you're talking spit about me, aren't you? And she's like, yeah,
don't worry. She was talking to her man. She was like,
don't worry. He's on your side though, like he says

that I'm being dramatic, and I'm like, I don't like that.

that was mean to me. She's like, well, I wouldn't
have been nice to her if I knew that she

are drunk, And I'm like, this is exactly why I
didn't tell you, because you would have made a scene, yeah,
and then talking spit to me to their or talking
spit about me to their man. And I'm just like,
I don't know if I let this go because you're drunk.

to your man and talking talking bad about me.

and I'm like this right next to him because she's
handing him all the stuff that he needs, and I'm like,
it is awkward that she's just telling me how big

and a woman comes to see him and they have

get on the phone and talk. And the moment that
really hit my soul was when time was up, because
that experience that he had was different than mine. But
I can resonate with your time being up, explain the
time time out on the phone like you're done, Like
you're done, correct, And when you look at the show,

and in this particular scene, there's no like cool down
period there's no.

Like ability for them to have a moment of goodbye.

Once the clocket zero, the phone shut off, he gets
taken away immediately, and you can see how devastated he
was to be pulled away from the woman that he
was speaking to. And although my situation wasn't as drastic
as what I was watching on the screen, it did
make me think about my situation. And for those who
don't know, my dad was incarcerated for about five years

though why doesn't matter, and my mom shout out to her,
did such an amazing job of making sure that my
younger sister, Melinda and I maintain constant communication with him.
And during that time, yes, you could receive phone calls.
He had the ability to record VCR tape messages, so
we would like get those in the mill and then

my sister and my mom we would all get around
the television and then put it in and he would
be sitting at a desk and like he would be
talking and we would get letters. But my mom did
an amazing job of spending money that you know, she
didn't have to actually take us to go see him
wherever he was. And it used to be this thing
like sometimes she would have us get dressed up in
like suits, or sometimes she would just let us chill

and then we would go to the prison, have to
you know, go through the metal detectors, do all of that,
and we were allowed to be in a common area,
so kind of like I don't know, if you're working
in the office and you got a floor this large
room with tables, and we would be there. But I
would always remember when it was time to go, it
was like you it was weird because yes, you were
extremely excited to see this person that you don't get

to see all the time, but you always knew that
it had an expiration date, like this is only going
to be good for two hours, so to speak. And
then you would leave, You would take some pictures, you
would hug you with kids goodbye. And I always remember
like those car rides like leaving were always like super quiet,
Like it was like really really quiet, and we would
stop at Crystals, which is like down south version of
White Castle. We would grab some crystals, we would go

to the room and it would always just be like
super duper quiet. But watching his reaction, the incarcerated person,
I've only been able to know it from my side,
being able to leave and go back to the fresh
air and get crystals. I've never asked my dad or
even thought about what it was like on his side
until I saw this show and saw devastated that.

Because you're leaving in a car, going home to your
mom's home and comfort of that, he's going back to
a prison cell.

And knows that he doesn't get to see you for
however long again, so he was out of state and
he was in the prison out of state.

It is absolutely everything. I mean the prison is you
know decent. They have stuff, you know, games for us
to play and stuff like that, and my son and
his dad get to eat snacks together and everything, and
we do get to take a picture. But just just

to go through that and you know, between me working
full time and with my other kids and stuff, it's
it's hard. It's a lot, but that's the only thing
that keeps you know, who is incarcerated, your loved one,
Like that's the only thing that keeps them going, like
you know, and make sure that you know they have
you know, people that love them and a family and

a reason to come home and you know, not not
redo any mistakes that they had made and everything. But
it's it keeps my son, you know, on a straight
and narrow you know, like and it gets him excited, like, yeah,
we're gonna go see dad this.

lot of fan interest, increased TV ratings, and gotten some

to insure that every player competes in a safe and

everything just happened in a flurry in July sixth, there's
