Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, everybody, Welcome to the after show podcast Justin and Winnie.
Although it is not after the show.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Winnie behind the scenes, it's mid show.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
It's eight thirty in the morning. We're an hour and
a half early and we're doing that because we are
going out for local Legends today, so we're leaving a
little bit early, kind of beat the traffic. And we
did not want to leave you a hanging like we
did on Friday.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Friday, you left them hang in.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Well, I had on Friday. I have Ernie Bach. He
calls in. Yeah, he was away for three weeks. Actually
he sent me the craziest stuff. So Ernie Bach, obviously
everyone knows Ernie Bak is like famous in Massachusetts. He
as a records a commercial every Friday. He calls in
from his house. He has like a board. So whatever,
long story anyway, he was flying around the world. He

(00:43):
does all these kinds of I don't even know charity stuff.
But he was in India and Hong Kong all across right.
So I asked him how it was and he said
it was amazing. And he said, I'm going to send
you a video to give you kind of a look
of what people live like in India. It was a
video of him walking through a goat market. Yeah, and

(01:03):
there are people walking around happy as can be. I
mean not to be too graphic, but blood rivers of blood,
goat blood because it's a market there, they're literally you
can see them splattering, slaughtering the goats and the and
the blood is just on the ground. Okay, it's outside,
and there's people kids walking around barefoot.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Oh okay, hell yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Happy as can be, Whinnie, you know what happy as
can be. I'm just saying jealous, And I'm just saying
so it really gives you a look at and Ernie
does a ton of stuff in Africa. You know, in
Africa he has boch hospitals, he does all Yeah, these
these like villagers, they have no health care. He does
all this stuff. So that's cool. That's why we didn't
have it on Friday.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Being of health care. You gotta roll for healthcare this
week for oh, we have until Thursday. I STI don't
understand what I'm agreeing to.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Just well, you can just do the same one you
did that share.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
I don't remember what I did last year. I gotta
I just picked the ninety one.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
It really just yeah, if you do the cheaper one,
you pay more when you go to the doctor. And
she was the more expensive one, and you pay this doctor.
Here's the thing, I choose the most expensive one because
I have kids and they go to the doctors, and
we still pay up the ass. Right now, we I'm
paying back, just me, three thousand dollars that I'm paying back.
Our sucks. Yeah, I should have gotten the union union

(02:16):
they get. He pays nothing, my friend, Yeah nothing. It's crazy.
So yeah, we haven't sold Thursday for that. But yeah,
back on a Monday. Had a good weekend, didn't do
much comics. Come home obviously was amazing. We went to
the show. I thought it was great.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Yeah, I was the best one I think we've been to.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
I thought every comedian was good. Yeah, everyone. Yeah, and
the one that I liked not the least, but that
I was like really excited for and he did good.
But Sam Marrilh, I like he used to have a
podcast with the Julian Edelman. He was great. But do
you notice what he was doing. He was trying out
new material. Yeah, you know, because they don't get paid
for that. They do it to charity, right, So I
feel like some come with like their pre planed bits, right,

(02:54):
they do their bits, but others try out new material.
He literally was on the stags like hey, right, I'm
gonna try this.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Yeah yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
He was seeing and so that's why you know it
wasn't this fully produced bit. So he was good. But
I thought the opener was great. Alex Flynn, Bridgewater fantastic,
that funny kid, the Indian woman. God, amazing, just all
of them. Bill Burg, Bobby Kelly closed, bil Burg killed it,
killed it.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Oh my god. He had me like, so, so you know,
you guys send me to do the interviews. Yeah, no
one did an interview. They all walked out.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Okay, did they do pictures?

Speaker 2 (03:29):
They did the photo op where they all stand there
with cam Neely and his wife. Oh yeah, I saw that,
and that's it right. They started all walking out, and
I was like, what the fuck? So I go where
they're walking out. I'm like, oh, I'll go try to
get the interview there. By the time I walk over there,
they all have all already walked out of the room,
and I'm like, what the fuck did I come here for?
And they're like, you won't to talk to Lenny. I
go I fucking love Lenny, but I don't need to
talk to money. But then what I happened was because

(03:51):
I had a media credential. When Bobby Kelly was coming,
I had a pee, so I was like, you know what,
I like Bobby Kelly, but I've seen him enough. I
was like, I'm gonna probably head out.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
You want to build right right?

Speaker 2 (04:01):
So then I because I had a media pass, I
went to the bathroom backstage right. So then I was
watching do you know if you saw that? I posted
from side stage with Bobby Kelly with he was on there.
So I was side stage with Bill Burr, Ronnie Chang,
little Rell, fucking Lenny, even fucking Bobby's little kid came
up up whatever. So I'm just standing there with them
and I stay to Ronnie Chang, I'm like, can I

(04:22):
ask you something? He's like, yeah, what's up, puts his
arm around me. I was like, okay, sir, and he's like,
what's going on? And I was like, is there gonna
be a crazy Rigasian too? Because I loved that movie?
Have you seen that movie? I know it's a phenomenal,
it's a great movie. And he's like, I don't know,
Like we might be too old for that, blah blah blah,
and I was like, what, like, I think you guys,
that's perfect. Whatever. Then I hear Bill Burr talking about

(04:44):
be on Saturday Night Live this week, and I'm like
getting all this. I'm like, so I got some kind
of access, but it wasn't what you know, we wanted.
And then Bobby Kelly's fucking eleven year old kid comes
up to me and Ronnie Chang and starts cussing like.
Ronnie's like, yo, he's fucking shit, and I'm like so
then Ronnie's like, okay, buddy, like and then I was

(05:05):
Ronnie Chang was so fucking sweet. He was really great, right,
and he's like and I was like, I'm sorry, how
old are you? He was like I'm eleven.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
It's like, what the fuck well?

Speaker 2 (05:14):
And then Ronnie's like yeah, He's like he's a sweet kid, though,
really sweet kid. I was like, my mother or father
heard me talking about like that. They smacked me.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
He was obviously watched his dad show.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
She's the only day I can swear like this. Oh.
I was like, okay, okay, wow, that's crazy, but yeah
that was cool. Yeah, did you go the actors thing.
I forgot my risk, my wristband. We just left after yeah,
and then Billy left early. I didn't even talk to
you guys because where we were sitting, I was sitting
and then you guys lost that.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Yeah you were at the end. Yeah, well yeah you
were next to Riley and then and Zev and me.
But yeah, it was a good night all overall. I
already got two minutes left, so when you go back
on the air, so that I'll do it for us. So, oh,
you can check on my thing at five tonight.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
By the way, if I can't check it out, is
it gonna be on milind Lan.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
I'll post it on my Instagram. Yeah, I did. I
think with Marie Stif a few weeks back, and yeah,
it's just if if you listen to the after show,
it's a lot of the same stuff I talk about
on here, you know. So if you're an after show listener,
it's not going to be surprising. But for other people,
I think it might be a little shocking. It's a
little raw, and I do get emotional talking about it.
But thank you to Maria. Let me tell my story.

(06:17):
If you asked me to tell my story, I'm like
you know what I'm gonna, let's tell it. You know why,
Because everyone's all worked up about the election and COVID
and all this stuff, and there's people dying. I don't
even know, dude, but you know, there's an epidemic of
drug addiction and people dying, and so if I can
do one small thing to help them, then my job
is done. So five o'clock on Channel five and the
after Show will return tomorrow
