Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, it is Mojoe in the morning. Did you
watch the game last night with your grandma?

Speaker 2 (00:03):
I did not? Did you? You were supposed to.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
You love watching sports with your grandma. But why did
you not watch the game with your grandma last night?

Speaker 3 (00:13):
I had every intention on going back to back for
games with Grandma.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
I was over there for Game three. We watched it.
We had a great time. But grandma house is hot
as hell.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
And I'm at a point in my life right now
where it's ninety degrees outside, it's humid, it's thunderstorms, and
I can't do it for another three and a half hours.
It's too hot. Where did she keep her her house
at what tempest? Don't I don't even think grandma got
air conditioned for real. So Grandma be having fans going
and you gotta be right up on the fan, and

(00:46):
then she have it on the oscillate feature where it's
gotta go all the way to the right and then
you gotta wait for it to come back all the
way to the left. And if it had to be
ninety five degrees, I don't need oscillate on.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
I need to be more. It could be more media entire.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Time any way, do you ever do that where you
stop it like you know that you put She don't
want you to stop it.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
She wanted to get the whole house hot.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
And even she'll have like the front door crack and oh,
my Grandma, this is not working all right.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
So here's the thing. Let's talk about the people in
your lives. You got to call out the person in
your life that's not putting the air on or keeps
it up at a certain level. What is their house
like in temperatures that are like this.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
This is my dad.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
My dad will not turn on the air. I bet
you I should text him. I bet you he has
not turned on the air yet. He loves sweating it out.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
He loves it. I'm going to ask. And when we.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
Were we were little, I used to hate it because
it was especially with asthma, Like when I would get
really overheated my asthma, I'm so dumb and nerdy, but
would flare up and he would just he just never
turned out.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Grandma and Pops used to live in Florida, and I
remember when I would go visit, I would hate it
because they left their air at seventy eight. That was
the time that they in Florida, seventy eight. I could
not sleep there. Oh my god, the humidity is so sticky.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
It's funny because I have so I do the whole
programmable thermostat thing with DT. I practice what I preach,
and I checked out my programmable thermostat and I've been
keeping it like certain rooms at like seventy two, which
everybody thinks is way too hot in my house, but.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
I think that.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
You gotta be my bedroom sixty eight, my bedroom sixty
eight degrees. I cannot sleep if it's one degree higher
than that.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
I like a good hoodie on.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
I like a good cover over me, even if it's
the weather appropriate. But it's hot as hell, and all
things like from my grandma in particularly. I don't know
if Pops is like this or Shannon, your dad is
like is. They're like, I'm comfortable, Like there's no.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Way you can be comfortable a blanket on.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
You understand, And I'm understanding this now because I'm older.
But do you understand as you get older, you get colder,
So older colder and that's the reason why you're okay,
So yeah, yeah, you know what happened. Yeah, women are
totally different, but I think but you want to know
how your grandma will put the temperature at a certain level,

(03:15):
or even your pops or your dad.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Take off your clothes, just sit there in your underwear
that you'll go today. I'm sorry, I'm so hot. I
can't do it. Thank you? All right? That would be funny.
Close the door and the oscillating fan. We're putting it
in the air. What's going on Joshi there?

Speaker 5 (03:33):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (03:34):
What about? What's up? Josh? Who's the person that won't
won't put on the air conditioner? Welcome to what so?

Speaker 6 (03:45):
It's my I got shot at my girl. Now you
know we're from the city, we're from the deep. And
she doesn't keep that Oh my god, it's not even
a cy. She don't keep the sheet below seventy six
bro a year round.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
There's your kids, seventy six bare minimums crazy in the wind.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Seventy six is like sweat you. You guys are sweating
both winter and summer.

Speaker 6 (04:06):
Man, man talking about what's that thing about two mouths
and a wool sock?

Speaker 2 (04:11):
You never never heard it? Never never say it again?
What is it?

Speaker 6 (04:19):
It's it's it's hotter in here. It's hotter in here
than two mouths in a wool sock. They can look.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
I've heard him sweating like a hoe in church. I've
never heard two rats screwing in a wool sock. I'm
trying to make it a little bit more.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Hotter than a fat guy in a jacuzzie, you know
what I mean. Hold on initial B wants to be
voice disguised, Hi.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
B, Peter.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
So my my grandpa had to mention and you would
keep going over to the thermostet I keep bumping it up.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Oh, there was.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
One time they lived in Florida and there was one
time it.

Speaker 6 (05:06):
Was like eighty five degrees.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
Oh my god inside, and I have hypo hydrosis, so.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
It's like I run naturally warmer than the lor person.

Speaker 6 (05:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Wow, I was just like, what it looks like? Eighty five?

Speaker 1 (05:21):
I don't think I don't think your home can get
up to that temperature, even if you didn't have your
air on.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Right now, that's that that's hot, Well it can, that's ken. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:30):
My dad just text me back and he said they
turned on the air for the very first time last night.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
I can understand the last night last night, you guys,
it's been like very it has.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
He waited until the cracked ninety.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
What's up, Jessica. How you doing good?

Speaker 5 (05:49):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (05:50):
We're doing okay.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
keV didn't go watch the game with his grandmamather So
last night because it was too hot over there.

Speaker 5 (05:58):
That's not good, keV. No, but I can understand, because
I absolutely I would say it was in my list
of reasons that I divorced my ex.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Husband because of the temperature and.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
I was approaching perimenopause.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
It just it's not no choke. You can't do that
to me. I can't do that to me. And the
judge probably gave you everything. The bally said what I
wanted out so bad.

Speaker 5 (06:26):
I didn't ask for much of anything.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
Just the air conditioning place with the age.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
It is funny, by the way, when you have somebody
that won't turn the air on to a certain level.
Like I remember when my dad would go out of
town or he'd be at work. We would crank that
air conditioning down. We would make it and elson he'd
come home, Oh, Dad's on his way home.

Speaker 6 (06:51):
Now.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
A lot of these smart you know, smart on furnace A.
I don't know what you sell him. Like thermostats have
smart thermostat Thank you, my god. I had two sipsu
and I'm like, I can't think like nast, which don't
ever buy NaSTA is terrible. But you can do it
with your phone, so even if somebody is screwing with
it in the house, you just go on your phone
and change it.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
I got an echo be will it alert you if
someone changes the temperature?

Speaker 1 (07:13):
It will not alert you. And well, I don't have
notifications on it. I guess it would.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Yeah, what if you had him turned on. I don't
have him either.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
But I went up to Luke's room once, and this
is in the wintertime, and he had his air conditioning
on in the wintertime.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
I'm like, sometimes he turned it on.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Yeah, because for Luke, he came back home from his
fraternity and he was really hot.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
And anyone heat rises in my apartment, I got like
a two level kind of thing, so the first level
is always cool when you go upstairs, though as hot
as hair.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
Yeah, it's hot. Hold on a second, Michelle is on
with us right now. What's up, Michelle?

Speaker 6 (07:50):
I just wanted Kevin and know I relate, relate. Grandma
refused us to turn on her ear.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
Okay, she's got arthritis, but you escalating.

Speaker 6 (07:58):
Fans of escalating.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
No here, my grandma called him Arthur. She's like Arthur
back talking about Arthur writing in the car.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
Listen, there is there is a certain temperature where the
air outside does not work. It doesn't rolling the windows now,
it's not okay, you gotta turn the air conditioned on.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
In there. It's like the devil breathing.

Speaker 4 (08:30):
On you.

Speaker 6 (08:34):
And my air is blowing on me.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
I love you, thank you, thank you for the call.
I appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
This is the thing your grandparents are going to realize
when you don't visit them in the summertime.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
Grandma be thinking of popsicle, going help, She's like, get
a popsicle, Like, it's not her heart.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Body is hot, is not gonna work. There's a blue
one in there, your favorite. I'm like, don't care. Are
those ones that come in the strips? Yes? What do
they call their?

Speaker 6 (09:03):
Like?

Speaker 2 (09:05):
Are the greatest?

Speaker 1 (09:06):
Can I talk about something else really quick? When it
comes to weather related? How pissed were you last night
when you were watching the NBA Finals and Dave rex
Roth from Channel seven interrupting with like, weather updates.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
I've never hated w x y Z so much in
my life. I'm like, I don't even live in Leland.
Gave the damn what's going on in living?

Speaker 1 (09:28):
I'm nowhere near And they put the screen, they put
the actual game at a really like small level.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
I can't even see it.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Yes, And I'm thinking to myself, why don't you just
talk audio wise? Why do I need to see the map?
I don't want to see the map. And it was
like ten pm and that Arboro. I'm fifty minutes away.
It's not going happen here. What's his name, Dave, Dave Rexroth?
You kissed me off, Dave?

Speaker 2 (09:51):
It was.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
It was at a point where the game just started,
like literally, they waited till the game tipped off.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
They didn't even do it during the national anthem. They
could have done it during all the pregame.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Dave rex Roth comes on right as the game comes up,
and I'm telling you, I think I know why he
does it. I think they do it for purposes of
people going on social media talking about it and being passed.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Here's that. I think.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
There's my conspiracy is there is no reason why you
got to tell us about the tornado, like you said,
in an area that your TV station doesn't even go to.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
I'm not there. It has to be smart enough. I'm
in downtown to train, I don't even know where is
I'm like, Livingston, where are these places?

Speaker 1 (10:31):
And then when he went south, this is in the
Detroit area. Then he goes south on the map to
like Ohio, and I'm like.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
Dave, you're not even in Ohio.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
The hell no, no offense to our friends and everybody
listens to us on kissing Toledo.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
He's actually a very nice. Yeah.
