Speaker 1 (00:00):
Everybody's doing well. It's time for another Chase Juniors. Hello,
Hi Ashley, Hi, h J Towers. How are you?
Speaker 2 (00:08):
I'm good?
Speaker 3 (00:09):
How are you?
Speaker 1 (00:09):
It really is me. It's not Ai, It's me. It's
with Alison and Chelsea at wic.
Speaker 3 (00:14):
How you been, I'm good? How about you good?
Speaker 1 (00:17):
We are going through Jays Junior's applications and I was
reading all about Wyla and wanted to just have you
kind of just briefly give us Wila's story because I
know it's it's it's been a little tough Bush and.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
Lila was diagnosed. She was a eight year old. She
was doing wrestling at the time, and from what we thought,
it was a wrestling injury that one of the tournaments
that she was at, the kid kept on putting her
in a cradle and I don't know if you know wrestling,
but those kind of moves are really hard to get
(00:50):
out of, and she kept on getting.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
Out of it.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
Right, and then it was like after that, she just
kept on having pain and screaming. At the time of
her lung's bloody murder in the middle of the night.
So then we took her to urgent care and they
told us that it was growing pains and where Lila
was having her pain it was like in her back,
like kind of on her butt shape almost right, So
(01:15):
just didn't sit right with me. And then after we
saw urgent care, two weeks later, we went to her
primary care doctor and they told us to go see
a orthopedic specialist and he did another X ray for himself,
and then he did an ultrasound because he's like, maybe
(01:37):
it's her psiatic nerves like inflated, and they noticed that
it is inflamed, and so they're like, all right, you know,
we're gonna race for her to do physical therapy. And
it was kind of towards the end of February when
her therapist noticed that within just one week her foot
was dropping and she's like, hey, this is a major flag.
(01:59):
And then all I said, PADEX specialists put in an MRI,
like a urgent one.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
And Lilah remained in pain this whole time, like the
pain never out, all these different things we're gonna try,
Lilah's still in pain.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
But at what point did you actually find out what
it was?
Speaker 2 (02:14):
April after the MRI wow.
Speaker 4 (02:16):
And it was ewing'sircoma, Right, Yeah, Lilah has been through it.
She's had thirty three cycles of chemo, seven and a
half weeks of radiation for her spine, twelve days of
radiation for her lungs. I mean, this is a girl
who has been through it and needs some happiness.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
How many people are in your family?
Speaker 3 (02:35):
So it's me Sorry, I just started cheering up home,
my husband and her brother.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
When you go through something like this, it's not just
you know, it's not just Lilah. It's it's the whole
family going through it. And Y and I know it
has been a rough couple of years, and we just
we want to listen. We want to cut through the chase.
We want to take you to Disney World for Jay's
Juniors this year. How does that sound?
Speaker 3 (02:57):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Yes, you're so welcome.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
I didn't even tell them I applied for this.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
It isla that I applied for this.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
No, No, I'm trying to debate if I did not
tell them and surprise them or no.
Speaker 4 (03:13):
I would tell I would tell them the minute they
walk in the door.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
You're not gonna be able to hold that line.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
I would do it. I know I'm that.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
But this is jays Juniors as you know, it's our
eleventh year. It's all expenses paid on the Jays Juniors Jet.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Gonna love it.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
