Jay Good Morning from one hundred point three w n
i C, Jay Towers, Allison and Chelsea live from Walt
Disney World for Jays Juniors Year eleven. It's our Friday
show after a really fun week. We have one more
day of fun to go and then we are flying
home tomorrow.

Speaker 8 (03:58):
I feel bad that our family are flying home to
super cold weather.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
Nine degrees right now in Detroit.

Speaker 7 (04:04):
That's insane.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
It's just not right. It's not right to be that
cool weather.

Speaker 7 (04:07):
Nature's not cool. No, No, it just really isn't it.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
Someday She's not very cool. A couple of things.

Speaker 6 (04:14):
First of all, if you go to the w i
C Facebook page or go to Jay Junior's website, you'll
see yesterday are our how's it Going breakfast where we
meet up with all the families they if they want,
if they want to come by and.

Speaker 7 (04:25):
See us fully optional.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
Yeah, it's an optional breakfast. It was yesterday at the Contemporary.
What was nine am?

Speaker 7 (04:32):
Yeah, yeah, nine to almost eleven weven. We hang around.
If you want to stop in and say, hey, let
us know what you've been doing.

Speaker 8 (04:38):
We take pictures, tell us what your favorite thing is
so far.

Speaker 6 (04:42):
It amazes me about that breakfast all the time is
the the attitudes have changed, not not that they were
ever bad, but on on on Tuesday at the airport,
it's always the anticipation and it's always what's.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
This going to be like? And am I going to
be able to get through iverwhelming? Yes?

Speaker 6 (04:58):
But by Thursday there's a level, there's a comfort level,
and there's a happiness of the happiness like I've never
seen beaming.

Speaker 7 (05:06):
I mean joy.

Speaker 8 (05:07):
Well, they're having so much fun and it's more magical
than they could have ever expected. Half the people on
this trip have never even been on a plane, that's right,
So they're having the best time of their life.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
Yeah, I was.

Speaker 6 (05:22):
I was playing with all the various toys that everybody
had and the wagons. I mean it was like a
wagon of toys.

Speaker 8 (05:27):
Ever had a sword from like Johnny Depp Jack Sparrow
or something?

Speaker 4 (05:32):
Oh yeah, so you get the sword of what do
I get? It was this and he pulls out like
a lightsaber.

Speaker 7 (05:36):
It's like this a lightsaber too.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 6 (05:40):
So that was a lot of fun, good time there,
and then last night I always do a Thank You dinner.
The thank You dinner is all about thanking our great
volunteers who come along on the trip with us. Cody, Uh,
Cody couldn't do it this year, but but and Cody

Speaker 7 (06:18):
By a bird that's right?

Speaker 6 (06:21):
Yes, Oh my gosh, what is this craziness. I've started
with this radio station ten years ago.

Speaker 7 (06:26):
This is so funny and how full circle because I
made a bird friend last night.

Speaker 6 (06:30):
And you did make a bird friend. I'm sure it's
all over your Facebook, you know it is. Yeah, a
good time, a good time had by all.

Speaker 4 (06:39):

little bit of this for you. Stand by here and
let's say, well we'll see.

Speaker 8 (06:47):
We're so happy to be here. Alice, Oh my god, seriously,
do you have a bird friend and he's gone right now?

Speaker 6 (07:18):
We finally got to the trip. Once we got to
Larry and everybody else was just enamored by Ols.

Speaker 7 (07:23):
I felt like it was important though, that we spent
a lot of time talking about me. I'm glad that
we did that.

Speaker 6 (07:28):
Hey, Crystal talked about the weather and she was right, fabulous, Crystal,
we have got.

the dog.

Speaker 7 (07:47):
She is an invisible fan that's always in front of her. Yeah,
blows her hair.

Speaker 6 (07:52):
It was originally given to Diana Ross, and then Diana
gifted it to be a Beyonce uh huh.

Speaker 4 (07:59):
And now Chris Christ Crystal has it. That's just how
it is the legend.

Speaker 7 (08:04):

I enjoyed it and.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
Get away from the hospital, enjoy their life and love
it well.

Speaker 8 (08:42):
Yet because they are with some of these families all
the time, because our families are treated by them at
the hospital, and so for them to see them in
like a fun environment is really cool.

Speaker 6 (08:56):
And then and then what's a party? What's a what's
a what's a thank you party? Without Lo dolmen your time?

Speaker 7 (10:20):
Okay, Well that's why we have boyfriends. And you I
told you when you sat down, you wouldn't even be

Speaker 6 (10:33):
This is all about the good vibes, the love and
and the thank you for this uh wonderful trip and
everybody that really works hard to meet.

Speaker 7 (10:41):
Yeah, that's not just us, you know, like, oh, let's
go out, and I mean you did. That's a really
nice thing that you do. Because you did that. All
you do, you take all these people to dinner. But
every single one of those people is legit from the
time we leave till the time we go home tomorrow.
Is working this trip and everybody has a role. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:02):
The only to make it was Tie, Yeah, who I.

Speaker 7 (11:04):
Ran into on my way home.

Speaker 6 (11:07):
I said, Oh, I overslept and sorry, Ty, you're busy
editing video what he is.

Speaker 8 (11:13):
I wish we could have seen what Ty was gonna wear.
Though he had bedazzled pants on the day that we
went out to the parks.

Speaker 7 (11:19):
His outfits always entertained me. You know, he got stopped
so many times when we were Yeah, I love them.

Speaker 6 (11:28):
By the way, did did did anybody Kyle's pants?

Speaker 4 (11:32):
Our other videographer. Kyle has been with us for a
long time now.

Speaker 6 (11:36):
His pants were fabulous too, just like.

Speaker 7 (11:41):
Oh, you know, you know, Kyle puts it together and
I always love the feathers that hang from his headband.

Speaker 4 (11:49):
Randon and Olivia, his girl was with him. So yeah,
it was a nice dinner.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
Jay's Junior's Live from Walt Disney World. Heyri, Oh, we're excited,
super Pump ready to get out of here.

Speaker 11 (12:00):
Have thought at Disney and we're looking forward to having
just a blast and getting away from everything.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
Price, Hi, when you found out you were going to Disney,
what did you say? I'm excited mom.

Speaker 8 (12:11):
From team Price, they are very very excited.

Speaker 3 (12:14):
So everyone gets like the most exciting things that they
want to get done.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
Price wants to make.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
A lightsabers, so like that's going to be extremely fun
for him.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
He's never done anything like that.

Speaker 5 (12:23):
Meet all of Jay's juniors anytime at wnic dot com.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
Nine degrees and Detroit. It might be up a little
bit now since I last I don't know.

Speaker 7 (12:35):
If someone literally just posted on my page a screenshot
of three degrees.

Speaker 6 (12:40):
Oh when will I see you again?

Speaker 7 (12:43):
And I just got.

Speaker 8 (12:46):
An alert Delta flights grounded at Metro on Friday morning.

Speaker 7 (12:51):
Why they can't do.

Speaker 8 (12:58):
The cause has not been confirmed.

Speaker 7 (13:01):
Oh great, I guess we live here now.

Speaker 8 (13:05):
I think we'll be all right. I think it's gonna
You don't know that, Jerry, very soon.

Speaker 7 (13:09):
You don't know that.

Speaker 6 (13:10):
This is a story of three friends and coworkers living
at the Disney Institute conference room.

Speaker 7 (13:16):
They could never get.

Speaker 6 (13:17):
Home, and they lived in the round. I feel like
the show's little in the weeds now. So a couple
of things here, first and foremost, if you see anything
else on that, Chelsea, let us know.

Speaker 7 (13:30):
Well, I'll keep you up to dated.

Speaker 6 (13:31):
Please keep us abreast of the situation at Detroit rolling
past Dallas forty four to thirty. Many of us after
our big, our big dinner last night went to watch
the Lions. We had to how can we not? The
Lions offense finally waking up, led by Jamir Gives dropping
three touchdowns and time Barry Sanders record knows about that.

Speaker 4 (13:53):
No, yes, are you serious your story?

Speaker 6 (13:57):
Jared goff on fire on my Saint Brown returned strong,
and the balance was exactly what Detroit.

Speaker 4 (14:04):
Has been waiting for.

Speaker 8 (14:05):
I saw TikToker make a video a couple of days
ago that said she's a big Dallas Cowboys fan, and
she said they have beaten the Eagles and the Chiefs,
which the Lions haven't this year. And she's like, so,
I'm pretty confident that the Cowboys are going to be
able to beat the Lions this week.

Speaker 7 (14:22):
And she was wrong.

Speaker 6 (14:24):
Lions to control early, so they're very much alive in
the playoff race. So congratulations to our Detroit Lions. Just
what we needed last night and at home right it
was really fun. One other thing last night quickly, just
about our Jay Junior's thank you dinner at the boat
House last night. A couple of years ago, Anthony la Verde,

(14:46):
who was one of our great friends who's been with
us a long time.

Speaker 8 (14:50):
With our new sponsor, Kinetic Connetic, Yeah.

Speaker 6 (14:53):
Kinetic, we were at like Planet Hollywood and he got
this big, gigantic fish bowl drink and you know, he
was like it was like, oh my god, is Anthony
really going to drink that at the day, you know,
the thank you party? Can he get it all down?
We're having all this food and I think he had
two or maybe one and a half, I don't know,
something like that. And you know, Rain King of like

(15:14):
the big fish bowl drink.

Speaker 7 (15:15):
Fishbowl drinks are fun.

Speaker 4 (15:17):
And then out of nowhere, this is I'm flashing it
back here in context. I out of now where, Alison
Martinick is like, oh, what's Anthony have over there? Oh?

Speaker 6 (15:23):
I had like one of those? And we're like, no,
you won't you drink I mean, you drink your coke
and you you know you're not going to You're not
going to drink all that. You're just gonna waste a
big gigantic fish bowl.

Speaker 7 (15:33):
It's like forty dollars.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (15:35):
I think that's what Anthony really got hung up on.

Speaker 4 (15:37):
Yeah, Jay Cheap's out, doesn't even these nights like easy.

Speaker 7 (15:39):
Now, that wasn't a J. Towers thank you dinner.

Speaker 4 (15:41):
It wasn't. Oh maybe it was.

Speaker 6 (15:43):
It was yeah, okay, I remember it was one year
we didn't do the boat out.

Speaker 7 (15:46):
Okay, so you got stuck with that?

Speaker 4 (15:47):
Yeah, okay, yeah, you enjoying that and yeah, then there's it.

Speaker 7 (15:50):
Well, Anthony really took a real personal Yeah.

Speaker 4 (15:52):
Even even the girl that he brought you to drink
was like, well, do you want me to wash it?
Because it's a commemorative thing. You're like, no, I'm good. Yeah.

Speaker 8 (15:58):
Also to keep the glass. She literally had maybe one
and a half SIPs of it, and then it was
taking picture to drink, she would like leave it in
the straw.

Speaker 7 (16:09):
We knew it, we knew what move was. I still
have that picture. I'll post it later, please do so.
Last night, So that was like four years ago. It
was four years ago, and you've never lived it down. No,
I can't live it depth for it? Can I just
say something? This is not a trip for me showing
what I can do, but my my drinking experience speaks

(16:31):
for itself. I used to have to get driven and
picked up from club gigs.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (16:36):
I don't like being my I don't like my record
being challenged.

Speaker 4 (16:39):
But you know, we know a new version of you.
And that was a third version of which happened on
this trip.

Speaker 7 (16:44):
Yeah, because I can bring it if you keep asking
me enough, and I will.

Speaker 6 (16:49):
And there's no better place to bring it than the
than the thank you party at.

Speaker 7 (16:52):
The dockhouse taking your children both special needs the boat host. Yes.

Speaker 6 (16:57):
So anyway, the long and short of it is that
Anthony start cracking his jokes again, saying there was a
bat Alison can't hang, she can't drink. And Alison had
a order of lemon drop.

Speaker 7 (17:06):
Right, yeah, lemon drop comes into martini glass, chugged it
one sip.

Speaker 4 (17:10):
I mean she she, she took it down like I've
never seen.

Speaker 7 (17:13):
I mean, who's Jamier Gibbs now, Oh god, here's.

Speaker 4 (17:16):
The Gibbs of the lemon drop rip.

Speaker 7 (17:19):
Yeah, but I know how that's a bold state. And
everyone kept while I was doing it, everyone kept don't
do because under normal circumstances, you don't drink a drink
like that. But I was tired of it. So I
did it and I downed it and everyone's like no,
and then I didn't.

Speaker 4 (17:33):
Stop, and then she chased it with a Now.

Speaker 7 (17:35):
Then I got an espresso martini and I start the
same thing, and then I went to do a third
one and yeah, no, you were cut off now.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
And then we cut you off. We all cut you off.

Speaker 7 (17:43):
Well, my MVP status I apparently had earned it. It
was now being threatened to be taken back. And then
I was like, what if I just finished crystals drink
because I really just wanted everyone to shut it. Well
we already did though.

Speaker 8 (17:57):
No, So I don't know why why you felt then
to keep going, especially when I was the one that
was going to be responsible for you at the end
of the night.

Speaker 7 (18:04):
You know which I was. You know, of all people, Chelsea,
you know best that have I ever proven my point?
Or do I just have to keep doing it?

Speaker 4 (18:14):
The oh? I know, we know.

Speaker 7 (18:16):
I mean some would say I proved my.

Speaker 4 (18:18):
Point, you proved the point at times a thousand and you, Yeah,
but that means.

Speaker 7 (18:21):
Nothing to me, Like now I will. I mean, I'm
in the middle of three other things right now where
I proved my point and I'm still taking it to
the wall.

Speaker 6 (18:30):
Okay, And that was dinner last night.

Speaker 7 (18:34):
Dinner so good. The chicken.

Speaker 4 (18:40):
You know what it is.

Speaker 6 (18:40):
Chicken is so boring in life. Excuse me, Chicken is
so boring in life. And this chicken was amazing, pounded.

Speaker 7 (18:49):
All that was one of my Can I say one
more thing? I know we're running out of Yes, I
did have the effects of the slamming of the just
for a while. It wore off, probably by the time
I got to the room, but you had left, which
is none.

Speaker 4 (19:02):
I'm just I was tired.

Speaker 7 (19:03):
I like, no, no, no, I know, and it's a lot,
but I'm just saying. We spent a lot of time
trying to convince me that I would be able to
get home, that somebody would go because when.

Speaker 10 (19:13):
You walk away, I was like, well great, yeah, I.

Speaker 7 (19:15):
Don't know how I'm getting home now.

Speaker 4 (19:17):
It actually makes me feel good. I like to be needed.
It's a poor at Chelsea.

Speaker 7 (19:22):
For a second, let me think that I was on

Speaker 6 (20:02):
After hitting a pop up bard and enjoying the festivities,
they headed home. Dave realizes while it was gone hours later,
a woman who found it at campus Marshes drove twenty
miles out of Farmington Hills just to drop it in
their mailbox.

Speaker 7 (20:14):
God, that's so nice.

Speaker 6 (20:15):
No note, no name, just pure kindness. Dave says his
heart sank when he noticed it was missing, but that
stranger turned the whole night into something unforgettable.

Speaker 7 (20:23):
No, that's I mean it is. It reaffirms your faith.
I've been lucky a few times like that. I've had
a wallet missing with the important things mailed to me.
In a letter, and how many times have I left
my phone and planner in a right I left my
planner once in a grocery cart with six hundred dollars
in it, and I remember that I got it all back.

(20:46):
So but for them to drive out of their way,
and that was really nice.

Speaker 6 (20:50):
Well, people know the panic. I mean, yeah, it's one
thing I think everybody can relate to, how panicked you

Speaker 4 (21:16):
Forty one years ago, nineteen eighty four, Beverly Hills Cop
was released.

Speaker 6 (21:19):
That movie is a historic right and pop culture and
everything we love twenty two years ago. In two thousand
and three, Gwyneth Paltrow married Chris Martin five months before
giving birth to their daughter by the name.

Speaker 7 (21:30):
Of Apple, and then they consciously uncouple.

Speaker 4 (21:35):
That's right, big breakup.

Speaker 6 (21:37):
In twenty sixteen, the International Olympic Committee bans Russia from
the twenty eighteen Winter Olympics for doping, raising awareness of
sports integrity.

Speaker 7 (21:46):
Can't you learn your lesson in Russia? Didn't you learn
with Avandrago?

Speaker 4 (21:50):
Ivan Drago?

Speaker 7 (21:50):
We're not going to tolerate it. Yeah, he is a mission, Ivanrago.

Speaker 8 (21:54):
If he dies, i'd allow to be terrified to tell
Russia that they're not allowed to do something.

Speaker 7 (21:59):
Well, they did, got told by the Olympics.

Speaker 6 (22:02):
Yeah, that's all that really happened back in the day
on one hundred point three Wniics. You're born Detroit. Let's
do a little Hollywood minute. It feels like we're down
at a worn down at disney World for Jay Juniors.
We don't really care about Hollywood, but we do like
to keep our finger on the pulse.

Speaker 7 (22:18):
There's just a couple of quick things.

Speaker 4 (22:19):
Chelsea has that brought to you by Tapper's Fine Jewelry.

Speaker 8 (22:22):
The Mass Singer returning on January seventh with new costumes that.

Speaker 7 (22:25):

Speaker 8 (22:27):
There's also going to be an Ozzy Osbourne tribute night
and theme nights for Twilight Star Trek and the Spice Girls.

Speaker 7 (22:33):
All Right, I just don't get it.

Speaker 8 (22:35):
Kim Coatrell from Sex in the City and her boyfriend
Russell Thomas got married yesterday in London with twelve guests
at the Chelsea Old Town Hall. They met back in
twenty sixteen at the BBC kept their relationship mostly private,
but they finally got married.

Speaker 7 (22:51):
Sir Jessica Parker served as a made upon our AABE. Yeah,
I don't think she was there, not one of the twelve.

Speaker 8 (22:57):
And finally Tara Reid speaking out after least say in
their case where she claimed that she was being drugged
that that didn't happen. They've looked through every ounce of footage.
They're not seeing any foul play.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
Member, she you're saying that she made it up. Are
they're saying she made it up?

Speaker 8 (23:16):
They're saying that they're not seeing anything. And she responded,
bottom line, no one ends up in the hospital incapacitated
for over eight hours after a drink.

Speaker 7 (23:25):
So I will say from some of my crime shows,
people can get incapacitated and murdered by being touched by
something on someone's hands or being handed Remember one night
told that story of someone that did something nice. But
I was like, was there a small box on that.

Speaker 8 (23:44):
In the years weekend, we we have five nights at Freddy's. Two.

Speaker 6 (23:48):
All right, there you go, ch else, thank you so
much with one under point three wn, I see all right?

Speaker 4 (23:53):
Weatherwise today it is cold today.

Speaker 6 (23:55):
Starting the day out with like what ten right now?
And nice lions went over the Cowboys last night Allison's bubble.

Speaker 7 (24:04):
Now, So a little fun fact about Disney. You cannot
buy gum at Disney World.

Speaker 8 (24:12):
That is so funny that you say that, because I
tried doing it at our gift shop and he said, no,
it's not anywhere on property.

Speaker 4 (24:18):
No, you know why they don't probably don't want to.

Speaker 7 (24:20):
You won't find it because they don't want it stuck
to your shoe. Wow. So I guess you can't stop
anyone from having their own gum and chewing it, but
they won't sell it on the property. You're also never
more than thirty steps from a bin a garbage nice. Yeah,
it's kind of cool.

Speaker 4 (24:37):
Yeah. I fixed their wagon. I brought like twenty packs
of tried and CineMAA.

Speaker 7 (24:40):

Jay the Traits one hundred point three w N I
see with Jays Towers, Alison Chelsea, Good morning. Weatherwise, today,
it is cold in Detroit and will continue to be
hovering around nine degrees right now, which is pretty unbelievable.
But we'll get up to up to twenty seven today
and then it looks like maybe snow on Sunday, looks

(25:53):
like maybe snow on Tuesday. Looks like a lout of snow,
maybe possible Wednesday, and I'm just looking at just the
weather app.

Speaker 7 (25:58):
Here, But I know that'll be a rough winter.

Speaker 6 (26:00):
Looks like it. We heard that already, We heard that
might be a rough winter, but I didn't. Now I'm
certain to feel like I'm seeing it. There's a big
story going on this morning too, nationally, I guess internationally.
There is a huge Hollywood bidding war right now. Netflix
has the top offer to buy Warner Brothers Movie Studio
and HBO Max and Paramont is close behind with a

(26:23):
slightly lower bid.

Speaker 7 (26:25):
Also, nothing's happened yet. This is just where we stand.

Speaker 4 (26:28):
This is the story I read eight hours ago about it.
Change out is it? Don't know? Okay.

Speaker 8 (26:32):
I am hearing that Netflix won it, okay, but I
don't know if that's.

Speaker 6 (26:38):
See, Paramont's actually trying to buy the entire company, including CNN.
Nothing officially yet, but insiders say Netflix is in the lead.
Paramont is already complaining that the process is being unfairly
titled toward Netflix.

Speaker 7 (26:52):
You know, it's my favorite thing when one thing owns everything.

Speaker 4 (26:55):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 7 (26:55):
I'm just a real big fan of that, A big
fan of that. I just I remember I had a
two your business law class ones were.

Speaker 8 (27:01):
I know it was not allowed to have a monopoly,
taught that you weren't supposed to do that, but.

Speaker 7 (27:06):
It was a long time ago.

Speaker 4 (27:07):
This says.

Speaker 6 (27:08):
Now, this story came out just an hour ago. This
says Netflix emerges as strong contender to acquire Warner Brothers.
So you have to wonder what it means. And as
we understand it, a lot of people in the industry
are not super happy about it because Netflix, as much
as we love Netflix, like the regular people of Netflix,
because of shows and it's kind of a way of
life for I think Netflix. Right, they just said a

(27:31):
lot that was the big concern with the actors strike
was AI and.

Speaker 8 (27:36):
Well there's that, and what's going to happen with the theaters?
I mean, Netflix doesn't feel the need to release something right.
You're just getting it right on your device, which.

Speaker 10 (27:45):
By the way, random sidebar, Stranger Things finale is going
to be in the.

Speaker 7 (27:51):
Theaters, which is smart.

Speaker 10 (27:53):
Why but weird Why I'm programmed to watch Stranger Things,
which I don't, But if I did, I'm programmed to
watch it from the comfort of my living room couch.

Speaker 7 (28:06):
Well that's a lie moment is your bed? When's when's
that finale supposed to be on in the theater. Let's see.
I think the finale is in two parts, and I
think it's the second of the final part that's going
to be in the theaters.

Speaker 4 (28:19):
But what days if they like around Christmas?

Speaker 2 (28:21):
Oh good?

Speaker 6 (28:22):
So I'm saying, in other words, if you get popcorn,
you'll be able to help Jay Juniors, that imagine, because
then we really love this one. And that's how we Yeah,
we love that idea. That all right, we'll see what happens.
That's an interesting story.

Speaker 4 (28:31):
Anyway, We're live for Jays Junior's great, great time down

Speaker 6 (29:37):
Weatherwise, today we have a cold day in Detroit. One
thing making us feel super warm. How about our Detroit
Lions and a nice big win last night? I'm just
blown past the Dallas Cowboys forty four to thirty and
a big night too for Jamior Gibbs dropping three touchdowns
and tying Barry Sanders record.

Speaker 7 (29:56):
That's that's really, that's the story. That's a big deal.

Speaker 6 (30:00):
The Lions are alive and well, looking to get themselves
to the playoffs. We'll keep following well Thursday night football.
There a couple other things here. Oh I thought this
was funny. This is the where is this? I just
now the most mispronounced words of this year because people
look them up because they wanted to make sure they
knew how to say them, because they were relevant, right,

(30:21):
like the newly elected mayor of New York who is
zorin Madia, right, Madia Mondani, Yeah, Zorn Mondani.

Speaker 4 (30:34):
Guy, screwing out out myself. It's doing a long night.

Speaker 6 (30:39):
Munjaro the weight loss, similar to his mpek the louverra
or the louver.

Speaker 4 (30:45):
We say louve, but they say technically there's a R
at the end of it because it's French. No, if
you're in I guess if you're in France, you're saying.

Speaker 7 (30:53):
French people get to decide because it's their thing. But
I think I think we're totally fine to say the
louver and when we say the louverra we're being silly.

Speaker 4 (31:03):
Yeah, that's fue.

Speaker 6 (31:04):
You're right, a minafin, which is odd because that's like
an old word, isn't it, And.

Speaker 8 (31:09):
That pretty much, I mean, how it's spelled is how
it sounds.

Speaker 7 (31:13):
Why wouldn't I think a cieda meniphine gets said so
much though that Okay, I guess I could see you're
struggling with that word if you don't use it a lot.

Speaker 8 (31:23):
And Alec Murdoch, Okay, so that is really funny to me.

Speaker 7 (31:27):
He's you know that he's.

Speaker 4 (31:29):
Murdered guy convicted of murdering his wife and son.

Speaker 8 (31:32):
Yes, and he spells his name Alex, so why it's
Alec is beyond me.

Speaker 7 (31:36):
And it's murda.

Speaker 8 (31:39):
It looks like it's murda, but it's pronounced murdoc.

Speaker 7 (31:42):
Right right, None of this makes any sense.

Speaker 4 (31:44):
I think we said for a whole year murder on
our show.

Speaker 8 (31:47):
Yeah he did, because that's what it looks.

Speaker 4 (31:49):
Like, or like it's murdaw.

Speaker 7 (31:50):
A murderer my new thing, though it's not really a
new thing. But if you're gonna do weird stuff with
your name, I'm going to pronounce it exactly. There was
a brief I went into this store and there was
a barista and I can't, I can't. I think her
name was like Denise. Let's just say her name was Denise,
but she put it was like d I n A

(32:15):
Y S. And I was like, hey, Dynay's and she
was like no, and I went, nope, nope, I'm going
with that. I will not call you Denise.

Speaker 4 (32:25):
You Dionase.

Speaker 7 (32:26):
You went Dionase, And that's not what's what we're going
to do.

Speaker 4 (32:30):
Right.

Speaker 6 (32:31):
One other thing, speaking of getting things a little wrong,
Allison's been funny on this trip with children in general,
because you tend to approach children thinking they're jay juniors
when they're not.

Speaker 7 (32:43):
Well, that's that's a theme now that's been going on
for a while. I would rather be somebody who acknowledges
you than someone who walks right past you. I have
vision issues, hearing issues. I don't. It's twenty eight families.
There are a lot of people. It's not just the
kids we have to know that would be easy. It's

(33:04):
their parents, it's their siblings. We have families of five
and six here, and so sometimes I just don't know.
So I've been doing it the whole time, Like, and
there's this one guy in our hotel who's getting real
creeped out by me because I think he's one of
our dads and he is not. Yeah, but I will
go up to and I've done it twice already. I'll

(33:25):
see a family and I see a stroller, and also
we match when we leave. You know, we all have
the same clothes on. When you start putting on your
other clothes, I don't really know what's going on anymore.
So I will I'll just go up to a family
that has a kid and a stroller, and I'll be like,
what was the best thing we did today? And they'll
everyone out. No, they'll entertain me, but you they walk

(33:48):
away and go, why did that strange lady care so
much about what we did today? But yeah, I think
I've done it three times again already this year.

Speaker 6 (33:57):
Well, listen, you know what everybody deserves, the Disney magic
when they're here. Yeah, here to do one quick thing here.
Delta flights are not leaving or arriving at Metro this
morning due to a network issue. The fa reported that
the airline is under a ground stop now until at
least eight am. Originally, the stop was scheduled until seven,
but it was extended.

Speaker 4 (34:17):
There's a.

Speaker 6 (34:20):
Thirty to sixty percent chance that the groundstop could be
extended again.

Speaker 8 (34:24):
I do not want to be one of those people
on my laptop. Can't you see the tech team right
now trying to figure.

Speaker 7 (34:31):
This all out.

Speaker 6 (34:32):
According to the FAA, the network issue is only impacting
the Macnamara terminal, and no other Detroit Metro airliners are impacted.
So it's a Delta issue, and it is an issue
at Detroit. It's not like a nation wide thing or
anything like that.

Speaker 4 (34:46):
Is random.

Speaker 6 (34:47):
Yeah, Travelers are urged to check their flight status before
heading to the airporp get.

Speaker 7 (34:51):
It figured out before tomorrow, because we're coming home.

Speaker 4 (34:53):
We're coming home.

Speaker 1 (34:54):

Speaker 2 (35:01):

a smile. We got everything else covered. Like you can tell,
I'm kind of freaking out. Everyone's like, calm down, dad, Bylah,
what do you want to go see? I want to
see Stitch.

welcome breakfast will be up here shortly. You should watch
that two on Facebook. It's great, it's really special yesterday,
and we'll talk about that coming up in just a
little bit with one hundred point three w NIC It's time.

Speaker 4 (36:10):
But that's incredible.

Speaker 6 (36:11):
That's incredible, incredible story from around the world to be on.
We'll start with this when a new survey says Americans
will shell out an average of four thousand, seven hundred
dollars trying to achieve a new Year's resolution that includes
a gym membership, meal plans, gadgets, classes, and anything that
helps us.

Speaker 4 (36:27):
I guess pretend that we're getting our lives together.

Speaker 8 (36:30):
Everyone's very, very committed for the first two weeks of
the new year, and then it.

Speaker 7 (36:36):
Kind of goes downhill. I am hoping that twenty twenty
six then will be the year. Oh there's so many things.
I can't speak for you guys, but it can only
go up for me. Five really was not my jam.

Speaker 4 (36:48):
I think it was your gym.

Speaker 6 (36:49):
I don't think I don't know certainly are going outlet
and style issue.

Speaker 7 (36:54):
Well, she's ending on a high. The rest of the
year was not great.

Speaker 4 (36:57):
People have done ridiculous things to catch a flame. But
this is a new one.

Speaker 6 (37:01):
A man called in a bomb threat to an airport,
not the delay of the plane, because he couldn't afford
the parking bill and just wanted the lot for free.
So he didn't get the free parking, by the way,
and did get arrested.

Speaker 7 (37:11):
You know, when we do stories like this, it's like,
I'm not a newsy. I mean I have been in
my lifetime. I have been like really like watch a
lot and pay attention, But I mean I at least
know what's going on in the world. You would think
that at this point everyone should know calling in a
bomb threat is never gonna work out for you. No
one's ever gotten away with it. No.

Speaker 6 (37:34):
A dui attorney in Georgia, someone who defends drunk drivers,
has been charged with the dui. Of course they had
he failed to you know, the field test and admitted
he'd been drinking. The new legal strategy. Isn't this ironic?

Speaker 4 (37:48):
Right?

Speaker 7 (37:50):
Hey?

Speaker 6 (37:51):
What kids under seven are most thankful for? A new
poll asked kids under seven what they're thankful for. At
the top of the list, Believe it or not, siblings,
parents take chips, Eminem's wrestling, Cheetos and Spider Man.

Speaker 7 (38:03):
Is very random for a seven year old. You gotta
love little kids and they're very small things that make
them happy, the darnedest things they say.

Speaker 6 (38:12):
Yeah, if you tried to build a great Pyramids of
Giza today, experts say it would take two thousand workers
five years in about five billion dollars.

Speaker 4 (38:21):
That's incredible.

Speaker 7 (38:23):
That is incredible. Sure is because they didn't have any
dollars back then.

Speaker 4 (38:29):
I get paid with rocks, right, do what you got
paid in polished rock.

Speaker 6 (38:33):
Finally, Columbia Sportswear just launched an edge rolling flat earthers contest.
They say they will give away their entire company, Columbia Sportswear,
to anyone who can successfully travel to the edge of
Earth and bring back proof that it is in fact flat.

Speaker 7 (38:48):
That's pretty brilliant, pretty funny. Yeah, this seems really dumb.

Speaker 6 (38:52):
Why it will never happen, It's some positives, yeah, now,
which is fun.

Speaker 7 (38:57):
Yeah, which is why I've never understood why the people
won't get on board, Because I mean you. If we
were flat, you would fall off the edge of yourn
and you don't.

Speaker 4 (39:08):
There you go. That's year. That's incredible.

Speaker 6 (39:09):
With one hundred point three w n I see, we
had a great uh, we had a great house going
breakfast yesterday with our Jays Junior's families and a really
nice thank you dinner last night. We want to tell
you about all coming up with one hundred point three
w n I see, Yes, the Lions one last night.
We love that. That groundstop for Delta flights happening at
Detroit Metro. We'll keep an eye on that. That is
a Detroit Metro situation only with Delta. It's not like

(39:33):
a nationwide thing. But they're getting it figured out. This
time for Detroit's favorite game, Battle of the Sexes, brought
to you by Hollywood Casino at Creek Town. Two contestants
on and ready to play on this Friday in Detroit.

Speaker 8 (39:44):
Ye at least is going for a number three up
against Billy.

Speaker 4 (39:47):
All Right, let's play a little Battle of the Sexes.

Speaker 8 (39:49):
Last day of the Disney edition. Allison, what is one
of the names of the Fox and the Hound? You
just need one from the movie Fox in the Hound.
Um Bill I figured you would love that movie. It's
