Speaker 1 (00:02):
Detroit, USNX.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
I'm Skeeden Grandmother, Siby VD s Stimy Doo and iHeart
Radio Station, Greteed Human, real people, real stories, real.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
Laughs, real smelly and real dumb.
Speaker 4 (00:17):
Sometimes Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 5 (00:23):
Mojos big one.
Speaker 6 (00:34):
God, let me take y'all back to the beginnings. Alrighty ready,
you're listening to Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 1 (00:41):
You're a doodo ahead, we don't, we don't don't. Good morning,
and welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. War
the Roses coming up in lesson forty five forty six minutes.
We have a War of the Roses this morning that
(01:01):
you're gonna want to listen to this morning. On the show,
Hassan from Dearborn gets busted cheating by a member of
the Mojo in the Morning Show. One of our very
own Bianca actually busts him cheating. And you will hear
how coming up in just a little bit, so make
(01:23):
sure that you stick around for this. But kind of
an interesting situation and an interesting way that we will
catch him this morning with our world famous War of
the Roses. Also within the next like say, six or
seven minutes, give or take probably more take we are
going to give you tickets to see the Detroit Pistons
play this weekend, your chance to see the first Place Pistons.
(01:46):
And we then have Morgan Wallen tickets that shows sold
out one of their shows that weren't giving away tickets to,
and then Bruno Mars tickets and a big one a
trip to Florida before the polar vortex comes over us.
It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Yesterday's snow was something.
I mean, it just kind of costs for some massive
(02:08):
problems during the morning commute. Today is kind of the
calm before the storm. As we reported in our you
Know Weather just a second ago, Shannon and Detroit said
that today our temperature is going to be dropping drastically,
and it will be dropping through the weekend. But we're
at officially a high temperature for the day, which is
like twenty three degrees. But yesterday it was an interesting one.
(02:29):
So let me explain. I wasn't going to be home
all day, so I had to make an arrangement to
have if it snowed, somebody shovel the snow. So I
needed to have my show, my show snobveled, my snow
shoveled and so I made an arrangement with somebody and
(02:52):
I know we got to plow guys that call us
up all the time. This one was just a friend
who was going to grab a shovel, not a plow,
not pulling up in a in a plow. And they
were like, hey, yeah, I'll do it for you. And
I said, well, how much you know, would you want
for this? And they gave me the amount And I'm
not going to say the amount because, to be quite
honest with you, I think I'm way over paying for
(03:15):
this per per shovel y, but it could be. But
listen to how I got suckered even more. They did
the shoveling, which we got about three inches of snow yesterday,
if not maybe even a little bit more. There was,
I mean there was a good amount of snow. And
they shoveled the snow and then afterwards sent me a
(03:36):
text for me to venmo them the money, and their
price went up a little bit because they said that
the snow was heavier than usual. And I don't know
how they realized it was heavier than usual. They put
it on a scale or something or what how does
that work happen? You know? I'd like to have proof
(03:57):
of the heavier than usual snow. But it got me
thinking a little bit. And I'll be quite honest. I
don't cut my grass. I hire somebody to cut it. Actually,
Chad from Chad's Landscaping does my lawnch Chad and I
have Chad do it. And then he gives me a
(04:18):
weekly charge of how much he's going to charge me
for this, which, by the way, I remember back in
the day. You know how much he used to charge
me for this, back in the day when he was
a sixteen year old. He used to do this, back
when I lived in my last house. Fifty dollars twenty five.
Speaker 7 (04:34):
Oh my god, that's a steal. The kids in my
neighborhood won't even do it for twenty. Neighborhood wouldn't do
it for one hundred and twenty. No kids, these kids
these days are on roadblocks. They're not going to do
it for anything. You know what they might do it for.
They might do it for roadbucks. They might do it.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
They wouldn't even do that. He might do it else.
They might do it for a nipple. Maybe you have
to show him a nipple. Back in the day, did
I will tell you this about Missus Baranick.
Speaker 7 (05:01):
Oh my god, I love stories about Missus Brannick.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
Missus Baranick was the She was so much younger than
the neighbor next door Bob, and she was she was
a very attractive lady. And every young boy in the
neighborhood probably had their first experience thinking of her. And
Missus Baranick would All she would have to do is
come out in her like robe, and she'd come out.
(05:26):
You know, this is back in the day when you
get a newspaper on your driveway. She'd come out in
her robe and she'd see you riding your bike and
she'd go, hey, Tommy, and then she'd go, Tommy, if
you would like to make extra money? Yes, we would
I have to do so. Back to my my little dilemma, hair,
So I give the analogy of this. What if my
(05:47):
this was summertime and Chad was cutting my lawn and
you know how you get some of those weeks or
days where you get lots of rain and then your
grass gets thick and big and you know, bulky, you have, yes, yes, yes,
What if all of a sudden Chad called me up
and said, it's not twenty five dollars anymore it's now fifty,
you know, or seventy five or one hundred, because the
(06:10):
put can you do that with the snow or can
you do that with you the let me ask you
this though.
Speaker 8 (06:16):
So say, for example, you and Chad have this arrangement
set up, and Chad says, hey, Mojoe, I'm gonna be
there at two pm. You expect him at two pm.
Say it snows all the way until six pm. Is
he supposed to stay and continue to plow the entire time?
(06:37):
Does he come back like? No, The arrangement, and this,
by the way, was not with Chad. The arrangement is
that they will come when it stops snowing. But that's
a very good point because if it should snow at
say it snows at one o'clock like it did, yes
or what actually it was morning when it's snow turned show,
Say it snows at ten am and it stops snowing
(06:57):
at one and they go out there and shovel it,
and then say it starts snowing again at two. Right,
they're gonna get double the money and then add another layer. Say,
for example, he listened to Shannon's weather report and I
said those two inches, and it actually was eighteen inches.
Speaker 7 (07:14):
I just think if it's a flat fee, it's it's
a flat fee, like it's not.
Speaker 9 (07:19):
There are some things like I have.
Speaker 7 (07:22):
I have a like I live on a big I
have a big yard, okay, And Wes is like, that's
the one thing that I don't want to waste time doing,
so we're gonna pay somebody to mow the grass, okay.
Speaker 9 (07:33):
And same thing with leaves. Oh my god, I have
so many big trees and leaves.
Speaker 7 (07:37):
So I have the same company that most of the
grass will come and do the leaves.
Speaker 9 (07:41):
It never freaking fails. But that's what I'm saying is
that's a different sort of charge where the grass is.
You know, it costs.
Speaker 7 (07:48):
It's like forty bucks to I think do my yard
the front in the back.
Speaker 9 (07:53):
For the leaves.
Speaker 7 (07:54):
They charge by the hour and however many you know.
Speaker 9 (07:58):
Dudes it takes.
Speaker 7 (07:59):
So if it's two dudes by three hours, you know
what I mean, that's like a different metric.
Speaker 9 (08:06):
What's the word I'm looking for.
Speaker 7 (08:08):
So there's no metric for snow and there's no metric
for heavy grass.
Speaker 10 (08:13):
This guy needs to figure out how he's charging and
maybe start charging by the hour, because I'm thinking if
roles were zach, is that you.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
No, that's that's a snowshovel shoveling right.
Speaker 11 (08:24):
Now, kidding.
Speaker 10 (08:26):
If like the roles were reversed and somebody asked you
to stay at extra hour in the studio because you
needed to record a extra something, oh my god, now
you got would be okay, yeah, I can do that,
but it's gonna be a little bit of.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
An extra lydia. Lydia charge all the salespeople extra time
for how many more cuts they want of their commercials.
I'll hold on. Misfit, Tony, add some sense to this
whole thing. Am I out of line? Tony? In my
thinking of.
Speaker 12 (08:54):
You, you are way out of line, horribly disappointed, and
you you are complaining about peanuts, brother, peanuts.
Speaker 13 (09:03):
And you're asking someone to give you a socially acceptable job,
like if you don't want to paint do it yourself.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
Well I couldn't, I wouldn't. I wasn't there, Tony, Why
do you? First off, this is from a man that
wears Gucci and Louis Vauton shoes all the time in
the snow.
Speaker 12 (09:25):
Hey, for everything I want? If I want listen, Bojo.
Just Monday, I have I have people to take care
of my snow. I have plow companies. I have people
that come put molch down, do the trimming of my trees.
Speaker 14 (09:39):
Everything.
Speaker 12 (09:39):
I pay for everything I want. And I still Monday
went and bought a snow thrower, one of those little
fancy little snow throwers.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
A blower, yeah, like a snow Yeah. Why'd you buy
one if you got somebody doing it? A thrower?
Speaker 12 (09:52):
I even went and bought one of those. I'm using it.
And the due pulls up and he hops out and
continues to help.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
Wait, so did you have to pay the guy when
you were already doing it?
Speaker 13 (10:03):
Absolutely, I'll pay him for the season.
Speaker 5 (10:05):
Just do seasons.
Speaker 12 (10:07):
I pay for all my rental properties. I have five
rental properties.
Speaker 15 (10:12):
Tlus my own getsclars.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
This is unbelievable, Tony. I need, I need, I need
your business plan. I want you to be my Dave Ramsey.
Please listen.
Speaker 14 (10:25):
I'm telling you what you do Mojo way Away is rental.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
I'm telling you renting. Okay, all right, I like it.
Then I got to pay somebody to plow the rentals.
So I don't know, Autumn, what's going on on them.
How you doing?
Speaker 16 (10:40):
Good morning for some scholars.
Speaker 17 (10:45):
I just want to call in and put my two
cents on that snow.
Speaker 16 (10:49):
Because of snow removal, you actually do get charged more
by how much it actually comes down. Oh really, we
do a seasonal price with you and say the average
snowfall from Michigan is like forty two to forty nine
inches for the season. Yeah, if it goes over that,
your seasonal contract is now going to be by push?
Speaker 1 (11:11):
What does push me? What does that mean?
Speaker 16 (11:14):
Poor push? So every time a snow come the snowstorm
comes out and say that they yes, how many times
we come out? So if a snow storm causes where
we have to come out twice, that's two pushers push storm.
That's two charges after charge.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
Per push, actually knowing you had probably one push and and.
Speaker 18 (11:35):
I'm all done?
Speaker 1 (11:36):
How about you, York? That is true. I would get
no money. I'd be broke. Can I ever tell you
about the time that I that I put a guy
out of business And I had a guy shoveling my
snow or doing my snow, and he asked me if
I would pay the yearly rate or per push, and
I said, I'll pay the yearly rate. I ended up
giving him the money for the yearly rate, which was
(11:58):
like something like five hundred or something like that. He
was out over fifty five times. The guy lost money
on me. Wow. Yes, so he ended up going out
of business. What's up, mackenzie? How you doing?
Speaker 19 (12:11):
Hi?
Speaker 3 (12:12):
Good?
Speaker 11 (12:12):
Are you doing?
Speaker 1 (12:13):
Okay? Mackenzie? Unless you agree with me, you know you
can speak otherwise, go ahead. Do you agree or disagree
with me on this?
Speaker 17 (12:22):
I just I want to know more people's opinion. I
so I posted on Facebook I needed somebody to come
do my driveway. I live in a small house. It's
just a small driveway and my sidewalk in front. And
he said thirty bucks, and I gave him forty and
he seemed very happy. But I want to hit him
up again, but I can't afford to keep giving him
forty bucks every time. Thirty I guess I'd be okay
(12:43):
with But is the extra ten necessary?
Speaker 1 (12:46):
So you were so you gave me, you gave him, well,
you gave him the tip right off the bat, and
he should know if you have a deal with him
that it's thirty. I think you go back to thirty, okay,
and then give him a tip every now and again
when you can afford the tip, right.
Speaker 17 (13:05):
Right, Okay, yeah, that's I just want to tipping.
Speaker 8 (13:09):
Just tell him, just tell them the situation, because I mean,
you know, thirty dollars is better than nothing, right, you
know what I mean so exactly.
Speaker 17 (13:19):
And I also thought about all the snow coming. He
knows I give an extra ten Is he going to
hit up my house first?
Speaker 20 (13:25):
You know?
Speaker 1 (13:26):
Well that's the other thing too. I think sometimes you
give the tip so that your house gets done first,
and I think that's that's probably the thing. Well, I
hope that you can now not have to worry about
going to Facebook to get the answers because you got
him from us.
Speaker 17 (13:38):
Yes, I got his number now.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
Thanks Mackenzie, appreciate it. Have a great day.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
How smart are you in the Morning's back in the day,
we have to go back in turn where we give
you a bunch of events and you tell us what
year it happened.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
All right for Pistons tickets. This was the year that
the Midwest blacked out and leaving fifty million people without power.
Speaker 21 (14:00):
Millions and millions of people in big cities and suburbs
from New York to Detroit, and in Canada were caught
by surprise in the middle or late afternoon when the
electrical grid suddenly crashed.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
Jack Black starting school of rock. There used to be
a way to stick it to the man.
Speaker 11 (14:17):
It was called rock and roll.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
But guess what, Oh no, the man ruined that too
with a little thing called MTV and Cavin's girlfriend Jennifer
Lopez teamed up with La Cooljay for all I have.
I love this song, such a good one, And what
year was it? We'll set you out with the tickets
to see the Pistons play Sunday against Sacramento.
Speaker 22 (14:44):
If you talk a big game in the cart, you
are tell us the year this stuff happened.
Speaker 4 (14:49):
July four, six six five six five four.
Speaker 18 (14:52):
Eight cheating test.
Speaker 22 (14:56):
Grab your man's phone and run to the bathroom with
it kicks down the door.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
You have your answer.
Speaker 3 (15:02):
Another War of the roseses after seven on Mojo in
the Morning, Mojo in the Morning, in the morning, testing
your memory this early in the morning.
Speaker 18 (15:11):
This is Mojo's back in the day, in the day.
Speaker 3 (15:14):
What year did this stuff happen?
Speaker 1 (15:15):
I'll never forget eating everything in our refrigerator in freezer
like in twenty four hours because we thought it was
all going to go bad with the blackout that happened
this year. You were so excited and it was one
of the greatest days ever.
Speaker 21 (15:29):
Detroit and in Canada were caught by surprise in the.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
Middle or l fifty million people crazy and the lines
at gas stations were insane because nobody could get gas.
Jack Black starred in School of Rocks. Could be a
way to stick it to the man.
Speaker 18 (15:47):
It was called rock and roll.
Speaker 11 (15:49):
But guess what, oh no, the man ruined that too.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
What a little thing called MTV and Big song All
I half, Trevor, what year was that?
Speaker 23 (16:03):
That was two thousand and three, Way, Trevor, we're giving
you tickets to go see the Pistons play the Sacramento
Kings Sunday at Little Caesars Arena.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
There are tickets still available for that game. You can
go to Detroit Pistons dot com. What gave it away
with clue?
Speaker 24 (16:20):
It was Jack Black School Rock.
Speaker 14 (16:21):
That's mine and my uncle's favorite movie.
Speaker 12 (16:23):
We shall say it in our golf lead all.
Speaker 14 (16:26):
We gotta find a way to ticket to the man.

We'll get you caught up on what's training with the
Dirty on the thirty and Shannon, Good Morning.
Speaker 9 (17:07):
Good Morning.
Speaker 7 (17:08):
Kim Kardashian is the guest on her sister's podcast this week,
Chloe in Wonderland. She talks about Kanye her real hair,
admitted that she actually listens to Taylor Swift's music and
think she's a great artist, despite their very public past drama.
Speaker 25 (17:24):
Do you think people would be surprised that you listen
to Taylor Swift? I think I've said it. I think
people would be surprised surprised.
Speaker 26 (17:33):
Yeah, I mean it's just I have her, like some
of her older songs in my playlist. I've always thought
she's like a super talented, great artist.
Speaker 25 (17:43):
And do you like country music? Love country music?
Speaker 7 (17:45):
It's actually one of the very first times that Kim
has spoken positively about Taylor since that big fallout tied
to Kanye West. She also talked about her parenting choices
with her oldest North amid all sorts of criticism, Oh
North's fashion and piercings.
Speaker 26 (18:01):
The one misconception that people might have as like, oh,
she's trying to be her bestie and lets her get
away with a lot like no, Northe actually has a
lot of rules. The one area is I do let
her express herself and I do let her do that.
Speaker 7 (18:18):
Actress Zoe Kravitz opening up about how serious she feels
about her relationship with Harry Styles. Yeah, that is still
going strong, even though they keep their romance really out
of the spotlight as much as possible. But apparently she's
been telling all of her friends that she genuinely believes
they are soulmates, that he is it for her, And
(18:38):
according to people close to her, Zoe has been very
publicly affectionate, which is kind of sort of not normal
for her, and she just keeps talking about how she
is deeply committed and she has made it very clear
that Harry is very special long term. This is not
just a fling in her eyes. This is kind of
(19:00):
a crazy story that I read this morning. Baron Trump
is being credited with saving a friend's life after she
was allegedly assaulted by her ex boyfriend in London. The
woman said that she reached out to Baron over FaceTime
this was a little while ago, and although he could
only see a ceiling and hear her crying and screaming
(19:23):
in the background, he immediately called UK Emergency Services and
gave them her address.
Speaker 9 (19:30):
Police responded, of course.
Speaker 7 (19:31):
Very quickly, and at a hearing in court this week,
the woman told jurors that his decision to call for
help actually saved her life in that situation. Yeah, prosecutors
say this boyfriend became violent out of jealousy over her
friendship with Baron.
Speaker 27 (19:49):
So there's a lot there.
Speaker 8 (19:53):
I don't know any of my friend's address, by the way,
like literally, oh me neither. I couldn't tell you were
now one of my friends live in if it depended
on me giving.
Speaker 7 (20:05):
McDonald's like same and Chris Pratt stars in a new
side By thriller called Mercy. The movie's plot AI okay, well,
something that Chris is passionate about when it comes to AI,
specifically AI actors and actresses in Hollywood.
Speaker 28 (20:26):
I don't feel like someone's going to replace me.
Speaker 1 (20:28):
That's AI. You know. I heard this Tilly Norwood thing.
I think that's all. I don't think. I've never seen
her in a movie.
Speaker 28 (20:35):
I don't know who this is, so you know, like
it's it's all fake until it's something. I think it's
an amazing tool, and then the right hands could really
help people to tell stories. It's inevitably going to disrupt
the industry where in the midst of an intellectual revolution.
Speaker 9 (20:49):
If you miss anything from today's show, go back and
check out the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app, Mojo
in the.
Speaker 6 (21:00):
Morning's thirty on the thirty. This is the whole of the.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
Second date up days warm, the Roses, the throwback throw down.
Speaker 18 (21:11):
This is Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
All right, we have war the Roses coming up here
in ch just a little bit busting. A guy by
the name of Hassan with Bianca doing the dirty work
on this one, doing the the busting of this whole thing.
Speaker 27 (21:31):
We got him.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
I like that we got him. You'd be a great cop,
have you ever thought about that beyondre.
Speaker 27 (21:41):
No, I'm tonight. I would be like, you know what,
I'll do the same thing.
Speaker 8 (21:43):
You're off the hook, I got, Yeah, exactly, I committed
that crime to go.
Speaker 1 (21:49):
I gotta staying. What would you be like, I put
your hands up? Wait a second, you're kind of cute.
I don't know if I want to rescue right now.
Speaker 11 (21:58):
Wait, man, like you just don't don't care?
Speaker 1 (22:01):
That's right, Yeah, exactly. Actually I will say this a
different side of Bianca on this one.
Speaker 29 (22:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
And I was explaining this to Bianca and Lydia earlier
this morning. That and we did this with KP. She
was incredible at this too. When we would call these
guys up and have them talk to either KP or
now Bianca and these guys would be flirting back and forth.
(22:31):
I kept sitting there thinking to myself, are you guys idiots?
It's Bianca? What are you doing? Like what? But then
I realized, as I'm listening to this, it's because I
know Bianca, and it's not it's a girl on the phone,
you know what I mean? And then I so when
I edited the the you know war the roses to
make sure that I had to bleep out business names
(22:51):
I had to do, you know, specifics of things that legally,
you know, could get us in huge trouble. I'm listening
back to this thing and I'm going, at first, how
is this guy falling for it? And then I'm listening
back to it and it's a totally different story. I
listened back to it again just before the show today
and I was like, oh, Beyonca, it kind of sounds hot,
(23:12):
like it's.
Speaker 27 (23:12):
Kind of that's exactly how I pulled Bryce too.
Speaker 1 (23:16):
Listen, come on, I'm just kidding.
Speaker 27 (23:18):
I just had like previous experience in my olden days.
Speaker 9 (23:21):
In your old days.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
It wasn't the voice that got him. Wait, beyon Beyonce,
do you guys do you don't do phone sex with Bryce?
Speaker 27 (23:29):
Do you know what the heck? I don't want we
don't do that. Come on, we just sleep on FaceTime.
That's it, just.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
Sleep, you sleep on it.
Speaker 27 (23:36):
Yeah, and every night on FaceTime.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
Oh just go and they go pray on face time.
Speaker 27 (23:42):
Come on, I haven't even seen Bryce the shirt off?
Speaker 1 (23:44):
So what what about his pants? Wait a second, so
I cause I will say this to you. I never,
like I used to date girls all the time that
would be flirty over the phone. Chelsea's never been a
flirty over the phone person with me, Like if I
ever would ask her to get flirty over the phone,
like if we were you know, long distance, do you
(24:05):
when you talk to him, like on the FaceTime thing?
Speaker 27 (24:08):
Like he doesn't even call me baby or anything, and
these thinks it's weird. We just call each other a
little bean and that's it.
Speaker 9 (24:15):
Just like little bean.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
He does. He doesn't poppy or anything.

Speaker 9 (28:58):
And yeah?
Speaker 1 (29:00):
Question number five. Prince Harry was emotional yesterday during his
trial against The Daily Mail while describing how miserable his wife,

Florida coming up here in just a little bit. If

Speaker 6 (30:38):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (30:39):
Get your home for War of the Roses on Mojo.
Speaker 18 (30:41):
In the Morning.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
Zena thinks that her boyfriend is cheating on her and Xena.
You guys have only been dating for what a little
over a year or so, and you already think that
this guy's not being faithful? Yep, what is it that's
made you worried?
Speaker 33 (31:00):
Okay, So he went.
Speaker 16 (31:02):
With his boys.
Speaker 14 (31:04):
I didn't go.
Speaker 36 (31:05):
He told me it was just the guys.
Speaker 31 (31:07):
He came home, so dropped.
Speaker 36 (31:11):
And when he told a screep, I went through his phone.
I saw that he texted a random number like three
hours before.
Speaker 11 (31:19):
What did he text them?
Speaker 36 (31:22):
Somebody had texted him Hi, it's be.
Speaker 37 (31:26):
And he said, what up?
Speaker 36 (31:27):
Be something that?
Speaker 1 (31:30):
Why Why did you go through the phone in the
first place.
Speaker 16 (31:34):
Because.
Speaker 36 (31:36):
He went up by himself.
Speaker 16 (31:37):
I wasn't.
Speaker 36 (31:38):
I wasn't allowed to go, so, you know, I was suspicious,
and then I went back. I went back on his phone.
A week later, the text are deleted.
Speaker 1 (31:51):
Does he delete any of his other texts?
Speaker 36 (31:54):
Not that I noticed, but I wasn't looking, you know.
Speaker 11 (31:58):
So I was looking for that.
Speaker 1 (32:00):
He's usually somebody that doesn't delete his tax And all
of a sudden, you're deleting specific text. It makes you
worry that you had.
Speaker 9 (32:05):
Already seen so.
Speaker 14 (32:07):
Exactly you.
Speaker 1 (32:11):
Uh, did you say anything to him, like, Hey, who
is b who is this person?
Speaker 36 (32:18):
I haven't said anything.
Speaker 38 (32:19):
Nope.
Speaker 8 (32:20):
Did you suspect something was going on before that night?
Or did him just coming home drunk make you think
what were you up to?
Speaker 38 (32:28):
You know?
Speaker 36 (32:29):
There have been other times when I feel something that
may be going on, you know, and I asked him
a question and he gives me an answer that I
feel just like, I don't know, but I let it go.
Speaker 7 (32:45):
You know, are his friends good guys? Like, do you
trust him being out with them? Or are they all
kind of party party anyway?
Speaker 36 (32:51):
They're kind of like a typical party guys.
Speaker 11 (32:54):
Are they in relationships his friends?
Speaker 13 (32:58):
Some of them?
Speaker 39 (32:59):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (33:01):
Are they people that you would trust because you can
tell right away if somebody's a guy's a trustworthy guy
or not trustworthy guy? Not really, so you don't trust
him very much. All right, you're well, hey, relaxed, and
so are we, Kevin and I. But okay, so here's
(33:22):
what we're going to do. I'm gonna let the listeners
in on what we're going to do. We are going
to call up Zena's boyfriend and we're going to have
Bianca from our show pretend to be a girl that
he met out and we're going to see what he
does when a girl who he might think he met
(33:46):
or we're going to try to hope that he thinks
that he met is talking, and we're going to see
what kind of conversation that we can get out of him.
And if he right away goes I don't know who
the hell you are or whatever, then obviously you know
we got somebody that maybe is not cheating. Okay, okay,
(34:06):
So and what should I do? You're just gonna mute
your phone? So do you you have an iPhone?
Speaker 36 (34:14):
It's a no, it's an entrance.
Speaker 1 (34:15):
Does it have a mute button on it?
Speaker 6 (34:18):
Yes?
Speaker 13 (34:18):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (34:18):
All right, push mute right now, and Bianca, you do
all the talking here we go.
Speaker 24 (34:24):
All right?
Speaker 1 (34:37):
Hello, Hey, Hello, who's this?
Speaker 27 (34:43):
You really don't know who this is?
Speaker 29 (34:46):
No?
Speaker 40 (34:47):
Who's this?
Speaker 27 (34:48):
Damn? Come on now, you don't know.
Speaker 12 (34:54):
No, I don't know.
Speaker 28 (34:54):
Just some random numbers calling me.
Speaker 35 (34:56):
I want to know who's calling?
Speaker 27 (34:57):
How many girls are you talking to?
Speaker 41 (34:58):
Man?
Speaker 30 (34:59):
For real, I don't know what you're talking about.
Speaker 42 (35:04):
Be who you remember from last week? You were all
over me last week?
Speaker 14 (35:12):
Bro, Oh my god, you're crazy.
Speaker 27 (35:18):
I had a good time, as did you.
Speaker 26 (35:23):
Yeah, you know, I like that have fun.
Speaker 18 (35:25):
But you know, I'm just chilling now.
Speaker 1 (35:26):
But did you have fun?
Speaker 27 (35:28):
Less time? But how my god, you're a messing. You're
really drunk then huh.
Speaker 36 (35:38):
No, I you know, I just.
Speaker 42 (35:43):
Okay as what I know you've been up to. I
was thinking about you a little bit. I was like
they was fun with him. I never heard fro him since.
Speaker 21 (35:51):
Yeah, honestly, I just didn't have your numbers saved.
Speaker 17 (35:53):
But I'm just no, no, you.
Speaker 27 (35:55):
Did stop lying. You text me that.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
Come on now hasan hello hey his son?
Speaker 42 (36:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (36:10):
How do you think that your girlfriend Zena would feel
knowing that you're having a conversation with this girl that
you met out at a bar Xena?
Speaker 43 (36:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (36:31):
What are you thinking when you're hearing that?
Speaker 36 (36:35):
It makes me sick?
Speaker 1 (36:38):
You know, Zina, I want you to hang on the
phone and uh and we're going to talk to you more.
Speaker 3 (36:45):
Okay, okay A busted again.
Speaker 18 (36:50):
What you did about that day? Didn't hang in on
the bed. It's your home for Boar of the Roses, Mojo.
Speaker 1 (36:57):
In the Morning, Mojoe of the Morning or the Roses.
Just moments ago, you heard Hassan flirting with Bianca from
our show after his girlfriend said that she was worried
that he's cheating on her. Because again, it's another one
(37:18):
of those where something shady was going on in his
phone he was deleting messages, and he doesn't delete all
of his messages, but obviously one specific. So we did
the call with Bianca, and you witnessed what you witnessed.
And this was something that came up afterwards and was
something that we didn't catch on tape, but it was
(37:40):
when we had a conversation. We did get in touch
with Ausan again, and the conversation with Hassan of an
excuse as to what was going on was that he
didn't fully admit that he cheated, but he did admit
that maybe he doesn't remember everything because because he was
(38:00):
under the influence of alcohol at the time, and he
was hammering to us that the alcohol made him do it,
and that was what was his excuse as to why
potentially he was unfaithful verbally with another woman, he says,
not physically with another woman. So I wanted to bring
(38:21):
this up and get listeners to comment on that as
a potential defense. Has anybody ever tried to use their
defense of alcohol or drugs as the reason why they cheated?
And then the second thing is all the people that
say I jumped on too soon, You guys have zero ideas,
(38:44):
zero ideas at how uncomfortable of a situation is like
that until you actually watch the video of it. So
if you're watching the video, you'll see. And I think
it came to a point where Bianca was ready to
end this thing, so we ended up having to do
two jump on. So let me ask you.
Speaker 8 (39:02):
A question, though, But your first point about being under
the influence, whether it's drugs or alcohol, was his excuse?
Is that indefensible or is it a real reason why
you may have acted out of your character? And it
doesn't make it right, but is it indefensible like you
(39:27):
can't defend it?
Speaker 1 (39:29):
I think I personally think that it's a BS bogus excuse,
but I know there are some people I agree.
Speaker 9 (39:37):
I think it's a BS excuse.
Speaker 7 (39:38):
I think that when any of us drink or smoke
or do edibles whatever, you're you know, fun of choices.
I think you you act a little differently. You're you know,
for myself, I know I'm definitely more outgoing, I talk
a lot more at whatever. But I still think there
that you understand the big the big rights from wrong.
Speaker 8 (39:58):
You're still aware what everyone says.
Speaker 1 (40:02):
No, no, I fully I fully agree.
Speaker 8 (40:04):
I'm trying to think of moments where I know for
a fact I've been drunk and I probably have done
things that I wouldn't have done sober.
Speaker 1 (40:11):
I don't remember it. And this is anything sexual.
Speaker 8 (40:13):
And I don't know if that's the line, is that
whether or not I would cheat on somebody, But I
remember we was at an all inclusive for the homie
wedding and everybody vibing and drinking. Next thing, I know,
I don't climb the ladder at the restaurant and I'm
on the roof, okay, So.
Speaker 9 (40:27):
I trust me. I do things like that too.
Speaker 7 (40:29):
My friends, if they could call right now, they're like,
remember when you climbed a construction crane? And oh yes,
But I think that it's one thing to do silly things.
It's another thing to do something that is going to
be of detriment to your relationship or your life. Although
I guess climbing on a roof or climbing on a
construction crane could be could be dumb and stupid, but
(40:52):
I don't know. I definitely think that there's still a
line though, that you you are still coherent enough to
know right for wrong.
Speaker 1 (41:00):
Well, and we all get drunk horny. I mean, who
doesn't want drunk Corny.
Speaker 7 (41:04):
I think we all wake up the next morning, or
at least I know I do sometimes and I'm like, uh,
I feel like I said too much about a particular
situation that I didn't want to really speak about those
sorts of things.
Speaker 1 (41:14):
But and to go with this, how many times have
we slept with somebody or had sex with somebody that
we probably wouldn't have if we were fully sober, we
would have rethought. I mean, there's a lot of relationships
that started drunk, and there's a lot of sex that
started drunking. Kelly, what's up? It's mojo in the morning,
(41:35):
wore the roses.
Speaker 44 (41:37):
Yeah, I think it's a bogus excuse. I'm sorry, but
you decided to take the drink, you decided to take
whatever drugs.
Speaker 35 (41:45):
And you decided to keep.
Speaker 37 (41:46):
Going, and what you do from.
Speaker 33 (41:49):
There is what your body is telling you you want
to do. So I think it's just a bogus excuse.
Speaker 44 (41:54):
And I was always taught excuses are tools of incompetence.
Speaker 1 (41:58):
So that's a great line. Although how great was Bianca
at talking to him?
Speaker 27 (42:05):
You were it was all previous experience.
Speaker 1 (42:09):
Yeah, right, what's up? Whitney? How you doing.
Speaker 41 (42:14):
I want to say, being drunk is never an excuse
to be a cheater period. I mean, we all know
he's giving me. He's going out, giving out his number,
deleting numbers while his girl doesn't know. So I mean
he's not ready to be committed. My boyfriend, he goes
out with his boys all the time, and I know
he's a flirt. I know he's a loud, funny guy,
(42:38):
but I'm not catching him with texting his phone and
phone numbers in his phone and disrespectful things where he's
saying I was drunk.
Speaker 14 (42:46):
So no, there's no.
Speaker 1 (42:47):
Excuse, no excuse. And by the way, what's his name?
Speaker 41 (42:50):
Witness my boyfriend?
Speaker 11 (42:54):
Yes, Larry, I loved him.
Speaker 1 (42:56):
He's going Larry, be careful, Larry. No, what does he drink?
What's what's his thing?
Speaker 41 (43:05):
He's a Don Julio guy and he chases it with beer?
Speaker 1 (43:08):
So yeah, you know what have you ever heard tequila
makes your clothes come off? Oh?
Speaker 33 (43:15):
Yeah, I know, trust me.
Speaker 1 (43:18):
Watch what's up, April?
Speaker 5 (43:22):
Hi?
Speaker 15 (43:24):
Hey, how y'all doing?
Speaker 45 (43:25):
I just wanted to say, oh, y'all ship even a
listeners like.
Speaker 46 (43:28):
Come on now, nobody act like they didn't do nothing.
Speaker 35 (43:31):
They're not supposed to want to.
Speaker 47 (43:35):
I'm just saying I used to drink, and I made
a lot of bad choices. I didn't flat with people,
I didn't flirted with people.
Speaker 24 (43:44):
I didn't did a lot of.
Speaker 1 (43:45):
Things that I gotta dumb. We gotta dump that one.
We gotta dump, we gotta dump the one. April's right
with this one here in April, can you promise that
you're not gonna swear again for me?
Speaker 35 (43:57):
Sorry?
Speaker 1 (43:57):
Okay, April, that was that was alcohol that made her
do that big f bomb. April. I agree with you.
I agree. I think that there are plenty of people.
Matter of fact, I would bet ninety nine point nine
percent of people have slept with someone because they were
drinking that they would not have slept with if they
(44:18):
were stone cold sober. Matter of fact, most girls that
have had sex with me. So I do have to
say this to you that you are right. We are
tripping if we don't believe that that is a case
although cheating on your girl. And also I don't know
if he's cheating. I mean, he admits that that he's
flirted with girls. He at least came out and said that.
(44:40):
I think we all have flirted with somebody that wasn't
our significant other when we've had alcohol.
Speaker 10 (44:46):
I would like to believe that no matter how drunk
you are, though, if you were in a happy, good
space in your relationship, you would not be doing that.
Speaker 7 (44:55):
Actually, you know what, I think, It's like a totally
different thing when we're comp Like I'm not in a relationship,
I'm out, I'm having fun. Okay, I'll hook up with
this guy whatever, Like the consequences don't match up to
I'm in a committed relationship and and I do something,
you know, while I'm drinking.
Speaker 1 (45:17):
I think this guy's case, I think getting that girl's
phone number and texting her. People are gonna be piss
at me for saying this is bad, but not as
bad as what some other guys have done. And he
or girls or girls exactly, Devin, what's up is Mojo
in the morning? What's going on?
Speaker 32 (45:34):
Hi?
Speaker 37 (45:35):
I have a pant that is like in psychiatry and
all that like mental health stuff. She literally told me,
like when you get like stone cold, hammered drunk and
Nick gets the boy, you don't remember anything. A lot
of people like start to like do things that they
normally wouldn't do when they're actually sober because their body
(45:57):
is so like hyped up not feeling really good to
like when it comes to your mind, you're like, I
wanted to do that when I was Goldberg.
Speaker 20 (46:05):
Bro I'm it doesn't like basically I.
Speaker 1 (46:07):
Can tell you that you think you've never seen me
karaoke on a completely sober time, but you know you're right.
I'm sure psychologically there is something to that. What's up, Brooke?
Speaker 48 (46:19):
Hi?
Speaker 14 (46:19):
How are you doing great?
Speaker 5 (46:27):
So?
Speaker 35 (46:27):
I like, I actually really like looking just that.
Speaker 49 (46:29):
Actually I'm recovery at it. And I've actually been in
a lot of situations. It's like, well, I've been massed
up and I've made bad choices.
Speaker 50 (46:40):
You know.
Speaker 51 (46:40):
But it's all about.
Speaker 49 (46:42):
Like the value you put on your relationship, Like it's
you don't put yourself in those situations, you know what
I'm saying, Like, that's how I that's how I feel.
Speaker 1 (46:53):
Like, Well, and I'm wonderful for you to be recovering
and I and we're thinking of you and happy for you,
were celebrating you and I think that and you remember
those days, don't you, where you you do things that.
Speaker 8 (47:09):
Hey, broke, it's the wildest thing you did. You know
what thought. She's in recovery. Do we want to ask her?
Speaker 1 (47:15):
It's part of the program. I hung up with her
because I keep going Brooke, h Vicky, what did you
want to say about this guy? Hassan.
Speaker 24 (47:25):
That was the fastest hang up I have.
Speaker 52 (47:27):
Heard with.
Speaker 1 (47:31):
As soon as he realized Xena was there, he just
got gone.
Speaker 16 (47:36):
He was like click.
Speaker 31 (47:38):
He didn't even wait to hear her voice.
Speaker 24 (47:39):
You asked him what she would think to a click
like I'm out. That actually hit me laughing.
Speaker 1 (47:45):
Yeah, it was crazy.
Speaker 8 (47:46):
I want to hear from somebody, and I know somebody.
They might be scared to listen. That's why we got
voice disguised. But there's somebody who's lived in this situation
who I don't know if they were in a happy
relationship or if there was existing turmoil at the time,
but they got drunk and has sex with somebody, and
I want to hear from you.
Speaker 1 (48:02):
Your wish is my command is that that is saying,
let's go, Jeanie Zach Voice disguise line number thirty three. Ready,
h initial M. What's happening in M Hi? Hi your voices, guys.
Kevin was just asking for you what happened?
Speaker 53 (48:22):
Yes, so basically I got out of a really toxic relationship,
like he cheered on me compulsively. I waited about a
year before I started talking to my previous ex. But
in that year we were kind of talking and I
got super drunk and had sex with somebody else.
Speaker 50 (48:43):
It's like five.
Speaker 53 (48:44):
Years ago, we're still together. I took account of villain
and I worked on myself, and now I go out
and get junk and do not have sex with people.
Speaker 1 (48:54):
What was the alcoholic choice that you were drinking the
night that you ended up boning somebody else cameos?
Speaker 8 (49:02):
Now that the person that you had sex with, did
you know that purpose from previously or did you just
meet them that day?
Speaker 53 (49:09):
Yes, we knew each other through mutual.
Speaker 9 (49:12):
For a while.
Speaker 8 (49:13):
So did you always find that person attractive? And then
the alcohol just kind of gave you the extra courage
to move forward with it?
Speaker 53 (49:21):
Not really, it kind of just was that night.
Speaker 9 (49:24):
Do you either remember or were you like blacked out?
Speaker 50 (49:28):
I was blacked out, yes.
Speaker 9 (49:29):
So you don't really even remember it? You were you barely?
I remember contact? Okay?
Speaker 1 (49:35):
What was the initial content.
Speaker 53 (49:39):
Hand touching?
Speaker 10 (49:40):
Do you think it was you I pushed forward or
the other person I'm sorry.
Speaker 53 (49:45):
What'd you say?
Speaker 10 (49:46):
Do you think it was you who was like pushing
for this.
Speaker 11 (49:49):
Or were they?
Speaker 39 (49:50):
No?
Speaker 53 (49:50):
No, no, no, I think it was mutual.
Speaker 1 (49:51):
Okay, Okay, So it wasn't he was taking advantage of you? No, no, no, no, yeah,
because I I boy, that would be awful if that
was the case. But so you kind of you kind
of say you're blacked out, but you use that as.
Speaker 53 (50:05):
I don't know how to say it. I was like
not coherent, but I was like coherent.
Speaker 1 (50:11):
Listen, I get it. I I've been that drunk before,
but I knew what I was doing when I was,
you know, taking my pants off at that time. So
see it happens.
Speaker 6 (50:21):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (50:22):
If you want to listen to this War of the
Roses again, go check it out. It's podcast, it's available,
and it's Hassan flirting with Bianca.
Speaker 3 (50:30):
This is the.
Speaker 27 (50:32):
Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 1 (50:35):
All Right, we're gonna give you a chance to win
a trip to Florida. The trip is to Anna Maria Island. Kevin, Kevin,
he's not you know what, Kevin. I don't know what. Kevin.
You couldn't guard tom Izzo's you couldn't guard his mother.
(50:58):
You're not even paying a ten today. I see you
right now.
Speaker 8 (51:02):
I don't want to do it every single times and
it loses its luster.
Speaker 1 (51:06):
Yeah, of course, I think I remember an Usher concert
that drove me eight four to four Mojo Live when
a trip to Florida, Jordan Mornings Dirty on.
Speaker 9 (51:17):
The third Stellian another one.
Speaker 1 (51:23):
Yeah, geez, I love it all right, we got the
Dirty on the thirty. What's going on?
Speaker 7 (51:28):
Shan Well Happening today? A former University of Michigan head
football coach, Sharon Moore, will be in court at nine
am for a preliminary hearing again. He is facing charges
of third degree home invasion, stalking, and breaking and entering.
We all know the story I'm hearing today is gonna
be pretty boring, just standard procedural stuff unless there is
(51:52):
a plea deal, which.
Speaker 9 (51:53):
Is highly unlikely.
Speaker 7 (51:54):
So Former First Lady Michelle Obama on the Call Her
Daddy podcast this week, and one of the topics discussed
that I keep seeing my friends posting this section of
her interview is that Michelle said she does not advise
women to quit their careers to have and raise children, because,
in her experience, kids move on and they don't really
(52:18):
care about what you did for them, be.
Speaker 54 (52:20):
More honest about the struggle trying. I try to do that,
you know, And I am constantly telling young mothers like
it's coming right, you don't have to get off your
career track. And I don't even recommend it, because kids
grow up fast and then they're gone, like you've sacrificed everything.
(52:41):
And you know when they lead, they lead, they close
the door and act like you never sacrifice. They're like,
I remember you, I don't need you anymore, right because
now what.
Speaker 12 (52:51):
I'm gonna do.
Speaker 31 (52:51):
I devoted everything.
Speaker 54 (52:53):
To you and I need to now I've got to
fill my time. So I always I encourage people to
hang in there and keep something for yourself.
Speaker 7 (53:06):
I love that she said that. And by the way,
it's so true now as a mom myself. Do I
really appreciate all of the things that my mom did
and how hard she worked both at work and at
home to make things happen for us.
Speaker 3 (53:22):
You know why.
Speaker 7 (53:23):
The longtime host of Well co host of will Fordson
is officially married, surprising a lot of people. She tied
the knot with her longtime love John Donaldson in a
very elegant ceremony over the weekend in front of family
and friends.
Speaker 1 (53:35):
With the passage.
Speaker 9 (53:36):
I don't know. I only saw a picture of her
and her new husband.
Speaker 1 (53:40):
I thought it was interesting that they've been dating for
a very long time and now I've decided to get married,
and she's and he are at ages where it's like
very interesting to see couples that get married at that age.
Are you thinking like what's the point? Yeah, kind of
thinking that just because And I don't know, I think
Vanna has been married in passed and maybe it was
(54:00):
divorced or something. But at a certain point it made
me think to myself, I'm like, vanit, you guys have
dated for such a long time. What is it now
that would make you guys want to now finally tie
the knot after nearly I think twenty years or something
like that. Wasn't it fifteen twenty years?
Speaker 8 (54:15):
He was married to George Pietro from nineteen ninety to
two thousand and two.
Speaker 1 (54:20):
Okay, yeah, so that she's been so this is a
second way.
Speaker 9 (54:22):
They have a daughter together.
Speaker 1 (54:24):
Yeah. Ryan was at the ceremony, I believe, or was there. Yeah,
So I did not see if Pat was. I'm sure
he was.
Speaker 7 (54:31):
Run Stefan Diggs no, longer has a paternity entiled support
lawsuit hanging over his head after his ex, Eileen Lopeerra,
dropped the case. The lawsuit was dismissed after a DNA
test reportedly confirmed Stefan Diggs is the father of Aileen's baby.
She had originally filed while pregnant, asking for custody terms
and financial support. He asked for a DNA test and
(54:53):
he's like, look, if I really am the dad, I
will share custody and costs as well. So once the
results came back, Eileen ended the case. For lawyer says
both sides now planned to co parent, so no more
legal drama there. And this last story takes place at
a Honda dealership in Montclair, California's going viral right now
(55:15):
because it involves a salesperson who tried to tell a
female customer that a date with him was required to
buy her new car. But he essentially said to her,
you're not buying the car if we're not going on
a date, and when she refused the date, he jacked
up the price by ten grand play.
Speaker 3 (55:36):
Then you take him out on a date, all right,
all right, Well, first I got to see.
Speaker 9 (55:41):
Your not you still taking them out on.
Speaker 11 (55:43):
A date, right, I think the date is included.
Speaker 6 (55:46):
The days included, it's required.
Speaker 9 (55:48):
She's secretly recording this as.
Speaker 22 (55:49):
Part of the entrance feat.
Speaker 10 (55:54):
So no, let me say what you got first.
Speaker 27 (55:57):
Well, I'm here for coffee.
Speaker 47 (55:59):
Are comfortable?
Speaker 1 (56:01):
It's because no, it's no, no, it's not a joke
at this point, because you've been out.
Speaker 45 (56:05):
For like I asked.
Speaker 9 (56:08):
No, no, it's not fair. She came in for a
car and you're already here.
Speaker 3 (56:13):
I'm asking for a second, and for a second, what
I have a friend.
Speaker 1 (56:17):
I'm waiting for the faint So that that's rude.
Speaker 20 (56:22):
It's rude for you to like a joke funny.
Speaker 1 (56:27):
I don't think that's a good thing for his business
right now.
Speaker 8 (56:31):
Man, I thought he was joking, But once she said
an hour, I was like, okay, yeah, yeah, jokes over.
Speaker 9 (56:36):
Yeah, he mass anything from today's show.
Speaker 7 (56:38):
You can always go back and check out the podcast
twenty four to seven for free on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 3 (56:43):

(58:30):

Speaker 14 (58:34):
At stage four prostrate cancer?
Speaker 5 (58:36):
Oh? Man?
Speaker 1 (58:37):
Okay, And and you have been dealing with that for
a bit now, And how you feeling.
Speaker 20 (58:43):
I'm feeling okay.
Speaker 14 (58:44):
I'm the drugs side effects are really pretty bad. But
other than that, I'm doing doing okay.
Speaker 1 (58:50):
All right. Well, listen, you got you and your wife
go have literally the honeymoon of honeymoons at this long
stage of your your marriage and totally relive a little
bit of that and go enjoy and get your mind
off of everything. And we're going to pray for you.
And I know good things are going to happen your way. Great,
Thank you very much. I appreciate it.
Speaker 9 (59:11):
And congratulations.
Speaker 1 (59:13):
Yeah, congratulate man. Good good things going on. Man, Book
that trip fast so you can get the hell out
of here in the next day, like imagine, I want to.
I don't want to be here on Saturday when it's
minus thirty degrees. My name is Patrick from Nova. Get
me the hell out of this place, all right, it's Mojo.
In the Morning show, Shannon got a secret admirer flower
(59:37):
delivery yesterday. What's it beautiful? What was it from Roses balloon?
Speaker 9 (59:43):
That was the joke that everybody was making, trust me.
Speaker 7 (59:46):
So I got home from work yesterday and I went
and picked up a grocery. I did a few things
after work, got home and there was this beautiful bauquet
of a dozen long stummed white roses and baby's breath
on my porch and it was like arranged all beautifully.
Speaker 9 (01:00:09):
And I'm like, oh my god.
Speaker 7 (01:00:11):
So I take them inside and the card there was
a card attached and the card read happy Birthday, I
Love you one nineteen twenty six, which it was my
birthday on Monday, Okay, So I immediately FaceTime my husband and say,
oh my god, why did you I'm like, why.
Speaker 9 (01:00:32):
Did you send me flowers after my birthday? Because of
course I assume they're from him.
Speaker 7 (01:00:37):
He the color drains from his face and he looks
at me so seriously and said, I did not send
you flower Shan. And I'm like, thinking he's joking, and
I'm like come on, and he goes, I seriously did
not send you flowers, and so, and then I can
start to see he's like getting he gets mad and
he's like, well, who sent them to you?
Speaker 9 (01:00:56):
I'm like, well, I don't know. I assume that they're
from you.
Speaker 7 (01:00:59):
They say I love you on them, and I'm like,
maybe my mom sent them to me. Because my mom
was sick all weekend. I didn't see her for my birthday,
and I thought, maybe this is my mom's way of,
you know, saying happy birthday. So I FaceTime my mom, Mom,
did you get me these flowers? Nope, she didn't buy
them for me. And so I'm like, who in the
hell would buy me flowers and say I love you?
Not my dad and stepmom kind of thing to do.
(01:01:20):
We don't do gifts. My sister already gave me a gift.
My friends, my friends would have written we love you.
So I'm like, who in the house. So I FaceTime
west back and by this point he's creeped out, slash pissed,
and we kind of got into a little argument because
he's mad. He's like, who is sending my wife flowers
(01:01:41):
and saying I love you? And I'm like, why are
you mad at me? I don't know who who this is?
So these stupid flowers caused a little bit of a
rift between us, and so finally I'm like, you know
what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna call the florist and
ask the florist who sent the flowers?
Speaker 1 (01:01:57):
Can we guess real quick?
Speaker 9 (01:01:59):
Yeah? Go ahead, I'm not going to tell you who
it is until I okay talk about it.
Speaker 8 (01:02:03):
I remember you mentioned that somebody had got your number,
was like sendy winky faces.
Speaker 9 (01:02:07):
Yeah yeah, a couple of months ago. Yeah, yah, yeah yeah.
Speaker 8 (01:02:10):
Are we ruling that person out? We're ruling that person out?
Speaker 38 (01:02:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:02:14):
Can I ask you? Are there any people that uh
Wes would be okay with sending you flowers that are
our guys? Or are there anything ye like you would
not be okay with?
Speaker 9 (01:02:27):
Well obvious ones that he would not be okay with,
you know what I know.
Speaker 1 (01:02:31):
But I'm saying like, because because I have so I
have people that make me more jealous with Chelsea than others,
like men that make me more jealous.
Speaker 7 (01:02:39):
Oh for sure, I'm sure West has a nice little
list going of that. Like my my best guy friend, Mikey.
West would not care if it was Mikey, but like
Mikey's not dropping Yeah, you guys, but I know you're
you're not doing that. My gay friends Matt and Justin
like West would not care, but I, like, I had
really kind of ticked off the boxes. And so I'm
(01:03:00):
sweating as I call the florist because I'm like, who
the heck send me these flowers. So the lady answers
and I'm like, Hi, somebody just delivered flowers to my house.
Speaker 9 (01:03:08):
She said, what's your last name? I said Whitlam. And
I'm like, I cannot figure out who sent me these
flowers that say I love you, because they are not
from my husband, and my husband is not in the
best of moods right now. And she starts laughing and
she said, well, they are from a gentleman. I'm like, okay,
and she said, who has the same last name as you? Okay?
And he called from Michigan State, Oh woh, to make.
Speaker 7 (01:03:32):
Sure that you got the flowers. And She's like, ore bad.
They were supposed to be delivered on your birthday. It
was I'm okada, we were closed yesterday. Things got mixed up,
so we're delivering them to you today.
Speaker 1 (01:03:41):
They were from my step son, and West did not
know that.
Speaker 15 (01:03:45):
No, No, he had no idea, he breathed aside, I
was also really proud of Kieran, but I'm so I
had I voiced my mode Kiuran and told him the
whole story.
Speaker 9 (01:03:59):
I'm like, you, Dad's pissed.
Speaker 7 (01:04:00):
He thinks I have some like secret lover that sent me,
you know, a long stemmed white roses.
Speaker 9 (01:04:05):
But it was really really sweet.
Speaker 1 (01:04:08):
Yeah, that is really beautiful that he that he would
do that. That's that's very cool. Yeah, that's uh.
Speaker 7 (01:04:13):
But the way that the florist was like, well a
gentleman called, I'm like, who with this last night?
Speaker 1 (01:04:19):
Yeah? Have were you more wanting to know out of
curiosity at first? And then when you saw Wes's reaction
to it where you then now I need to know
now otherwise this is going to be like a bad
few days here.
Speaker 7 (01:04:32):
Or it was just so because obviously like I'm not worried,
But at the same time, he was getting so.
Speaker 9 (01:04:39):
Pissy with me, and I'm like, why are you getting
pissy with me? And He's like, if the situation was
reversed and I got something that said I love you
and it wasn't signed, you'd.
Speaker 7 (01:04:49):
Be acting the same way. And I said, okay, fair,
I would.
Speaker 8 (01:04:52):
I would be not necessarily mad, but there will be
a certain emotion that would overtake me.
Speaker 1 (01:04:58):
Just period.
Speaker 8 (01:04:59):
If my girl let alone, my wife had got flowers, Yeah,
let alone and say I love you.
Speaker 7 (01:05:04):
That is, he does this thing with this draw when
he's around, and I could see him in the FaceTime
doing nothing with this job.
Speaker 9 (01:05:09):
This is not a good situation, Courtney.
Speaker 1 (01:05:14):
What'd you want to say?
Speaker 50 (01:05:16):
Hi, good morning, happy late birthday?
Speaker 9 (01:05:17):
Saying it thank you?
Speaker 27 (01:05:19):
Question?
Speaker 50 (01:05:20):
Why didn't you check your cameras? I would have been
on my camera so fast to see who that my doorbell?
Speaker 9 (01:05:25):
Well, because it was the delivery company. It was a
flower delivery.
Speaker 7 (01:05:29):
Yeah, Actually the lady from this florist had called me
to say, we have a floral delivery for you. Are
you going to be home because it's so cold outside.
We don't want to leave them if you're not going
to be home soon. So I knew I had flowers
coming home, and again I just automatically assumed they were
from Wes.
Speaker 35 (01:05:42):
Why did Wes think?
Speaker 50 (01:05:43):
His first conclusion is to think that it could be
some secret lover and not like I don't that would
be my first reaction. My life's too boring to have
like a secret lover, but like my first reaction would
be like, is there a stalker hiding in the woods
you're now watching me?
Speaker 1 (01:05:59):
Yeah, that's yeah. Honestly that would be that's an interesting
one too. You'd be more worried about who that who
that person was, that it would it be a stalker
or somebody doing that.
Speaker 7 (01:06:09):
Which you know for us. So I'm sorry that was
on his mind. Without moving too much info away.
Speaker 1 (01:06:16):
But yeah, Chelsea, uh and I were out last night
with our son for dinner, and when we were out
with him, Chelsea in the middle of dinner, looked at
me and goes goes, hey, are you okay if I
go make a phone call? And I said, yeah, no,
What's what's going on? And she's her best guy friend
(01:06:37):
that she dated before dated me, and the guy who
has always been kind of somebody that I've always had
pure jealousy BJ I remember this his dad died and
it was and honestly, it was one of those situations
where she and he are so close and he said,
(01:07:01):
do you mind if I reach out to him and
and you know, say it. And instantly at that moment
when she did that, literally the beat the issues or
feelings that I've ever had for him completely went away
because I realized how tough it is when you lose,
you know, a parent. And then I also realized that
(01:07:22):
Chelsea is such a good person to want to call
him and want to comfort him.
Speaker 8 (01:07:26):
Now tell you about yeah she How would you feel
if she didn't say, Hey, this is what I'm thinking
of doing.
Speaker 1 (01:07:34):
How do you feel? Can I Can I be honest
with you? I felt I felt like an a hole
because why should she even have to ask? You know,
But that's kind of where I made her feel because
of because of you know, my insecurity is about myself
and it's not ever an insecurity about her. It's an
insecurity about myself. But but yeah, he's not no, and
(01:08:01):
and he's a great looking guy. Yeah he's way better
looking than I am. But it's one of those things
that he just doesn't have the money I have and
he's not in the Radio Hall of Fame. So no, no, no,
I'm just kidding. I'm not kidding, but I will say
(01:08:28):
but I will say this, and I brought this, I
brought this up as a topic in the studio before.
And nobody wants to pick this as a topic because
they don't ever want this to be brought up on
the air because there are people that are on the
show that are too afraid of their significant others. Uh,
you know, knowing this. But I we talked before off
the air about about people who are significant others could
(01:08:50):
be jealous of. And I will say this to you,
there are every one of us has somebody that makes
us jealous, even if we're in a very happy relationship.
And and I know this for a fact that I
know for a fact that my wife is a faithful wife.
(01:09:11):
I also know for a fact that she does love me.
But there are certain you know, there's a guy that
makes me jealous because of you know, of me, And
I think each one of us has you know, has
dealt with that in our past. And for some reason,
it's tough to even talk about stuff like this on
the air because it's undoubtedly nobody wants to ever be
known as the jealous type. But we're all the jealous types.
Speaker 9 (01:09:33):
Oh I admit I am. I am very jealous.
Speaker 1 (01:09:37):
Talk about it.
Speaker 9 (01:09:38):
There are people.
Speaker 7 (01:09:39):
Immediately that come to mind, and I'm not going to
name them because they, you know, might listen, that make
me really jealous. When Wes is around or talks to them,
and I know vice versa. He could like I said,
rattle Leffelist as well, So Crystal, what's going on?
Speaker 47 (01:09:57):
Hey?
Speaker 55 (01:09:58):
Yeah, So this just reminds me the time when I
was in middle school and my stepdad was not happy
that I was dating a boy. It was like my
first boyfriend and we broke up. We only dated for
like a week and we broke up and it was
my birthday and he got me flowers and he didn't
write who they were from. It just wrote I'm glad
you don't have a boyfriend anymore. And there was candy
with it, and I was horrified and freaked out. I
(01:10:19):
had no idea who got me.
Speaker 33 (01:10:20):
As flowers and I gave them away.
Speaker 55 (01:10:22):
So then after school, my mom and stepdad were like, oh,
did you get flowers today? And I was like, yeah,
I gave them away. It was really creepy and they
just started dying laughing because they got it for me,
and yeah, freaked me out.
Speaker 10 (01:10:33):
Were they trying to get you out of a relationship
or they were just really happy that you.
Speaker 11 (01:10:38):
Weren't in it.
Speaker 55 (01:10:40):
No, my stepdad was just like not happy that I was,
you know, twelve years old dating a boy.
Speaker 17 (01:10:45):
So he was really happy that we broke up.
Speaker 1 (01:10:47):
And it was an innocent thing. It wasn't like he
was sending him to you thinking making you feel like
it's somebody else sending him to you. Plus you're twelve
years old, with the hell you dating at twelve years old?
For that's like twelve years old dating man? Oh man,
what's up, Emily? How you doing?
Speaker 30 (01:11:04):
So the story reminded me of I really have nothing
to do with birthdays, just flowers in general. I was
a waitress and I had been waiting tables during the
day and later on night I had a date, and
so I went on the date. I thought I would
find whatever. I go back to work the next day
and I get flowers delivered to me at work and
the car just said I really enjoyed talking with you yesterday.
Speaker 36 (01:11:25):
And I was like, oh my gosh.
Speaker 30 (01:11:26):
This and the guy went on a date with last night.
So I took a picture of him and I send
him to him and he's like, I did not send
you those.
Speaker 17 (01:11:33):
I was like, oh god.
Speaker 56 (01:11:35):
And so later, like two weeks later, I found out
it was this sweet old man that I waited on
like one of the tables I had earlier that day,
like at work, but I never went on a date.
Speaker 1 (01:11:51):
Wait where did he send the flowers to? You're to
your work?
Speaker 47 (01:11:54):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:11:55):
Okay, I thought I thought the creepy old man knew
where you live. Like yeah, Suddenly, if he sends him
to your home, that sweet old man turns into the
guy following me in the car.
Speaker 21 (01:12:07):
You know.
Speaker 32 (01:12:08):
Yeah, weird?
Speaker 1 (01:12:10):
Yeah? What's up, Tiffany? How you doing?
Speaker 39 (01:12:13):
Good morning, guys?
Speaker 1 (01:12:14):
Morning, good morning.
Speaker 32 (01:12:17):
So truly, honestly, I've been with my boyfriend for eight
years and he's in a band and he's the Browns
woman all day, every day.
Speaker 36 (01:12:25):
But that doesn't make me jealous. It's the one that
he is actually in the band with that actually makes
me jealous.
Speaker 8 (01:12:33):
His band mats huh the backupstairs? Is there anyone in
the band in particular? And what instrument are they playing?
Speaker 17 (01:12:41):
So she, the one girl that I have a jealousy.
Speaker 19 (01:12:44):
Problem with, is actually technically not like in the band.
Speaker 34 (01:12:47):
But helps the band roady, I know how she helps
the band exactly.
Speaker 1 (01:12:54):
Quick question for you. Does she need to be around
or does she just like to be around?
Speaker 9 (01:13:01):
Is she a worker or a lurker?
Speaker 24 (01:13:03):
She needs to be around, But I don't think she
needs to be around.
Speaker 1 (01:13:07):
I'm gonna do my Vonda right now. Oh no, girl,
you got to move on from that. I'm interesting. I
would get her out of there.
Speaker 8 (01:13:17):
I have you, have you voiced? I guess your your
concerns about her? It's your man. And how does he respond?
Speaker 20 (01:13:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 49 (01:13:25):
I actually have, and he's like, listen, there's nothing to
be worried about.
Speaker 19 (01:13:29):
She's obviously dating somebody else, but.
Speaker 51 (01:13:31):
No one's ever met him.
Speaker 3 (01:13:32):
And that's the weird thing.
Speaker 1 (01:13:35):
When he sings the romantic songs, is he looking out
in the audience or is he looking over in the corner.
Speaker 36 (01:13:42):
Oh no, he's looking out in the audience.
Speaker 54 (01:13:44):
But that's his job.
Speaker 19 (01:13:45):
He has to entertain the crowd.
Speaker 1 (01:13:47):
Yeah. By the way, Shannon knows this well because before
she got her senses, she dated guys like that guy.
Is true.
Speaker 39 (01:13:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:13:55):
Can you ever trust a band guy, Jenna?
Speaker 9 (01:13:57):
Absolutely? Not ever?
Speaker 7 (01:13:58):
Ever, I didn't know all caps bright red flashing.
Speaker 1 (01:14:03):
Now, good luck, tiffany guy, all right, take care of you.
Speaker 9 (01:14:09):
Answer?
Speaker 1 (01:14:11):
Hold on, Jay, I want to grab Jay, last call.
What's up, Jay?
Speaker 14 (01:14:15):
Hey, what's going on?
Speaker 1 (01:14:16):
Guys? Not much? What's going on?
Speaker 32 (01:14:19):
So?
Speaker 14 (01:14:21):
I think it was last year we had some flowers
that were delivered to the house. And I didn't say
who was from. It just said I missed you and
I love you, and and that was it. And my
wife got him and She's like, did you send me flowers?
And I'm like no, because she doesn't really like getting flowers,
and she trying to figure out who they are from.
We couldn't figure it out, and I was like, maybe
(01:14:42):
it's just like a friend, a family who knows. I
didn't think it was a big deal, but my wife was.
It was really bugging her because kind of a note.
So she called the floor company tried to get trying
to figure out who it was, but she but she
couldn't and she was really getting upset about it. And
I'm like, you know whatever. Well, a couple of weeks later,
more flowers get delivered, saying Hey, I'm still missing you,
(01:15:03):
I love.
Speaker 1 (01:15:03):
You, and these are coming to you, right not your wife.
Speaker 14 (01:15:06):
They know, they know they were they were coming to
the to the house.
Speaker 1 (01:15:10):
It wasn't addressed to.
Speaker 14 (01:15:12):
You, Okay, No, Yeah, it was just a random hey,
I miss you, I loved you.
Speaker 1 (01:15:17):
Like what the heck?
Speaker 14 (01:15:17):
Well, I didn't think it was a big deal. I
was trying to. You know, I didn't really look into it,
but my wife she was getting really upset. Well, a
couple of months go go by, Well, my ex wife,
her and her fiance had broken up. And uh, during
that time when I got the flowers, we were going
through court for you know, custody and all this stuff,
(01:15:39):
and and her the boyfriend calls me. He says, hey, man,
what do you want to know? And I'm like, what's
going on? He's like, hey, did you ever did you
get some flowers delivered to you? And I was like yeah,
and he was like, so that was my ex and
her friends. They all got together and they were trying
to figure out a way to cause a fight between
you and your wife before you go that way.
Speaker 9 (01:15:59):
You do, Wow, that is evil.
Speaker 1 (01:16:04):
She wanted to change your mood in the mood of
your new wife while you were going to fight. That's crazy.
But love prevailed.
Speaker 6 (01:16:13):
Mind blowing man.
Speaker 1 (01:16:15):
You're still with the wife, right?
Speaker 3 (01:16:17):
Oh?
Speaker 14 (01:16:17):
Yeah, absolutely, I found out. I told her. Of course.
Speaker 1 (01:16:24):
Thank god that guy did that though and called you,
because otherwise you imagine how bad that would have been
for you.
Speaker 14 (01:16:30):
Oh yeah, yeah, but it worked.
Speaker 1 (01:16:34):
Thank you for the call, buddy. Appreciate it, Dear, I
love you.
Speaker 18 (01:16:40):
I can't believe how much I'm not sick of you. Love.
Deep voice guy on Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 1 (01:16:47):
Oh my gosh. All right, hey, one of the things
I want to talk about in the next hour, and
I'm going to recap the show in just a second,
is I want to talk about the exploding trees. So
remind me we got to talk about the cold weather
being so cold that trees might blow.
Speaker 2 (01:17:02):
Detroit, US next Mesquite and Grandma bibvs S. Tilly and
I are Radio station guaranteed Human three great radio stations,
one stupid show.
Speaker 5 (01:17:15):
Mojo in the Morning, Mojo.
Speaker 3 (01:17:30):
Don't think one.
Speaker 1 (01:17:31):
Let me take you back to the beginnings.
Speaker 6 (01:17:34):
Alrighty ready you're listening to Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 1 (01:17:38):
You're a doo doo ahead, don't go, let's go. This
morning's War of the Roses is up and podcast for you,
and it is doing great. I just got the note
handed to me that we are less than an hour
since we did that War of the Roses and there
(01:17:59):
are are more than Oh this is actually not bad.
It's not as big as we've had before in the past.
But maybe I don't know a couple three thousand from it.
We're more than seventeen thousand downloads right now, seventeen thousand
downloads in less than an hour. And it actually got
up a little bit later than we normally have because
Zach has helped me in the studio. So that's great,
(01:18:22):
not too bad, not too shabby. As Adam Sandler would say,
all right, we got a good show for you coming
up this second half of the Mojo in the Morning Show,
Sending your kid to school sick. Kevin's going to talk
about that with Josiah Anna, And has anybody ever pregamed
before something that they had going on? Anna? Pregaming before
(01:18:44):
a funeral? And who's the person in your office that
you avoid? Well, turns out I didn't avoid him. And
I'll tell you more about that coming up here in
just a little bit. And I got to tease one
last one before the end of the show, Shannon talking
about his big dick. So you'll hear that all coming
(01:19:05):
up right here on this radio program, the Mojo in
the Morning Show. It's Mojo in the Morning. I think
everybody I know has been sick at least once, sometimes
twice to three times. People have been getting and there's
been two different kind of virus things that have been
going around. Number one is the one that I had,
which was the cough, the endless cough and congestion. Number
(01:19:28):
two was the extreme sore throat, the achiness like like
a flu or covid, and then the fever temperature thing.
And then the third one is, you know, the one
that kind of has been getting some people, is horrible
congestion and then feeling like your head's about the freaking explode.
Those are all things that a lot of people have
been kind of faced with. But keV Josiah is homesick
(01:19:53):
right now. Right so he's so he's actually a home
from six School today. H yeah, school SI yesterday.
Speaker 8 (01:20:01):
And what kind of started a couple of days ago,
Josiah woke up and was like, my throat hurts. I'm like, yeah,
I'm just like throw some water on it, bro. But
it was interesting because he didn't have school that day,
so when he said it, it wasn't like you're just
trying to get out of school. It's like, just drink
some water. Your throat probably just dry or whatever the
case may be. He goes on the rest of the day,
(01:20:22):
he acts his normal self. He's up running around playing
his games. Don't think anything of it, drop him off
to his mom's house. They wake, which was yet, which
was the day before yesterday. So I get a call
during the show yesterday. I think it was during a
dirty I run out because I'm like, okay, maybe Jasmin,
you know, need something or whatever the case may be.
She's taking Josiah to school. She's like, hey, just to
(01:20:42):
let you know. Josiah isn't feeling well. I just dropped
him off at school though, I'm like, okay, well what's
going on. She's like, he said his head was hurting
really badly.
Speaker 1 (01:20:51):
He threw up.
Speaker 8 (01:20:53):
Oh no, And I'm like, why is he going to school?
She like, he said he had a test to taking
Global Studies and he didn't want to miss any time.
Speaker 1 (01:21:00):
Something to me, Yeah, it couldn't be me. That's you.
Speaker 8 (01:21:03):
Yeah, yeah no, that's that's my cute that's saying the
band all day. So she's like, just a heads up.
I'm taking him to school anyway because he has to
go take the test, but he may be calling you,
and I'm like, all right, whatever. So I get a
call La and beho, well he called her for some reason.
Ultimately because he didn't want to interrupt me at work
quote unquote. So I go pick him up from school
(01:21:23):
and I bring him home and he is sick. But
then in my mind, I'm like, regardless of the fact
that he wanted to go take his exam, if he
throws up, let's not send him to school. Yeah right, yeah,
Like that's my thought process. I understand you want to
push through love him that he wants to work hard
and you know, get his responsibilities taken care of, but like,
(01:21:45):
he not going to school today. If you're not feeling well,
stay home, bro, Like it'll be okay.
Speaker 34 (01:21:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (01:21:50):
The vomiting is they can't go to school thrown up.
Speaker 8 (01:21:54):
That's old school parenting, Like for real, Yeah, I've thrown
up before.
Speaker 1 (01:21:58):
My mom's like, you got it all out?
Speaker 48 (01:22:00):
Do you like?
Speaker 9 (01:22:00):
You can go to school? And that's what they used
to do My stuff.
Speaker 7 (01:22:03):
Dad growing up was a doctor and my mom is
a nurse, and so they were like, unless you are
bleeding from several areas of your body, you are going
to school.
Speaker 9 (01:22:13):
Like they did not care.
Speaker 10 (01:22:15):
But like puke is that's embarrassing for him if he's coom.
Speaker 1 (01:22:20):
Pukin is one thing I think saying my head hurts
or something like that. You give them a baby talent all,
and you send them on their way, right, But puking
is different, Like you can't because for me, And it's
funny the chanting. You say this because you're both you said,
both parents are medical professionals that are sending you off
(01:22:41):
to a school. I always think that kids get sent
off to school based on if the parent wants to
stay home from work or has somebody to watch them.
Like that's usually the deal that you probably see with
a lot of kids.
Speaker 7 (01:22:53):
I mean for some families, though, that really is a
legitimate thing of like, unfortunately, of course you don't want
to send your time to school sick. But for some
you know, single moms, single dads, there's no other they
don't have an option.
Speaker 1 (01:23:06):
They have to work a single and both parents have
to have to work. But I got to tell you something.
I think that my favorite is the kids who come
to work with their parents here at the radio station.
And they'll come to work and be like, oh, you
know in school day, like, no, he wasn't feeling good,
so you brought him to work right, right, so that
your favorite morning show gets sick. So I kept bringing
(01:23:30):
this up on the air. I wonder, you know if
any Josiah's teachers are like, wait a second, why did
you guys send him off to school yesterday? Because teachers
hate when the kids to school sick. Joe's saying, I think,
he said on the voicemail. His mom shared the voicemail
with me.
Speaker 8 (01:23:44):
He's I should have sent the teas he can play
it because he didn't sound that's sick, to be honest
with you, But he said his gym teacher looked at
him and said he looked tired.
Speaker 1 (01:23:51):
You should probably call your.
Speaker 38 (01:23:55):
Tea.
Speaker 8 (01:23:55):
Haven't so for you, as dad, you have to sound
sick to be said. For me, Yeah, I can always
tell when Josiah is putting it on. Like last night
he laying on the college he kind of laying on
my shoulder. We watching National Treasure because he needs to
be put on the classic shout on Nicholas Cage. And
(01:24:15):
his mom calls and I put her on speakerphone. She's like,
HU say, I'm like, he's fine, talk for a little bit.
And she's like, let me talk to him. And I
put the phone closer to her side, and I'm like,
she's on speakerphone. Just Sie immediately goes, Hi, Mom. I'm like,
you did not sound like that two seconds ago. Bro,
you do not have to put it all like that.
(01:24:36):
Stop playing games. So for Joe is is if he's
in my face, I can tell if he's a weight,
and I'm kind of like you not as short.
Speaker 1 (01:24:44):
I had to do something with Luke. When Chelsea would be,
you know, out of town taking care of her grandfather
that was sick. I would be the one responsible for
whether or not Luke was going to school and shout
out to any of his middle school teachers because he
didn't go to a lot of school back then. But
I used to say that if you were going to
stay home sick from school, you were going to be
(01:25:04):
in bed all day. And in bed doesn't mean playing
video games. Yeah, So I would say, all right, if
you're going to be home, And that's when I knew
he was truly sick because he had nothing, you know
what I mean, Like I would I would even do
my accinity shut off, like you could shut off your
Wi Fi and you can shut off the TV if
you wanted to, and the parental control, and he would say,
I still want to be home, like all right, Well,
(01:25:25):
if you're going to want to stay here nothing, Yeah,
I'm serious. What's up, Katie, It's Mojo in the morning.
How you doing?
Speaker 6 (01:25:33):
Hey?
Speaker 21 (01:25:34):
Good?
Speaker 51 (01:25:34):
How are you?
Speaker 17 (01:25:35):
First time?
Speaker 19 (01:25:35):
Long time on the phone. So I'm a teacher in
the area and the flu was going around our school
so bad that parents were pulling their kids out a
couple of days early before winter break so they couldn't
get sick before a big trip or the holidays.
Speaker 1 (01:25:56):
I mean, yeah, hey, let's talk to you as a teacher.
Prerequisite now for kids being you know, sick, sick enough
to stay home. If your child wakes up and says
my throat is itchy or scratchy, send a school or
don't send it.
Speaker 19 (01:26:10):
Yeah for me, I think if it's paired with something
else like a fever or yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 32 (01:26:18):
It's hard because kids also has such bad allurgies.
Speaker 1 (01:26:20):
Now right, Yeah, if your kid throws up when he
first gets up in the morning, but it hasn't thrown
up in four.
Speaker 19 (01:26:27):
Hours, well, our general rule is it has to be
twenty four hours no throwing up, and they have to
be keeping like food and water down.
Speaker 13 (01:26:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:26:38):
Okay, if your kid didn't finish to the point levels
on roadblocks and wants to continue.
Speaker 19 (01:26:48):
I've got some kids that will share in our morning
meeting that they were up until two a I'm playing
video games, and all of a sudden by afternoon that
they're just about a sleep at they're debt Any kids.
Speaker 1 (01:27:01):
By the name of Josiah Irwin? Is there anybody there
but that? No, no Josiah For me, I think it's
pretty dope. What do you think about a kid like
Josiah though, that wants to go to school because he
really wants to take his test?
Speaker 51 (01:27:14):
Probably the same way.
Speaker 19 (01:27:16):
I mean, if you think about it, by the time
you're back, if you're gone for a few days, they're
on the whole other topic.
Speaker 17 (01:27:21):
You're missing the news stock, you have.
Speaker 19 (01:27:23):
To re study for all of that.
Speaker 1 (01:27:26):
That's amazing.
Speaker 19 (01:27:29):
Yeah, I get it. And we're probably not going to
have school tomorrow after that.
Speaker 1 (01:27:36):
Hey, have a great day. Thank you for what you do.
Speaker 14 (01:27:38):
You guys too, Thank appreciate it.
Speaker 1 (01:27:40):
Hey, Abby, what's up?
Speaker 34 (01:27:42):
Hey?
Speaker 35 (01:27:43):
First time?
Speaker 5 (01:27:43):
Try?
Speaker 3 (01:27:47):
Hey?
Speaker 47 (01:27:48):
I just so when I was in third grade, I
had told my dad that I wasn't feeling too well,
and he sent me to school because it didn't believe me,
and it was after lunch and I had gotten sick
about five kids in choir. Oh what do you mean,
govy Like I'm talking about like threw up. I was
(01:28:08):
on like the tallest kid in my grade and I
had threw up over about five kids. Into this day,
I still don't know who it was in my grade.
Speaker 9 (01:28:17):
Oh oh, that follows you through high school graduation. That story.
Speaker 1 (01:28:21):
Yeah, why were you trying to sing and it came out?
Speaker 38 (01:28:24):
Or yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:28:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:28:27):
Oh my god.
Speaker 47 (01:28:29):
Well then he came and picked me up and he
believed me.
Speaker 9 (01:28:33):
Yeah, I would help you.
Speaker 32 (01:28:38):
Basically.
Speaker 1 (01:28:39):
Oh Jane, what's up?
Speaker 32 (01:28:43):
Hi, I've been a teacher for thirty six years. Wow,
And back to thank you. Back in twenty thirteen, nour
virus went through our building to the point that I
didn't even make it out of the building and we
almost had to closed school the next day.
Speaker 31 (01:29:03):
So we're not in favor of.
Speaker 30 (01:29:05):
The kids coming.
Speaker 9 (01:29:07):
Norovirus is no joke. It hits you. You cannot control
your what your body does, right.
Speaker 20 (01:29:13):
Hannah, in my head, But it wasn't.
Speaker 9 (01:29:18):
No, it's horrible. It's not in your head, it's in
your ass, anywhere it can come out of.
Speaker 1 (01:29:25):
Yucky. Oh God, thank you for the call. Oh hold ondo, dice,
hang up on or too soon? What's up Rachel? What's up?
Speaker 35 (01:29:35):
Hie? So my son's little brother had hand foot and
mouth disease. Oh, his teacher caught it, and he has
an issue with touching other kids. So the email consisted
of with him about touching other kids. Yes, also you
(01:29:56):
should check out the bumps on his hands. I think
he had Oh my god, never sent him home.
Speaker 37 (01:30:04):
Never sent him to the.
Speaker 1 (01:30:06):
Yeah, I think your phone has hand foot in mouth disease.
There's issues with that. Hold on Ashland, what's up Ashland?
Speaker 29 (01:30:16):
Good morning? First time, long time. So within the last
two months, my daughter had the stomach virus where she
was literally throwing up and diarrhea at the same time.
And then she literally was just out of school for
a whole week from the fluez. And she's in kindergarten
(01:30:40):
and she was crying because she couldn't go to school.
Speaker 1 (01:30:43):
Oh, man, that sucks. It's funny though, you know it's wild.
Is that back in the day, a kid that misses
that much school they have to repeat their grade or
go to summer school or something. They'll do something like that. Nowadays,
they actually send you two grades ahead.
Speaker 38 (01:31:01):
Hold on.
Speaker 1 (01:31:01):
Kevin was talking about his mom, how his mom would say,
you got it all out. Tony had a mom just
like that. Listen to Tony's Tony There.
Speaker 39 (01:31:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 32 (01:31:11):
I was sixteen.
Speaker 31 (01:31:12):
I had just come home from a retreat. My mom's
a registered nurse in the er. I told her I
can't breathe, and she's like, you're fine, take some time
and I'll.
Speaker 14 (01:31:21):
Go to school.
Speaker 31 (01:31:24):
So I get to school, I go to school.
Speaker 20 (01:31:26):
I get home.
Speaker 31 (01:31:27):
Oh, I still can't bring We'll call your doctor. Well,
I get there and he says, where's your mother? So
he called her and he felt my Lippi. I had
to collapse along.
Speaker 9 (01:31:36):
Oh my gosh, jesus, how bad did your mom feel?
Speaker 31 (01:31:42):
Pretty good because the doctor, the whole staff, they were
standing ovation for Mother of the Year.
Speaker 1 (01:31:48):
I gotta love that mom.
Speaker 3 (01:31:54):
In the Morning to your Precess on our free iHeart
Radio app.
Speaker 1 (01:31:57):
I never missed Floor of the Roses.
Speaker 3 (01:31:58):
The Second Date, Update a Hole, or the throwbackfro Down.
Speaker 1 (01:32:03):
All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. A lot
of times you like to pregame before you go to things.
This is an interesting pregame though, Anna.
Speaker 10 (01:32:11):
Yeah, so my friends and I back in the day
when we were we were younger, we would find a
reason to pregame any event. We're going to the movies,
We're pregaming it. We're going for a walk, let's pregame
the walk. Like it was always something and we were
drinking a lot. Yesterday, one of my friends that I
used to pregame with was over at my apartment and
(01:32:34):
they were like, I gotta go. Like they had a
viewing or like a funeral or something.
Speaker 39 (01:32:38):
I don't know.
Speaker 10 (01:32:39):
Their aunt died and they're like, do you have anything
to drink? I'm like, what are you talking about. They're like,
I want to pregame the funeral. I'm like, you're pregaming
a funeral, Oh my god, all things? And he or
she's like, yeah, my my whole family, Like we're gonna
go get drinks before it. Like it wasn't just them,
her mom, her dad, like they were all going to
the bar prior to the viewing to get it turned
(01:33:00):
before the funeral.
Speaker 7 (01:33:01):
That's a muris that's an Irish wake?
Speaker 21 (01:33:05):
Right?
Speaker 1 (01:33:05):
Yeah?
Speaker 16 (01:33:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (01:33:06):
I thought it was the craziest thing. I was like,
we pregamed a lot of things in our lives, but
a funeral.
Speaker 1 (01:33:13):
Do you know that my mom's funeral, my dad hired
a bartender.
Speaker 7 (01:33:17):
Why you, guys, if you're still alive when I die,
please please please get me a good bartender.
Speaker 9 (01:33:22):
Oh yeah, well, I guess it would be for you,
it wouldn't be for me. That was part of the
thing that my mom.
Speaker 1 (01:33:28):
My mom knew she was going to die, and my
mom told my dad she like, I want an Irish wake,
And so my mom had two nights of wakes. My
dad had two nights of the bartender set up like
one of those you know how they have, like the
party supply places come with a bar that shows up.
Speaker 9 (01:33:44):
Yeah, because they didn't.
Speaker 1 (01:33:45):
They didn't want to set it up on a casket
or anything like that.
Speaker 4 (01:33:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (01:33:49):
I think this was a little different though, because your
mom wanted that right.
Speaker 1 (01:33:52):
Right, Well, this one is random, person. I think you
got a pre game before almost anything, because sometimes you
need to go with a little bit of a bus
to things like start pregaming our show.
Speaker 8 (01:34:02):
Well we kept us sometimes I'll tell you done it
in a while, but I'm always down for a shotski.
Speaker 1 (01:34:08):
I'm gonna pregame Colleen's Big Things that happened quarter today.
Speaker 7 (01:34:14):
Anna, you weren't a part of the show when this happened.
But my grandma used to be a fixture on the
show and she passed away. I got it's been overally
ten to fifteen years now, and at her funeral, members
of this morning show were tailgating the funeral.
Speaker 1 (01:34:26):
Home, which she loved.
Speaker 9 (01:34:27):
She would have loved it.
Speaker 1 (01:34:28):
It was the best kilgating. Like I'll never forget was
that Alan Parker. Where was the funeral home? So it
was Fletch and myself and Spike and like all a
big group of us and everybody showed up for work
dressed in the regular clothes, and so going to the funeral,
we went right from the radio station. We changed in
the parking.
Speaker 9 (01:34:48):
Lot of the Wei's funeral home.
Speaker 1 (01:34:50):
In the the funniest was the back tailgate of my truck.
My suv was open and we're all kind of staying
there and there's family members like pulling in and looking
at us in the back of the barging line, and
it looked like something like Shannon said, a tailgate at
a Lions game, where it's like the only thing we
didn't have was a grill there barbecuing. Every time that
(01:35:11):
sounds fun, I want to borrow at my funeral.
Speaker 8 (01:35:13):
Now, I've never thought about it, but that's the way
I want to go out, celebrate me past the bottle.
Speaker 1 (01:35:19):
What's up, Carrie, how you doing?
Speaker 57 (01:35:21):
I'm good.
Speaker 58 (01:35:22):
So many many years ago, a good friend that was
very popular at our school and everyone was friends with
a gentleman. He had died in an accident and he was.
Speaker 37 (01:35:32):
Thirty two years old. It was the biggest blizzard.
Speaker 58 (01:35:36):
I can't remember the exact year, massive blizzard. We had
like feet of snow we were getting and their family
runted a giant U haul and had it in the
back of the funeral home. And at the viewing people
were going back there and they had takes the beer
and pizzas.
Speaker 11 (01:35:51):
Oh my god, put a disco ball in there.
Speaker 1 (01:35:56):
What about jumping castles? Can you have those? I just googled,
by the way a party wedding and somebody has a
jumping castle at at one of the weddings that showed.
Speaker 7 (01:36:07):
Up on Now they have these beautiful just all white
ones with like white ball pits and stuff.
Speaker 8 (01:36:11):
Honestly, your son Joe Carbolo having one of those at
the wedding, at the wedding, absolutely at the reception.
Speaker 1 (01:36:19):
Really yeah, I you know what that would be. That
would be an interesting one all of a sudden, the
bounce house and going there. How about how about it
at a funeral though? Could you imagine that if you
guys ever had to be a pall bearer at a idea? Yeah,
my uncle the people who carry out the caskets. Yeah,
I just did that last year. So we had to
(01:36:39):
do that for my uncle Art And uh, I gotta
be honest with you, I wasn't very good at holding
onto that. It was tilting a little bit. Well, they
gave us these white gloves to wear, like we had
to wear these gloves. Yeah, it was slippering.
Speaker 26 (01:36:54):
You know.
Speaker 9 (01:36:55):
I would never want that responsibility.
Speaker 1 (01:36:57):
Do you imagine you dropped?
Speaker 9 (01:36:59):
Yeah, I'm sure that's happened before.
Speaker 8 (01:37:01):
That's why you got to be in the middle, you
know what I mean, Because then the people on the
edge is they got to hold the most weight.
Speaker 1 (01:37:07):
You can kind of ease up a little bit. Erica
played past the bottle at her dad's funeral, Is that right?
Speaker 38 (01:37:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 45 (01:37:13):
We had a bottle of whiskey that we just kept
in the back room, you know where like the family goes,
and we would just go back there and make a
swig every once in a while.
Speaker 11 (01:37:23):
Was Dad a drinker?
Speaker 36 (01:37:25):
No, not at all, but you guys, yeah, that day
we were.
Speaker 1 (01:37:32):
Yeah, you know what, it gives you comfort. I always
say that the best thing of going to, like especially
a close family friend's funeral or somebody, is afterwards, the
after thing going to there's two different kinds that happen.
The more traditional one is they passed like plates of
mostacholi around the people. The other one is they passed
(01:37:53):
big bottles bourbon, you know, and you kind of like
do some drinking and stuff like that. So, uh well,
thank you for my Yeah, yeah, yeah, go ahead after yours.
Speaker 47 (01:38:03):
I was gonna say, after a lot of my aunts
and uncle's funerals we would go to the bar after as.
Speaker 11 (01:38:08):
Well and drink to them post gaming.
Speaker 1 (01:38:11):
Yeah, exactly, Thanks for the call. What's up, Anika, Hey guys, morning.
Speaker 52 (01:38:18):
Morning, good morning. So my grandma passed away a few
years back, and we had her memorial service a few
months later because it had to be in a different
state in Indiana, and we all stayed at like this
little hotel and her we had her memorial at the
(01:38:38):
cemetery and then her memorial service had an open bar
in the basement of the hotel.
Speaker 11 (01:38:43):
Wow, like a open open bar.
Speaker 52 (01:38:48):
Oh yeah, my fait, my dad's side of the family.
Speaker 27 (01:38:52):
Yep, that's how they work.
Speaker 1 (01:38:54):
And how was it?
Speaker 18 (01:38:54):
Was?
Speaker 11 (01:38:55):
It the best funeral ever?
Speaker 6 (01:38:57):
It was so fun.
Speaker 19 (01:38:58):
We were all dancing and drinking and it was it
was great.
Speaker 1 (01:39:01):
You know how they do funeral processions from like the
church to the cemetery and stuff, and you can drive
through sometimes uh red lights and things like that. What
if you got a dui? Oh what if you drank
so much at the funeral that you started faring off course.
Speaker 9 (01:39:19):
And they say that's ever happened to somebody? Please call us?
Speaker 1 (01:39:22):
Oh my god, that would be the call. What's up, Jamie?
How you doing?
Speaker 6 (01:39:26):
Sure?
Speaker 14 (01:39:26):
Are you good?
Speaker 1 (01:39:28):
Not only did you guys have a bar? What did
you have at the funeral?
Speaker 32 (01:39:31):
We had a DJ?
Speaker 10 (01:39:35):
I would like DJ fore fingers mine, I got you
djour fingers.
Speaker 39 (01:39:39):
My grandma was a member of this private club out
in Whitmore Lake and her funeral was actually the biggest
party they've had their almost to date since she died
ten years ago.
Speaker 1 (01:39:53):
Oh that's incredible and what an honor though for her
right to be able to be like the biggest, the
biggest bar tak sure. I always love that. It's like that.
That was kind of one of the memories that I
had as a kid with my mom was how many
people came to the funeral and the wake and then
how many people actually partied and had fun because that
was like the memory now that you always have of
(01:40:15):
your loved one.
Speaker 39 (01:40:15):
Right, Yeah, there are so many people in the bar,
like just to get a drink, it was like three
or four people ahead of you in line every spot.
Speaker 17 (01:40:24):
Of the bar.
Speaker 1 (01:40:25):
Yeah, that's cool, this is a great one. You had
the DJ, Sarah, what did your cousin have at the funeral?
Speaker 30 (01:40:32):
Hey?
Speaker 13 (01:40:33):
He was a huge Elbus fan, so they had an
elbous impersonator and.
Speaker 9 (01:40:38):
We after, I know, my dad's listening right now and
I'm about to get a text to me one He's
gonna want it.
Speaker 46 (01:40:48):
That is a photo bras and everything they said it
was a celebration of life.
Speaker 11 (01:40:51):
Wow, I loved that.
Speaker 6 (01:40:54):
Cool.
Speaker 1 (01:40:54):
Hold on, Robin, what did you guys have at the funeral?
Speaker 35 (01:40:58):
I went to a neighbor's funeral, but they had a
open bar, a DJ, and photo boots three.
Speaker 1 (01:41:05):
Different Wait, one of those photo booths where like you
put on like the the hats and things like that
and signs and everything.
Speaker 19 (01:41:12):
They had money, uh money balls and just you know,
like we have three rooms for photo booths.
Speaker 20 (01:41:19):
It was wonderful.
Speaker 31 (01:41:20):
That's what I want.
Speaker 35 (01:41:21):
I want to bar DJ, except I have to have
cake and ice cream chips.
Speaker 1 (01:41:25):
Wedding Yeah, put that. You got to have like a
will of a living will that you have out a
living will.
Speaker 16 (01:41:31):
Party notes.
Speaker 10 (01:41:32):
Heres just lots of fun and that's the.
Speaker 47 (01:41:34):
Way you should go out.
Speaker 1 (01:41:35):
That's awesome. Celebrate it right, Thank you for the call.
Take care so cold.
Speaker 22 (01:41:40):
I think I saw a squirrel buying and he didn't
blanket on Amazon's Mojo in the morning.
Speaker 1 (01:41:46):
All right, there is Mojo in the morning. Somebody needs
to explain this one to me. The big story that
is going on right now is meteorologists are saying that
it is going to get so cold that we may
see it exploding trees. Some like weather guys. I have
to see if I get these some audio from these
weather guys explaining this thing. But I think they said
(01:42:08):
it was maple trees, that the maple will expand so much.
Speaker 10 (01:42:16):
There.
Speaker 9 (01:42:16):
Yeah, you're right, I think it's crazy. I did not
think this was a real story.
Speaker 1 (01:42:22):
That's how you know it's too cold outside, that it's
so cold outside that the trees are exploding. Man, oh man,
hold on a second, I want to see if I
can find this thing. Yeah, all right, here's the here's
the story right here. Uh a tremenderate they oh my god,
this is actually how they started it. A tremendous freeze
(01:42:46):
and they spelled it with a tree t r ee.
Forecasters are warning of an expectant sub zero temperatures causing
trees to explode from the brutal cold that is expected
to wallop the country. Wallop tree may split and burst
in the Midwest and the northern plains on Friday and Saturday.
(01:43:06):
Because of the Arctic blast, they're expecting temperatures of roughly
twenty degrees below zero. Exploding trees are possible when the
sap inside of the trees expands to a point that
it actually causes the bark to move on the tree
and the tree to open up.
Speaker 9 (01:43:26):
Can I ask you that dumb question?
Speaker 7 (01:43:27):
Because I feel like I remember from science class that
things shrink in the cold and expand in the heat.
Speaker 1 (01:43:35):
Something. I think I remember that in gym class.
Speaker 9 (01:43:39):
No, but for real, I don't want to understand this.
It's like the opposite of what I learned.
Speaker 1 (01:43:45):
I know you would think, though, right that the cold
does that to you, But I think it's the sap
it gets hard, right, it freezes wo, So you sap,
you freezing over there and getting hard. I want to
(01:44:05):
know if when we had the last big cold that
we had. I want to know if anybody has ever
had that happened to them where they had things that,
you know, like their pipes, I know will burst.
Speaker 10 (01:44:19):
Frozen soda can in our freezer here at the station
that bursts.
Speaker 30 (01:44:24):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (01:44:24):
Is that a science experiment or.
Speaker 11 (01:44:26):
I don't know who put it in there?
Speaker 10 (01:44:27):
But it messed up our whole freezer, so WO got
colder and expanded.
Speaker 1 (01:44:32):
Yeah. I have to tell you that I used to
like living in Arizona better than living here. And the
reason why I was we used to do on really
hot days the whole egg on the pavement thing. It did.
It actually would take a long period of time for
it to happen, and it would have to be exposed
all the way to the sun. But it was worth it.
(01:44:56):
It was worth trying it. Hi, Stacy, what's up by?
Speaker 57 (01:45:00):
I'm calling about the tree thing because I heard that
too and thought it was kind of interesting. But when
I googled it, the all the other men were saying
that people just or they named it tree exploding because
that sounded.
Speaker 31 (01:45:13):
Really more like clickbait.
Speaker 14 (01:45:14):
But the trees don't really explode.
Speaker 31 (01:45:16):
They just crack.
Speaker 24 (01:45:18):
Oh, well, you have another I did.
Speaker 30 (01:45:22):
I don't know what Lydia.
Speaker 58 (01:45:23):
Wanted me to talk about, because I did text earlier.
Speaker 1 (01:45:26):
I don't want Lydia. Lydia, I should not want you
to talk about anything. You just ruined our entire conversation about.
Speaker 27 (01:45:31):
Yeah, get the hell out of you. Like this one better.
Speaker 31 (01:45:36):
I was listening to the Joe Show because.
Speaker 57 (01:45:39):
His War of the Roads is I can't.
Speaker 1 (01:45:40):
I don't know.
Speaker 57 (01:45:40):
You guys had a link or something, and Joe totally does.
Speaker 36 (01:45:43):
Mojo's no, he does not.
Speaker 5 (01:45:48):
He does.
Speaker 1 (01:45:49):
Do we have to worry about the exploding in the
northern areas if it gets colder than twenty degrees below zero?
Where do we stand with all of this? Right now? Adam,
if you could kind of be a weather expert for
us as we watch ahead for a cold ass weekend.
Speaker 59 (01:46:02):
This is Pat McAfee's exploding trees are weird. It's I
haven't gotten to experience something. It's when you get those
huge temperature swings. It goes from warm and then temperatures
drop rapids.
Speaker 1 (01:46:14):
Is a meteorologist speaking to not.
Speaker 6 (01:46:17):
Be a complete nerd because no one wants that.
Speaker 30 (01:46:19):
No we do.
Speaker 1 (01:46:20):
That's why we called you. Yeah, well that's pat all right,
Get me a meteorologist time, and I won't swear that.
Why do we get so worried about the swear words.
I know that we can get in trouble. I don't
when we hear a swear word.
Speaker 9 (01:46:34):
We all jump because I don't want to get fine
and I don't want to be in a meeting.
Speaker 27 (01:46:37):
We all don't want to get written up.
Speaker 1 (01:46:39):
Radio jump. We all jump like we saw a tree explode.
What's up, Dwight? How you doing?
Speaker 14 (01:46:47):
Good morning?
Speaker 20 (01:46:48):
Warning far.
Speaker 1 (01:46:51):
You sound like a very intelligent guy. Explain to us
about trees exploding?
Speaker 43 (01:46:58):
Well, uh like like and I brought up like I
can exploding in the in the freezer. Liquid actually is
the thing that expands when it's.
Speaker 14 (01:47:12):
Cold, so like, it's why roads get cracked.
Speaker 9 (01:47:17):
The I'm not following this expand so like so.
Speaker 14 (01:47:24):
Yeah, so liquid liquid under well kind of under pressure.
Speaker 20 (01:47:28):
Its fans, What.
Speaker 1 (01:47:30):
Do you do for a living. I never have asked
you this question.
Speaker 11 (01:47:34):
He's a scientist.
Speaker 43 (01:47:35):
I am not a scientist at all.
Speaker 14 (01:47:38):
I was a nerd in school.
Speaker 41 (01:47:42):
What do you?
Speaker 47 (01:47:43):
What do you do?
Speaker 1 (01:47:44):
Living company?
Speaker 43 (01:47:46):
So I don't sell them, I see them.
Speaker 14 (01:47:52):
I got run in the big Chucks and go to
different companies.
Speaker 1 (01:47:55):
And will you be off on uh tomorrow and Saturdays?
You don't have to like will people's vending machines wait
until it warms up a little bit.
Speaker 43 (01:48:04):
I'm only y'all who they are.
Speaker 1 (01:48:07):
Yeah, you want to hope that everybody's closed. I think that.
I think it's one of those things. I can't imagine
that businesses are going to be open on Saturday. It's
to me it makes no sense either. Very should be home.
What's going on, Amanda?
Speaker 57 (01:48:23):
Hi?
Speaker 48 (01:48:23):
So, like fifteen years ago, I was in a wedding
and about six months before the groom did his family
where they were farmers and loggers, and it was in
the wintertime and they were logging and a.
Speaker 46 (01:48:35):
Tree exploded in his face.
Speaker 31 (01:48:39):
And he had to have facial reconstruction surgery.
Speaker 1 (01:48:42):
Oh my god, that's more than a crack y'all.
Speaker 9 (01:48:45):
Yeah, see that, lady, That is so scary for real.
Speaker 46 (01:48:50):
Yeah, and he had something to do with like cutting
it and the pressure and all of that, but like
it crushed the top of his mouth like his past everything.
Speaker 3 (01:48:59):
Oh my god, he's fine.
Speaker 46 (01:49:01):
Now, you know, but yeah, six months before its wedding.
Speaker 1 (01:49:05):
Wow that is insane. Wow, thank you for the call.
See that. What's up, Stephan? What's going on?
Speaker 5 (01:49:13):
Steph?
Speaker 20 (01:49:15):
Chelse everybody time, long time?
Speaker 6 (01:49:17):
All that?
Speaker 57 (01:49:23):
What's going on?
Speaker 32 (01:49:24):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (01:49:24):
So look I heard somebody say, like in.
Speaker 31 (01:49:26):
Grade school, maybe that liquid contracts like in the heat.
Speaker 14 (01:49:29):
It's actually the opposite.
Speaker 20 (01:49:31):
So liquid will expand in the cold.
Speaker 31 (01:49:33):
Is wide water bottle when you put it in your
freezer or a glass?
Speaker 1 (01:49:36):
Heard liquid.
Speaker 14 (01:49:39):
Gases?
Speaker 1 (01:49:40):
Gases?
Speaker 9 (01:49:41):
That's right, like balloons. Yes, okay, I with thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:49:46):
So Stephan, are we hoping that the trees explode? Like
do we want that to happen just because we can
say we love to see that?
Speaker 20 (01:49:54):
Yeah?
Speaker 14 (01:49:54):
I would love to see that.
Speaker 1 (01:49:56):
I set up like a crime lapt in front of
my maple tree outside my house and hopefully so will
you do it with a webcam so that I can
watch it like I would I would watch that stream.
I would love that boring stream? Ever, can I be honest?
I've watched worse than that. I've watched, seriously, the birth
of pretty much every animal on live streams.
Speaker 9 (01:50:17):
You know what, my ring cam. The maple tree in
my yard is right in front of my ring cam.
Speaker 6 (01:50:22):
We'll have.
Speaker 1 (01:50:24):
Emotion detective off to the left.
Speaker 31 (01:50:26):
I would have to think that if it exploded, my
ring cam would catch the movement on camera.
Speaker 1 (01:50:30):
Let's look on DraftKings and see if they'll post what
time and date and everything that Shannon's maple tree will explode. Yeah,
what's the things taking our money?
Speaker 5 (01:50:41):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:50:41):
What's the right exactly? We'll lose no matter what.
Speaker 22 (01:50:44):

This is your home of war, the Roses busting a cheater.
You'll hear that in less than thirty minutes. First, though,
let's get some dirty on the thirty. In here right
now is Shannon's.
Speaker 7 (01:52:55):
Well as this massive winter stormer as Mojo you call it,
the polar of vortex spin up across the United States
this weekend. Several state leaders have already declared states of
emergency ahead of its arrival. The country bracing for heavy snow, ice, sleet,
and dangerously cold temperatures. Even widespread power outages, windshills thirty
(01:53:16):
below zero, threatening travel, and really hazardous conditions are going
to be created.
Speaker 40 (01:53:22):
I know.
Speaker 7 (01:53:23):
The governors of North and South Carolina have declared a
state of emergency to activate emergency response teams. In Texas,
Governor Greg Abbott activated emergency response resources as well, including
mobilizing the National Guard to come in for the weekend.
This major winter storm is affecting tens of millions of
(01:53:45):
people in thirty five states, and preparations including in Michigan
and Ohio, ranging from road treatments to opening shelters, advising
people to stock up on essentials, and really the big
one is stay off the roads once the storm arrives.
Speaker 1 (01:54:02):
What do you think about the people though, that go
to Meyer and Kroger and buy so much food that
they can't ever eat it.
Speaker 7 (01:54:08):
I think for a lot of people, this is their
chance to eat, like, you know, Cheetos all week food, you.
Speaker 34 (01:54:15):
Know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (01:54:16):
It's funny when people do that, though, when they start
hoarding things like toilet paper during COVID because they are
worried when they hear the thing of you may need
three days worth of supplies. I don't know, I'm gonna
hit the grocery store.
Speaker 9 (01:54:31):
Graph some like somebody like.
Speaker 7 (01:54:33):
You, Anna and I and I specifically say somebody like you,
you don't keep food in your apartment. You've said this,
You really only door dash or eat out, so like
I might go buy a few things.
Speaker 9 (01:54:41):
If I were you bread. Honestly, I could live on
peanut butter and jelly stare, which is for a while.
Speaker 7 (01:54:54):
Yes, seven months after her teeth fell out while she
was performing on stage, her fake teeth? What still her
teeth fell out, Leanne Rymes paid ten thousand dollars for
a wellness treatment in Nashville that consists of removing plasma
from your blood to eliminate inflammatory proteins, toxins, and cellular waste.
Speaker 9 (01:55:17):
She documented the process. It's kind of nuts on her instagram.
So your blood's getting.
Speaker 10 (01:55:24):
Pulled out from that side.
Speaker 7 (01:55:25):
There's a big syner paesion here that separates your red
blood cells from plasma. Okay, the plasma goes up into
this catchbag and then we're replacing.
Speaker 1 (01:55:32):
Your plasma with abuma.
Speaker 5 (01:55:34):
What is that?
Speaker 9 (01:55:34):
So she's got IVS on a mole synthetic. It's a
cost that you already have in your body and it
helps produce more plasma.
Speaker 5 (01:55:40):
Got it? So just.
Speaker 9 (01:55:42):
Yes, and then by taking out my plasma.
Speaker 25 (01:55:46):
The inflammation, toxins, the eis of things.
Speaker 11 (01:55:51):
Yeah, that's a plastic.
Speaker 9 (01:55:53):
Mold, microplastics mold. Everything comes out Yes, it's actually kind
of intriguing.
Speaker 11 (01:55:59):
Love it, don't it?
Speaker 9 (01:56:01):
If I had, if I won the lottery, Yeah, I
mean I would do it.
Speaker 11 (01:56:05):
I just don't want to see it happen to someone else.
That's gross.
Speaker 9 (01:56:09):
Could you mention her teeth falling out public?
Speaker 1 (01:56:11):
Oh my god?
Speaker 9 (01:56:12):
Anyway.
Speaker 7 (01:56:13):
Kim Kardashian a guest on the Chloe in Wonderland podcast
this week. She was talking to her sister about Kanye West,
talking about her glamor routine and a big admission she's
actually a Taylor Swift fan despite all of the public
past drama.
Speaker 25 (01:56:30):
I think people would be surprised that you listen to
Taylor Swift. I think I've said it. I think people
would be surprised. Surprised.
Speaker 26 (01:56:38):
Yeah, I mean it's just I have her, like some
of her older songs in my playlist. I've always thought
she's like a super talented, great artist and do you
like country music? Love country music.
Speaker 7 (01:56:50):
It's interesting, though, because she hasn't really spoken positively about
Taylor since all of that drama went down with Kanye.
So of course that was the clip that you know,
started circulating yesterday. But she also talked about her parenting
choices with her oldest Northwest and made all of the
criticism she's been getting over her fashion choices, her hair,
her piercings.
Speaker 26 (01:57:12):
The one misconception that people might have as like, oh,
she's trying to be her bestie and lets her get
away with a lot like No, Northey actually has a
lot of rules.
Speaker 9 (01:57:22):
The one area is I do let her express herself
and I do let her do that.
Speaker 7 (01:57:28):
Influencer Alex Earl is bringing her life and her family
to Netflix in a new reality series that set to
debut later this year. The show going to follow Alex
behind the scenes as she balances fame, business, friendships, her
blended family. So if you follow her on social media,
you're going to see even more than that in this show.
And Buddy's Pizza was not feeling the love. West Michigan.
(01:57:50):
The Piece of chain announced it is closing the last
of its locations outside of Metro Detroit this week, but.
Speaker 9 (01:57:58):
He said tomorrow Grand Rappers, No, tomorrow.
Speaker 7 (01:58:01):
It's going to shut down its twenty eighth Street restaurant.
I know there were there were locations in Portage and
Walker those have already shut down, so really this one
was the last one.
Speaker 9 (01:58:11):
It's gone.
Speaker 1 (01:58:11):
Can I mention something about pizza, and this is something
that I have no pizza endorsements at all, although I
would love it. If there's any pizza people that would
like me to endorse them, I would love to do it,
and I'll tell you the ones I love. I love Jets,
I'm a huge Jets guy, and I like Hungry Howies
a lot. Actually, I probably would put it right up
there at Chetars. I can't do Little Caesars. No offense
(01:58:33):
to Little Caesars and the Ilitch family. Little Caesar's does
not do gluten free. As matter of fact, they add
extra gluten I think in there just to make me
want to have to go to the bathroom just driving
by one of them. But let me throw this out there.
Buddy's Pizza used to be fantastic and then it got
(01:58:54):
bought out by a you know, one of those private equities.
When it was owned locally, it was the best pizza
in this town. It was they invented the Detroit style pizza. Yeah,
and then, like everything with corporation buying, they end up
expanding and it never gets the quality that it used
(01:59:16):
to have. So I will say this, Buddies people in
West Michigan. You did not experience the true bodies, and
that's why you guys are probably not going there and
that's why they're closing down.
Speaker 60 (01:59:27):
It's unfortunate. But Mojo the Middle Buddies was the best.
Have you gone to the Detroit one, the downtown Detroit Buddies.
Speaker 1 (01:59:33):
I've not eaten at that one. I always eat it.
The one on Northwestern Highway.
Speaker 60 (01:59:36):
You should try that one because I think it's the
like the OG one and they're still yeah, they still
have their og recipe.
Speaker 1 (01:59:42):
It's it's good. Yeah, that's one.
Speaker 11 (01:59:47):
The downtown one just opened, but.
Speaker 1 (01:59:48):
It is good, Zach. The one, the one out by
Mean in Northwestern Highway and Farmington is one of the first.
And I will say this, you know what the best
thing of Buddies pizza is. Aside from the the great pizza.
Speaker 9 (02:00:00):
The thing the soup.
Speaker 1 (02:00:03):
The breadsticks are good. The cheese fries, the loaded cheese fries.
We're so hungry this morning, no joke, try them fantastic.
Speaker 7 (02:00:11):
If you miss anything from today's so go back and
check out the podcast on that free iHeart Radio app.
Speaker 3 (02:00:19):
Directly from the source.
Speaker 6 (02:00:21):
In the morning, He's Dirty on the thirty, You're called baby.
Speaker 1 (02:00:26):
Hey, McKenzie, are you there, Mackenzie.
Speaker 57 (02:00:30):
I'm here.
Speaker 1 (02:00:32):
You're going this morning?
Speaker 12 (02:00:34):
Morning.
Speaker 1 (02:00:39):
You got a pair of tickets for you.
Speaker 3 (02:00:42):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (02:00:44):
You're so welcome. Have a great time. Hang on the
phone for a second. Tickets don't go on sale till
a week from tomorrow to see Pitbull and Little john By. Hey, guys,
give a nice warm welcome to Liliana Lily.
Speaker 24 (02:01:00):
Oh my god, she's not hold on, there's hold on.
Speaker 1 (02:01:08):
She's on the school bus.
Speaker 24 (02:01:10):
You're on the rating station right now.
Speaker 1 (02:01:13):
Hey, it's Mojo, Shannon cav.
Speaker 39 (02:01:18):
Zach.
Speaker 14 (02:01:18):
How are you good?
Speaker 1 (02:01:21):
Happy tenth birthday.
Speaker 9 (02:01:26):
You have a wonderful day, Have the best day.
Speaker 1 (02:01:32):
Tell your bus driver thank you for letting us jump
on the bus to wish you a happy birthday. Okay,
thank you? All right, Dad, make sure she gets a
I don't know what are those carvel ice cream cakes
or something? Okay, well, you know, you know what we're doing.
Speaker 12 (02:01:48):
You know we're doing big, big shout out to Dom's
Bakery in Ipsuloni, Michigan.
Speaker 14 (02:01:52):
We've already had donuts in this morning.
Speaker 1 (02:01:57):
Happy birthday to that cutie pie of yours. Man, your
life changed when that girl came into your life. Guess what,
You suddenly realized that there's nothing in this world that's
more important than that girl.
Speaker 38 (02:02:07):
Right.
Speaker 1 (02:02:11):
A birthday, Oh that's dope. Have have the best birthday. Okay,
all right, bye, guys, tell.
Speaker 6 (02:02:23):
Your bills be damn right.
Speaker 47 (02:02:25):
Need your bills pay.
Speaker 18 (02:02:26):
We'll give you a shot at one thousand dollars in
just a few minutes on Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 1 (02:02:32):
All right, it's Mojo in the Morning. I had something
happened to me yesterday that I think people can relate to,
especially if they're in the office. Uh you know, now
today's an office day. So yesterday I was in the
studio and we were in the midst of replaying where
(02:02:53):
we had a bit from earlier in the show that
we're replaying later in the show. And at that moment there,
it's when I in you guys know this, pull out
the old cottage cheese from the refrigerator.
Speaker 6 (02:03:04):
Meet.
Speaker 9 (02:03:05):
I see meat sticks as part of your report lately,
and gluten free pretzels.
Speaker 1 (02:03:09):
Yeah, and gluten free pretzels. I get my little snacks out. Well.
A person walked into the studio to talk to me,
and it was one of the people from the traffic department.
So we've got our traffic department here, and not always
do I get a chance to ever talk to the
people in the traffic department. There's a few that I
might see, like headphone Guy every now and again in
the in the bathroom. Nice guy. I don't know his name,
(02:03:32):
but I call him headphone guy because he's always got
the he's always got the big cans, the big headphones
over both ears, not like air pods or earbuds in
his ears. So this girl comes up to me and
she starts talking to me for a good period of time,
and she tells me that she really wants to get
another job in the company, like she's not happy with
(02:03:53):
the position that she's in right now because she's an
hourly employee. And she says to me that, hey, you know,
I've got a resume. I don't know if you would
be willing to share this with any people in the company,
but I'd really like to stay here at iHeart and
I would like to work, you know, for whatever. And
even mentioned to me, hey, maybe I could sell advertising,
And I thought, oh, you know, Colleen and Kim, they
(02:04:16):
would love it. They would love this opportunity to find
somebody that has the you know, desire to like go
up and not take no for an answer. And she
was definitely not a no for an answer kind of
a girl. So I said, why don't you do this,
Why don't you send me your resume mojo at iHeartMedia
dot Com. And I said, I'll pass it along to
whoever I know. And actually, I have a call today.
(02:04:40):
And it's so funny because this shows you how connected
I am with this company. Right now, I have a
call today with Bernie the Boss. That's all I know
him as Bernie the Boss is our new big boss
here at iHeart. He's like right under Bob Pittman. And
I have a call this afternoon with him. With Bernie,
(02:05:01):
and uh, I'm going, I mean, you know what I
might until I heard what happened after let me finish
my story, because Anna, when you hear this, I don't
think I should. So I get done with my conversation
with this girl. She leaves the studio and then I
walk out of the studio and as soon as I
walk out of the studio, I got grabbed by not one,
(02:05:22):
not two, but three people who all said what were
you doing talking to her? And I said, what do
you mean what was I doing talking to her? They said,
oh my god, she's crazy. You're in trouble. She's never
going to stop, you know, grab assling you were at,
you know, asking you for a step. She is known
(02:05:44):
as the person in the office that everybody avoids, and
I did not know that because I've been avoiding her
for how long now since we moved into this building,
I've not seen her, I've never talked to her, And
so it got to a point where now I'm like going,
oh crap, because she did send me her resume, which
actually was a really nice resume, and sent me a
(02:06:06):
note with it saying thank you, and she's gonna get
back with me in the next couple of days, asking
me if I had heard of anything that's going around.
But it brought up a really interesting thing. We all
have people that we work with on a daily basis
that not necessarily are the people that we look forward
(02:06:28):
to talking to. I want to know who is the
person in your office that you avoid. She don't work
here no more. He should be a girl in promotions.
But so I don't have that problem anymore. How would
you avoid her?
Speaker 8 (02:06:42):
She was just full of drama, eyes and something eyes
trying to be in something. I always thought something was
worth her input, so I'm just trying to avoid.
Speaker 27 (02:06:52):
Her now, same experience, So I blocked her on everything.
Speaker 1 (02:06:56):
Would what would you do Kevin to avoid her?
Speaker 8 (02:06:58):
Like if you had to watch, I'm not like a
mean person, but you can tell if I'm giving you
one word answers. Yeah, you don't have to be a
genius to be able to speak vibrations. And if I'm
not really giving you eye contact, if everything's like a hm,
regardless of how deep or how expressive the story is
(02:07:18):
that you're telling. If I'm not giving you energy, that
mean I'm not trying to be around you. So that's
what I would do.
Speaker 10 (02:07:23):
She would talk to me like, there's not someone that
I like avoid because I dislike them. But I do
know some of the salespeople that like to talk a lot,
so yeah, it's not that I don't like them. But
sometimes I'm just like, yo, I don't have ten minutes
to stand here and talk, so I might take a
different route.
Speaker 7 (02:07:42):
I had to do that yesterday when I was coming
out of the bathroom and somebody stopped to talk to me,
I'm like, I'm so sorry. I'm not trying to be rude.
I think I have thirty seconds until I have to
do you know, do a spot.
Speaker 1 (02:07:51):
Yeah, it's a Pissons fan. He got season tickets.
Speaker 8 (02:07:54):
He'd be at the game all the time, and he
show up sober, leave drunk, and by the time he
gets ready to leave, he all always trying to talk
to me. Breath beyond blast. Sometimes it'd be loud in here,
so he'd he's trying to get super clothes when you talk,
and I'm like, oh, take the hot breath to that side.
Speaker 9 (02:08:11):
There's a restaurant that I love. I think I've talked
about this before, and there is somebody who works there
that will sit down at my table and just basically
have lunch for dinner with us.
Speaker 7 (02:08:25):
And so if I see that he or she is
working when I walk in, I walk right back out. Wow,
because I'm like, I know that my entire conversation is hygized.
Speaker 35 (02:08:37):
None.
Speaker 1 (02:08:37):
Yeah, it's funny because this person, who you know is
in the traffic department, seems so friendly and came in
and actually was very I would say, I don't know.
She was like she was good with my time, like
she was like you know, some people aren't good with
your time. She actually did. She sat down in a chair,
(02:08:58):
started talking to me, and then goes, I've been talking
to you for too long. I'll just send you the resume,
and then walks out. And I thought, oh my god,
I wish more people were like that, you know, like
I wish more people knew the time to get out
of a room. We all don't know sometimes how to
get into a room. We all definitely don't know sometimes
how to leave the room, you know what I mean.
And I always feel like you leaving the room is
(02:09:18):
a better thing than sometimes getting into the room. But
as soon as I walked out, I'm not kidding you,
three people immediately walked up to me and said, hey,
do you got a second. I'm like, yeah, what's going on?
Oh my god? I saw you talking to so and so.
You better be care And I'm like, it's this gonna
be like a stalking situation right in my own office.
What's up, Holly? How you doing?
Speaker 6 (02:09:41):
Hi?
Speaker 36 (02:09:41):
I'm good?
Speaker 14 (02:09:41):
How are you good?
Speaker 1 (02:09:42):
What's going on? Who's the person in your office that
you take the long way to to the bathroom away from?
Speaker 45 (02:09:48):
I don't have anyone currently, but I did have a
girl that I worked with year several years ago that
hated me, and she used to try to get me
fired all the time because when they hired me, it
took away her overtime. So she was constantly trying to
continue getting overtime still and they were like, you don't
need it. There's two of you now, And she kept
(02:10:10):
like making up live saying that I didn't do my
job and that she was always picking up the slack
and things like that. You with the company, Yeah, she's
no longer with the company. I've been with them twelve
years now.
Speaker 1 (02:10:23):
Wow. Yeah. You know what's funny about that is that
that has happened to our situation sometimes where a person
gets hired and you can genuinely see other people not
supportive of their hiring because their word. How it's going
to affect them, Oh for sure, And it does in
(02:10:44):
certain cases like that where you guys are both in
sales and you might actually take like a client or
two away from.
Speaker 5 (02:10:51):
Them, you know.
Speaker 1 (02:10:52):
Yeap, So I felt that when I got hired here,
really like that people treated you differently that come.
Speaker 9 (02:11:00):
On the show.
Speaker 1 (02:11:06):
We can say that a podcast. I want to know,
we've had post meetings on it. Yeah remember. Oh yeah, yeah, no,
I know, I know Lexi, Lexi, what's going on?
Speaker 33 (02:11:17):
No, actually, Lexie was my soccer I'm Ashley. I worked
at an audi And.
Speaker 27 (02:11:25):
You said Lexi. I said, what's her name?
Speaker 37 (02:11:30):
Yeah, yeah, I thought you said what's her name?
Speaker 33 (02:11:32):
But yeah, this girl she was always nice, you know,
good morning, Hey, how are you? Like, you know, little compliments, hey,
like your hair. Didn't think anything of it. Come to
find out, she was like constantly asking about me through
the office. And I had like other co workers I
was kind of friendly with, and one of them actually
approached me and let me know, like hey, like they
(02:11:55):
were friends with this girl, and they were like hey, Like.
I got to a point where I kind of like
told her, like, you know, you bring this girl up
a lot. She was trying to figure out where I lived,
and she like ended up finding out where I lived.
And it's like it was like a whole thing at work,
Like I I don't know what this girl's deal was,
but you never know. With people's nicest person, you have
(02:12:17):
no idea what they're doing behind closed doors.
Speaker 1 (02:12:19):
Well, by the way, while you're I was paying attention
to you, I want you to know this, but I
was getting a text from somebody in the office that's
listening to us on one of those little Alexas.
Speaker 34 (02:12:28):
That we have.
Speaker 1 (02:12:29):
Yea, I thought about that, insaying the person you were
talking to is literally sitting right by one speakers right.
Oh my god, that's the worst when you get that.
You know it's funny is that I try not to
(02:12:52):
pass judgment on people that I don't know. Okay, So
in this case, I'm going to let this girl either
you know and who knows because of then if I
find her a job somewhere else, she's she's not working
with us anymore. So you know that's my thing. Do
you want to know what this girl did, by the way,
that I thought was pretty funny. And I found this
(02:13:14):
out from one of the people that warned me. She
wanted to get a job so bad outside of the company.
At one point, she was putting her resumes on cars
in the parking lot. What she wanted to she wanted
a job, and she put resumes and cars in the
parking lot and put one of her resumes on the
bosses vehicle that's got the jobs.
Speaker 8 (02:13:36):
No fire, No, that's what she was working for us.
She wanted to unemployment Chase.
Speaker 1 (02:13:41):
She was working for iHeart and wanted another job so
bad that she saw that there were so many different,
you know, companies in our area that she took her
resume and started putting it on underneath the windshiel wipers
of some of the cars that were in the parking lot.
I'm like, wow, that's a pretty bold move right there,
(02:14:02):
All right, Smojoe in the Morning.
Speaker 2 (02:14:04):
Khy Detroit, WUSNX, I'm Skid and Grand Records, donaldy VTS,
Tillydo and Ird Radio Station Guaranteed Human, Real Stories, real laughs,
real dough Lojoe in the Morning.
Speaker 5 (02:14:19):
And Live.
Speaker 6 (02:14:23):
Low Joe in the Morning's Dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 1 (02:14:26):
All right, Shannon with the last Dirty of the morning,
and what is going on at this stuff?
Speaker 7 (02:14:31):
Tom Izzo, Michigan State's head basketball coach, calling out his
own flairer If you missed this. During Tuesday night's game,
sophomore guard Kurtang got lost on defense and gave up
an open three pointer in a game that the Spartans
eventually won against Oregon. After he was called out later
for holding, Izzo took him out of the game and
just let him have it on the bench, telling him
he couldn't even guard his own mom, which is a
(02:14:53):
reference to coach Izzo's ninety nine year old mom, Dorothy.
So he I was asked by a reporter about those
comments he made to his own player, and here's what
coach had to say.
Speaker 9 (02:15:06):
Essentially, he doubled down.
Speaker 38 (02:15:09):
My mother's ninety nine and a half too.
Speaker 6 (02:15:10):
Did she got some game?
Speaker 38 (02:15:13):
No, that's the sad part. She doesn't have game, and
he still couldn't guard her.
Speaker 27 (02:15:18):
When you say something like that, crack a joke.
Speaker 38 (02:15:21):
Oh I was.
Speaker 1 (02:15:21):
I was serious as a jaybird.
Speaker 39 (02:15:24):
Are you hoping that it makes some kind of love
and relax and players they're capable or get.
Speaker 38 (02:15:30):
On the opposite. I'm hoping he's the word starts with
a pee off. I'm hoping that it ticks them off
and maybe he'll play better or angry because some of
it was unstomachable and I haven't said that much this
whole year. So yeah, so he has we're all flying
(02:15:51):
back these lands and he's flying to Appleton Check, USA today.
Tomorrow him and my mom will be going at it
in nursing home.
Speaker 9 (02:16:04):
Truths.
Speaker 1 (02:16:06):
I have to tell you though, that only in this
day and age, what a reporter asked the question of like,
are you like hoping that it's gonna, you know, make
him feel better or whatever. It's like you kind of
know what it is. And I think in you know,
you you've had coaches or teachers and stuff that motivated you,
Like Iszzo motivates right. I don't know if they were
(02:16:28):
doing it for the reasons he is.
Speaker 8 (02:16:29):
But I've definitely had some teachers say some things I'll
never forget that definitely motivated me.
Speaker 1 (02:16:34):
I don't know.
Speaker 9 (02:16:35):
I sometimes you need a tip on your shoulder to
perform better. Sometimes.
Speaker 8 (02:16:41):
Long story, short story. I was in the sixth grade.
I was acting a full eighth graders were about to graduate.
We are practicing our graduation. I'm acting a mister bond.
Sue science teacher grabbed me by my face and pushed
me down to the ground. I was in the this
is at a church we were doing this, said I
went into poolpit.
Speaker 1 (02:16:59):
I was crying.
Speaker 8 (02:16:59):
Next thing I remember he came up to He was like,
you think he's special. I ain't nothing special about you.
Speaker 1 (02:17:04):
Not special. I'll never forget that. So when I accept
my Oscar award, that's going I'll never forget that. So
in the state of Michigan. We obviously have the rivalry,
right Michigan versus Michigan State. And this year Michigan's basketball
team is the best, probably, if not the best, second
best in the country right now, probably to Arizona. And
(02:17:26):
a lot of people define the differences in the coaching
styles of tom Izzo and Dusty Made a coach of Michigan,
And there's a lot of people that say that Dusty
May is going to get better players than tom Izzo
because he does not do that. Like if you watch
him coach, he is not a scream in your face
motivating kind of guy, while Tom is tho is a
(02:17:47):
little bit more old school like that. I like the
tom Izo stuff. You know, I worked well with stuff
like that. Yeah, I got a lot of players. Not
a lot of players work well with that.
Speaker 5 (02:17:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (02:17:57):
How many national championships he may want? Well, yeah, no,
I know that's an a llegitate question. I none, zero.
Speaker 1 (02:18:06):
But the better question is how many you know, uh
NCAA tournaments has he gone to? Because Tom I is
oh a better question because of I think that the
more you know tom Izzo's won one, some people will say,
all right, he's just got one. But he's consistently in
the tournament. Dusty may might be, you know, the coach
(02:18:28):
of the future.
Speaker 8 (02:18:28):
Would you rather win Big Ten championships or national championships?
Speaker 1 (02:18:32):
Honestly, I listen, I already said it. I think Tom
Izzo is the guy that I would want to play for,
and I would rather win a championship. But a lot
of people as the national championship. Yeah, but Dusty may
might be the you know, his style might be different
for players nowadays. I looked at that coach at Indiana
and how he never smiled on the sidelines, and I
looked at that going I wonder how many players could
(02:18:53):
play for a guy like that? You know what I mean?
That that is like an old school kind of a
kind of a coach.
Speaker 38 (02:18:58):
What did you do?
Speaker 7 (02:18:58):
An update on a story we talked about earlier this morning,
former University of Michigan head football coach Sharon Moore supposed
to appear in court for preliminary hearing about forty minutes ago.
It got bumped until noon today. So he's facing charges
of third degree home invasion, stocking breaking, and entering. Going
to be a pretty boring kind of you know, court
(02:19:18):
appearance unless there's a plea deal.
Speaker 9 (02:19:20):
That's a great question.
Speaker 1 (02:19:22):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (02:19:22):
I don't know if it's just as attorneys, but yeah, yeah,
so noon is when they're gonna start that.
Speaker 9 (02:19:28):
OSCAR nominations just came out. Ryan Coogler's Sinners making history
by snagging sixteen nominations below and past the three way
tie of fourteen nominations for a single film held by
All About Eve, Titanic and La La Land. I'm watching
it tonight, by.
Speaker 7 (02:19:46):
The way, a big surprise, Kate Hudson nominated in the
Best Actress category for her role in Song Sung Blue,
that musical that follows two performers who form on Neil
Diamond tribute band. Also, seventy three year old Delroy Lindo
received his first OSCAR nomination for his role in Sinners.
Speaker 9 (02:20:04):
Some snubs.
Speaker 7 (02:20:07):
The Testament of Anne Lee, the historical musical drama that
follows the rise of religious leader Lee played by Amanda
Scifred and the Shakers, was completely shut out, so was
Wicked for Good zero recognition from the Academy, despite buzz
around Cynthia Arrivo and Ariana Grande, as well as some
new original songs that were made just for that movie
(02:20:28):
and then Hamnet star Paul Mezcow skipped over as well,
I'm not going to give you all of the nominees.
Speaker 9 (02:20:33):
I'll just do best picture for now.
Speaker 7 (02:20:35):
Bogonia F one, Frankenstein, Hamnet, Marty Supreme. One battle after another,
the Secret Agent, Sentimental Value, trained Dreams, and of course centers.
Former First Lady Michelle Obama on Call her Daddy this week,
and one of the things that she talked about was
how she always gives the advice to women that you
should absolutely never quit your career when you decide to
(02:21:00):
have and raise children.
Speaker 54 (02:21:01):
Be more honest about the struggle trying. I try to
do that, you know, And I am constantly telling young
mothers like it's coming right, you don't have to get
off your career track. And I don't even recommend it,
because kids grow up fast and then they're gone, like
you've sacrificed everything. And you know when they lead, they lead,
(02:21:24):
they close the door and act like you never sacrifice.
They're like, I remember you, I don't need you anymore,
right because now what I'm gonna do. I devoted everything
to you and I need to now I've got to
fill my time. So I always I encourage people to
hang in there and keep something for yourself.
Speaker 1 (02:21:48):
Is she saying that in a way that says her
two daughters don't ever connect with her anymore.
Speaker 9 (02:21:53):
I mean, I don't know how you want to read
into it, but it's interesting.
Speaker 41 (02:21:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (02:21:56):
I don't know.
Speaker 21 (02:21:56):
If I.
Speaker 1 (02:21:58):
Watched that interview, I was kind of shocked at Like
if I was interviewing first Lady Obama, I would call
She kept calling her Michelle, and I thought that that
was interesting, like do you call her Michelle or do
you respect and call her missus Obama or whatever? Like
I don't know what the friendship level is of the two,
(02:22:22):
but she kept saying Michelle, Michelle, Hey, Michelle, what's going on?
And I don't know, I could could if we were
doing that.
Speaker 7 (02:22:28):
Alex Cooper's style, though, is very casual, laid back.
Speaker 9 (02:22:32):
People come in like their cozy clothes are.
Speaker 1 (02:22:35):
The wonder Because I don't know, I saw that, it
kind of made me think, oh my gosh, Like I like,
if I was interviewing former President Obama, I'd call him
President Obama, you know what I mean?
Speaker 7 (02:22:44):
Like and Leslie, Lululemon under scrutiny once again. The workout
clothing brand has been forced to pull a new line
of leggings over some quality issues. Remember the story from
a couple of years ago. They're see through, so bending forward,
child's pose, doing squat the gym and big Nope, unless
you want everyone to see your cheeks right through your leggings, ladies, and.
Speaker 9 (02:23:04):
With Lulu's price point, absolutely not so.
Speaker 7 (02:23:07):
This week, Lululemon had to pause online sales of its
new Get Low workout line after customers reported they were
totally see through. So the Get Low collection, I think
you can still buy it in stores, It's just not
on the website right now. A brand spokesperson said. Lulu
expects to bring back the collection to its North American
website as soon as it possibly can. Do you miss
(02:23:29):
anything from today's so go back and listen to the
podcast on the free Iheartwater Lab, Get more.
Speaker 18 (02:23:34):
Jerded Mojo in the Morning dot com.
Speaker 6 (02:23:37):
Mojo in the Morning's dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 18 (02:23:42):
I'm pretty sure I just keep the car next to
me with my nipples today.
Speaker 1 (02:23:45):
It was cold. This is Mojo in the Morning, all right,
It is Mojo in the Morning. Show phone numbers eight
four four, Mojo Live eight four four six sixty five
six y five four eight. We're gonna learn something or
we have, because I know Shannon ed ment in this
one time before to us about her husband, and it's
something that quite honest with you, I automatically just assumed
(02:24:08):
because really, well, because you.
Speaker 7 (02:24:13):
Require this in a man, what are you talking about
his big dick? Wes will be so embarrassed that I'm
telling the story. Maybe not, I don't know. It's pretty comfortable.
Speaker 1 (02:24:27):
His big dick.
Speaker 9 (02:24:27):
Just to have it being talked about, I think is
probably not un want Shannon.
Speaker 1 (02:24:31):
If I had a big dick, I would want it
talked about. I would put a billboard up on the
side of the road, not even one of those electronic
rotating billboards, stand still billboards.
Speaker 9 (02:24:41):
Cannot believe that this came out of my mouth.
Speaker 7 (02:24:44):
So the story is Wes bought two pairs of Deans
from a very very nice store at the Mall, one
of his favorite stores in fact, a couple of months ago,
and they were kind of pricey, and both of them
wore out in the crotch, you know how that happened,
And then you like, the fabric starts to get thin, thin, thin,
(02:25:04):
and then there's like holes there and he was like,
you know, I paid a lot of money for these,
and I feel like this isn't the quality that one
would expect from this store, especially with a price tag
like this. So he we I was with him, went
back into the store to see if they would do
anything for him. He brought the two pairs of jeans,
(02:25:26):
and the guy behind the counter like took him in
his hands and he's like, well, what happened here?
Speaker 40 (02:25:30):
And I.
Speaker 9 (02:25:32):
His big dick.
Speaker 1 (02:25:35):
Oh you must have big peanis why.
Speaker 9 (02:25:38):
I said that.
Speaker 11 (02:25:39):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (02:25:42):
The guy looked at me and it was such an
awkward moment and I was like, I'm just kidding. I
would I was just kidding. And then I was like,
I'm going to go across to a ritya. You guys
finished your transaction. I cannot go back in that store.
I cannot go back in that store.
Speaker 1 (02:26:01):
Did they all look surprised when you said that.
Speaker 7 (02:26:03):
No, it was just one guy who was helping us,
and it was you could tell it made like he
didn't think it was funny.
Speaker 9 (02:26:08):
He made him really uncomfortable.
Speaker 1 (02:26:10):
It made him uncomfortable. Yes, okay, that's interesting. I actually
will tell you this. He might be uncomfortable because he
has a little Penis. That man, the man.
Speaker 9 (02:26:24):
He's not going to judge this man, but he's very nice.
Speaker 1 (02:26:28):
And across from Aritzia. Now I'm gonna have to go
to the mall and see what stores across from a
Ritzia figure out exactly where he's at. They heedt Penis, Matt,
it's funny. It is funny. Can you with a large junk?
Could you wear out your pants that much? Because I
have big fat thighs and they rubbed together and I
(02:26:51):
always wear out the the sides of my pants, Like
my my pants get worn out in the thigh areas
there where the fat thigh I don't get it in
the crotches.
Speaker 9 (02:27:04):
Well, maybe take your jeans back to the store where
you purchase them and tell them there was a little issue.
Speaker 1 (02:27:08):
Well they would they would say, there's nothing we can
do about it. You're wearing through your thighs because your
thighs are fat, big dick joke aside.
Speaker 7 (02:27:14):
I was actually very impressed by this store and their
customer service because they sent him to new pairs of genes.
They did, yes who I don't know if it's their policy,
but they made good and they were like, Nope, this
is not acceptable and send them to new pairs of jeens.
Speaker 35 (02:27:29):
I like.
Speaker 1 (02:27:29):
I like the brands that do that. Yeah, if you
have something that goes wrong, they'll just you just you know,
tell them, hey, it went wrong, and they'll send you
new ones. So I actually I remember when I was
a kid, one of the writing projects we had in
middle school was we had to write a company that
we had a bad product experience with and see if
they would write us back, because we were learning how
(02:27:51):
to write, you know, business letters, And I wrote bubble gum,
bubble gum and told them that their gum wasn't soft
for a long period of time, awkward to bring talking about.
Did they write back? They did? They sent me back.
They sent me a thing for a twenty five pack
of gum kav It was great and gave me gum.
(02:28:12):
So that's interesting, Kevin. Do you ever wear out the
inside of your pants in the crotcher? I have joggers
that are you know, you kind of go through that.
I don't know what it's from now, could be washing,
could be you know a few different things. Yeah, I
hate that, by the way. Yeah, I hate when I
hate when your pants fringe in things like that, Like,
(02:28:33):
I hate that like, what do they call it on?
I always get pilling on sweaters too, like underneath my fat.
Oh I just bought something on Instagram yesterday that gets
rid of that? Really, yes, I'll bring it in. Yeah.
I hate that when that When that happens on my sweater,
I always get like it's awful. So so the the
(02:28:54):
the store that he was going to for this, they now,
you know, nobody gave him like a hey, maybe you
should buy a bigger pair of pants or something like that.
If somebody has a large where is long what's his name?
Baby leg jot to say, uh, ask baby j if
(02:29:20):
baby leg j ever has to like do you have
to buy like I have? I have a problem with something.
I'm a tall guy. Okay, so I'm kind of tall.
And the thing that I always hate is when I'm
buying a suit at a uh you know, Nordstrom's or
Macy's or whatever, staying liberty. Now is my that's my
(02:29:43):
It's just you know, as the kids would say, that's
my jam because they make them for you. But I
hated when I would buy the off the rack suits
because I would have to wear a tall because I
had long arms and stuff. But the pants, the long pants,
the the penis thing like a zipper is meant for
(02:30:04):
Shaquille O'Neill, not for you know, mojo. It's literally mean the.
Speaker 9 (02:30:09):
The actual like this right here though I can't see you,
but hang on, let me.
Speaker 1 (02:30:13):
Okay, the thing right here that comes out like my
zipper here and my Grayson Joggers is short. Okay, it's
like really short.
Speaker 9 (02:30:22):
Uh huh oh, I got you.
Speaker 1 (02:30:25):
So it's yeah, like the and so I'm talls. So
I so I've gone into I got a suit at
north Strom's way before I found State and Liberty. And
the suit at north Stroms that I got, I actually
convinced the girl at north Stroums change the pants with
the right the you know, the normal pants. And so
some guys walking around with big old crotch area on
(02:30:49):
his short pants. A short guy's got a big you
know crouch. Now, But when you buy clothes, do you
have to buy one size up based on boob size
and penis size?
Speaker 6 (02:31:02):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (02:31:02):
What's up, Layla? How you doing? Hi Leilah, Laila, Hi Leayla.
She's there somewhere maybe there we go well you know
what ka, Layla?
Speaker 41 (02:31:20):
Uh?
Speaker 51 (02:31:21):
Yes, go ahead, yeah, I get chub rub where my
pants ripped in the THI area.
Speaker 14 (02:31:29):
Show call it when we have to go get chub rub.
Speaker 1 (02:31:33):
Shout out to the big girls. We love them. I'm
telling you, I'm a big dude and I get chubb
rub all the time. To Erica, yeah, it sucks that. Hey,
whatever is it the inner chub?
Speaker 5 (02:31:45):
Oh?
Speaker 19 (02:31:46):
And first time, long time?
Speaker 1 (02:31:50):
It is the inner the inner one right, it's the
It's the inside of your thighs that wears out fast.
Speaker 13 (02:31:57):
That's where the like the scenes are.
Speaker 1 (02:32:00):
Do you know what the worst moment in your life
is not when a family member or friend dies. When
you have to throw away or get rid of your
favorite pair of jeans. It's like, seriously one of the
most depressing days every.
Speaker 36 (02:32:16):
I just had to do that and I wanted to cry.
Speaker 1 (02:32:19):
So it is so sad because they're worn in so perfectly.
Have a great day, Erica. We love you for that,
for listening and admitting that. What's up, Jen Mojo?
Speaker 47 (02:32:29):
If may you feel any better?
Speaker 19 (02:32:30):
I heard shack is a small penis too?
Speaker 1 (02:32:32):
Do you really?
Speaker 11 (02:32:34):
How did you hear that?
Speaker 1 (02:32:36):
Breaking dirty break?
Speaker 17 (02:32:40):
I scroll a lot and it was on something that
someone came out and like outed him for having a
small one.
Speaker 1 (02:32:46):
Are you sure though, that he doesn't have a normal
sized penis for a normal person. It's just that he's
a large man.
Speaker 16 (02:32:54):
You know, that is the possibility.
Speaker 1 (02:32:56):
I'll ever remember porns on in Super here and that
was that was in the book. She talked about Shack.
Speaker 8 (02:33:10):
She talked about Shack, She talked about young book from
She talked about a lot of people.
Speaker 1 (02:33:14):
This was like a big thing back in the day. Really,
super Would you be upset if somebody wrote a book
and put you in their book talking about your penis?
Or would you look at it as I made it?
Speaker 32 (02:33:28):
Well?
Speaker 8 (02:33:28):
I mean, I guess you rung that risks. You know,
you run that risk whenever you're dealing with somebody that
you're going to be if you're a part of their life.
You could be a part of a book, You're part
of a story. Yeah, I'll be with you.
Speaker 1 (02:33:44):
I feel fine though, having the sized penis that I have,
because to me, I already have enough problems trying to walk,
and I don't know if I want to have issues
walking with an elephant trunk? You know what's up trying?
Speaker 20 (02:34:01):
Hey, Mojo, Yeah, so about the holes in the pants,
I got the innerside problem too. My dad taught me
by duct tape, and you can put it on the
inside and the outside and you can pick whatever color
you like.
Speaker 18 (02:34:16):
It doesn't look.
Speaker 1 (02:34:18):
It doesn't look weird though. People don't notice that you
got duct tapes in your pants.
Speaker 20 (02:34:23):
Okay, then you asked them, why are you looking at
my inner size? That's an odd spot to be staring at.
Speaker 1 (02:34:31):
But wait, well taken. Thank you, Trent, I appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (02:34:36):

(02:35:14):
We appreciate when you do that. Phone numbers eight four
to four. Mojo Live Text is ninety five five zero zero.
If you hear something and you got something to add
to it. Text call me and we will have our producer,
Lydia call you. My ex was the best, Kevin. Yes,
what's going on is this is about somebody else about you?
Speaker 8 (02:35:38):
I mean, I've dealt with this in the past, but
since I've been on this show, I feel like I've
always vocalized my opinion, especially when prompting.
Speaker 1 (02:35:46):
When someone asks me a question, You're very honest.
Speaker 8 (02:35:48):
Yeah, But since I've been on this show, down, I
guess I'm sharing more of my opinion. My friends and
my peers ask me more questions these days, or ask
for my advice. So a friend of mine's gotten a relationship.
He was like, you ever dealt with a situation where
you are in a new relationship, You're committed to this person.
This is your person, Uh, y'all obviously having sex, but
(02:36:10):
they're not as good as your ex was?
Speaker 1 (02:36:12):
And what do you do in that situation.
Speaker 8 (02:36:15):
Where not every time, but when certain things take place,
you'd be like, yeah, I enjoyed it.
Speaker 1 (02:36:21):
It was good, but it was nothing like the past.
Speaker 8 (02:36:26):
And I have been in that situation, and you know
I told them what I told them, and you know
there are certain sacrifices I think you make in relationships.
And sure you can code, sure you can teach, but
you know, sometimes people enjoy doing that, some people don't
want to have to do that. And even when you do,
I guess there's a learning process that has to take place,
so it's not like that pleasure is going to be immediate.
(02:36:49):
But I think at that point you just got to
decide if you if it's bigger, if it's a big
enough deal for you to say, hey, this isn't gonna
work out.
Speaker 1 (02:36:56):
But that was my advice.
Speaker 8 (02:36:58):
I didn't know if y'all have ever dealt in that situation,
or if there's alternative advice, or some people are just like,
I can't be in this relationship because sex is a
huge part of what a relationship is for me to
be happy, and if this is going to be my
forever person, and we got to get this thing together
because I can't be thinking about my ex every night.
Speaker 7 (02:37:15):
I guess my advice would be similar to yours, but
also to think about, like, well, all of the other
things must have outweighed how good the sex was, because
you guys aren't still together, so those things definitely held importance.
Speaker 1 (02:37:27):
I don't know, you know what I meantimes, I think
sometimes circumstances lead you to not be in a relationship
with them, And I don't think sex is as important.
Is enough to hold on to somebody though, No, for sure, Yeah,
I mean depending on why y'all broke up, though, I
think that I think it's interesting because I think that
(02:37:51):
sometimes it's not the sex that is better, it's just
the place that you were in at that time was better,
you know what I mean. Like, I think there are
definitely times sexual experiences that I had that were like,
oh my god, that was crazy, but that is, you know,
an experience, but consistency of things. It's just that you're
(02:38:13):
in a better relationship or we're in a better relationship
maybe at that time. I don't know.
Speaker 8 (02:38:18):
I think all things can be true. I think I've
been younger in life and have had you know, wild
exciting times and maybe that enhanced the experience or it
was just playing better And like it wasn't the age,
it wasn't the time I was in.
Speaker 1 (02:38:31):
It was like this person knew what she was doing
and that was fire. Really, so do you she had
these days? I think she got a boyfriend, she's got
a boyfriend.
Speaker 7 (02:38:44):
So every person that you have sex with, Now do
you go, all right, that was great? She's not as
good as Brittany?
Speaker 1 (02:38:51):
Yeah sure, so.
Speaker 8 (02:38:53):
Well no, no, no, she's not the market. It's so crazy.
Men said five times. It is what it is though
not the mark. But you just you never forget your best, right.
Speaker 10 (02:39:03):
But I think you could coach like you said that,
like if they hit every other box, I will say, though,
try to coach them a little bit.
Speaker 7 (02:39:11):
There is such a thing as sexual compatibility, and with
like with some people, you are just you know, everything
maybe great, but you are just not a sexually compatible couple.
Speaker 1 (02:39:21):
And it is you know, has anybody ever coached somebody
like that? It's an interesting comment to make, like you
coach somebody to be better at sex. I don't know.
I don't know if people are coachable.
Speaker 10 (02:39:32):
I mean they can do it in an interesting way,
like hey, I really like when people do this, Like
that's how you.
Speaker 9 (02:39:39):
Yeah, coach them, coaches, see people, I would really like
it if you did this.
Speaker 1 (02:39:47):
You imagine coach tom Izzo saying you couldn't. You couldn't right,
like my mother, I go with this. Would you answer
this question or did you say, I plead the fifth.
If you got done having sex with somebody and they
asked you this question, who is better and bad me
(02:40:08):
or your acts? Would you answer that question?
Speaker 8 (02:40:11):
Honestly, I haven't been asked that directly, but the conversation
has come up to where I really enjoy this action
and you're not the greatest at this action. You said that,
not verbatim, but like that was the context of the conversation,
(02:40:31):
and in all honesty, you know, that wasn't something that
they had a lot of practice at practice that, so
they weren't the best at it. And I had no
problem telling them, like, yeah, you're not the best. It
got better, but it was never like you know what
I'm saying, they didn't have a love for the game.
Speaker 1 (02:40:48):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 7 (02:40:50):
Ask that question because like I know what I'm good
at and what i'm good at. I'm pretty fully aware.
Speaker 1 (02:41:00):
You know what are you not good at? I'm how
you doing?
Speaker 49 (02:41:09):
So my first comment is, Moljo, You're absolutely right.
Speaker 17 (02:41:14):
Not everybody is teachable.
Speaker 47 (02:41:17):
Not everything is coachable. Some things you kind of it
to learn as you go a situation.
Speaker 51 (02:41:22):
But I'm with Kevin on it.
Speaker 17 (02:41:25):
As sexual sex is a big part of a relationship, and.
Speaker 32 (02:41:28):
You know that.
Speaker 51 (02:41:29):
If I can't connect with you that way, then I'm
moving on.
Speaker 11 (02:41:34):
I'm moving forward.
Speaker 47 (02:41:35):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 11 (02:41:36):
Uh, it'll be a.
Speaker 47 (02:41:37):
Very short lived relationship.
Speaker 1 (02:41:39):
Taylor, Taylor. What happens though, if you're in a relationship
with somebody and they are the meanest of mean people,
but the sex was good, and now you've got somebody
to treat you amazingly in every way except for does
not treat you in the bedroom the way that you
want to be treated. You would throw that away.
Speaker 47 (02:41:58):
I would throw them both away, absolutely.
Speaker 51 (02:42:02):
Out there.
Speaker 1 (02:42:03):
There's not enough good fish out there for you to
be throwing stuff like that away.
Speaker 19 (02:42:06):
Though, you were saying about.
Speaker 47 (02:42:09):
If someone asked the question who was better in bed?
Speaker 8 (02:42:13):
Me or your ex?
Speaker 36 (02:42:15):
Don't ask stupid questions.
Speaker 51 (02:42:16):
Don't ask.
Speaker 12 (02:42:17):
Don't ask questions you don't.
Speaker 36 (02:42:19):
Want the answer to.
Speaker 19 (02:42:20):
It's because if someone do you.
Speaker 47 (02:42:21):
The answer and now you're upset, Well you asked the question, that's.
Speaker 11 (02:42:24):
Your own right.
Speaker 1 (02:42:26):
Wow, thank you for the call. I appreciate it. There, Dana,
what's up?
Speaker 6 (02:42:32):
Hello?
Speaker 51 (02:42:33):
You can absolutely coach your partner in bed?
Speaker 32 (02:42:36):
Absolutely have you coached?
Speaker 19 (02:42:40):
I have coached my husband.
Speaker 51 (02:42:42):
I have coached my husband.
Speaker 1 (02:42:44):
Would you coach him.
Speaker 51 (02:42:45):
I was just like, so he was one of those
guys where he, like when we first started dating, he
was he was very whole of himself.
Speaker 14 (02:42:53):
He was like, oh, I'm the best.
Speaker 51 (02:42:54):
He had a very big ego, like yeah, And I
was like, I was like, I wasn't really, I wasn't
the best I ever had, you know. And I would
tell him kind of like Okay, I like it like this,
or you know, if you go slower here or faster here.
But I think if you have open communication with your
partner and your goal is to really please your partner,
you can absolutely get there.
Speaker 1 (02:43:12):
Do you do while you're in the game or do
you do it at a break moment or afterwards? When
do you coach? Do you coach while you're doing it?
Speaker 51 (02:43:23):
If it's something that like there was there was there
was one time where I interrupted during it was but
he saw my face. He saw my face, so I
had to say something. But the other times, I he's
like he said things to me after too that you know.
But I think it's like you're trying to get to
the point where you can please your partners the way
they want to be satisfied.
Speaker 1 (02:43:41):
If he's hot in the middle of it, Like in
the middle of it, when you're like no, no, slow down,
slow down, or when you move hands.
Speaker 34 (02:43:50):
Yeah yeah, keep it there, keep that pace, Like oh
my god, I'd be done at that moment right there.
Speaker 1 (02:43:57):
I'd be like it's over.
Speaker 42 (02:44:04):
What Hi?
Speaker 13 (02:44:05):
How are you guys?
Speaker 24 (02:44:08):
So I love what you guys are talking about. I
love the sexual positive talk. I truly believe that it
is coachable.
Speaker 44 (02:44:16):
It's very built on connection and if you both are
committed to wanting to reach that same climax, you're both
gonna do it. But sometimes you know, it's how you
say it too. You never want to make someone feel bad,
and how you're coaching them. You always want to make
it a good experience. So I also believe it's how
you're presenting.
Speaker 1 (02:44:35):
It and the positive reinforcement first and then the negative
like you know, you were really good.
Speaker 44 (02:44:41):
At I'm very like in the moment type of person
like you were saying, mojo like it's I just I
kind of like so like shift it to happen and
like talk it and when they see your reaction, it
makes them excited, and I feel like they just keep.
Speaker 14 (02:44:57):
Doing usually what you like.
Speaker 44 (02:44:59):
So it's like guiding in the moment, so I try
to catch it in the moment, and then usually next
time they remember that, and then they're already doing that,
and you kind of just build with each other because
I've always been in long term relationships, so that's actually
like my my style, So you definitely can build off
of it, and you can get kink here and more fun.
Speaker 37 (02:45:19):
It never can get old.
Speaker 24 (02:45:20):
You just got to keep exploring new things together.
Speaker 1 (02:45:22):
Why I always like watching game film of what we did,
you know, just to make sure that I'm making sure.
I go back to the game film and they.
Speaker 11 (02:45:30):
Say, Chelsea, right from the game film, that's going game.
Speaker 1 (02:45:35):
Film is game film is good? And then tell you
have like a telestrator like the announcers have during the games,
like Kirk Curve Street does theoar. This is when Mojo
really didn't get Chelsea's attention, and what's going on? Adriana?
Speaker 20 (02:45:50):
All right, my name is.
Speaker 58 (02:45:51):
Daisy right now.
Speaker 29 (02:45:52):
I thought about it.
Speaker 9 (02:45:53):
We're just going to change it today.
Speaker 1 (02:45:57):
Are you turning in to a fake name or your
real name?
Speaker 11 (02:46:00):
Don't don't answer.
Speaker 24 (02:46:01):
It's gonna be my real name now, Okay, go ahead,
da I told you this.
Speaker 39 (02:46:05):
Sorry, Okay, So I'm scared of this because me and
my ex it would the best I'm telling you, the
best I've ever had in my life.
Speaker 6 (02:46:13):
Oh me every day.
Speaker 1 (02:46:16):
So if your guy that you're with now said something about, hey,
who is better me or your ex boyfriend? You would say,
I don't want to answer that or what?
Speaker 30 (02:46:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (02:46:25):
How would you react?
Speaker 58 (02:46:27):
I'm not with anyone right now, but I probably if
it wasn't good.
Speaker 41 (02:46:30):
That's what I'm scared of.
Speaker 11 (02:46:31):
I would definitely.
Speaker 1 (02:46:34):
Are you Are you still having sex with your eggs?
Speaker 40 (02:46:37):
No?
Speaker 9 (02:46:39):
Yeah, but you wish I can't.
Speaker 32 (02:46:41):
He's sucks everywhere else.
Speaker 1 (02:46:44):
His number for some of the single girls on the show.
Speaker 24 (02:46:48):
He has five children.
Speaker 6 (02:46:49):
You guys, don't No one wants them? Okay five children?
Speaker 1 (02:46:51):
Yeah, okay, we know why.
Speaker 9 (02:46:53):
At least she was nobody wants them.
Speaker 1 (02:46:55):
She wants them for herself. That's why nobody wants them.
What's up?
Speaker 24 (02:46:58):
Baron High Change, what's up?
Speaker 1 (02:47:03):
What's going on?
Speaker 41 (02:47:05):
I wanted to comment.
Speaker 24 (02:47:07):
I had a boyfriend and at first the sex was
like nah, but then like we worked on some things
and it was absolutely amazing, to the point where it's
been like ten years, we're still having sex and we're
not together.
Speaker 1 (02:47:22):
Are you guys in relationships, committed relationships with anybody else. No,
so you you keep each other around just for the sex.
Speaker 24 (02:47:32):
Well, I mean, we like to hang out, but I
think the sex we have such a great sex life
is like, we.
Speaker 43 (02:47:38):
Don't want to give it up.
Speaker 1 (02:47:39):
Why don't you guys get into a committed relationship with
each other.
Speaker 24 (02:47:45):
There's different reasons, but we just don't want the same
things as far as like life path, I guess.
Speaker 1 (02:47:52):
But well, if it doesn't, you know, if it's okay
with you, then just keep it going.
Speaker 24 (02:48:00):
That way, right, absolutely, So I just want to say,
be patient and you know things can get better.
Speaker 1 (02:48:08):
Who you talking to me?
Speaker 9 (02:48:09):
I mean I feel like she was really giving you
a little.
Speaker 1 (02:48:13):
Cap brought this thing up about some buddy. I'm just
I'm just I'm the bus driver. Whoa initial be last call?
Iniall be? What's going on your voices? Guys?
Speaker 16 (02:48:27):
Hello?
Speaker 53 (02:48:28):
We do something really fun after everything that we finish,
we do this thing called m VP moments where we
go through all of the favorite things that we did
in that little session of baking cookies, and then the
next time is even better, and then the next time
is even better.
Speaker 1 (02:48:47):
I like, what do you get for being the MVP.
Do they give you like a car at the end
of it, Like sometimes you'll see the MVP of the
Super Bowl give sometimes you know, it's.
Speaker 53 (02:48:56):
Just a good high five after a lot of the
time it's like a surprise. Like someone like my boyfriend
when he has an MVP moment, I'm like, oh my god, really,
I didn't even know that you liked that kind of
little thing that I did.
Speaker 1 (02:49:09):
You know, you should get any We have trophies for
the throwback throw down, so you should get like something
like that, Like you get the trophy of the person
that did the best job medal.
Speaker 53 (02:49:18):
Yeah that would like, yeah, that would be amazing.
Speaker 1 (02:49:21):
Wear that's great.
Speaker 8 (02:49:22):
I wish that was like exactly a radio friendly way
where you could describe your last MVP moment, But they're
like what goes into you know, an MVP moment?
Speaker 1 (02:49:33):
Off the air? Right now, Hary, I'll put you on hold.
You can talk to keV during this break.
Speaker 18 (02:49:37):
Hold you in the morning's top drinding stories or.
Speaker 1 (02:49:40):
Top training story. Okay, man, I got to talk weather
first because obviously that's the biggest story, that's the only
thing that people are caring about. Everybody's so freaking out
about how cold it's going to get. I mean, it's
gonna get so cold. We talked about it earlier this
morning that they say the tree could split open because
of the that's in some of these trees. State of
(02:50:02):
the state of emergency declared for multiple states. Matter of fact,
more than half of the country is set to be
blanketed by coldest temperatures that they've ever experienced, Blizzard like
temperatures in more than thirty states and over two hundred
million people are bracing for potentially the loss of power
(02:50:23):
for what could be days and some of the worst
weather is expected obviously in our area as far as
temperature is concerned. But remember we have this from time
to time. The people that don't have it are people
in states like Texas or the Carolinas, Georgia. They've issued
state of emergencies which has caused for a lot of
(02:50:43):
people to be freaked out. Right now, I saw this,
and I don't know if you remember back in twenty
twenty when it was really bad weather and they faced
this in Texas last time. Remember they caught God, what
the heck is the guy's name that Senator.
Speaker 9 (02:50:56):
Oh Tech Cruz going to King kun Or Cabo or something.
Speaker 1 (02:51:00):
They caught him going to Cancun with his family and
on his daughter's like high school trip.
Speaker 40 (02:51:05):
Ye.
Speaker 1 (02:51:06):
Well they just recently somebody took a picture of him
on a flight to California, but it was actually a
flight that was meant for the him meeting with somebody
in California, and then he's coming right back to get
into the cold. But it's going to be really interesting
to see how this weather affects things like air travel,
road travel, yeah, staying home, in even dating. According to
(02:51:30):
a story that is out this morning, the dating services,
the dating apps are all saying that they the last
time that there was crazy weather like this experienced such
an uptick in usage because people are sitting at home
and they have more time on their hands to look
for somebody to keep them warm. Stock up on dudes,
(02:51:55):
if you want to. Nothing is warmer than body heat,
so right. Delta Airlines ends up soaked in de icing fluid.
A Delta Airlines flight from LaGuardia to Jacksonville had an
unusual delay after de icing fluid, you know, the fluid
that's used to make sure that the wings don't freeze
(02:52:15):
as you take off from your flight. Unexpectedly leaked into
the aircraft and soaked passengers that were sitting inside the plane.
They actually will turn off the vent, the lation system
in there. They turn off even the entertainment system in
there because they said it could get into that when
(02:52:36):
they spray what is like this orange substance onto the
plane that keeps your plane from freezing. Well, it was
getting into the plane and then it caused for some
of the people to actually be covered by it. Delta
called the chemical non hazardous, which of course I was
about to say.
Speaker 8 (02:52:53):
I'm on Chad GPT right now because I'll call my
lawyer immediately.
Speaker 1 (02:52:57):
They say that it will it. It is something though
that you definitely don't want on you for a period
of time, and there's a lot of people that had
it on them. Interesting, Peta does not want punks Atoni
phil to be a groundhog anymore. So they want they
want him to be a hologram. They would like to say,
(02:53:19):
here we go, Peter would like the town of punks Atoni,
Pennsylvania to stop using a real live animal and use
a hologram. I heard that there is a shortage of
groundhogs that believe it or not that they cannot find
enough groundhogs these days to do enough.
Speaker 9 (02:53:38):
I feel like I see them all the time, Like,
are those real groundhogs?
Speaker 11 (02:53:43):
Are not endangered species?
Speaker 1 (02:53:44):
As Maybe this is the reason why Peta might have
a thing with this. Might they might actually be legit?
Speaker 34 (02:53:52):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (02:53:53):
When is Groundhog's Day? Because I want to know if
we're going to have more of this?
Speaker 9 (02:53:56):
Isn't it February? February first?
Speaker 1 (02:53:58):
Come next week? Maybe?
Speaker 6 (02:53:59):
Is it.
Speaker 1 (02:54:01):
February second? Every year?
Speaker 6 (02:54:03):
Wow?
Speaker 11 (02:54:04):
Yeah, he has the easiest job ever.
Speaker 1 (02:54:07):
He has the easiest job ever.
Speaker 11 (02:54:09):
Let's wake up and look to see his shadow and
Peter is coming for it.
Speaker 1 (02:54:13):
Come on, let's hope it's not a negative thirty degree
day because he ain't coming outment. Did you guys hear
the story about how you know, the Buffalo Bills lost
in the playoffs and they ended up firing their longtime
coach Sean McDermott. Did you hear that this morning? There's
more than thirty or forty thousand. I think it might
(02:54:35):
be up to fans that have signed a petition to
get the coach rehired, and that ain't gonna They announced
that the reason they fired the coach one of the
reasons was Josh Allen, the quarterback of the team, was
sobbing on the podium at the press conference, blaming himself
for the loss, and the owners saw that and said
that that was something that they didn't want to see
(02:54:56):
as their star crying like that, So there had to
be some ready to blame, so they ended up firing
the coach. Fans are pissed, and including these these fans,
forty thousand of these fans, many of them are season
ticket holders, including some of the ones that have the
most expensive of seats.
Speaker 8 (02:55:11):
Well, no, I think he was a good coach, but
they haven't been able to go to the championship and
ask why you played a sport.
Speaker 9 (02:55:20):
I kind of love the passion though.
Speaker 8 (02:55:22):
Yeah, well no, for sure he had, but I mean
he had four turnovers. You can't turn the ball over
that many times and expect to win the game. But
you need sometimes you just need a fresh face or
a different voice in that locker room.
Speaker 7 (02:55:33):
I feel like that would happen, God forbid, anything happened
to our beloved Dan Campbell, but people would not let
him leave.
Speaker 1 (02:55:40):
No, not this song. If he loses like he did
this year, next year.
Speaker 9 (02:55:44):
I'm just saying any year. Yeah, this year, he is
so loved.
Speaker 1 (02:55:49):
There's going to become a point channing where you don't win,
you're not loved anymore.
Speaker 39 (02:55:55):
More.
Speaker 1 (02:55:56):
One more year, one more year he's got for Nan Mendoza,
that Indiana quarterback. Your favorite guy in the world right now, guys,
this is guys, something special. There's something about him. He's
going to be the number one pick in the draft.
They're saying, the Raiders definitely are picking him as their
number one pick in the draft. Fernando Mendoza, right after
(02:56:17):
he went sixteen and oh for the first undefeated season
since like the thirties or something, and winning the national championship.
What was the first thing that he did. Some people
think it was go to a strip club because he
and his friends were at a strip club. I guess
which Miami's got the best strip clubs. Oh my god,
there's that one strip there. There's that one strip club there.
(02:56:37):
I can't remember what the name of it is, but
it's like a bar strip club place. That place is riduclass.
He actually, instead of going to the strip club right away,
he changed his LinkedIn. Actually, yes, he put up on
his LinkedIn that he was Heisman Trophy winner, National Champion
(02:56:58):
sixteen and oh quarterback. That's dope. Why does he have
a LinkedIn? He's going to be the number one, I'm wondering.
Speaker 9 (02:57:04):
Yeah, he's single.
Speaker 1 (02:57:06):
Anybody need a LinkedIn? That's not like in our business.
I see radio DJs with linkedins. Look at it.
Speaker 9 (02:57:13):
I mean I have LinkedIn.
Speaker 7 (02:57:15):
I'm not looking LinkedIn. I'll be honest with you. I
can't remember the last time I was on it, but
they kept sending me emails. I was like, well, I
better create like an actual account.
Speaker 1 (02:57:22):
We don't have a TikTok, but you have a LinkedIn. Yeah,
how is that?
Speaker 7 (02:57:28):
I mean for people who for people who are actually
in like a reputable job world, like West is on
LinkedIn all day every day. Now mind you, he's actively
looking for a job. But at the same time, like
I think a lot of people are on LinkedIn. That
is a very popular social media you know, not mean business.
Speaker 1 (02:57:49):
Yeah, where you do a dirty every morning that you
need to get audio from and you know all this.
You don't have TikTok, but you have a LinkedIn.
Speaker 11 (02:57:57):
You won't get over it.
Speaker 7 (02:57:59):
I've had for years linked I'd be like LinkedIn, but
you also don't understand why I don't have TikTok. I
don't have TikTok because I don't want something else to
waste time on every day and scroll. I literally couldn't
tell you the last time I even checked my LinkedIn. Okay,
all right, so it's you know, it's not a I
(02:58:19):
don't know. It doesn't take time away from my life.
Speaker 8 (02:58:21):
I'm all mine right now. I'm looking at you are
and you never know what happens, so you gotta stay active.
Speaker 16 (02:58:28):
Cool.
Speaker 1 (02:58:29):
Uh well, uh, one more Fernando Mendoza story, and then
I'll move on and we'll be done with today and
you can go to your linked all you want, not
the love. He's cutan like me. There, he's good. He's
a champion like me.
Speaker 9 (02:58:45):
You could have just left it at he's But don't
you think he should be the next bachelor.
Speaker 1 (02:58:49):
I think that should be sexiest man alive. He should
be on that list of sexiest man. I like his
little brother transferred out of the school. Well, it's because
you know that he had an agreement with the coach,
Like he would go to Indiana if they took his
brother as the backup. I like Bernando Mendoza. This is
the biggest story. Lydia si this because you know, Lydia
is the only other person besides me that likes him more.
(02:59:09):
Lydia loves this guy. He has hair. She loves him.
Speaker 27 (02:59:12):
He's a beautiful Catholic man, and he's athletic. What's not
to love?
Speaker 6 (02:59:16):
Lydia?
Speaker 1 (02:59:17):
Would you date him? Or is he too young for you?
I would? He's twenty six, right, twenty five? Twenty six
if I was correct? Yes, If you were single, Andy,
you got nothing on for Nando Mendoza, watch out for her.
Speaker 27 (02:59:30):
I dated younger before you, beyond twenty two.
Speaker 1 (02:59:33):
You know what, if your guy's listening, he'd better take
all the Fernando Mendoza stories away from your phone because
you're always in there looking at Fernando Mendoza. Fernando Mendoza,
believe it or not, is single and has no girlfriend.
And the reason is he made it a priority to
focus on his football, not girls. And he says, I
(02:59:54):
don't have a girlfriend. Girls are very distracting. If I
had one, I'd give her all of my attention. But
in the meantime I just watch extra film. Good good
for him.
Speaker 5 (03:00:07):
It worked.
Speaker 1 (03:00:08):
Did you notice though, that when he won the championship.
What was the first thing he did went linked No,
he went to the strip club. That's what I tell
Joe Siad. That's an old old I don't even know
what you what to call it. But as a man,
you will never lose a woman chasing money, but you
will always lose money chasing women. That is great. Is
(03:00:29):
that on your LinkedIn too? Yeah, that's on my LinkedIn.
I saw my prayer cards. That's on everything. That is
honestly a great advice from a great dad. And you
better get home to him right now because he's homesick.
I'm out, all right. Have a great day, guys. We'll
see that.
Speaker 2 (03:00:42):
Twenty plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo,
in West Michigan, it's mojo in the morning.
