Speaker 1 (00:00):
Guys, we have a special guest that's coming in the
studio right now, Ladies and gentlemen, tonight at our jingle ball,
somebody is going to drive away in a seventy thousand
dollars SUV. You could be driving away in a Kia
EV nine from Lane is in with us this morning.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
You have a ride. It almost took me out.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
But oh it's a bad snowing right now. Is it
crazy not snowing?

Speaker 2 (00:30):
It was just an accident.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Oh yeah, that's what I got to do every day
every day.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Somebody who never drives herself anyone, I know. It's I
got the car here and I'm here on there we go.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Were you driving the EV nine down to the studio.
Do you get worried when you're driving what could be
somebody else's vehicle tonight? Right?

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Yes? I got the extra care for about a half
a second.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
I always wondered about that, like when you get you
give the car to you know what, like your car porters.
I know you got eight people that work for you
at some place, and you're like, yeah, clean this up.
Somebody just bought it. Has anybody ever crashed on their
way to go clean it up? Oh? That's not good,
is it?

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Customers crash cars when they're on test drives to really,
Oh my god, Tanya, ye break it and buy it
or how does that work? Some of them do, some
of them don't.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Yeah, Tanya, whatever we do tonight, it cannot be like
last year because I think I just got your nail
marks out of my arm.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
What happened? I wasn't there, almost fell out from under
my way in the building. So I'm just she was
nervous times like the first time. I don't understand it. Something.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
No, you were nervous.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Got it, You've done it before, you got it.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
You got it this year and Lauren, who is the
best account executive in the world but a bad influence
on you, was feeding you drinks to make you feel calm,
and between her and Kim Blockhamp they got you a
little ne bread.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
So this week, know, anybody could tell this year. This
year we're having mocktails hang out this damn yeah, no nails. Actually,
it's gonna be fun. You got your outfit all picked
out for everything.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
I had one picked out and the Lauren and said it.
She saw it. She said, oh no, you can't wear that.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Wait, what do you mean, what was wrong with it?

Speaker 2 (02:15):
It was just like a missus Claus Truss, you gotta
wear that like it was a no, that's cute. And
then I picked it up and there was another little
red dress behind it. She said, oh yeah, you have
to wear that. But I hate a whole thing of
hoolopeno chueddar. So let's hope we can get it out.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
No, here's the here's the story. Not only do we
have account executives that give you the best schedules with
the best times. You know, your your money goes a
long way at iHeart, they also fashion coordinate for you.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
For absolutely.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
They are are good, buddy, but they're bad at influencing
you on not to drink. Don't drink. Tonight we're gonna
have fun, I promise all right tonight somebody is gonna
win akia EV nine. Do you want actually hear somebody
that gets a chance to win it? When I absolutely
is it cool? So why don't we? And then I
want to hear about this car that that we're giving
away the key EV nine. So here let me do
you this ninety fifth collar win jingle Ball tickets. So

(03:13):

everybody that either comes to jingle Ball through winning tickets
or buying tickets has a chance to win this seventy
thousand dollars. Suv and I do want to throw this
out there. No purchases necessary. See rules for details on
how you can get entry to try to be in
this contest.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Chord in the mornings, Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
Shannon's going to do the Dirty on the thirty. Right now, Shannon,
what you got.

Speaker 5 (03:38):
Well, you're a minute early. I haven't even sent you
to the audio yet. I'm not going to do that
as I'm talking. But yesterday Judge Sima Patel ruled that
Michigan's new twenty four percent tax on cannabis purchases is
going to stand.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
It will remain in place.

Speaker 5 (03:54):
That decision coming just a few weeks after the Michigan
Cannabis Industry Association filed a law against this twenty four
percent tax, which was part of the state's new budget
that was passed last month. It's going to raise about
four hundred and twenty million dollars for new road construction,
but the cannabis industry's attorneys failed to provide an argument

(04:15):
proving that the new tax violated the Michigan Constitution.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
So here's what it's happening. I know there's a lot
of people that will travel to Michigan from Illinois to
purchase cannabis because they say that their taxes are so high.
Are the prices of cannabis still going to be competitive
to other states or is it going to make it
one of these things where I don't know it's going

(04:41):
to make it, you know. I mean people are still
going to buy, right, I mean, they're still going to
want to streets. But I wonder, I wonder if the
price becomes so much that it's going to end up costing,
you know, so much that you're not going to want
to be using as much as you've used. Where's Rambo?
I don't know. Yeah, it's get rambo perspective on this one.

(05:01):
We haven't done like a.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Have heard from him in a long time.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Rambo is our mojo in the morning, misfit, but is
always smells like weed. He has the weed Report. Yeah,
by the way, I dropped off the Joe show at
the casino. They're staying at the Casino hotel. There is
nothing but weed around that there.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Actually, next told me she hit up at Dispo yesterday.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Oh my god, you can even in the cold. You
know how the steam used to come just from the sewers,
the sewer systems and stuff. It doesn't come from that.
It comes from Rambo walking down the street.

Speaker 5 (05:36):
Justin Timberlake is apparently pulling back from work and focusing
on his health after revealing that he has a lyme disease.
That's what I'm telling me that he actually his condition
took a pretty serious toll.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
During his recent world tour, leaving.

Speaker 5 (05:49):
Him just exhausted. He's in a lot of pain constantly
throughout the day. So now he is prioritizing rest, treatment
and time with his wife Jessica Biel and their boys
as you work on getting better.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
So not that he's.

Speaker 5 (06:02):
Really what has he done lately, but he is going
to be quiet for the next couple of months as
he kind of focuses on getting better. Sidney Sweeney says,
enough with the plastic surgery rumors.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
She's actually had nothing done to her face.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
I'm two scared of middles you guys.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
You cannot compare a.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
Photo of me from when I was twelve to a photo.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Of me at twenty six with professional makeup and lighting.
Of course I'm going to look different.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
We don't watch Sidney Sweeney for her face. No comment,
I mean dooey. I think she's beautiful though. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (06:43):
Lastly, this story has gone viral. Small towns got their
Christmas preade happening. Who is always at the end of
the parade Santa Claus? But when the guy who was
playing Santa Claus for the parade purposes is a firefighter
and an actual fire happens.

Speaker 6 (07:00):
For thirty five years, Spencer Fire Captain Robert Churchie has
been ready to answer any call, and I have.

Speaker 7 (07:06):
Brush gear also with my best book for traffic, so
ahead of this weekend he got one that required a
different uniform. A couple hours before the parade, I found
out it was gonna be Santa.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Come Christmas time.

Speaker 6 (07:16):
The annual parade of Lights is a big deal in
the town of Spencer. The fire department goes all out.

Speaker 7 (07:21):
One of the gentlemen on a fire department he has
a scent outfit I borrowed so I was able to
dress up.

Speaker 6 (07:26):
But just minutes after they got to the staging area
for the parade Saturday, another call came in.

Speaker 7 (07:32):
I was just walking around the packing lot talking to people.
People come taking pitches and I saw members of the
department running towards the trucks and someone yelled out, we've
got a structure fire.

Speaker 6 (07:42):
A parade goer noticed an autobody shop was glowing in flames.
Santa and his crew took their slaves to fight the blades.

Speaker 7 (07:49):
Heavy smoke coming from the building. The doors were all
blackened down. We couldn't see inside you. Conditions were deteriorating.

Speaker 6 (07:57):
Churchie was on scene in his Santa suit, switching to
re closed to help direct his ladder. Firefighters were able
to stop and contain the fire to just one part
of this building, and then it was time to make
sure that parade still had their Santa. After stopping this
around its tracks, the Department, including Saint Nick, all hopped
back on the parade.

Speaker 7 (08:19):
We got to finish the parade with Santa, because without Santah,
it's not much of a parade.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
That's amazing, a great story.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
That is a great story. I love the accidents too.
Is that Boston or that it is? It is just
outside of Yeah.

about buying this car actually and having it and having
it because you know what's funny is that knowing you

like that, and you guys get to kind of like
figure out what you want to do.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
You are never though one that will just go I
want the most expensive one here. You actually will go
for one that is, hey, give me, give me the car.
This is most going to be uh fun to drive,
but also dependable and one that's not going to be
one that's wanted by a bunch of people, because you
want those things to sell. Probably right.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
I've had my car for about two years. My husband
trained me. Well, he never let me drive the cars
on the lots, because if you knew what I do to,
you guess, in fact might When I was picking this
car up yesterday, employee said, Tanya, you really should buy
this car. I said, yeah, no, I think I'll.

Speaker 1 (11:25):

wait to go see it. Well, let's go.

perfectly fine.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
With three hundred miles three hundred miles on the charge. Okay,
that's same as a tank of gas. That's lutely yeah,
and that's perfect honestly, I I I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 2 (12:09):

Speaker 1 (12:10):
It's funny I got I have obviously my Gordon Chevrolet people,
so shout out to those guys. And I love you
guys too. But I get a a Tahoe every single year.
And I was thinking to going to EV too because
of the drive of coming back down here and Mike.
Mike got this close to getting me uh into an
EV Equinox, but I'm close. It's close. And then and

(12:31):
