Tigers rookie at Warda Valencia making his dream debut at
Colmerica Park against the Oakland A's last night. A home
run in his first MLB at bat.

Speaker 1 (01:24):

Speaker 3 (01:47):
He was so emotional about this. Eduardo Valencia downstairs with
Daniella Bruce.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Thank you, Jason and Wardo.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
What a day for you?

Speaker 1 (01:57):
You make your major league debut, first at bat.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
It's your first home run. What are you thinking as
you watch that ball fly to centerfield?

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Are just thinking like I was trying to hear a contact,
like get a good piece, just be the more gun
that I can do it. I was so excited. I
mean I was waiting a lot for this, for my family,
for Venezuela, and I'm so excited.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
I know that your parents couldn't make the trip.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
They're still in Venezuela.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
What would your message be to them tonight?

Speaker 4 (02:33):
That's what for all Venezuela people, for my family, for
all the coaching Nominiican in FCIL in Florida, for everybody
they kid me everything. This is for all my family.
My wife is right there, I don't know where right
lo you. I was waiting a lot for this moment.

(02:55):
It's so exciting.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
This is so special.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
And we saw you give a little heart symbol behind
home plate. Was that to your wife?

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Yeah? To my wife? You know how work I'm doing.
I mean, I'm so excited right now. I'm so excited.
We'll let you go celebrate with your wife and your teammates.
What an incredible night. Thank you so much for thank
you for everybody, for him, everybody, thank you.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
I'm serious, there isn't it amazing.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
But Danielle, by the way, you did a great job.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
And shout out to uh, Jason Bonnetti and Andy Dirks
who after that just kept quiet and let the moment
of him and his wife hugging and kissing each other
just be a visual. I will say this, the guy
is not a younger, younger rookie. Like it's like I
don't know his age. He looks like he's a little

(03:51):
bit older, like it's taken him a little bit of
time to get to the Triple A and then come
up to the majors, and you could.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Tell especially and I posted it.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
I think I shared it from the Detroit Tiger saying
or Justin Verlander in the dugout, the veterans were so
happy for this young guy. And Verlander had a look
on his face like this is why, honestly I want
to be with his team and being there because there's
a lot of young talent it's on that team.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
So it's pretty damn cool. Yeah, that's what a great moment.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
You mass that story.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Your first time up at bat, you hit to the
deepest part of the ballparks great.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey's Madison Square Garden wedding may
go down in as one of the most expensive celebrities
Can I talk today celebrity weddings ever?

Speaker 1 (04:38):
There we go.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
Wedding experts tell me they're estimating that this thing was
right around the thirty million dollar mark, with about five
mil spent on flowers alone. Holy crap, the venue itself,
I mean, renting Madison Square Garden is not cheap, so

(04:59):
they're saying that was probably another five to ten mil
right there. I mean shutting down the streets, the staff,
the food. The average American wedding, just so you can compare,
comes in at about thirty four thousand dollars right now.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
She's not getting any backlash on that too.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
A lot of times the celebrities will get backlash on that.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
I mean, but why they have the money, they want
to spend the money, Okay.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
I know there's a lot of people though that. You know,
we get a lot of homeless and a lot of
people know.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
She did make a bunch of donations to a lot
of different organizations. Her and Travis.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
That was their thing.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
And lastly, tickets to see Madison Beer are going for
bargain prices right now. Was she town last night?

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Was it last night?

Speaker 3 (05:38):
She was at the fox Lydia yep?

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (05:41):
And I know that her boyfriend, Los Angeles Churcher's quarterback,
Justin Herbert, was there with her. Town Really yeah, he
was in town last time. Everybody was spotting him. But anyway,
so she is two months into her Locket tour. She's
sold out venues in Austin, Vegas, San Francisco, LA. She's
expecting to max out Adison Square Garden. Speaking of this, weekend.

(06:02):
But is it because ticket prices are so crazy cheap?
Oh that's nice. Some fans were posting screenshots of tickets
they got for just seven dollars and fourteen cents. The
California Post also saw ticket selling for as low as
sixteen bucks for some of her remaining tour stops, which,
if you're a fan, that's incredible. So now people are like, well,

(06:26):
she only sold it out because the ticket prices are
so affordable. I think there are three shows to go Toronto, Boston,
and then the finale in New York City.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Yeah, we have Madison at one of last night, she
put it on her story.
