Speaker 1 (00:00):
Right now, Mojo's secret sound is worth $ 5, 000.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
What is the secret sound? If you know it, you
can win.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
844-MOJO-LIVE.

Speaker 4 (00:09):
844-665-6548.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
This is the sound. 844-MOJO-LIVE. Good luck.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
I don't really want yours.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
I like mine better. Zach, defender of chains.

Speaker 5 (00:31):
You can have your chair back home, boy.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
It was during that chain smokers turned up. Everything got
rearranged in there.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
I know.

Speaker 4 (00:37):
I got so confused.

Speaker 5 (00:38):
I didn't even know how to keep score anymore.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
All right. Here we go. Mojo in the mornings.

Speaker 6 (00:43):
Dirty on the 30s.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Shannon with what's trending in the Dirty on the 30s.

Speaker 4 (00:46):
So today is a big day.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
25 years.

Speaker 7 (00:49):
It has been 25 years since our country changed forever,
the 25th anniversary of 9-11.

Speaker 6 (00:57):
This morning, America marks 25 years since the attacks of
September 11. It remembers the nearly 3,000 people who never
came home.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
9-11 is with me every day.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
You can never really get away from that day.

Speaker 6 (01:10):
For the last 24 years, six moments of silence have
been held on this day to commemorate moments from the
attacks in New.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
York and Virginia. and the crash in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

Speaker 6 (01:22):
Today, a seventh moment of silence will be held to
honor the lives lost in later years from 9-11 related illnesses.
More than 9,000 people, including 453 New York City firefighters,
A toll that now exceeds the number killed on the
day itself. Some dying from cancers related to toxic air

(01:42):
at Ground Zero. Firefighter Regina Wilson was supposed to be
on duty that day, but her mentor asked to switch shifts.
She responded to the World Trade Center moments after the
first tower fell.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
I didn't know if another building was gonna fall on us.

Speaker 8 (01:58):
And the only thing that would keep me from thinking
about dying is living.

Speaker 6 (02:03):
Four former presidents will stand on the plaza this morning.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Biden, Obama, Bush, and Clinton.

Speaker 6 (02:09):
Together and silent, the memorial hasn't allowed political speeches in
14 years. Only the families speak, reading 2,983 names. President
Trump will mark this day at the Pentagon, where.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
184 people died that day.

Speaker 6 (02:26):
And in Shanksville, where Flight 93 crashed.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
I'm just overwhelmed.

Speaker 9 (02:31):
I cried all the way in.

Speaker 6 (02:33):
Visitors and victims' families already arriving. Debbie Borza's daughter, Diora,
was on that plane.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
For the mothers out there who, you know, remember the
day their child was born as if it were yesterday,
as we sometimes say, it's as if it were yesterday.
It was September 11, 2001 for me.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
A generation has now grown up since that day.

Speaker 6 (02:58):
Dan Feigelson was principal of a Manhattan elementary school on 9-11.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
One of his fifth graders lost his mother in the towers.

Speaker 9 (03:06):
Initially, when there's a tragedy or a great loss, everyone
shows up. Everyone's around. The relatives come. There's a lot
of recognition. You're never alone.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
But then, eventually, people go.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Back to their lives.

Speaker 6 (03:25):
In 25 years, there has been rebuilding, renewal, resilience, and
a passion among all those affected to never forget.

Speaker 8 (03:32):
We can come from just flames and destruction and to
be able to build something that's bigger, better, and greater
to show that we could rise from the dust.

Speaker 7 (03:45):
One of my favorites, Blaine Alexander from NBC doing that story,
by the way.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
That makes me.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
It makes me remember what happened watching all that video
that you just saw, but also makes me realize how
fast time goes by. It's been 25 years because it
does feel like it was just, you know, yesterday that
that happened.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
And to know that there are many that weren't even
born when that happened.

Speaker 7 (04:07):
And the craziness of which I never knew really of
how many people have lost their lives because of 9-11
related illnesses and cancers is wow. In other dirty today,
Snoop Dogg has been tapped to host the 2026 MTV
VMAs live from Los Angeles on September 27th alongside co-host

(04:30):
Van Toffler. He said the VMAs have been a major
part of his career. Some of his biggest moments have
happened on that stage. Now, we don't know the nominees
or performers just yet, if I'm not mistaken. I do
know that Nirvana is going to be receiving that coveted
Video Vanguard Award this year.

Speaker 5 (04:49):
And Apple's latest and greatest iPhone, the iPhone Duo, isn't
even on shelves yet, but people already have plenty to
say about the size, especially if you have little hands.
Tech analysts say the foldable iPhone Duo may not be
what people want or what people with smaller hands want,
because I guess when you open it up, the display

(05:11):
measures 7.6 inches. So that's great for like watching movies,
playing games, consuming media, but it's not great for people who,
if you just use your phone with one hand, it's
going to be way too big for you to do that.
Like it's not going to be very conducive to you
just using, like you're going to have to hold it

(05:32):
in one hand and use your other hand.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Like a mini iPad. Yeah, that's basically.

Speaker 7 (05:36):
So think about that before you throw your name in
the hat for one next month.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
The Macs? is a tough one to hold.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
I wouldn't be able to.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
I have little baby hands. Little baby hands? I would
never be able to.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
It's hard.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
I like the Max. You have a Max? Let me see.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
Better camera.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
I love the Max.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
That's big. That's heavy. Dang.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
All right.

Speaker 2 (05:59):

Hey, it's time now for Mojo's Secret Sound Podcast. Kim
is on with us, and Kim's getting a chance to
pay some bills. I understand that's what you want to do, right?

Speaker 5 (06:18):
Yes, it is.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Hi, Kim. Are you ready? Yes, I'm ready.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Let's do this, Kim. We got some bills to pay.
What's your most expensive bill, or what's your biggest bill?

Speaker 5 (06:33):
My car note.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
Yeah, let's pay that thing. What kind of car are
we driving?

Speaker 4 (06:38):
I got a Mitsubishi 2020.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
All right.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
We got to get you into that Mitsubishi with Mitsu
in the morning. Yes. Here we go.

Speaker 8 (06:46):
Yes, yes.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
What is Mojo's secret sound for $ 5, 000? I think it's.

Speaker 5 (06:54):
When you do the time signal in your car.

Speaker 7 (06:56):
You click the time signal.

Speaker 9 (06:59):
Wait.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
That is a great one.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
That's such a good guess.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Yes, yes.

Speaker 4 (07:05):
Is it right, Mojo?

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Please. It is not.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
What a guy.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
It's not the sound of the turn signal. It's the
sound of the thing clicking.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
No, it is a great guess.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Oh, it's the click?

Speaker 4 (07:16):
Yes, you see what I mean?

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Yeah, the click. Not the signal.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
The click.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
And it's something you do without thinking.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
Yeah, right. And that's what we know. Is it something
that you just.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Unfortunately, it's not. I thought it was a bad guess,
but that's okay. That's okay. We got another one coming up.
And now I'm getting tough on you.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
Another guest coming up here and more chances to win.
So make sure that you're listening from DFCU Financial, the
Cashback Credit Union. We're back to remember the 25th anniversary
of 9-11 and more of the Mojo in the Morning
