**Get Ready for a Workout Like No Other**

This episode of the morning show is all about fitness, weird workout hacks, and the latest news from the world of entertainment. The hosts dive into the top 10 fittest cities in America, where Boston surprisingly ranks number 10. They also discuss the upcoming movie "The Odyssey" and the impressive performance of its star, Zendeia. But it's not all about the big names - the hosts also share their own personal workout stories, including a bizarre technique that involves blowing on each other's necks to get that extra rep.

The conversation takes a turn when the hosts discuss the latest trends in fitness, from running backwards to working out in pajamas. They also talk about the importance of being a judgment-free zone in the gym, where everyone should feel comfortable being themselves. And, of course, no episode would be complete without some celebrity news - this time, it's about Ariana Grande's upcoming shows in Boston and the latest from the world of music.

But what really sets this episode apart is the hosts' willingness to share their own quirks and weird workout habits. From taping their mouths shut to breathing only through their noses to running backwards, they're not afraid to get a little weird. And it's all in the name of fitness and having fun.

So, if you're looking for a dose of motivation, inspiration, and a healthy dose of weirdness, tune in to this episode of the morning show. You won't want to miss the hosts' hilarious and relatable conversation about all things fitness and entertainment.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now first morning show in Boston.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 1 (00:04):
It's just a great start to my day on Kids
run Away. Well, good morning, everybody, welcome in. It is Thursday,
it is July sixteenth, and I got to tell you
as we wake up this morning. It's kind of cool
first things first, but it's also pretty clear. No haze yet. No,
it's coming in though.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
It's coming in, and it's going to be bad by
this afternoon.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Like like worse than yesterday. It was awful, yes, actually
just some awful. Eyes were burning apocalypse.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
We were down at the Tall Ships. I was standing
right next to the Polish.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Vessel as you should as a.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Yes, and I took a big nice picture. It's posted
on my Instagram. But yeah, it was like apocalyptic.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Yeah, it's pretty crazy, I know. I know.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
McCabe took some some videos and pictures around Boston. I
couldn't believe it when.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
I saw it. Yeah, it looks just scary when you
stand next to some of these vessels, like you wonder
how do they get around, Like how do they pull
in and dock somewhere? They are like what two football
fields long on that massive I know, so they're gone right.
Some of them are still pulling out, but most of
them have already left. The good news is the Dutch

(01:19):
ship is going to stop at Marina Bay Bay. They're
all heading Marina Bay. They're all headed in different directions.
I think I told you yesterday. Columbia left two nights
ago because they're headed to Canada next. Oh boy, so
the wildfires.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Toronto yesterday had the worst air quality in the world.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
I guess.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
I mean, really, to put into perspective, we're complaining about
the yellow skies and you know how bad it is.
Have you seen the videos of the fires in Canada.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
It's insane, hundreds hundreds of fires. The video clips are
insanely scary. It's awful. But yes, so the Dutch ship
will stop at Marina Bay. The Portuguese ship fittingly is
headed for New Bedford. The huge Portuguese population in New Bedford.
Did you go on the Polish ship lease? No, I

(02:12):
just stood next to it. There's a long line, I'm
sure there was, Yeah, Dovent, Yeah, you could have spoken
in your native tongue. Hey Dovent, Hello old Poland, and
you make a really good borche. You could have brought
some some borche Oh, I was talking to one of
the sailors about it a little bit. So yeah, So
sail Boston came to an end. Fireworks over the harbor

(02:35):
last night at nine fifteen. Uh, today would be a
good day to be around Boston Harbor. You'll see some
of the ships pulling out and you can wave goodbye
to the cadets. Go early, go this morning.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
Yeah, it's gonna get worse as the day progresses. Right, yeah,
the air quality was terrible.

Speaker 5 (02:52):
Oh hi, it's the mayor of the South bed. This
smoky ear is killing me. Well, I went to Benson
Boon last night with the Aagle of Gaze. What a
terrific show he put on. His voice is really strong,
and he WoT three sexy outfits and he flipped seven
times Billy and he kneeled everyone. Congratulations to Argentina on

(03:15):
their soccer win. Let's play Don't Cry for Me Argentina.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Oh, he's the first one every day five am on
the dot that Madonna Don't Cry for Me. She did
Don't Cry for Me Argentina, And fittingly, she's in the
halftime show on Sunday, right Argentina, Oh my god, I
didn't even put that together.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
Okay, she does the song, could she still hit the notes?

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Well, I don't think she'll do that. Someday, maybe she will.
I mean it would make sense. Argentina, Spain, three o'clock
on Sunday. I watched every minute of the match yesterday. Wow,
bills in, I am in. I'm a little late. Yeah,
he was texting me. This is that most unreal game ever. Oh,
Lionel Messi is unbelieved. He's like so far above most

(04:14):
of the other players. He's he's such a standout. What
he can do with his feet, Yeah, amazing. And to
think he was almost a dwarf yes, yes. And human
growth hormone yes. They say he only would have been
like two feet tall four to seven. Yeah, he was.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
He stopped growing at four seven, I think when he
was nine or ten years old, and he had to
take HGH to you know, encourage growth, and he did.
He now here I think he's five six or five seven.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
It works. The fact is he's pretty much the smallest
guy on the field, but he's an incredible standout. It's Unbelievabay,
he kicks the ball about sixty yards with a bend
to it. Yeah, so what lands right on one of
his teammates feet or his head. It's just magical to
watch it.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
So most of the other players, when it's one v one,
you know, the other player will usually kick the all
away kind of the ball kind of gets the flecking
messy goes somehow gets around them.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
He's unbelievable. Unbelievable. So I'm all in Sunday at three
o'clock and there will be a watch party on City
Hall Plaza. You have a big book Club announcement this morning. Okay,
again like Christmas morning. I woke up.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
It's Jody peacodeh yes, So the link is live at
Lisa Dunavan.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Want to wait.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
It's also live on the Kiss Instagram. She's coming back
for Hollow Bones and you get to come to the
book club on September fourteenth. The book doesn't even come
out until September fifteenth, so you get it before anyone
else gets it. Okay, And she's calling into the show
this morning, Jody Pico at eight ten.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
What time is she calling it? Eight ten? This morning?
Eight ten, Jody Pico book Club. The link went up
like what twenty five minutes ago. Yep, it's a good deal.
It's a big Night Live on September fourteenth, Get it
before anyone else can buy it. Yep, I just say
that right, Yeah, okay, Lisa. Now the entertainment update with

(05:59):
a Billy on Kiss Away. So, Ariana Grande comes to
Boston next week, three shows Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. This morning,
we're kicking off the talkback for tickets. When you here
and Ariana Grande song on kiss you send us a
talkback and you tell us why you should be there,
and the talkbacks are already coming in Good morning, Kiss

(06:21):
went Away. I am posted. I am ready for these
Ariana Grande tickets. Bring on the talkbacks. Please please please
pick me.

Speaker 6 (06:29):
If there were three concerts on my summer bucket list,
it would be Ariana Grande, Katsi and Olivia Rodrigo.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
Katzi and Olivia Rodrigo would be for my daughters.

Speaker 7 (06:40):
But please please please, this one is for me and
I would absolutely love to see her.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Arian It's a huge show. Yeah, I can't. I hope
I get to go. We're all hoping we get to go.
I want to go to Ariana Ground. Yay, we're going,
so we mentioned yesterdo Bill, I would go. I got
just a couple of guys show gets yet, but we're
gonna hope and we're gonna pray. Yeah, we've been begging.

(07:07):
You know. This happens to be a very big program.
It is a lot of clout in the company. Yeah,
we don't ask for much. She's done our shows many times. Yeah,
can we get some noise? Yeah? Hell was that?

Speaker 4 (07:27):
I don't know well? And also that time he had
the he had the ears on the ears on the
Irina Grond headphones with the ears.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Yeah. Yeah, so just a picture of Billy wearing those
and saying this all right on our Grande. Can we
get some noise there? Yeah? Own man standing there were
they rabbit ears or they were like bunny The headphones
on her designed headphone had a kind of a feather

(07:54):
that how happened to those headphones? You gave him to
one of your interns. So I mentioned yesterday Ariana Grande
had technical issues with her mic at to show this week.
Pretty cool though. The crowd jumped in and sang the
song Yeah. Reminds me of Lewis Capaldi, who know who

(08:20):
Lewis Capaldi when he had like a tourette's hit him
on stage at Glastonbury amazing. No, that's when you know
you're connecting with your fans. Huh, when instantly they jump
in and save you. That's pretty cool stuff. So anyway,

(08:43):
Ariana Grande, the talkback for tickets is going on. You
hear a song on kiss you send us a talkback meantime.
Benson Boone was on stage in the TV Garden last night,
happy to be here in Boston, Ladies, gentlemen. The twenty
six was a man tour are now. He was also

(09:10):
on Boston Common yesterday throwing a frisbee around, and he
talked about it on stage. What good the city and
it is extremely cuman here, Cuban and hot geez smoky.

Speaker 8 (09:26):
I saw a couple of you walking around the park
in the middle of the city yesterday.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
I was drenched in sweat throwing the frisbee with my boys,
But I love the city. Thank you for having me.
Weren't you on Boston Common? This is amazing. Yeah. I
had to meet Boston TV crew with me and we
were shooting all over Boston Common and the public gardens.
I probably walked right by he and his crew throwing
the frisbee and he had no idea. Well, I mean

(09:52):
It's not like I was looking for Benson Boone throwing
frisbee on on the comment. I wonder if he had
his shirt off. It was really hot, really hot. So
he all the flips last night, nothing went wrong, I
don't think.

Speaker 9 (10:04):
So.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
I keep watching Someday. Yeah, he's gonna come flying off
that piano, so I guess it's not gonna end.

Speaker 4 (10:14):
Well, he did seven flips probably last night and landed
every single one.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Okay, he's playing frisbee buddy in the Boston Common.

Speaker 9 (10:20):
Why does a frisbee appear larger the closer it gets
and then it hit me?

Speaker 1 (10:27):
But yeah, you'd have no idea. You never want to
get hit in the face with a frisbee. Now, I've
been hit with one, really Yeah. You know when it's
worse when you're lying on the beach and you just
dozed off, you know, lying down on the beach and
all of a sudden, the frisbee comes hitch on the
bridge of the nose. Does that happened to you? I
think it has. I think it has.

Speaker 10 (10:46):
So.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
The movie The Odyssey opens this week, expected to do
at least one hundred million, which, by the way, would
be the third movie this year to do over one
hundred million. There was Toy Story five, and there was
the Super Mario movie, and Zendeia is in the Odyssey. Actually,
she got an Emmy nomination the other day for Euphoria,
and she was on Fallin Last Night and talked about that.

Speaker 11 (11:08):
It was so you know, it was such a huge
part of my life, and it was so much in
my twenties, and I feel like I made so many lasting,
loving friendships, and I learned so much about myself, and
I honestly, I think the most important thing that I
always carry with me is the people who connected and
loved row.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
So she is in the Odyssey with her husband Tom Holland,
and apparently he was cast in the movie before she was.
It's a pretty funny story.

Speaker 11 (11:36):
Tom got the call.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
Ooh okay, okay, okay, okay.

Speaker 11 (11:41):
Christopher Nolan called, and my heart was just so full.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
I was so excited for him.

Speaker 11 (11:48):
What I mean, he's the best and he deserves it.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
He deserves it so much, Yes, And I was just
so excited.

Speaker 11 (11:54):
Also, I'm you know, I'm obviously his biggest fan, but
I'm also a Chris Nolan fan. Yeah, right, Like so
when that kind of opportunity comes around. I was just
so excited, like I didn't even put myself in that
equation at all, like we already won, you know. And
then he he had another meeting, so he had the
script a little you know, peaky peek.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
I gotta know, you.

Speaker 11 (12:19):
Know, Okay, So I looked and then he went off
to his meeting, and then when he came home, I
was like, okay, like, tell me all about it, Like
I was, he what was it?

Speaker 10 (12:27):
Like?

Speaker 1 (12:27):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 11 (12:28):
I was like so ready, so excited. And he goes
read this again and I was like why, Like I
just read it.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
We just read it last night.

Speaker 11 (12:36):
And he's like, read it again but with a scene
in mind, and I was like, yo, stop it right,
like I just yeah, I freaked out. I was so
grateful and that he got to be the one to
tell me.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
And it was so special, especially when I have a
Christopher Nolan script in your house, but even more so
when you find out by surprise that you've been cast.
That's a cool story. Yeah. The movie is his highest
rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Wow, you gotta see this star
ratings and we have our Showcase Cinema person on the

(13:13):
show this.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
Morning, Alyssa will be calling in and giving us all
of the important details.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
It's going to be a massive movie.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
It must be so cool to work for Showcase. Oh god, yeah,
the movies ahead of time.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
Yeah yeah, hey SB Awards last night of Marcello Hernandez
from Saturday Night Live was the host.

Speaker 10 (13:30):
I also must say it's an honor to be here
among so many incredible athletes and Jake Paul, my dad
and my stepdad are both here and they're over fifty,
and I know that's how you like them. The Knicks
won their first championship since nineteen seventy three, and to
put into perspective how long ago that was. In nineteen

(13:53):
seventy three, hockey players didn't wear helmets, basketball had no
three point line, and in nineteen ev any three, Bill
Belichick was the age his girlfriend is.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
Now okay, pretty good? Yeah, Jalen Brunson of the next
GOT Athlete of the Year, first and foremost. Uh to be.

Speaker 8 (14:16):
Award of this award and with a group like that
means the world.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
So I want to say thank you to the fans.

Speaker 8 (14:23):
I really do appreciate y'all, my family, my teammates, just
everyone that's always believed in me. I lost the words
and it's been it's been all over run, I'll say,
to say the least.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
Yeah, he also got Best Championship Performance and the Knicks
got Best Team. Jason Tatum was at the SP's last
night on the Red Carpet. Of course, he was asked
about the Jaylen Brown trade. If I'm being transparent, it's weird. Yeah.

Speaker 9 (14:49):
Right, I've been on the Celtics for nine years and
he was my teammate every single one of those. Do
you understand throughout you know, the course of a career
that the NBA is a business and people change teams
and change coaches in front office, but it doesn't make
it any easier.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
There you go. More on the Jalen Brown trade. We're
going to miss him.

Speaker 4 (15:12):
I mean nine years they played together every single season
and now he's going to show up and Saleen won't be.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
That so weird. Hey, Lisa, how about this one? Netflix
is releasing the first season of Stranger Things in the
style of a VHS tape. It's going to be very grainy.
Ten years since Stranger Things premiered, the cast will look
back on the last ten years. I'll watch it so
on Netflix right now, can't wait? Oh my god, here
we go, Nostellgia time, puloid shots. All of these made

(15:46):
me so happy. Come on, let's look at these.

Speaker 4 (15:50):
Remember VHS tapes I was younger and he rent them
at video store obviously Blockbuster, Absolute moment.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (15:57):
But then there was like there was a place right
down the street, Avenue Video, that I used to go
with my dad, and those video stores, you know, you'd
go in and in the corner they'd have like a
curtain went into a different set, back room that you
weren't allowed to go into. Yea, as a kid, it
was always like what's going on back there?

Speaker 1 (16:12):
And you never went beyond that.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
I never did well because they kind of aged out
after that. When I grew up, they kind of were gone.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
Do you know that store is still there? Avenue Videos
not there? Well, the video store I'm thinking of, was
the same situation, only now the entire store is blacked out. Really, Yeah,
didn't you have to leave with the videos and brown bags?

Speaker 4 (16:32):
Are they a sex shop? It was a legitimate video store.
They had like the.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
There was a special room out there.

Speaker 4 (16:40):
Right now it's a whole store of what thanks Bill,
Well are you are you.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
Going to that store and buying No? I drive by
it all the time. I'm like, I can't believe that
still exists. Who goes in there? And occasionally you'll see
someone walking out? Yeah, there's a place in sounding the
headship with a video all bags of videos? Who still
has those? Like players like oh vhs Yeah? Oh, I
mean Justin's father made them, Okay, just saying he shot

(17:10):
all types of film, not just you know what, he
had to pay the bells. I put food in my
mouth exactly, so be it. And then those today? Is
that took a lot of food? How does he do it?

(17:32):
Do we have time for this? Is this a real
story that ninety five year old William Shatner is going
to perform riot Fest with a metal band.

Speaker 4 (17:40):
He has a metal album on the ways. He's ninety five,
right like Bill said, and he's doing metal. I mean
he does have a history of doing obviously singing, but
of singing metal songs.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
Many is that him? Yeah? Wasn't he just in Boston
at like Comic Con or something? Memory we had like
a little I'm not sure is he coming for I
think he's coming in? Has that been here home?

Speaker 10 (18:09):
Around?

Speaker 1 (18:10):
That's in August's August Yeah, okay, and I think he's
in the lineup.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
He definitely is the Orlando Bloom Oh yeah, okay, okay,
maybe he'll bring his metal band with him.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
We're brought to you by the ninety nine Restaurants. Lobster
Lover's Weekend is back at the ninety nine restaurant. Lisa
and her kids were there the other night. Uh, this Friday,
that's tomorrow through Sunday. Or to their famous colossal or
hot buttered Lobster Roll and you get a free three
course meal upgrade this weekend only. You gotta love the
Nines and there you go. It must be nice to

(18:42):
see Orlando Bloom, Billy and Lisa kiss. Okay, so we
get another list this morning. Every morning it seems like
we get another list, and this one is the fittest
cities in America, and Boston is on the list. Okay,
I'm all in on this.

Speaker 3 (18:59):
Yeah, most fit and least fit cities. So thirty five
factors went into this list. Residents, activity levels, chronic disease rates,
to parks, air quality, transit and recreation access.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
So that's what they sort of, you know, based it on.

Speaker 3 (19:16):
Okay, Boston is on the top ten fittest cities.

Speaker 1 (19:20):
We made the top ten, so we are at number ten.
Oh so we just made it. Made it okay, But
we're in okay.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
Other cities like the top five or Denver was number five,
Seattle was number four, Minneapolis three d c. Was number two,
and then Arlington, Virginia was number one. And it's the
second time it's been number one.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
Wait Arlington Virginia. Yes, what are they doing? They have
got it.

Speaker 3 (19:47):
They have a lot of parks, they have a lot
of walking and biking trails, public transportation. Rates of obesity
and chronic disease are also measured, so they scored the highest.

Speaker 4 (19:57):
Yeah, listen, don't sleep on walking. Walking is one of
the most important things. Oh yeah, you just walk. You'll
see a help benefit.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
Absolutely, and more and more people are walking. We walk
more than we jogner. Actually, you can burn more more calories. Yeah,
if you walk more of an incline, less stress on
the knees.

Speaker 4 (20:14):
Yeah, definitely. You know, well, we made top ten. That's
pretty good.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
It's not bad. Yeah, that's pretty good. Yeah, but I
wonder what the scale of fitness is, like what are
they basing it? You know, like how fit exactly.

Speaker 4 (20:25):
Well, it's again, like Lisa said, it's like, you know,
the chronic diseases and access to recreational activities exactly. So
like Arlington must say, have a lot of parks apparently,
and outdoor things to do.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
I'm sorry, I think we should be way higher than ten.
This is a fit city. I don't care what they say.

Speaker 4 (20:41):
If you want to be fitter, you have to be
like Lenny Kravitz. Did you see that story? So, yeah, fitness.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
He's on the cover of Men's Health. He works out
in the leather pants, no joke. There is a picture
of him with his trainer lifting.

Speaker 1 (20:56):
I don't know. He's got some big dumb bell whatever
that whatever you call that, a bench machine you've called that. Yeah,
I didn't see the picture. Oh my god, John bills
our barbell. It was a barb bell. And he's literally
like in black leather pants.

Speaker 3 (21:09):
And he does it on purpose, he said, because if
he can fit into those pants, he knows he's okay.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
He's sixty two now.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
He says he's fitter now than he was when he
was fifty. He also fasts all day and doesn't eat
until four pm.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
Yeah, that's it. That's nothing new.

Speaker 4 (21:26):
People have been fasting for centuries, but it's very popular now.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
A lot of health benefits to fasting. Well, he's got
an eight pack, he does that's sixty two.

Speaker 4 (21:34):
Look at the pictures now. So he has leather pants on.
He's also working out with his sunglasses on a normal thing.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
So basically, however he looks or whatever he's wearing on stage,
he's working out it. He works out and sometimes he'll
run in jeans. Really kind of weird. Well, everybody's got
a weird thing. You have a lot of weird fitness.

Speaker 4 (21:54):
Well, just you know, on the topic of you know,
weird jim things, Jim packs, things you might see in
the gym. You know, Listen, I spent a lot of
time in the gym. I've seen a lot of things.
I'm a weird myself. Yeah, you know, I've done the
whole tape my mouth when I'm doing cardio to try
to only breathe through my nose.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
You have your mouth taped. I've done it. I don't
do it anymore. Be the first I've heard of this one.
My mouth to sleep, well, my wife does too, and
she wears the eye patches. It's kind of creepy. You
use it while you work out, while you're running or
doing cardio. If you were next to me at the gym,
you getting looks. I honestly, I would look at you.

(22:31):
I've done that. I've also at least it would immediately
pick up her phone and call me. Guy next to
me on the treadmill and he's got his mouth taped.

Speaker 4 (22:39):
This is why this is a judgment free zone for
I don't judge anybody in the gym because I'm weird myself.
I've done the multiple layers of clothes, so a whole
sweatsuit with t shirts on while.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
Doing cardio, yeah Sor yeah.

Speaker 4 (22:52):
I did have the sauna suit once, you know, the
big inflatable suit that you wear got work.

Speaker 1 (22:57):
I don't know, you sweat more doesn't really work? I'm
not sure. In hockey, when I've played, like in prep
school and everything, a lot of the guys would show
up after the summer. They put on some weight, drinking
beer and everything, and they wore a rubber suit underneath
their hockey gear. Yeah, and would sweat for hours on
the ice. And how they get back into shape.

Speaker 4 (23:13):
Yeah, Yeah, I almost passed out because I took too
much pre workout.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
I've done that a couple of times. What's a pre
work worko?

Speaker 4 (23:20):
It's like a powder you put into water has caffeine
other things in there to kind of give you energy,
but if you take too much then it.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
Can be bad. Do you wipe down the machine? Absolutely? Yeah,
you have to. I mean that's an etiquette thing that's
you have to wipe it is. But I have a
question for all of you.

Speaker 3 (23:35):
You know, they have the mats that you do stretching
on after you use the machines that you've wiped down.
I always noticed that not many people wipe the mat
down when they're done stretching. And if you think about it,
it's totally gross because you're already sweating and then you're
laying down on the mat, and then you get up
and you leave, and then somebody else comes in and
they're lane. It's like, so, how many people actually wipe

(23:57):
down the mat you can.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
Actually see this outline of their body? You can't. I've
seen that before. Even a better question, how many people
wipe down the seat at a spin class when they're done. Well,
you're supposed to, I know you were supposed to. How
many people do you think too, or we just get
up and go.

Speaker 4 (24:15):
Like the classes that I take that I take spin
classes and they have someone that comes in and wipes
them down.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
Don't have to worry about that. Now I have a
person that wipes at the plate a drive in their job.
I'm tuskin. Yeah, yeah, you don't wipe down your own machine. There.
I appreciate it. They do that, which is nice. Yeah,
you want to know the last one? Yes, every one,
because yeah.

Speaker 4 (24:34):
It's a safe space here, right, it's just before talking.
I say it all the time.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
Okay. So when I would be training, you know, say legs,
you know, and squatting heavy weight, I don't really squat
heavy anymore. I had to work up art and zeb
and we found that when we were going for a
heavy lift, like very heavy, okay, when I would go
down and now I'm giving everything, right, Yeah, this is

(25:00):
like the toenail thing. This is yeah.

Speaker 4 (25:03):
I mean he talks about it too. So when I
go down for that last rap, he would go down,
he'd be spotting me. He'd squat down behind me. Ah okay,
and then when I get to the bottom as I'm
gonna push up, he would blow on my neck and
the cold air or the air on my neck would
actually give me power to stand back up. Its sound

(25:25):
look at Riley's face. It sounds crazy, but it worked.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
This relationship that you have with Zeb ultimately gonna go
to a very strange it's just the French. It's it's
on the verge of madness. It's it's about having an edge.
That's all these things are about, trying blows on your
neck and edge.

Speaker 4 (25:46):
I know it sounds crazy. No, we don't work out
together as much anymore. I don't do that heavyweight any longer.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
And don't you play Ella Langley when you're trying to
get that final per That's okay, that's the new blowing
on the neck. Oh come on baby.

Speaker 4 (26:01):
Yeah, it's a part in the choos in Texas at
the end. So if I'm listening to the song, I
try to time it to get to my you know,
heavy rep and okay, I guess the motivation you.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
Are so strange. But that's the topic right now. That's
what we want to talk about.

Speaker 3 (26:17):
Are you working out in leather pants or is someone
blowing on your neck?

Speaker 1 (26:21):
Yeah, weird things that you're doing or someone else is
doing that you're witnessing in a gym, Yeah, we can
you beat my stuff? I don't know. I doubt it.
I'm a weirdo. Or even if you're out walking or running,
things that just jump out at you and you say,
how is that all about?

Speaker 3 (26:38):
Now, it's Topic Time with Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
And Topic Time presented by Catches Law Group the personal
injury experts It catches law dot com. If, by the way,
you've been injured on the job, no fault of your own,
you can actually set up a free consult at catches
law dot com. So Lisa this morning found a list
of the ten fits his cities in America. Boston is
on the list, but only on number ten, and that

(27:05):
surprises me. I think we should be much higher up.
But it got us talking about workout hacks. Jim Hacks.
Lord knows Justin's got a few weird ones, but we
wanted to know everybody else's because I think this is
a big workout city. I think it's an extremely fit city,
and I think people have a lot of weird stories
to tell from their workouts, from their gyms or their

(27:26):
own personal routines.

Speaker 4 (27:28):
I'm just saying, yeah, people are dming me about the
blowing story.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
Oh yeah, you have been blowing. I know it sounds weird.

Speaker 4 (27:36):
It's just uh, you know, when you're trying to push
your body to its absolute limit.

Speaker 1 (27:41):
Yeah, but you'll do anything. Oh, he's a good friend.
He's a great friend. My friends a great friend. Yeah,
if you missed it, you know, on a heavy squad,
he would blow on my neck like this went down?
Something else? Does he do that with other men? Not
just me? Okay? Yeah, well we have makes it even straight.
We have a bond. It's a friendship bond. That's what
That's what it is. Now. Can I ask you something
about that? Sure? Because at what point did zeb Be

(28:04):
your friend come to you and say, hey, okay, good question.
By the way, Uh, you know, when you get to
that point when you want to do that final rep
and you're struggling to get the weight up, I'm going
to walk up behind you and blow on your neck.
He said that to you.

Speaker 4 (28:17):
No, he didn't. He didn't tell me he did it.
I don't know how he thought about it, but he
did it without me knowing, and I felt it and
didn't know what it was.

Speaker 1 (28:24):
I felt. Did someone ever do it to him?

Speaker 4 (28:27):
I'm not sure. I have to ask him. But when
I got up, he goes, did you fail that that air?
And I said yeah, and he goes, that was me
blowing on you. And I was very weird a out
buy it, but it helped me get the rep.

Speaker 3 (28:36):
So can I just say one more thing about your
friend zeb Okay, he happens to.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
Be like really attractive, very fit. I know that. You
mean He's like, yeah, him.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
Right, So it's like that's kind of an interesting piece
of the story too, that, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
There are many females that would want him to blow
on them. Yeah, here he is blowing on me. Yes, No,
I know it's really not about us. Can I ask
one more follow up? Would you get upset if you
found out that he's blowing on other people's necks? None?

Speaker 4 (29:06):
Whatsoever? Okay, he can blow on anybody to blow on.
You'll send him your way.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
Okay, right, Hey, good morning morning crew. This one isn't
so much weird as it fascinates me. While I'm out
doing my walk, there's a young kid, probably in his
twenties that literally, at full speed runs backwards. Wow, and
it does like a three mile loop going backwards. I
see him going up and going back never misses a beat,

(29:32):
have a good day.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
Yeah, that is so cool. Yeah. They recommend that if
you're doing distance running, if you're training for marathons, they
recommend to do some backwards running. Does your son Dylan
do backwards running? I bet he probably does. That's really hard,
doesn't He probably should start. I didn't know that that
was part of the training for long distance. I know
it is. For knee problems.

Speaker 4 (29:51):
You have knee issues, running or even walking backwards can
be helpful.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
Yeah, no way, So did you run backwards? I did some? Yeah,
but you don't like this guy's totally into running backwards.
If he's running long distance backwards, that's another animal. But
you know, to turn around occasionally during a long run.
I have to start doing this. Yeah, I'm telling you,
because they're running do so. You need all of the
muscles in your legs working if you're running distance, so

(30:15):
it's another set of muscles that you're working there.

Speaker 4 (30:17):
Okay, if anybody in the Melton area happens running backwards
and Melton, please take a video and send it our way.

Speaker 1 (30:25):
Good morning, morning crew.

Speaker 7 (30:27):
I've been doing a lot of running lately, five k
a day and one practice that I do try to
at least try for half the run is I'll take
my shirt off and double it over, triple it over,
and I'll cover my face, nose and mouth to try
to do some oxygen deprivation. Definitely get some looks, have

(30:47):
a great Thursday.

Speaker 1 (30:50):
What's the point of that. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (30:53):
Oxygen deprivation again, it's just it's some health benefit there.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
I mean, I use build your stamina.

Speaker 4 (30:59):
Yeah, Like you know, I would take my mouth shut
so I'd breathe only through my nose.

Speaker 1 (31:03):
Yeah, makes it a little bit harder. Okay.

Speaker 6 (31:05):
You know what I can't figure out is why there's
this pajama theme trend. These kids working out in those
like pajamas that have like the I don't know, some
scene those pictures on the soft like pajama pants. I
feel like, you know what I'm talking about, But I
feel like sweating and working out on those is so gross.
And then we got kids working out in jeans. I
just don't get held as the thing. And then this

(31:26):
one's kind of weird. But like what's up with young
girls now like not wearing like a song that they
were underwear with their legs they just like see the line.
It just looks like granny panties.

Speaker 1 (31:34):
And I just look, there's lots of unpacked.

Speaker 2 (31:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (31:40):
Well yeah, the pajama thing, well that's a young person.
They wear them everywhere though.

Speaker 4 (31:45):
I heard them playing monster pajama pants and then yeah
for sure.

Speaker 1 (31:49):
Yeah absolutely, and you'll see them on the plane all
the time at the airport. Yeah, slippers and like you know,
donkey pajamas or something.

Speaker 4 (31:57):
We have talked about that before, about in the pajamas.
But yeah, listen, the gym is a wonderful place. It
really should be a judgment free zone. But you know,
you do see some weird stuff there.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
Yeah, and it's I think it is a judgment free zone.
It's not like anybody says anything. You just kind of
give it a gaze and you're like, oh, oh that's interesting. Yeah,
it's you want to uplift people. That's important.

Speaker 4 (32:18):
You want to support each other, and if people want
to be weird like myself, let them hame Winning Crew.

Speaker 11 (32:23):
Me, mom of two on my way to work.

Speaker 9 (32:26):
Shoving my face with each chocolate stuffed.

Speaker 3 (32:28):
Croissant and drinking my Lineona Pasta lat with a new

Speaker 2 (32:34):
Tella cold Pham, wondering how we could possibly only be
