Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now best morning show in Boston.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Billie and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 3 (00:03):
It's just a great start to my day on Kiss
one Away.

Speaker 4 (00:16):
Well, good morning everybody. I'm sorry that was kind of
a dramatic pause at the start of the show.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Lease, I liked it.

Speaker 4 (00:23):
It worked for me every so often. You know what
it is. It's an attention grabber. You know, you'll hold
off for a few seconds. Everybody gets all antsy.

Speaker 5 (00:32):
Well, especially on Friday the thirteenth.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Yeah, it's like edge of your seat.

Speaker 5 (00:36):
What could go wrong on this day?

Speaker 6 (00:38):
I don't want to scare anyone, And I'm going to
give it to you straight about Jason.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
His body was never recovered from.

Speaker 7 (00:44):
The lake after you drowned.

Speaker 4 (00:47):
Have you listened to the old timers in town. I'll
tell you he's still out there, some sort of demented
creature surviving in the wilderness. By now, Friday the thirteenth,
and here we are superstitions, anyone. I guess that's something

(01:07):
we'll talk about on the show this morning.

Speaker 5 (01:09):
Right seven point fifteen. If you have any crazy superstitions,
we want to hear them.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
Yeah, do you even think twice about Friday the thirteenth,
Like you'll wake up this morning. You'll say, oh, that's right,
it's Friday the thirteenth. So what does that mean to you?

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Well, I do, I do.

Speaker 8 (01:26):
I was planning a birthday party for one of my
kids with another mother, and it came up as that
this is a possible date. And I said, We're not
having a birthday part a Ziplining birthday party on Friday
the thirteenth.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
No way, something's going to go wrong.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
You fell victims.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
No, I'm telling you HI with you on that.

Speaker 8 (01:42):
I had other dates to choose from, and I was like,
let's move on from this date, especially with Ziplining.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Yeah, accidents, right, It's funny. My mom is one of
thirteen and the thirteenth child was born on Friday the thirteenth,
and no one likes them.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Guy, what I mean?

Speaker 4 (02:01):
They feel weird.

Speaker 9 (02:02):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
He's like the worst human, Like I can't see me.
But he's my uncle obviously not the worst human, but
he's just so unlikable. And yeah, he was the thirteen
child one.

Speaker 8 (02:11):
So maybe he like absorbed all of the yeah the
thirteenth stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Wow, bad energy, right, yeah, he is a bad energy
type of guy.

Speaker 4 (02:18):
Well, here's the question, when did the superstition around Friday
that they're actually.

Speaker 5 (02:24):
You have all that information, Lisa has it, have facts. Yeah,
we're going to talk about it seven fifteen. We'll hold
it for that because we have to spend some time
on this.

Speaker 4 (02:31):
Okay. Yeah, all right, So it's New Music Friday, and
it's a big one right justin. You've got some big
songs lined up for will premieres today.

Speaker 5 (02:44):
Yeah, I mean everyone from the Weekend. Tate McCrae will
have both those songs after seven after eight o'clock for
New Music Friday. It's also new music from everyone, Katie Perry,
Shawn Mendes, Charlie XCX, everyone's dropping music this week.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
Yeah, and Dua Lipa's announcing the tour. She's bring it
to Boston. We've got those dates for you. By the way,
do Alipa going to be on sixty minutes Sunday night?

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Oh and that's the lead in from your food show, Billy,
you're the opening act for Duaalifa?

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Yes, well, I do a show on WBZ news Radio
Sunday nights at six o'clock Food for Thought, And yeah,
we are the opening act every week for sixty minutes.
Do you understand how big a deal that was for me.
When we were talking about doing this Sunday night show.
When they said, well, you could be the lead in
for sixty minutes, I said, that's it. Yeah, that's my

(03:32):
career right there. I waited all these years and now
I'm a part of sixty I legitimately feel like I'm
a part of sixty minutes.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
And you know what, funny Bill, until you're you talking
about this, I didn't know sixty minutes is still.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
On the radio. I thought it was just only on TV.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
I didn't need it.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
Oh yeah, CBS Sunday Nights. By the way, Sunday Night
is the start of sixty Minutes fifty seventh season. Wow,
I guess so. And of course you know Anderson Cooper's on,
so Lisa loves him.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Well, he's doing the du A Lipa interview.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
Yeah. Oh so.

Speaker 5 (04:08):
You know that anytime that Billy will book somebody for
his food show, he'll do it. You know, sometimes he'll
just do it randomly, you know, he'll say, you want
to come on my food show. It is Sunday Nights
before sixty Minutes.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Of course, And my favorite part of the show every
single Sunday Night is the very end when I get
to say the words up next sixty minutes? Are you
kidding me?

Speaker 1 (04:29):
That's so cool?

Speaker 4 (04:30):
Bill, I'm attached just sixty minutes.

Speaker 10 (04:32):
Yep.

Speaker 5 (04:33):
So Sunday night you'll get Billy in the Food show
and do a lipa.

Speaker 11 (04:35):
What's up?

Speaker 1 (04:36):
It's with Billy Costa.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
So now we're all teaming up. Sunday night, me do
a lipa Anderson Cooper and sixty minutes. Okay, that's who
you're sitting with right now.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Very that's a very gay day.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Okay. I wasn't going to go there. Ryan is du aleipa.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Gay too in the Games lover, you know, and the
gay's okay.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
She's got a huge gay following. Yeah, and then and
very gay and.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Then you're questioning he's my number one?

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Yeah, oh yeah, you've I've wanted to sleep with Anderson
Cooper since I met you.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Loved him since the beginning.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
Yeah, he's very handsome man.

Speaker 4 (05:11):
Who would you sleep with first if you were given
the opportunity? Would it be Anderson Cooper? Chris Martin or Sting?

Speaker 11 (05:17):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (05:18):
God, I don't know.

Speaker 8 (05:20):
Sting has some good energy going here.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
He's like he's into that, like Tantrick stuff.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
I was gonna say, that's a club game. Lisa, Mary
just killed. Who are you doing? Who are you doing?
I actually would probably fixed thing.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
Yeah, it's still going with Sting And you're going to
see him, right, he's coming to Boston.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Well, I'm trying to go see him. He'll be at
the MGM Music Hall in October.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
We have to justin. I always say, you're the best
executive producer on the planet. Uh, tickets, we know we're
getting for Lisa, right, but no, you need to get
a sit down with Stings. Promise. Oh come on, I'll try.
Why bother lifting five hundred pounds. If you can't even
get Sting in a chair, I'll do My god, what

(06:01):
is with you? By the way, your bodyguard Idol died,
I mean your bodybuilder.

Speaker 5 (06:07):
Well he's not my idol. Oh come on, No, this
this guy who was the world's biggest bodybuilder. He dropped
dead and he's like thirty six years old. He basically
his heart exploded from all the steroids. Yeah and yeah,
it's a sad situation. He ate five pounds of steak
a day and.

Speaker 4 (06:22):
One hundred pieces of sushi, yeah a day, every day.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
I just don't think that's good for the body.

Speaker 5 (06:27):
No, it's definitely not a lot of heavy man thinking
about how many bodybuilders passed away early, like, it's well,
it's a real problem in bodybuilding. Yeah, because the amount
of drugs they're taking is just way too much.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
Yeah, but I don't think that's going to be your
problem with the bodybuilding. Your problem is going to be
when the bone shoots right through the skin and your
shin try to lift five and twenty pounds all of
a sudden, there's going to be a snap.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
Yeah, imagine I tried. I showed him the video. That's
the first thing he said. Not good job, nothing. He's like, Oh,
I'm just waiting for the day the Bluecut.

Speaker 4 (07:03):
Anyway, it's the big Friday show. It's new Music Friday. Oh,
we're gonna have to talk about that Brittany video yesterday.
Oh boy, oh boy. She's talking about Sabrina's performance of
the VMAs. Anyway, we've got that, We've got stories behind
the new music this morning, and it's all coming up
in entertainment.

Speaker 8 (07:22):
That is next from the Planet Fitness, Kiss one Away Studios.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
We're back with Villy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
Kiss Hey, guys, Happy Friday. Welcome into Billy and Lisa
Morning Show. Yes, it is Friday the thirteenth. We'll be
addressing that a little bit later in the show. When
are we doing that? Guys seven fifteen, seven fifteen, Superstitions
and Friday the thirteenth. But it's time for entertainment justin
want to get some talkbacks in. Let's say hello, yeah.

Speaker 5 (07:49):
Remember Friday the thirteenth. I mean there's a lot of
you know, negative around the date, but just be positive.

Speaker 6 (07:54):
Good morning everyone, Happy Friday the thirteenth. I'm going to
be positive Patty today because if you wish bad luck
on yourself, it will happen. Now, I want to tell
Lisa that Sting is coming over to the Boston Music
Hall this September. So it's the Sting three point oh thing.
It's a tour or something. But I want to tell
you about tantric sex. You should ask Tim if he'd

(08:16):
dug to do it, because I've had it and it
is great.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Happy Friday, that is I do.

Speaker 8 (08:25):
That's like a big thing that Sting has always been
into what is well, he's really into yoga and I
guess it's.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Like it's meditative, meditative, like you has.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
An orgasm while doing the gold is not it's resist orgasm.

Speaker 5 (08:40):
Oh, it's enjoying the sexual journey and sensations of the body.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
So it's like taking yourself to the edge but not falling.

Speaker 5 (08:46):
Off, right, Yeah, and it's for healing, transformation and enlightenment.

Speaker 4 (08:52):
Now is Sting doing the music hall?

Speaker 2 (08:56):
He's doing the music hall?

Speaker 4 (08:58):
Oh, I got you there. Yeah, you told my buddy Ernie.

Speaker 5 (09:01):
Yeah, all right, Now he's the MGM music Hall.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
Okay, Oh that's right. The music hall is not the
music hall anymore. It's the Wang Setter Wang Theater. We'll
get but we got you covered. We'll get you in
and Justin's going to get you a sit down on
one on one. I think you can't back down on this.
You promised her, No, you can't do that. No, you
promised her a sit down with Sting And now can
you not do that?

Speaker 1 (09:23):
Another empty promise from Bill Coff.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
The people now the entertainment update.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
With the Billy Cops.

Speaker 4 (09:30):
Here we go. The Sabrina Secret sounds seven to ten
this morning, another shot at those sould out Sabrina tickets,
and people are buzzing this morning about a very weird
Britney Spears post yesterday Britney responding to Sabrina carpenter It's
performance at the VMA's the other night. Listen very careful.

Speaker 12 (09:52):
Hey, sir, did you guys watch that VMAs. I don't
watch the VMA's, but I get to see stuff on
my phone from me of Sabrina Carpenter. Yea, why she
kissing an alien on stage?

Speaker 1 (10:06):
I adore her.

Speaker 4 (10:07):
I love her to death.

Speaker 12 (10:08):
I didn't understand that part. Why didn't you kiss a girl?

Speaker 13 (10:14):
Like that?

Speaker 4 (10:14):
Was weird?

Speaker 12 (10:17):
But I also thought that, like the whole thing was
kind of like weird altogether. But after that, after watching that,
I took a really long bath and I am actually color.
I'm into coloring right now. I like to color and
I like to trace the pictures and then go back

(10:39):
over it with light. And yeah, I just know why
I'm talking about that or why I'm so oh, It's
because the Sabrina girl, she uh, she said my name
on the red carpet, and I thought that was kind
of cool because I forget I'm famous sometimes because a mom,
I'm kind of old, blah blah, But that was kind

(10:59):
of cool. The Supreme girl, Carpenter, she was like, she
said something. I was like, Okay, thanks, that's cool.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
Shed a squeaky.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
That was her.

Speaker 5 (11:16):
When is the help gonna come for a port?

Speaker 4 (11:18):
It's long overdue, you know. And we love Brittany because.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
Everyone loves Brittany.

Speaker 8 (11:23):
Even at the VMA's there were so many nods to
her wearing. Kate McCrae was wearing an outfit inspired by
Brittany in like two thousand and one.

Speaker 5 (11:33):
Yep, Megan thee Stallion had the snake.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
Yeah, I'm a slave for you.

Speaker 5 (11:36):
Brittany must not have seen that. She just probably watched
that clip, right, that's weird.

Speaker 4 (11:41):
People forget how many incredible hit songs Britney Spears had. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (11:48):
I mean I was looking at some old VMA performances
of her last night, and yeah, I had the same thought.
Remember how massive she was. She was the biggest star
in the world.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
And whenever you see her, you just pray someone is
going to step in and help her out.

Speaker 5 (12:01):
I mean, it's really sad.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
It's getting scary.

Speaker 5 (12:05):
It's really sad.

Speaker 13 (12:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (12:06):
Anyway, it's a good thing she's keeping busy.

Speaker 12 (12:08):
And then to coloring right now. I like to color
and I like to chase.

Speaker 8 (12:12):
Oh my god, I don't even know what to say.
But you know when she was saying, why was Sabrina
kissing an alien? And that's because she kissed Madonna on
the stage, that was the big vm A moment.

Speaker 5 (12:21):
I was there, right, you were there.

Speaker 4 (12:25):
I was there when that happened. You were And imagine
being backstage. Everybody pressed him around the world. That's all
anybody was talking about because it was such a big deal.
Then it's not now, but then everybody's like, oh, what
just happened.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
I think it would still be a big deal. I
have to say.

Speaker 8 (12:40):
If Sabrina was kissing I don't know. I think people
would still be talking about it.

Speaker 4 (12:44):
Anyway. I hope, hope she gets some help. It's new
music Friday, justin we are World premiering the new weekend
song at seven fifteen this morning. Can we get a
teaser right now?

Speaker 5 (12:56):
It's called Dancing in the Flames, first single from his
brand new album, not released it on that album yet.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
Wait to see.

Speaker 4 (13:11):
I like it now?

Speaker 5 (13:14):
Yeah what you say?

Speaker 4 (13:15):
I didn't really like it the first couple of times
I heard the short clip.

Speaker 5 (13:18):
Yeah, I mean it's very catchy. It's it's blinding lights ish. Yeah,
it's going to be a big hit. You know, he's
great at putting those kind of songs together, all right.
You know, I'm a big Weekend fan, you know, I
do like kind of his raw gritty stuff more. But
it's a good song. And then at eight fifteen we
had do Tate McCrae, which we had to tease of
a couple of weeks ago. It's called membora bille what

(13:39):
it's called.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
It's okay, I'm okay.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
Oh my god, you nailed it.

Speaker 14 (13:41):
It's okay, I'm okay, and I'm in the first place.

Speaker 12 (13:43):
It's okay, I'm okay. Okay, it's okay, I'm okay. I
don't really gastright, It's okay. You can have them.

Speaker 13 (13:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (13:51):
Tate McCray was on the VMA's Red Carpet the other
night and talked about the song.

Speaker 15 (13:55):
Honestly, I wrote it last year in Sweden with Elia
and Savin, and it honestly started off from like a
conversation with me being like, oh, it's okay, I'm okay,
and we're like it'd be a crazy song. So I
ended up finishing it like four weeks ago and turns
it into a fun pop song and made the music video,
and I'm very, very excited for it to come out.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
Okay, yeah, boy, she's huge now again.

Speaker 8 (14:17):
And she looked so good at the VMA's on the car.
But I loved her outfit.

Speaker 5 (14:22):
Yeah, even the kid Larroy dressed up a little bit.
He looked like he took a shower. I know, it's
just good. Couple other new music today, Sean Mendez.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (14:32):
He dropped a new song a couple of weeks ago.
We kind of were unsure this one. You'd be the judge.
It's called Nobody Knows It.

Speaker 13 (14:50):
Bill.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
I actually liked this better than the other one.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
Oh, the other one sounded really weird.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
Right, I might go take and listen to her.

Speaker 4 (14:58):
What was his biggest song?

Speaker 2 (14:59):
He can do no wrong with me, so I love
all of his music.

Speaker 4 (15:02):
Yeah, he's a beautiful man.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
He was so handsome.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
What was his biggest hit?

Speaker 5 (15:07):
Oh, my god, he had sex.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
I mean Marcy holding you back. I mean he has
so many songs.

Speaker 5 (15:13):
Yeah, yeah, probably Marcy, right, that was one of the biggest. Yeah,
he had many other new music new Charlie XCX and
Troy Sevon. Those two are coming to the Garden in
a couple of weeks September twenty eighth. This one's called
talk Talk. That one there was for producer Riley.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
She likes Charlie X. He likes Charlie.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
That's a good song.

Speaker 5 (15:42):
So when Charlie XCX is exploded, she.

Speaker 8 (15:45):
She is featured in the new H and M fall campaign.
That was that hit stores yesterday.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
So she's looking back to school. John sing Yeah, and.

Speaker 4 (15:56):
Cardi B had the baby.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
She did a little girl. They don't think of her
name though. It was on the seventh.

Speaker 4 (16:02):
Yeah, it was offset around he was he was there. Good, yeah, good, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
Listen. The one thing about them there seem to be
very good parents ort least COPD they do. Yeah there, Yeah,
you know.

Speaker 5 (16:12):
What's funny about Cardi B too. And speaking of Charlie
X and Cardi Cardi B. So, Charlie XCX actually worked
with Cardi B. They did a song together, yeah, but
they didn't actually meet each other. They recorded their verses separately,
and then when it came out, Cardi posted about it
and it kind of went south. Here Charlie talks about it.

Speaker 16 (16:29):
Basically, what happened was we did a song together with
Rita Or and bb REXA and it was one of
those scenarios where we never actually met when we made
the song and we shot the music video separately and
we were sending verses and whatever, and then then she
tweets the song and I'm like, oh my god, carwet

(16:50):
my name is huge. And then I like checked the
tag and instead of Charlie XCX, it's Charlie std.

Speaker 4 (17:01):
Sod Alpa heading out on tour. She dropped the tour
dates yesterday. She'll do two shows at the TD Garden
here in Boston September ninth and tenth. We mentioned earlier.
Du Alipa will be on Sixty Minutes this coming Sunday
night earlier. We mentioned earlier this week of the Beyonce snub.
The Country Music Awards snubbing Beyonce and her country album

(17:22):
Don't Forget. She launched Shaboozi by giving him two songs
on that album. She was not nominated at all, but
he was for Song of the Year, and he talks
about the snub right here.

Speaker 17 (17:32):
You know, I feel like, as an artist, you know,
I thought about it. You know, she had been working
on that project for you know a lot of years,
and I know how the award things go, you know,
you kind of you hope you get recognition from some
of these places and then always doesn't come. But like
I said, you know, at the end of the day,
it's like about real impact you've done in the things
you've done in the real world. So no one can
erase her legacy and her impact is honestly, I mean,

(17:55):
she's the goat, who's the greatest.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
Of all time.

Speaker 4 (17:57):
And don't forget Shaboozy going to be in Boston at
this coming Monday night. We've got reports that Beyonce is
working on a new song with Forarrell. Yeah, be interesting.
Bill's beat the Dolphins last night thirty one to ten.
Dolphins quarterback Two took another hard hit, another head injury,
a lot of people suggesting to a step away from football.

(18:19):
Too many concussions. Josh Allen after the game, talking about Tua.

Speaker 18 (18:23):
First and foremost, I just want to say, you know,
I hope Two was doing okay, praying for him and
his family, understanding what's what's happened in the past, and
just knowing that I'm praying for him and his family.
He's a great football player, but I've been around him
outside of the football field and an even amazing human.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
Yeah, Pats have their first home game of the season
Sunday at you Led. Both teams are one and by
the way, Patrick mahomes yesterday saying, unlike his wife, he
will not be endorsing any candidates for president or anything else.
It's not his thing.

Speaker 14 (18:55):
I don't want my place in my platform to be
used to endorse a candidate or do whatever each Either way,
I think my place is to inform people to get
registered to vote, is to inform people to do their
own research and then make their best decision for them
and their family.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
Okay again, The Sabrina Secret Sounds seven to ten this morning,
The Weekend World Premiere seven to fifteen this morning, the
New Tate McCrae World Premiere eight fifteen, and it is
the Big Friday Show, brought to you by Boston Vision.

contact lenders, say goodbye to Blurry Vision and to load

Speaker 12 (19:53):
I me, it's a coloring right now. I like to color,
and I have to choose.

Speaker 2 (19:58):
From the Planet Fitness Kiss.

Speaker 8 (20:00):
Few years we we're back with a Billy and Lisa
in the morning on Kiss one O eight.

Speaker 4 (20:06):
Hey guys, so welcome back. Happy Friday, Happy Friday the thirteenth,
and Lisa weather.

Speaker 8 (20:09):
It's going to be nice, right yeah, but we're getting
that hazy sunshine. Remember I was talked about the wildfires.
You'll see more of that today. But temps it'll be
warm like mid eighties.

Speaker 4 (20:18):
Yeah. I never know if it's hazy out or if
I'm just hungover, you know, you get a get little
glassy eye. You know what I'm talking about, Winnie. Yeah, absolutely,
So we've got the Sabrina Secret sound. Bring me up
to date. What happened yesterday? No winner with the v Bros.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
No nothing with the v Bros. And Gianna. So we
have the sound. It continues and you have to guess
the sound.

Speaker 8 (20:40):
But It's based on one of the Sabrina Carpenter lyrics
in one of her popular songs that we play on Kiss.

Speaker 4 (20:47):
So what we'll do now is play the secret sound
and carefully listen, carefully here it is right here. Okay,
a little bit longer this time. Yeah, you got more
of it. Yeah, and we'll give it to you again
right now.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
Oh.

Speaker 13 (21:09):
I know that one.

Speaker 4 (21:11):
I know that, I know the lyric, I know the song,
I know it all. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (21:14):
I came in this morning and I was fielded by
a ton of talkbacks from yesterday to this morning of
people angry that they know what it is, they know
what it is, They just you know, it's hard to
be caller twenty five.

Speaker 4 (21:27):
Well, we're looking for caller twenty five right now. It's
six one seven nine, three one eight. You will need
the sound, you will need the song that inspired it,
call her twenty five and while we wait, let's hear
from the mafia justin.

Speaker 7 (21:38):
I think some of the.

Speaker 8 (21:39):
People calling aren't really Sabrina Carpenter fans, because how can
you not guess this one?

Speaker 7 (21:45):
It's clearly not a guitar.

Speaker 19 (21:47):
My first graders could guess this sound.

Speaker 20 (21:50):
I mean, if you're not a Sabrina Carpenter fan.

Speaker 16 (21:53):
And if you haven't been listening for the past however
long that that you've been doing this secret sound two weeks.

Speaker 19 (21:59):
Now, then don't call because I know what the sound is.

Speaker 20 (22:03):
I need to be called twenty five.

Speaker 4 (22:06):
Well, we can't ban anyone from playing just because you
know they don't know the sound and the lyric. I'm
just saying, we can't just tell people.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
Do not call it anymore.

Speaker 14 (22:17):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (22:20):
All right, let's go to Angela. Angela, you are caller
twenty five. And where you're calling from? Angela?

Speaker 21 (22:27):
I am calling from framing him.

Speaker 4 (22:29):
Beautiful, framing him. Okay, Angela, I'm gonna let you hear
the sound one more time. Listen carefully here it is
right here, all right, Angela, solve this thing for us.
What is it and what was it inspired by?

Speaker 9 (22:46):
I think it's a piano from nonsense.

Speaker 7 (22:52):
I had to jump the octave that.

Speaker 4 (22:56):
Is corract Angela.

Speaker 5 (22:59):
You didn't, Let's go, Angela.

Speaker 4 (23:08):
Angela, Oh god job. If you didn't get it, do
you know how many people were gonna hate you?

Speaker 7 (23:13):
This is a weird.

Speaker 4 (23:16):
So I'm guessing, Okay, you're a huge Sabrina fan, right,
I am and my daughter is okay, so let's be
a great mother daughter and night on the town. You
go see Sabrina Carpenter. But great job, Angela, thank you
for listening, thank you for playing, and hold on, producer Riley,
we get all your deeds.

Speaker 9 (23:37):
Great, thank you.

Speaker 5 (23:38):
Okay, Wow, very cool, very cool. So you know what
that means? A ten this morning, A brand new sound
you can play. You can hear the sound and guess
the song that inspired the sound. So it's Friday the thirteenth.
We have some superstitions we're going to talk about. It's
a day where some people are afraid of. So we
want to hear your superstitions. You can call us or
hit usup on the talk back six one seven nine

(24:00):
one one one o eight or the talkback on the
iHeart app. Just have that red microphone talking Friday the thirteenth,
Lisa kiss one o eight.

Speaker 4 (24:10):
Hey guys for welcome back. I'm happy Friday. It was
a little squeak. There is that a Friday the thirteenth.

Speaker 5 (24:15):
I was just thinking that it's Friday's.

Speaker 4 (24:18):
Going to go wrong? Oh my god, what is again?
Is that Brittany? Wait?

Speaker 5 (24:24):
Was that Brittany? Brittany?

Speaker 12 (24:25):
And then too coloring right now. I like to color
and I like to choose.

Speaker 5 (24:28):
Okay, everything's all good.

Speaker 4 (24:32):
Anyway. Friday the thirteenth, I don't know. I always mention it,
I never think about it after I say, hey, everybody,
Friday the thirteenth. I don't think I've ever had a
superstition around it. But Lisa, you've got details.

Speaker 8 (24:44):
Okay, this is just a quick background on why Friday
and the thirteenth, those two things are together. It's because
a lot of people think the Last Supper comprised of
Jesus in twelve Disciples, with some counting the thirteenth attendee
as Judas. Oh, Friday is also said to be the
day that Adam and Eve ate the Forbidden Fruit. Oh so,

(25:06):
there's a lot of stuff based in Western Christianity.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
But I want to mention that in pagan times.

Speaker 8 (25:11):
Friday was believed to have a unique association with the
divine feminine, and thirteen, the number was associated with lunar
and menstrual cycles. Okay, so I want to mention that
the Olsen twins were born on a thirteenth June thirteenth,
and our most favorite girl right now, Taylor Swift's birthday
and her favorite number is thirteen, and.

Speaker 5 (25:33):
Her birthday this year is on Friday the thirteenth.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
It's right, So there's two Friday at thirteenth in one year.

Speaker 5 (25:38):
Yeah, wow, December thirteenth.

Speaker 8 (25:40):
So yeah, so that's sort of like the background. Now,
some of the superstitions that you may have never heard of,
but I think I've actually heard of one. And itchy
knows is the sign of an upcoming fight.

Speaker 4 (25:52):
Okay, I've heard that.

Speaker 5 (25:54):
I thought it was if maybe your hands are itchy
someone's talking about you.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
Well, there's that one.

Speaker 8 (25:59):
Yeah, there's and itchy left palm means you'll be losing money,
while an itchy right hand means money will soon be
coming to you.

Speaker 4 (26:07):
Oh, let me.

Speaker 5 (26:07):
Scratch my hand, right hand, it's coming.

Speaker 8 (26:10):
It says never sleep with makeup on your face, or
demons may think you're one of them.

Speaker 1 (26:15):
That makes a lot of sense.

Speaker 4 (26:16):
I try to wash the makeup.

Speaker 1 (26:17):
Yeah, has a wash cloth away so many time I
left my makeup on.

Speaker 4 (26:24):
Yeah, those makeup remover cloths are amazing.

Speaker 8 (26:27):
This one I've actually heard of, and I think about
it now because someone DMed me once.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
Never leave your bag or wallet on the ground.

Speaker 1 (26:34):
Yes, I have heard that. Because you'll lose money.

Speaker 2 (26:36):
Yes, it's like superstitious.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
It means bad luck. I've stopped doing it since someone
told me a couple of years ago.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
Yep, never shake hands or kiss across a threshold. You'll
become enemies.

Speaker 1 (26:46):
Oh, I didn't know that.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
I've heard a lot of stuff with thresholds.

Speaker 8 (26:50):
Really where no again, Like people say it like, oh,
don't walk into a room this way, or don't.

Speaker 4 (26:57):
Go under a ladder.

Speaker 5 (26:59):
I've heard that one.

Speaker 4 (27:00):
So mine.

Speaker 5 (27:01):
Mine is since I was a little kid. When you're
walking down the street with somebody else next to you,
you never split the pole. So you never walk have
the other person walk on the other side of the pole.
That is bad luck. I still believe it to this day.
If I'm walking with my family, my son, my wife,
we're walking down the street and my son goes on
the other side of the.

Speaker 4 (27:20):
Pole, I pull them back. What pole?

Speaker 5 (27:23):
Any kind of a pole?

Speaker 9 (27:24):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (27:25):
Okay, pole, yeah, anything, but the pole has to be
taller than you are. If it's shorter, it's okay. If
it's taller, then you can't split.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
That, okay.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
So this is basically if it's a fire hydrant, basically
what you're saying you can walk in and side. If
it's a street sign like no crossing or whatever that's
probably ten feet tall or five whatever, then you have
to you can't split them.

Speaker 4 (27:44):
But some people will totally alter plans because it's Friday
the thirteenth, Lisa, you were saying off the year you
just recently did that.

Speaker 8 (27:50):
Yeah, so today was a day that we might have
had a birthday party, a Zipline birthday party, and we
decided not to choose this day and to have it
a different day.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (28:00):
Bird poop, they say, is good luck on your head. Yeah,
if it lands on you. I've always heard that.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
I've heard that too, good luck.

Speaker 5 (28:08):
Yeah. I don't know if I want that.

Speaker 4 (28:09):
No, you really don't. You really don't want that on
your head, although I did get a bird pooped on
me recently.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
How's your luck, Bud?

Speaker 4 (28:16):
That hasn't changed?

Speaker 5 (28:21):
Can I you know what, if it wouldn't work on anybody,
it would be you, Billy.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
Can I give one more fun facts?

Speaker 8 (28:26):
There are more accidents on Friday the thirteenth, there's more
traffic accidents on Friday the thirteenth.

Speaker 4 (28:33):
How are things out there on the road?

Speaker 2 (28:34):
Accidents?

Speaker 4 (28:35):
Okay, Anyway, we're coming up on topic time. But do
you give Friday the thirteenth a lot of thought? You
change plans because it's Friday the thirteenth, you have superstitions.
Give us a call six one seven, nine, three one
one one. Oh wait, they can send talkbacks justin if.

Speaker 5 (28:49):
You are listening to us on the iHeartRadio app. Thank
you for that tap that red microphone and let us know.
We want to hear from you.

Speaker 4 (28:54):
Have you been pooped on? Let us know? Six one
seven nine three one one one eight.

Speaker 11 (28:59):
Next, keep going away.

Speaker 4 (29:01):
What is the topic today?

Speaker 10 (29:02):
We're going to be talking about.

Speaker 6 (29:04):
Billy and Lisa present to talk amongst yourselves topic time.

Speaker 4 (29:09):
Yeah, it's a Friday the thirteenth, and we kicked off
a topic a few minutes ago. On the show. Lisa
Dunovan gave us a lot about the history of Friday
the thirteenth and why so many people are so freaked out.
The second you hear it, you never know in advance. Usually,
well you just say, oh my god, that's right, it's
Friday the thirteenth. What am I gonna do? Yeah, it

(29:31):
doesn't seem to bother me one way or another.

Speaker 5 (29:33):
Have you ever seen the Friday the thirteenth movies, Yes,
I have. Yeah, classic, classic, but.

Speaker 4 (29:38):
That's a different thing. That's not really what most people
associate Friday the thirteenth.

Speaker 2 (29:43):
It's more superstitious.

Speaker 5 (29:45):
Yes, yeah, yeah, but I always think about the movies,
and you know, I was a little kid when they
came out and Jason the hockey mask.

Speaker 7 (29:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (29:52):
People still we got Halloween coming up. People still come
as Jason.

Speaker 2 (29:57):
It's a classic.

Speaker 5 (29:57):
Yeah. When I was when I was younger, I've told
U story before before we get to the phones. I
was Jason for Halloween. I was probably like seven years old,
and I have an older cousin that was always causing trouble,
and my mom asked him to put some fake blood
on there. Yeah, and so he did, and he drew.
I can't say what it is, but a very offensive
symbol on the forehead of the mask. Little Justin went

(30:19):
around doing, you know, trick or treating, and I was
wondering why every house was looking at me with this
weird look and get off my lawn. I didn't get
much candy. I went back home. My mother was like,
what is on your mask?

Speaker 4 (30:32):
It was awful. Let's go to Courtney first. Good morning, Courtney. Courtney,
where are you calling from.

Speaker 10 (30:39):
Him?

Speaker 22 (30:40):
I'm on my way to work.

Speaker 11 (30:41):
I'm in Lynn.

Speaker 4 (30:42):
Okay. What do you do for work, Courtney?

Speaker 11 (30:45):
I'm a clinician out of school.

Speaker 4 (30:47):
Good for you, Good for you, Thank you for your service.
Now what have you got to add to the Friday
the thirteenth conversation.

Speaker 11 (30:54):
Well, this is many years ago, but I was my
intentions were good.

Speaker 7 (30:58):
I was.

Speaker 11 (30:59):
I went to Kenny Court to pick up a customized
painting for my mom's birthday. Actually, my mom's birthday is
today September thirteenth, so I was it wasn't ready yet,
so I was waiting and it was going to be
like an hour or so. So I went to just
one of the restaurants on the water, sat in the deck,
ordered a appetizer, and then all of a sudden, I thought,

(31:19):
you know, it was raining, and it wasn't rain.

Speaker 19 (31:24):
It was definitely bird poo and I was so embarrassed,
and everyone saw it around me, so they actually the
table next to me offered to buy me a drink.
So it was quite It was amusing now looking back,
but at the.

Speaker 11 (31:40):
Time, I was, you know, an hour and a half
away from my parents' house and yeah, so was erilliating.

Speaker 1 (31:47):
It was good luck because she got free booze.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
Right, yeah, turned into something good.

Speaker 4 (31:52):
Now. She went up to Maine for the artwork, and
I wonder it was one of those black velvet paintings.

Speaker 8 (31:56):
Oh no, Kenny Bugport's beautiful, beautiful galleries up there?

Speaker 5 (32:00):
What's wrong with you?

Speaker 4 (32:02):
You know the dogs sitting around the dinner table?

Speaker 5 (32:04):
Oh yeah, poker. When speaking of the bird poop, my
father ran.

Speaker 20 (32:11):
The Boston Marathon over a dozen times, and in one
of those marathons, a bird pooped on his head and
he had as fast as time ever. Wow, go out
there today and pray that a bird poop's on you.

Speaker 4 (32:28):
Walk out there, good one.

Speaker 1 (32:29):
I would be running two of it.

Speaker 4 (32:30):
Bird poop. Let's go to Sarah. Hey, Sarah, what have
we got Friday the thirteenth? Baby?

Speaker 21 (32:39):
Hello, I'm just calling because I have a superstition where
when we're driving in the car and we go over
railroad tracks, I lift up my feet made fun of
all the time. I don't know bad luck, someone told
me at once, and I've been stuck with me forever.
No one else has heard of that.

Speaker 4 (32:55):
No, I never me your seat.

Speaker 1 (32:59):
If you're like you have to have a friend in
the pedal lift. Oh quickly, we'll give you a.

Speaker 21 (33:04):
Quick little lift, the quick little list till you get
over it.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
Yeah, okay, hey, people do have that, that's your things.

Speaker 4 (33:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (33:10):
It's always interesting to see people's like superstitions because I know,
like really.

Speaker 4 (33:14):
Well, I'm wanting to hear one that I have that
I'm not aware of. So let's go to Lonnie next, Lonnie,
good morning, what about Friday the thirteenth and superstitions?

Speaker 22 (33:24):
Good morning?

Speaker 10 (33:24):
And happy Friday just went away?

Speaker 4 (33:27):
Well, happy Friday the thirteenth? Do you, Lonnie? What have
you got for us?

Speaker 20 (33:32):
Thank you?

Speaker 13 (33:33):
So, I'm but.

Speaker 10 (33:38):
About Fday the thirteenth, that I was informed that I
would be closing on my on my house the thirteenth,
My fight senses went.

Speaker 11 (33:49):
Up as far as okay, this is a bad segment.

Speaker 4 (33:54):
And she's got a good story too.

Speaker 3 (33:56):
She wouldn't close on her house on Friday the thirteenth
like it was closing date, and she moved it.

Speaker 4 (34:01):
That's when my online was suddenly interrupting on Friday the
thirteenth about bad luck. Let's go to Maggie. Maggie, what
have you got for us?

Speaker 13 (34:11):
Bye?

Speaker 22 (34:12):
I was born on October Friday thirteenth, round midnight, and
it was the first full moon on Friday thirteenth in
over like fifty years. So it's kind of like my day.

Speaker 1 (34:24):
Okay, So you're happy, like you like Friday the thirteenth.

Speaker 22 (34:28):
I'm happy. I have the number thirteen tattooed on me.
M is the thirteenth letter in the alphabet. I'm very
happy about it.

Speaker 4 (34:33):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (34:34):
Oh, Maggie, oh em and I know that M was
the thirteenth lady.

Speaker 2 (34:38):
She's like Taylor Swift. Taylor celebrates the number thirteenth.

Speaker 4 (34:42):
See.

Speaker 1 (34:42):
Yeah, yeah, I grew up again.

Speaker 3 (34:44):
I said this for my mom's one of thirteen. So
thirteen is a big number in our family. But the
thirteenth child is annoying. It's not I gotta say that,
but it's a big number.

Speaker 4 (34:54):
At least. A couple of minutes ago, you said there
were a lot of accidents typically on Friday.

Speaker 2 (34:57):
The thirteenth, out of traffic accident anything we need to
I know going on right now, there's a crash in
Hey Rolin for ninety five northbound.

Speaker 5 (35:04):
Oh, that's up there, yeah.

Speaker 19 (35:07):
There.

Speaker 2 (35:07):
I don't know if this is a superstition or just
common sense, but it's Friday the thirteenth. I'm driving on
ninety five. Giant log truck pulls out.

Speaker 7 (35:15):
In front of me.

Speaker 2 (35:17):
Yeah, I definitely change lanes.

Speaker 22 (35:21):
Don't watch Final Destination.

Speaker 4 (35:22):
Yeah, I was gonna say, that's a scene.

Speaker 5 (35:24):
Yeah, that's Final Destination, the log truck and the logs fall. Okay,
I think everybody, now you move.

Speaker 1 (35:31):
I want to see you said that.

Speaker 3 (35:32):
I've never seen that movie, but I know about that,
and like even when they have steel beams or something,
but I try to get away from them so quick.

Speaker 17 (35:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (35:41):
This morning I was saying, I don't know if I
have a superstition that is one like whenever I'm by
a log truck or one with steel piping or something,
I immediately get away from it.

Speaker 5 (35:50):
Anytime you're on the highway and you see a log truck,
you'll see.

Speaker 4 (35:54):
No cars behind it.

Speaker 5 (35:55):
Yeah, just an empty lane.

Speaker 4 (35:57):
And mostly because of the movie The Final Destination. Oh my,
let's go to Linda next. Hey Linda, what have you
got for us?

Speaker 7 (36:05):
It's similar to the railroad tracking railroad track crossing. Yeah,
I heard when I was younger you lift your feet
over a bridge, so I kind of do the same
thing sometimes as an adult I still do it sometimes,
but as a kid, I used to do it all
the time because I heard you do it for. I
don't know if it's to ward off bad luck or

(36:27):
to bring you good luck or what.

Speaker 4 (36:29):
Whennie had a good question. You're driving the car, what
do you do when you take your feet off the floor.

Speaker 7 (36:34):
It's just as you're going on and getting off the bridge.

Speaker 4 (36:38):
I don't know why.

Speaker 3 (36:39):
See, I have heard you all all your windows down
in case you go in case the bridge collapses.

Speaker 1 (36:44):
You're off the bridge, you can get out. I've heard that,
but I haven't heard the foot thing.

Speaker 4 (36:48):
That's a good one.

Speaker 2 (36:49):
Hot tip.

Speaker 4 (36:50):
Yeah, Kathy, you're up next where you call it from, Kathy.

Speaker 13 (36:55):
I'm coming from Dorchester.

Speaker 4 (36:57):
Okay, Kathy, what's going on in Dorchester? You think about
Friday the thirteenth?

Speaker 13 (37:03):
Well, my birthday is August thirteenth, and I was born
on my sister's sixth birthday, so the thirteenth is and
my daughter was born on January thirteenth, so the thirteenth
is very special.

Speaker 4 (37:17):
Do you have a thirteen tattoo?

Speaker 2 (37:20):
No, not yet.

Speaker 4 (37:21):
You don't go out and get it today on the thirteenth.

Speaker 1 (37:23):
Wait, bit, Catty, do you have the same thoughts as
me about the bridge.

Speaker 7 (37:27):
Yes, that was what I was.

Speaker 13 (37:30):
I did calling for as we used to roll our
windows down and still do.

Speaker 15 (37:34):
When we go over bridges.

Speaker 13 (37:36):
But I didn't realize that it was because if you
drive off, that's the way to get out. I just
thought it was like, good luck.

Speaker 4 (37:44):
That's all.

Speaker 2 (37:45):
I think, that's a bonus.

Speaker 4 (37:46):
Yeah, let me think about their power windows. You can
turn them all down right from the door, so it's easy.

Speaker 5 (37:53):
You know, my aunt has a this is a phobia,
more of a phobia, but she even to this day
when she goes over a bridge, like to go to
Cape Cod just to hide on the floor in the
back seat under this.

Speaker 1 (38:03):
So she can't drive.

Speaker 5 (38:04):
Yeah, no, no, no, she can't go over bridges. She
can she has to be kind of cowering.

Speaker 18 (38:08):
In the back.

Speaker 4 (38:08):
She has a real phobia, that's about bridges.

Speaker 5 (38:11):
About bridges.

Speaker 4 (38:11):
What is cowering in the back going to do if
something happens in the bridge? Can't see, doesn't have to
look down and must hate the bridge over the Cape
Cod Canal.

Speaker 5 (38:20):
Yeah, and we have a family house out there.

Speaker 4 (38:22):
Oh god, oh yeah, yeah, you got to talk back
in there. Justice.

Speaker 1 (38:26):
We have so many calls. Can I get to Stephanie
real quick?

Speaker 5 (38:28):
Yeah, okay, Stephanie, let's give her some shine.

Speaker 4 (38:30):
Hey, Stephanie.

Speaker 9 (38:31):
Go. So, my brother and I, when we were younger,
whenever we would drive past the cemetery, would hold our
breasts because we would swear the spirits would come in
if we'd breathe, and we wouldn't re breathe until we
passed a white house with black shutters.

Speaker 4 (38:47):
What if there was no white house with black shutters.

Speaker 13 (38:50):
Well, it was a rule, he added.

Speaker 8 (38:52):
I don't know if it was legit or just I
was a younger sister, so you know in New England
there are a lot of white house black shutters.

Speaker 1 (39:01):
I had to tell it to you. I think he
was trying to kill you.

Speaker 7 (39:06):
No luck yet.

Speaker 4 (39:08):
By the way, I've always been a fan of the
