One of four point five is is an X. What
up it is? Mike? All right, it is time for
Irish off Ionia and no Stranger to sn X. No
Stranger to Irish off Ionia is a good friend of mine,
of the station and of Irish off Ionia. It is
Jason Bieder aka Kindred. You could follow him on Instagram
and Facebook at Kindred Music. And dude, it's so cool
(00:20):
to see you take over Irish off Ionia because you're
now running all the entertainment right yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
Man, So I'm so excited to be one coming back
to perform. I played at it last year and as
you know, you and I did this gig for years,
oh yeah, when we were on Ionia and last year
coming back was so much fun. We had just a
great day of weather. I mean you remember seven time
and that was beautiful, sumps to be saved and we
(00:48):
just had so much fun that day. It was so
great to come back. But then to come back this
year to play and then to have the Irish off
Ionian people come to me and say, hey, guys, you
know we want to move forward and really push more
entertainment and come to me and ask hey, would you
be willing to come on board and help us move
that forward in the direction that we want to go
(01:09):
and really step up the level of entertainment and step
up the show quality of this thing was a massive
compliment and really exciting for me because I've been such
great a part of this festival for so long that
coming board on board and doing this next step it
was so great. And the show we've put together, Man,
(01:30):
I gotta be honest. It's call me biased whatever you want,
but this is gonna be a great day of entertainment
and the party, and it really is. The music, the.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
Food, the huge Saint Patty's Day party. We're talking to
beer tents, right, We're talking two stages, which Jason Veeder
aka Kindred will be hosting and DJing both of those
tons of other acts there as well. And then did
I hear more beer tents as well?
Speaker 2 (01:54):
Yeah? Man, we've got a full We changed the layout
of the whole the whole festival first of all, and
we kind of moved things around after last year and
once we got our sea legs under us from from
last year and kind of went okay, this worked, this didn't.
We moved the stage. It's gonna be bigger, it's in
a more focal point kind of location. Uh. And we
were able to add another stage as well, which that
(02:15):
stage added another six acts that were able to push
out for everybody, which is gonna be absolutely amazing. Multiple
beer tends, multiple food vendors. Yes, I mean this, This
show got bigger and better in every single way. Uh,
you know myself DJing, I've got my buddy Malkey DJing.
We've got an amazing lineup of so many different artists. Uh,
(02:36):
some from West Michigan, some from all over the state.
We were bringing in a headliner out of Ohio who
I've been a huge fan of for a very long time, Motherfolk. Uh.
They're just they've got a new album out and I
absolutely love their music. So when we were able to
get those guys on board, man, I I'm so excited
for this show.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
Oh it's gonna be insane. It's gonna be saying. The
show is gonna be insane. The drinking is gonna be insane.
The tents, the heated tent is gonna be absolutely amazing.
Because it might be a little chilly this year, but
that's okay. March fourteenth called their plaza the whole Mojo
in the Morning crew gonna be there as well with
the you know that infamous ice luge, so you can
have drinks out of that. Jason Veed are gonna be
hosting and performing. I'm sure I'll see you multiple times.
(03:18):
But we always have a blast while we're on stage,
and I know that we're doing some sort of stage
announcement at some point, but outside of that, it's always
fun to hang with you, always fun to watch you
do your thing.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
Man.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
