We are live in beautiful Windy City and it was
windy yesterday. Downtown Chicago was Oh my god. I used
to when I first got into radio, and this is
kind of radio nerdish on me. I used to listen
to a guy whose name was not Mojo, but it
was Jobo Jobo Hannah, and Jobo Hanna used to start

off a show every single day. I'm being ninety six
by going live from beautiful Windy City, downtown Chicago.

It's so windy. My two pages flew off.

And the funniest thing was I think Jobo wore a
two pay.

I think he did. But it is an honor to
be here.

It is such a cool thing to be able to
have all of your family, and I include you guys
in there with all my family. My wife Chelse, my boys,
my sisters, my brothers, nieces, nephews that are all going
to be here tonight at the Radio Hall of Fame induction.

It's really an awesome thing.

And I'll tell you yesterday I had one of those moments.
And I'll tell you more about a lot of the
stuff that happened yesterday coming up this morning on the show.
But when I saw my good friend and our good friend,
Shannon Johnny Dare when he came into town for this
Johnny from Kansas City. I talked about Johnny so much
on our show, Johnny and Caitlyn, when I saw them

for the first time, And to see him sitting laughing,
rinking with you guys, my son, giving him, giving Joe
all the bad advice he could possibly give.

Oh, it was awesome.

Yeah, it was a fun night last night.

Oh my god.

Speaker 5 (02:11):
I don't know how tonight, I mean, tonight will top
last night. But it was a fun night last night.

Well, it cannot top the amount of alcohol that I
had last night. And the reason is I refuse to
drink like I did last night tonight because I will
not be coherent for any of the stuff. I woke
up this morning after going to bed at ten thirty
Detroit time, because you know, there's a difference in time
going across Indiana, right across the border. And I got

into town here and I'm kind of still a little
screwed up. I know it's only an hour, but I
was realizing last night. I'm like, oh good, I'm getting
to bed at my normal time. And then I realized, no,
I'm not, because I went to bed virtually an hour
and a half two hours and we.

Had to wake up an hour earlier than normal. It
was funny. I knew you had a lot to drink
because and Lydia and Bianca and I went out for
Happy Hour and we had food and then met up
with you guys. So I don't know what you drank
during the afternoon. But towards the end of the night,
I was sitting next to Chelsea. I had Chelsea on
one side and I'd Bianca on the other side of me,
and you were sitting across from me, and you were

sitting back in your chair and you were doing that wing.

You were doing that way.

You kept putting.

Speaker 5 (03:20):
Food on my plate. I'm like, I'm actually not hungry.
We already ate, but thank you, so much, and you
kept plopping food on my plate and then you'd sit
back and wink like yo, I.

Was cutting up her steak. You were like, you probably
done for your kids.

Speaker 5 (03:33):
He is gone. Yeah, it was so fun.

This was the thing.

I had more to drink than mojo, though.

Honestly, I don't know how you're alive today. I drink
every single liquor possible. I have wine, a Paloma April sprints.
I had especial Martini baka Cranberry two hours.

Is Paloma like a tequila tequila?

So you mixed your alcohol, had.

Tequila cram moscato. I had to at vodka everything you
and I'm still here.

I can't believe you don't have Well, you can tell
that you're twenty two years old because of you're my age.
You're fifty five years old. You're like waking up this
morning with the worst hangover.

Yeah, Michigan State. Well, I'm prepped.

I didn't know the hotel room because if Chelsea checked
into the hotel room while I was visiting and hanging
out with friends that I saw, you know, Johnny and Caitlin.
And so last night, when I got back to the
hotel room after we left the you know, the restaurant
in the lobby, I go upstairs to the room. I
just plopped down on bed and then went to bed.
Woke up this morning. I had to try to take

a shower, not knowing the whereabouts of where everything was
and not trying to wake Chelse up.

Speaker 7 (04:43):
Who's in the room right now? Sleep?

Speaker 5 (04:44):
Yeah, like feeling around in the dark.

Speaker 6 (04:46):
Oh the shot, and then you don't know where to
position the shower for the heat of the temperature.

Of the show thing.

Always it's so hard.

They don't have like some kind of a universal thing,
Like they should have a universal thing where it's like
a mark that says this is where the average person
thinks is like the right temperature.

But I crank.

Get always to the hottest level because I'd rather be
I want to burn myself than freeze my ass off.

But I'm actually so glad we had two bathrooms. Though
we were gonna do the one bathroom, and I was like, no,
the one bathroom is okay. Thank god we had two bathrooms.
We had been lost.

Speaker 6 (05:18):
Wait, so tell me about the sleeping arrangements that that
you girls have. What are the what are the sleeping arrangements?

Speaker 11 (05:23):
As far as me and Lydia are obviously cuddling together,
and then Shannon gets her own bed.

Speaker 10 (05:27):
But I came into bed like a little later last night.

Speaker 5 (05:30):
We're all in the same room though, so there's two
double beds in the bedroom in our.

But I came into bed a little late last night,
and then I was put in the flashlights on both
you guys and see who's one of Shannon and Lydia
because I don't want to get into bed with you.

Wait, you couldn't tell her like walking in like because
they both need the blankets. Okay, but wouldn't you say,
like Lydia's taller than Shannon, I would think that the.

Blanket would I honestly could not tell I sleep in
a ball too?

Yeah, you were, It was.

Just your head.

Was there anything weird sleeping in the same rooms? Like
they may snore?

Snore? Well, we can talk about something later that you
did last night that okay, you know what I'm talking about.
But also think we had two bathrooms because we all
woke up this morning.

And had to poop.

Yeah, and I like this would never work with one bathroom.

So wait, wait, so what is the bathroom situation?

So is it too.

So is it like two shower wise because that show
two showers.

In this room.

Yeah, wow, this is fantasy. So it's like an apartment
basically pretty much. So, so two bathrooms with two full baths,
showers and everything.

Your bathrooms a lot bigger than mine's, Like.

We have a bathrotob it's like a bathroom with literally
just a sprout on the ceiling. There's no shower.

And this is a hotel.

The hotel that that you know we're at is not
a hotel like you would see the like the you know,
like the Hampton Inns and stuff like that, you know,
like the Travelers Hotels. I think the Travelers Hotels like
those places that are typical for hey, they're right by
the airport type things. Those are the best hotels for
the best plugs. For some reason, I'm a real big person,

and THO sounds really cool about you need plugs by
your bed and you need to have like lots of
plugs to be able to put your chargers and do
stuff like that. Maybe in shant In's case, you're vibrator.
I don't know if you brought yours with it, but
you need to have sometimes the battery wears off and
you got to have the plug. And so the problem

with regular hotels they were made years and years ago,
Like this hotel is probably a hotel.

That was made like in the eighties or something.

Yeah, but I think that they don't have enough good
plugs where if you stay at one of those, you know,
traveler type hotels. Uh, you know the holiday in Expresses Holiday.
I'm not getting to lie to you, guys, Holliday and
Express might.

I love the pre breakfast and you.

Know what, you know, the eggs are not real.

I think they're cheap powdered eggs that somebody, the person
behind the counter makes it like they're the chef and
the check in pat it's free. You got to give it,

By the way, Zach and I had a long talk
yesterday at the end of the show. He's a little
bit nervous about making sure he makes this flight. Will
you guys explain to him he's on the same flight
that you guys were on yesterday.

Oh you have a ton of time, Zach.

You can get there.

If your flight's at twelve, you can get there at
eleven fifty.

We actually got there and then had a drink and
then shopped around. Yeah, and then went to the gate.
It was fine, Okay, it was weird though. We got
to the gate and there was not a single person
at the gate, Mojo, not one aside from the gate agent.
And we were all looking at each other. I'm like,
wait a second, I know our flight takes off at
twelve twenty. What the heck happened? And so the gate

agent was like, oh, everybody already boarded. We're trying to
leave early. Oh my god. And you guys were not
there too. We were on time, we were twenty we
were still twenty minutes early the gate.

Speaker 10 (09:51):
I was looking at the thing.

I think we were two minutes away until the gate closed.

Speaker 5 (09:56):
Yeah, it was weird, Like nobody in the jet bridge
I'm talking every but was in their seats.

You guys were the last three people to walk on.

And then they shut the door and they left early.

Wait, explain this to me.

How is it that you can say we're going to
leave early, but nobody else knows that you're going to
leave early? Like this isn't that, This isn't like all right, kids,
get down here, we're getting in the suburban, you know
what I mean.

And it actually sat on the screen too, that they
were gonna they were going to depart early. I've never
had that happen to me. So on the.

like an alert or something like that.

I've never honestly heard of that, Like I never I mean,
unless they're trying to beat weather.

Or they just said they wanted to leave early, and
he said, if we can get any everyone here early,
will leave. If not that we'd have to wait till.

Everyone but to show up at your gate and for
there to be nobody. My heart just got stopped.

Is the pilot's idea?

Like, Hey, I want to get to Chicago fast because
I want to get some deep dish pizza.

But here's the funny thing. Then, when we got toward Chicago,
because I slept the entire flight until the until the ends,
I heard the captain say, oh, they weren't prepared for
us to land yet, so we're circling around so it
didn't even matter.

And he pissed me on.

Yeah, I think it was like eleven to fifteen. They're like, okay,
we're landing in ten minutes. It was eleven fifty five
and we're still flying around in the air.

That means that the pilot didn't talk to somebody, and
I don't know what was deal with that, But you
guys basically got one of those guided tours, like you
got to say.

Lake Michigan, and yeah, we did.

We were flying over Lake Michigan. They were flying over
the suburbs, like the trees were all popping off.

I did one time there was a flight that was
supposed to land in Detroit and we could not land
because the weather was really bad, like the winds were
really bad. So they told us that they were going
to circle us for a little bit, and they circled
us and I literally circled back and you could see
my house.
