cuts to his face and other parts of his body.
He was holding a box cutter. But she said, you know,
it's too early to know the extent of any lasting
damage or scarring right now. She just knows he has
a long road ahead. He has no access to a phone,
social media, or the internet right now. His focus is

entirely on his treatment. And she said, his three kids,
you know, they were there when this happened. She tried
to get them out of the house when she realized
what was going on, But she said, they're still trying
to process something that no child should ever have to experience,
their grandma Perez. His mom has temporary custody while he recovers.

orchestrating his murder is finally starting. A jury of sixteen people,
six guys, ten women has now been selected. Opening statements
are scheduled for Monday, and I find this very I

their views on gangs, whether they grew up listening to
Tupac's music. Prosecutors expect to call thirty five to forty
