played on Kiss want to wait, and you got to

Speaker 2 (00:30):
There was a blunder of sorts on the show Survivor
and it was the finale, right, yeah.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
I think we do. We have the clip of it.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
Yeah, yeah, Well, basically Jeff Probes, who has done the
show for a very long time, he basically revealed who
one of the losers was before it was aired. The
segment that he lost on. Yeah, it was very, very
awkward in the end of cutting to commercial and then
he ended up apologizing, where's you become the final member
of our jury? Take a spot over here.
Speaker 4 (00:56):
This is it.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
Figure out what just happened.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
So we just realizes that he blew it.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
Yeah, he handled it well.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
I thought, well, that's a billy thing, right, what just happened?
Speaker 3 (01:10):
What happened?
Speaker 1 (01:14):
I'm not even sure what's happening.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
But up next we're no final surprise for the player.
This is gonna be interesting whatever. And it was actually
like we said, it was the finale, so they finally
did announce the winner.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
We have a clip right here. No, you cut me off,
He apologizes, Jeff came, he went to break, came back,
and then it gave a big apology live television.
Speaker 5 (01:38):
In case you're confused, this is what happened. We were
going to show you fire making and then have the
loser of fire making, Rizzo, come out and talk about
how charming is and if he had practiced fire making
maybe he would have won. Instead, we did a Survivor twist.
It's the last twist of the season. We probab would
have kicked into the future. So now we're gonna watch
(01:59):
Rizzo lose.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Yeah, I actually I wanted to play that because I
thought he handled it well. I thought they he made
a joke of it. He admitted it.
Speaker 6 (02:08):
He owned.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
You didn't have to yell at me. Oh, you just
blew the clip of him. You were so excited. You well,
you know Wiley's I know because the winner's from Cambridge.
Speaker 7 (02:21):
She is, she's from well, she's from Hampton Falls, New Hampshire.
Speaker 3 (02:24):
Yeah, and now she lives in Cambridge.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
Nah, huh, the winner of Survivor.
Speaker 8 (02:29):
I just want to show people that he doesn't matter
who you are, your brain, brawn, your beauty.
Speaker 7 (02:35):
If you believe in yourself, you can outlast more than
you ever thought you could. You can push and you
can get to the end and you can evolve, just
like Survivor.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
You know, she's been on three other seasons of Survivor.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Yeah, which is kind of cool when you think about it.
Jeff Probe has spent his entire career with Survivor yea,
which is very rare in TV. So I give it
to him. And and she spent her entire life on s.
Speaker 7 (03:01):
Her name is Aubrey Brocco and she's a marketing consultant
and she won two million dollars.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
That's crazy, two millions. Yeah, No, that's a good hit
right there. Yeah, there was something with mister Beast you know,
mister Beast. Yeah, doubled. The prize ended up being two million.
Speaker 9 (03:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
Wow.
Speaker 7 (03:17):
Billy Eilish and Jimmy Fallon made surprise cameos on this
season too, the fiftieth season.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
Really. You know how people will say, who watches network
TV anymore? Well, people do clar Oh.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
Big Time Survivor is still on huge delice of America. Well,
how many seasons it must be.
Speaker 7 (03:34):
It's fifty fifty and they just filmed fifty one in
Fiji and it will debut this fall.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
Wow. See keeps going.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
So that leads us to the biggest blunders of all time.
And we'll get a start with twenty seventeen when they
announced the wrong winner Best Picture at the Academy Awards, and.
Speaker 9 (03:53):
The Academy Award for Best Picture.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
Go on La La Land.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Remember Then the whole crew, cast and crew came up.
They stopped giving speeches. And the best part is, if
you watch the video, you can see in the back
Emma Stone, who's in La La Land? Yeah? Yeah, they
start telling them behind the person speaking. Yeah, that's a mistake.
Yeah we didn't win. Yeah, then had to come out
and correct it. There's a mistake. Moonlight. You guys won
(04:25):
Best Picture.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
It's not a joke.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
This is not a joke. I'm gonna pray they read
the wrong thing. This is not a joke. Moonlight is
one best picture.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
Moonlight. Imagine the whole cast is on stage celebrating, and
then they get word privately we didn't win, and you
can see it in real time.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
Jimmy Kimmel's up there telling them like, this been a mistake.
By the way, it was Warren Batty and Faye Dunaway. Yeah,
that announced the wrong Warren didn't know what to do.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
He's holding the oscar he was presenting now he didn't
know who to give it you.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
That was a big blunder.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
Yeah, I'm about twenty fifteen Steve Harvey announcing the long
winner at Miss Universe.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
Yeah, there are.
Speaker 10 (05:10):
Two women left, Columbia and Philippines. One of you is
about to become our new Miss Universe, and for any
reason she is unevil to.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
Fulfill her duties.
Speaker 10 (05:25):
The first runner up will take her place. Good luck
to both of you. Miss Universe two thousand and fifteen
is Columbia.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
Listen, folks, let me just put you control of the
air guns. This is exactly what's on the car.
Speaker 10 (05:50):
Yeah, I will take responsibility from this.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
It was my mistake. It was on the car. Oh boy, Yeah,
where's the cardport? Working? Hasn't worked a day since. How
do you get that wrong? Yeah? This segment is bringing
back so many memories because we covered these moments on
this show.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
Oh how about twenty fourteen John Travolta messing up aDNA
Menzel's name at the Oscars?
Speaker 1 (06:15):
Right here, He's welcome the wickedly talented one and only
what a Dina Menzelle? Yeah, you forget his glasses that day?
Speaker 2 (06:31):
Yeah, maybe with the altitude he's always flying his own jet.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
Well, now he's wearing a beretable.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
Yeah, it's like he was in Calm.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
I'm like, well, maybe it's the flash, but he keeps wearing.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
It just because he happened to go to the con
Film Festival.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
He thinks you have to wear a barein and be French. Yeah,
it's a new God.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
And then, of course the Oscars twenty twenty two, the
slap Herd around the World, Will Smith slapping Chris Rock
in the face.
Speaker 1 (06:59):
Check it out.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Oh wow, wow.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
Will Smiff to smack out of it.
Speaker 6 (07:10):
Name.
Speaker 9 (07:13):
Wow, dude, it was a g I change, but name.
Speaker 11 (07:22):
I'm going to Okay, okay, okay, this was.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
Live greatest night in the history of television.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
So I remember coming in the next morning and we
didn't know if it was real or not. Yeah, like,
was it a part of the show. We had no
idea thought it was real. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Now we did have an occasional blunder on this show.
For instance, we made the huge mistake of how having
reality show Psycho to Reese the Judais on the show,
you remember so Teresa, we know you spent some time
in prison, but you came out of prison and wrote
a book, a bestseller about your time in prison. And
(08:06):
did it focus a lot on the food in prison?
Speaker 9 (08:09):
I really don't want to talk about that. We talking
about that. We're talking about the parents. That is going
to happen this Saturday. Okay, you're going to ask us questions.
Speaker 3 (08:17):
The audience are going to get to know us a
little bit better.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
You have some good.
Speaker 7 (08:21):
Laughs and have a good time, and it's all about
being positive, right, not negative.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
You should learn some of that.
Speaker 9 (08:27):
Yeah, you should have a podcast called Mama Say Bitches.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
You should listen to it and learn how to be
a little bit more Noma.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
Say that's just a colossal bitch.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
One of the greatest moments of this Yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
Just you understand, here's what you need to understand about that.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
She was booked on the show to talk about her book,
which is about her experience in prison exactly, and I
praised it saying, God, you come out of prison. You
have a great project, a positive thing, and she went
down psycho road.
Speaker 1 (09:07):
Yeah, she's a complete psycho, well known for doing that.
By the way, she was promoting an apparent at Lynn Auditorium. Yeah.
And then if you remember, someone yelled out Billy Costa
at the event. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that guy Bill.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Imagine just a complete misery.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
Yeah, it's kind of fun. Stay to you. Her podcast
is no mistake. Yeah, imagine.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
The ironies is who's sitting around listening to her to relax?
Speaker 1 (09:36):
Right?
Speaker 2 (09:37):
What kind of crazy person do you have to be
to be needing her to relax you?
Speaker 9 (09:44):
It's all about being positive.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
That learned some of that was so great. And then
one of our listeners, our talkbackers, called into Andy Cohen too.
I know it became this big thing got picked up
nationally at her Yeah, on the daily. Now you aren't
very nice to Billy.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
I love our listeners because they oh.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
Yeah, yeah, they're the best. I love. I like how
Bill said, occasional blunders. We have blunders every day. Okay,
how it is on this show. Yeah, I'll messed up, right,
That's okay. It's live radio, right Bill, Good afternoon, or rather.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
Brought to you by Bunking Boston, you Buncan. Comedian Jared
Carmichael will join us at eight fifteen. Comedian Gerard come yeah,
come on. Comedian Gerard car Mountains. I can't say the
two words together on Here we Go. Comedian Courtney Kardashian
and Travis Scott got married fast because old weather has
(10:46):
been un terrible. None of us wants to be huddled.
None of us want to be huddled under blankets.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
Who doesn't, I.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
Do doesn't want to be huddled under a blanket. Incredible
news every time, for real sick headlines, refreshing news.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
God, I'm already laughing at some of these headlines. It's
a crazy world we live in. But is the headline
reel or fake? That's the name of the game. I'll
read the headline and then you guys tell me. And
if you're listening in your car, wherever you're listening, you
can play along as well. Are you ready? Bill? You
look a little bit?
Speaker 2 (11:26):
No, I'm ready to go.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
Let's go. Ready, okay. First headline reads, woman mixes her
late dogs ashes into eyeliner tattoo ink. That's the headline.
Do we think it's real?
Speaker 3 (11:41):
I think it's real.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
I do too.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
People are obsessed with their dogs.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
Bailey, your dog who has passed on. Do you have
Bailey's ashes? I sure do you still do? Right? I
think I saw them when I went to your house.
And Bessie too. Yeah, yeah, this is real. Wild story.
A woman lost her beloved dog and had his ashes
mixed with the ink used for her permanent eyeliner tattoo, explaining,
he's going to be there a long time.
Speaker 12 (12:05):
Well, I'd say I went to pick his ash that
they said to come and put the ashes up, And
I was actually already booked in to have my eyeliner
tattooed that day by a colleague staff. And then I
was walking out of the Pets at Home store because
it was in the back of the Pets iron store,
and he's aid to carry a bag in a box,
and I just thought I was about to go.
Speaker 3 (12:21):
To Dubai as well to move there.
Speaker 12 (12:24):
I was living between countries and I thought, I don't
want to put his ashes in our suitcase. So I thought, well,
I'm going to my eyeliner tattooed. And I'm sure people
have their loved ones tattooed into body tattoos, so why
not just have it in my eyeline.
Speaker 3 (12:36):
So I took I took it along.
Speaker 12 (12:38):
And I was like, Steph, I know this is like
a really bonker's request. I was like, but do you
think we can put some of his ashes in the pic?
When she was like yeah, and then there you go.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
All right.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
I don't know how to feel about this.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
It seems we should get some massive eye infection.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
Well, I guess her beloved dog is with her, with her,
I'll always be with him, all right. Next headline here,
Apple is releasing a new standard keyboard with the letters
in alphabetical order. This will be good for Billy if
it's true, But is it. I don't want to relearn
the keyboard. Well, you still type with two fingers, right, Lisa? No,
(13:18):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
He's like every morning. No, that's not true. That's not
accurate at all. You want to go, you want to
go up against me.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
You use multiple fingers?
Speaker 2 (13:26):
Do I don't use the exact home rows, but.
Speaker 7 (13:30):
I use he does because I sit next to him
and he does do multiple fingers?
Speaker 1 (13:35):
Is it real or fake though this headline? Do we
think a new keyboard is coming from Apple?
Speaker 2 (13:40):
I'm saying no.
Speaker 7 (13:42):
I'm gonna say no too, because I don't know what
the point of it would be.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
Yeah, m that's a fake headline. Yeah, that would you?
That would that would throw everybody off totally.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
I don't know yeah what that would cause.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
But yeah, yeah, I took type in class. I remember
when I was young. I did two years.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
Ever took typing?
Speaker 1 (14:01):
Never, No, you a good typer?
Speaker 3 (14:03):
Not really? I type with like one hand oh basically.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
Okay, yeah, I know you mean one hand there all right?
Next headline here, family shocked to find a stranger in
dad's coffin. That's what the headline reads. That's all I'm
gonna give you. Do you think that this could possibly happen?
Speaker 3 (14:20):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (14:20):
I do, and I think it has. Yeah, you're both
saying real, both going real?
Speaker 6 (14:28):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (14:29):
Feeling good today?
Speaker 1 (14:31):
A family in New York City. You know who's not
feeling good? This family?
Speaker 6 (14:34):
Now?
Speaker 1 (14:35):
Yeah, this family in New York their morning loss of
their father, and they were shocked when they went to
attend his wake, Bill don't laugh, and instead found a
stranger lying inside the coffin.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
That's like, that's horrific, I'm not kidding.
Speaker 13 (14:50):
Or we opened the coffin, we find another man.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
And they were.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
Trying life for hours, trying.
Speaker 13 (14:58):
To convince us that he was our father. They say
that they found like in the same week, another person
with a similar name. We don't know where our father
is at right now, they said, they cremated him, but
(15:19):
we are not sure.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
Oh my god, this is a disaster.
Speaker 2 (15:23):
Boy Ray can come out with another song, Where's my father?
Speaker 3 (15:26):
This is a disaster, you know what?
Speaker 2 (15:28):
Imagine what.
Speaker 3 (15:33):
God, you guys are laughing.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
In fact, leave it at the funeral home, right knowing
that it's not their father.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
They're trying to convince.
Speaker 7 (15:40):
Them that, they're trying to talk them into it, and
then and then when they finally like own up to it,
they're like, we really don't know where you are.
Speaker 1 (15:46):
Yeah, yeah, hopefully they can solve the problem.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
Is this is horrible laughing.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
Imagine where is he?
Speaker 2 (16:03):
Like if he's not there, like where he's.
Speaker 3 (16:07):
Either well, they're saying he's cremated. That's very creative.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
This is a giant loss, cliant lost the funeral home,
lost dad.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
Yeah, they're getting they're gonna pay.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
They're gonna pay big.
Speaker 14 (16:20):
Big time. Okay, last one here, really, prince, you know
that would happen to me.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
Yeah, my kid could.
Speaker 3 (16:38):
Trying to talk to him to the fact that no,
that's your dad doing No it's not.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
Yeah, that happen. Yeah, all right. Then that last headline here.
Principal placed on leave over fetti Wop your book yearbook quote.
I may have seen this story lace.
Speaker 3 (16:55):
Okay, so then we're gonna go you think you saw it?
Speaker 2 (16:57):
Yeah, I think we're gonna go real Yeah, I love
this one.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
A high school principle in Florida has been placed on
administrative leave after she allegedly quoted the song trap Queen
by Fetti Wop in the school's yearbook. She's claiming she
never said the quote they're saying that she did. She's
in hot water.
Speaker 7 (17:15):
I did not put that quote in the yearbook, nor
did I approve that quote.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
To be in the eyearbook.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
We live in a age of social media where this
stuff can kind of go viral. And get crazy and
real fast.
Speaker 15 (17:25):
Some of the people were screaming about this, saying the
loudest don't even have children in the school.
Speaker 7 (17:30):
There were certain parents that went straight to the district
or straight to the news, or straight to Facebook.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
None of them even called me.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
Yeah, yeah, here's the leric. If you're wondering everybody in
love with no money, I.
Speaker 2 (17:43):
Never go yeah, you've been listening to fetti wop news.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
Yeah. By the way, really.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
Lisa O money.
Speaker 2 (17:54):
Hey, guys, welcome back. So this is very interesting and
I think it's typical of this show. So Rich Damari
years ago worked with us in the morning. He was
a producer on the morning show. He was a key figure.
In fact, he proceeded justin on the Morning show.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
Yeah, he left because you know, he's a DJ and
a singer and he trained me. He was kind of
like a mentor to me. And typically when you have
a mentor, you build a relationship, right, And in that relationship,
usually if the men, oh my god, you know, text
the other one, you text back. Not not the case
with Rich.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
Right, let's clear that what's going on on the Rich
Are you there, buddy?
Speaker 9 (18:35):
He is at that I returned. I returned every single
one of your sacks in the last couple of months.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
Justin blocked you about ten minutes ago. So listen, Uh
are you talking into a speakerphone? Didn't you work in radio?
Speaker 1 (18:49):
Oh?
Speaker 9 (18:49):
Sorry, I thought the technology was better.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
It's been a long time.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
Yeah, it's been a long You know what's interesting, Rich,
Like on this show, like Spear of the Moment, we
could put a call into like Jason Derulo. I could
get Donni Wahlberg on the phone at random, you know,
Mark Wahlberg. Right, we just call and they answer and
they come on the show. You're the toughest person to
book on the Billy and Needson Morning Show.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
I did is not true, Rich, I did.
Speaker 9 (19:16):
Text you like three times in the last like two months.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
I text you twice yesterday trying to book you for today.
You didn't respond, and then least the store.
Speaker 9 (19:24):
We don't need to get into that. I'm on the phone,
aren't I?
Speaker 1 (19:27):
Okay?
Speaker 9 (19:27):
You know what, right, Rich?
Speaker 12 (19:28):
What's that treaty?
Speaker 1 (19:29):
Justin like the hired help Bluck? No, okay, I don't
know what's going on here. There's yeah, there's a battle.
You're gonna have to straighten.
Speaker 3 (19:37):
This was a talk back.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
It was a talkback. It's you know, Rich, there's one
thing you don't do.
Speaker 14 (19:44):
You don't disrespect the godfather of the talkbacks.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
Get it straight.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
Okay, Rich, you might have a reality show, but you
don't want to mess with him.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
Okay, just call him back. Yeah, it's fine. I forgive you, Rich,
We're still good. He did text me back though, finally
this morning, asking me about kiss concert.
Speaker 16 (20:03):
Hey, Rich, Damari, Yeah, I don't think you're going to
a kiss tons anytime.
Speaker 9 (20:12):
Why does everybody why does everybody sound like winny?
Speaker 1 (20:16):
Okay? Could you stop with the winning?
Speaker 9 (20:20):
A lot of hate and I'm just so used to
it coming from.
Speaker 11 (20:23):
Uh yeah, because you hurt justin So yeah, this is bizarre.
Speaker 2 (20:27):
Okay, So you and your wife Rosie in a timely manner,
you and your wife Rosie have the number two show
on Bravo, and everybody's angry, Like.
Speaker 9 (20:40):
I believe that it's the number one streaming show on Peacock.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
Okay, I thought you were on Bravo. I guess one
in the well Bravo.
Speaker 9 (20:48):
It airs live on Bravo streams on Peacock.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
So, Rich, I gotta be honest with you. I watched
for a while for the first time last night, for.
Speaker 1 (20:57):
The first episode.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
Okay, and my first complaint is I want more rich
tomorrow on the show. Okay, I want to start.
Speaker 9 (21:06):
I will say if you're just, if you're just on
the first episode, there will be more rich tomorrow. And
there's gonna be a lot of rich tomorrow. This week
they released the teaser and that's the episode. They're going
to be a coppo Yeah. So and they were there
the last week. They were driving to Coppos. So that's
that's this Sunday. There's gonna be a good amount of me.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
Your wife, Rosie also worked this show. She's lovely. She's
a beautiful woman. Okay, by far, your intern, that's right,
by far, the most beautiful woman in the show.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
I have to be honest.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
Some of the faces are frightening me. And you know me,
I can't get past it.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
He only got ten minutes and he turned it off.
Speaker 3 (21:46):
Yeah, yeah, Rosie is really beul beautiful.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
Yeah, but naturally, you know, the fake faces are freaking
like I felt like I was watching a horror movie
for a while.
Speaker 9 (21:56):
Sore you're talking, you're talking about some of the other
ladies that are on the certain look. I mean look,
I think all the girls that are on the show
did did a really good job.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
And there they all have.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
Their own their own spark.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
Uh.
Speaker 9 (22:12):
You know, I like everybody on the show. Sure, I
mean some less than others, but you know.
Speaker 2 (22:19):
Okay, So let's get to the controversy. Controversy who's the
slam pig?
Speaker 9 (22:26):
I kind of think she she got that line from you, Billy.
I'm when she said. When I heard she said that, lne,
I go, oh, Billy's gonna love that. It's big and
Rhode Island down here too.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
Yeah, so Rosie called somebody a slam pig, and now
that person is calling Rosie names.
Speaker 1 (22:49):
So what what's going on? Are you allowed?
Speaker 9 (22:51):
I mean there's a lot there's a lot of back
and forth and that specific episode, I believe Rosie was
directing that a Kelsey and so yeah, like there's been
if you've watched the season, there's been a lot of
back and forth between the two of them, and you know,
it's obviously I think that Rosie is completely in the right,
(23:13):
and you know, there's a lot of back and forth
and that's the that's the nature of these shows.
Speaker 1 (23:19):
Yeah, well, Rich, can you explain that the house controversy.
Apparently Kelsey was saying the house was this this big
and not this big. So what's the story there? You're
building an.
Speaker 9 (23:29):
Edition, Well, we're building an addition. It's a massive addition.
I don't know why they keep coming at Rosie for it.
It's like it's when you're not from Rhode Island, it's
they can be kind of tough. And Rosie and I
from Massachusetts. Rosie worked on the news here for ten years.
But I just think that it's tough to kind of
break into this friend group, and you know, I think
(23:51):
it's one of those things that comes with the territory.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
So so this ten thousand square foot edition is that.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
That's not your.
Speaker 9 (24:00):
So there was you know originally when we were working
with the town, it was going to be larger. It's
around a five thousand square foot project, and that's that's
what it is. But when you look at the house,
like when you look at the house, it's massive.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
Five thousand square feet is big.
Speaker 9 (24:15):
Yeah, big house, right, we have we're gonna have two
kitchens in this house. Yeah, So it's like it's gonna
be I mean, we'll have a whole like guest suite
for people to stay at You guys are more than
welcome to come by.
Speaker 1 (24:27):
Okay, you won't even call justin back.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
You're telling us we're going to sleep in your house.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
No, rich, I gotta know.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
So this addition, is this Sinatra money or real house money?
Speaker 9 (24:39):
Well, this is you know, as you know, I own
an events company and i've you know, when I left Kiss,
it was kind of weird. Like when I left Kiss,
there was like one month. I was like, man, I
made more in this one month just doing the Sinatra
and djaying stuff than I did the entire year a Kiss. Okay,
so it was like.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
You're really going to take a shot at the company.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
I mean, we're live on the radio right.
Speaker 9 (25:00):
Like I was doing the numbers, and I was like,
I was devoting all my time to Kiss. This is
the reason why I left. Everybody knows that I was
devoting all my time to Kiss and I was just
making so much more money elsewhere.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (25:11):
Yeah, yeah, it was a business decision.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
Yeah, it was.
Speaker 9 (25:15):
It was. It was because I love you guys so much.
It was purely a business decision.
Speaker 7 (25:20):
Can we talk about how Dave Portnoy has inserted himself
now into this whole thing.
Speaker 9 (25:26):
Yeah, he's got something. Tea by the Sea, Yeah, tea
by the Sea. I honestly, this was like the coolest
moment ever because I'm a huge Dave Portnoy fan. Rosie
didn't like it so much and she wanted to address
it head on, and I think Dave had a pretty
good follow up to it yesterday and mutual respect I
think all around. But that was pretty amazing.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
So Rich, I'm thinking my wheels are turning. So, Lisa,
You've got Dave Portnoy on the book Club win.
Speaker 7 (25:52):
Yeah, So July first, you and Rosie should come to
the book Club.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
No, I think Rich should perform there. Oh yeah, that'd
be good.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
Yeah, yeah, July first.
Speaker 9 (26:02):
That's awesome.
Speaker 14 (26:03):
Wednesday, Yeah, Wednesday Night, Big Night Live, Rich Damaris the
stage bid.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (26:09):
Well, if you watch the Portnite video, right Rich, Dave's
all excited because Dave's girlfriend pumps up that Rosie mentioned date.
Yeah right, right, right.
Speaker 9 (26:19):
Yeah, I mean it was I think this show, this
the Real House was or Rhode Island and give it.
Give it a chance, Billy, because it's really good throughout
the season. I think like a lot of people are
really getting into the drama of it. But it's also
very funny, and so you know, Dave and his girlfriend
I'm sure are enjoying it. But a lot of like
the feedback I'm getting when I'm out at like public appearances,
(26:41):
like it's it's crazy.
Speaker 2 (26:43):
Why are the women all wearing gloves, like long opera gloves.
Speaker 9 (26:49):
It must be very trendy. Those are I think probably
the confessional looks. And you know, it's a very low show.
Speaker 2 (26:56):
Does that a look like you're going to confession?
Speaker 9 (27:00):
Yeah, that's I mean, you look at I mean, you
must have never watched any of these shows, Billy, because
this is very This is pretty normal for these types
of shows.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
He's never watched any of them.
Speaker 9 (27:08):
No, yeah, well, this one's very good. I've seen, like
I watch it by like proxy, like Rosie, you know,
watches like Salt Lake or something, and so it's on
kind of in the background.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
But this is the first.
Speaker 9 (27:22):
One that I'm actually watching. I'm like, oh my goodness,
these shows are good.
Speaker 1 (27:26):
Well to your I remember half.
Speaker 9 (27:27):
The stuff I say, and like when they when they
you know, have me on camera there, like I don't
even remember saying half the stuff that I said.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
Wow, to your credit, Rich, I swore off ever mentioning
or talking about housewive shows. But until you and Rosie.
Speaker 9 (27:43):
Well you did have an incident I think with somebody.
Speaker 2 (27:46):
Because I gave in once and let that monster on
the show.
Speaker 9 (27:52):
Well, you know what, I think that she's really they're
they're filming another season, I believe, and I think that
she's you know, she's kind of made amends with the Gorgos,
so maybe you can make amends with her.
Speaker 1 (28:04):
No, thank you. I never want to hear voice. You
didn't hear her on the show. It was pretty bad.
Speaker 7 (28:11):
Yeah, Hey, you know what else you loved Andy Cohen?
Watch What Happens Live? You were the bartender, did you see?
Speaker 1 (28:16):
Oh yeah, I got that was.
Speaker 9 (28:17):
So much fun. That was that was so much fun.
And it was Andy's When I was sitting in the
chair Billy, or when I was behind the bar and
I was watching Andy sit in the chair, I was
watching because I've worked closely with you, Billy, seeing you work,
and I was like, man, the similarities between Andy Cohen
and Billy Costa are so like strike it. I was like,
(28:38):
I couldn't believe watching him work and watching you work,
I was like, they're almost the same people.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
The two gay men yes, Well, throw my name around
at Bravo. I'm you know, I'm sitting here.
Speaker 1 (28:50):
I'm ready to go.
Speaker 9 (28:51):
Let's go. You know what, there's one requirement, Billy. You
have to watch the shows.
Speaker 1 (28:56):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
I watched for six minutes and I just kept forwarding
until Raised Rosie was on.
Speaker 1 (29:02):
Well, I don't play it well Rich, if there's a
check involved, he'll be watching, you know.
Speaker 7 (29:07):
From the Planet Fitness Kiss one O eight Studios, We're
back with Billy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 1 (29:13):
Hey, good morning, everybody. Welcome in final hour of the
Billy and Lisa Show. Justin here, Billy Lisa ahead of
Noah kN weekend, Noa Kan Fenway Park tonight and tomorrow night.
You want last minute tickets. All you have to be
doing is listening to Kiss. Want to wait on the
iHeartRadio app, which you should be doing anyway, Leave a
top bag, press that red microphone button every time we
play a Noah Kan song and tell us why you
(29:35):
should be at the show that's going on right now.
Keep us on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
Justin You messed up with a group chat yesterday.
Speaker 1 (29:43):
You don't want to do that. Oh my god. So
the group chats so like, you know, you love them
or hate them, They're just a part of our life
and culture. We get added to group chats all the time.
But you know a lot of us have group chats
with our friends, our close friends, and it's a way
that you can all communicate at once, right. Yeah, So
you know, I have a couple with my friends, some
just a couple of us, some are you know, more
of us. But we're trying to make plans for this
(30:04):
summer to all go out for a weekend or at
least an overnight. And so a group chat was started.
Now there's one of our friends who you know, he's
he's a friend, but he kind of annoys me. I'll
be honest. He's a little bit of a Debbie Downer. Okay,
So the group chat started and I didn't think that
he was added to it. I didn't look who was
in the group chat. There was several people in the
several guys. So they start like talking about the plans,
(30:27):
right we're going to you know, try to come up
with some kind of idea of what to do, and
right away I just start saying, well, I don't want
I'm not gonna say his name. I don't want so
and so there, and there was no response back. So
then I followed up with memes of like people crying
because he's kind of a cry baby a little bit.
It's a Debbie Downer, you know. So you're attacking the program.
(30:47):
I love him, Yeah, I love him, but he's a
little bit, you know. I Anyway, so I'm sending memes
and no one's responding to me.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
Okay, yeah, I don't even realize because they all know
he's there.
Speaker 1 (30:57):
Yes, And I don't know what to do. Everyone's frozen. Okay.
So then Blank calls me and I see he's calling me,
so I pick up the phone and what do you know,
he confronts me about it. Yeah, what's your problem? This
whole thing? And I had to be honest with him.
I said, listen, and I told him how I felt.
I was very att in yell. I was very clear
about it. I made a mistake. I got I got,
(31:17):
I got caught, and so he was Okay. We had
a good conversation about it, but it just got me
thinking about the group jet and how annoying it is
to get added to them.
Speaker 2 (31:25):
Well, you have made a mist but you definitely did.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
You attacked the guy. You can't take that back. I
wasn't attacking him. I was just kind of you.
Speaker 2 (31:34):
Know, Okay, you said I don't want him there, but.
Speaker 7 (31:37):
Well, I know, but when you guys were talking, did
did he talk about the fact that, yes, he's such
a downer?
Speaker 1 (31:44):
I told him that, I said. I did say to him, listen,
this isn't like a shot at your character. It's just
that sometimes you're kind of a downer, you know, you
know what I mean, kind of negative. I don't want that.
He protested against it. We had a little back and forth.
Speaker 2 (31:59):
Point, well, a debbie downer doesn't realize they're a Debbie downer.
That is at this could be a good thing that
you brought it up, because now at least he's thinking
about it. But I wait a minute, I apologize and
he can fix himself.
Speaker 1 (32:11):
Yes, yes, but I did apologize at the end. I
took responsibility. It was immature of me.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
Oh, he's gonna go overboard now with the niceness and
the happiness when when you do the event whenever?
Speaker 1 (32:22):
Yeah, ready for this right away? Another group check gets
formed with all of the guys except for him, them
being like, yo, you aren't what did you do?
Speaker 2 (32:34):
Because They're sitting there not knowing what to say. They're
just backing away because oh, Justin doesn't realize that the
Debbie Downer is.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
In the group. Well you got a picture, you know.
The group check started and we were all going back
and forth, you know, like a couple of people said something,
and then I started responding with that and there was
radio silence. Oh man, so I kind of like was
didn't I saw it, and I saw no one was responding.
I thought it was weird.
Speaker 2 (32:56):
I don't like when a group chat comes out of
nowhere and you don't even realize.
Speaker 1 (33:00):
It's a group chat until it's two.
Speaker 6 (33:01):
Right.
Speaker 7 (33:01):
Also when there's like fifteen people and you don't know
half the number, right, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (33:05):
You just have to watch what you say. I know, like, really, I.
Speaker 1 (33:08):
Know, are you in a group chat? Though I know
you at least are you? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (33:12):
Occasionally I'm in a group chat, But again a lot
of times I.
Speaker 1 (33:14):
Don't realize I'm in a group chat.
Speaker 2 (33:16):
Like Jenny and I, you know, my TV partner show
tells me about a show or an episode or something,
and then we get to talking about other stuff, and
I'm not knowing that the staff is in the group chat.
And if I have something to say that maybe they're
not happy with them.
Speaker 7 (33:29):
And Billy doesn't know how to use like the silencing
notification things, so he keeps getting.
Speaker 2 (33:33):
Dang, where's that dang?
Speaker 1 (33:34):
Yeah, I can show you where it is. I can
show you so like mikey v okay, he'll send me.
There's a couple times he sends me screenshots of something
on his phone and he has like three thousand unread messages,
and so that's all I can focus on. I go,
why do you have that many unread messages? It's all
group chats. He's just on so many group chats. They
have them all silence. He doesn't even respond to them.
Speaker 2 (33:56):
Yeah, I got to be honest. Group chats aren't a
big part of my life.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
Well, they're convenient, but they're also a pain. You know,
like McCabe that works here, he's the group chat king.
Speaker 2 (34:05):
He other numbers.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
Yeah, I had the whole staff. I love him, but
you know, I don't want to be in a group
chat with thirty clearly very lonely. It's crazy, crazy producer Riley,
I'm show you the queen of the group chat.
Speaker 8 (34:20):
Actually I did something like what you did a little
bit ago. I have a group chat of me and
three other girls. One of them lives in d C.
So we have a group chat of me and the
other two girls who are local. And the girl that
lives in DC has a boyfriend with a really weird name.
And I didn't know his name, and I was.
Speaker 1 (34:38):
Just gonna say his name because she's not gonna listen.
Speaker 8 (34:40):
His name is Felon spelled p h e l a N.
Speaker 3 (34:43):
She said, me and Felon da.
Speaker 8 (34:45):
Da da da, And I thought I was texting in
the other group chat and I said to.
Speaker 3 (34:49):
Them, what is a Felon?
Speaker 2 (34:50):
I think it's fal whatever.
Speaker 8 (34:52):
Yeah, but I sent it to her and she was like, oh,
that's my boyfriend's name. And I had to play it off,
being like, oh my god, I thought his name was John.
I didn't know his name, but I was like, what
is she talking about? What is this word? And it
was her boyfriend's name the whole time, You're lucky something else.
Speaker 3 (35:08):
Well wait, how.
Speaker 11 (35:13):
Do you say it though, Is it Phelan? Yeah, well
it's certainly not Felon. It never has been. Oh yeah, Fhalan. Okay,
thank you for that, mister wordsmith.
Speaker 17 (35:27):
So what you're telling me is none of your other
friends thought to text you separately and say, hey, he's
in the group chat, Like, what friends do you have?
Speaker 2 (35:37):
That's a great thing.
Speaker 1 (35:38):
You brought that up. Yeah, they thought it was the
funniest thing ever. They purposely didn't text me.
Speaker 2 (35:43):
But do they know how much you dislike this person?
Speaker 1 (35:46):
I don't. I don't dislike he's a friend. He just
kind of annoys me. I know you have these people
in your life.
Speaker 2 (35:54):
No, we all have at least one Debbie Downer.
Speaker 1 (35:56):
Yeah, in our group. When you're planning a night out
with all your friends, you don't want the negativity.
Speaker 2 (36:02):
No, Yeah, you want upbeat.
Speaker 3 (36:04):
You want someone who's ready to do anything.
Speaker 1 (36:06):
Yes. I don't want to hear about his ex girlfriend
and the breakup from three years ago. Yeah you know
what I mean, Like, we talked about that when it happened.
Why are we talking about it now? Yeah, just saying, okay.
Speaker 2 (36:20):
You're really this guy is never going to be the same.
Speaker 7 (36:23):
Well, he's obviously not invited, right, is he uninvited to
the Guy's Night?
Speaker 1 (36:27):
Oh no, we have to invite him.
Speaker 2 (36:28):
Oh boy, that's going to be uncomfortable because everybody's going
to go to silence, like Oh, he's coming in now.
Speaker 1 (36:34):
He's coming. We actually had a really good conversation and
I did kind of call him out in a nice
way about it, and he did agree. And he does
go into the negativity thing a little bit too much.
Speaker 2 (36:43):
He's got to come in hot with a joke like,
if you're all sitting at a table waiting for him
to arrive, he's the last one.
Speaker 1 (36:49):
He's got to come in hot.
Speaker 2 (36:50):
Was it, Hey, it's me Debbie down or let's go
guys around.
Speaker 1 (36:55):
It's just not that funny.
Speaker 3 (36:58):
He's just not getting it and the funny thing.
Speaker 1 (37:01):
Yeah, it's just kind of concerned with himself. That's all
I'm so.
Speaker 3 (37:07):
And we're back with Villy and Lisa in the Morning.
Speaker 1 (37:10):
Hey, good morning everybody, wrapping up with a Monday show.
Thank you so much for listening. Don't forget the podcast
will be up on the iHeartRadio app. You just download
the app right to your phone. You can listen search
Billy and Lisa in the Morning. And by the way,
we put up a new podcast seven days a week,
so make sure you check that out. As far as
the Noah Contest that is going on right now, Noah
con first show tomorrow night, first of four sold out
(37:33):
shows at Fenway. We have last minute tickets. In order
to win. All you have to do is well be
listening on that iHeartRadio app to Kiss, want to wait,
leave a talk back every time we play a Noah
Khan song. That's it. We're gonna start picking winners and
you could be in Fenway and before we get out
of here. A couple of minutes ago, we were talking
about group chat mishaps. I've had one, have you Let's
(37:53):
go to Aaron.
Speaker 15 (37:54):
Online one finally on here Forever.
Speaker 2 (37:56):
That's okay, Well you're on now Aaron, and that's really
all that matters.
Speaker 1 (37:59):
Really where right.
Speaker 15 (38:03):
Now, right here, I'm right here, on my way to Medford,
right out and over there, So I'm kidding, okay, Yeah,
group chats are I hate group chats. For one, that's
just my thing. I can't stay in group chats. I mean,
like maybe like five of them, a couple of them
in my family, so I really don't really pay attention
(38:23):
to it. But my friends ones, we just like we
just talk so much crap about each other all the time.
Were jokingly normally, but sometimes it gets out of hand.
Speaker 2 (38:35):
Yeah, but sometimes a joke on the text doesn't come
out as funny as chat, you know.
Speaker 15 (38:40):
And then I'm like and I'm like, we're all taught,
we're all t crap out each other, and then one
of us gets mad. I'ven't I ended up. I've I've
left this group chat that I'm in now, probably like
twenty times in the past one year. Like we just
we just we hate each other. Oh we still like that.
Speaker 1 (38:56):
I do the same we do the same thing the
same time. Well, just hit me.
Speaker 2 (39:00):
I'm in a regular group chat with family, because you know,
my brother is in Florida, one of my nieces is
in New York, another one is in Newbury Report, and
then you get DJ Kost and my nephew. So especially
around the holidays, we have a large group chat.
Speaker 7 (39:15):
Well, my family always sends articles like all the time,
Oh check this out, Oh check this out, and I
never do you never click it?
Speaker 2 (39:21):
Oh never, like never ever.
Speaker 1 (39:24):
Okay, I'm thank you, thank you being honest about that. Yeah,
because I always wonder that because we do the same thing,
we'll send different links to different things. I was wondering
if people open it because I'll get no response on that.
What about group chat names? That's another thing. Oh, you
have to have a separate name. You can name the
group chat.
Speaker 3 (39:38):
Oh yeah, I have a Paris group chat, the Paris Girls.
Speaker 1 (39:40):
See yeah, see what I mean.
Speaker 3 (39:41):
We have like our own little like logo and everything.
Speaker 2 (39:44):
You have a logo.
Speaker 3 (39:45):
Yeah, one of my friends did it. It's cute.
Speaker 1 (39:47):
It's it's very popular. We rename ours all the time,
Like my main group chat with my friends based on
something that's happening currently.
Speaker 7 (39:53):
Had We had a Karen Reid group chat too, because
we did the whole Karen read you know, bar crawl.
Speaker 3 (39:58):
Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, we had one a little icon
for that.
Speaker 2 (40:02):
There you go, justin what's your group chat name?
Speaker 9 (40:04):
Now?
Speaker 1 (40:04):
After you out of the the Debbie Downer. That one
doesn't have a name. The other one I can't say
on the air. Oh inappropriate. Oh he's not very inappropriate.
And he's got so much going on. You really don't
want to dig too deeply into his looking at it
right now, I can't say it on the Let's.
Speaker 2 (40:19):
Go to Rob in Sudbury.
Speaker 1 (40:20):
Hey, Rob, what have you got?
Speaker 4 (40:25):
Yes, good morning. It's it's a group of us, probably
a dozen of us. We've known each other for probably
forty plus years. Yeah, and you know, the group chat,
it just gets into rapid fire. So it's like one
comment and then it's just rapid fire, and there's always
one person. I don't know if she realizes it, but
she leaves the conversation and it and it's out there
(40:48):
and it says like so and so has left the conversation. Yeah,
they're dropped out, and this person's like contributor. And then
like we're scratching our heads like what's what's her problem?
And that becomes a conversation in and of itself because
it's like, is she done with us?
Speaker 9 (41:06):
Is she sick of us.
Speaker 1 (41:09):
Anymore?
Speaker 16 (41:10):
Well?
Speaker 2 (41:10):
Have you ever asked her in the group chat?
Speaker 4 (41:12):
Like we don't. Well, this is the funny thing. Like
we're going out for dinner this weekend, and my wife
and I are like, should we say something? Does she
even know that it like is published that she's left
the group, Like do you realize, like we don't. We're
(41:32):
not sure that we even like you anymore.
Speaker 2 (41:34):
Oh, okay, so you've got a dinner and it's all good.
You know what, do us her favorite call us back
after the dinner?
Speaker 1 (41:40):
Yeah, let us know, Rob, there you go. I love
that because you can see when people leave the group
chat because so and so has left the conversation. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (41:49):
See, I never know if I'm in a group chat
if in fact I am.
Speaker 1 (41:53):
You know, well, you have an Android too, and everyone
else has an iPhone. There you go, so that gonna
be a little tricky too. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (41:59):
The worst of the worst when it comes to group chats,
in my opinion, is when you're in a wedding party,
because you're in a group chat for me, with the
bride and all the bridesmaids, and then you're in a
separate group chat with only the bridesmaids, so you can
talk about all the secret stuff that you have, like
are gonna plan without the bride, and then you just
get inundated with texts from people that you don't know
(42:19):
and don't.
Speaker 9 (42:20):
Care about, like I don't care what.
Speaker 6 (42:22):
You're wearing on Tuesday night at the bachelorette party, or
I don't care how.
Speaker 9 (42:25):
Much the pizza cost.
Speaker 2 (42:26):
Just charge me.
Speaker 3 (42:28):
Yeah yeah, yeah, well yeah, too many details.
Speaker 2 (42:30):
And that's a good point because we're weddings so often
not all of the bridesmaids like each other. There are
different groups of friends.
Speaker 3 (42:39):
And they're a gathering of people that yeah, you're right,
you may not know.
Speaker 1 (42:41):
And then the offshoot group text happen, you know, like
a separate one like with my friends. Now another group
chats that's started without him. Yeah, yeah, it's crazy.
Speaker 16 (42:50):
At work, you have the instant messages group chat, and
this guy didn't realize that his boss was on there,
and he called her a the sea word, and nobody responded.
Speaker 2 (43:04):
He's not concerned.
Speaker 3 (43:05):
And then he realized she was on the group chat.
Unfortunately he did get tired.
Speaker 2 (43:10):
Yike, careful.
Speaker 1 (43:12):
Yeah, it's funny.
Speaker 2 (43:12):
Once somebody pops the sea word, everybody else goes side.
Speaker 9 (43:17):
With me.
Speaker 1 (43:19):
Let me out there, and she doesn't. And by the
way I mentioned earlier, mackay will start a group text
with like everyone here kids that includes the boss. Oh yeah,
you think we're going to write anything sketchy on there.
Speaker 2 (43:30):
Well, I'm always very careful because sometimes the boss checks
in in a group chat.
Speaker 1 (43:34):
I know, you know, I know. I don't want to
be on a group chat with thirty people. Just just
send me an email, leave me alone. Yeah, send me
an email. That's another thing when you when you reply
all to the email, that's kind of a separate. Oh wow,
that's another thing that it like puts you in this.
Speaker 3 (43:49):
Whole big thing.
Speaker 2 (43:49):
It's just wasted time.
Speaker 1 (43:51):
Oh too much. God.
Speaker 6 (43:52):
So I was on a group chat, which I thought
just well, but.
Speaker 7 (43:58):
Actually on it, one of my sister Ann was just saying, Hey,
you know, we're doing Christmas dinner at mother in law's house.
She's not catering the cheer she's cooking.
Speaker 3 (44:08):
So then I said, oh, well, if I wanted to
eat a.
Speaker 1 (44:11):
Whole bunch of food and no cheese.
Speaker 7 (44:12):
I get there and my mother and reads
