, thank you for that bill.

The ferries go through it. It's a very narrow series
of channels. So we get into Woods Hole. Everything's fine,
and all of a sudden, I swear it was like
an alien takeover of our boat. Gusts came from all directions,
blowing in different directions.

So literally spinning my boat like a top.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
I swore we were being sucked into the earth by
an alien force. I had never felt anything like that
in my life. Okay, So we get through the hole
and we now were in Vineyard Sound and we're approaching
a vineyard haven. All of a sudden, Vineyard Sound eight
foot seas winds blowing like crazy. Water coming. Now this
is a pretty good sized boat. Water coming up over
(01:58):
the top of the boat, like completely blinded god by
waves coming up over the top of the boat. Wallets
rocking and being thrown all over the place. So now
we make it so it's like the perfect storm. Oh
it was, It came out of nowhere.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
Yeah, So now we make it to Vindards, it's time
to dock.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
We docked the boat and the rain is sideways and
by the way, also out there sideways monsoon like rain
bullets in my eyes. So I can't even see where
I'm going. But we docked the boat and then the
storm intensifies, okay, and so we're docking in the middle
of all this, and then we finally we literally couldn't even.

We sent you a video, I know, we have it.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
We we couldn't get on or off the boat for
like a day and a half. So then finally the
next day, the storm was even worse in the morning.
So you're up all night because every time you hear
a weird noise as the boat is slamming off the docks,
you're thinking, oh my god, we're gonna sink. So you
get up every half hour you check, and now it's
pouring rain and then you're getting drenched and you got

to change again before you get back in bed.

And Nick, what a vacation. I'm telling you it was.
It was the worst time ever experienced.

Every time I texted Billy, He's like, this is awful.

beach having the time of my life.

charged from the grandfather, eventually got hooked, got tossed into

It was at a standfill. They could not get in.

So we spent a lot of time on Noah Kahn
wrapping up four shows sold out at Fenway Park. Everyone
went on the show except for you Bill, I know,
but I was away, I know, I know. Riley and
I went during the week, and then Lisa flew back
for the last show.

I flew back early, yeah, to go to the show.

Get there, Yeah, and again. It was one of those
things where even if you couldn't go, just watching all
of the videos. I mean, kissed an amazing job covering
all four nights. They were down there live, we were
down there. It was just they did a really great
job so you could watch and kind of, you know,
live through that.

I watched all of it, all of the Kiss coverage
from vacation, so I almost felt like I was there.

That's how good the job the station did with Noa Kan. Yeah,

Exactly exactly. We had Benson Boone tickets this morning at
seven ten. We'll have more tomorrow seven ten. Bence is
gonna be in the garden Wednesday. Yeah, that's in a
couple of days. And then you know what, the next
big show is coming are Ariana Ariana Grande three nights
at the TV Garden. So the shows just continue. And

we talked about Billy's boat. He had a tough go
on the seas during our vacation. You go to Billy
and Lisa in the morning on Instagram, you can see
a little real there that kind of shows the footage
of what was going on with the boat. And also, Bill,
I've never seen you look so disheveled in my life.

Well, the warm embrace of the sea is not always
