Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, Joe in the morning.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
So yesterday we went to the Tigers game and I
actually took uh Luke and Luke had a bunch of
his friends. He had Nolan with him. And then Luke
has been hanging with this very sweet girl. He does
not call her a girlfriend, but they hang out all
the time with each other. So Chelsea and I can't
(00:22):
figure it out, but we love this girl. Oh my god,
she's such she's so funny. Like it's one of those
people like where you hang out with this girl and
you're like, oh my god. I hope Luke dates her
because if she's such a sweetheart. But long story short,
I said to Luke, because we hang with her so often,
(00:43):
like she'll come over to the house so often. So
I said to Luke, I go, Luke, what does her
like mom and dad do for a living? Like just
kind of, you know, get an idea of who they
are and what they're all about. And Luke go's. I
asked her, and she said she doesn't know. And I
thought to myself, how do you not know what your
parent does for a living? Like that would be like
the first thing that I would think that you would
(01:05):
know if you live under the roof with this person
that is, you know, your parent, and he goes, yeah.
I asked her what her dad does, and she said
she doesn't know. And I'm thinking to myself, either her
dad does something that is governmental and he cannot talk
about it.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Or criminal and he cannot talk about her.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
Yeah, you know what I mean, Like, how do you
not like, you know, hey, kids, this is my job,
take me your daughter to work.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
Day or something like that. Even then, you'd think that
he would give her some sort of yeah, faith right
thing that he did. So there was an answer, right,
But then am I crazy in thinking this?
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Or do you guys think that there are people out
there that had no idea or did not know what
their parent did for a living.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
And it couldn't be a situation where maybe she was
embarrassed and didn't want to say this, so she just said.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
And Luke says that the parents are great, Like Luke
actually says, he goes, he goes, oh my god, dad,
he goes, you're gonna you would love the You know,
these two they're really really nice people.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
They love Luke.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
I think, you know he said that they enjoy, they
enjoy when he's over there can I tell you what
I like the most about this girl. And one of
my favorite things is I like people who can be themselves,
Like I don't like the whole you know, they act
one way around us, and they act one way around Luke.
And they came home from having dinner. They went to
go get sushi or something like that, and they came
(02:26):
home from having dinner and they walked in the house
and Chelsea and I were just kind of like laying
there and just watching TV and stuff. And Chelsea's like,
you know, hey, hey, Riley, how you doing. What's going on?
And She's like, oh, my stomach is killing me. And
Chelsea's like, oh my god, are you okay? Like Chelsea's
like thinking to herself, like maybe something's wrong, like she,
you know, got food poisoning or something from the sushi.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
And she goes, no, nothing that a good poop won't
take care of us. And I was like, oh my gosh.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
We both were like we just fell fell in love
with her right at that moment. But what's what's going on? Christine?
Speaker 1 (03:01):
How you doing good?
Speaker 4 (03:03):
Are you good?
Speaker 2 (03:04):
Is it weird that that this girl that Luke has
been hanging out with doesn't know what her dad does
for her work.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
I would say not really. It depends because my dad
is retired now. But I'm still kind of confused on
what he did and I never do. I never knew
really what he did, like and he did he did
he worked for the federal government. It wasn't a secret,
but it was just very fusing.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
Yeah, that's it's wild, It's can I be honest, I
don't know what Kev's dad does for a living or
mom does for a living like Kev's worked with the
show for almost two years and I have no I
have no clue what they do.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
Do you know what they do for a living?
Speaker 2 (03:44):
I'll never tell. Yeah, No, it's it's but it is
interesting though, you know what I mean. It is Shannon's dad,
I know, had a couple of different occupations. Yeah, because
I and it's funny because of you. I know that
I've hung out with your dad before, knew what he
did for a living, knew what you're I'm did for
a living and stuff like that. But Kelvs, I have
no clue. So keV is We're gonna keep on dating.
(04:10):
What's going on?
Speaker 1 (04:11):
Rick? How you doing, keV? How y'all doing fantastic, buddy.
What's happening? Not too much pertain to the girlfriend or
the friend. Maybe she's embarrassed about what her parents do
for a living. I don't think it's that. I don't
(04:31):
think I don't.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
Think it's that because of uh uh Lucas said nothing
but like really positive stuff about them and about I mean,
they live in a nice neighborhood, nice house. I mean
I think that that that's okay. So but but I
just think maybe you're just not inquisitive, Like maybe not
everybody is that inquisitive about about what their friends family
(04:53):
members do. Like I know that there were some kids
that I went to school with that I grew up with,
and these kids you go over to their house and
they would never talk to any like, they wouldn't ask
questions of stuff like I would always be you're talking
about Shannon with uh, Karen's friend, and I wouldn't.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
I would look at them. They wouldn't even talk to
their parents.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
I guess some of my guy friends and stuff, we
go over to their house, I'm like, hey, how you doing.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
And the parents were like, oh my god.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
The kids because their son who is my friend, never
talked to them straight in the room and I'm like,
what is you what are you doing?
Speaker 1 (05:28):
Misfit? Nicole? What's happening?
Speaker 4 (05:30):
Nicole? Hey? What up?
Speaker 3 (05:33):
Good morning?
Speaker 1 (05:35):
Nicole? Your your kids friends know that you are the principal.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
They do know I'm the principal. But when I was
listen talked, you said, nice neighborhood, nice car, little girlfriend
five is in waste manage.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
Me the Sopranos. Yeah, that and maybe it's totally my joke.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
Who Lydia, Lydia needs to get schooled in the Sopranos, Lydia.
That would be a show to binge watch. That is
such a good show. Hey, Luba, what's up?
Speaker 4 (06:20):
Hey? Guys?
Speaker 3 (06:21):
You know there's like some weird job titles like logistics
or project manager, and like they try to explain that
you just don't ask you more.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
I mean, this, honestly is one of those things where
I don't think it's that odd. I don't know what
West does for a living. I still care you. In
your previous company, I didn't really know what he did.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
I know what he does in his company now. I
think there's a delis.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
In your garage and when you find it, a gun
rack is gonna put seven passports.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
Well, and here's the thing, Luba's right. Logistics.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
When people say logistics, I'm like, look, what is logistics?
Speaker 1 (07:00):
Michayla, what's up?
Speaker 4 (07:01):
Hi?
Speaker 1 (07:04):
Hi, Mikayla, miaa Mikayla.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
You're on a Bluetooth and you are talking and you
can't add here us because you muted it.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
I've learned this. Now there you are? Are you there?
Speaker 4 (07:18):
So sorry? I knew bluetooth was going to mess it up,
so I was trying to fix it.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
No, that's okay, what's going on?
Speaker 4 (07:24):
Yeah? So my dad is a cop, and when I
was in high school, he was an undercover cop, and
there were just like certain people that I could tell
and who I couldn't tell what he did?
Speaker 1 (07:38):
Wow? And how did you? What did you base that on?
Speaker 4 (07:43):
Sometimes my dad would mention thanks of like maybe certain families.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
Oh wow, that would be like.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
A no go.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
If I'm undercover, there's nobody I'm telling that I'm a cop,
you know what I mean? It would never but I
so would dad do background checks on the friends in
the neighborhood and stuff like that.
Speaker 4 (08:09):
A few of them, A few of them, must say,
and boyfriends.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Yeah, I have a buddy of mine who's a cop.
And I remember saying to him joking around one time.
I said to him and go, hey, you know, you
must know a lot of about a lot of the
people like that, you know, are in your neighborhood, your
kids and all that stuff.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
And he goes more than you need to know.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
I mean, it's interesting, you know what I mean, Like
you kind of go back and forth and figure that
stuff all out. What cap When am I going to
figure out what the hell your parents do? I'm going
to tell you on February twenty ninth, Wow, you jerk,
I'm like going, why what's happened? On February twenty
