Morning show. So this weekend I was out and was
hanging out with a guy friend of mine, and when
we were sitting there at the bar just kind of talking,
the bartender comes up and says, Hey, I have a

drink care for you. And I'm like, oh, I don't
drink drinks from people that I don't know. He goes, No,
I made it, he goes, But it's from that gentleman
over in the corner. And I'm like, okay, in the corner,
I'm okay with the fact that another guy wants to
buy me a drink. I'm fine with that. I have
no problem.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Did you know, said gentleman.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
I didn't look over yet at said gentleman to see
if I knew him. But I was like, hum, it's
the same thing I'm drinking right now. It was an
old fashioned you probably axed, Yeah, So I grabbed the
drink looked over in the corner, and of course realized
that the man was not my type. I looked over

in the corner and it was a very nice guy.
It was a nice Kaldian guy. Bianca good, good Kaldian guy,
sitting there at the table by yourself, looking at you.
He looked. I grabbed the glass and I looked, and
I put it up in the air, and the guy
did one of these things, like a quick little palm wave,
and then I put it down. And the guy that
I was with was our buddy Will. Will said, should

you go over and just like say something to him?
And I said, I don't know what's the etiquette. So
I didn't know what the etiquette was because I'll be
honest with you. As a guy, I don't get got
a drink spot for me. You know, it doesn't happen.
And I know you women get drink spot for you
all the time. And I don't think as a woman,
you should get up and go over and talk to
the person, because I think that safety in mind, it

might just be a quick little nod wave or type thing, okay,
or blow kisses. I don't do that, Jesus, you know.
So I was thinking to myself, maybe put your tongue
in your ken.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Yeah, so just me a second, but I just got it.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
So we were having this conversation. So so Will and
I were having this conversation, which, by the way, he
bought Will a drink too, which is that's very nice.
I mean, that's a that's a match right there, man,
That's that's a guy that cares. So Will's like, I
think you should get up and say something. And I
said to him, like, well, I already got the wave,
so if I go over there, then you know whatever.
So I stayed for a little bit and just kind
of like, all right, I'm just gonna like stay here.

And then at the end of the time that we
were there, he was still at that table. I then
made it a point to walk over towards him and
say thank you to him, and you know, kind of
introduce myself. Basically he's a listener or the show. But
he also was a guy that had common friends, you
know what I mean, like we know the same people.
And it brought up like an etiquette of what do

you do and if you're somebody that's ever had somebody
buy drinks for you, do you get up and go
over and say something like, I have a couple of
different questions that I wrote down here. If you accept
a drink, are you obligated to actually talk to the person?
It's number one? What if you're in a relationship and
you accept a drink, Like, if that's a woman sending

me over a drink, am I cheating on my wife? Chelsea?
If I accept a drink from another woman that's standing there, like,
there's a couple of women that are standing there, is
that wrong? Or women? Is it weird? Like? If Shannon
gets a drink sent over to her by a couple
of guys sitting at a table, is it wrong for
her to drink that drink? Have you ever? Have you

ever sent a drink over to someone and they sent
it back?

You cannot do that.

I would love to know if that's the case. And
is sending drinks even a thing anymore?

Okay, here's what I hate. I don't do shots. You
guys know this, very very rarely will I take a shot,
And sometimes like somebody will send, especially if I'm with
girlfriends like shots over and I have to figure out
a way because you don't want to be rude, and
I always feel like they're looking like, oh, these girls
going to take it. I have to give my shot
slyly to somebody else to drink because I don't want it.

Yeah.

Shots are a tough one.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Yeah. Shots I don't like because I'll be honest with you.
They knock me on my ass, like I just you
know you do them, I know, but I don't like.
And I don't send shots because I feel like shots
are very specific, like the idea that you go to
a bartender and say, what are they drinking? I would
like to buy them another drink. You're choosing my drink.
I don't want you to choose my drink, you know

what I mean? How do you know that I am
not allergic?

That's the safe bit of buying them what they're already drinking. Yeah,
which is why you got the old fashion. I think
that delayed gratitude is disrespect.

I think there is something to you receiving a gift
and immediately showing how great.

So I should have done what Will said and got
up and said I feel like I feel like a
wave is so impersonal. It's like thank you.

thank you so much. I got my friend over here.
I got to get back to it, but I just

always go over there first and be like, they want

He is participating in a drug rehabilitation program in prison
that could reduce his fifty month sentence by as much
as a year. He was expected to be released in
May of twenty twenty eight. However, completing this intensive rehab
program could mean an earlier release, although he'd be out
from behind bars, but he would still face five years

of supervision, as well as drug testing, mental health meetings,
and some other things that were prescribed under his sentence.
The International Olympic Committee is moving toward a new policy
that would ban transgender women from the female category at
the upcoming Games. This change comes after the twenty twenty

four Paris Olympics were engulfed in controversy over that Algerian
boxer remember who won gold in the women's division, but
then subsequently faced some gender eligibility questions still unresolved. As
this kind of creeps forward, how sport by sport rules
will be enforced, how athletes will be tested or classified,

and how the policy will balance fairness with inclusion and
in case you're curious. The International Olympic Committee says they
will not retroactively strip results from past games, so this
is only looking forward that this would happen. While performing
