Speaker 1 (00:01):
On air at AM five to seventy LA Sports and
I'm demand of the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
This is the Petros and Money Show.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
You are one of the kind, hosted by Petros Papaday
guests left school after sixth grade.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Look at him and the voice of the Bolts Matt
money Smith. The answer is money.

Speaker 4 (00:19):
There is nothing you can do. You know it's coming.

Speaker 5 (00:23):
This is the Petros in Money Show on the home
of your world champion Los Angeles Dodgers.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Make us your top preset on the iHeartRadio app Honday.
The hardest thing to learn in life is which bridge
to cross and which to burn?

Speaker 4 (00:41):
I mean, I'll trus some money. I am five seventy
LA Sports, A three to six show. Dodgers back Home
gaalpin Ford Broadcast Booth. We'll have first pitch between the
Dodgers and Padres at seven to ten pm. Roki Sasaki
on the Mound. Dodgers on Decad six and feel like
we should start the show off by alerting folks. Tim
Kates has been talking about this since it was first announced.

(01:02):
It is one piece night, one piece night.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Yeah, I mean for I mean I would have stopped
the show, but it's been happening too much lately because
Fred is such stops well, Fred is such a yeah,
a lot of stops and starts like a bus.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
You know, or this is not the Express. We are
not driving the Express these days.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
A game with a lot of fouls called you know.
But I would have stopped the show. And before we
get into the one piece chaos, Matt, I would just
like to say, I would like to thank Jonas Knox
of Fox Sports Radio because you could tell I told
him that what Fred was doing at the end of
the show was unacceptable. And how Fred goes to it

(01:44):
does a thirty minute segment. We've talked about this.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
Worse than OJ.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
What he Fred does is worse than OJ. He does
a thirty, thirty or twenty minute segment, takes like a
nine minute break, comes back for thirty seconds, and then
sends it back to break. And that is our lead
in It's It's unacceptable.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
It's sabotage is intentional. It is intentional show sabotage. What
he is doing to us.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Listen, all of y'all, it's a sabotage. So I got
a text from a guy that he ate well. I
had yesterday and the day before have texted Jonas Knox
that this aggression cannot stand. You know, it's one thing
for Fred to do it to Rodney. I don't even
know if Rodney's there at the end of the show,
but I don't I don't know. Jonas knocks to be

(02:34):
a loafer, as you know, Matt.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
Wow, he's double dipping. I mean, he's doing double duty.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Jonas loves to work, he loves sports talk radio, and
he loves to host sports talk radio. And I told him,
don't let Fred do that. It's wrong. And I explained
to him what Fred was doing, and he said, you're right,
that is wrong, okay, And then I got and we've
complained about that other part on the air this week.
Matt and I got this text from the text uscle

(03:01):
on the eight one eight today. It says, I had
to listen for myself after your rants ten minutes for
a twenty six second exit segment that only went long
because of Jonas. Seriously Fred, and I wrote, I made
Jonas jump in there, and he wrote it did sound
like he was deliberately trying to get Fred to extend.

(03:23):
Too bad. Fred as a master of not finishing. Is
that what happened Ronnie did Jonas try to extend it
and Fred once again chop his head off.

Speaker 6 (03:33):
You know, I do feel like when Fred was kind
of getting ready because I can see Fred on the
zoom as well, so I can kind of judge by
Fred's body language that he's getting ready to break. Jonas
can see that too. So then Jonas will introduce something.
You'll say, well, by the way, Fred, or hey, how
about this, and how f ust to kind of make
you know Fred's come on petrols. You know Fred just

(03:57):
as well better than I do. He does not hide
his body language. Well, no, he has bad body language,
and it shows every single time. It looks like every
single time looks like Fred, like, what are you doing?
I'm trying to break?

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Puffed prostate? Fred shifting in his chairs.

Speaker 6 (04:14):
Swollen ankles.

Speaker 4 (04:15):
Fred, Oh he really does have those cankles.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
Oh, there's no doubt. I mean they used to look
like two big hams laying there when we did the
jelly stuffed into dress. Sucks.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
Anyway, we appreciate Jonas for trying, right, Matt, you know,
I mean trying to fight against Warren crime for the
Petrosen money show. Not easy, No, not easy you're going
up against it.

Speaker 6 (04:39):
I think Jonas deserves triple PA.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Well maybe I don't know. Let's not get crazy, but
it's like trying to stop the carjacktings in Johannesburg, Matt.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
Not if you want to pay him out of your paycheck,
he deserves triple Ronnie.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
Yeah, if you still want to work or become an
automated machine. Yeah, now, Matt. That being said, there is
a Johannesburg like chaos going down in beautiful Chavez Ravine
right now, and as you pointed out earlier, Matt, it
is an unnecessary.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
Chaos, unnecessary, unnecessary. They have expanded. We talked about how
they had already expanded the straw hat giveaway from forty
K to fifty two K one piece Night Strong, one
piece night straw Hat card. And the thing was then
Tim was like, it's not about the hat, it's about
the car. And if this is as much his fault
as anybody's, Tim, because you've been advertising this for months now,

(05:31):
how about this is not my fault, Yes it is.
How about you're the one that's been screaming and yelling about,
Oh I gotta get my hands on that card. They're
going for twenty five hundred bucks right now.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Yeah, and then Ronnie was like, my son meets seventy
eight thousand dollars last year and one piece mate twenty
dollars about a condominium.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
Twenty five from four grand now.

Speaker 6 (05:50):
And I never even got a sniff of it, not
a sense, See.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
What I mean? Kate? It's you're like the one piece
cards from last year going for four.

Speaker 7 (05:57):
Grand because they were limited last year exactly, and you
didn't ever share with people that these aren't limited.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
Matt, I didn't know. You think he manipulated and stoked
the market fire.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
I think he got a call. Yeah, I do.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
Is that you unclon?

Speaker 4 (06:14):
Is that you dude? It is once you do it,
do me a favorite plant, some seeds. You know, it's
not that you won't be telling a lie, you just
won't be telling the full truth. But we are going
to give away fifty two thousand of these cards so
people don't have to freak out. But you don't just
kind of point out how much the one from last
year is going for and how did the Yeah, because

(06:36):
I get it, I get so much in return. Yes,
you're right, it's right.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
Do me a solid no problem with colon.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
We'll be happy to do it for you. Man.

Speaker 6 (06:45):
Yeah, here's a nice here's a nice forged tin ring
for you.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
Here. It's just like a.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
Yeah, it's your fault, Kates. And now they took until
today to say, hey, it's not a limited edition card.
It's both. The straw hat and card are going to
fifty two thousand. So you show up at six o'clock
or whatever, five ten or five forty when the gate's open,
or six point fifty twenty minutes before first pitch, very

(07:16):
very very good chance you're getting your straw hat and
you're getting your card and have at it, post it
on eBay, immediately set your reserve for seventy five hundred
dollars in good luck with that.

Speaker 7 (07:31):
Now Dodger Stadium holds fifty six thousand in change. If
you're one of the four thousand people who that's on,
you don't get a hat and a card.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
Well, I mean, if you're like Fred and you're in
the desert on zoom, you might not make it here.

Speaker 4 (07:44):
Can Jonas stop talking. I've got to hit the ten
west immediately.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
I've got to hit the road.

Speaker 7 (07:52):
There should have been a little bit of clarification days
not hours in advance.

Speaker 4 (07:57):
Ooh, you calling dirty pool here, Cake, No, I.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
Would never do that about the Dodgers. I would never
say that about.

Speaker 7 (08:04):
I'm just saying in general dirty pool. Maybe let everybody
know sooner up the gate.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
Hey.

Speaker 4 (08:11):
You know what, though, I'll say this dirty pool, not
dirty pool. You get what you deserve. If the only
reason you're buying these tickets is to roll the dice
to try to get some piece of cardboard that you
can sell on eBay, that you're treating it like an investment,
well that's gambling, all right, kids, And you'll win some
and you lose some. And you gambled and you paid
a premium for the ticket thinking you could get the

(08:33):
card and you lost. So whatever, Sit on your one
of fifty two thousand instead of one of fifty two hundred,
and accept that maybe the international marketplace will allow you
to recoup the excess that you paid for your tickets
above face, so you could get a shot at making
some real cash.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
There's a lot of you know, a lot of people
have some very very strong platforms or stances about one
piece night on this show, and it is an interesting thing,
you know. Matt insists that the value is plummeting. Kate's
drummed up a lot of chaos. Ronnie very bitter that

(09:15):
he was not cut into the one piece boon last
year during the season from his son Julian. Everybody's got
kind of their own compartment when it comes to this
one piece situation. This just came from the nine to
nine on the text OsO Is Desk cop Kates intentionally
causing collusion on the trading card black market for shame.

Speaker 7 (09:40):
If I had that kind of power, folks, I'd be
wielding it in different directions. I would not be wielding
in putting my magic touch on a one piece card,
which is by the way, going for about an average
of six hundred and fifty dollars the one right now,
the one that's being given away tonight pre sale on eBay,
but average about six fifty.

Speaker 4 (09:59):
There's some form seven hundred. There's a couple for five
point fifty. I feel like you got to get on
that right away before these people maybe fake advice.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
Don't take his advice. You sell it now for six
hundred and six thousand.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Or that's what they're posting at and they're not going
to sell for that, Like that's what they're asking like.
It's one thing to ask for that, it's another thing
to like say it's got to.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
You know what. I feel like Matt might be colluding
to I don't think they're gonna sell trying to devalue.
Matt's trying to devalue. Kates is trying to up the value.

Speaker 4 (10:28):
I'm a short seller. Ronnie's bitter.

Speaker 6 (10:30):
I think the novelty has worn off Petros. I don't
think it's gonna sell for much at all.

Speaker 4 (10:33):
I don't think you can ask the line to get
in the stadium.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
You know what, they're in line for the hat. The hat.
I'm on the floor places holding a bunch of paper
in my head, screaming and yelling.

Speaker 4 (10:45):
It's no different than orangs Ear's features. We're talking about here.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
And you know what, I'm tired of people texting me saying, Hey,
stop bitching and moaning and pitching a fit about Fred.
Get over it. Listen, guys, I don't think you understand
and how egregious it.

Speaker 4 (11:01):
Is with these A lot of piece of s move
this really.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
Is, yes, I mean, these are long breaks because of
the Dodger road trip, because our show is so successful,
and because of the the days off and things like
that tomorrow because of the fourth of July observed, as
Matt's has told us, fourth of July observed, there's long
breaks and for Fred to take a ten minute break

(11:23):
and then do a thirty second segment and then say
goodbye when there is no hard out, there is no
event coming up behind him is a real piece of
s move and it's had to be called out on
air to shame him. And that's what we've done. And
I'm sorry if you have a problem with it, but
it's aggression that cannot stand. I think we're all in

(11:46):
agreement there, Ronnie. You run their board. You said it's
the most draining three hours of your.

Speaker 6 (11:52):
Life on a daily basis.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
Yes, blood letting Matt like they used to do with them,
right Cherie tim here.

Speaker 4 (12:01):
Here, I agree?

Speaker 3 (12:02):
Okay, thank you, we're all in agree.

Speaker 4 (12:05):
Here's a problem.

Speaker 7 (12:05):
Fred doesn't care. Fred's, you know, looking for cougars right
now and sitting on my top.

Speaker 3 (12:11):
Oh my god, I got a text here that says
Fred has a muffin top on top of his son.

Speaker 6 (12:20):
All Fred cares about is three o'clock happy hour there day.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
Oh come on, no, you can't be drunk. And then
do the Rogan Report. What's wrong with you? Guys? The
second tape everything, the second stop of the thirteenth Day
will bet you some money. Summer tour. He's coming up
a week from tomorrow, Matt and we're gonna have a
hell of a time.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
Damn right week from Friday July. What's that, guys? We
don't have the corn, guys. I do believe we have
secured a band, though I believe the final touches are
being put on from Dave Wiese as he I believe
is extending an offer to a band. I believe believe

(13:01):
the machinations are in the works now and in person
guest that I feel like Isabellibara? Okay, Isabella is coming?
I think right? Or did is he tell us she
might have a conflict?

Speaker 3 (13:16):
I heard that she might have to pick up her glasses,
but how long does that take?

Speaker 4 (13:19):
She broke her last pair of glasses. She got to
pick some up. So we'll have Isabella bar there is
he from Buyena Park. Outside of that, I think we're
still efforting and in person guests, but the prize is
now live music squared away? Is he squared away? We
think prize is steep and deep is.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
What we got.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
Yeah, prizes on site, Dodger tickets and merch capt and
cook oven plots from barbecues galore. Not a bar, it's
a Barbecue Star two hundred and fifty dollars Barbecue Glare
gift card, a Westinghouse fifty eight inch HD TV, and
we've got wonderful sponsors, as we always do. Sweet James.

(14:03):
If you're hurting an accident, called Sweet James at eight
hundred nine million, or sweet James dot Com with an
office in LA. You're Toyota Dealers. We make it easy.
And Blue Ice Vodka the next best thing to Blue
Heaven on Earth. And we will be right back with
more great sports talk. We have David Vasse at Dodger
Stadium fighting the one piece crowd in his Hyundai Losers.

(14:29):
You know, there's an anime convention too at the LA
Convention Center. All the weirdos are there, and now they're
at up at Dodger Stadium. I mean there's gonna be
a lot of weirdos, Oh wow, a lot of freaks.
And Eric Winalda is going to join us to talk
LA Soccer, the Evil Red Card. Our dear friend, Eric, Gnaldo,

(14:51):
one of the great US born soccer players of all time,
will join us in the four o'clock hour. But right
now it's time to take a break and David Vasse
will join us next.

Speaker 2 (15:09):

Speaker 3 (15:57):
All right, it's time for David Vese.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
With an inside look at the Dodgers. This is the
Vassie Report with David Vasse.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
Terrible terrible game yesterday, terrible traffic fighting his way into
Dodger Stadium tonight. He doesn't get a weekend off, he
doesn't get a holiday. He's gotta wrap himself in old
glory and go to battle, bring in Dodger Baseball to
the people all weekend, along with the Dodgers and Padres

(16:29):
here in beautiful Los Angeles. David Vase is joining us
right now after fighting the one piece crowd from Spectrum
Sports and at LA from the MLB Network, and right
here on AM five seventy, brought to you by Downy Hyundai,
it is David Vasse. How are you, Dave.

Speaker 8 (16:49):
I'm doing great, guys.

Speaker 5 (16:50):
I'm in my Ionic nine, my Dodger Blue Ionic nine,
and it feels like, you know, everybody in LA is
getting there. Fourth of July weekend started today. Everybody's on
the freeways trying to get out of town. And you're right, Petros.
I got a video from somebody that was driving into
Dodger Stadium around eleven this morning, and there was already

(17:12):
a line for this one piece card and one piece hat.
I've actually had former Dodger players called me begging me
to see if I could get them one of those
one piece cards.

Speaker 8 (17:24):
And I said, I don't know, I don't know, I
don't think so, but we'll see what we can do.

Speaker 5 (17:29):
But yeah, that's the frenzy level for this one piece
card tonight.

Speaker 8 (17:34):
Not the hat but the card.

Speaker 4 (17:36):
Well, probably a good time to point out the Dodgers
did tweet out that not only are they given away
fifty two thousand, up from forty two thousand straw hats,
but in fact fifty two thousand of these cards. So
it sounds like they may have stumbled upon there being
a frenzied atmosphere and are trying to at least remedy
it by saying everybody is going to get both. So

(17:59):
don't feel like he got a line up earlier that's
going to do anything for you, Dave from last night?
Do you think that was the plan all along? That
it You know, we called it a bullpen game. Dryer
was the opener, but then Charlie Barnes just rolled out
there and pitched the rest of the game. Was that
kind of the idea, Let's make sure we give everybody
a break here and whatever happens happens.

Speaker 5 (18:19):
Yeah, because the Dodgers are in the middle of playing
thirteen in a row, and look, I guess technically it
was a bullpen game because Charlie Barnes came in after
a reliever opener and Jack Dryer, but because he was
able to manage the game for the most.

Speaker 8 (18:35):
Part, I mean six or seven runs in that ballpark.
Some of the better.

Speaker 5 (18:38):
Starters in the league has given up that many runs.
But because he was able to keep his pitch count
in check, it saved the bullpen for this four game
series against the Padres and the rest of this Homestand
because the Dodgers in the thirteen in a row stretch.
After Wednesday's game, they have an off day, rare off

(18:58):
day at home, but there will be off the Dodger
talk on Thursday. But neither here or there, the bullpen
needed a break because of a couple of reasons, the
thirteen in a row and the fact that the Dodgers
wanted to give Otani a couple of extra days off.

Speaker 3 (19:16):
David Masse joining us on your SoCal Toyota Dealers celebrity hotline.
Dodgers boasting a comfortable division lead heading into the final
homestand of the first half, I mean, if the Padres
come in and sweep the Dodgers. Would we even think
about hitting the panic button here, Dave, Like, I mean,

(19:40):
how far gone is this thing? How excited should we
get about this series?

Speaker 8 (19:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (19:46):
Well, if the Padres were to sweep the Dodgers, they're
a very emotional team, they would ride that emotional high,
I'm sure to the All Star break, But it doesn't
seem like that's possible with the way the Dodgers are
playing compared to the way the Padres are playing. And
not to mention, the Padres are going to see the

(20:06):
two best starters the Dodgers have right now in Yamamoto
and Otani in this four game series, So a split
seems like the best the Padres could hope for. And
if they leave town with a split, they're leaving town
twelve games back of the Dodgers, and then the Dodgers
have the Rockies here in town. So the Padres have

(20:27):
really put themselves in a bad spot to try to
win this division. Even at this point, I feel like
it's realistic for them to keep their sights set on
a wildcard spot.

Speaker 4 (20:39):
The AL looks different. I think the AL Maybe Dave
just looks quite I don't know, if depressed is the
right word, but it just doesn't feel like there's much
really good there.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
Light and Matt Blight's a good word.

Speaker 4 (20:50):
Yeah, blight would work. Seems like there's blight in the AL.
You have a division leader at forty four and forty three,
at forty five and forty and then here in the
NL you've got the Brewers, the Break, and the Dodgers.
If you were to tier it, Dave, are the Dodgers
in a tier of their own? And then the Brewers
and the Braves? Are those three clumped together?

Speaker 1 (21:08):
Like?

Speaker 4 (21:08):
How do you see the way the NL shakes out here?
Just about it? The All Star Break?

Speaker 5 (21:15):
I would lump the Phillies in that group too. The
Phillies are one of the hotter teams ever since Don
Mattingly took over, and they arguably have the best pitching
staff this side of the Dodgers in the National League.
So I definitely would group the Phillies and the teams
that you mentioned. But there's no doubt the Dodgers aren't

(21:35):
a different class of everybody.

Speaker 8 (21:37):
That's not to say.

Speaker 5 (21:38):
There's some dangers in a short series if they were
to face one of those teams that you mentioned, and
obviously the trade deadline's going to change the complexion of
things as well, depending on what teams do to try
to close that gap from the Dodgers and themselves. So
I think you mentioned all the right teams there in
the National League that in a series could definitely give

(22:03):
the Dodgers some problems.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
Usually, sometimes over the years, when the trade deadline's approaching,
we say things like, well, the trade deadline's not important.
It's who's coming off the il. That's how you're going
to reload the team. Is there any of that this year?
There still are a few guys waiting. What is the
status of guys like glass Now and Snell and so on.

Speaker 5 (22:28):
Yeah, so you're right, Petros, the Dodgers are counting on
Snell and glass Now coming.

Speaker 8 (22:32):
Back at the end of July and early August.

Speaker 5 (22:35):
I mentioned this a couple of times on the road trip,
with where Snell's at throwing his bullpen sessions. He's basically
where a pitcher would be at the beginning of spring training.
So map it out six weeks from a week ago,
and you're talking about the home stand against the Mariners
and the Red Sox, their first home stand after the
All Star break. So that's realistic to believe when Snell

(22:58):
will return behind him.

Speaker 8 (23:00):
But you know, we won't know. The Dodgers won't know
about Glass now until you.

Speaker 5 (23:05):
Get closer to the trade deadline, and that's where they'll
read and react if they are confident in their starters.
You know, Tommy's left knee in, Blake Snell being that
guy again, and if they are that comfortable, I don't
see the Dodgers emptying the farm for a guy like
Terrek Scouble to get marginally better and trade away guys

(23:28):
like the names that we're hearing for Terrek's Scouble. But
that's all contingent on the health of their rotation.

Speaker 4 (23:34):
On August third, Dave, last one, and you know we
mentioned it yesterday, just qualify it again. Trade deadline, remember,
has moved back. For those that didn't know or weren't
paying attention to August, do you think that that because
of the potential lockout or strike or season canceling and
all that crap. Do you think that we're going to

(23:55):
see maybe like big players be made available, like a
Cory Devers, you know, just because they want to get
them off their books in case we don't have a
season next year. Do you think it'll be quiet because
teams don't want to take that stuff on, not knowing
what next year is going to look like.

Speaker 5 (24:12):
Well, the Rangers are in first place right now, they
are a game above five hundred if they have a
chance to win the division. I don't see them training
Corey Seeger. So they're in a in a one of
those you know, fifty to fifty spots when it comes
to that. I mean those teams that you're talking about Devers,
who would take on Devers with his reputation right now?
I'm sure the Giants would love to unload a guy

(24:34):
like that. It's more realistic that they could possibly trade
a guy.

Speaker 8 (24:37):
Like Willia Domis.

Speaker 5 (24:39):
But Lindor with the Mets, I mean, it's one of
the worst kept secrets that him and Juan Soto haven't meshed.
So yeah, those names, I'm sure some of those teams
would love to unload. But what's the reality of that happening.
I'm not sure it's very high.

Speaker 3 (24:56):
David Vasse with San Diego and Rope Sisaki and uh,
what's the guy's name? Luffy from One Piece with the
hat and the card and Andre Ethier blowing up his
phone asking for the card one a night. It's going
to be at Dodger Stadium.

Speaker 8 (25:14):
Have a great It wasn't Ethier. It was not Ethier.

Speaker 4 (25:18):
Schumacher, Skip, leave him alone?

Speaker 3 (25:20):
For God's sakes, is it Schumacher? Les Matt said, A
j ellis.

Speaker 8 (25:26):
He's got his hands full with the Rangers.

Speaker 3 (25:28):
DC Blake, Oh day.

Speaker 5 (25:33):
Oh, next time we talk, we got to talk about
classic Victor break emails during the last road trip that
I have to share with you.

Speaker 3 (25:41):
All Right, well, we'll get those live reading of those.
We'll be right back with more great sports talkers. We're
just getting started here on AMPI seventy LA Sports, your
home of the Dodgers. Dodgers Tonight, USA Monday, a weekend
of baseball and American celebration right here on AMPI seventy LA.

Speaker 1 (25:59):
Sports, Southern California's most listened to sports talk show.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
This is Petro Send Money on demand.

Speaker 4 (26:16):
Dodgers padres coming up tonight to Roki Sasaki on the Mountain.
It's one Piece night. Can't say it enough. Fifty two
thousand straw hats, fifty two thousand and one piece cards,
do not freak out three and a half hours ahead
of first pitch, that you're not gonna get your super
cool card or your hat. If you're running late, you're
totally fine, but there might.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
Be a chance that you might not get it. So
freak out, man, quick break out. Let that anxiety seep
through you, push you all the way through the traffic. Well,
happy uh crunching group, Thursday, It is time for some

(27:00):
some reactions.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
Fine, brought to you by your so called Toyota dealers.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
We make it easy and hopefully Kate's avoids the talkback thing.
All right, here we go.

Speaker 4 (27:12):
Oh you're asking for it.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
No, I wasn't.

Speaker 4 (27:16):
Man.

Speaker 3 (27:17):
You both really punched Fred and the Wiener today. It's
borderline elder abuse and I'm here for it. Well, I mean,
I think Ronnie is the one that's really is disgusting,
he said, the happier weldy drug.

Speaker 4 (27:37):
Shopping for cougars.

Speaker 3 (27:40):
He didn't care. Can you okay, this is fair and
I'm sorry about this. Can you explain what the f
A one piece is? All right? We're not all dodger
d heads like you guys.

Speaker 4 (27:55):
What the f is?

Speaker 3 (27:56):
A one piece?

Speaker 8 (27:59):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (28:00):
One piece is a cartoon. It's an anime show that's
been on for over twenty five years. I think One
Piece is like a you know, it's like a show
with a guy with a hat and they're in the ocean.
It's like water World, and it's very popular. And their
last one Piece night they did there was a card
and it's sold. I mean, Ronnie's son retired at twenty

(28:23):
eight or something. And am I wrong?

Speaker 4 (28:25):
Think of it as like as doge coin. You know,
you somehow stepped an s you got in, you sold,
and now you're driving a Bugatti and have three houses,
you know, one in Monaco, and it's amazing.

Speaker 3 (28:42):
All you have to do is have Dodger tickets you
know which do cost money? Sure, and then you just
show up to the door and they hand you the
card in the hat. It changes your whole life exactly right.
Next thing, you know, you're on a yacht with Kim
Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton.

Speaker 4 (29:00):
All right, Hamilton, how.

Speaker 3 (29:03):
Many points would a member of the spur Posse of
the nineties earn? Nope, not reading that one. But I
do remember the spur Posse. You remember the spur Posse.

Speaker 4 (29:15):
Man, Yeah, we've talked about them. It's been a while
since they've come up.

Speaker 3 (29:19):
We played against Lakewood when I was in high school,
that was a big topic, you know, during the game
and all the way during camp. You know, it's like,
you know, like for the first game, you spend you know,
three weeks of camp thinking about that opponent for the
first game, right, and the coaches would be like, that's right,
those spur posse doesn't coming.

Speaker 4 (29:39):
For coming for you now.

Speaker 3 (29:42):
The spur posse from Sally Jesse, Raphael what a show.
I had a coworker that we called OJ because he
got away with murder and his and when his work
got dumped on you, we called it getting juiced. Well, Fred,
it is like OJ in that way, right, he dumps

(30:03):
a lot of work on everybody.

Speaker 4 (30:04):
I think that's fair.

Speaker 3 (30:06):
F Fred, keep it going. That rat bastard needs to
be taught a lesson, But you can't teach him a
lesson if he doesn't care and he's at the nest.
Ronnie makes a very solid point there, you know. Oh. Also,
somebody doing a read for Shaky's on our station refers

(30:26):
to the Mojo potatoes that we all know from Shaky's
as Moho potatoes like their flow hos. Yes, And that
is unfortunate and I'm tired of fielding texts about it.

Speaker 4 (30:39):
It's not ours. Yeah, we know it's Mojo's, but hey,
moho get mohos when you go to Shaky's. You know
it can work either way, man, I.

Speaker 3 (30:52):
Mean that stinks of ai. AI would read moho potatoes.

Speaker 7 (30:56):
Now we're guaranteed human here at iHeart that is actual
voice Petros.

Speaker 3 (30:59):
All right, well, how do they not know mojo potatoes?
I mean, isn't that like a pretty standard deal.

Speaker 7 (31:05):
I'm sure it's been rumped the flagpole and told to
these people, but maybe it hasn't.

Speaker 4 (31:09):
Who knows.

Speaker 6 (31:11):
I kind of feel like this is the last the
same spot that was run last year, because last year,
doing the Shaky's campaign, it also said moho potatoes.

Speaker 3 (31:20):
Oh no, do you think maybe that's what Shakey's is
trying to do to be a little more exotic in
twenty twenty six.

Speaker 6 (31:27):
I mean it is the World Cup, right, I mean,
I don't know mojos Mojo's.

Speaker 3 (31:31):
This says one piece? Why is Kate so boned up
over a swimsuit for a plump or the expecting women?

Speaker 4 (31:39):
I did think it was a one piece babying suit
last year, that is.

Speaker 3 (31:41):
Last year you did. But now Kate's You're the pied piper.
You are Paul Revere. You are the voice in the wilderness,
like William Blake crying out and saying one piece night
is coming. Act accordingly. And it doesn't feel like people
heeded your warning. Or maybe they did, because Dodger Stadium

(32:02):
is chaos right now, chaos. Not to mention the Spanish
World Cup traffic which is going on. We're gonna have
Eric Ginold in a moment. He's in it, and he's
gonna tell us about the ballan gone, ballan goon flow
ride up, Ballan goon red card and whether it was

(32:27):
just or not.

Speaker 4 (32:28):
He was at the Spain game at La Stadium just
a couple of hours and holding of that. They put
it on Austria.

Speaker 3 (32:37):
We'll talk about what kind of opponent Belgium is. You
know who knows about that stuff. Eric Guinaldo, the Flying Dutchman.
No wall sitting or fence sitting. We'll be right back
on the Petrosen Money Show on am FI seventy l
