Speaker 1 (00:01):
On air at AM five seventy LA Sports and I'm
demand on the iHeart Radio app.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
This is the Petros and Money Show. You are one
of the kind hosted by Petros Papaday guests left school
after sixth grade. Look at him and the voice of
the Bolts, Matt money Smith. The answer is money. There
is nothing you can do. You know it's coming.
Speaker 3 (00:23):
This is the Petros and Money Show on the home
of your world champion, Los Angeles Dodgers.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
Make us your top preset on the iHeartRadio app. If
you aren't rich, you should always look useful. Gone to
use that tru some money.
Speaker 4 (00:40):
I am five seventy ELI Sports Live everywhere on the
iHeartRadio app. We got Prebay series at Dodger Stadium starting tonight,
Gallpingford Broadcast Booth at seven to ten pm. Rokie Sasaki
on the mound against Reed Debt Meers. We'll have Dodgers
on deck at six. David Vassi will join us in
the five o'clock hour, and between now and then, we
got quite the show, kind of starting with the opening segment.
Speaker 2 (01:00):
Pe. We got a lot going on, Matt, but we
do I want to I just have to acknowledge this
how grossly, grossly unprofessional it is to go take a
five minute commercial break and then do a twenty second
segment and then leave again lead a gigantic chunk of commercials.
(01:22):
And I just got a text do so from the
two five six that said, wow.
Speaker 5 (01:26):
Secret texts fine, brought to you by your so called
Toyota dealers. We make it easy.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
That was a lot of commercials, and I wrote, that's fred.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
Yeah, and they have an interview in the prior segment
that it is stretched that they milked for twenty five minutes,
so that would happen.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
Ned Kaletti is at one of those IV places right
now replenishing, but I'm not sure which hour he contributed.
Speaker 4 (01:49):
Yeah, but for a week and yeah, so what he'll
do is they'll stretch wiki to like forty five and
just basically the follow up question is what else? And
then they let him talk and then when he's done
talking there and then I.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
Hate to start with this negativity, Matt, to galvanize ourselves.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
Our leading is nine minutes of twelve minutes of commercials.
That's the leading they give us.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
It is grossly it is grossly irresponsible, and I know
it upsets Ronnie Fossio. I know it upsets Ronnie because
he does deserve better.
Speaker 4 (02:23):
Spain.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
All right, it's a Frogman Friday, everybody, Yeah, how stilled,
how strange trement? Still frog man the water is today?
Not a Frogman Friday. The Petrols and Money Show appreciates you. Frogmen.
(02:47):
If you were in the water for as long as
Friend takes commercial breaks with no content, you die of hypothermia,
loose feeling in your limb. And we respect the Navy
and the Coast Guard, and the Harbor Patrol and the
POLICEA and we respect the Great Mike Nelson, an ancient
(03:12):
character now played by the one and only Lloyd Bridges,
as a great undersea mercenary and a great time of
undersea exploration and photography in the Great Show.
Speaker 6 (03:25):
I knew the voice, but I'd almost forgotten the face.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
It's Great.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
Norris, a juvenile delinquent who straightened out a year ago.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
I had helped with a straight name. He had been
around for a month. I'll come today, Ah, goog what
I mean? Min? It's like, it's like great to see
shame here? How's everything? How's the mare?
Speaker 4 (03:46):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (03:46):
No sweat? No sweat?
Speaker 4 (03:47):
Hey?
Speaker 2 (03:48):
Why I made the scene is you're burning into a
over right now. You're gonna have to play it over
again for what crazy You're flying to Hawaii tomorrow? Right?
Oh yeah, ah, todd lights on, Yeah, what are you nuts?
(04:09):
We still got to take that Florida man. You know
what that's like these days?
Speaker 3 (04:13):
You got the Navy everywhere, you got frogmen, you got
the e C two's with the satellite tracking, you got
the Bell two nine as salt choppers up the ass.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
We're losing one out of every nine loads. That's no
duck walk anymore. Let me tell you, forget about money.
What do you suggest that's reasonable? Well, the Sea lab
from Vita Rule is probably driving in right now for
the Big Freeway series. Maybe they could have used O
(05:03):
Toddie's bat last night shirt. What happened to Tator's don
loyal Climb will Climb? Oh my god? What about Munsiwyer?
(05:26):
You know last night Tim Kates was like, what, what's
the name of the Zuckerberg? That guy one of those
things that guy gets on Matt where it looks like
you're skateboarding across the ocean, but it comes out foil. Yeah,
it looks like you're riding on a penis when it
comes out of the water. That guy Zuckerberg, you know,
he gets all zinc it up and he does that
in the lakes and Washington and stuff. And that's what
(05:48):
Tim Kates was like last night, skating along a pristine
still water, uh and moving along. The game was flying,
everything was going great. He had off night or excuse me, uh,
travel night, Dodger Talk and and Dodger Clubhouse. And then
the thing came to an absolute dead, screeching halt. And
(06:11):
next thing you know, he's defending Tanner Scott on the
with the Dodger Talk calls. He's fighting, maybe trying to
point vitriol toward Will Klein. You know, he's he's defending
Max Munsey's on base violence. I mean, he's really wearing it.
And it was the best of times when the day
(06:32):
started with calling yee and then things turned really dark
late in the evening.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
Another outing from just a dominant outing from our dear
friend Justin Robleski that he could have hung his hat
on and the centerpiece of the show.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
It's hard to, you know, because sometimes sometimes the calls
dictate the content and if they want, if they want
the head of Alfredo Garcia in the form of Tanner Scott.
Then Tim Kats has got to give them barabbas at
eight sixty six nine eight seven two seventy, Tim, am,
I am I characterizing this? Yes? Am I characterizing this correct?
Speaker 6 (07:07):
Well, there was a couple of people last night that
really warred on postgame Dodger talk, and everybody wanted to
point the finger at Tanner Scott, and I stood in
front of him like a shield and just defended those
bullets from Tanner and I said, let's look at Will
Klein and what he didn't do in the eighth inning.
How about a solo home run to Corbyn Carrol. How
about then a walk on five pitches to the next batter? Moreno,
(07:28):
then two batters later a single. You put yourself in
trouble in the eighth inning. That's not Tanner Scott's fault. Now,
Tanner Scott takes a little bit of a blame. But
then you take it back even further. Guys, last night
and people are really getting after a certain Dodger right now,
You'll never guess who they're getting after.
Speaker 4 (07:46):
They're getting after a certain Dodger or not Scott, not
Tanner Scott.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
You and I are in bed. You know at this
point when when Tim Kats like a nighthawk, is dealing
with the angry fan, right like moonlighting with Bruce Willis.
So that's sound show.
Speaker 6 (08:02):
You guys are texting with Conway about the guy the
incredible halt that was on a show that was Egilbert
Humber Dame what I'll tell you last night? Okay, all right,
there's a certain dodger who is not pulling his weight
right now, Kyle Tucker. There's another dodger who is not
(08:26):
pulling his weight right now.
Speaker 4 (08:28):
Mookie Bets. Mookie bets, oh for what?
Speaker 2 (08:31):
Oh for five?
Speaker 4 (08:32):
Oh for four?
Speaker 6 (08:32):
Last night? He had one hit the night before. He's
now batting a buck eighty three on the season. Hello,
Mookie Bets. And everybody wants him to drop in the order.
One caller even said drop him to ninth so he
can hit in front of Otani and Otani can protect him.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
Kate's his head hit the bed in a very violent,
defeated way last night. After that dude, he thought it
was all good. He was on the hydrofoil or whatever,
the fly dolphin and then then Foyle sorry and he
and then he was just stranded in the middle of
the sea and him and Colin Yee had a long,
(09:11):
arduous night. David Vasse's back tonight for Dodger talking Dodger Clubhouse.
The Dodgers are taking on the Angels.
Speaker 4 (09:18):
Now, I should be just important though, p before though, right,
I mean, I do want to say this about Tim
because he still has he still has that text loaded
in his drafts and ready to fire off to Trent
about how rough things are down there and maybe you
could share.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
To Trent Rush. Yeah. Now, the Angels. The guy that
took Patty O'Neill's job is Trent Rush. And he's long
been with the Angels, and he's the concierg of the lodge,
and he does some work at FS one and Fox
with me in college football, and he does some college basketball.
He's a great guy. I've traveled around with him a
little bit. We talk about the concierge often. He's a
(10:00):
unique fellow and Tim. It feels bad for Trent Rush
because obviously Trent Rush has to carry the load for ARTI,
and we know that Arti is farty.
Speaker 4 (10:11):
Yeah, doing a postgame is one thing. Trying to do
a post game when all people want to talk about
is how the owner sucks and needs to sell the
team when that same owner owns the station on which
you're broadcasting. Now, Tanner Scott doesn't own the station on
which Tim was broadcasting, but certainly, considering the events of
last week, following the blown save against the Phillies, some
(10:31):
terrible things have happened.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
Sts have been made, things have been said.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
Things have been said, and Tim's got to navigate those
very carefully. So how were you able to thread that
needle while acknowledging that you know Tanner, like last year,
served up quite the tater in that ninth inning that
Katel Marte took downtown for the walk off win versus
while also being sensitive to the subject.
Speaker 6 (10:53):
I said, the blame needs to be shared. I said,
this is not all on Tanner Scott. Obviously, that first
pitch to fastball inside part of the plate is not ideal.
You got to make a better pitch than that. But
I said, let's pull it back a little bit the
scope of this loss from the Dodgers in Arizona. And
that said, Will Klein's got to take more than blame
for his inability to get out. So you're supposed to
(11:14):
come in a two nothing game as a high leverage reliever,
if it's not a nine to nothing blowout and some
guy named Hernandez is out there pitching for the Dodgers
or some dude we're never going to see before again.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
Hernandez pretty good.
Speaker 6 (11:26):
Man, He's turned into a pretty good reliever in the
last couple of times. But the point is this is
a high leverage reliever. Now, Will Klein in that red Beard,
you gotta be better than that home run walked single
two batters later, putting Alex Vessi in a tough position.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
Of knives out.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
How about the offense last night, Matt?
Speaker 6 (11:41):
The top four hitters were one for sixteen, the top
three hitters were zero for twelve.
Speaker 4 (11:48):
The offense don't right?
Speaker 2 (11:50):
You know what?
Speaker 4 (11:50):
And I'm glad you said that, Kates, because I'd like
to point this out again.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
You that resentment. Matt though that because his night was
was elongated and he couldn't get to Don Kuco's or
the Apoyo Loco drive through.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
I got your back, Tanner, he wants to step back. I'll
take this right now, Okay, go on, Who's back you
gotta get because no one else is getting it. Justin Robleski,
Why aren't we pointing out that that guy got no
run support? And I've all got screwing out that white
guy not getting any run support, and it's not acknowledged
nearly as much as it should be when it's acknowledged
for some other pictures on the Dodgers when they don't
get their run support. This guy needs wins. He's going
(12:24):
to arbitration. He needs to get the amount of money
he deserves. And if he doesn't have those wins on
that column, he's not gonna get it.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Some of us wake up in the morning and they say,
you know what I'm gonna put in. I'm gonna I'm
gonna put some in for the white man.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
Right justin Robleski.
Speaker 6 (12:37):
He should be eight and two right now, rob should
be one start closer to going to Philadelphia in the
All Star Games.
Speaker 4 (12:44):
He shouldn't be eight and two. He should be nine
and two. Damn two weeks ago.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
But you know what he should be twenty and two?
F you both. Yeah, really I like him even more,
Like he's even been cooler to me.
Speaker 4 (12:55):
It's only wait, he gets double the wind.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
Yeah, he started two weeks, started ten games. He should
get two wins every time he goes out there because
he's so great.
Speaker 4 (13:04):
He uh, he got absolutely hosed and he deserves better.
And that's that's that. That was the great travesty of
last night. That was It's inexcusable that Yamamoto gets all
the attention about being the pitcher that gets no run
support when this guy's going to pre arbitration next year
and it could be millions of dollars we're talking about,
(13:26):
and these wins not being on his ledger are gonna
cost him hundreds of thousands of bucks.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
And that bothers us. But I'll say what I'll say this, Matt.
It was not the biggest travesty of last night. Was
not even close to the biggest travesty last night. You're
talking about something that's gonna happen in a year. The
biggest travesty last night corrections and retractions. Obviously corrections and retractions.
It is Tim Kats missing freaking Don Google's schooner Margarita
(13:56):
because the games skidded to a halt. He was sailing
this game.
Speaker 6 (14:00):
It was low level flying like Christopher Cross. He was sailing,
freaking calling Jaster, He's like, man, this game we had
a three hour game, he said in our game less,
so this is this is two hours. This is two
hour game, Kates. I'm like, yeah, let's go and we're
gonna fly through this post game. Hector's got a margarita
sitting for me.
Speaker 4 (14:20):
You put some ice in the he a little bit
extra eyes. I'm running a little bit late.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
Yeah, Hector, you got ice. That thing down, no problem,
senior team, are you coming?
Speaker 4 (14:30):
We're closing.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
Many of the people in the kitchen are getting restless.
Speaker 4 (14:33):
I will leave your drink on the doorstep. You can
pick it up on your waist.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
A rough night, no doubt for the Dodgers, and who
had to wear it in the chest while the assay
was on the plane. That's right, Tim Kates.
Speaker 4 (14:46):
They were gifted that game last night. I mean, Cormy Carroll's.
Speaker 6 (14:49):
A circus and right field over ran a ball somehow,
Ryan Ward double there's a one nothing leading and Dalton
rushing you know, throws one in the left center field
like a nine wedge there.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
It's been a week of previously we lose. In a
week we got Blake Smell hanging out with the card father.
Speaker 4 (15:05):
Oh, hold on, he's not hanging out with the card
Father pH David Vassy just posted this great update Blake
Snell is playing catch today. Yeah great, Oh, how exciting.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
But that was a grievance though, Matt, that Blake Snell
was hanging out with the card Father or right, it's
a grievance that Kate's got screwed out of his schooner
of of Margarita syrup.
Speaker 4 (15:30):
It's uh, it's a grievance that they just did twelve
minutes of commercials in sixty seconds of content.
Speaker 2 (15:35):
That started us out on a negative foot.
Speaker 4 (15:37):
That happens every day, you guys, You just don't hear it. Yeah,
it literally happens five days a week.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
I got a text from an angry listener like, why
did I have to just hear that many commercials? Where's
the sports talking? I was like, it's because of frat
great sports talk, it's because of Fred.
Speaker 4 (15:54):
Man has no dignity, you.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
Know who's dignified us. And that's why that's why we
give you like we give you like a two week
head start, because we are once again embarking and this
is what everybody's been waiting for today, embarking on one
another Petros and Monday Summer Tour. This is year, believe
(16:22):
it or not, thirteen Bat and I are going out
to meet the people with music, rises, guests, the community
of great sports, talk, camaraderie, usually bar food, actually always
(16:48):
bar food. Friday June nineteen, we make our return triumphantly
to the Ie to September's tat Room and Eatery and
Rancho Coop September's Tap Room and Eatery once again. Twenty
(17:09):
sixty three to twenty one, Haven have right off to
two ten. I might take it all the way to
Redlands after the show. Matt is going to be a
great time. We had a great time last time, and
we will develop this show and make it special as well.
Speaker 4 (17:27):
That's why we're going back.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
We're going back because it was such an enormous success
and so much fun to be at that place. The food,
the drinks, the service, the people, prizes, everything came together
that day in Rancho Coop for us, right down the
street from Chap and the Chafed Up Kids. And this
year we're even bringing more, more prizes to every event
(17:54):
and more excitement.
Speaker 4 (17:56):
Still some things getting work done in person, guests, live music,
but the prizes, the prizes have been started. We have
begun to amass our prizes, Dodger tickets, Dodger merchandise. Our
friend Henrik from Barbecues Galoories back in on the summer tour,
so we not only have two hundred fifty dollars Barbecue
(18:16):
Gloor gift card, but we also have the very popular
cap and cookup and plus that will be given away
on site from Barbecue Galore. And as he has been
I believe for darn near every one of our thirteen years,
Brett from Westinghouse is bringing the TV. Someone's gonna walk
out of that joint with a fifty five inch television
(18:37):
on June nineteenth, as that will be given away on
site as well. And I'm sure we will continue to
add to those list of prizes and we will continue
to keep the updated on in person guests. Last year
it was Joe Kelly Joe Kelly Mariachi band, so we
had the live music, we had the in person guests.
We intend to do the same thing this year, but
(18:59):
set your schedules now. It'll be a three to six
show going into Dodger Baseball Friday, June nineteenth, two weeks
from today. September's tap Room and Eaterrie and Rancho Cucamonga.
Are we allowed to talk about the frequency of the
summer tours this year to kind of sure?
Speaker 2 (19:16):
So make sure Matt do your thing, brother.
Speaker 4 (19:18):
We're we're looking to blow it out a little bit
bigger at each event and do fewer events.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
More prizes.
Speaker 4 (19:25):
Fewer events, yeah, more prizes, more in person guests, live
music at every show. We want to make it more
of a party, like a true summer tour stop like
we have at Vans when we close this whole thing
out with the live band, with all the prizes. We
want to make each one of these very similar to
that last one where we're really loaded up for you.
(19:47):
So if this one's just anywhere near where you might be,
know that we're not going to be doing six this year.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
I mean, we do get out a bit all year round, yeah,
but as far as the summer tour goes.
Speaker 4 (19:58):
We wanted these to be big blow parties, like.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
Big prizes and if if anybody plays the fiddle or
knows like a local Americana outfit in the ie. I
know the Sons of the Pioneers are dead and gone,
but you know, maybe that style of band I would
appreciate somebody's singing, rolling along with the tumbling dumbleweeds. Thanks
to our sponsors. By the way, you'll see about four
(20:21):
hundred billboards if you drive out to Rancho Kook from
the coast, Sweet James. If you're hurting a car, truck
or motorcycle accident, called Sweet Jain at eight hundred and
nine million or sweet Jains dot Com. With an office
in La your Toyota dealers, we make it easy. They're
everywhere you need to be in Soco. So of course
they'd be at the Petroson Money Summer Tour. I mean,
(20:43):
that's a cultural moment, right, and that's what people want
to know.
Speaker 4 (20:47):
What if we get Caius to get back together and.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
Play well, you know, Matt, I mean that's what I'm saying,
Like these pipe dreams don't help us actually plan the show.
You know, we've spent a lot of time out here,
you know, get yeah, yeah, I know you're thinking out
loud and you do a lot of that. But I
gotta be honest. I gotta be honest, Matt. I mean,
how long have we been spinning our wheels, wasting our
time with people like Jackson Brown, who's never coming on
(21:12):
the show when we go to Fullerton just because he
went to Sunny Hills High and nothing comes of it,
where we should be concentrating on something that's attainable, like
the Fiddler from JD in a straight.
Speaker 4 (21:26):
Shot, like a fiddler and a bluegrass and Riverside County.
I'm sure there's plenty of them. For all the bluegrass
functions out there.
Speaker 2 (21:37):
There's gotta be Matt That the Sons of the Pioneers,
or riding Apple Valley that's where they all retired. There's
gotta be something. Blue Eyes Vodka the next best thing
to Blue Heaven on Earth. Blue Ice Vodka also sponsor.
I don't know Kate's I mean, you're the one that
has to deal with a lot of this. What are
(21:58):
your thoughts? Oh wow, he's not happy.
Speaker 6 (22:03):
Looking forward to it. Two fridays from today, Septembers.
Speaker 2 (22:09):
I'm not thinking about it.
Speaker 6 (22:10):
Well, i'll tell you what that day, Team USA is
playing at noon at the stadium formerly known as SOFI
not known during the World Cup as so far, but
they'll be playing that day at noon, so that game
will be getting over. So we'll be like a World
Cup postgame party at Septembers.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
For either US or Paraguay.
Speaker 4 (22:31):
It's the second game. So whoever Team USA is playing.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
Is that? Uh?
Speaker 4 (22:37):
Is it Australia. That's Australia Autralia.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
There you go.
Speaker 4 (22:41):
Yeah, they play at noon on Friday, June nineteenth. All right,
look at that, so we can it'll be a petros
in money sandwich. You got the Team USA World Cup
match to start, you got our show, and then you'll
have Dodger game after. Pretty good, pretty good afternoon with
all those great prizes, a bluegrass band and Reggie and
Cheryl Miller.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
Riverside, why not let's go and get sister together, right,
mattl usc. We might be able to get Daryl and
Sammy Knight from Riverside they used to play in SC.
I don't know we'll be able to get the Millers.
Speaker 4 (23:14):
Let's get a Kates. Let's plant the seeds now, let's
get the Millers out. I don't think celebrate Riverside County.
Speaker 2 (23:20):
I don't know, you know, I don't know if this
on air litigating of what we should do is helpful anymore. Matt.
Now that the shows are supposed to be big or stronger,
this is.
Speaker 4 (23:29):
What always happens though. This is when we end up
doing the planning part Like this is for whatever reason,
even though we've been talking for the last hour off
the air, for an hour and a half off the air,
this is like when for some reason the ideas get baked.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
I agree, but I also think that style of rollout
has led to some internal resentment.
Speaker 6 (23:51):
Sure, hello, well the Dodgers play that day. I believe
they're at home against the Baltimore Orioles. I don't know
what Oral Hershey, there's doing that day. Sometimes he's not
working series. I don't know if he's working that one
that Friday the nineteenth. But if he's not, I mean,
I know he's very popular right now out at the
Ontario Ie Air dealership out there.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
And we can promote the dealership.
Speaker 6 (24:14):
Our buzzers are playing the Quakes that night. It's a
big day in the nine oh nine nine one. Hey, Oral,
once't you come on over to the PMS tour stop?
Speaker 2 (24:21):
Huh? You know what, Matt, I stand corrected. You know,
you're right, the ideas, the ideas are baking.
Speaker 4 (24:27):
He could be working, though, who knows. He made one
of those.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
Games popped out of the toaster right.
Speaker 4 (24:30):
There, right, I got an idea, Okay.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
It could be a Jesse Mendoza weekend, you know.
Speaker 4 (24:35):
Could be could be an Eric Carros weekend. Since we're
spitballing and we're chasing. Now, we're chasing the Millers, we're
chasing oil herscheizer or I know, Blake Snell to do
freaking something.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
Huh.
Speaker 4 (24:47):
How about Blake Snell does something for the thirty five
million bucks he's making a year, and he comes out
and grins and grips with all the Dodger fans. Huh
while you're rehapping, how about that?
Speaker 2 (24:56):
Well, I wouldn't I doubt anybody's gonna drive anywhere if
you have that kind of attitude.
Speaker 4 (25:02):
Matt, I'm with you. Earn your keeper on here, Blake. Huh,
earn your keep Blake.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
Let's go the regulators. All of a sudden, mounted up
over there.
Speaker 4 (25:09):
Hey dog, nine nine dog. Let's come out the nine
to five to one dog.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
Now you're mocking his he bonics.
Speaker 6 (25:19):
I'll go to Burbank Sports Cards and buy some packs.
You can break them right there on the spot there, Blake.
Speaker 4 (25:23):
There you go. What else you're doing not pitching? Tell
you that not much? Not much?
Speaker 2 (25:30):
Well, you're breaking packs. We're breaking our backs, doing great
sports talk. How about some help Blake great sports talk.
Speaker 4 (25:36):
See, that's what we're doing.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
He's not coming.
Speaker 6 (25:40):
Actually, I'm gonna put the feelers out for Blake. Matt's right,
he ain't doing anything else.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
Put the feelers out, and you can put the feelers
out for the Millers. But I don't want just Cheryl now.
Speaker 4 (25:51):
We want to both. We want to celebrate. How about
their older brother high school, celebrate their university, celebrate their
professional careers, the Olympics, all those great things.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
We shall return with more great sports talk. We'll do
one of the headlines, because there are the headlines. Well,
we can get into it.
Speaker 4 (26:11):
Not a racist, at least, I hope you don't think
I am. Well, Justin Robleski deserves more run support, though
I'm not a.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
Ram and I support this pitch only because he's white.
Speaker 6 (26:25):
You know, Jessin Robleski's surpassed his innings total from last
year already and it's June the fifth.
Speaker 4 (26:31):
Do you know that Justin Robleski has pitched more innings
this year than Blake Snell has as a Dodger.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
Did you guys know that Justin Rableski is one of
the whitest guys, who's so white?
Speaker 4 (26:44):
There are of a darker shoe than me?
Speaker 2 (26:47):
Most are.
Speaker 4 (26:51):
You know what else is just as white as justin
Robleski Blake Snell.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
Hey, no, he's got flam out.
Speaker 6 (26:58):
That's a roight dog, just as white dog. He's never
coming now, Nope, wasn't coming before.
Speaker 2 (27:08):
We'll never know now. We'll be back with Mark Petroson
Money on five seventy LA Sports. Stay with us on
a Frogman Friday. This is petro Send money on.
Speaker 1 (27:27):
Demand, Demand, Demand Demand.
Speaker 4 (27:31):
David Masse will join us from the Dodger Stadium in
the five o'clock hour. Dodgers versus Angels coming up. Roki
Sasaki on the mound. Remember if you can't find your
way to the AM radio when you're out and about,
you can always listen to the Dodgers when you are
in the Greater LA area through the iHeartRadio app. Just
download the app, it's free, subscribe to the AM five
to seventy LA Sports channel, which is free, and then
(27:55):
listen to Dodger games, which is free.
Speaker 2 (27:58):
We also announced the Petrosen Money stop of the thirteenth
annual Summer Tour. It is Friday, June nineteenth. A lot
of people have that day off Juneteenth, that September's tap
room and Eatey and Rancho Kook. So come on out
three to six show. It's gonna pop off. Should be
(28:19):
a great time as our summer tour events often are.
All right, Matt, it is time. I'm dedicated to this.
For what are the headlines?
Speaker 4 (28:27):
What should the headline be?
Speaker 2 (28:28):
Today? Sports? That's all we think about.
Speaker 4 (28:30):
Here's the other story nobody's talking about.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
You know, I'm not a racist.
Speaker 4 (28:33):
I mean I hope you do.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
What's your reaction he's a bad headline? What are the headlines?
The headlines, Matt, the big headline and the big moment.
And it's all coming to a head. There's been a
wrestling match between the tabloids, Taylor Swift, Travis Kelsey. Wedding
news out today and then out again today as the
(28:57):
tabloids are starting to zero in getting in the bomb sites,
getting between the crosshairs where the wedding of the century
and when the wedding of the century will take place.
We now know, despite rumors of mid June in Rhode
Island for a cottage core style wedding or bunk, it's
(29:24):
gonna be in Midtown Manhattan on July third. Now today
TMZ said Midtown Manhattan, July third, and they said, we
don't know. It could be MSG, it could be Rockefeller Center,
it could be Radio City, it could be the NYC Biblioteca.
(29:46):
The assumptions were wild. And again, I am doing this
because I was harassed by drunk raider fans in Downey
when I was talking about Taylor Swift and her team
making personal calls for Save the Day instead of.
Speaker 4 (30:01):
Actually emailing, texting so they could be forwarded to news.
Speaker 2 (30:05):
Sources or sending like a real letters.
Speaker 4 (30:08):
And how is that news received?
Speaker 2 (30:10):
I took a savage public beating. You did that? I uh?
And the fact that I took a savage public beating
from drunks means that I am going to report every
single morsel of what they are calling the Tavis wedding.
Ever since that moment in Downey, A great show in Downie,
(30:31):
a great remote in Downie. We were blessed by Apollo
the mascot. I hope we can get at the UH
at the Rancho Kuck even at Septembers. I really hope
that we can get our friend from the tower buzzers,
which I believe is a giant pterodactyl.
Speaker 4 (30:51):
Or some buzzy busting.
Speaker 2 (30:53):
Jewet. I am all over this, Matt. And right when
TMZ put that article out, the New York Post said,
f you, buddy, and they said, it is at Madison
Square Garden July third.
Speaker 4 (31:12):
That's a weird place to have a wedding.
Speaker 2 (31:14):
Man, what are you talking about? Well, I was like, what,
it was my second venue out for my wedding. I
was gonna go.
Speaker 4 (31:22):
There, but you chose Greece instead.
Speaker 2 (31:24):
I chose to go to the Island of Rhodes. But
before that, Matt, we were dead set on MSG.
Speaker 4 (31:30):
It's just such a weird flex. I mean you named
a couple of great I mean the MoMA, the Library,
the Rockefeller Center, Radio City Musical, all beautiful ornate or
classic joints. Yeah, Saint Peter, Like, there's a million places
you could go now, Matt, MSG.
Speaker 2 (31:53):
M S G and there is more news. Bens and
Boone the pop singer. Yes, received an invite. He will
be there in midtown Manhattan at MSG on July third
for the wedding of the Century. Now we know when
(32:13):
it is, where it is, how it will happen.
Speaker 4 (32:16):
In Peters, Saint what Saint Patrick's is what I meant
sat there.
Speaker 2 (32:21):
It is, yeah, because he's a dirty Irish drunk right,
But not Miles Teller and his wife Kelly, Matt, they're out.
Speaker 4 (32:28):
Well I remember it was the wife right that had
the fallen out with Tama. Yeah, they're out, and now
Miles is like, you're killing me.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
They did get this thing. This is the wedding of
the century.
Speaker 4 (32:39):
If the I'm famous force getting punched in the face
right now.
Speaker 2 (32:42):
Now that is not true. Miles Teller's a big star.
Speaker 4 (32:44):
I need this baby.
Speaker 2 (32:45):
Matt. Apparently you didn't see the Top Gun movie. Okay,
the sequel. Yeah, he played Goose's son.
Speaker 4 (32:52):
I just remember you got punched right in the face,
man coming out of that bar.
Speaker 2 (32:55):
Who doesn't get punch in the face on Hawaii over
some kind of a wedding bill that wasn't paid anyway,
It's getting closer, Matt, TMZ and everybody wrestling over the
different details of the story. Raider fans screaming and yelling
drunk at a BJ's on a Friday. Everybody's got the
day and time and their sights. It is reaching a
(33:18):
fever pitch. So I don't know what your thoughts are
the Tavis wedding Midtown? It just you got a problem
with that, Matt, Do you think it's cheesy?
Speaker 6 (33:31):
You got the met you got, Mama, you got the
Google Heim, You've got you said it, Rockefeller Center, You've got.
Speaker 2 (33:38):
We're twenty two thousand.
Speaker 4 (33:40):
That's what it fits, right, You're not fighting that many people.
I mean I did that Saint John's Yukon game there
last year and it is old and beat to hell.
It's famous for basketball, it's not because now it's.
Speaker 2 (33:55):
Still famous for the wedding of the century. Okay, each
your heart out, die and Charles smell the hot dog
water at MSG Exactly, Yes, Kate.
Speaker 6 (34:08):
I think it's a fair question. You brought the hot
dog water. Will the concessions be open? And will they
have merch table set up?
Speaker 4 (34:15):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (34:15):
And will Oakley be he'll be banned? I heard oak
as an invite but he can't go now.
Speaker 6 (34:21):
Will t shirts be eighty dollars like they are in concerts?
I mean, what are we talking about here? Are program
is gonna be free? Are they gonna charge for a
program when you come in?
Speaker 4 (34:28):
Maybe that's what it is. She has such romantic memories
of playing live at MSG that that it's where she
wants to have her wedding. Yeah, but she set the
record at Staples Center. There's like a statue banner or something.
Speaker 2 (34:41):
Yeah, it's a shameful. So I just for the Raider
fans that yelled at me and Downey And if you
don't like that story, you can blame them, because I
am on this forever all because of you, Raider fans.
I don't even care about the Chiefs or Travis Kelcey
or anything. I hate Taylor Swift and her music, but
I will be covering this used.
Speaker 4 (35:01):
I always hear you singing that around the office.
Speaker 2 (35:03):
Well we have it, you know, all over the place.
Speaker 4 (35:06):
He doesn't.
Speaker 2 (35:07):
Yeah, you're right, I play okay, and I also sing
about cheerleaders and and uh like bleachers.
Speaker 4 (35:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (35:17):
The other news Matt very quickly is that Heather Locklear
is uh now saying that she is in the best
time of her life. She said on a podcast because
she is dating a former Petrosen Money Show in Person
guest o, Charlie Murphy. Charlie Murphy is pasted. Oh, Michael Bolten.
(35:45):
Michael Bolton has had some health issues and it's not
Michael Bolten oo. Kyle Gas, the guy from Today's d
with Jack Black, is not dating Heather Lockley.
Speaker 4 (36:01):
All right, all right, this might be it. I don't
want to say it, but we've arrived slash.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
Nice try but no, oh uh.
Speaker 4 (36:18):
Antonio'll be out of a gosa.
Speaker 2 (36:23):
Though known as a mohe diego.
Speaker 6 (36:26):

Speaker 2 (36:36):

the right area.
Speaker 4 (36:41):

You got anyone? I know it is You're never.
Speaker 2 (36:51):

Speaker 6 (36:53):

Speaker 2 (36:53):

Speaker 4 (36:57):

Speaker 2 (37:06):

I'm just like, when I tell this person I love him,
I'm really saying I love you God, because that's what happened.
It's from Godotians. Happy couple. How about that good look
in the couple?
Speaker 4 (37:26):
She looks great, he looks great, age appropriate, Deep V Capri.
I thought she was gonna drop the Charlie's thorn. I'm
so happy I'm single because I just had the most
amazing sex with a twenty three year old and it
was incredible.
Speaker 2 (37:45):
I feel incredible because I'm a loose actress hooker.
Speaker 4 (37:51):
If I got a Leo DiCaprio's gotta wear it when
he's talking about his ladies that are in the mid twenties,
and this one is being celebrated by the uh, the
the group and the huff Posts. Yeah, exactly. Both have
said it a bull. Isn't this great? Isn't this empowering?
(38:12):
I don't know, maybe, but if that's how you guys
want to operate, just maybe take it easy on Leo
then you know, full so moment though, right for both
of them.
Speaker 6 (38:20):
Yes, nineteen eighty three they were doing Playboy together a
shoot Lamas and Locklear.

but somebody somebody tweeted out I ran for governor at
California and all I got was this weird tortoise o zepic.
Speaker 4 (39:04):

Speaker 2 (39:06):
Okay, thank you for everybody's contribution. Matt, thank you for
guessing and playing along with the who is Heather lockleyer
now in a relationship with and uh thank you for
disparaging Midtown Manhattan, which is a place that's brought a
lot of joy to a lot of people over the years.
Speaker 4 (39:27):
Uh yeah, one point nine one point three percent, Tony
b Lar seven, Katie Porter and Herty got to sixty
k She got four and a half percent. Stier, who
I believe spent two hundred and eighty million bucks of.
Speaker 2 (39:42):
His is a butt butt rubbin with Ludacris.
Speaker 4 (39:46):
