Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, it's Mojo in the morning.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
So the kids all came back from spring break, including
your steps On West's son, Kieren.
Speaker 1 (00:07):
Oh my god, where did he go?
Speaker 3 (00:10):
He went to? I think they went to Jacksonville, Florida,
chat with a bunch of buddies they drove down.
Speaker 1 (00:15):
So this is interesting.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
The topic is going to be what did the cop
ask you to do or tell you to do to
get out of a ticket or what did you do
to get out of the ticket, you know, because what
happened to him and his friends.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
So they were all driving home and they got pulled
over in Indiana because they had a front headlight that
was out, and so the I believe Kieren was driving
at the time, and the cop comes up to the
you know, driver's side window, and Kieran explained that he
was driving his stepdad's vehicle, which he was, and his
(00:48):
stepdad is a police officer, shout out Frank by the way,
and so the officer was like, oh, okay, you know,
let me go check a few things. So they go
back grab Kieren's license, check I'm sure to make sure
that he's telling the truth, because I think they give
you a little bit of leeway right, if you're if
you're driving Stepdad's car, and Stepdad's a police officer as well.
(01:09):
So he walks back up and he notices one of
the guys has a guitar in the car, a guitar
in the backseat, and he said, okay, here's the deal.
You get out, somebody plays wagon Wheel on the guitar,
you guys can go to go. So one of the
guys got out and played wagon Wheel on the guitar.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
Yes, I love that. Isn't that great?
Speaker 3 (01:31):
Yeahs like, no ticket, no nothing, just play, we play,
play a little bit of wagon Wheel.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
You guys are good to go, and they did.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
I would wonder if a cop would get in trouble
for something like that, because people get so sensitive to
things like I think that's.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
Actually like, I have the video because obviously the guys
all recorded it, you know, I don't know that I
want to post it because you just said that.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
But yeah, isn't that great?
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Isn't that? Isn't that funny? So a little wagon wheel, which,
by the way, I love, I love wagon Wheel.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
I think the cop to was a Spartan fan, right,
because he was like, oh, I see, you guys are
all wearing Michigan.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Stick Go Green.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
How close were they to the border, Because I feel
like that's the thing too, is you got to get
lucky and have somebody that's fairly fairly close. Hold on,
let me can I play the audio?
Speaker 1 (02:18):
Hold on? Send?
Speaker 2 (02:18):
This is the the audio of uh, don't I got you?
Speaker 4 (02:27):
Do you need to?
Speaker 1 (02:28):
You need to pull it up.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
So he's having to look at the Michigan state, is
what I'm Yeah, it's a young cop to it's call.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Yeah because he didn't know what My favorite is. My
favorite is with kids.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
You can always tell how old a kid is, like
his college aides based on their haircuts, terrible or lack thereof.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
They're all terrible. Look at how many people got in
that car. I like it. You got to go. I
love that's cool, that's fun. I like it. Thank god
they didn't get in trouble.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
I worry, by the way, every time that the kids
they're going on in Nashville trip soon they're driving.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
I don't like it. I don't.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
I don't like any of this stuff. I told Chelsea this.
We talk about it on our we Don't podcast today.
I told her, I said, we need to be more
like our parents. Where we just don't care about our
kids anymore. Like we are way over caring about our
kids because I every time that they do anything, I
worry that they're going to die, and I don't want
to see that.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
I had to tell Wes because we have Life three
sixty for Kieren and Wes what he goes, Do you
want to watch the show with me?
Speaker 1 (03:44):
This is a couple couple days ago. What show are
you talking about?
Speaker 3 (03:47):
He pulls up Life Life three sixty and we can
see exactly where he is. Put your phone away and
let the kid have some fun.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
I'm like, Wes, I'd be like, why did you guys?
Try Robin? What's going on?
Speaker 5 (04:00):
Hi?
Speaker 1 (04:01):
Hi? What's happening?
Speaker 6 (04:04):
So here, guys, this conversation about what did you do
to get pulled? When you got fo to get out
and took it. Yes, I was on my way to
the hospital about sixteen years ago to see my dad.
I just left tim Harton and I have pulled over
for speeding and the cop took my donuts to me
let me off with a warning.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Oh that is so stereotyfficult. The cop took your tim bits.
Speaker 6 (04:28):
I was like, hey, my tim bits. He's like you
want a ticket, I said, you want a coffee too.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
I like that. That's pretty funny.
Speaker 1 (04:37):
Uh, you know what.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
I like a cop with a good sense of humor,
especially if I'm in the wrong. What's up, Seana, how
you doing?
Speaker 1 (04:43):
Okay?
Speaker 7 (04:44):
Well, Joe, first time? Yeah, you have to call back
when he's not there.
Speaker 6 (04:53):
He's not there, all right.
Speaker 7 (04:55):
So, Liza, I was on seventy five bying the seventy
five in my charger and Oak Park police pulled me
over and he was also driving a charger. So when
he came up to the car and he told me
that I was feeding, I'm like, it's a hemmy. I'm like,
you're driving a charger, dudes, I'm like, you can barely
(05:15):
you barely even know when you're speeding. He was like,
you know what, You're right, So he gave me an
impeding traffic ticket instead of a speeding ticket because I
was doing like eighty seven miles.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
I mean, you know what, Yeah, I don't think that
happens to a guy driving the car. I'm going to
tell you this, a guy is not going to be
able to say, come on, it's a hammy.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
That cop would be like, not a chance. But listen.
Speaker 7 (05:38):
I listen. The whole time I had that car, I
was like, the first time I get pulled over, that's
exactly what I'm gonna say.
Speaker 8 (05:43):
And it worked or whatever.
Speaker 7 (05:44):
So I got that feeding traffic only uh it was
only one hundred and eighty seven dollars, but it wasn't seeded.
It wasn't any points on my insurance or anything like that.
Speaker 8 (05:53):
And you warned me that there was a state trooper.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
Oh that's the best. Those guys.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
This state troopers don't let you offer anything. They don't
even let their moms off. They're such nasty guys. But
I will tell you. I will tell you this next time.
Ask him if he wants to race. See what he says.
Speaker 7 (06:13):
Hey, listen. I was too nervous about saying the hand
me Bard, but I had to get it out.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
That's awesome.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
Seea Shanna call back when cop comes in here in
a little bit, and we'll get you another first time.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Long time.
Speaker 8 (06:25):
I'm trying.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
Thank you, all right, what's up, Kathleen? Hi, Hey, good morning, guys,
Good morning.
Speaker 7 (06:32):
I just have.
Speaker 9 (06:33):
To tell the story. So we're a bunch of preschool
teachers and we were headed to Hilton Head for spring break.
We left after we got out of school on a
Thursday night. Driving all night. I was driving. Next thing,
you know, lights behind me flashing and like, oh man,
pull over. The cops like do you know why I
pulled you over? And I said, well I do now
(06:54):
I was speeding, but I didn't realize it until you
pulled me over. And she said where you guys headed?
And I said, hey, we're a bunch of teachers and
we're headed to Helmehead for spring break. He immediately stopped
and went was the teacher utterly get it. You guys
be safe just to have fun.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
Wow, that's awesome. See I like that.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
You know what you don't give nurses, doctors, teachers, anybody
that potentially.
Speaker 3 (07:21):
Radio show hosts.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
Well maybe yeah, because you may not win tickets to
a jingle ball, But I think that you don't give
you don't give somebody like you a ticket because the
next thing you know, he's walking in or she's walking
in that cop into your room for a parent teacher
conference and literally and uh, you know, little Samantha is
going to get herself a big failing grade because a
(07:45):
dad was a jerk. But now I think that that's awesome.
That is a great story, Robin. What's going on?
Speaker 7 (07:52):
Hi? Hey?
Speaker 4 (07:54):
So, of course it was before body cam. But my
best friend was in town and got into an accident
and the cop was young. We were young, two hot girls,
and so she flashed him and then she's like, hey,
I'm only in town for a little bit, and if
you let us go, you can get two for the
price to one.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
Oh my, Oh know what did he do? Did he
take it?
Speaker 8 (08:13):
Well, he let us go.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Oh but he didn't. He didn't like take a phone
number or anything.
Speaker 4 (08:17):
Did he No, No, he didn't take anything.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
Oh okay, that would be probably wrong. Although, wait, hold
on a second. Here, this is funny.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
Sierra. Are you there, Sierra, Yes, I'm here.
Speaker 8 (08:26):
Good morning.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
Wall was up. The cop asked you for your phone number.
Speaker 8 (08:31):
Yes, it was so crazy. I was doing like forty
and the twenty five and the cop pulled me over
and when he took my license, he was like, it's
your birthday and I'm like, yes, it's my birthday, So
don't you want to let me go? And he was like, yeah,
I would let you go, but you're beautiful, so I'll
let you go if you give me a phone number
and I gave it to him because get me out
(08:53):
of here.
Speaker 1 (08:53):
And wait, did he call you? Did he ever?
Speaker 8 (08:56):
I did? He did call me. But she was married.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Oh, oh my god, Yes.
Speaker 8 (09:03):
He was married. And he was like super controlling, like
and I and I'm like, you're married. Why would you
want to date me if you're married. He was like,
you have to worry about the things that are that
concern you. Oh excuse me the officer.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
Oh my god, Wow, that's crazy. But you didn't get
a ticket. You could get him fired.
Speaker 8 (09:22):
Yeah, that on my birthday. That would have been That
would have pissed me off.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
Sierra sounds like she flirts for a lot of things.
Speaker 8 (09:27):
You thirty, I am, I'm an as I am. Nobody
gets me. It gets me places.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
So all right, you know what, use what mama gave you.
Speaker 8 (09:39):
Good morning?
Speaker 1 (09:40):
All right? Just trying to flirt there. What's up, Morgan?
What happened?
Speaker 7 (09:46):
So?
Speaker 5 (09:46):
I was going like one hundred and three on Southfield,
like in Allen Park, going past the hills, oh man.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
And I didn't even see.
Speaker 5 (09:53):
The police officer. And by the time he pulled me over,
he just gets out the car and he's like cutting
me out really bad, and he's like, it's one day,
it's the Lord's Day.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
And I'm like, I know, I'm on my way to church.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
I'm like, for soyletic and.
Speaker 8 (10:04):
He let me out, like he let me off.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
I didn't get a ticket at that's incredible. Can I
tell you something right there?
Speaker 3 (10:10):
Why is it so slow?
Speaker 1 (10:11):
Why is the speed limit so slow? Right there?
Speaker 3 (10:15):
Yes, it drives me crazy.
