(02:38):
Oh my god, thank you guysso much. Okay, Billy, thank
you. No, I love it. I think it's so cute. Before
one, can I just say aboutthe Karen read Alan Jackson legend AI?
They have to because I checked offthe kiss Steed. Because everyone's up in
(02:58):
a roar well saying it's AI.No one really knows for sure. We
don't know, yeah, speculation thatit was speculative, and I asked an
opinion. You can go to myInstagram in Winnies World and let me know.
I'm getting so much hate. Ihonestly really don't care. I'm actually
just trying to figure outf it's realor not, which is why I posted
it. And it's already posted otherplaces. That's where I got it from,
So I'm not really doing anything illegalor whatever you want to say.
(03:23):
I'm doing so direct all your hateto Winnie. And where is it in
Winnie's World? I don't know whatWe go back to Justin Timberlake. Now,
yes, tomorrow, kiss one towait. We'll be at Banners from
four to seven. Oh yeah, you guys could probably stop by there right.
Oh so if we go, dowe get a free meal or something?
(03:44):
I'm not sure, maybe, butat least we're going to Banners.
Oh I was I was gonna goto Straga for dinner, but I guess
I can. Anyway, Weird Storiesis coming up in a couple of minutes,
And if you watched the debate lastnight, there was some some really
funny moments that you'll find in WeirdStories. That's next, Kiss kissed one
(04:06):
awek Okay, So last night wasthe debate between Biden and Trump, and
it was the only time both Mike'sstayed live and they weren't cut off,
and it was because they were braggingabout their golf games. I just won
two club championships, not even senior, two regular club championships. To do
that, you have to be quitesmart, and you have to be able
to hit the ball a long way. And I do it. He doesn't
(04:28):
do it. He can't hit aball fifty yards. He challenged me to
a golf match. He can't hita ball fifty years oh, can't be
happy to have a driving contest.I got my handicapped, which when I
was vice president, down to asix. By the way, I told
you before, I'm happy to playgolf. If you carry your own bag,
you can do it. That's thebiggest live And he's a six handicap.
Of all, I was an eighthandicap. Turn off. One of
(04:54):
those gentlemen is going to be ourpresident. Those are the two. Those
are the two golf game old guysdown in South Florida bitching about their golf
games. Well, you know whothey should have called, right if they
needed golf tips, and now golftips with Riley done of it. Because
of summer, it's really important ifthey hydrated, make sure you're not starving
(05:16):
on the course, and crumble down. Drink every hole and eat every two
or three holes. Just something small, could be a granola bar, could
be a peanut butter cracker, anything, really, you know, the best
tip was drink it every hole.Yeah, like a glass of wine,
possibly a shot at takuila. Thenyou're having yourself a game, you know
what I'm talking about. That wasa crazy moment last night. You know,
(05:39):
then you got Billy, I actuallybought a pair of golf pants.
So a California family had a bearsneak into their mini van and wreck the
vehicle while they were camping. Here'sthe owner right here, and I noticed
there was something moving in the carand it's still went to the beard through
the back windows like each other. The bear in our car and he was
(06:01):
trapped in there and probably start freakingout, started tearing the place apart.
Beyond all the damage you do itclause destroying the car, but he also
defecated and urinated in the car,so it stinks in there. Oh,
you have to just get rid ofthe car. Yea. Even more pro
animals are rising up. Huh.I'm just saying, when you go ahead.
Okay. So someone made a songjust using the word baby from other
(06:26):
songs. Yeah, So there's thisguy on social media. The name is
there. I ruined it and hebasically takes different genres of music and puts
them together and ruins the song.So you never listen to the same song
like that song that way again. And yeah, like when he said he
took all the times that people saidbaby babe, the baby, babby,
(06:50):
baby baby. That's incredible creative. It's really good. Yeah, seamless must
(07:14):
have taken a long time for thedude. Yeah, it's really good.
I think I heard a baby shockin that too, you did, Okay,
This one is in Connecticut. Thisis kind of gross. A manure
truck rolled over in a Connecticut neighborhoodthis past Tuesday after an accident, and
it sent manure everywhere, all overtheir homes, all over their yards.
I thought I thought about Billy whenI saw this story. Imagine if that
(07:38):
was near Billy's house. You moveoff near the boat. Instantly saw the
boat. I heard bang, likebang bang, loud metal. The truck
was upside down and it finally cameto a stop after it hit my neighbor's
car. Literally a waterfall of brown. All of a sudden, we see
the sewer come out of some truckand it which just flooded down our property.
(08:01):
Everybody kept asking, you know, was it really bad? Is it
foul? And I'm thinking, oh, seriously, the windows were open.
Yeah, I'm sure it smells grace. I saw the video of this next
story and I couldn't believe it.So this woman is a candidate for the
county board in Minnesota and apparently wasinvolved in an argument with a woman that's
(08:22):
renting one of her apartments, andin the middle of the argument, she
tossed a tarantula at the other woman. And she's actually defending herself right here.
The degree assault means someone only hasto feel fear or claim that they
feel afraid of bodily harm. SoI never hit anybody. I never touched
anybody. I saw her on InsideEdition, that's where I saw the meter
(08:45):
last night. Yeah. She's acrazy person, absolutely crazy. And she
said she was inspired by Home Alone. You know when the movie All Alone
at the end with the spider.Yeah, Kevin puts the tarantula. Yep,
yeah, Yeah, that's crazy story. She's kind of cute, though
they always are. You ever noticedthat they're crazy? Yeah? Whenne go
ahead. Oh, this is sucha sweet, nice story. A twelve
(09:07):
year old from Long Island, Ibelieve his name is suborn o'bari, was
allowed to shit five grades and graduateearly and has already started in college twelve
years old. I met so manygreat people, and I've learned a lot
in both math and science and otherdisciplines. But I think I'm ready to
move on and pursue my higher education. To the best of my ability.
But many people are doing it onlybecause their parents said so, were because
(09:31):
the engineers just make the most profit, not because they actually love what they're
doing. So I hope to fixthat and help other people understand math and
science and love it in all thebeauty fun facts or you know, an
in house fact I can give.So that kid was twelve years old and
he's going to college, The MightyMcCabe who comes on at ten am.
(09:54):
Yeah, he actually went to collegeand he was nine. What yeah,
all right, he was a prodigyand yeah he's but yeah he's like a
young Sheldon. Wait a yeah,crazy, right, you're joking. I'm
sitting a fact. I don't thinkthat college he's a he's like, it's
like super what do you talk He'ssuper human? He graduated. Okay,
(10:18):
you're lying, You are lying. That settles it. I got to start
hanging out with them. The Mightywe call him Mighty every day. Absolutely.
Hey, listen, we're coming upon entertainment. A lot going on.
We got Janet in Boston tonight. We got justin Timberlake in Boston Saturday
and Sunday nights, and and it'snew music Friday and Justin's gonna throw some
new tracks at us morning. Justin, before we hit the entertainment, you
(10:48):
just told me off air you wantedto say something. Yeah, So our
talk back, Mike, we encouragethat you use it our audience. You
can leave a talk back, whichis a message, a voicemail if you
will, on the iHeartRadio app.It is free to download. You start
kiss when a wait, you hitthe red microphone and you know, it's
a way to participate in the Billyand Lisa's show. We are not a
political show. We make jokes sometimes. We had a weird story a couple
(11:11):
of minutes ago about Trump, Trumpand Biden debating the golf game, which
was a weird story. But allthe angry political people are leaving talkbacks.
Some are on Trump's side, someare on Biden's sides. You know,
some of them are angry and attackingus. Listen, We're not a political
show. Billy has a news reportthat he covers all the news and then
(11:31):
the rest of the show is just, you know, an escape from reality.
And by the way, the newsreport totally unbiased. Okay, I
just want to point out there yougo, you know, but yeah,
Billy has no affiliation or anything friendof mine. Okay, well, come
on, Billy, we joke. We're not taking side joke. You know
what, I'm only joking a fakenews. Wow, the entertainment updates with
(11:56):
a Billy golf Day. Everybody's sotalking about how weird that debate was last
night. My god, it waslike you Grandpa's going at it. I
can't. I'm so sad about this. Anyway, here we go, huge
weekend in the city of Boston thisweekend. Janet Jackson and Nelly are in
the TD Garden tonight and Lisa,You've got a ladies night. The ladies
are going late hanging out. Andthen Justin Timberlake invades the garden for two
(12:22):
nights, Tomorrow night and Sunday night. And we're basically, well, most
of us are going Tomorrow night.I guess we're having our pre party at
Banners. We just made that decisiona couple of minutes ago. Yeah,
four to seven, Kiss will bedown there. Yeah. And Jelly Roll
is adding more dates to his tour, and he's also adding more people to
(12:45):
the tour, and Shaboozi is oneof those people. But when jelly Roll
comes to Boston. Chaboozy will notbe with him because Chaboozy's got his own
show in Boston like one week beforejelly Roll gets here. So we get
a lot going on with music. In fact, it's New Music Friday and
justin what have you got for usthis week? Well, you know,
(13:05):
we talked about Camilla Cabo her newalbum. It came out today, and
you know she's been talking about howshe has two Drake collaborations. She wasn't
lying, and uh, they're prettygood. This one's called Hot Uptown.
Couldn't give me. You know. What's interesting is earlier we played this and
(13:31):
Lisa Donovan made the well you noticethat it sounded kind of like Drake,
it does, and we just playedwhat's my Name? Yeah? Yeah,
yeah, so I thought that wasI thought that was kind of funny.
But yeah, the new Kamila albumis out today, and there there are
two Drake collaborations. Also in newmusic, kid Larroy his song Girls,
which we teased a couple of weeksago. It's been out on what for
(13:54):
months? Right Rennie on TikTok peopleusing the sound the beginning of the song
right here, man, I'm theMANA think I feel bad. He was
fed like cubans soon nice, hedidn't too bad. Yeah, yeah,
it's just like where the husband andwife get together and do a dance.
Yes, yeah, yes, it'salways annoying. Well, it's always you
(14:16):
know, it's either a bunch ofgirls. The song is called girls.
You just set up the camera rightin front of you and you do a
little dance. There you can go. You know, if you if you
follow Dining Playbook on Instagram or meetBoston, you'll see videos of Billy dancing.
He doesn't dance for us, no, but he dances for them.
He does nothing I asked him forfor socials over there one dining play That's
(14:37):
why I was like, oh,why don't you post billion on social anymore
doing like fun stuff? I gobecause he's not fun. Yeah, that's
he'll take his clothes off on diningback. I'm not doing a TikTok trend.
And then I go to Dining Playbookthe same TikTok trend I asked him
to do. He's doing. Youknow, you said I take my clothes
off. That's not a joke.Just recently, I was changing in the
parking lot, getting ready to gofrom radio to TV and one of my
(14:58):
producers, without my knowing it,saw me basically naked in the parking lot.
You know what I mean. Butwhat a lucky girl. Yeah,
okay, all right. Finally, finally, in New Music Friday Lil nas
X, he's saying, this isthe best song he's ever recorded. Is
from the soundtrack to the new BeverlyHills Cop movie. And I like it
(15:18):
because, you know, it kindof uses the original theme from that movie,
which came out in the eighties. You might not know, but it's
pretty good sound. So he likes, that's the biggest song of all time.
(15:43):
That's what he says. Okay,I mean it sounds like every other
little name, which is fine becausethey're all good songs. Yeah. I
like the melody. It's good.Yeah, that's good. Is that in
on New Music Friday? I mean, I gave you three big ones.
You want more? No? BecauseI want to talk new movies. The
Client movie hits theaters. We hadthe movie Nerd from Showcase Cinema's on the
(16:03):
show earlier this morning. He's goingon a movie Nerd tour tonight. Yeah,
he's really excited. I am kickingoff a tour with your own Mikey
P. That's great. And wethought he was making a mistake. We
thought he were talking about Mikey V. Right. No, there's a Mikey
P in the building, but weonly we know. We didn't know that.
But the thing is, I likeMike close, but he's like the
(16:26):
behind the scenes, like editing guy, Like I don't know he does do
production. Yeah, I don't understandwhat you're saying. Yeah, I think
he does do on air stuff forour classic rock station. Way So think
about this irony, right, Markthe movie Nerd was a behind the scenes
guy until we made him the movieNerd. Now he's got his own T
shirts and merch lords. We don'thave merch right, And now Mikey P,
(16:51):
who was behind the scenes, isnow on tour. He called him
Mikey nobody. I think there's alittle confusion there, Mike P. And
then he turned it into so welove him any way. Yeah. Quiet
Place is going to do at leastfifty million at the box office this weekend.
(17:11):
Lapeter Nuwongo is in it, andlast night she was on Extra talking
about the movie. It is aprechool We see the world when the creatures
first arrive. Yeah, it wasit fun? Were you excited to sign
on? I was a successful thingalready, Like, yes, it was,
And I thought it was like reallyan innovative way to tell a story,
to make everyone quiet and to makesound kind of like the enemy.
(17:34):
The stakes are so high with sound, and it was really fun to get
into this, and it's a differentsort of story. We definitely are expanding
this what this universe can do withthis story. I'm really looking forward to
people seeing it. Yeah, shewas on with Kelly Clarkson this week.
Boy, Kelly looks amazingly different.Well, she is on a weight lost
(17:56):
medicine and she's been looking really good. Yeah, you tell she is on
ozempic or whatever. And she saidthat's not well, whatever it is,
she's doing that. But you cantell she's also, you know, changed
her diet, her lifestyle, youhave to do all those things. You
can tell she's definitely doing it all. Yeah. The first trailer from the
Mark Wahlberg Denzel Washington movie Flight Risk, dropped yesterday. We got a clip.
(18:19):
Lorette is very disappointed in you,Winston, and he wants you dead.
We need him may day, mayday, We've been compromised Pilot's a
hitman. Mark is bald. Heis, but he has like the hair
around, like the ear looks likea half a helmet. I want to
(18:45):
see this movie. Looks good.Lebron James Son Brownie James drafted last night
by the Lakers. Here was thecall. The fifty fifth pick in the
twenty twenty four NBA Draft, theLos Angeles Lakers select James from the University
of Southern California. Yeah, it'sthe first father son duo on the same
(19:06):
team in NBA history. Will bronniever make it to the court for the
Laker? Okay, I think USC, who he played for, was in
a horrible division and they sucked andhe didn't start, and he averages four
points a game. Now that saysNBA all start. I don't think so.
But everyone's like it's so great.I think it's sweet. But I
(19:26):
think it'd be nicer for the kidto develop more and then come to the
NBA when he's ready, and notjust so that his dad and him can
have this dream of being teammates. But I also think it's a good story,
so that it is a good story. But to that point, they
might not. He doesn't mean he'sgoing to be a starter. He might
ride the bench and they put himin every once in a while until hopefully
he develops his game more right,You're right. We'll probably happen. Kids
that literally were scoring twenty, Imean, averaging twenty a game that don't
(19:48):
get drafted. Wow, Like youknow what I mean. Good news for
porzingis he had what they say wasa successful surgery yesterday on the leg injury.
But they say it's going to beprobably five six months to rec that's
a long time, long time.Red Sox is going to host the podres
out at Fenway Park tonight out ofSan Diego LEAs where your sister Tara lives.
(20:08):
Yes, she does. And JimmyKimmel and his wife went on starn
this week talking about this crazy partyat Paul McCartney's house recently that had Taylor
Swift djaying and everybody from McCartney toBruce Springsteen to mc jagger and basically anybody
who was anybody at the party, and they talked about it, Well,
I think what you do in aparty like that is you gravitate toward the
(20:30):
people you already know and you go, can you believe that this is happening
and that we're here. Yes,and you kind of leave it at that.
I was in the corner with JohnBragson and Courtney Cox, so I
was so relieved to see because itwas one of those parties. I didn't
know how to hold my body.I didn't know where to look, I
didn't know what to do. Itwas Molly, you didn't You didn't go
(20:52):
over to Bruce Springsteen? And whatdid you say to Bruce had He's fine?
You know, we had a goodchat. And do you talk about
music and the tour or do youtry to like act cool like your We
talked about Elvis, and we talkedabout I know, just being in LA
and we even had that moment likecan you believe this party? I mean
(21:15):
even Bruce Springsteen was like, thisis some party. Did Courtney Cox and
Bruce Springsteen dance? Did they dothat thing? I wanted that to happen.
Yeah, we wanted that to happenat Bruce's show. We're trying to
talk her into going to his showand just getting up on stage and dancing,
and she said, do you thinkpeople would want that? So,
yes, people would want that. That's a pretty cool conversation. Oh yeah,
(21:37):
yeah, Hey, we brought youby the ninety nine restaurant. Good
news, Lobster Lover's Weekend is back, So visit the ninety nine restaurants today
or any Friday through Sunday or totheir famous colossal or hot buttered Lobster Roll.
You'll get a free three course mealupgrade this weekend only. You got
to love the Nines And there yougo. Bill put down the micros from
(21:59):
the planet is Kiss one. Awaitstudios. We're back with a Villy and
Lisa in the morning on Kiss.Yeah. So we're back and we've got
one of the funniest ladies on theplanet in studio right now. Tammy Pasca
Telly going to be a Giggles SaturdayNight. That's Tomorrow night, eight thirty
show. You can get your ticketsat Giggles tickets dot event bright dot com.
(22:22):
Hello Tammy, Hello, what abeautiful compliment. Thank you for that.
I'll pay you afterwards. We're talkingabout Tammy Pasca Telly. I'm married.
I love my husband. My husband'svery good looking, not so smart,
but very good looking. I marriedthe hot kid from the slow class.
Take your time, some of youor him well, it's true.
(22:48):
I only write from what I know. You know, people say, where
do you get your material? I'mlike, I wake up like I'm surrounded
by you know, confederacy, adunces. That's my life to go.
I got to ask you before wego any further. Did you eat?
I mean, yeah, I areyou talking about the Italian stuff? Because
that's all they seem to care about. What did you eat? When are
you gonna eat it? How fastare you going to eat it? So
(23:11):
down? Did you go to thebathroom? That's the whole thing. Like
afterwards, did you go okay?I mean you you can't start someone over
fifty five on being regular. It'sthe most disgusting. We're not going to
do it because it's the morning, but trust me, but you do a
lot about your husband. We haveanother close There was another woman in bed
(23:32):
with my husband and I I'd belike, you got this covered because I
got stuff to do. Ah.That is from that is from finding the
funny that I filmed right at theWilbur. That's amazing. You were telling
me that off the air. Soyour first stand up special was right at
the Wilbur in Boston. Yeah,I did an hour special, and I
was telling it like I told you. At least I told him that I
(23:53):
got a chance to do it anywhere, like I've always I'm not saying it
because I'm here. Boston has alwaysbeen my favorite city, worked my way
up to be a headliner, throughthrough the old club system around here and
stuff. So I said, I'mgoing to Boston to film my special because
I know you can't trick Boston audiences. So true, you know crowd.
Yeah, so if you if youget them to laugh, they really love
(24:15):
you. Plus then I also playedthe Wilburg another time with Jenny McCarthy had
this this tour and Donnie Wahlberg. There's nothing like being in Boston with a
Wahlburg. I think it's like beingat the Vatican with the Pope total.
I mean, you did something withJenny and up. Yeah, and Donnie
has always been very good to me. I ended up doing a couple of
(24:37):
Blue Bloods things. But I'm tellingyou, being at Boston with the Wallburg
was like literally, you know,I felt like I was levitating place or
he was, and I was justin the shadow of that. Well,
what what character did you play inBlue Bloods? Oh, what do you
think I played some mob wife, some ex mob wife. You know.
It's a real stretch. It's ait's one that I thought, I don't
(25:00):
know how I'm gonna do this.Yeah, and how was Tom Sellik in
real life? I didn't get tosee him. Oh no, it's a
good thing, because i'd have reversedmy mortgage. I think I would have.
I love him. I'm still underthe magnum p I days. Oh
my god. Yeah, he's sucha such an incredible guy. So you're
back in Boston and you love Boston? I do. Weren't you with Lenny
(25:22):
Clark last night? I was withLenny last night in Salem and I had
never been to Salem. As manytimes as I played around here, I'd
never been to Salem. And everybody'slike, there are witches there. I'm
like, yeah, I read myhistory book. I know, but they're
not there after five o'clock because allthe shops close, and so apparently the
witches they were afraid of the dark. I don't know. They have to
(25:44):
get home before. Yeah, wherewere you in Salem? Longboards? Okay?
Yeah, I used to live ina condo literally right above Longboards.
That would have been fun, likeI could look down. And then they
opened the courtyard outs. I meanthey spanned it a lot over the last
several years. They did a fabulousjob with that place in Salem. There
is nothing like this area that holdsonto the history but then continues to expand
(26:08):
and grow. It's so amazing.Like in New York, they'll just demolish
the history right la forget it.They don't even they don't even know how
to spell history. So it's veryit's it's really neat to see how things
expand in this area over the yearsbut still hold on to it. That
must have been very cool to liveover there because you probably just walk down
(26:30):
through the and the old days whenyou could have a few drinks and not
get arrested for DUI for walking.Yeah, I just take the elevator down,
have a couple of drinks and thengo back to bed. Yeah,
now you'd get ticketed for sure. You'd have to vote do a breathalyzer on
the elevator. You know. Ialways wonder when you're doing a one stand
up special, a one hour standup, that's got to be nerve wracking
because it's just you and the crowdand it's going to be perfect. That
(26:56):
wasn't Those things don't bother me becausethat's what I do. Like this year,
July six is thirty years I left. I left doing radio and came
right into I mean, I wasa young girl. There was twenty women
in comedy. Those things don't botherme because I know what I'm doing.
You know what got me nervous?Very few things get me. Television appearances
get me nervous. Playing the gardenlast year that comic Come Home, Comics
(27:21):
Come Home. And it wasn't thatthere were you know, eighteen nineteen thousand
people there. It was because thelevel of comics were. Those are monsters.
I'm sharing a stage with monsters. And you don't want to be the
one that sticks out like a sorethumb, you know what I mean.
It's Dennis, it's Lenny Clark,it's Bill Burr, it's Bobby Kelly,
it's Mark, Marry and Rachel likeOrlando, backs are like, I can't,
(27:44):
I can't be the one that stinks. You know what I mean?
You were really good. Thank youso much. We love that event.
Well. Plus bring that old Italianflair in and I mean, let's face
it, you know the Garden isright down the street from the North End.
Yeah, I know communities in America, Yes, I know. I
filmed a movie called Everybody Wants toBe Italian, and they filmed down there.
(28:06):
I mean I stayed. I stayedin Boston. That's when I fell
in love with it, probably inthe nineties, for like three months we
stayed over in the North End.I don't get to get cast in a
lot of other things, and beingItalian, I don't know why they don't
cast me as the scientist that savesthe world. But yeah, well we're
talking with Chamy Pasca Telly. She'sgoing to be at Giggles tomorrow night.
You can get your tickets at Gigglestickets dot event bright dot com. Why
(28:29):
didn't you ever get something in theSopranos that seemed to be a natural I
don't know, called David Chase andAs I don't know. Yeah, it's
a weird thing. You don't callthe Fairly Brothers if anybody knows them.
I'm sure everybody knows them here. You know what, I would love for
Lenny Clark and I to do somethingtogether. He and I to be like
husband and wife or ex wife orwhatever. I just well, it just
(28:52):
got canceled, so now is mychance it did? Yeah, he's available.
Thank you for giving us that information. I just found too. Oh
my god, I know, Ijust said, OK, he's fine.
You know, Lenny, he bounces, He's always got seventy two. He's
got floor seats at the Celtics.Who cares about anything else? Right during
championship games? That guy gets floorseats. He's amazing. He and his
(29:15):
brother Mike are two of my favoritepeople on the planet. Well, you
were with Lenny last night. Whydidn't you talk about doing something together?
Have you ever spoken to Lenny?I'll get that. Yeah, he's talking
to you while he's looking over yourshoulder at someone else. I'll talk to
Mike about it. That's how itall. But you know, it's it's
we're just at a time where Ilove comedy, I love making people laugh,
(29:38):
and I don't feel like hold himback anymore. Like this is we
have to just continue to be ourselvesso that other people learn how to be
themselves. So I think Lenny andI'd be perfect hanging out together. I
know a lot of your act isabout, you know, the Italian scene,
growing up in an Italian. Notreally, it's not really about Italian
anymore. But it's about being family, you know what I mean. It's
(29:59):
like a it's not you know,it's not pass me a meatball or anything
like that. But yeah, it'sso funny you brought up meatball because that's
where I was going with. Oh, I'm psyched. I guess some of
that Salem witchiness paid off. Wereyou one of those families and said,
oh, you gotta have my meatballs? You haven't had my meat but what
are you doing going to that restaurant? You gotta have mine? Well,
we never went to restaurants. That'sthe thing. If you know anything about
(30:22):
like immigrant family, Italian families,we never ate out of the house,
like if I didn't really eat outof the house till I went to college,
because it just wasn't something you did. There was no point. True.
Yeah, shame on you. Ifyou ever went to an Italian sandwich
shop or an Italian restaurant, they'dbe like, what are you talking?
That would never happen. They usedto take us like McDonald's was becoming,
you know, they they weren't ata billion served. By the way,
(30:45):
all the young kids listening to this. They they weren't always at a billion.
They would say like it was lessthan a million. They used to
have a ticker tape like basically onehundred and twenty five thousand served. I
had a running talent. Yeah,it was like the Jerry Lewis telegon in
the back. So every once ina while we go get a burger or
something and that you might as wellhandle me a steak, right, like
(31:07):
that was the best thing ever togo get French fries and a hamburger.
Tammy Pascitelli gonna be at Giggles. You got to catch your show. Anybody
else going with you have like anopening act or something. Well, Lenny's
on the show tonight, Lenny Clark. I mean, you can't get more
bang for your buck out of that. Mike Mishi, Dave Russo, Tony
V. Tomorrow it's Tony V andI and then yeah, so we're just
(31:29):
gonna have a good time and thenyeah, tomorrow night. It's right there
at Route one. And by theway, it's inside Prince Pizza, which
I'm telling you there's something about theirpizza. It's magic. It's a great
slice. I have to admit,it really is a great slice of pizza.
Steve Castaberdi, the owner out thereat Prince shout out to him.
He does a fabulous job and youwill be there tomorrow night. You can
get tickets Giggles tickets dot event brightdot com. Tammy Paske, Telly,
(31:53):
thanks for coming back. Thank youfor having me. I appreciate it.
Kids, run away in the morning, wrap up on Billy and Lisa in
the morning. Well that was justinTimberlake, right there, selfish and justin
Timberlake. The double play ended today. We picked the grand prize winner.
Big deal. We've been talking aboutthis for two weeks. Of course,
he has two shows at the Gardenthis weekend. And you qualified, you
(32:16):
know, by being college twenty fivewhen you heard two Timberlake songs back to
back. You went tickets to oneof the shows. But then one grand
prize winner is getting like a VIPtreatment this weekend. And that person is
Katie from Walpole, the grand prizewinner two weeks in. Is you Katie
(32:37):
from Walpole? Oh my god,are you getting serious? It's is so
exciting. Oh my gosh, lazy, you guys are amazing. Yeah,
congratulations to her. So what doesshe get? Lisa right Hotel Kaze.
She gets to go to both showsOkay, Saturday and Sunday night to justin
(32:57):
Timberlake. She gets a suite atthe Revereer Hotel Boston. She gets dinner
on the roof deck, which isamazing, JT merch and spot treatments and
so much more. It's a wholeweekend. Yeah, we can get away
pampering, tickets, concerts, food, roof deck, overnight suite. I
mean wow. Yeah, And youknow you guys are all going to the
show this weekend and Kiss one wouldbe down there tomorrow four to seven at
(33:20):
banners. Make sure you stop by. We're going by this big movie weekend,
the new Quiet Place, movies intheaters. We got our movie guy
on that's marked the movie nerd fromShowcase Cinemas. He checks in, he
sees all the movies early. Hetalks about them. But he started with
he's got a big weekend plan.I am kicking off a tour with your
own mikey Key. Yeah, alittle confusing there. We thought it was
(33:45):
mikey V. But it's not.It's a n P who is a production
guy that works here, head ofproduction. Yeah, he's Mike P.
I don't know where he got theMikey p So that was why he's on
tour. Now he's got to havea name, like a stage name.
That's true. Yeah, that's true. So that's cool. But he did
give us a little preview of whatThe Quiet Place is about to bring in
this weekend. Yeah, we're lookingat fifty million for the weekend. The
(34:07):
reviews have been great. Everyone lovesit. Everyone's talking about the cat.
Yeah, everyone's talking about the catin this movie. Well, I saw
Lapedo Nuongo, who's in the movie. I saw extra last night. She
did a sit down with her costar, the kid that's in the new
Gladiator movie too in Stranger Things, but apparently has a tremendous fear of cats,
so much so that she had togo to cat therapy before she was
(34:29):
able to shoot the movie. Becausein a lot of the movie, she's
holding the cat, she's walking thecat, she's sleeping with the cat.
I could see that that you'd bea little scared of cats, I guess.
Yeah, Well, you know whatthey say about dogs and cats.
What's not well, if you youknow, if you if you pass away,
the dog will lay next next toyou, and the cats. Oh
yeah, you know, pee onyou, no eat you? Oh really,
(34:52):
pe on you, billy, Really, that's what they say. Yeah,
I don't like cats. I knowwhat I've come to. I really
like them now. I'm not aslike afraid as I used to be.
We had a couple of cats,you know. They they've they've they've gone
on to kiddie heaven. Dogs getit though. I know, like if
I'm upset about something and I'm sittingon the couch, TuS will just come
(35:13):
over for no reason and just likelay his head on my stomach. Yeah,
they just look up at you. They know things that we don't know.
Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, cats freak me out. Well
yeah, that's why you're a dogperson or you're a cat person. Yeah,
that's how it goes. No verdictin the Karen Reid trial a pretty
good moment this morning. We hadCatherine loftus in you know, in which
(35:35):
we do every day after this testimony. There's no verdict yet. But we
also had Steve Cooper on from Channelseven who's outside the courthouse and he kind
of gives us and give us abehind the scenes look. So he's in
the courtroom looking at the jury.I've seen a lot of juries, and
I was studying them yesterday and notone of them looked up as they walked
into the courtroom. Not one ofthem made eye contact with me. I
(35:58):
mean I was staring at all twelveof them and then the two alternates,
and they look drained and they lookweary. I bet. Yeah, that
was a great moment. We hadCatherine in studio on the trial and we
had Steve live outside the courthouse simultaneously. That was pretty cool. Yeah,
we should do that again on Monday, depending on what happens. I mean,
either way, Catherine's going to beon Monday. You know, if
(36:20):
there's a verdict going on, theyfeel a lot of pressure to do the
right thing. Yeah, so manyeyes are on this in this case.
I think I don't think it's sucha bad thing. I mean, you
have ten weeks of testimony, andyou have twelve people that have very different
views, and we've been talking aboutthis the whole time, but this is
the first time in ten weeks theyhave been able to talk to each other
because they can't deliberate before closing arguments, so they are now for the first
(36:43):
time being like, what the hellhappened with twelve people going over what did
we just witnessed? For ten weeks? So that takes a lot of time.
When someone's seventy witnesses for the prosecutionand someone you know, Karen Reid's
life is in their hands, theywant to do the right thing. That's
it. And of course, youknow, like always, you know,
John o'keef lost his life. Youknow, we can't lose sight of that.
So I still get talkbacks from peoplethat just you know, because people
(37:05):
tune in and they get into work, they tune out, they tune and
they'll say, you know, Harristalking about and they say, John O'Keefe
lost his life, like that's themost important thing. And we do address
that, we say all we sayit all these Yeah, we definitely do.
But yeah, Busy Friday show, let's end with this for you,
Billy, I know you want tohear this. So I went on a
first date guy I never met. We're sitting there eating, he's telling me
about how he's had a hip replacementand who he's twenty So it was weird.
(37:29):
But thanks to Billy, I nowknow the word hitch, so in
my head the rest of the dayI'm like, is this taken a hitch?
What's this stitch on a hitch? So finally when he gets up to
walk me out, Billy, I'mglad you report a little bit of a
hitch. At bit a little bitof a hitch. Let me tell you.
Yeah, at we don't know whatthe fascination on Billy with the hitches
(37:52):
the Golden Bachelor. Yeah, there'sno little bit of a hitch. If
you have a hitch, it's ahitch. Yeah, that's anyway. Full
show podcast. Just search Billy andLisa in the Morning. You can get
that anywhere you consume your podcast. And a reminder, all the Karen Read
stuff, all the appearance are fromCatherine Loftus and Steve Cooper are isolated and
separate from the regular podcast. Youknow what that is. That's for your
(38:15):
listening pleasure day. Now back toBilly and Lisa in the Morning. Kiss
hey, guys, welcome back, and Happy Friday Day, everybody. Gonna
be a beautiful day today, Pickof the week, perfect sun Friday today
weather wise, And I've got myson Chris Costa on the phone live from
Las Vegas. Chris, what's up, Hey, Good morning everybody, Okay,
(38:37):
So you're in Vegas and the eventis called Fanatics Live Card Battle Dana
White versus Michael Rubins. Isn't thispart two? Yeah? Second round?
Second round? First round was afew weeks ago back at the Fanatics headquarters,
and we're doing this round from theUFC Fan Expo, which is connected
(39:00):
to what will be UFC three ohthree on Saturday night. So what exactly
happens at this event? Yeah,So Dana and Michael come up on stage
with me, and then they'll eachopen boxes of cards or all open boxes
of cards for them, and thefans, both in the crowd and on
the live stream, will then pickwhose box was better, and then the
(39:22):
winner of that round gets those cardsand they end up giving them out to
specific fans. So this is amazing. My son, my oldest, my
firstborn. You're hanging out with theDana White. Do you actually have his
cell phone in your contact list?Dana has been a very good friend to
our business, and yes, he'sbeen, he's been, He's been amazing.
(39:44):
Lisa. Lisa has a question forher nephew, Chris. Yes,
are you going to be invited toMichael Rubin's White Party, which is the
biggest party of the year. Goodquestion, It's a very good question.
I don't think so. I mean, it's the most exclusive part in the
world. Come on, okay, dude, but you're hosting him for a
(40:04):
second time, and I know behindthe scenes you've had several meetings with Michael
Rubens. You got to bring itup to because I know Jason Tatum just
got his invite and they sent himsome really cool sneakers right justin Oh really
cool. Yeah, custom Insuls championCeltics Championship insuls on the sneakers insane.
What bring that up to him andsay I heard about the sneakers. Yeah,
(40:25):
bring up Jason Tatum. Hey,I know Jason. Well, he's
a big card card fan, cardBall fan, and uh, you got
to get to the White Party. You can be our correspondent at the White
Party. Chris a little behind thescenes, Yeah, Chris, a little
behind the scenes. Harry, yourdad this morning said this is our moment
for the for you to get intothe White Party behind the scenes. Look,
(40:45):
and that he said, if youcan't get an invite to this,
you're gonna be banned from the show, right, be banned from the show,
potentially the family got it right, well, so far as the family
polished right, because if Jason,if Jason Tatum gets invited, I mean,
why wouldn't I. Right, Well, let me ask you something.
(41:07):
Is Jason Tatum sharing the stage tonightin Vegas with the Dana White is not?
Okay? Who is sharing the stagewith Dana White and Michael Rubins tonight?
That would be me, buddy,That would Rubin, not Rubens.
Oh who cares? Hey, Rubes, Can I go to your party?
Like? Yeah? Call them?Do you have a nickname from my gay
(41:28):
Rubes? What's up? Yeah?Ruby, that's my boy Ruby. No,
but no, behind the scenes,I know I can't say much.
But you've had private meetings with misterRubins in New York, right, Well,
yeah, card Vault our business,we're partners of Fanatics. Fanatics owns
tops and all the major licensing deals. So we've gotten close with with Rubin
(41:49):
and his team, and yeah,we've had a bunch of meetings with them
over the past few months, reallya couple of years, and more so
now as we're starting to do contentand host events with them. So this
is another kind of extension of thatrelationship and also our relationship with Dana and
the UFC. I mean that goesback even further. So, uh yeah,
we're having a lot of fun. Both of those guys and their businesses
(42:10):
and companies have been amazing to usand this is gonna be a fun one.
The UFC X I was walking throughthere yesterday, a massive space and
they're expecting thousands and thousands of fans. And my son, Chris, my
firstborn, is in charge of thewhole event. You know, justin the
other day, was showing me avideo. You were on Kim Kerrigan's podcast
(42:31):
and she put you to the test. She said, what's your favorite radio
show? And you actually said ourshow? You know it? You know
it? I love you. Yeah, thank you for that's exactly. Yeah.
But no, Chris, now you'regoing to work on this white party.
(42:52):
Oh yeah, it happened. Iwant just sing to him, Chris
Lot. Hey, this is IonaGnday and we're back with Billy and Lisa
in the morning. On Billy,Oh hey, how you doing mag How

the Mighty one is up next. And I learned something about him. Really
nine years old, he was incollege, that's what I hear. I
(45:07):
hear he was such a child prodigythat Yeah, he was in college at
nine and he started working at radiowhen he was like fourteen. He should
have auditioned for Young Sheldon, Yeah, we gotta go. He gets really
pushy, doesn't even bring him up. The Mighty mckabe is up next.
