Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, it is Mojo in the morning, Anna from
our show Anna Rob a single for the holidays.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
But single aff.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
And she said that she still wants to do some
of the couples things that happen during the holidays, and
what are some.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Of those things?

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Yup?

Speaker 4 (00:20):
So I'm single. Everyone knows it. And the holidays are
tough for me because all of my friends who are
now married, engaged in a relationship, my sister who has
a whole family, some of them have kids. They're all
doing these fun things like going to see the Christmas
tree downtown, going to see the nutcracker, gingerbread houses, cookies,

(00:41):
And I think, for like the past five years that
I have been single, I've just been like, Okay, this
is just my seasonal life, Like I'm just not doing
these things yet. Well, now it's been five years that
I've been single, and I'm like, I don't want to
wait until I have a family or a person. So
I decided to buy myself like a single ticket to

(01:01):
go watch the Christmas carol Ate Medoprah call I know,
which my family thinks is depressing. They're like, why would
you go by yourself? Well, why not? I don't have
anyone else to go with. And I don't just want
to keep saying I'm going to wait until I have
somebody or something or a reason to do these things.
So I'm going to see that. I'm thinking about driving

(01:22):
up to Frankenmuth. I know Mojo loves it there.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Yeah, the biggest flea marketing in the world, Christmas Chicken.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
I want to do gingerbread houses. I'll do that by myself.
I'm just over putting it off and I'm just I'm
doing it alone.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Okay, you know what depressing?

Speaker 1 (01:41):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Well, first no, I think that this is it's all.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
First of all, I love that you're bringing it up
because I think there's so many people that can relate
to that. And if you can tell us if you're
somebody as single, do you do what Anna's doing or
do you get a group of single people together and
go do it in a group?

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Have you thought about that as a possibility.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
Well, most of my friends now are in relationships, so
it's like I'm the third wheel or they're very busy
like I am, so it's hard to just get us together.
But yeah, I'll throw it out. I'll be like, hey,
I'm going to do this but if everyone says no,
I'm still going to do it.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
What if we on the air solicited for Santa singles Christmas?
I mean, like, what if we got a group of
people together, single guy, single women, so.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
We do both, you know, single mingle, little single Chris Kringle.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Now we're just right, I know, Moja something we always
we alliterate this.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Hold on, let me ask chat GPT.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
What's the best No, no, no human generation. That's right,
we're only human here. What do you think about this?

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Shawna?

Speaker 5 (02:40):
Hi, Hi, Mojo, Hi guys, how we doing?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
We're good? Say hi to Anna rob Anna.

Speaker 5 (02:48):
I love you, You're the best. You're You're amazing. And

next floor and I'll go to Franklin Mood with you because.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
I never been there.

Speaker 5 (03:05):

And if you haven't mat Anna, she is the newest
member of the show, go meet her because she's a
great person.

Speaker 2 (03:20):

like a an Anna day where you guys go out.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Yeah, okay, okay, I love it.

I love some of you guys every day.

Speaker 6 (03:40):
Do it to love you to.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
So follow us and follow her on social media and
we'll get back with you on that.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
What's up, Sean?

Speaker 3 (03:49):
It is that one to tell Anna go ahead and
do it. When I was single, I would.

Speaker 7 (03:53):
Go to Motor Beat by myself.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
I've been to Vegas by myself.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Whoa ye, you did, I guess by yourself and your
family wasn't worried about you.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
And I had a ball. I even go to Belamere
Sweep by myself.

Speaker 8 (04:08):
Oh did you really remember that's the place that Nugget
used to always talk about in Toledo? Is that the
Toledo one where you parked your car in the garage
and then you go inside the hotel room with the
hot tub.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Yes, hold on, wait a second, you went hot tubs? Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
I didn't do the hot tub by myself. I had
the swimming pool by myself.

Speaker 7 (04:29):
I had the music blast, and I had my fruit.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
I had my tequila on the side of the pool,
had a bay.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
You brought your little friend with you? Is that a
hook up place?

Speaker 4 (04:40):
Like?

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Do people meet there? Like? Did you go on Craigs?

Speaker 3 (04:44):
No?

Speaker 5 (04:44):
It is?

Speaker 2 (04:45):
What was backpage? Remember? Would you go on back page?
You meet somebody there?

Speaker 8 (04:49):
No?

Speaker 3 (04:50):
I was you know what, everybody couldn't slee I was
by myself. I face tied my sisters, I FaceTime my
best friend.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
I was like, I am here by myself.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
There was a vibe, wasn't it.

Speaker 9 (05:02):
Yes?

Speaker 7 (05:03):
I had a ball, I had a look cute I was.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
I had my wig off in the pool.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Oh my god, que, what's up?

Speaker 5 (05:19):
Cute?

Speaker 2 (05:19):
It's Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Hi, Hey, I just want to tell her it's cool
to do things by yourself because you can't wait around
for nobody. And I will master date all day.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Okay, master dating. I love it. It's so great. Ari.
What's up? Ari's Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
Good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 9 (05:45):
I wanted to just say, and I you just just
do it by yourself, because once you do have kids
and a family, that that.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
Stuff is a lot more stressful, very fun to do
it now.

Speaker 8 (05:56):
That comment like you're actually going to be able to
now and remember it when you do go back later
if you have a family and Ashley.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
What's up?

Speaker 7 (06:07):
Hey guys, okay, and I have a great idea for you.
I used to do this when I was single. There's
a company called Dinner with Strangers where you can get
matched up with a group of people and you go
to like a random dinner place together. It's in downtown Detroit.
And then once you do that, there's a big group
chat on Instagram where people are always like shouting out
things that they want to do, like downtown or for Christmas.

(06:30):
And I went with the Christmas tree lighting ceremony with
a bunch of them last year. It's so fun and
you meet like hundreds of people from this what good idea?

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Oh this is amazing.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (06:40):
Yeah, it's called Dinner with Strangers who just go online.
You felt like a like a little questionnaire and I
matched you with five or six people and you have
dinner in a place in downtown Detroit and then you
make all these new friends. But it's so fun.

Speaker 4 (06:51):
Thanks for sharing.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Man, is this where you thought it was going to go?

Speaker 9 (06:54):
Or did you?

Speaker 2 (06:54):
Because I think you were thinking people were going to
think differently of you.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
Yeah, because literally everyone in my life is like that.
It's so depressing to go to a play buy yourself?

Speaker 8 (07:02):
Can I tell you though, I think it would be
more depressing if you were sitting at home scrolling Instagram
or TikTok and watching everybody else do the things that
you actually wanted to do.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Good point, Jamar, do you like to master date? What's
going on? Jamar?

Speaker 9 (07:15):
Hi?

Speaker 6 (07:18):
I think, and I should go ahead and do everything
she wants to do by herself. You have to enjoy
yourself before you can enjoy anybody else in your space.
And I just think it's a great idea, Like she's
not the only person that's going to be doing that,
and sometimes that makes one person meet another person who
feels the same way, and you never know.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
That's what I commend it. That's interesting.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
I wonder, you know, I wonder if, like Carrie's on
the phone withsus right now, she actually bought a single
ticket to go to the Lions game?

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Is that right, Kerry?

Speaker 9 (07:47):
I did back back when they first moved to Ford Field.
I had had season tickets prior and we always take
can someone else with me? And whether I had to
try to find someone or whatever.

Speaker 7 (08:04):
Because I was single.

Speaker 9 (08:06):
I got tired of it.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
But one ticket and.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
Had you wait, you can have single you can have
season tickets as a single, like one ticket back then.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
That's amazing. That's honestly the only way I'd be able
to go.

Speaker 5 (08:21):
Over where all the players lives and stuff were.

Speaker 9 (08:25):
I had the best seat and the best time the
whole season.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
That's amazing. Wow, that's that's actually kind of wild. I
did not know that they. I knew that you could
go on to you know, ticket Master Exchange or stub
hubs or any of that stuff, and you can get
good seats if you go offer you know, or asked
for one like a one off or.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
Some of that. I know you can get season tickets.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
I love the people by the way that love to
like put the drama together on the show. And they're like, hey,
maybe and I should do the family photos with Kevin
jazz Men. We you don't got to do that, but
I'll go to meadow Brooklege. That is interesting to do.
Like I always feel like Zach is the king of
being able to like get opportunities with like good looking

(09:09):
girls like Anna because he's a single guy and he
like offers up his you know, Hey, I'll go out
with you. And then I think Zach hopes when he's
maybe Zach, you can come in studio and clarify this
for me. Then he then he hopes a moment of
weakness happens and there's a little bit handle, there's a
little missile toe, you know what I mean, Zach? And

(09:35):
I thought Zach brought weed. Alex says, be careful with
the way we name this. If we do a single
event with Anna. What's that, Alex?

Speaker 7 (09:50):
Yeah he called it.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
Single, so a s oh okay, all right, Yeah, he's
very proud, Alex. I think it probably read better in
text than am I right line, Hey Joe playing games,
flinning games and.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Fanatically? Where are you from, Alex? Where do you listen
to us? I'm in a home.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
We love you, buddy for listening. Are you working or
what are you doing? What are you got going on
right now?

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Yeah? I'm just walking into work. I'm on a breath.
I get it. Be careful, buddy, Appreciate you.

Speaker 6 (10:35):
Man,

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
