Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Mojo in the morning show.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Uh Anna, what do you want to say now? I
want to say they keep canceling.
Speaker 3 (00:08):
Yes, who my hairstylist I know as a woman, and
I'm learning men too, because Mojo was literally just talking
about this. I'm very loyal to my hairstylist because I
love how he does my hair. Yeah, he's been doing
my hair for over five years. Great relationship with him.
He's a great guy. He has gotten more popular as
(00:31):
I have also grown in my career, and probably within
the last year and a half, he has had to
cancel my appointment three times.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
Really, what does he like? Cance calls you up and
cancels it.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
Yeah, like day up.
Speaker 1 (00:44):
He'll have an excuse.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
So like one time it was his dog was sick
and he had to take him to the doctor. Another
time it was he had a really bad tooth issue.
Last Friday, I was supposed to have an appointment. He
told me he threw his back out. This is a
young guy. I'm not saying he's lying. Things happen all
the time, but at what point is it not. Life happens,
(01:06):
And I'm just like, you don't respect my time, mind
you I schedule my appointments before I have big events
that I need my hair done.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
I want to say, a hair appointment's like Christmas Day.
You look forward to that thing on your calendar.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
I have a big event this weekend, and now I
don't have an appointment with him in another three weeks,
because that's when he can hit me into his schedule.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
So wait a second. So when he cancels you, he
doesn't get you.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
Not right away, because he carry sought after.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
You can't cancel. I don't know who this guy is.
I'm talking to him though through the radio, George, you
can you can't cancel a woman's hair and then say, yeah,
I don't have another appointment for a couple of weeks.
Like that, You know what that's like. That is the
equivalent of your heart doctor canceling on you and saying
i'll see you in a month, like it's your home.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
You like, I don't want to leave him and find
another person, because it's scary finding someone who can do
your hair again, Like, I don't want them to mess
it up. But this is really messing up my schedule now.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
I think is he aware that he has canceled on
you specifically three times in the past year.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
I don't think I've said that, but this time when
he canceled, I was like, oh wow, And then he
was very apologetic afterwards. But I'm hoping that he realizes
that you have literally canceled on me three times.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
You like him so much. I mean, I know that
you know this. You said that you've kind of grown
with this guy as he's grown. Do you think he's
ever canceling you for other bigger tipping people.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
I wonder that too. No, I don't think maybe not tips,
but like maybe he has a higher priority client, Like
I know he does some very popular people's hair.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
So here's the this is interesting. I uh, I think
at this point right now, if if you're you get
canceled three times like that, you got to find somebody.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
You got to have a backup, ye stressing me out?
Speaker 2 (02:55):
Do you guys think this? And I want to ask
the listeners this too. Do you think I think if
the hair of person cancels, you don't you think that
they have a twenty four hour period, they got to
make it up in Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
Maybe not twenty four hours, but not three weeks, like.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
They have a cancelation fee. If I cancel last minute,
you should be.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Pretty Wait, that's a that's a good point, Brianna. What's up?
Speaker 4 (03:17):
Hi, guys, Anna, I understand your pain. My best friend
used to do my hair. And when I say, this
girl canceled all me all the time, I'm talking to
like once or twice a month.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
It will be the day of hour before.
Speaker 4 (03:32):
It doesn't matter. If I had an then whatever she
was gonna cancel, I would send people to where she
would not show up.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
It's the worst.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
That's actually making me think. I am also friends with
this guy, so maybe they're more okay with canceling on
us because we have that friend.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
Yes, yeah, that's that you know that could very well be.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
I uh, I think that you're not a priority to them,
that this is this sucks and you're right with women
in the her hair women go and get their hair
done either on schedule or four schedules, and I think
that you can't.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
Do it before somebody has a schedule. So, Drew, what's up?
I tell you?
Speaker 5 (04:13):
What's going on?
Speaker 1 (04:14):
How you doing, buddy? What do you want to say?
Speaker 6 (04:17):
I'm good. Well, I just wanted to make a comment
to Anna about giving a reference about a hairstylist. I've
got her a wife who's very picky about her hair.
Been with a stylist for many years and had to
leave for other reasons. So she's search and search and
search and search on.
Speaker 7 (04:33):
A lady that is young, is trying to build a
book of business. And she's in West Bloomfield, and I
would be more than happy.
Speaker 6 (04:41):
To give you her name and location.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Okay, Well, you know what, if.
Speaker 7 (04:46):
Anything, if anything, I believe, I believe, if I'm not mistaken,
she's gonna kill thee in community.
Speaker 6 (04:52):
But she's really good and she's trying to build a
book of business, and I mean it's worth giving a
shout out.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
All right, cool, go ahead, shout her out if you
want to.
Speaker 6 (05:03):
Bernie is Elizabeth and she's at the salon on Pana
Treill and Teggarty. I think it's uh, it's right next
to fifth or think I can't remember what it's called.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
Okay, No, I don't do it, Anna, why now, I'm
just I'm sure she's great.
Speaker 5 (05:24):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Listener.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
Megan says she also does hair and she wants to
do your hair. What's up, Megan?
Speaker 5 (05:32):
Hey, Yeah, So I work at Trico and Arbor at Briarwood,
and I've been doing hair for twenty A little bit
of a dry, but it's totally worth it. I've been
doing hair for twenty one years. Started when I was nineteen,
so that gives you my age, But worked ten years
in Chicago, and I'm a color specialist. I only focus
(05:54):
on women, and if I had to advert cancel on
a client, I make sure to make any of my
unavailable days available and come in for that client the
next day or you know, as soon as possible for
all my ladies. All right, so come see me. I'll
take care of you. My prices are good and my
(06:15):
work is exceptional.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
So what do you get done? I like it? Thanks.
Speaker 3 (06:20):
So I'm a natural dirty blonde, so I have to
get my roots died like every six weeks, and then
trims and stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
Hold on, Anne wants to talk to Anna and ask
a question. What's your question?
Speaker 1 (06:33):
Anne?
Speaker 6 (06:34):
Good morning.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
I just wanted to ask, is she just canceling your
appointments or everybody else on the schedule for the day. Yeah,
I don't know. I wondered that too. I honestly have
no idea because he just texts me and tells me.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
But that's a good point.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
I should just show up one of these days and
be like, Oh, I wonder if he's still taking card
figure out.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
Yeah, I wonder if that's the if this guy's pulling
some shenanigans.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
But I don't think it's malicious though.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
I think anytime you deal with someone you have a relationship,
especially if you consider that person a friend, they'll think, oh,
they'll understand.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
I had this happen with a guy that does fixing work,
like fix it work.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
So years ago.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
It was a buddy of mine, really good friend of mine,
and he would do fix it work for me, like
you know, like handyman stuff. And I would be like, hey,
you know, I got a toilet that's broken, you know,
can you come over and fix it? Absolutely, I'll be
there tomorrow. Tomorrow comes not there. And we only had
two toilets in the entire house. Guess what, we're all
pooping and waiting to poop. So that was pretty much
(07:39):
what we would do. Guy would cancel on me then,
same thing. You know, all this stuff. Then I was
and you can stay on the phone or you can
hang up if you're bored with my call or my comment.
I was going to do my basement at the time,
and I hired somebody other than him to do my basement.
He got so pissed off at me and Chelsea were
(08:00):
hiring somebody else, going hey, I do this for a living.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
And I said, guess what.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
You didn't come and give a crap when I needed
to take a crap, So guess I hired somebody else.
So here's the thing to this hairstylist guy, Oh her
her her static?
Speaker 1 (08:19):
What's wrong with the static? It's just killing me?
Speaker 3 (08:21):
Are you.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
Annoyed?
Speaker 2 (08:25):
So let me finish my story is almost so? Then?
So then I.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
Where was I forgot? Crap?
Speaker 3 (08:31):
I know the static is driving me crazy.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
No, so I So here's what I would say to
this guy, this hairstylist guy, Anna Rob can shoot you
probably some more good business. You just you just aft up.
Now she's got all these other people that are going
to want to do this whole thing. So all right,
that's all I had to say.
Speaker 1 (08:50):
Are we good? I feel good? All right? Good? Now
who's doing your head? Yeah? We got to figure that out.
You got a couple of
Speaker 3 (08:58):
Choices the auto show this weekend, and so if anyone
can get me in before that,
