Happy Friday, Happy National Quittersday. Today is National Quittersday. Anybody
want to admit to us that today, or maybe prior to today,
you've already quit your New Year's resolution. They say that
today is the day that most people, matter of fact majority,
like they say more than sixty five percent of people
(02:06):
will quit and not do their resolution.
Speaker 6 (02:10):
Honestly, I would.
Speaker 10 (02:11):
Be surprised if you made it this long, like I
feel like usually by the third or the fourth you
kind of like, yeah, right, or.
Speaker 11 (02:18):
Maybe you haven't. You've made a resolution, you haven't even
started it yet, so technically you quit. Today's your day.
Speaker 7 (02:23):
I told you mine. Mine's not quitting. There's no quitting
for me. I forgot George.
Speaker 6 (02:29):
No, oh, not.
Speaker 7 (02:32):
That I watch a lot of it. I'm not going
to tell you that I do, but I haven't for
a long time. I'm like, you know what, why would
I even consider it?
Speaker 6 (02:39):
Love that?
Speaker 7 (02:40):
So it's all in my mind right now. I feel
I feel like, I feel healthy. Yes, I'm I'm a
born again virgin all over again. No, I feel honestly.
Can I tell you something? It makes sex not that important?
You know what I mean? Like, and when I say
that to you, it's not that second isn't important. Sex
(03:01):
with my wife is wonderful, But it's the whole idea
that you guys. You know, everybody's got weird thoughts on
their mind. They look at people differently, you know what
I mean? You get it out of your It's kind
of It's kind of like when I cleansed my soul
of dor rito's. I haven't had I haven't had doritos.
I can't tell you how long I've had na.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
And not the regular one. I just get the regulars. Yeah,
and usually.
Speaker 6 (03:30):
Is it. I haven't had it.
Speaker 7 (03:32):
I have not had a dorito and I cannot tell
you how long I think the last time I had
a dorito I got sick when I when I went
to Taco Bell and got.
Speaker 10 (03:41):
The Yeah, your favorite chip?
Speaker 6 (03:46):
Is that the best chip? You know?
Speaker 7 (03:48):
Honestly my favorite chip is any chip? I actually love anything? Yeah,
you find it. There's not a chip that I discriminate against.
But I'd love to know from the listeners. Uh, you know,
Quitter's day, what do you? What was your resolution? Have
you failed at it miserably? If you have, we'll try
(04:10):
to encourage you to get back on and try it again.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
But did you guys, do any kind of resolution. So
you guys aren't resolution.
Speaker 11 (04:16):
Y I told you mine. I said mine was this
is going to be my year of reconnecting with Jesus
with my faith.
Speaker 6 (04:22):
What have you done? So?
Speaker 11 (04:23):
So I'm doing a daily devotional and I'm actually just
praying again, which I kind of like got away from.
Speaker 6 (04:31):
And I could feel it.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
Bless you, Yeah, you blessed her, bless him by the way.
I think that's wonderful for me.
Speaker 7 (04:38):
Can I tell you something if you've never done a
daily devotional, you can easily if you want to get
one if you want, or.
Speaker 3 (04:45):
There's apps, books on tape or whatever you apps. I did.
Speaker 7 (04:49):
Actually, what's the guy that's the TV preacher guy I'm
not lying to yet. I actually enjoyed his like he
had he had one that you'd read and it was
really simple. It was like a Bible verse and then
it was a quick story of him talking about that
Bible verse, and then it was you know, how to
go about your day. And it was weird because I
(05:09):
would wake up in the morning and I would do
it first thing in the morning.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
I'd be like, oh my gosh, like that's how I'm
feeling right now.
Speaker 7 (05:16):
It felt like you know sometimes people will say you
must be psychic. It was like almost kind of like
and I know it's weird. Yeah, it was like your horoscope.
It was honestly, it really was. It was like your
religious horoscope. So what about textures here? Ninety five five
zero zero a couple of textures texted.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
In right now.
Speaker 7 (05:34):
My resolution has been to listen to your show live
this year instead of on the podcast. I've gotten all
five days of the show. It was, you know what,
listening to the show live gets you prizes, because we
got a ton of prizes that we give away. So
another texture here six one six says cav you killed it.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
I love that.
Speaker 6 (05:58):
Let's see that.
Speaker 7 (06:01):
Two four eight says I quit my resolution of trying
to lose weight about fifteen minutes into the new year.
That you can't, by the way, you can't give it
that not.
Speaker 12 (06:13):
Even a resolution. Yeah, you can start next Monday. That's
what I'm doing. I didn't do good this week. I
was trying to be on my resolution, didn't hit any
of my goals. So I'm gonna try next Monday.
Speaker 6 (06:21):
What is yours again?
Speaker 12 (06:22):
I'm in a whole list that's my lock screen, so
I can stick to my goals.
Speaker 13 (06:25):
He's like drinking more water.
Speaker 12 (06:27):
Yeah, drinking two liters of water a day, gen three
to four times a week, getting seven hours of sleep
because I get like four, and uh, being more conscious
of my spending because I have spent way too much.
But I didn't do any of that this week.
Speaker 11 (06:39):
So next Monday, which one sales were good this week?
Speaker 7 (06:43):
Which one did you abuse the most out of all
of those? Which one did you not do at all?
Speaker 12 (06:47):
I did not eat healthier like rind. I got coffee
every single day this week. I told myself I was
not gonna know.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
I was like, wait a second, you're not saving money
when you go to Whole Foods. Right after the show.
Speaker 12 (06:57):
Whole food Starbucks, Kiki Cafe, coffee shops.
Speaker 6 (07:00):
Every I heard that place.
Speaker 7 (07:01):
By the way, she brought me a coffee from a
Whole Foods that should be illegal. She was like a narcotic.
I drank like five zips of the thing. I felt
like my heart monitor thing was going crazy. It was
like motor oil.
Speaker 6 (07:14):
But I like that.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
It's your lock screen. That's kind of like a.
Speaker 6 (07:19):
Blown up portion of this on my wall.
Speaker 14 (07:21):
So every night when I go to bed, I look
at it.
Speaker 13 (07:22):
Look at you.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
That's important.
Speaker 15 (07:24):
I was also trying to get in the gym more
and I was doing a great job too. Yes, it
was my trainer that stopped it for me. So I
was there Monday Tuesday, and then he's like, I have
a terrible rest of the week, like we're going to
have to pick back up next Monday.
Speaker 13 (07:39):
I'm like, what the heck, I'm trying to be.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
Technically not you quitting? He quit on you quit for you?
Speaker 7 (07:46):
What's up? Latasha? High, Latasha, I'm doing fantastic. I am
feeling a good Friday is about to come.
Speaker 16 (07:56):
Yeah, it's.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
What got you to call her.
Speaker 17 (08:07):
She's been on her stood journey. I will too good.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
That's Shannon. By the way, say hi to Shannon.
Speaker 18 (08:14):
Good moarning.
Speaker 7 (08:15):
You guys keep yourself. You guys can keep each other accountable. Latasha,
you call in from time to time and say Shannon
if you're ever struggling, and she'll build you up and
vice versa.
Speaker 3 (08:24):
She'll need your help from time to time.
Speaker 16 (08:27):
Yes, my husband, Oh that you're on the.
Speaker 7 (08:31):
Radio with us right now. What your husband's see? Hey,
what's up buddy? You got a beautiful lady? Hare?
Speaker 3 (08:37):
Is he doing anything to help you with this or
is is he got a resolution?
Speaker 19 (08:44):
He's staying one.
Speaker 3 (08:47):
Isn't it interesting? He's he hasn't pissed you off?
Speaker 7 (08:54):
What do they always say when whenever you're mad at
somebody says you're you're I'm gonna the Lord?
Speaker 3 (09:01):
I forget. I forgot what the saying is. It's like
I'm still nucleus.
Speaker 17 (09:05):
I don't want to quote anything road.
Speaker 7 (09:07):
Yeah, no, there, you be good. Okay, don't kill your
husband this year. That's it. Maybe funny you're on a
spiritual journey, but you just killed your husband, Stephanie.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
What's going on?
Speaker 6 (09:17):
Hi?
Speaker 7 (09:17):
There?
Speaker 20 (09:18):
I My resolution is to save two thousand dollars.
Speaker 15 (09:23):
Well, keep two thousand dollars in my bank account at
all times, and save one hundred dollars per week.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
Okay, big money? Yeah, how are you doing that?
Speaker 7 (09:32):
What do you?
Speaker 3 (09:32):
What'd you give up? Because you aren't you know, and
you're not spending on Just to.
Speaker 15 (09:37):
Be conscious of my spending and to not explurge so
much and keep my Amazon purchases to a minimum.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
Yeah, there you go.
Speaker 7 (09:46):
Yeah, by the way, your Amazon delivery drivers are missing
you right now, Stephanie.
Speaker 15 (09:53):
Yeah, I get a couple of them per day.
Speaker 16 (09:56):
So this will be a big change.
Speaker 7 (09:59):
All right, be on that same journey and then call
us in a week and I want to see where
that account goes. We'll do like an account countdown with you, okay,

work on our bushes.
Speaker 22 (11:12):
I've been working on other people's bushes.
Speaker 6 (11:14):
Really makes you want to whack your weeds.
Speaker 7 (11:16):
By the way, is every one of these clues going
to be a sexual reference?
Speaker 3 (11:21):

Speaker 7 (11:35):
What's the story about Fetty Wap that came out the
Shannon's got.
Speaker 11 (11:38):
You just listened to the seven thirty Dirty? Okay, not
doing it this?
Speaker 3 (11:41):
Betty Wap has made the Dirty?
Speaker 6 (11:44):
Amy? What year was that? Yes?
Speaker 5 (11:47):
A year?
Speaker 6 (11:49):
Amy? What gave it away? Oh?
Speaker 3 (11:52):
Gosh?
Speaker 7 (11:52):
Okay, Amy Polar and Tina Fey have done so many

Congratulations to Amy, thank you, I have a great morning.
Speaker 3 (12:24):
Be safe, is it rain and still yeah yeah, little
be careful.
Speaker 7 (12:29):
My tahoe from Gordon Chevrolet Ding has supercrews on it,
and my supercrews was not working today, so whoever the
geniuses are they put together the supercreus because of how
wet it was and it really couldn't see the lines
in the street. It was kind of like having a
little malfunction anything. And it was one of those ones
(12:50):
where I wasn't letting that thing drive me today. I
was getting a little scared because you got to be
careful out on those roads todays it's a lot of
standing water. We're giving you a chance to win Morgan
wall And tickets and listen also next week too, more
of those along with Bruno Mars and Cardi B tickets.
(13:11):
Morgan Wallan tickets could be yours. Text Wallen w A
L l E N to nine five five zero zero.
Make sure you spell check it because I think the
other day I did that as a word and it
kind of came back where people were misspelling it and
it didn't register for the contest. So wallin text that
to nine five five zero zero standard text and data
(13:31):
rates to apply, and you could be seeing Morgan Wall
and sold out show at the Big House in ann Arbor.
Speaker 5 (13:38):
Joy in the Morning's Dirty on the.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
Thirty, Shannon with the Dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 7 (13:43):
It's the Friday before we all get to have our
first RESTful weekend of the year. I don't know why
I just said that, right either, I'm like randomly thinking
to myself about sleeping in tomorrow morning. I'm excited. Yeah,
you don't have anything tomorrow morny, not in the morning?
Speaker 4 (14:01):
Good?
Speaker 3 (14:02):
Same with me?
Speaker 6 (14:03):
All right, what do you got?
Speaker 11 (14:04):
So it looks like Diddy will not be getting a
helping hand from President Trump after all, did Hey, in
the middle of his roughly four year federal prison sentence,
reportedly wrote a letter asking Trump for presidential pardon, hoping
to shorten his time behind bars, But in a recent
interview that he did with The New York Times, the
President confirming he has zero plans to grant clemency for Diddy,
(14:27):
saying he's moved on from their old celebrity friendship and
that did. He's passed hostility toward him, makes a pardon pretty.
Speaker 6 (14:35):
Unlikely at this point.
Speaker 11 (14:36):
And this is what the President said the last time
he was asked about this apprentice.
Speaker 7 (14:41):
You mentioned once in twenty twelve, and Diddy was a
good friend of yours back then.
Speaker 5 (14:45):
He has since found himself in some very serious legal trouble.
That's true. Would you ever consider pardoning him?
Speaker 24 (14:53):
I haven't seen him. I haven't spoken with him in years.
He used to really like me a lot. I think
when I ran for polit actually sort of that relationship
busted up from what I read.
Speaker 6 (15:04):
I don't know.
Speaker 24 (15:04):
He didn't tell me that, but I'd read some little
bit nasty statements and the paper. All of a sudden,
you know, it's different. You become a much different person
when you run for politics and you.
Speaker 4 (15:14):
Do what's right.
Speaker 6 (15:15):
Not happening.
Speaker 11 (15:17):
Travis Kelce is reportedly in discussions with Netflix about taking
on a broadcasting job with them, possibly as an exclusive
sports correspondent or a lead host for their live sports
coverage and events, and these talks comes His future in
football is being openly discussed, with some report saying he's
considering life after the NFL. He's going to retire and
(15:39):
explore opportunities off the field. This is at the top
of the list for him Netflix.
Speaker 7 (15:44):
I'm hoping then if that's the case and he does
retire and he does become an analyst, that he gets
another network to go with too, because Netflix only has
like a select amount of games right now, unless maybe
they'll blow up and do more games. But I think
a guy like Travis Kelcey is like how we're seeing
Gronk and Tom Brady. I mean, he's a Legit put
(16:05):
him in the booth as the number one guy.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
I would probably think.
Speaker 7 (16:10):
That CBS would look at downgrading Tony Romo for a
guy like Travis Kelcey.
Speaker 3 (16:15):
Don't you don't incredible? He's great.
Speaker 7 (16:19):
But there's more relevance to Travis Kelcey now than there
is to Tony Romo.
Speaker 3 (16:23):
You know, relevance only gives you so far. Yeah, be interesting.
Speaker 6 (16:27):
Huh did you see?
Speaker 11 (16:29):
And I think it's genius whomever thought of this Tom
Brady's new commercial for Pizza Hunt.
Speaker 6 (16:34):
Yes, it is so good.
Speaker 3 (16:37):
You know what I missed most about playing yelling?
Speaker 6 (16:41):
So I got this job.
Speaker 25 (16:43):
I got your pizza Hut.
Speaker 5 (16:49):
Pizza Hut the Goat.
Speaker 11 (16:53):
Pizza really really great idea whomever came up with that one. However,
the ad is getting criticized. Tom Brady specifically getting criticized
for doing it because he spent so many years preaching
about his TV twelve diet, which is like nos fast food,
no dairy, no sugar, so fans are now calling him
out for teaming up with.
Speaker 7 (17:13):
That's the first thing I thought of is there's no
way tom Brady's eaten pea.
Speaker 4 (17:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (17:20):
And lastly, a story out of Austin, Texas, guy named
Burne Hobart says his door dash order was mark delivered,
but no food was actually at his door.
Speaker 6 (17:32):
The dasher had submitted what appeared to.
Speaker 11 (17:34):
Be a photo created by AI's showing the meal in
a bag at his doorset. But this guy looks at
his doorstep and is like, there is I'm not crazy,
there's no food here. The post included. So this guy
goes on social media and he's.
Speaker 6 (17:51):
Like, look at this.
Speaker 11 (17:53):
He shows a comparison of the AI delivery image and
his actual front door and a parent this is not
an uncommon thing. Shortly after this post spread online, door
dash investigated permanently banned the driver who did this and
resent this guy his food at no extra charge.
Speaker 3 (18:15):
I wonder how much that happens.
Speaker 11 (18:17):
Probably a lot, I think it was he posted and
then people were posting yeah, similar images that had happened
to that chrs.
Speaker 6 (18:24):
So miss anything from this week.
Speaker 11 (18:26):
Of shows, You can always go back and check out
the podcast twenty four seven for free on the iHeartRadio.
Speaker 23 (18:30):
Apps Mojo in the Morning thirty on the thirty.
Speaker 5 (18:41):
Yeah, Rain, you suck. You were listening to Mojo in
the Morning.
Speaker 3 (18:46):
Hey, uh Lydia, did you see my text to you?
Speaker 20 (18:50):
Yeah?
Speaker 14 (18:50):
I responded to you. But Daniel is talking to Triple
A right now.
Speaker 3 (18:53):
So I want to I want to get him on
the phone with us.
Speaker 6 (18:56):
What's going on?
Speaker 26 (18:58):
Come on?
Speaker 14 (18:58):
And then he had to hang up because of Triple A.
Speaker 7 (19:00):
Poor guy, So Daniel, we shout out to Daniel in
Toledo and Charlie and Grand Rapids. They keep our show
on in Grand Rapids, Toledo, Grand Rapids SNX, Toledo.
Speaker 3 (19:15):
Kiss.
Speaker 7 (19:16):
Well, poor guy is a car broke down and he
was on his way into work and the car broke
before he got to the station. And the guy ran
in the rain to the station to make sure that
the show got on, and he just left his car
in the middle of the road. So he's like texts,
send a text to Charlie and myself basically saying that
(19:40):
the cars in the middle of the road and he's
got to get out there.
Speaker 3 (19:42):
Daniel, are you there? Are you safe?
Speaker 16 (19:45):
Hey?
Speaker 19 (19:45):
What's going on?
Speaker 16 (19:46):
I'm here.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
I'm making sure that you're okay.
Speaker 7 (19:49):
I you know, I don't want First off, first and foremost,
give it up to Daniel that he made.
Speaker 6 (19:54):
Sure I'm selling you got to get employee of a month.
Speaker 7 (19:58):
Yeah, if you don't get there, if you don't get
something from uh Taylor there for that, for the fact
that you did that and still showed up at work,
I'd be sitting in my car going, I ain't getting
out of this thing right now.
Speaker 19 (20:12):
Well, I'm actually still in the car. I'm waiting for
Triple A to come to.
Speaker 16 (20:17):
Get the car.
Speaker 6 (20:17):
So all right, So are we on the air?
Speaker 26 (20:20):
Yeah, that is a good question.
Speaker 27 (20:23):
I know.
Speaker 8 (20:24):
Wait this praise and I'm.
Speaker 6 (20:26):
Like, are we on the air?
Speaker 7 (20:28):
Call us up if we're on the air in Toledo,
if you can hear us in Toledo on Kiss.
Speaker 19 (20:33):
So the system, the system that is able to guy
you guys through commercials, but it does play salt at
the end of the commercials Okay, I come in. Is
that I cut their salt out to get you guys
back to sink?
Speaker 3 (20:45):
So okay, it might be playing a couple of songs.
So is it playing a song or two right now?
Speaker 6 (20:48):
Do we know?
Speaker 3 (20:49):
Hold on?
Speaker 6 (20:50):
It possibly could be all right? All right, So here's
the story.
Speaker 7 (20:54):
If you hear anything a little wacky today on Kiss,
just know that Annual is stuck on the side of
the road.
Speaker 3 (21:01):
Where did the car break? Where are you right now?
Speaker 19 (21:04):

Old McDonald's on the door in Hollywood, the.
Speaker 7 (21:19):
Old McDonald's had a farm. I Uh, what's going on
with the car? Like, what's the what's the symptoms that
you have there?
Speaker 19 (21:29):
So my I guess one of my axles on the
right side, my right front tire, I.
Speaker 28 (21:32):
Guess it just broke off. The tire is like it
won't go back straight. It's like croocket. So I'm gonna
call my buddies. Anything Bell Tire can do to help you. Budd,

Daniel may be stuck for a little bit because Triple
A is on their way and they sometimes take a
little bit of time. If there's any way that once
you cross over that Michigan, Ohio border, you can just

I felt like I was living a comedy routine that
I've seen Sebastian malv what's his name, Sebastian Malfsco or
(30:52):
whatever his name is. He does a great stand up
routine about exactly what Chelsea and I experienced happened to
us last night.
Speaker 3 (31:00):
So Chelsea and I were eating dinner. We just sat down.
Speaker 7 (31:03):
We got to carry out at Redcoat, which is a
big burger place in the area here, and so excited
to sit down and just honestly eat.
Speaker 3 (31:13):
I was like, so hungry.
Speaker 7 (31:15):
I had not eaten it all since earlier in the
day I had Middle eats nice.
Speaker 3 (31:20):
So, long story short.
Speaker 7 (31:23):
Sebastian does this stand up routine about how times are
so different nowadays. The biggest difference nowadays from the past
is in the past, if you just randomly showed up
at somebody's house in the doorbell ring, you would get excited.
It'd be like, oh my god, who's at the door.
Now when the doorbell rings, you dive on the ground
(31:45):
and start hiding so that nobody knows that you're home.
It's really interesting how we've all changed our ways. Well,
last night, we're sitting at the kitchen table and you
know that ring? Anybody have ring at all? I have
a ring doorbell, and the ring doorbell goes ning. No,
and when the ding dong thing goes off, I'm telling you,
(32:05):
I am like petrified. Like it's like I get a
chill go through my body and I go, are you
expecting anybody?
Speaker 1 (32:12):
No?
Speaker 7 (32:12):
I'm not expecting anybody one of those. I'm like thinking,
my kids, are you know what's going on? It's like,
what's up. I don't even get up from the kitchen
table to go walk and look to the door to
see if there's, you know, even a shape of a
person there. I grab my phone instantly and I look
at my ring and I'm like, oh my god, it's
(32:35):
the neighbor. And I don't want to say the neighbor's name,
but you know who you are. Were you expecting them, Chelsea?
Speaker 1 (32:43):
No?
Speaker 3 (32:43):
Are you expecting them?
Speaker 6 (32:44):
Tom?
Speaker 7 (32:44):
No, you can't go to somebody's house unless you text
or call ahead of time.
Speaker 6 (32:51):
Did he or she need something?
Speaker 1 (32:53):
Right?
Speaker 7 (32:53):
They came over to say that they hadn't seen us.
They wanted to know, however things doing and what's been new?
Speaker 6 (33:01):
You can't do that. Yes, you can't check?
Speaker 7 (33:04):
Can you cannot wellness check in person? You got a
wellness check like that? All right, let's talk about this.
Speaker 5 (33:11):
What's his name?
Speaker 10 (33:12):
And his wife was just found dead in a house
in Los Angeles and because nobody checked on them, the.
Speaker 6 (33:17):
Dogs you're talking about?
Speaker 8 (33:21):
What about the time ago?
Speaker 6 (33:23):
Come on twenty five.
Speaker 7 (33:25):
I'm not dying if I here's the deal, they die,
They have no right to wellness check me. My family
can wellness check me. They can't wellness check. And the
only wellness check that you can do is you can
call up on the phone. And I'm going to tell
you something right now. The biggest thing that you do
as a neighbor to your neighbor is stay out of
their business. Those are my favorite neighbors. Those are the
(33:47):
best neighbors, the ones, the ones that just wave from
afar like as they're passing it by. So and I'll
tell you this no more. I'm sorry, no offense to
the Jehovah's. I don't have anything wrong with you. Je
cannot come to my door anymore.
Speaker 6 (34:03):
This is this is I don't know.
Speaker 11 (34:08):
I had somebody come to the door yesterday and I
was in the middle of trying to pay a bill
on the phone. So I like, look up and in
my house, if you come to my front door, you
can see me inside because it's my door is a
big window. So this guy knocks on the door and
I'm like, same thing. I'm not expecting anybody. I can
(34:28):
see behind him. He has a van parked at the
end of my sidewalk and it's for cheese steaks. He
was selling cheese steaks out of his I've never seen
any idea.
Speaker 18 (34:40):
Yeah, there was a sign.
Speaker 11 (34:41):
I don't know the name of the business, but it
just said cheese steaks. I'm like, I'm not going to
the door as I'm on the phone. I just walked
into another room.
Speaker 6 (34:49):
He saw me. I just walked away. The dogs went nuts.
Speaker 3 (34:53):
Steaks and I am.
Speaker 6 (34:58):
Target because I did not have my door smothered and
was very clearly.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
Home smothered in whiz cheese. Hell yeah, yeah.
Speaker 7 (35:08):
It is strange by the way that the door to
door people like selling meats and stuff like that used
to also happen years ago. People would randomly come to
my house and it would be like trying to sell
me meats out of their car, and I would buy
from them. That's how crazy it is nowadays. You come
to my door and you're selling me meats, I'm thinking
that you're trying to kill me. Eight four four Mojo
Live eight four four sixty six five six f four eight.
(35:30):
What's up, Rachel?
Speaker 34 (35:32):
Hi?
Speaker 35 (35:33):
Well, when I was home from work one day, I
had a knock on my door and I didn't know
who it was, so I hid and I could see
him out the front bedroom window. He ended up kicking
my door.
Speaker 7 (35:43):
In and breaking in when I'm home.
Speaker 3 (35:45):
See, I'm telling you, people are not good people anymore.
Speaker 16 (35:49):
You know.
Speaker 3 (35:50):
I don't want anybody coming here.
Speaker 35 (35:52):
Came in the living room and I ended up running
out of the front bedroom and living room screaming my
head off at him, and he down road and on
my front yard, still screaming at him, and the cops eventually.
Speaker 27 (36:04):
Did find him.
Speaker 6 (36:05):
This is what could happen.
Speaker 10 (36:06):
Do you But if you answer, maybe he wouldn't have
broke in because you didn't answer.
Speaker 7 (36:15):
I was actually thinking of not going to my door
after seeing the neighbor on the ring cam, but then
I realized, when you go and look at your ring cam,
it shows that you're looking at it. It's got a
different color that flashes. Yeah, that's crazy.
Speaker 6 (36:31):
Yeah, he or she probably doesn't know that. I'm assuming
it's a huge.
Speaker 3 (36:34):
Yeah, I'm telling hey. Quick question for you, Rachel.
Speaker 7 (36:37):
When the guy got arrested for breaking into your door,
did his van talk about cheese steaks?
Speaker 3 (36:47):
Okay? He was on foot? All right, thank you. That's
the other one too, the guys, the people on foot
that are.
Speaker 6 (36:52):
Selling you, uh.
Speaker 7 (36:56):
What window sidings or whatever that it is, or they're
trying to sell you magazines. Remember the day they used
to sell you magazines for their for their school trip
or whatever.
Speaker 3 (37:07):
No, I can't do that anymore. I got a gun.
Speaker 11 (37:10):
I caught me as I was walking outside to my
car too, so I couldn't hide.
Speaker 13 (37:14):
You have an active neighborhood.
Speaker 3 (37:15):
What's up, Shana or Sheila?
Speaker 16 (37:18):
Hi?
Speaker 15 (37:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 17 (37:19):
So I have a neighbor who came and knocked on
my door like probably three days after the New Year's and.
Speaker 31 (37:24):
He wanted to know if I meet, specifically if I
wanted to have a drink with him.
Speaker 26 (37:27):
On New Year's Oh, my god, my life, Oh with
my partner?
Speaker 6 (37:36):
Whoa, So did you tell him that I told him?
Speaker 27 (37:39):
I told him I was pregnant.
Speaker 3 (37:42):
Wait a second, so Shanela Sheila. So he didn't know
your day.
Speaker 6 (37:47):
No, he didn't, he didn't know. He didn't know.
Speaker 18 (37:50):
I don't even remember exactly what day it was, but
it was like days after New Year's and he specifically
asked if I can drink with him on New Years.
Speaker 3 (37:57):
He's trying to flirt with you.
Speaker 6 (37:58):
He had no clue.
Speaker 16 (38:00):
Man as is like at least sixty no way.
Speaker 6 (38:05):
New Year?
Speaker 3 (38:05):
What's up, VICKI?
Speaker 6 (38:06):
How you doing?
Speaker 7 (38:07):
Hey?
Speaker 16 (38:07):
How you guys doing?
Speaker 3 (38:08):
What's happening?
Speaker 31 (38:11):
So when the rings, I work at my dining room
table a lot of the times, bring my stuff out
and come downstairs where there's a big open window and everything.
So if somebody rings my doorbell, they can see me
through like the front window. I just don't move.
Speaker 16 (38:25):
I just sit right there.
Speaker 7 (38:27):
Really wait, you don't even you see me? Yeah, but
you but you don't move your body, Like what are
you trying to think that there? That there's like a
mannequin at the door or what's.
Speaker 6 (38:37):
That at the table?
Speaker 31 (38:39):
Completely just completely adore them.
Speaker 6 (38:43):
You're doing something.
Speaker 7 (38:44):
It's funny because there are times where I'll sit there
and I think they can see the reflection of me
in the you know the window that's right there. And
all I keep thinking to myself is if I don't move,
maybe they think I'm sleeping, But you actually visually are
sitting there on what your zoom call is, and you're
not still answering.
Speaker 17 (39:04):
Oh yeah, I'm just working.
Speaker 31 (39:05):
And yeah, I mean ninety percent of the time I
had headphone time because I'm usually listening to something. Yeah,
I'm working. So they might think I'm on a call
and just don't hear the doorbell, but I mean they can't.
They I can see them staying at my porch when
I'm sitting in a dining room.
Speaker 3 (39:19):
That's interesting. They just kind of sit there. Thank you
for the call. I appreciate it. What's up, David? How
you doing?
Speaker 16 (39:24):
I'm doing all right. How are you guys this morning?
Speaker 7 (39:26):
We're good, man, except for don't come to my house
unless you call our text ahead of time.
Speaker 16 (39:31):
Yeah, see, I got I gotta tell me that's there?
Do you guys? Would be in a super anti social
My roommate and I moved into the suburbs like over
the summer, and it's actually been a delightful time with
our neighbors. Had I had a day a few months
ago where some there, someone came to my door and
I was like, oh god, this is going to be
like someone's trying to sell me something and I don't stop.
(39:54):
One of my it's one of my neighbors, and like
her kid saying, hey, we're just going around trying to
like get a petition signed for getting more flending for
the local schools. And it was delightful and and and
then come to Halloween, one of our neighbors dropped us
a little like invitation to an autumn mixer that was
(40:15):
in the neighborhood.
Speaker 3 (40:17):
And it was a great What suburbs? What suburb are you?
I'm an Explina, remind me never to move to And
why are you recording us? I heard you you're recording us, David.
Speaker 16 (40:33):
I didn't. I didn't say that.
Speaker 3 (40:34):
No, I think you hit the button on your fire.
Speaker 7 (40:37):
Yeah, David, David, it is delightful, but not when I'm
eating my red coat.
Speaker 3 (40:42):
I don't want anybody coming to bother me. Yeah, I know.
Speaker 16 (40:45):
Oh my god, you gotta like make friends again.
Speaker 7 (40:48):
Man, Actually, hold on a second. Tina's got an idea
for me, David. What do you think I should put
outside of my house?
Speaker 22 (40:56):
You can put you can put a solicitation.
Speaker 18 (40:59):
No solicitation.
Speaker 6 (41:00):
Oh I don't care. It doesn't David.
Speaker 7 (41:02):
I'm gonna have a sign that says it's not delightful
for you to come here right now.
Speaker 6 (41:07):
No soliciting, No, no makes friends should be people.
Speaker 16 (41:13):
I promise its to be.
Speaker 13 (41:15):
Jeffrey Dahmer, that's true.
Speaker 6 (41:17):
It's more likely.
Speaker 16 (41:18):
Oh my god, yeah no, it's not.
Speaker 3 (41:20):
Thank you for the call, David, got it just und.
Speaker 7 (41:26):
But didn't taste so much for this damn phone. I
throw it through the wall. This is Mojo in the morning.
It's Mojo in the morning. So Anna went to go
get a little Taco Bell and it wasn't what you
thought it was going to be.
Speaker 6 (41:39):
Like, No, the hold that.
Speaker 15 (41:41):
These cheesy steak burritos have on me at Taco Bell
is actually insane. I crave it every day and there
is no Taco Bell near where I live in downtown.
Speaker 6 (41:51):
I ask you where you go?
Speaker 13 (41:52):
No, so I have to drive twenty minutes. It's it's
quite like a commitment.
Speaker 3 (41:56):
Where do you go, like closing or dearborn, dear, why
you go all the way to.
Speaker 15 (41:59):
Dear have to that's like the closest one, or like
royal oak or something anyways, so I ordered it on
the app. I'm thinking about it the whole time. I'm like, oh,
I can't wait to eat these. I ordered four of
them so I could heat some up in the air
fryer the next like day or something.
Speaker 3 (42:13):
Does that work?
Speaker 13 (42:14):
I mean, I don't know it tastes.
Speaker 15 (42:17):
I haven't tried it and still have not tried it
because when I got there and the the person in
the drive through went to hand me it, they were
so clearly sick, like sniffling, like here you go, do
you want any sauce? And like noses red voice is
messed up.
Speaker 13 (42:35):
I couldn't eat anything. I threw it right away.
Speaker 15 (42:38):
I'm just sitting there like, maybe you shouldn't have went
into work, Like I understand you need, you need your
money or whatever, but you room my entire Taco bell experience.
Speaker 7 (42:47):
Wait, well, how did you know that the sniffling person
was the one that made it for you? And they
weren't just the person that was handing it.
Speaker 13 (42:54):
I don't care who it was. You shouldn't be in
the facility if you have flu a or flu B.
Speaker 11 (43:00):
Really, so at that point, if I'm craving something so bad,
you're thinking about it for twenty minutes.
Speaker 7 (43:04):
Can you get I think i'd still eat it. Can
you get sick from just a person touching your food?
Speaker 15 (43:11):
Or I mean, who knows. They definitely filled up my
coat because I saw them do that.
Speaker 7 (43:15):
Really well, maybe I don't know. That's interesting that what
would you do? Would you would you eat the food
from the sick person or would you worry about the
sick person the getting their their germs in your food?
Speaker 15 (43:28):
After COVID Like it was just like, if you're feeling sick,
you just don't go to work. I thought that was
like a thing.
Speaker 13 (43:35):
Why are you making that face?
Speaker 3 (43:37):
You wasn't here with the neurovirus. Oh that is kind
of true.
Speaker 15 (43:42):
Different.
Speaker 11 (43:43):
I love when I'm at a restaurant and I see
like they do all the things they got, the hairnet,
the gloves, and then you watch them wipe their nose,
put the gloves on, or pick up their phone.
Speaker 6 (43:53):
I'm like, well, that just defeated the purpose.
Speaker 13 (43:57):
I feel.
Speaker 10 (43:57):
You don't like seeing them visually sick does something to
you that says I don't want to eat this. I
probably would have still ate it because I done been
to some conies and I know they're not the cleanest people.
Speaker 6 (44:10):
The food is amazing.
Speaker 7 (44:11):
What are you so you're saying that the Coney's were
so dirty? You'll still eat it depending on how good
the food is.
Speaker 3 (44:18):
You don't see you've been to.
Speaker 10 (44:21):
I love con So you see him in the back
on the big ass grill, mixing everything up, sweating all
over it.
Speaker 6 (44:27):
Like you know, the place I won't go to anymore
because I saw a guy sweating on the burgers.
Speaker 11 (44:31):
It was delicious, I know it is, but I could
never eat there again because that visual and.
Speaker 3 (44:37):
The one that was on the news.
Speaker 7 (44:39):
The only time I started going there again is after
they had the health department come back for the redo.
But I want to I want to focus on the
idea that if a person is sick, would you not
eat what they gave you?
Speaker 3 (44:55):
What's going on? How you doing, Amanda? How are you?
Speaker 6 (44:59):
Are you good?
Speaker 5 (45:00):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (45:02):
I think I'm coming back to her. Oh that's crazy?
Breaker one nine.
Speaker 4 (45:08):
Over?
Speaker 3 (45:09):
What What's what's going on? What are your thoughts on this?
Speaker 36 (45:14):
So?
Speaker 17 (45:14):
My big thing is like when you are getting your
food and the person handing you your food no offense
to anybody, but when their teeth are broken.
Speaker 31 (45:24):
And they're like day, no like, I just picture that every.
Speaker 6 (45:29):
Bite I take.
Speaker 22 (45:29):
I'm like, yeah, I.
Speaker 27 (45:32):
Just feel like they used to be in the grill area.
Speaker 7 (45:40):
What about this Amanda in the Amanda? What if they
have a missing finger, put a.
Speaker 18 (45:49):
Glove on it. I don't care.
Speaker 16 (45:50):
I don't want to see the teeth.
Speaker 7 (45:51):
Yeah, but if but if the person has a missing finger,
do you just assume that they lost their finger right
when they were making you the food?
Speaker 3 (45:58):
Or just their tooth is the thing that they lost.
Speaker 31 (46:01):
No, but the tooth is like black and ew like no,
I can't do it.
Speaker 3 (46:06):
Okay, all right, Ashley?
Speaker 6 (46:08):
What's up?
Speaker 4 (46:09):
Hi?
Speaker 3 (46:09):
Ashley?
Speaker 17 (46:11):
Hey, I am not going to eat anything if I
see somebody sick.
Speaker 6 (46:16):
That is the no. No, okay.
Speaker 16 (46:18):
I don't even like when people.
Speaker 29 (46:20):
Be looking at fingers, like after eating chips and.
Speaker 13 (46:24):
Stuff like that.
Speaker 33 (46:26):
Now you coughing and hacking over my food?
Speaker 16 (46:29):
No, that's a no. Not. I'm going to drive right off.
I'm not even paying for the food.
Speaker 10 (46:34):
I'm pulling off.
Speaker 7 (46:35):
Wow, I didn't talk to a doctor and find out
can you get the flu from somebody touching your food?
Speaker 6 (46:41):
What's up?
Speaker 3 (46:42):
And how you doing?
Speaker 5 (46:44):
Wonderful?
Speaker 16 (46:44):
How are you?
Speaker 6 (46:45):
I'm doing? Okay?
Speaker 7 (46:46):
I would have still ate that damn uh steak cheesy
steak burrito burrito.
Speaker 6 (46:51):
Yeah no, Uh.
Speaker 16 (46:53):
The reason I don't go to a page why.
Speaker 8 (46:58):
You look snick?
Speaker 36 (46:59):
You sick?
Speaker 16 (47:00):
No, don't touch my food.
Speaker 3 (47:01):
Wait, but what about the they have sneeze guards there
that protect you from all that stuff?
Speaker 31 (47:07):
Do you know how long that's and do you honestly
think that you know I'm.
Speaker 16 (47:11):
Five foot tall?
Speaker 3 (47:14):
Yeah, you and Shannon. By the way, sneeze guards don't
protect the food from you, guys.
Speaker 6 (47:19):
I get it.
Speaker 3 (47:20):
That's funny. Hold on a second, Kelly, what's up, Kelly,
it's Mojo in the morning.
Speaker 37 (47:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 29 (47:26):
I agree with the first caller.
Speaker 13 (47:28):
I mean it an elephense.
Speaker 18 (47:29):
But like, if your teeth really aren't that great.
Speaker 31 (47:35):
And like you and you're like, hey, how do you
like your burrito?
Speaker 18 (47:38):
And you smile, I'm like, I'm not gonna like that.
Speaker 31 (47:42):
I don't think I could eat it.
Speaker 17 (47:44):
I mean that in no offense, really, but I've also
seen people where like their clothes look kind of dirty,
and I'm like, do I really want to eat this?
Speaker 3 (47:53):
By the way, the people they're not biting your burrito,
they just.
Speaker 13 (47:57):
Have they're not biting.
Speaker 15 (48:00):
Round it.
Speaker 6 (48:03):
Is there? Yeah, I remember I forgot where I was.
Speaker 10 (48:06):
But the dude had like visible flakes all over his work,
and I was looking like, sear to god, if I'm
biting the dan, Are.
Speaker 6 (48:16):
You sure that's sold on my baked potatoes?
Speaker 7 (48:20):
Leah has a fix. Don't throw that food out, right,
Uh Leah.
Speaker 29 (48:25):
Right, just put it in the air fryer and it'll
kill the germ.
Speaker 4 (48:28):
There you go.
Speaker 6 (48:30):
It's still in your brain though.
Speaker 3 (48:31):
Yeah, that's the smartest move ever I thought about giving.
Speaker 13 (48:35):
I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker 6 (48:36):
Oh my god. Yeah, poor guy.
Speaker 3 (48:41):
Yeah, he's got a better immune system than I do.
Speaker 6 (48:43):
He's out all the time.
Speaker 4 (48:44):
What is going on?
Speaker 3 (48:46):
Oh my god, I'm so offended by this this conversation.
We'll be right back.
Speaker 4 (48:51):
What do you get the hell out of, touge.
Speaker 23 (48:53):

Speaker 11 (49:40):
The ice officer who shot and killed thirty seven year
old Renee Nicole Good, a mom of three, in Minneapolis
earlier this week, has been identified as Jonathan Ross.
Speaker 6 (49:50):
He is a longtime ice agent, and.
Speaker 11 (49:53):
Federal and court records show that back in June of
twenty twenty five, he was seriously injured after being dragged
by a vehicle during another vice enforcement action, suffering cuts
that required some medical treatment. Now again, authorities claim Renee
Good tried to drive toward agents and impeded their work,
while local witnesses and leaders say she was absolutely not
(50:15):
a threat. She was simply attempting to leave the scene
when she was shot. Vice President Jade Vance she.
Speaker 6 (50:21):
Was trying to ram this guy with his with her
car he shot back.
Speaker 3 (50:27):
He defended himself.
Speaker 11 (50:29):
Tensions still very high across the nation as conflicting messages
and stories make the realms.
Speaker 6 (50:35):
This is Minnesota. Governor Tim Walls.
Speaker 32 (50:38):
Lead Minnesota alone. None of this is accomplishing either his
mission or making us any safer. So just give us
a pause, let us breathe. This relentless assault on Minnesota
for whatever reason.
Speaker 3 (50:52):
Is just cruel. Now it has reached cruelness.
Speaker 11 (50:55):
By the way, he declared today as a day of
unity and remembrance of Renee Good, urging Minnesota ins to
observe a moment of silence.
Speaker 6 (51:02):
At eleven am.
Speaker 7 (51:05):
Last night, By the way, there was an incident in
excuse me, in Portland, Oregon too, where ICE agents were
pulling over what they alleged to be at Trenday Naragua or.
Speaker 3 (51:16):
Whatever it is Uragua. What isn't Trinidadian.
Speaker 7 (51:19):
No, they one of the that Venezuelan gang that killed
a bunch of people, but they also tried to take
off and then shot at him, and then those people
in the car.
Speaker 3 (51:29):
Called nine one one. So there's more protests there today too.
Speaker 10 (51:34):
It sounds like my man is to your point, maybe
had a trauma response you've been in a situation before
where he was approached with a vehicle in an unsettling way.
Speaker 6 (51:43):
It seems like maybe he overreacted based on that.
Speaker 11 (51:47):
In the latest twist in the Beckham family drama, Brooklyn
Beckham has reportedly said his parents David and Victoria, a
legal letter telling them to not contact him directly. Ever again,
all communication at this point must.
Speaker 6 (52:02):
Go through his lawyers.
Speaker 11 (52:04):
If they want to talk to him, they got to
talk to his people.
Speaker 6 (52:06):
This is just so sad to me.
Speaker 11 (52:08):
And if you aren't aware, so this stems from a
whole bunch of things, disagreements that I think have just
added up over time, including some negative feelings about Brooklyn's wife,
Nicola Pelts that suggested that Brooklyn was being controlled by her,
something he found really offensive that was being spread. And
(52:29):
as tensions escalated within the family, Brooklyn blocked mom and
dad also his younger brother Cruz on Instagram and he
has just made it very clear he does not want
any contact with them. Cruise in fact actually confirmed that, yeah,
they were all blocked on social media. They woke up
and they were all blocked one morning.
Speaker 6 (52:48):
Fetti Wop is in the dirty today. He is back
in the world.
Speaker 11 (52:51):
After spending more than three years in federal prison, The
Trap Queen Rapper was serving a six year sentence for
drug trafficking. Was transferred to home confinement in Philly earlier
this week, about three years ahead of schedule. So he
got lucky and as part of his release that he's
going to remain under strict supervision through November with conviction
or excuse me, with conditions like regular drug testing. He
(53:14):
has to get approval before opening a new bank account,
he has to report all of his earnings. But after
walking out of prison, he said his focus now is
on giving back through community work, helping at risk kids
with education, tech skills and vision care.
Speaker 7 (53:30):
And he's got to repay his crime. Do about five
jingle balls for iHeart Yeah, and a.
Speaker 11 (53:40):
Big day today in Detroit, our brand new mayor Mary
Sheffield has been on the job for just over a week,
but she will be officially sworn in at ten am
at the beautiful Detroit Opera House.
Speaker 7 (53:52):
A second she's been officially on the job, they haven't
sworn her in yet.
Speaker 11 (53:57):
Yeah, So that ceremony is happening normal today, free and
open to the public.
Speaker 6 (54:01):
By the way, if you want to go the Troit

Speaker 3 (54:05):
Well, well the party tonight is not. I guess right, the.
Speaker 11 (54:07):
Part the inaugural ball tonight at the Icon. I think
you had to have a ticket.
Speaker 3 (54:10):
Listen.
Speaker 7 (54:11):
I looked at my check, first check of the year.
I'm like, this check sucks. I'm like, what's going on?
You know, I'm looking at my check. Well, the city
tax is actually taxes.
Speaker 6 (54:24):
There, no joke. I saw that. I looked at my
end of year. So how much that Detroit city tax was?
Speaker 1 (54:30):
I was?
Speaker 21 (54:31):
I was.
Speaker 3 (54:33):
Mayor Sheffield.
Speaker 6 (54:34):
Get rid of it, please, I may.
Speaker 7 (54:36):
I may do six months and a day down in
Florida after this. I'm thinking about it. I go down there.
I can hang out with Jed, Joe and Ashley and stuff.
This is crazy, the taxes we pay. I'm they're gonna
have to beg me to stay in this state and city.
Speaker 10 (54:49):
Shout out my dog, my dog, shout out Janis Winfrey,
city clerk.
Speaker 7 (54:54):
She's also getting it. Is that Oprah's uh sworn in today?
Any relation to Oprah spiritually?
Speaker 6 (55:01):
I'm sure? All right, this is anything from today's show.

Speaker 1 (55:47):
No, not at all.
Speaker 4 (55:48):
Oh my god, I'm so excited.
Speaker 3 (55:51):
I told the visit Florida people. I said to him,
I go listen. You want to make money.
Speaker 7 (55:57):
All you do is put a like a live cam
of what the weather looks like with just the sun
in Florida, and you have the sun shining.
Speaker 6 (56:08):
We haven't seen it in so long, we don't even
know what it is.

Speaker 7 (56:49):
Congrats, congrats you anybody that is listening to us in Toledo.
I do have to forewarn you you're back to just music.
Daniel's car broke down, so go if you're in Toledo.
Although I can't say this because you're not hearing me
on Toledo. Daniel's car broke down. So if you want
to hear us without the music, he's just been running
whatever we got here with music playing, So you can
(57:10):
go to the Mojo in the Morning Show on iHeartRadio's
app using channel ninety five to five in Detroit.
Speaker 6 (57:18):
Can we get at some point today a Daniel update.
We will.
Speaker 7 (57:22):
Let's find let's find out if Triple A got out
there and fixed his car. The guy's axle fell off
literally driving on the street. So his car's on the
side of the road with no axle on it. So
all right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. Shannon thinks
that her husband overreacted. She'll tell the story and then
you judge what's the story.
Speaker 11 (57:40):
So my husband has been in Kentucky and Tennessee all
week on a road trip with my steps on, his
son Kieren, and so yesterday they were driving home and
I had assumed that they were stopping to grab food
for dinner, and I didn't have to worry about them,
but I thought, I'm just gonna double check, so texted
(58:00):
him and you know, said, are you guys getting food?
Do I need to have food ready? We texted for
a minute and I put my phone down and hopped
in the shower. I needed to take a shower. I
just gone to the gym. Well, he kept texting and
I wasn't answering because I was in the shower. He
sent me six text messages, called me four times. Kieran,
(58:25):
my step son, called me because I wasn't answering the
text messages because again I was in the shower, and
then threatened to call somebody to come over to my
house because they were worried about me. So I get
out of the shower and I see that I have
five missed calls and all of these text messages, and
I'm like, you dummy, I was taking a shower.
Speaker 3 (58:45):
That's why I was a showerower.
Speaker 6 (58:48):
So just no, just to my last text was at
six oh seven pm.
Speaker 11 (58:55):
I responded, and then he he texted me, Okay, I
think I'm going to send somebody over.
Speaker 6 (58:59):
This is not normal at six fifteen.
Speaker 3 (59:01):
Oh, it was like ten minutes.
Speaker 11 (59:03):
So eight minutes, minutes, eight minutes. I'm trying to look
at what time their calls came.
Speaker 6 (59:07):
Wait.
Speaker 11 (59:07):
So he but he was so when I said I
was just taking a shower, I'm like, dude, you are overreacting.
I am totally fine, and he was like upset that
that was my reaction because he said, we were legitimately
worried about you.
Speaker 6 (59:23):
We thought you like stroked out or fell and hit
your head or something.
Speaker 3 (59:26):
Have you not been feeling well?
Speaker 6 (59:27):
And that was the gym.
Speaker 3 (59:28):
Oh, I feel okay.
Speaker 7 (59:29):
So it's just so it was a ten minutes of
you just going in the shower for ten minutes and
wasn't responding to a called you back when you must
have gotten in the shower, and I didn't get it because.
Speaker 6 (59:41):
My phone was on the bathroom counter.
Speaker 4 (59:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (59:44):
So here's the thing where he was especially mad because
I'm like, whats it was ten freaking minutes, like you
knew I had just gone to the gym.
Speaker 6 (59:50):
Whatever, I didn't say I was taking a shower, but.
Speaker 11 (59:52):
Like, I don't think it's that big of a deal
that I don't answer your text message. I said, my
my my phone is not attached to my hand, like
do put it down from time to time. And I
think what happened because he goes, well, the messages were
showing up as read, and I said, that's impossible. I
was literally in the shower. I did not have my
phone in the shower with me. And I think because
(01:00:12):
I just put my phone.
Speaker 3 (01:00:13):
Down like this, and you had the text open and
it was open.
Speaker 6 (01:00:16):
As he's texting me, it shows red. So he thinks, I,
you know, passed out and died and was going to
call the police.
Speaker 7 (01:00:23):
Way, if you read it, then wouldn't he assume that
maybe you're just ignoring him and not passed out me.
Speaker 6 (01:00:29):
Even then you don't need which I wasn't.
Speaker 11 (01:00:30):
But even then you don't need to send somebody over.
He was so pissed at me about this because he
thought that I was lessening the severity of this situation
by being like I was taking a shower.
Speaker 7 (01:00:44):
Why are you overreacting so question on this If if
you're on the phone with somebody else and West calls.
Do you hang up the phone with the other person
and pick up his calls? Like, do you guys have
like a thing? No, okay, I'll say, like, hold on
real quick, let me because I.
Speaker 6 (01:00:58):
Know I will call him as soon.
Speaker 3 (01:01:00):
As I get off the phone call and I'm a
text and say I'll call you right back.
Speaker 6 (01:01:02):
Maybe it depends.
Speaker 7 (01:01:04):
Because of this is something Chelsea will get mad at
me if she says that when I call her, she
gets off the phone and grabs my call, and I
won't do it if I'm on the call and I'll
not answer, and she'll say that I'm not, you know, answering.
So now I actually will either say to the person, hey,
(01:01:24):
hang on one second, or I'll call you right back,
or I'll text her and say call you in a minute.
Speaker 11 (01:01:30):
So I'll text if I know I'm going to be
on the phone for a good amount of time, if
I'm on a conference call, or if I'm talking to
a friend and we're you know, in the middle of something,
I will text him and say, hey, i'm talking to Ash,
I'll call you in a minute.
Speaker 6 (01:01:41):
But if I'm just you know, I don't know, is
there anyone you click over for it's not really.
Speaker 11 (01:01:47):
No, oh maybe Smith and Lou I do, okay, because
if they call me, like if they're calling me from
school or they're calling me from their iPad, I assume,
especially if it's not my week to have them, I
like jump the chance.
Speaker 7 (01:02:00):
So you prioritize your kids, Yes, I do, Yes, I do.
What about if your step kids.
Speaker 11 (01:02:09):
They call me something's really wrong and they don't text me,
they never call me?
Speaker 3 (01:02:14):
Yeah, all right, let me ask you this question.
Speaker 6 (01:02:18):
But do you think he overreacted? To say yes and
be on my side.
Speaker 7 (01:02:20):
I'll get to that in a second after I ask
you one more question to make you feel uncomfortable. If
your ex husband calls up, do you grab his call
or do you take West's call?
Speaker 11 (01:02:29):
He can wait, let's go if he can wait, because
you know what, I wait two weeks for him to
call me back.
Speaker 3 (01:02:33):
Do we think do we think that Shannon's husband overreacted?
Speaker 6 (01:02:36):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (01:02:36):
Okay, eight minutes maybe?
Speaker 6 (01:02:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:02:39):
But his son, his son, was his son that worried too?
Was herring that worry too?
Speaker 6 (01:02:44):
Or did his worried?
Speaker 3 (01:02:45):
Did his dad make him worse?
Speaker 11 (01:02:46):
Dad made him worried? Tried calling you? Hey, never mind?
Why aren't you answering? You are being weird? Okay, now
I'm legitimately worried.
Speaker 6 (01:02:53):
Shean, what is going on? All right, I'm going to
send somebody over. This is not normal. What were they
doing driving?
Speaker 7 (01:03:00):
What was your last conversation? Like, did you guys have
a have a kind of a tougher con because maybe
I thought you were mad at.
Speaker 6 (01:03:06):
Him or something.
Speaker 11 (01:03:07):
Literally, I said, hey, are you guys stopping to grab
dinner on the way home or do you want me
to make something for you? And he said no, we're
driving through Kiaran might want something, though, I'm totally fine,
And I said, okay, I bought salmon.
Speaker 6 (01:03:18):
I only bought two pieces.
Speaker 11 (01:03:20):
I'll make the salmon for you guys, I will have
cereal And he said no, Kieren will eat the salmon,
you eat the other one. I'm fine And I said nope,
And then I put my phone down and got in
the shower, like, nope, I want to make it for you.
Speaker 6 (01:03:32):
Totally normal combo, I'll say, yeah, I had a salmon,
I'm gonna have a cereal. Pick up that phone.
Speaker 13 (01:03:41):
Love cereal though cinnamons crunch.
Speaker 6 (01:03:43):
I would have been living my best life.
Speaker 3 (01:03:45):
Lesson, I'm fine, all right, uh Lydia, will you do
me a favor.
Speaker 7 (01:03:48):
I'm gonna I'm gonna open I was actually cooking. I'm
gonna open up the phone lines. I want to do
couple's Court right now, and I want to ask the
listeners who do they side with on this one? Do
you side with Shannon or do you side with her husband?
Wes eight four four Mojo Live eight four four six
six five six five four eight is our telephone number
(01:04:10):
to call in? Was it an overreaction or is this
just a sweet husband caring Christine your thoughts?
Speaker 3 (01:04:20):
Couple's Court? Who are you siding with?
Speaker 16 (01:04:23):
I don't know if I'm.
Speaker 29 (01:04:24):
Siding with either one, but I think she hanon for
a text and said, hey, I'm hopping in the shower
because when I also.
Speaker 7 (01:04:32):
Warned, yes, pre warn him. Then he'll be even more
worried when you don't answer the call, because I think
that you slipped and fell. That's that's interesting.
Speaker 6 (01:04:41):
You know what's gonna happen.
Speaker 11 (01:04:43):
I'm gonna slip fall in the shower tomorrow. Nobody's going
to be home, and he's going to come home and
find me, and.
Speaker 7 (01:04:51):
Then then it will be like the Hackman family. Kevin
brought up, what's going on? How you doing Rosie? Rosie,
Rosie Rosie? Are you okay?
Speaker 3 (01:05:05):
Okay, what's going on? Who are you siding with?
Speaker 6 (01:05:07):
Rosie?
Speaker 15 (01:05:08):
I'm siding with Shannon.
Speaker 13 (01:05:10):
Okay, yeah, that's definitely crazy.
Speaker 7 (01:05:13):
All right, all right, so side and everything. Shannon uh
is not in the wrong on this one. Here at
eight minutes, all she did was take a shower.
Speaker 6 (01:05:23):
Men take longer poops. Then I shower.
Speaker 3 (01:05:28):
Listener, Shannon, Hello, Shannon.
Speaker 26 (01:05:30):
Hello.
Speaker 29 (01:05:31):
I'm sighting with Shannon because I have been the psycho
x that is texted and then later realize I overreacted,
so I sided with Shannon.
Speaker 11 (01:05:41):
I am not calling my husband psycho, by the way,
I am just.
Speaker 26 (01:05:44):
Saying psycho, but I was.
Speaker 16 (01:05:49):
I overreacted.
Speaker 11 (01:05:50):
Then I felt bad because then I said, you need
to chill out. I just got a shower, blah blah blah.
And he's like, you would have done the same thing.
Just know you are so loved and that you scared us.
I know you didn't mean to scare us, but we
were very worried.
Speaker 7 (01:06:02):
Why is he texting this not just telling me this
on the phone. By the way, here's what I'm not
siding with wesn he texts and drives.
Speaker 6 (01:06:10):
Not hearing Karen was driving. Okay, all right, what's up Doane?
Speaker 8 (01:06:14):
Hello?
Speaker 6 (01:06:14):
Doane?
Speaker 16 (01:06:18):
Is it Coreen?
Speaker 8 (01:06:19):
Sure?
Speaker 3 (01:06:20):
If that's your name, go ahead, Correen.
Speaker 18 (01:06:24):
H good morning everyone.
Speaker 26 (01:06:25):
Morning.
Speaker 18 (01:06:27):
So I guess I'm I'm siding a little bit more
with Wes. I guess, okay, sorry, Shannon, But I think
it's coming more from like a personal experience.
Speaker 29 (01:06:37):
I guess.
Speaker 18 (01:06:39):
So I had an experience where I called somebody and
they didn't answer because they were actually gone.
Speaker 3 (01:06:45):
See you could have been gone.
Speaker 8 (01:06:49):
No they yeah, unfortunately my dad.
Speaker 18 (01:06:55):
Yeah, sorry to bring the vibe down. But so it's
just I developed this like horrible PTSD. When someone doesn't call,
I freak out, even if.
Speaker 10 (01:07:06):
It is in a few minutes.
Speaker 18 (01:07:07):
And I mean not to say, like eight minutes is
a little short. I've expanded at least my range.
Speaker 7 (01:07:15):
But well, we all know Shannon's got her phone right
attached to her hip. So it's like, come on, right,
did he shower?
Speaker 3 (01:07:22):
Think?
Speaker 4 (01:07:23):
What was that?
Speaker 6 (01:07:24):
Did he dine in the shower?
Speaker 18 (01:07:26):
Oh no, he did it and in like the bathroom,
I guess, oh no.
Speaker 7 (01:07:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 18 (01:07:34):
So anyway, so so I think I just just talked
to him, Shannon, I wonder if maybe there is a
situation in the past where he called and someone didn't
answer and it was you know, I think it's more about, Hey,
if you're going to hop in the shower and we
were talking, you let me know. Maybe it's just a
communication thing.
Speaker 4 (01:07:51):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (01:07:53):
I don't know Wes's family story, but it could have
been that a loved one passed after a test.
Speaker 10 (01:07:57):
I don't want to live in a world I can't
just hop in the shower without telling my person. Ay,
just so you know, I'm not going to answer for
the next ten to fifteen Yeah, uh, Lena, what did
you want to say?
Speaker 35 (01:08:12):
Hey, guys, Shannon, I love you and I would normally
love to side with you.
Speaker 6 (01:08:16):
I don't even think everything.
Speaker 26 (01:08:19):
No, it's the electronic communication over sin.
Speaker 33 (01:08:23):
He read that line about you eating cereal, yes, and
then he took the work Nope and thought, oh, it's
absolutely she's mad.
Speaker 3 (01:08:30):
Now, he thought, well, he thought that she was choking
on her cereal.
Speaker 18 (01:08:33):
Maybe something that could be too Yes, that cinnamon toast
crunch death.
Speaker 16 (01:08:37):
How am I going to write the obituary right?
Speaker 3 (01:08:39):
Exactly? Hold on, Adam, Adam, you're also with Wes on
this one.
Speaker 19 (01:08:45):
Yeah, I think the same thing.
Speaker 6 (01:08:46):
He's like, oh great, now I'm in trouble.
Speaker 7 (01:08:48):
Yeah, okay, So maybe it wasn't he was worried about her.
He just thought that Shannon was mad at him, and
he did not want an angry jam.
Speaker 6 (01:08:55):
I was the one making the dinner.
Speaker 13 (01:08:56):
How could it be?
Speaker 3 (01:08:58):
I will it you want, bitch, that's what you get?
Speaker 4 (01:09:00):
All right?
Speaker 6 (01:09:02):
Thank you?
Speaker 3 (01:09:02):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:09:03):
All right?
Speaker 3 (01:09:04):
Uh tell us more about you in the shower, Shanon.
It's the nicest four letter words you'll say today. This
is Mojo in the morning. All right, it's Mojo in
the morning. Now.
Speaker 7 (01:09:16):
Lydia posed the idea to me. Do you think that
this is a good idea to do this topic at
this time? And I said, who's the topic with? She
goes Kevin.
Speaker 6 (01:09:23):
I go no, but we have kids in the car.
Speaker 7 (01:09:26):
And Kevin promised he's going to keep it clean because
Kevin wants to talk about something.
Speaker 3 (01:09:31):
And what is it that you want to talk about? Master?
Speaker 5 (01:09:34):
B you so bad?
Speaker 6 (01:09:41):
Now it's going to be clean from here on.
Speaker 4 (01:09:43):
Illegal.
Speaker 5 (01:09:44):
It's frowned upon, like masturbating on an airplane.
Speaker 10 (01:09:47):
So Josiah's twelve years old, and although he in my
eyes hasn't expressed yearning for any type of physical touch
from the other sex, which he's articulated that he's interested in.
That's why I say that he's articulated that he's interested
He I don't know when to have the talk or
(01:10:09):
when to have the conversation around that.
Speaker 6 (01:10:11):
The masturbation sex talk. Well, I mean I feel.
Speaker 3 (01:10:16):
I feel like that startspated.
Speaker 10 (01:10:19):
Yeah, I feel like the master starts before the actual
sex talk and with you know, when I was younger,
I didn't have as many avenues of internet and technology
that these kids have these days, so my brain probably
wasn't on that as soon as his brain probably could
be based on the things that he's consuming.
Speaker 3 (01:10:36):
You haven't had the talk with your son and he's
in middle school? What seventh grade? Yeah? I think you
have to have the talk by at least now, Really,
I really do.
Speaker 17 (01:10:45):
Is that what you have?
Speaker 7 (01:10:46):
I know we got parents in cars and with their kids,
and I don't want to like go crazy, but maybe
your kids can help with this one.
Speaker 6 (01:10:52):
What age do you have the talk?
Speaker 16 (01:10:54):
Like?
Speaker 7 (01:10:54):
I feel like you can't wait till they're in high school?
But first off, do you know how right you know?
Kids explore themselves. You know, probably I would think a
couple three years before this. Now Josiah is aware obviously
he knows how he got here. He we've had those
type of conversations, like he's aware of things like that.
(01:11:14):
But I mean, like a legitimate sit down, this is
what happens, this is where things go, like like all
of that type of conversation.
Speaker 3 (01:11:23):
I think that your conversation doesn't have to be all
of that.
Speaker 7 (01:11:26):
I think your conversation is about safety and about don't
feel bad about your body and all that stuff you're
gonna you know, but can I be honest? No, can
I be honest? You don't need me, and you definitely
don't need you talking about why I know you, you'd
be like, let me put some music on here.
Speaker 4 (01:11:43):
You know.
Speaker 10 (01:11:44):
Even what you just said, though, was like extremely helpful
because I didn't even think about of course I thought
about the safety, but like, don't be ashamed of your
like that never even crossed my mind even say.
Speaker 13 (01:11:53):
Yeah, like those are normal feelings.
Speaker 7 (01:11:55):
I think that one of the biggest things we don't
want is we don't want to feel either bad about ourself,
shame about ourselves, or shame about our thoughts and things
that come up too, Like I think that there's a
level of if you do that, it makes it you
more repressed.
Speaker 16 (01:12:12):
You know.
Speaker 7 (01:12:12):
I never had to talk, and I don't know if
that was a good thing or a bad thing. I
don't think sometimes you need it, Like I never got
to talk either. But my older brother, I think when
I was going into high school, I was going to
hang out with a bunch of girls, and he knew that.
Speaker 3 (01:12:28):
He was just like, do you you know, are you active?
And I go active? What do you mean, Like I've
run around.
Speaker 6 (01:12:34):
I didn't know what that meant.
Speaker 7 (01:12:36):
And then he basically said to me, he goes, if
you ever get with any girls, you got to make sure,
you know, you have protection and stuff like that. And
I'm like, oh man, you know and he was like, hey,
I've got him in my room, Like he told me
about that whole thing.
Speaker 3 (01:12:47):
But what's up, mickey, Hey, good morning.
Speaker 16 (01:12:52):
I had to talk with my daughter when she was ten,
and I could have had it sooner. Honestly, I think
it's smart to do it younger rather than to wait.
Speaker 17 (01:13:02):
Well.
Speaker 11 (01:13:02):
They also learn in school. I know for Lucy it
was fourth and fifth grade. They start to learn about
their bodies and hygiene and their bodies changing. And then
this year, I think they in sixth grade, they take
it like a little bit of a step further so
that it really is age appropriate. Like I think some
people hear ten and are going, oh my god, no way,
But that's when they're learning about it.
Speaker 3 (01:13:22):
In our school, we had only one male that was anywhere.
Speaker 7 (01:13:26):
It was the janitor, and so when we were so
when we had health class, they were gonna for the
boys bring the janitor in, and thank god one of
the dads who is a doctor, volunteered and did the
health version of that. But how weird would it be
to have your janitor with all the keys dangling like
doing it mister Ferris giving us the sex talk?
Speaker 3 (01:13:48):
What's up, Brianna?
Speaker 6 (01:13:48):
How you doing.
Speaker 12 (01:13:51):
Good?
Speaker 23 (01:13:51):
How are you guys good?
Speaker 6 (01:13:52):
What's going on?
Speaker 13 (01:13:54):
Okay?
Speaker 27 (01:13:55):
So kind of have a question for you when you
were in school growing up, because I feel like we're
a run age. I'm thirty, so I was born in
ninety five. They did the videos in fourth and fifth
grade for opposite So didn't you.
Speaker 33 (01:14:06):
Do that too?
Speaker 10 (01:14:07):
I don't think we did videos. I don't like literally,
and I'm a very forgetful person. I don't remember ever
having like even a sex it. Maybe I was just
playing around in high school and just didn't even pay attention,
but definitely not in middle school. I don't think we
ever brought up sex. And if it did, it was
glossed over. It wasn't like a real conversation. It was
(01:14:28):
just a box they had to check see.
Speaker 7 (01:14:31):
They I remember that we even got partying gifts, like literally,
wait a second, I do remember.
Speaker 6 (01:14:36):
In the eighth grade.
Speaker 10 (01:14:37):
Okay, maybe this is in eighth this is more of
a deterrent or this is what you can expect should
you not use contraceptives. In eighth grade, they gave us
all like this fake baby with like a wristband, and
the baby had a hole in the back, and if
the baby cried or something, you put the wristband in
the back and you had to carry it around for
a weekend, and it was like your baby. It woke
(01:14:58):
up at any time of the morning. You had to
change the diapers. Like that was kind of this is
what it feels like you have a baby. But we
never had like a sex talk. Honestly, the only thing
I remember from school was the sex talk. As weird
does it sounds. You know, it's not shock me that
was that was like the only one. It was missus
Lens teaching it.
Speaker 7 (01:15:18):
And then one of our you know kids from school's
dad doing it too, But it was it was interesting.
And then the thing that you were talking about we
had to have we had to carry a bag of
rice around.
Speaker 6 (01:15:29):
I had a bag of flower I had a white baby.
Speaker 3 (01:15:31):
You had a white bag of white babies. That's what
I call what's up?
Speaker 4 (01:15:36):
D D.
Speaker 6 (01:15:38):
Hey everyone, good morning, Good morning.
Speaker 39 (01:15:42):
So I have two daughters. They are both older. One
is sixteen and one is now twenty one. It is
a very touchy kind of some maybe uncomfortable conversation. But
one thing that I would say that was most important
to me was I wanted to make sure that they
had the most accurate information before their peers.
Speaker 6 (01:16:04):
Gave them the wrong and right.
Speaker 18 (01:16:05):
Yeah, because not everyone.
Speaker 22 (01:16:08):
Has that talk.
Speaker 39 (01:16:10):
Sometimes kids hear certain things and then they elaborated differently,
and now your kid is uninformed and doesn't get to
make an informed decision for themselves. So my most important
advice is to like, for my girls, I've always made
sure that I was very open that it was something
that they wanted to do. That they were protected and
it was their choice.
Speaker 7 (01:16:27):
It's funny you talking about that, and I'm all I'm
thinking about is that for boys, But for girls you
have to worry about it too.
Speaker 3 (01:16:32):
You have to worry about the girls talking about it
with the other girls.
Speaker 6 (01:16:36):
Oh, for sure, for sure.
Speaker 39 (01:16:38):
My oldest daughter actually what started to talk for her
was that she came home and told me a discussion
that some girls had at.
Speaker 6 (01:16:46):
School, and she was like, what are they even talking about?
Speaker 3 (01:16:48):
And I was like, oh lord, was it about that
I'm already being active or being sexually?
Speaker 6 (01:16:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 39 (01:16:57):
Interesting, yes, And it was about Joe's aged, but they
believe it or not. Even though our kids are, you know,
innocent and great kids, Like there's a lot of kids unfortunately,
for whatever reason, you know, do things a little bit earlier,
and so you can't you can't stop that part of it,
you know what I mean? And even thinking about it,
(01:17:17):
you know, like, I'm gonna be very honest. My one
daughter of that's twenty one, Like once she did start,
you know, those sort of interactions, she was very open
with me and so that created a very good, you know,
like a much better relationship. I was able to make sure,
you know, that after she did experience it her first time,
you know that it was something that she wanted and
that she was comfortable about her you know, her decision
(01:17:39):
and made sure that she was okay with it.
Speaker 3 (01:17:42):
Yeah, it's interesting.
Speaker 7 (01:17:43):
I coached middle school basketball, and one of the teams
I coached, I think every kid on that team, i'd
get warnings from the school, like he got caught today
in the gym with a girl. I mean, like, oh my,
all those kids. If you don't think that these kids
are already making the moves and doing things, they're doing
it even probably younger than middle school. I mean I
think that, Yeah, Katie there, Yeah, I'm here, what's going on?
Speaker 36 (01:18:09):
So I also have a twelve year old son and
recently caught him, you know, touching himself.
Speaker 3 (01:18:17):
Oh no, but no kid wants that. No boy wants
to have mom catching them doing that, you know.
Speaker 36 (01:18:24):
And at first I told my husband, I said, you're
gonna have to go and talk to him, because you know,
I I don't know anything you know about that with boys.
And you know, we sat him down and said, you know,
it's okay to explore your body, but don't go beyond that,
and don't go looking for anything online to.
Speaker 6 (01:18:41):
Help you with that?
Speaker 3 (01:18:42):
Would you do? Did you walk in the room without knocking?
Speaker 36 (01:18:46):
Yeah?
Speaker 13 (01:18:46):
Well he had the door cracked and I was looking
for him.
Speaker 6 (01:18:49):
So I walked back to the room and opened the
door and I what did what did you do? Did
you scream?
Speaker 16 (01:18:55):
I just I just closed the door and turned around.
Speaker 6 (01:18:58):
And what did he do? Did he scream?
Speaker 17 (01:19:00):
Together?
Speaker 16 (01:19:01):
No?
Speaker 6 (01:19:01):
He just threw the blanket over himself.
Speaker 3 (01:19:03):
How awkward was the dinner conversation that night?
Speaker 13 (01:19:08):
So awkward?
Speaker 28 (01:19:08):
Well?
Speaker 7 (01:19:08):
I was.
Speaker 36 (01:19:09):
I wanted to tell my husband and he kind of
acted that and I was like, it's okay for him
to explore I mean his body.
Speaker 3 (01:19:15):
What did you have for dinner that night?
Speaker 6 (01:19:17):
Did everything just look like.
Speaker 3 (01:19:24):
Alison? What's up?
Speaker 6 (01:19:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 13 (01:19:27):
So it's kind of embarrassing. But like I was seeing
a sent in the text, I.
Speaker 6 (01:19:33):
Never my mom never had that talk with me.
Speaker 21 (01:19:36):
And I have a sixteen year old boy and a
six year old boy, so it's like, how do I
have that talk if the talk was.
Speaker 6 (01:19:43):
Never had with me? H?
Speaker 3 (01:19:45):
Is there a father in their lives?
Speaker 4 (01:19:49):

Detroit Red Wings. He shot his career five hundredth goal
during last night's game.
Speaker 6 (01:23:19):
Or five track Cane show time.
Speaker 7 (01:23:25):
Fuck two goals last night to get to five hundred.
That was amazing and an empty netter there. I wonder
if there was a little bit of shenanigans on that it.
Speaker 11 (01:23:32):
Becomes the fiftieth NHL player to achieve that record.
Speaker 19 (01:23:35):
By the way, I looked back at a few years ago,
but I didn't know if I was going to play again,
and you know, had to have Surgerty to.
Speaker 5 (01:23:45):
Come back that not many players came back from.
Speaker 11 (01:23:47):
It was really his five year old son, Patrick Kane,
the third who stole the show last night.
Speaker 6 (01:23:52):
Though don't really can all be fine?
Speaker 14 (01:23:58):
Six hundred goals?
Speaker 7 (01:24:03):
That's got to be so cool as Patrick's able to
share this with his son. You know what I mean this,
I mean, kid, dads don't get five hundred goals every day.
Speaker 6 (01:24:14):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (01:24:15):
Your dad's a special guy.
Speaker 7 (01:24:17):
And to know that, you know, this guy did some
amazing stuff with you know, the Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks
at the time. You can tell that the guys love
them too. I loved if you go to their instagram
you can look at the Detroit Red Wings. I loved
seeing Dylan Larkin present him with the puck and seeing
everybody on the team, including the management and all that stuff,
wearing the five hundred T shirt too.
Speaker 10 (01:24:38):
At the end of the dirty can we do an
update on Daniel? Many people are saying there's another radio
station that's playing on Kiss FM, so oh really, okay, all.
Speaker 11 (01:24:46):
Right, Oh jeez, okaya.
Speaker 7 (01:24:49):
Is there anybody else in Toledo other than Daniel that
can go and get Maybe we don't, Maybe we don't
fire the entire staffs of of of stations, so that
we at least have a backup for when somebody is
sick or in this case, Daniel's car broke.
Speaker 6 (01:25:06):
You know who's watch? You know who?
Speaker 3 (01:25:09):
This wouldn't have happened under their watch. Who's what's my
man name? I love Scott Sands?
Speaker 6 (01:25:17):
It was one of my favorites and other Detroit sports
dirty this morning.
Speaker 11 (01:25:20):
Some takeaways from Detroit Lions GM Brad Holmes's end of
season press conference yesterday. He did admit there were mistakes,
lots of them made throughout the season. He didn't really
sit and give specifics there, but he said we all
just need to be very patient with the Lions young
offensive line. Frank Ragnow talked about him, said the team
has not been in contact with Ragnow about a potential return.
(01:25:43):
Updates on David Montgomery and kind of alluded to the
fact that he's not going to be He's not going
to be hanging around. Said the team loves him, but
he also understands that he made just gel better in
a different situation where he can be featured more.
Speaker 1 (01:25:58):
So.
Speaker 11 (01:25:58):
That was that and also this morning, breaking in the
wake of the Miami Dolphins firing head coach Mike McDaniel.
We're hearing a rumor that the Lions have already reached
out to him about their wore.
Speaker 37 (01:26:12):
I like it.
Speaker 3 (01:26:13):
He's in an offensive genius.
Speaker 7 (01:26:15):
I do think though, that he's going to get head
coaching looks because he's still a pretty good coach. He
just didn't have the quarterback and didn't have the team there.
But I will tell you if that, you know, he's
the reason why Matthew Stafford was able to win his
very first I believe wasn't he the wasn't he the offensive.
Speaker 6 (01:26:31):
Coordinator for the Yeah, he came.
Speaker 7 (01:26:34):
He came from Sean mcvay's rams. Nah, I'm I'll put you.
I'll put one hundred dollars on it right now. I'm
going to google it.
Speaker 6 (01:26:41):
I want to put it.
Speaker 3 (01:26:42):
He was already the Dolphins head coach though at that time.
Speaker 10 (01:26:45):
He's a part of that Sean McVay Kyle Shanahan grouping.
But I don't think he was the offensive coordinator. I'll
check though, all right, ladies.
Speaker 11 (01:26:55):
Hayley Bieber's road lippeptide treatment the lip Boss.
Speaker 7 (01:27:01):
The Internet.
Speaker 11 (01:27:02):
Social media is filled with women posting pictures of how
it messed up their lips really bad, like bubbly blistery
infections that didn't go away for months. The product and
I experienced this is really It gets really smelly after
a while, it oozes a green liquid. After a few uses,
(01:27:23):
the consistency changes and becomes grainy. I don't know what's
going on with it, but lots of women are posting
about how it's been causing redness, flaking, swelling, blistering. So
if you've experienced that or yours just stinks, remember were
you in the studio and I had it for two
of mine away. I don't know what's going on, but
just buyer beware.
Speaker 10 (01:27:42):
There update Mike McDaniel was not on the Los Angeles
Rams at that time. He was the run game coordinator
for the San Francisco forty nine ers at that time.
You lost, but we didn't bet, so I just get
to say you lost.
Speaker 7 (01:27:55):
I owed by. I owe Zach though five dollars. He
came in this morning asked, Zach, you have changed. You
have changed for a one thousand dollars bill Monopoly.
Speaker 6 (01:28:08):
Lastly, the bear is finally gone.
Speaker 11 (01:28:12):
The Bear show no after living under a man's house
in southern California for more than a month, a huge
five hundred and fifty pound black bear finally packed up
and left, ending a nightmare for this homeowner. This is
a crazy story that's gone viral overnight. This bear had
(01:28:32):
been crawling into the space under this house in Altadena
through an opening in the foundation and he just like
got really cozy under there and made it his home.
The homeowner only figured it out after hearing noises and
setting up cameras and nothing worked to get this bear out.
Speaker 6 (01:28:47):
Of his little cozy space.
Speaker 11 (01:28:49):
Loud lights, lights or loud sounds, lights, attempts to scare
it off. It got so bad that the homeowner had
to complain to wildlife officials who really weren't helping at all,
So he eventually contacted a team out of Lake Tahoe.
Speaker 6 (01:29:05):
A bear eviction team was brought in.
Speaker 11 (01:29:08):
Used paintball guns to help get this bear out and
then sealed the hole so he couldn't come back home.
Speaker 13 (01:29:16):
There's pictures of him trying to get back in after
It's it's sad, but now.
Speaker 11 (01:29:21):
The home and I was like, oh my god, he
knows this is his home, right, God forbid, he doesn't
come crashing through a door or a window.
Speaker 6 (01:29:27):
The thing's five and fifty pounds.
Speaker 13 (01:29:30):
He's a big boy.
Speaker 10 (01:29:32):
A great story, they say when it comes to bears.
If his black fight back, his row laid on.

the Morning on Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, TikTok. We're there on
all of them so you can listen live. Actually, I
(01:42:39):
like the color I'm wearing today. I'm looking at it
right now.
Speaker 6 (01:42:42):
I've never seen ever.
Speaker 3 (01:42:44):
I don't know if you'd call it a blue green,
that would be that was a deep deal, is it?
It's a teal.
Speaker 7 (01:42:50):
I'm wearing teal in honor of my wife and and
uh ovarian cancer. So no, this this gets a little
frustrating because we have a little technical stuff. But the
beauty is that you can get us somewhere, Okay, so
go check it out. You may have to get back.
In the old days, they used to have two tin
(01:43:11):
cans and a string in between, and that's pretty much what.
Speaker 6 (01:43:14):
We're on right now.
Speaker 3 (01:43:15):
We're on a shoe string right now, so hopefully you
can hear this Mojo in the morning show.
Speaker 41 (01:43:20):
Can I make a suggestion, Mojo, Yes, uh Lydia, go ahead,
going back to the iHeart app. You can preset us.
But I do recommend presetting us on all the stations
that we're on. Yes, So if one doesn't work for
you and you love the iHeart app, of course you
can switch over to the next.
Speaker 13 (01:43:33):
Great wreck Lydia.
Speaker 14 (01:43:34):
Thanks Sanna.
Speaker 7 (01:43:36):
That's the smartest thing I've ever heard anyone say about anything.
Love it all right, So please do not miss out
on this radio program, because if you do, we will die,
all right, Mojo on the Morning Show. So full disclosure,
I've had a little bout of insomnia. And if you've
(01:43:57):
never had insomnia, because I never had it until recently,
it sucks. There's nothing worse than everybody in the world
sleeping but you. And when you have insomnia and it
gets to a point that you cannot fall asleep and
you're just staring at the ceiling fan, or in my case,
(01:44:17):
watching endless hours of Dateline NBC on the Dateline channel
on Exfinity, it's awful. So needless to say, I have
found myself going through every episode of Dateline and seeing
my ceiling fan too closely. So I've decided now that
I'm gonna do what everybody else does. I'm gonna get
on TikTok. And so I got on TikTok and guess
(01:44:41):
what I got out of it? A topic of what
happened to me? And I'm gonna tell you what. Right now,
I was on TikTok with a bit of insomnia and
I could not get to bed. And then I finally,
through countless hours of scrolling and going through and watching
stupid tiktoks, some of them I'm not so stupid.
Speaker 6 (01:45:01):
I shared a bunch with people.
Speaker 7 (01:45:02):
Maybe you guys were some of the people I've shared
it with, although I do feel weird in the middle
of the night when you guys are nice, warm and
cozy in your bed and your phone goes ding ding ding,
and I'm sending you guys things. I found myself falling
asleep on TikTok. And have you ever had this happen
to you where you fell asleep on whatever you could
have been, just on your phone in general, and you
(01:45:25):
wake up in the morning only to find out that
your algorithm is weird. Because I fell asleep watching tiktoks
of Michael Jordan versus Lebron and woke up to pregnant
women bellies, and I woke up to me liking and
(01:45:49):
in becoming friends and following people I don't even know
on TikTok.
Speaker 6 (01:45:53):
People think you of a fetish noll. I think I might.
Speaker 7 (01:45:56):
Well, first off, they know they are people I don't know,
so I don't know what's the deal is. There's for
some reason, there's a bunch of randoms, so it's not that.
And then it's out of the blue, I'm starting to
like follow people on TikTok, and it's what happened was
I fell asleep and I think I rolled over in
my bed on the phone a few times and the
phone never goes it never shut down at the battery
life on this thing is unbelievable. That's a great commercial
(01:46:19):
for you know, iPhone. But have you ever had this
happen to you where you fell asleep at night only
to wake up to something strange you posted the next morning,
or a text or something.
Speaker 15 (01:46:31):
I haven't done the social media falling asleep, but I
have been shopping on Amazon before bed and I wake
up and I'm like, oh crap, I ordered like three
different things that I don't even remember ordering because I
was half asleep.
Speaker 6 (01:46:45):
I've done that. I've done it.
Speaker 7 (01:46:46):
Thank god I didn't order it. And when it's in
my cart, I looked at my card afterwards, I'm like,
why do I have in my cart? Like I had
a slinky in there was sleep shop a toy slinky,
Like where did.
Speaker 3 (01:46:56):
That come from?
Speaker 7 (01:46:57):
But yeah, sleep shopping is a thing. Eight four four
Mojo Live eight four four six sixty five six' five four. Eighth,
also did you ever have this happen to you where
you go to bed and you send something to somebody
and the next morning you woke up to them, going
is everything?
Speaker 3 (01:47:12):
Okay or you woke up to like A dm of
somebody going who are?
Speaker 5 (01:47:16):
You you?
Speaker 3 (01:47:17):
Know usually alcohol that does?
Speaker 16 (01:47:19):
That does?
Speaker 1 (01:47:20):
It?
Speaker 20 (01:47:20):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (01:47:20):
Drunk? Tiktoking?
Speaker 4 (01:47:22):
Right?
Speaker 6 (01:47:23):
Nah just drunk or? Scrolling you've even said something you
really want to?
Speaker 3 (01:47:27):
Say have you ever wanted to say something to any
of us when you're drunk at?
Speaker 4 (01:47:31):
All?
Speaker 3 (01:47:31):
No oh, Okay so it's just girls that you're on
a thing like probably somebody, story they look.
Speaker 10 (01:47:36):
Good i'm kind of you, know whether it's the storm
of temptation and haven't said anything up until that.
Speaker 7 (01:47:41):
Point do you wake up the next morning and read
your dms and then go back and look at the
girl you sent it?
Speaker 16 (01:47:46):
To?
Speaker 10 (01:47:46):
Him, go, no, no, no it's only. SOMEBODY i feel
LIKE i should have said something, beforehand, Okay and Then
i'm not mad at it because it's, like finally y'all
got it.
Speaker 3 (01:47:53):
Up they actually say what is?
Speaker 18 (01:47:55):

Speaker 7 (01:47:55):

Okay so there was this man THAT i met WHEN
i first moved To, detroit probably around five years.
Speaker 6 (01:56:28):
Ago and you say a.
Speaker 3 (01:56:29):
Man that makes it sound like he's like an older.
Speaker 6 (01:56:32):
Man he's a.
Speaker 13 (01:56:32):
Man he is older than. Me he's like thirty.
Speaker 3 (01:56:34):
Five Ok is that a?
Speaker 6 (01:56:36):
Man he's not a? Boy SHOULD i say?
Speaker 25 (01:56:38):
Guy all?
Speaker 15 (01:56:39):
Right so there was this guy THAT i met WHEN
i first moved here five years, ago and we started
AM i allowed to say hooking.
Speaker 13 (01:56:46):
Up, yeah we started.
Speaker 3 (01:56:48):
Hooking that's way cleaner than, Anything.
Speaker 15 (01:56:50):
Kevin we started hooking, up baking, cookies basically like friends
with benefits. Situation and throughout those four YEARS i had
gotten Very we had gotten very close because we were
spending a lot of time. Together it was never anything,
public but you, KNOW i would go over to his,
apartment hang. Out we would do whatever we would, do
(01:57:11):
AND i would confide in him about a lot of
things and he would do the same to.
Speaker 13 (01:57:14):
Me so it really was a good.
Speaker 15 (01:57:15):
Friendship it got to the point WHERE i had started
to develop, feelings probably about a year, ago and because of,
THAT i told. HIM i was, LIKE i, think like
we need to stop this BECAUSE i either wanted to
become something more OR i don't want anything at, all
BECAUSE i am taking dating. Seriously and he put up
a little bit of a, fight but he was respectful of.
(01:57:38):
It SO i had not seen him in maybe six.
Months THEN i went To mexico with The. Pistons he was, There,
oh this is Your, situationsiah this is THE a was
there and that sort of sparked. Conversation, again let me be,
clear we have not hooked, up but he would start
texting me after The pistons. Thing we are also, neighbors
(01:58:00):
SO i run into him frequently and we've just been communicating.
Speaker 23 (01:58:04):
More.
Speaker 15 (01:58:04):
WELL i saw him this week and we were communicating,
again and he is of the belief that we could
be friends and still hang out with each other and
just not hook. Up BECAUSE i, said that's WHERE i
draw the, line, Like i'm not hooking up with you
unless like you are my.
Speaker 13 (01:58:20):
MAN i feel the exact.
Speaker 15 (01:58:22):
OPPOSITE i don't think, yeah Because i'm the one who wants, more,
okay and he does. Not, well we hung out last
night and we did not hook, up but he was,
trying SO i had to leave. Early wait, OKAY i was,
LIKE i don't, this this is WHAT i told YOU
i don't want so.
Speaker 3 (01:58:42):
He broke his. RULE i know we can hang out and,
okay so a couple couple of.
Speaker 7 (01:58:46):
Things is it hard because If i'm like, tempted you
know WHAT i, Mean, LIKE i would probably have a
hard time with.
Speaker 3 (01:58:53):
It was it hard for you to say?
Speaker 15 (01:58:54):
No, well, yeah of, course BUT i KNOW i think
going like the past year without, It Like i'm just, like,
OKAY i, know. No, yeah so it was, hard BUT
i didn't let it, happen AND i do miss his,
friendship so, like pardon, me wants to, try BUT i
think THAT i will get emotionally invested.
Speaker 6 (01:59:11):
Again, yeah so.
Speaker 3 (01:59:14):
You're how soon into the evening with him did he
start trying to?
Speaker 13 (01:59:18):
Help like the end of.
Speaker 15 (01:59:20):
It we actually hung out two days in a. Row
the first day he didn't he didn't do, anything SO
i was, Like, okay this is, cool like we're just
getting food and hang. Out and then it was the
second day where he was like what it was it
that you?
Speaker 5 (01:59:31):
Think?
Speaker 3 (01:59:32):
What what do you think changed him on that? Time
two days of hanging, out you guys have a couple
of drinks or something like.
Speaker 5 (01:59:37):
That.
Speaker 13 (01:59:38):
SOMETHING i just think that he just thinks it could.
Speaker 3 (01:59:41):
Happen it can.
Speaker 13 (01:59:42):
HAPPEN i just thought he just had that in the.
Speaker 11 (01:59:44):
BACK i, say good for you for stating your, ground
because if you, didn't you would just be prolonging the.
Inevitable it doesn't sound like he wants anything more than
just you, know hang out and hook up and that's, it.
Speaker 3 (01:59:55):
And you have no. Problem you have no problem with
just shutting the relationship.
Speaker 13 (02:00:01):
Off if that's the, case is him a Little, yeah
not only DO i miss, him but LIKE i see
him all the. Time we're.
Speaker 3 (02:00:07):
Neighbors how weird is it going to be the next?
Speaker 6 (02:00:09):
Time So emily In? Paris do not mention the.
Speaker 13 (02:00:14):
Business but next week we have a meeting with a.
Business oh he works?
Speaker 3 (02:00:17):

Speaker 22 (02:00:19):
Him?
Speaker 13 (02:00:19):
Yes he is the one that we're having a meeting.
With has connected me with the person that we are Talking.
Speaker 3 (02:00:25):
What if he's what if while we're hanging out he
tries to hook up with you?
Speaker 6 (02:00:28):
There then is he going to be there? Too, yeah
he's going to BE i can't. Wait i'm. Excited, no
watch him and you can't get rid of this?
Speaker 13 (02:00:36):
Guy LIKE i don't want, to but you but you.
Speaker 11 (02:00:39):
Can and last night refusing what he wanted to, DO
i think was like first baby actually wasn't even a?

Speaker 3 (02:02:31):
Off, no she didn't cut him. Short she cut him.
Speaker 7 (02:02:33):

THINK i really like, THIS i want more LIKE i.
Speaker 3 (02:02:39):
Don't i'm not telling you to hoe yourself. Out i'm
just telling you give a little, bit enjoy a little,

Into his reaction is telling me that this is not
a good.
Speaker 10 (02:02:53):
Idea kevin's friends with, him, right you know this? Guy,
yeah BUT i mean that that doesn't that doesn't. Matter
it could be. Anybody it's never gonna. WORK i know
that's not doing. It but you went over there though
you are doing. It sometimes the only way to stop
the infection from spreading is to cut the limb OFF.
Speaker 6 (02:03:11):
I, did and then you sold it back on BECAUSE
i saw her and.
Speaker 3 (02:03:16):
She sees at neighbors.
Speaker 6 (02:03:19):
Like you're actually neighbors.
Speaker 15 (02:03:22):
Buildings adjacent to each. Other see in my, window oh,
God like sometimes he'll.
Speaker 3 (02:03:27):
Be like he looks in.
Speaker 6 (02:03:28):
There he'll be, like what do you?
Speaker 10 (02:03:30):
Watch either you gotta buy thicker drapes or you just
gotta get along with the.
Speaker 7 (02:03:36):
ROCK i bet you there's a lot of people that
are in a situation ship like. YOU i bet you
there's a lot of people that have that person that
might be in their life that they kind of, like
you know WHAT i, mean like a little, bit and
AND i wanted to get some advice from them of
what they do or what they what they do that
gets them into more, trouble or what they do to
keep themselves from getting in more. Trouble you have to,
(02:03:56):
EAT i feel, like so you're, saying just completely cut this.
Guy tell her you bron.
Speaker 13 (02:04:01):
Told me to block.
Speaker 10 (02:04:02):
Him, actually the only way to remove somebody from your
space is to operate like that the.
Speaker 3 (02:04:08):
Moment, nobody nobody else in her life.
Speaker 11 (02:04:12):
Right now Does, yes she she's got a guy In New.
York she's got a guy and.
Speaker 6 (02:04:19):
She's got a guy In. Mexico he got a lot of.
Speaker 15 (02:04:23):

IF i was having fun with, anyone because he's got
more money than this.
Speaker 3 (02:04:28):
Guy, vicky what's going?
Speaker 5 (02:04:30):

Speaker 3 (02:04:34):
Okay anne is the one with the. Problem talk to.
Speaker 6 (02:04:36):
Her, no she's not the one with the. Problem she
handled it. Right you're being an eight plant about.
Speaker 31 (02:04:42):
It that means, yeah, exactly thank, You.
Speaker 15 (02:04:48):
No because like just.
Speaker 36 (02:04:49):
LEAVE i mean she said how she handled, it and
the reason she like tried it was because like he was, like,
hey let's just go back to.
Speaker 18 (02:04:56):
FRIENDS i missed.
Speaker 6 (02:04:57):
You so, like why wouldn't you believe that that? Part
because you're?
Speaker 3 (02:05:02):
Smart, yeah well What i'm What i'm trying to What
i'm trying to, say because.
Speaker 6 (02:05:08):
Saying that everybody's going to try something no.
Speaker 10 (02:05:10):
Matter, yeah, WELL i don't want to say a blanket,
statement but ninety nine percent of the, guys if you've
been involved sexually with them and you cut them, off
we aren't just trying to be your friend. Again we'll say,
that we'll play on that emotion because we are amazing,
people especially if we've had, laughter we've had great.
Speaker 6 (02:05:30):
Times we know you missed, that but our goal is
to get between those.
Speaker 3 (02:05:33):
Legs that's.
Speaker 13 (02:05:35):
Awful but what are you supposed to do not believe?
Speaker 6 (02:05:38):
That, yes you're not WHAT i belie my belief with
with her?
Speaker 3 (02:05:44):
Too is.
Speaker 7 (02:05:47):
This that What i'm telling her to do? Though Is
i'm telling her to have some. Fun Sometimes anna comes
in and she seems like she's. SAD i want her
to not.
Speaker 13 (02:05:54):
Be, sad But i'm not sad for the, Record but, yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:05:58):
She enjoys this guy's come and enjoy the.
Speaker 10 (02:06:00):
Company and when it comes to the one, percent if
you go to a, pot look and there's a one
percent chance that you're gonna eat, CAPPIs do you just say,
sure it's only one, percent or do you say, No
i'm gonna go get food. Elsewhere that is the weirdest fetish.
Ever WOULD i have no idea us WHEN i said
ninety nine percent at the, time this is what it.
(02:06:21):
Is she's, like did you give it up for the one?
Percent if it's a one percent chance you're gonna, die
you don't jump off the.
Speaker 6 (02:06:26):
Bridge what's what's Up?
Speaker 3 (02:06:27):
Brandon idea or?
Speaker 6 (02:06:29):
Whatever or were you smoking in the you were gone for.
Speaker 7 (02:06:33):
CONVERSATION i was talking To tony and. COLLEAGUE i didn't
realize we were talking that. LONG i can tell you
that this guy was out in the parking lot smoking
a j or. Something what's going?
Speaker 6 (02:06:42):
On how you, Doing? Brandon not too?
Speaker 40 (02:06:45):
Bad how are you guys doing this?
Speaker 3 (02:06:46):
Morning good talk To, anna give her some advice like.
Speaker 40 (02:06:50):
This this is, honestly this is gonna sound rough at,
first but this is WHY i don't like date in
twenty twenty, five twenty six. Anymore this is, like this
is a mass, man.
Speaker 12 (02:07:02):
You.
Speaker 40 (02:07:02):
Know so from from the guy's, PERSPECTIVE i actually. DO
i do have a couple of friends that are women
that nothing has ever. Happened i've known six, years six.
Years i've known one of them thirteen. Years i've known.
Another so there's there's always boundaries THAT i have.
Speaker 16 (02:07:21):
To put in place just for.
Speaker 40 (02:07:23):
Myself there's certain THINGS i don't talk, about excuse, me
just to avoid that kind of emotional connection with that.
Person i'll vent about, Work i'll vent about whatever nonsense going,
On but like my personal life or like dating, LIFE
i don't vent ABOUT i don't want that kind of
advice from the opposite, sex just because IF i start
to invest in them too, Much i'm gonna get a connection.
Speaker 26 (02:07:45):
There so going, forward this is one of those people that.
Speaker 40 (02:07:51):
If you're going to take dating, SERIOUSLY i truly feel
in my heart of, hearts you got. It you gotta
cut this guy off. Totally he's already too. Close he's
already looking through the. Window. Right so let's just say
you're gonna invite your boyfriend over one day or, whatever
and you've got this dude just hanging out because you
guys are friends or, whatever and he walks in AND
i don't know HOW i feel about?
Speaker 6 (02:08:11):
This should she move? That did you have to pick
up and?
Speaker 5 (02:08:14):
Move?
Speaker 40 (02:08:15):
No just change your, locks thicker drapes and block the,
guy you know WHAT i? Mean that's about.
Speaker 13 (02:08:22):
What about WHEN i see him in?
Speaker 3 (02:08:23):
Person and you gotta be on the high end.
Speaker 10 (02:08:26):
Bid you got to prioritize, yourself not this old version
of you that was in love with this.
Speaker 3 (02:08:31):
Guy what's, Up? Bianca?
Speaker 10 (02:08:34):
Hey SO i agree With. Kevin you got to cut
him off completely because if he already had, it he's just.
Speaker 17 (02:08:42):
Telling you things to get it.
Speaker 31 (02:08:43):
Again, LIKE i don't think you're just that naive to
believe that y'all can be friends after y'all already bake
cookies together and you got sentence for?
Speaker 7 (02:08:52):
Him, ah.
Speaker 3 (02:08:55):
What's?
Speaker 6 (02:08:55):
UP i guess?
Speaker 3 (02:09:00):
Up how you, Doing?
Speaker 6 (02:09:03):
Gabby i'm?
Speaker 33 (02:09:04):
Glad how are you?
Speaker 3 (02:09:05):
Good what did you want to say To?
Speaker 22 (02:09:06):
ANNA i just want to SAY i believe With anna
And kevin BECAUSE i agree with them simply Because kevin is.
Right ninety nine percent of men are going to say
that just to get between your. Life, however us as
a woman would like to believe that one. Percent but
you have to go into that knowing that that ninety
(02:09:29):
nine percent is probably what he's going. For but you
would have to like she did up and leave and
accept it for what it is and say to, him
Either i'm gonna leave because this is not what we
had talked. About we were going to try to be,
friends or you keep it real and be, like, hey
we can do this and have fun because she's, young
(02:09:51):
and why not have? Fun she's not in a committed.
Relationship and then do.
Speaker 3 (02:09:57):
You think there's anything wrong with?
Speaker 5 (02:09:58):
That is?
Speaker 7 (02:09:58):
There Because anna does not wan, that she's afraid her
heart will get too attached to. It do you think
it's okay for her just to go and have tacos and.
Speaker 22 (02:10:06):
SEX i think it is if you if he wants
something down the, roamp then you take.
Speaker 4 (02:10:12):
It for what it.
Speaker 7 (02:10:12):
Is if, not that's WHAT i think. Too that's so
you don't. Agree and as Is kevin saying cut it,
Off i'm saying.
Speaker 16 (02:10:18):
Just go have.
Speaker 6 (02:10:18):
Fun, no she's, saying like down the road if he
comes back and, says, hey let's pick this. Up, no
but she's ready for Emptying.
Speaker 3 (02:10:26):
Sria but she also did say go, ahead have some
sex with him and have some fun and see what.
Speaker 6 (02:10:31):
Happens that's how she.
Speaker 16 (02:10:32):
Feels but she.
Speaker 18 (02:10:33):
Does that's how she.
Speaker 22 (02:10:34):
Feels and if she, doesn't then she needs to cut
it off because there, is Like kevin, said ninety nine
percent of those men are going to, say we can
just do this and be. Friends but, then like he,
did make moves and try to trick, you because it's
a mind game for. Them that's where their mind is.
Speaker 7 (02:10:53):
At so When, ana when you went over to his
house after spending one night with him where you was,
celibate you'd were shocked by him doing.
Speaker 13 (02:11:01):
THAT i MEAN i wasn't.
Speaker 15 (02:11:02):
SHOCKED i feel LIKE i thought it was going to.
HAPPEN i thought it would have happened the first time
we hung, out but THEN i was, Like, oh.
Speaker 13 (02:11:07):
He was, chill this is.
Speaker 7 (02:11:08):
Cool what was more shocking the first night you hung
out that he didn't try, anything or the second night
that he tried the first.
Speaker 13 (02:11:13):
Night that, yeah and that shocked.
Speaker 22 (02:11:18):
You so you gave him a second, try but when
he did it the second, time it threw you. Off
so you either would have to accept it for what it,
is knowing going forward that that's what it's going to.
Be he's going to continue to maybe give you the
break and think that it's Not but then come back
to that point.
Speaker 7 (02:11:35):
Again did anything different happen the second night that caused
for an almost sexual.
Speaker 3 (02:11:41):
Experience, NO i don't think.
Speaker 13 (02:11:43):
So he actually was like way nicer to me than
he's ever been.
Speaker 3 (02:11:47):
Before he started really. Nice he wanted it from, Me
like the day.
Speaker 13 (02:11:51):
Before that he had a gift for.
Speaker 10 (02:11:53):
ME i had, said, Up oh my, god, listen there's
only one way this, ends and that's a.
Speaker 6 (02:11:58):
Heartbreak Because Joe hart is already Any, ah.
Speaker 13 (02:12:04):
After we see him next, week he's after.
Speaker 3 (02:12:08):
Or or you'll see him this.
Speaker 13 (02:12:10):
WEEKEND i think he's going out of.

Thirty so let's start with the nine to one one
call made by the wife of Former university Of michigan
football Coach Sharon moore on the day that he lost his.
Speaker 3 (02:13:36):
Job did you listen to the whole?
Speaker 6 (02:13:37):
THING i did?
Speaker 5 (02:13:40):
NOT i.
Speaker 3 (02:13:40):
Did it was pretty.
Speaker 7 (02:13:41):
Wild first, off the nine to one one operator was
a little. TESTY i, WAS i was kind of listening
to this thing, going yeah she, was she was kind
OF i actually didn't think she was.
Speaker 3 (02:13:50):
APPROPRIATE i don't, know, really, YEAH i didn't like.
Speaker 4 (02:13:53):
IT i.
Speaker 7 (02:13:53):
DIDN'T i know that they're supposed to get you back
on point and. Stuff But Sharon moore's wife is calling because.
Shannicked she thinks that, her you, know husband is going
to kill. Himself what she said he was going To,
yeah and then she's trying to figure out where he's
at because he kind of.
Speaker 6 (02:14:08):
Laughed and all he's all he told her was he
was on a.
Speaker 3 (02:14:10):
Highway after you listen to, THIS i have some inside,
scoop but ALSO i have a thought on.
Speaker 16 (02:14:15):
This pretty. Pertimistic you have a hostile apartment number color
on the. Phone that's wrap the, knife the color and
the knife down and.
Speaker 5 (02:14:30):
WHAT i?
Speaker 7 (02:14:30):
Want hang, ON i got. It hold, On i'm gonna
play it for. YOU i got, It And i'm going
to tell you. Something i'm gonna say this on. RECORD
i don't know How Sharon more was, Fired. OKAY i
think that he was. Fired I'm i'm assuming by the
by the athletic, Director Ward manual And Ward MANUAL i
(02:14:52):
think fired him and kind of like let him go
on his way to home. Home, AFTERWARDS i think the
university is going to have some issues because the guy
was not stable and the idea that you fired him
and kind of let him go on his way and
let him go, home and nobody from like the university
called this family to see if he was okay or
(02:15:13):
whatever the deal, IS i, think or called the woman
that was in the relationship with.
Speaker 6 (02:15:18):
Him do you think they were responsible to do?
Speaker 7 (02:15:20):
THAT i think that when you fire somebody and you're
in a, relationship you know the guy's. Unstable this guy's
how do you know he was?
Speaker 3 (02:15:26):
Unstable? Though did they know he was?
Speaker 7 (02:15:28):
Unstay you think he went from zero to one hundred
like this or do you think that he before before
this was.
Speaker 3 (02:15:34):
You're asking a, question which means we don't know and
you don't know if he.
Speaker 7 (02:15:38):
Was and you, say you, say we're letting you go
because of this inappropriate relationship that we know about He
they obviously knew that this Or i'm sure Cheril moore
was led on that this woman is cooperating with the
university on all the.
Speaker 3 (02:15:52):
DETAILS i think you put her at.
Speaker 7 (02:15:54):
Risk now you also put this guy at risk of
his mental health being unstable enough that he potentially kills
himself or worse kills you, know her or his.
Speaker 6 (02:16:04):
Wife she knew she was at risk when she brought
the information to the.
Speaker 3 (02:16:08):
University, WELL i just think.
Speaker 7 (02:16:09):
That the, university like when you fire, SOMEBODY i think
that you got a like in our, case, hair we
would have, security you, know let you out and all this.
Speaker 6 (02:16:17):
Stuff but nobody's calling to check on any of us
after we get let. Go WELL i think they've been
let go. Twice there was no follow up phone.
Speaker 3 (02:16:24):
Call all, right let's. Wait let's listen to the ninety
one one call of his. Wife let's listen.

Speaker 1 (02:16:38):

Speaker 18 (02:16:40):
Okay why do you think he's trying to hurt?
Speaker 31 (02:16:42):
Himself because he said that to?
Speaker 16 (02:16:44):
Me?
Speaker 29 (02:16:45):
Okay what did they say?
Speaker 31 (02:16:46):
Specifically he said he's trying To he said he's trying
to kill. Himself, okay where is?
Speaker 16 (02:16:51):

Speaker 34 (02:16:53):
Clue he fire from his job and he's.
Speaker 31 (02:17:00):
Told him THAT i told him THAT i love, him
and THEN i need him to come.
Speaker 18 (02:17:02):

Speaker 3 (02:18:49):
BACKGROUND i think to, me her voice changed when she.
Speaker 10 (02:18:53):
Realized BUT i think when she her voice well to your,
point when she tested and she was, like where does
he work? At because that's his last known. Locations you
get officers in that.
Speaker 7 (02:19:05):
AREA i just think he kind of tried to calm,
her especially when she's got a kid's.

THOUGH i, MEAN i.
Speaker 3 (02:19:41):
Get, IT i understand.
Speaker 7 (02:19:42):
That but, LISTEN i think that you the woman uh
that had the affair with him obviously was at risk
because he went over to her house and threatened her
uh right. Afterwards SO i think when you're letting the guy,
GO i think that there's got to become a level
of you can't just all of a sudden fire the
guy and then go all, right we're done with this whole.
Speaker 3 (02:20:02):
Situation, now let's look for the next.
Speaker 7 (02:20:04):
COACH i, mean he could have been if he would
have Killed, no but if he would have killed that,
woman if he wasn't with a butter knife and we
had a regular knife or whatever and killed him or
even killed, himself we got a totally different story going
on here right.
Speaker 10 (02:20:17):
NOW i think what you're having is a moral, dilemma
not a legal, Dilemma like if they were nice, people
then they would have done these. Things BUT i think
corporations aren't. Nice it's about the bottom.
Speaker 7 (02:20:29):
Line i'd like to know who was there with him
when he got, fired because if there wasn't HR hr
and you know they they bring you, know they if
it was just ward to manual or. Whatever the guy
is the athletic director and the interim. President you, know
they're firing him and all, right you're on your, way good, luck,
buddy and they let him. Leave i'm assuming that that
(02:20:49):
car that he's driving is probably as probably a university
car because they all get company.
Speaker 3 (02:20:54):
Cars, yeah so they let him take that car, home
you know WHAT i.
Speaker 5 (02:20:59):
Mean So.

Speaker 3 (02:28:12):
Out all, right it's mojo in the.
Speaker 7 (02:28:15):
Morning WHEN i read this topic that was on your topic,
List i'm, like your first topic that you wrote was
about how Did wes over react with the? Text and
then the next topic you wrote as your topic header
hates her, Husband And i'm, going wait a, second not, me,
now you're going too.
Speaker 3 (02:28:35):
Far but this is actually somebody you.
Speaker 11 (02:28:36):
MET i met somebody this week at an event THAT i,
did and she was basically telling me her life. STORY
i really really liked her she was very. Interesting but
as she's talking and, talking she casually dropped this little
tidbit she, said AND i hate my. Husband and she
kept going AND i was, like, whoa back, Up why
(02:28:58):
why did you just say you hate your? Husband AND
i knew she had been married For she told me
she had been married for fourteen. Years they were going
on fifteen. Years i'm, like that's a really long. Time
and now you say you hate your, husband and she
said that until very very, recently like within the past.
Year since they got, married and even when they were,
dating they've always lived, apart usually not even in the
(02:29:19):
same state because of his, job and she wanted to
be here In michigan because her family is, here and
so she.
Speaker 6 (02:29:27):
Said we've always lived.
Speaker 11 (02:29:28):
Apart it worked beautifully for, us where you, KNOW i
would go to see him or he would come to see,
me and we would spend little pockets of time together
throughout the.
Speaker 6 (02:29:37):
Years and then all of a, sudden his, job he lost.
Speaker 11 (02:29:41):
That job and is now living here In michigan with,
Her and she's, LIKE i hate his gots more and
more every single.
Speaker 3 (02:29:48):
Day oh my, God well that's not, nice she.
Speaker 11 (02:29:53):
Said the more time she spends with, him the more
she hates everything about, Him AND i was, like that
is not a good situation to be in. Whatsoever but
And she's, like divorce never even that word never even.
Speaker 6 (02:30:07):
Came up in our. Conversation she just wants to kill.
Speaker 11 (02:30:09):
Him She she's, like when we're apart and see each other,
occasionally were, great.
Speaker 3 (02:30:17):
Are there any relationships that you? Have if you're listening to,
us this is some talking to.
Speaker 7 (02:30:23):
You then it started off a long distance relationship and
then they become you you guys get together Because i'm
assuming is. Theirs they were long distance and living in separate,
places and they only had short periods of time where
they would see each. Other so those short periods were
like kind of romanticized a little bit by the fact
(02:30:44):
that they were just coming to see each.
Speaker 11 (02:30:46):
Other and the crazy part is they have, kids so
she has raised their three kids completely on her.
Speaker 6 (02:30:52):
OWN i just assumed she. Didn't but, yeah, yeah this
is a.
Speaker 11 (02:30:57):
NEFLIX i was telling Her mojo about the coup that
you AND i know that are married and since they got,
married they live in the same city actually basically live
in the same, neighborhood but they live in separate houses
and has that's what works for.
Speaker 3 (02:31:12):
Them does she think that that would work or is
that still too much time she spent with?
Speaker 6 (02:31:17):
HIM i don't.
Speaker 11 (02:31:17):
KNOW i said, that and she's, like, oh that's. Interesting
i've never heard of anybody doing.
Speaker 3 (02:31:20):
That AND i, said, yeah how far was he from
her when he and her were in separate?
Speaker 11 (02:31:26):
Places she's always lived. Here he has lived in multiple
states across the country because.
Speaker 3 (02:31:31):
Of long enough where he had a far enough driver.
Speaker 6 (02:31:34):
Always had to be a.
Speaker 7 (02:31:34):
Flight, yeah here's the THING i would say to, them
And i'm not an expert to. This you probably don't
like the guy because he probably doesn't like himself because
he's probably struggling because he's out of work. Too SO
i think that you got to give him a little
bit of grace on that. One, so you, know you
say that BECAUSE i, MEAN i can only imagine what
(02:31:54):
that must be like because they had two major things.
Happen one is the guy lost his jobs and now
they're living, together and that in the living together part
probably mounts everything. Up you, know where you don't like the,
Guy SO i don't. Know it's first, off this is.
Wild when listeners do this all the time to all of,
(02:32:15):
us they'll tell. Us because we talk about so much
of our personal, lives they will tell us things That
i'm Going, God, NO i don't want to have to know.
Speaker 3 (02:32:23):
That you know WHAT i? Mean like when she told you.
Speaker 7 (02:32:25):
That it's fascinating because it brought you obviously this, topic
but also it gives you an opportunity to like kind
of weigh. In but don't you feel like it weighs
on your heart a little?
Speaker 3 (02:32:33):
Bit you feel?
Speaker 11 (02:32:34):
Bad SO i will see her, again And i'm scared
that Now i'm going to see the. Husband she freaking Hates,
god AND i am not good in those situations.
Speaker 3 (02:32:46):
Of and then you start judging, him, right you, Know,
YEAH i hate him?
Speaker 5 (02:32:50):
Too?
Speaker 17 (02:32:51):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (02:32:52):
Man are they like? Small everything doesn't about annoys? Her
everything about? Him do you think they? LAST i literally
just met her for the first. Time why are you
going to see her?
Speaker 11 (02:33:10):
Again so because it's a situation WHERE i will see,
HER i don't want to give off this person is
BUT i will see her.
Speaker 6 (02:33:17):
Last, MAN i don't know how they.
Speaker 3 (02:33:18):
Could, jenna what's?
Speaker 6 (02:33:19):
Up, hey good?
Speaker 33 (02:33:21):
Morning how are you guys going?
Speaker 6 (02:33:23):
Morning doing? Good what's going?
Speaker 33 (02:33:24):
On, Okay i'm just commenting on the lady who says
how she when the more she's with, him the more
she can't stand. HIM i find that very. Funny i've
been with my son's father for fifteen. Years we do
not live in the same. Home we have separate. Homes
we have an eleven year old son, together and it's
the same. Thing LIKE i love them to, death and
(02:33:46):
we spend quality time.
Speaker 31 (02:33:47):
Together but sometimes the MORE.
Speaker 33 (02:33:49):
I spend time with, them the MORE i get.
Speaker 6 (02:33:51):
Up, yeah it just it just works out better that.
Speaker 33 (02:33:57):
Way it's JUST i don't. Know sometimes we just get
our peace and you, know we in our alone time
and we just put the little.
Speaker 35 (02:34:05):
SO i don't, know it just kind of, works you.
Speaker 7 (02:34:07):
KNOW i think that if you were to ask my
wife about her level of love versus hate for, ME
i think she right now might be more towards hate than,
love BECAUSE i think you go through ebbs and flows
in your. Relationship and we just got done spending all
the holidays and all that stuff. Together BUT i do
think that sometimes being a part for a bit does
(02:34:31):
help the relationship.
Speaker 6 (02:34:32):
Out miss, him AND i don't, know.
Speaker 33 (02:34:34):
It like makes me miss. Him like WHEN i miss,
HIM i want to go see.
Speaker 31 (02:34:38):
HIM i just LIKE i love.
Speaker 33 (02:34:39):
You and then after's kind of a little bit of.
Time Sometimes i'm, Like, OKAY i just want LIKE i
want to go back home and just reset or. SOMETHING
i don't, know it just will.
Speaker 11 (02:34:49):
Work, Yeah and this this was just a totally different
beast because that's this is all that they've known they
started their.
Speaker 6 (02:34:57):
Relationship you know what she?
Speaker 25 (02:34:59):
Did you?
Speaker 7 (02:34:59):
Do And, jenny you tell me if he thinks When
shannon sees him and her together, again sometime pull him
aside and see how much he complains about.
Speaker 6 (02:35:08):
HER i want to see that's.
Speaker 7 (02:35:10):
INTERESTING i want to see if he's got equal the
amount of because, LISTEN i bet she ain't no peach
to be, around right or.
Speaker 10 (02:35:19):
STRAWBERRY i will say it is, THOUGH i think AND
i think sometimes we fall back on the if it
works for, you it works for you type of.
Speaker 6 (02:35:27):
Thing and that's.
Speaker 10 (02:35:28):
True BUT i think some of this is a little
bit you want your cake and eat it, Too LIKE
i don't want a relationship WHERE i have to not
see you for weeks at a time just to be
happy WHEN i do see. You, like that doesn't sound
like that's the type of RELATIONSHIP i.
Speaker 6 (02:35:45):
Want to be.
Speaker 7 (02:35:45):
In, well it does sound a little bit, like you,
know maybe you got to work through some of the
things that you don't, like like where are you running?
Speaker 3 (02:35:54):
From what's Up? Katie or ignoring good?
Speaker 17 (02:35:57):
Morning this is actually my FIRST i.
Speaker 29 (02:36:05):
Don't think she hates her.
Speaker 17 (02:36:06):
HUSBAND i think it's just a lot on her nervous
system at one, time and it's shocking her.
Speaker 3 (02:36:14):
Well AND i think that there's a lot going on
in that, family don't you, Agree like with what.
Speaker 13 (02:36:18):
They're dealing with the, change it's a lot for.
Speaker 17 (02:36:21):
Everybody it's a lot for everybody to handle between him
losing his job and you, know she's not used to
them being together so.
Speaker 3 (02:36:28):
Much it's a lot to. Handle, yeah, YEAH i, uh
it's it ain't, easy you know WHAT i. Mean that's
that's pretty.
Speaker 7 (02:36:35):
Wild but it is interesting when somebody tells us something
like even our friends tell us something about their spouse or,
somebody and next, thing you, know you got to run that, person.
Speaker 17 (02:36:45):
RIGHT i feel like you also have to take side
and get involved and stuff like that.
Speaker 3 (02:36:50):
