Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, Mojo in the morning, cav witness something yesterday

(00:02):
that was pretty crazy brow.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
This lady ran over a guy. Have you ever seen
somebody go by a car? So I'm coming down Jefferson,
coming down Jefferson making a right on the street cars
Saint aub And these are just facts, but it's not
I I'm right there, and they have these weird like
on Jefferson.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
I don't know if they're like this in other places, but.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
They got these weird like lanes where it's almost like, yes,
it's a bike lane, but it's so wide that it
can fit a whole car. So some cars are confused
whether that's the lane you're supposed to go into turn
or if you're supposed to make like the wider turn
from the second lane.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
And I think that's what happened with this lady.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
So I'm driving down Jefferson, trying to make the right
on Saint Auban, but cars aren't moving where the light
is even though it's green. And I look and I
see this guy with like a black it's it's not
like a line scooter.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
It didn't look like a scooter.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
It looked like an actual bike, black bike underneath this
black jeep wagoneer tent win and he's trying to yank
his bike from under it. So the person that ran
over this guy ran over his bike. They cussing each
other out. I'm looking the whole time, like what is
going on?

Speaker 3 (01:11):
So what did you do? Did you stop?

Speaker 4 (01:13):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:14):
I just kept going because they was blocking the road
that I was in, so I had to keep going down.

Speaker 5 (01:17):
Jefferson in the wagon ear though who ran him over
was just in the car.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Then they ran over the car again so he could
finally get his bike out because he couldn't pull it
from under their car, so they had to like roll
over it again. And then by the time I was gone,
I could only see so much in a rearview.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Wow, so you witnessed a person get hit by a car, facts, bro.
And he was pissed too. Is it like in the
movies when a person ends up? When a person ends
up like going over the front of the car, I
didn't see all of that.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Now, I didn't see that.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Help.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
I always wondered, like in a movie, you know, the
guy's like running and he crosses the street, gets hit
by the car, runs goes over the thing, and and
then he keeps running and gets up.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
And I'm about yanking his bike, like cussing at them
through the passenger windshield, yanking his bike out of the
under the car.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
But this is insane.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
I've never, thank god, I've never hit any whose fault
was it?

Speaker 1 (02:17):
If you're a if you're a police officer stopped by
the police officers and they're asking you, are you witnessed this?

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Who is that fault? You think the bike ben and iron,
I don't. I don't know what.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
I don't know which color the light was from his
direction or if he was watching a little white little
figure where they tell you can walk instead of stop.
I don't know who's fault it was, but they always
try to blame it on the drive anyway.

Speaker 5 (02:42):
As I say, but the bikeclists could have not been
paying attention to facts.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
People on bikes definitely have a there's a there's laws
protecting them because there's a lot of times where people
run them off the road.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
People with bikes have a god complex. They think they
could do whatever well. And this is the thing.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
You gotta be really careful sometimes with the people with
the bikes because the cops are always thinking that the
cop they're a pedestrian, even though they want to be
able to just ride out in the middle of the street.
You know, I don't like bikes like that. Eight four
four Mojo Live eight four four six six five six
five four eight. Have you ever witnessed somebody getting uh
hit by a car? Quick question for you on this one.

(03:21):
Was the bike guy like one of those people that
does it for their job, like where they have to
like deliver things and things like that, or was it
a guy getting exercise. I didn't see like subway and
chips all over the ground.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
It was a clear ground.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
He had a white T shirt on and he was
yanking and like he was trying to start a lawmar
like you know, he was like yanking.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
And trying to get from under there. And it wasn't budget.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Because when you're in New York and you see those
bike people on bikes, yeah, they get hit by a car,
they don't stop and do a police report. They continued,
like uber delivery or whatever.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
We've in and out of those busy streets. It's scarce
a crap out of me.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
It is a different world in a city like that,
like a big city like that, where those people are
always acting, you know, and protecting them, you know, their job,
making sure that their.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Job gets done.

Speaker 5 (04:08):
What you do.

Speaker 6 (04:10):
Here.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
You don't like talking from that other microphone? Do you
can't take calls on top? Okay, what's going on? What's
going on? So I actually hit someone a bicycle.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
I was driving my car and the guy landed on
my windshield because he was trying to cross the street
and I didn't stop my car to let him go,
so he.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Was like, he voted. He landed on my windshield like this.
I was debating on leaving, but I got out of
my car.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
You gotta get out debating, Yeah, you get out.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
That's a hit and run. You're in trouble.

Speaker 5 (04:48):
So I went up.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
I went up to him and I'm like, man.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
I don't know what you need, but I got a
first daid to get.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
At home if you need the car. But what happened
was the bike.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
The bike handlebars like turn and hit his nuts.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
So he fell to the ground. And when he got up,
he's like.

Speaker 7 (05:07):
Just go.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Alone. He's like, I want to call the cops. Just
please leave, Please go away. But I got the hug,
but he thought he was gonna get hurt more by you.
What's up? Uh? Who is just on the phone with us?
Is it is? It's Samuel, Samuel? What's up? Samuel? Not much?
How are you guys today? Good?

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Kevin witnessed a guy get hit by a car yesterday
he did.

Speaker 4 (05:37):
Yeah, I saw someone down deep downtown Detroit. We were
leaving a Lions game, just pouring rain outside and we
were walking back to the car after the game. Big
mob outside. Saw some guy get hit by a car
and just thrown across the street, landed face down in
a puddle of water. So we had to drag him
out of the out of the water. He popped right
back up and walked away.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Wait, he just got up in That's amazing.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
And we were looking for the police and couldn't find anyone.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
He took care of himself.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
I always think that you're wanted by the laws. That's
the case. You don't want air and the cops help
you at all. Uh, Tina, what's happening?

Speaker 5 (06:16):
Hi?

Speaker 3 (06:17):
Tina?

Speaker 4 (06:17):
Hi?

Speaker 7 (06:19):
Hi, first time, long time.

Speaker 8 (06:21):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
Thank you.

Speaker 9 (06:26):
We love you guys so much.

Speaker 5 (06:27):
Listen to you every morning.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
We love you too. Thank you.

Speaker 5 (06:31):
Also, I just want to say, mojoh, I'm praying for Chelsea.
I'm a cancer survivor, and I go to the Healing
Mask every Wednesday, so I will light candles for her.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
Oh you're beautiful, Thank you so much. That means everything
to us. Thank you.

Speaker 5 (06:43):
You're welcome, You're so welcome. So yeah, I was hit
by a car many years ago and I was walking
leaving the bar with my boyfriend at the time and
his friends.

Speaker 7 (06:54):
We were crossing a pretty big street in Houston and
this guy came out of nowhere. He had no headlights on.
We never saw him coming and I get the windshields,
my head neckar back and fell off the car and
my shoes were behind.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
The car, and oh Jesus, are you okay? Were you okay?

Speaker 5 (07:15):
I was okay. And it's so crazy because I had
a friend there who ended up going in the ambulance
with me and getting a date out of it, which
is and I actually ended up. I actually ended up
knowing the guy that hit me. He used to come
into the bar I used to work at, came in
one day and he was like, isn't that crazy that like,

(07:36):
I was the one that hit you, and I'm like, what.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
Oh it was. I would look to see what kind
of damage I did to the car. Like, I know
that sounds weird to say that. I wouldn't want to
know how much damage I did to my body. I
just want to know. Oh crap, did I like put
a big indult.

Speaker 5 (07:53):
I was walking so there was no car.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
Oh man, that's crazy, that's so sad.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
I'm glad that you're you're safe, and I'm glad that
you're cancer survivor too.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
Thank you so much, Thank you so much.

Speaker 7 (08:06):
You guys have a great day, you too.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
Take care.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
Liz, your husband got hit by a car while he
was on his bike.

Speaker 9 (08:13):
No, the opposite.

Speaker 10 (08:14):
Oh my husband hit.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
Somewhere like Bianca did. Yeah?

Speaker 9 (08:20):
Oh wait, yeah funny. We were pulling out of a
parking lot. It was just before dusk and a little dark.
We looked both ways.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
All of a.

Speaker 9 (08:28):
Sudden, a bike flew into my side, the passenger side.
I screamed. The guy jumped up. He was about six
foot four, three hundred pounds. He was huge, and started
yelling and banging on my window. We got out of
the car. He kept saying, we're gonna have to buy
him a new bike. Called the cops, so we did,
and he got charged. Riding on the bike on the
sidewalk the wrong way.

Speaker 5 (08:48):
Wow, by the way, are you Are you one of
our Canadian listeners.

Speaker 9 (08:53):
I am one of your Canadian listeners.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
Oh, when you're six foot four, three hundred pounds, you're
not riding a bike.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
A bike is riding here, very Amanda. What's going on? Hi?

Speaker 7 (09:09):
First time long?

Speaker 3 (09:12):
What's happening?

Speaker 4 (09:14):
So?

Speaker 6 (09:14):
I live out in Marine City, Michigan, and I was
driving down Riene City Highway to have twenty six mile
road and I was getting close to Palm's Road and
there was this couple on a motorcycle and this young
woman was turning right and wasn't paying attention and hit them.
They went flying, their bike was shattered across the road.

Speaker 8 (09:36):
It was the most horrific scene I ever seen. I
helped do tour traffic. I called nine to one one.
It was probably the most horrifying scene I ever looked.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
Like, say, that's the reason why you can't ride a motorcycle.
Motor these motorcycles are risking your life.

Speaker 6 (09:54):
And they weren't wearing helmets.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
It was so bad.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
See used to always say to me if I got
a motorcycle that I wasn't allowed to wear a helmet
because if I got hit.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
She wanted me dead. That she did, I've heard of God.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
She was like, I'm not taking care of you because
she did not want me on a motorcycle.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
That's scary. What's up, Dustin?

Speaker 10 (10:16):
Hey, what are you guys doing today?

Speaker 4 (10:18):
Well?

Speaker 3 (10:18):
Okay, what's going on Dustin?

Speaker 2 (10:20):
Okay?

Speaker 10 (10:21):
So a couple of years back, I was going to
a job interview. I used stay in Vegas.

Speaker 3 (10:26):
So the job interview was at.

Speaker 10 (10:28):
A strip like pretty much like a strip mall, and
they had a box truck parked by, like you know,
the interest to the strip mall. So as I pulled
me in out of nowhere, this a fight just came
just in front of me. So I hit the gas boom,
hit him. You kill cars fly there.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
My.

Speaker 10 (10:47):
When I seen the usual cars on my windshield, I'm
having a heart. I'm thinking I'm hitting kid. And next
thing you know, I get out the car.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
It's a grown man.

Speaker 10 (10:54):
He was like, hey, bro, you take me down the street.
I'm like, I was like, I mean, I felt at
this point I'm obligated to do it because I hear him.
So I took him down the street and act, you know,
I went back because I had an interview and they
was like, hey, did you just hit that dude on
the fight. I was like I was like, uh yeah,

(11:16):
remember he came out of nowhere. They was like yeah,
I think he didn't come out of nowhere. I was like, yes,
good because I was not throb.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
I like that I was obligated the guy
