Michigan's new twenty four percent tax on cannabis purchases is
going to stand.

Cannabis Industry Association filed a law against this twenty four
percent tax, which was part of the state's new budget
that was passed last month. It's going to raise about

proving that the new tax violated the Michigan Constitution.

been ready to answer any call, and I have.

different uniform. A couple hours before the parade, I found

The annual parade of Lights is a big deal in
the town of Spencer. The fire department goes all out.

One of the gentlemen on a fire department he has
a scent outfit I borrowed so I was able to
dress up.

But just minutes after they got to the staging area
for the parade Saturday, another call came in.

I was just walking around the packing lot talking to people.
People come taking pitches and I saw members of the
department running towards the trucks and someone yelled out, we've
got a structure fire.

A parade goer noticed an autobody shop was glowing in flames.
Santa and his crew took their slaves to fight the blades.

Heavy smoke coming from the building. The doors were all
blackened down. We couldn't see inside you. Conditions were deteriorating.

Churchie was on scene in his Santa suit, switching to
re closed to help direct his ladder. Firefighters were able
to stop and contain the fire to just one part
of this building, and then it was time to make
sure that parade still had their Santa. After stopping this
around its tracks, the Department, including Saint Nick, all hopped
back on the parade.

I drove it down here. One thing about these evs,
they have a lot of power.

I do drive it. Tell your ride. But I'm thinking
about buying this car actually and having it and having
it because you know what's funny is that knowing you
for all these years and knowing your family and everything
like that, and you guys get to kind of like
figure out what you want to do.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
You are never though one that will just go I
want the most expensive one here. You actually will go
for one that is, hey, give me, give me the car.
This is most going to be uh fun to drive,
but also dependable and one that's not going to be
one that's wanted by a bunch of people, because you
want those things to sell. Probably right.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
I've had my car for about two years. My husband
trained me. Well, he never let me drive the cars
on the lots, because if you knew what I do to,
you guess, in fact might When I was picking this
car up yesterday, employee said, Tanya, you really should buy
this car. I said, yeah, no, I think I'll.

Just I can't wait to see it here. I can't
wait to go see it. Well, let's go.

Let's I know we were supposed to, we were supposed
to go for a ride in it, but that never happened.

With three hundred miles three hundred miles on the charge. Okay,
that's same as a tank of gas. That's lutely yeah,
and that's perfect honestly, I I I'm not gonna lie.

It's funny I got I have obviously my Gordon Chevrolet people,
so shout out to those guys. And I love you
guys too. But I get a a Tahoe every single year.
And I was thinking to going to EV too because
of the drive of coming back down here and Mike.
Mike got this close to getting me uh into an
EV Equinox, but I'm close. It's close. And then and

then the one that I got came in. But I
will say this to you, I ain't got a problem
with it, you know what I mean, especially when you're
doing a lot of commute, so like you know they are.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
They are definitely the wave of the future.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
