Speaker 1 (00:00):
The most unhealthy menu items at America's fast food chains, Like,
are they things that you would suspect? Of the sixteen
places here, here's what we have a couple of them.
Five guys you ever get like I love five guys?
Speaker 2 (00:12):
No?
Speaker 1 (00:13):
You know one near you?
Speaker 3 (00:14):
No?
Speaker 1 (00:14):
I do.
Speaker 3 (00:16):
I did notice there's a couple things I could eat there.
I don't think they have meatless options.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
Five Guys had the unhealthiest cheeseburger, followed by what a
Burger and smash Burger.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
And then when it came to the chicken sandwich, Popeyes
had the unhealthiest chicken sandwich, followed by fat Burger which
I don't know where that is, and Zaxby's. I don't
think we have that ether. No. Of the twenty places
with the chicken sandwich, the McChicken at McDonald's was the
least unhealthy, followed by Dairy Queen and Culver. So the
(00:49):
chicken sandwich is there are your healthier choices? Who knew McDonald's,
Culver's and Dairy Queen.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
The problem that I have with Culvers, I think they
have very good food. I cannot stand that they make
you pull forward with the little number attached to your
to your door and then you have to wait about
five minutes. I mean, at least you know your food's
always fresh. But like when I pull up to the
window to pay, I want to just be able to
get my food from there.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
Yeah, but you can't. That's the whole thing with culvers
is it's it's essentially you know.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
They're making it on the spot.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
A restaurant is a restaurant that you sit down and
order food from, and they're making it a drive through.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
There's a lot of that where I live in my area.
Restaurants that add a drive through component where it's like
you can also go around the side and get it.
And I don't think they subscribe to the same drive
through rules because they can't. They're not fast food.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
A Panera too, Like Panera is not a fast food.
They're great, but you're gonna wait a little bit. That's
a longer drive through. By the way, Popeye's had the
unhealthiest chicken nuggets, followed by Arby's and Shake Shack. Also again,
five Guys has the unhealthiest French fries. Well have you
seen the bag?
Speaker 2 (01:58):
I mean it's just all green.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
Yeah. I'll always remember when I worked at Burger King,
like Evelyn, my manager. Evelyn used to get very angry
because she said, when you do fries, you should do
fries in a way where you put the little you know,
the container, you take the fry thing, you put it in,
and then you you know, you put it, you place
it in the bag. But what people used to do
(02:21):
is scoop the fries into the little container and just
drop it down into the fast food bag. So you
would get a bag half a bag of fries, including
the fries in the little container. And that used to
drive her insane, saying, five guys does exactly just that.
Five guys, you get a little thing of fries, But
then there's like ten pounds of fries in the actual
bag that you're going home with, right, so I think
(02:43):
that they may be unhealthy because they give you so many.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
Well, it's a good thing. Evelyn never made a mark
on you. You don't let her bother you.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
Oh God, I want Jane to be my manager so bad.
At Burger King, I like Evelyn was fine, but she
was very by the book, and Jane at least would
let things She was a wise guy, but she let
things slide a little bit.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
At least. Jane was okay with it when I did
not put a chicken patty on someone's sandwich and they
complained right.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
Finally, this morning, of the fourteen places with a milkshake,
McDonald's had the least unhealthy one, followed by Smash Burger
and Arby's Fat Burger Sonic and you guessed at five
five guys has the unhealthiest milkshakes.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Well, I think if you're deciding to go to any
of those places, you're not really you.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
Know, looking for the health a health.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
Report card that day, so probably not.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
No, So there you go. That said, Yeah, I had
some nuggets and they were just they hit the spot
Friday night.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
You just apply my strategy. After I eat a bunch
of garbage, I just drink bit, a chug, a bunch
of water and then that just wipes it out. Right.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
Now you never drink water.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
I do. Now you do. It's my new thing. I've
been doing it for like two months.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
You've been coffee and a coke over there.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
Water will come later. It's it's a scheduled water drink.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
Oh, Chelsea forgot this wine free, thank you. I forgot
