cashback credit union. Shannon with the last dirty of the morning.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Hi.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
So Harry Styles this morning under fire for something that
appears on the ticket for his Together Together tour. This
is specifically from the ticket from last night's show, but.
It shows, and I'm going to show you guys here
in a second, it shows a yellow car, looks like
it's supposed to be Harry in this cartoon vehicle.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
Flying through the sky over the.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Empire State Building and leaving a trail across the iconic
New York City skyline.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
So here it is right here, just so you guys
can kind of see it.

Speaker 5 (01:03):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
You know where I'm going with this, Kev.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
So with tomorrow being the 25th anniversary of September 11th,
a lot of fans were like, Oh, this like gives
me not a great feeling. One fan put a photo
of the ticket, the back of the ticket on social
media and wrote, putting that on the back the week
of 9-11 is effing insane. It's cute, but it was

(01:28):
not a good idea. Another one said, bro, that is wild.
Who approved this?

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Bunch of blokes.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
Yes, we see that trending. If you see Harry Styles trending,
that's why.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Apple's new CEO debuted the company's first foldable iPhone, the
iPhone Duo, yesterday.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
Pre-orders start on the.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
16th of October.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
A similar size to your passport.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
It feels familiar to hold and comfortable to use with
one hand.

Speaker 6 (01:57):
Its distinctive asymmetric shape with two rounded corners invites you
to open it.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Two grand before you do AppleCare and all the rest
of the other stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
It's going to be like close to a computer price. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (02:11):
$ 3, 000.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
This computer that I'm working on was $ 600.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Wow. You got one of those Neo. And does it
do anything different? No.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
I mean, I don't use it for all these. It
doesn't have a touchscreen. Yeah, it doesn't have a touchscreen.
That's about it.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
It's perfectly.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
You're looking for a cheap computer.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
It's time for wearables, bruh. I want my Tony Stark life.
telling you uh.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Speaking of technology a 27 year old ai researcher just
up and quit his job over at anthropic and he's
issuing a pretty severe warning to everybody about the dangers
of artificial intelligence first.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Of all i assume you are saying literally that you
believe that ai could kill us all by the end
of the decade uh it.

Speaker 5 (02:58):
It sounds like something that's not real, but I think
it is frighteningly real. And it's easiest to understand it
if you think about real things that happened two months ago.
So two months ago, OpenAI agents, AIs, hacked into third-party
infrastructure entirely at their own accord. And this was like
a concentrated hacking spree that they carried out of their
own volition. And I think that if you extrapolate into

(03:20):
the future the level of capabilities of these AIs with
the same independent volition, they could cause extreme havoc. For example,
Hacking critical infrastructure, building extinction-level bioweapons. There's a lot of
ways that the AI could actuate itself in the world.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
I've actually never thought about those things.

Speaker 5 (03:40):
What?

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Like, hacking critical infrastructure when people say, oh, AI can
be so damaging. I think about it like Mojo and
we talked about earlier, like, you know, it's taking over
people's jobs.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
You don't think about it doing those sorts of things.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
But we do have that risk of hacking infrastructure, and
it's already happened to us.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
With terrorism.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
With terrorism and, you know, some of these crazy countries
and stuff.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Yeah. But I do, I think that AI scares me.
I'm telling you, it scares me from taking all the
jobs and stuff. And I know that it is, the
people that are so vocal against AI are Are you
doing it in a way of being vocal because of
the water and the earth and all the rest of
that stuff? And I think the idea of them, you know,

(04:24):
the idea that it could take over manufacturing completely and knock,
you know, the normal worker for General Motors off of
a line, you.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Know, scary.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
I saw this while we're talking about AI. Andrew Garfield
was hanging out on Jimmy Kimmel's show and said this.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
He's doing a movie right yeah he talks about this
you're uh.

Speaker 7 (04:43):
You're playing suzanne altman in a movie the the movie
artificial the trailer came out today yeah and that looks
very interesting after making this film did you feel um
assuming that you had some trepidation about ai about artificial intelligence.

Speaker 6 (04:56):
No no i feel like it's all good great.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Did the movie make you more or less.

Speaker 7 (05:04):
Nervous, scared, whatever you want to say.

Speaker 6 (05:06):
It's the same thing that happened to me when I
did the social network, which was I got off Facebook immediately. Really?

Speaker 4 (05:13):
Yeah, I got off my chat GPT immediately.

Speaker 6 (05:15):
I don't really know even how to explain why, but
just the more you know and the more you realize
we're careening into some very unknown territory.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
iRobot. I was thinking that.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
No, Terminator. Remember the Terminator? You ever see the Terminator movies?

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Yeah, I like the second one. That was kind of
the first one.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
Are you guys polite to your chat, GPT or Claude?

Speaker 8 (05:38):
Always.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
It's just Alexa gets the worst.

Speaker 5 (05:40):
Of me, though.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
It's serious for me.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Turn it down.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
And I want to go and kind of give you
the details on this story again because you're going to
be hearing a lot more about it today and in
the coming days what happened. with these former University of
Michigan hockey players yesterday filing a lawsuit against the university
and its board of regents, basically saying that they were
sexually abused when they were hazed as part of their

(06:08):
initiation into joining the team. So this is 16 former
men's hockey players who played at Michigan between 1984 and 2001.
The lawsuit says during that period, the hockey program adopted
sexualized abuse as part of its standard hazing traditions. You guys,
the things that these young men were forced to do,

(06:28):
shaving their genitals, anal penetration. Some of them had their
testicles tied to hockey helmets or buckets that were weighed
down with hockey pucks.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
I mean, just horrible, horrible things.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
The lawsuit says men as young as 17 years old
were subjected to sexualized abuse that would immediately be recognized
as torture under any other circumstance.

Speaker 4 (06:49):
The abuse was ritualized. Can I say.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
That majority of the things that they had them do,
if a guy were to say, you know, hey, I
got an idea, let's have them do this. I mean,
it kind of makes you look a little suspect. Like,
not only are you a horrible human being for tying some,
you know, heavy things to a man's balls. But you
want to be around a man's balls. You know what

(07:15):
I mean? Or the penetration thing.

Speaker 4 (07:18):
That is.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
You're torturing a human being. That's not right.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Torturing a human being, but you're also like you're trying
to be like this manly, I'm a hockey player type guy.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
You're doing stuff here. It's craziness.

Speaker 7 (07:31):
I read that one of them said something to the coach,
and the coach was like, just put your head down
and get through it.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
Oh, my God. Oh, he probably started it, man. They're
all in trouble. Oh, he got to get locked up.

Speaker 8 (07:42):
All right.

Speaker 4 (07:42):
Miss anything from today? Catch up on the podcast on
the free iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
I keep doing that. You know what? Take the winner,
that winner bet out in the future. Thanks, Zach.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
I keep playing it and I forget to delete the
damn thing because we have with this contest that we're doing.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
We have production elements that are incredible. Like this.

Speaker 5 (08:14):
Hey!

Speaker 1 (08:15):
We all know what that sound is. Mojo's Secret Sound. Wait.
We should do the music bad ass. What is Mojo's
Secret Sound? It's the bed, Mojo. It's the music bed.
Mojo's Secret Sound.

Speaker 5 (08:28):
I know.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
A little off kilter here right now. I'm on some
cough medicine. Alina is on with us from Finley, Ohio.
What's happening, Alina?

Speaker 1 (08:37):
How are you? Hi, Alina.

Speaker 7 (08:39):
Hi, how are you?

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Fantastic, Alina. We want to make you a winner. Are
you ready?

Speaker 5 (08:46):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Alina from Finley, Ohio.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
What would you be spending that money on if you
won $ 5, 000?

Speaker 1 (08:56):
I'm going to Georgia in a couple weeks to see
my brother for.

Speaker 4 (08:58):
His graduation from boot camp. So I spend some on
that and the rest on savings.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
Come on. We got to make you a winner. Otherwise,
we're not true Americans.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
We are giving you a chance to win $ 5, 000 so
that you can go see your brother and thank you
for his service, by the way, and thank him for
his service, okay?

Speaker 1 (09:17):
I will.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
For $ 5, 000 from DFCU Financial, the cashback credit union, what
is Mojo's secret sound?

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Unlocking a door with a key. Good guess.

Speaker 5 (09:33):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
Not the right answer.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
I don't know how sometimes to segue to it's not
the right answer. Like, I almost wish that I could
just have the buzzer just automatically go.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
You know what I mean? Like when you get a
wrong answer.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
But I like the suspense level of me pretending like
I think that that's the right answer. It's not the
right answer, though. And Alina, we've had four wrong guesses today.
That means we've got. four more guesses tomorrow for $ 5, 000.
And if we don't get a winner, we're adding to
it and we're going to make it $ 7, 000 next week.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
Good luck with the GoFundMe. I'll still think about it then.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
I know.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
Play, do you listen to the show on a regular basis?

Speaker 5 (10:15):
Um, yeah.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
So I take my kids to school and we listened
to it in the morning and we didn't get the
call in time earlier. So my son was telling me
to try to get that one, but it wasn't right.
So I have to tell him when he gets home
from school.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
Let's make sure we play in the morning. Okay.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
So play before school tomorrow. And, uh, we love you
for that. We also have lions tickets tomorrow too. We're
going to do the, that before throwback throwdown.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
Oh, geez. Football tickets. Well, yes. A gift card to
get football tickets.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
Man, that cough medicine is really good.

Speaker 5 (10:48):
I know.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Buy a lot of stuff with it. So real quick,
that's tomorrow. And then guess what else I got? When
we come back here next, Shannon's got a topic. She's
going to do a topic. I'm going to do a topic.
And if we have time, Kevin will.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
Do a topic. I'm turning into Matt Damon. I like this.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
So we have that all coming up. But also, Tony
Travato just gave me An email with about 30 new
listener complaints.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
Forget my topic. Let's do that. Let's do that next.
We got it next. We'll have it next.

Speaker 8 (11:35):
Turning a regular sound into cash.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
You'll also have bragging rights.

Speaker 8 (11:38):
And the ability to say, I told you so, after
you win. Listen to 30 past the hour during Mojo
for a shot. Powered by DFCU Financial. Looking for a
