(00:22):

my kids.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
To wear like a brick color so that way I
can kind of pick them out of the cur Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Shannon did a commercial earlier this morning for Henry Ford
Health and they were talking about your kids should wear
specific types of bathing suits so that you could pick
up specific colors so that you can pick them out
in a pool.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
That's exactly what you have to.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Do at events like like my kas and like you
go to you know, like make your kids.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Wear something bright, were a bracelet so I can see.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Make your kid wear a reflector vest. You know exactly
which one is. Probably would Luke. Poor Luke used to
be the tiniest kid in school and they would always
put him in the back of the group. And it
used to drive me crazy because it was always the big, tall,
fat kid that was hiding or making Luke not.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Even be appearing and at anything. Yeah, thank you for
take care of yourself.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Jamie about making this number one with the blond, No,
she said blind.

the morning show. What do you got Shore?

Speaker 4 (02:08):
Should I do this this Birmingham party story again or
should I go back and listen to it?

Speaker 1 (02:12):
No?

Speaker 5 (02:12):
Go back?

Speaker 2 (02:13):
And listen to it. No, can I tell you something.
I got a better version of the story.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
Oh okay, this party that took place in Birmingham. I
want to say, this was Saturday.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Do you hear about this Mike at all? At the
the Birmingham party?

Speaker 4 (02:25):
This h This homeowner basically rented out his pool on
that swim plea app.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
It was supposed to be like this wasn't an airbnban situation.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
Not from how I understand the story. It was this app.
It was supposed to just be like a pool party
of forty people, and then it like got out of control.
People were torking on top of cars. There was a
couple hundred people.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
It was amazing. Locked. I want you to listen.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
This is a story from Channel seven w x y Z,
the ABC affiliate in Detroit. Listen to the neighbor that
gave them the interview. He is like a walking sound
bite for them.

Speaker 6 (02:58):
Host at eleven a backyard low up in Birmingham tonight,
Outraged neighbors say a pool party spiraled into chaos, leading
me to stawards overrun by a crowd of more than
one hundred and fifty people.

Speaker 5 (03:11):
Good evening. I'm like Duffy. Thank you for joining us now.

Speaker 6 (03:14):
The intense fallout from this party is reigniting a fierce
debate over short.

Speaker 5 (03:17):
Term rentals in the city.

Speaker 6 (03:19):
We blurred this cell phone video to protect identities, but
you can clearly see those that chaos.

Speaker 5 (03:26):
Police were called.

Speaker 6 (03:27):
Multiple times to a home on Westchester Way near Maple
and Cranbrook on Saturday.

Speaker 5 (03:33):
This latest backlashks for.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
You, Zach. Just cut all this reporter stuff off.

Speaker 5 (03:37):
Then b party ended in gunfire on East Lincoln.

Speaker 6 (03:40):
Seven News Detroit reporter Megan Lee is raising the voices
of residents who packed into a city council nation.

Speaker 5 (03:46):
This guy, as the homeowner at the center of this,
tries to clear his name.

Speaker 7 (03:52):
It's crazy.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
This video, taken by a neighbor, gives us a glimpse
into a wild Saturday afternoon on West Your Way in Birmingham.

Speaker 7 (04:01):
There was females twerking on top of vehicles, wearing thongs.
It was just completely inappropriate.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Brian Homer lives across the street from where the party
was being hosted and watched the nearly six hour long
party unfold.

Speaker 7 (04:15):
Hundreds and hundreds of people just horden the streets.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
These videos show women dancing on cars in.

Speaker 7 (04:21):
Front of this house, in front of my extra neighbor's
house to the left.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
So they were tworking all over yeah fast. According to
the homeowner, he rented his pool to a friend who
was hosting a party. He sent me this statement saying,
in part, to be clear, the footage of a woman
dancing on a vehicle is not a representation of my
values or events hosted at my home. Neighbors tell me
that they could not find a place to park on

(04:47):
their street on Saturday, and they said the street turn
into a raceway with cars even parked on their front lawns.
Is it you're understanding that a lot of neighbors called
the police.

Speaker 7 (04:56):
Oh, the police were here fifteen twenty times. I was
one of them.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
To the Birmingham Police Department, the homeowner was sighted with
three misdemeanors and the party host was cited twice. Birmingham
Mayor Clinton Baller calling this event illegal in the City
Commission meeting Monday night.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
It was illegal and we failed to shut it down.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
According to the Birmingham Police Department, an officer was in
contact with the security at the party and told them
to send people home. Around eight thirty Saturday night, and
that was the neighbor's biggest complaint.

Speaker 5 (05:28):
The problem was it didn't get shut down.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
One neighbor even getting choked up when thinking about what
could have happened.

Speaker 5 (05:36):
It's getting dangerous for the homeowners, the neighbors.

Speaker 7 (05:38):
The kids. As a taxpayer, so upset, so frustrated, upset, and.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
The mayor says, you will work to make sure this
doesn't happen again.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
That's a little carried away Birmingham lady there crying, Oh
my god, I got what it's like to be young.
I find it to be fascinating that we have not
used that app at all. That pool app as a show.
We gotta do it like we got to try it
sometimes and then just go and see if the neighbors

(06:10):
are listeners of the show we randomly just hang out.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Wouldn't that be fun? No? Why not? You don't want
to go on a stranger to Birmingham.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
No more.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
They don't like, they don't like. Doubt.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Listen, if I when I watched that video, if that
happened in West Bloomfield, I would actually hope a neighbor
would sell their house because if you look at the
amount of cars that were on that street. It was
bigger than anybody's grad parties that I've ever seen. I mean,
it turned into a like chaos, mass chaos.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
He said, forty people.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
I think they said they were They used the phrase
or the word hundreds.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
Oh, there were hundreds, definitely, And they all looked like
they were underage kids partying at somebody's house.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
It was like, gone, do you leave the house when
you were out of your pool? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (06:55):
I think that's I think he did. I think he'd
matter of fact, I don't even know if he lives there.

Speaker 4 (06:59):
Maybe I can't die it to a friend though, But
then I kept hearing that it was this app I
don't know whatever the story was, but h okay, jelly
Roll filed for divorce from his wife, Bunny Exo filed specifically,
May eighteenth is the date of this filing.

Speaker 5 (07:13):
I'm seeing.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
I don't know what happened. They were married for almost
ten years. They did talk about very publicly and very freely,
that they have had a rocky relationship over the years.
I know she's been open on her podcast about the
ups and downs. She's revealed at several points that they
have split multiple times in the past. But I don't
know that it's ever gotten to the point where somebody

(07:35):
has actually filed, as in this case he did. The
goalkeeper for Brazil's World Cup team. He has a name,
like a first and the last name. But he goes
by and I'm going to get this wrong.

Speaker 5 (07:45):
It goes in.

Speaker 4 (07:47):
Huh.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
I don't know, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (07:48):
Okay, it doesn't even really matter. He's forty years old,
kind of towards the end of his career. He's been
playing for nineteen years, played more than two hundred games,
has won a single trophy in his career, and has
proudly representative represented excuse me, his native kate Verde since
twenty twelve. Okay, this World Cup arguably the highlight of

(08:11):
his career, and yesterday facing Spain in their tournament opener
was the biggest day of his career for sure. Twenty
seven shots faced, seven saves, and ninety minutes later, this
guy's life changed forever. He had a stellar game. He
was named man of the match, sobbed when he heard

(08:31):
the final whistle. He also after the game, went from
fifty six thousand followers on Instagram to more than five
million followers on Instagram and has become one of the
early hero stories of this World Cup.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
So happy he now has more followers on Instagram than
the town that he's from has populations that crazy.

Speaker 7 (08:54):
He's Kate Verde women boy, I want them to win too.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
How many followers do you think the kid who threw
the swimming party and burmam might have more citations?

Speaker 4 (09:04):
And lastly, KFC is making some changes, launching what it
calls its next chapter globally new menu items, redesigned restaurants
and I got a glimpse, very very cool, some of them,
two stories and refreshed branding. Now fun fact, a new
KFC opened somewhere in the world roughly every three and
a half hours. Wow, right now, I don't realize it

(09:25):
was that partular, But KFC said it plans to expand
its lineup of boneless chicken offerings, including tenders designed for
dipping and snacking, while also introducing more than twenty new
sauces like Jimmy Cherry Ranch and Hot Honey Hobanaro. Beyond food,
they're also expanding their beverage platform, known as Quench by
KFC Quench with a K, which includes boba refreshers, milkshakes,

(09:49):
sparkling lemonades and iced coffees. So some new things come
into KFC. Can I just say I checked out the
soccer players Instagram Now he has seven point five million.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
Oh my god.

Speaker 7 (10:00):
That's that's great. What a great story.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
