com with an office in La your Toyota dealers. We
beg it easy, and I'll bet you, Matt, that there's
going to be a heavy pore of our liquor sponsor, no.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Doubt about it. Our friends at Blue Eyes Vodka, there
was a heavy pour out front of September's tap room.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Yeah, that's right, just like the bars in Boston ran
out of bad beer for the Scotts.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Much like the Scotts, the Petros and money audience likes
to consume their alcohol. Blue Ice. Look, they came to
heavily armed and the people, well, I like to think
both parties delivered blue ice and our listeners showing what they're.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Great battle.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Try it the double espresso martini variety, the Huckleberry variety,
or the straight Blue Eyes Vodka, the cleanest water, the
finest American rusted potato.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Beautiful potatoes, Matt, round, beautiful potato.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
That's right. This is potato vodka. All right, It's not corn.
Potato vodka is what we're talking about here.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
On the Petros Mans vodka, vodka shaped like testicles, right.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Blue Ice vodka. We will be there from three to
six pm. Blue balls.

Oh, they got great food at the brewery.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Act drink the Brewery X Beers, the Slap and the Tickle,
the PMS Blonde. We will have live music to entertain you.
We will have prizes to give away. As you said,
be I.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Think the Petros and Money Blonde has been discontinued.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
But I said, I digres. You know, maybe they have
some of the labels left. They just slap it around something,
you know, Hey, slap it on that oatmeal stout. We'll
take it. I would have liked an oabill stout.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
All right, Matt, it's time for a follow up and
the word of the day. His words the word of
the day. Today's word of the day is embarrassed. Matt.
I did a cart dissertation, and I was remiss in
not mentioning the great Dodgers history. When it comes to
a bullpen golf cart, Are you ready?

Speaker 2 (04:53):
I am ready, I'm ready.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
The la Dodgers hold a pioneering place in baseball cart
history as the first air malb team to use a
motorized golf court to transport relief pitchers from the bullpen. Now,

(05:16):
in our defense, Matt, this happened before we were born.
Earlier teams experimented with standard automobiles or scooters, Matt way
back of the day in the fifties. But the Dodgers
actual golf cart that they modified a standard golf cart
made it lighter in the early sixties, laying the groundwork

(05:39):
for the famous baseball and cap shaped buggies that dominated
the seventies. They introduced the golf cart concept at Dodger
Stadium in nineteen sixty one. Wow, And unlike traditional cars
that were too heavy and could damage the well manicured
infield grass, just as Jay stew the lighter fiberglass golf

(06:02):
cart frame proved to be field safe. Now, this was
the thing they did at Dodger Stadium until there was
one rebel pitcher because they had the beautiful luxury transportation.
Even I mean, I would say, Sandy Kofax, anybody coming

(06:24):
out of that you know, bullpen to pitch right, was
happy to be in that cart, except for famous Dodger
relief pitcher Mike Marshall, who famously refused to ride the
vehicle and instead jogged alongside the moving cart.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
You drive, but I'm not getting in all the way
to the mound.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
And then it disappeared in the mid eighties because the relievers,
you know, they wanted to come out to their music
and look more intimidating and stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Now, now, where is that cart, Matt. I'm gonna go
with the Pets Automotive Museum. That's where it belongs.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
It's close, it's right, it's here at the club level
at Dodger Stadium. It is displayed. We walked right by
it like idiots on our way in to the stadium.
So it's here. You can still see it. And if
the Dodgers want to dust it off and start using
it again, because the currently Dubs.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Are using it, I got a real take a charge.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
They're using it, and I don't know they're using it
in uh in Detroit, They're using it in Arizona for
some reason, where there's a big heat advisory today even
though they have a dome.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
UH.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
There is a new era Dodger bullpen cart fitted.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Hat that you can buy.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Man, wow, man, break up. There is a enamel lapel
pin that you can buy that is of the golf cart.
Oh my god, there you are alight.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
He snuck up on you.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
You have to see your brother a little busy. It's
it's a it's Brad. It's black shirt, bread, hard tongue
out there taking his hard asked hung into the drinks.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Juko glazer.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
Oh we love a Juco glaz Damn right, Juco glaze. Hey,
we love what you've done.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
John Featherstone and up the great Brad Brad bad during
the dugout club.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
It's great to see him. Did you know about the
history with the golf cart?

Speaker 2 (08:16):
I did not know that, Brad.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Did you know that we walked golf cart in the hallway?
Know what they walked?

Speaker 2 (08:21):
Yeah, it's in the hallway.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
Yeah, the one in the club level. Did you know
that used to drive the players out to the field
in the sixties.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Sure, no, I didn't know that.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
I'm not from here, so I got no idea. I
am from here and I didn't know. So it's a
big story. But thank you for the meat a lota.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
I thought Brad was one of the white trash that
was pelting the White Sox players coming in from the
bullpen back in the day on their golf cart. Brad
would never do that. He already just said, he said, yeah,
we'd give him a shower. Boys, have fun.

Speaker 5 (08:48):
Thanks Brat. I wasn't aware you were here today. I
wasn't alerted, and I was watching a soccer game. And
then I put the radio on and I go, oh,
I gotta go. So I'm I'm a.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Little PreO different sweet too, and you found us and
there was tumbleweeds. We're very elusive today. You bless you,
Brad us, Thank you. And there is a little piece
of Dodger history, Matt. The original cart was.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
We walked by it every day.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
We walked by it every day and were completely oblivious
to it. Mike Marshall killed the cart. Not the Mike
Marshall that I think played. There's two Mike Marshalls. There
was the reliever Mike Marshall, and there was the Mike
Marshall that played first base, Moose Marshall. I could be
getting this wrong. And he dated Belinda Carlile, a pudgy

(09:37):
go gos uh Era Carlisle.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
Yeah, car lifts are sealed vacation fun.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
Correct, So all right at least I mean I probably
got that wrong too.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
What but there you go. We're not great on the
details on the Petro so true.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
We have a precious to details general concepts. That is
what we're looking at NFL offense. We have great attention
to detail. It is time for the number of the day.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
Here's my number out top number of Well speaking, what's up, Brad?

Speaker 5 (10:03):
I was going to say, the next time I come up,
I'd like to have a little discussion with p about
this alternate world Brad.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
He's been dealing with. Oh the other bartender, Brad. Yes,
have you seen him? He's over there. I'm guessing he's
the only other white guy. No, he's not white. Maybe
he's why this is a revelation.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
He's whiteish white's.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
He's not as white.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
As you are.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
But I heard I was listening to that whole day. I go,
these guys are cheating on me ten years and no, no, no, no,
no no, I just went first of all these guys,
just him.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
I just him.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
Well, that's the only buddy would not do that.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
Yeah, he would do it in a second, but I
didn't in this case.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Ay ay, I'm not allowed in the Dugout Club with
my media credential. I can't even get down there. They're
very very strict about man. And I was supposed to
go down there and wash some Toyota balls last year
during the playoffs. And I'm not saying I had a confrontation,
but it wasn't comfortable. Uh So first, next, your boy,
maybe I can strong boy, I don't. I wouldn't do that,
you know, I mean, you're working. I wouldn't do that.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
Serve and Maria, it would be his great pleasure.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
But so so A, I'm not even allowed down there.
And b I just walked over there and just wanted
to buy you know at that one bar that's at
the club, you know, right here by the offices. No
the others of that one. So you go through both
suite levels, by the cart, by the Vince Cully stuff
and by the key to the city and uh yeah,

(11:25):
and he's right there and his name is Brad. And
he said a lot of people think that they're talking
about me, and I have to tell him I'm not
that Brad.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
That's the Dugout Club, Brad.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
He wasn't. I have to say, he wasn't he didn't
have a churlish or defiant type of attitude. He was, yeah,
he was. He was extremely respectful, all right. I just
I was. I was a little taken aback. I was like,
my guys are fine. Look I had I had a
cousin at the USC when I was first there named

(11:55):
Pete Papadakis, and people were lying I met him at
that point, and and people at us he were like, hey,
you're in my econ class. And I was like, damn it, no,
I'm not. I can't even add. And they're like, they
said your name. And I said, oh my god, there's
a fake Petros on campus. F and chicks and get
me in trouble because.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
Scoring with all of my accoltes.

Speaker 3 (12:15):
Did happen that happened in my time at SC before
the Internet. You know, we had a fake Larry Parker,
the black receiver. We had a you know, the attorney, No,
the different, same name, different guy, This one was from Bakersfield.
We had a fake Larry Parker. We had a fake
Kenny Haslip.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
We had fake.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
Great play to get laid before the Internet, tell people
you're on the team. You have to wolfe, you have
to disappear when practice is going and stuff like that.
So I thought that's what the impostor Petros was doing.
I was like, oh my god, I've made it.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
He's looking up with these chicks, fake.

Speaker 3 (12:45):
Petros, who's hooking up with these Asian chicks and the
ECON class And you know what, I thought he was
a bad guy. And then eventually we came to know
each other and we're related and we've been friends and
cousins ever since. Then.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
You know, maybe you should go over.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
Yeah, tractors fallow down. He wasn't militia. He wasn't. He
wasn't like, hey, half that Brad downstairs. This is what
we got.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
He wasn't.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
It was not bartender set Tripp.

Speaker 5 (13:07):
He can't outrun the history, although he did make one
comment PMS No, there's no you can't out run what
do you say about d C.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Brad.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
We didn't say anything about Brad per se, but he
did say that his bar, whatever, whatever that bar he did,
he did say that his bar makes their own meat
a lot of mix and that's the only bar, you know,
matter what if I can you know, what can I say? Matt?

Speaker 2 (13:37):
You're just sharing facts. That's what I shouldn't say. Facts,
you're sharing statements. He's upset and he puts a lot
of thought and love into these meets, a lot of
of bars.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
I mean, I was here, I bought a meat, a
lot of from us.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
You could have let that last part go. He didn't
have to share.

Speaker 3 (13:52):
He said, they make their own mix, and they don't
do that downstairs on that dugout.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
That's what he said. It's like sing zang or something.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
I have no idea, but it sounded like fighting words.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
It's pretty good. Brats yeah, oh, Brat's meeches. Yeah, whatever,
whatever he's doing well, which brat uh DCT.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
Time for the number of the day.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Here's the number number of the day, the number of
the days too earlier today breaking news, kevon Looney coming
back to La former u C l A Bruin, one
of our all time favorites is going to be signing
with the Lakers. So kevon Looney's coming back.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
A favorite word absolutely, which means I love that guy.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
Maybe they need to create a roster spot.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
Pod and you're not no doubt.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
That's how you win a title.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
They can't add one more white guy. That's I mean,
forget it.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
Well, it depends which white guy number the day though, PS. Two,
because hey, maybe you got to make a little bit
of room for Kevon Looney, who's certainly going to be
your backup big After trading DeAndre Ayton to the Washington
Wizards and in reading the scuttle butt and listening to
the hot takers, old no neck, Brian Windhorse said, and

(15:06):
we trust we trust no neck compared to Mark Spears,
who gave us terrible information like three weeks ago about
Lebron coming back to the Lake.

Speaker 3 (15:12):
Mark Spears is one of the most disreputable reporters in
the history of basketball.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
Anything he says take the opposite.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
He's just a stylist and a mouth, that's all he is.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
But what Windhorse was saying is that Cleveland's in the lead,
much like you were with the loose Cannons for a
window of time.

Speaker 3 (15:29):
You're in the lead, Peedros, you get the job.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
That he says. All signs are pointing toward the Calves
being the spot where Lebron James will sign and play
his basketball next year. And they have not one, but
they have in an effort to court.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
They've set a seat at the table for Jesus.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
Set for They've They've got a table for two.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
Do you ever see that movie A History of Violence,
where you know they knew the seat for Jesus Eagle
Morton was a bad guy, but you know he was
their dad, and they're like, hey, here's this at the table, Dad,
That's what they've left for lebron.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
And Bronnie exactly right. Not one two roster spots package deal.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
Hey dad, but I was told by Alan Sleewa that
you know, the Lakers needed Bronni for his excitement and
his youth.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
Just imagine Bronnie like, I think I'd kind of like
to stay here. I'm a pretty good golfer. We belong
to Mountain Gate. I'm having fun out here with my pals.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
So you're from Akron, there's a museum.

Speaker 2 (16:25):
I'm on the Lakers, not the Calves. And he wouldn't
be if it wasn't for your dad. You're only going
to be playing one more year. I'm sure they're gonna
cut me loose after that, So I just as soon
ride out this two point three million dollar option they
picked up in LA and maybe I can just kind
of have a good time.

Speaker 5 (16:40):
Dad.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
I'll make I'll make another family reference. Mat cut me
some slack airpops now now Bronni, for all accounts that
we've heard, is not that bad of a kid or
a bad kid.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
It's like a very nice young man. Seems like he's okay.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
I mean, you would you would expect him to be
super entitled, and he probably is. But he's not a nightmare,
so nobody attacks him or anything like that. However, I
am a nightmare. And I remember my older brother much,
very lebron like in high school, very swollen, very popular,
a big recruit. I really did live under the shadow
of his bicep, and while he was around, nobody tried

(17:14):
to beat me up. Nobody attacked me, Nobody stepped to
me because they were scared of Tosso Patty Nakas when he.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
Left to go play college football.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
Immediately I was attacked from like on all sides, like
Germany and World War Two. I was fighting the Russians
in the East. I was it was I gotten fights.
People attacked me because I realized people hate me, and
now that Tosso's not here to protect me, I'm going down.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
That's where I'm going.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
I had to fight for my I had to fight
for my place in society.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
And I think they really, I don't think that Lebron's
gone and they're gonna be like, that's it, We're gonna
freaking clown this idiot like he's not.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
Maybe he's not gonna be treated in the same way
I certainly wasn't.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
Well, they got to see it for him, and he's
probably going because Daddy wants to bring him with him.
I need to play with my son. You need to
celebrate the.

Speaker 3 (18:05):
Lakers want to keep him or care to keep him.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
No, but again, to put asses in the seats Agua Caliente,
I could see that you'll put some Broni asses in
the seats at the Agua Caliente or whatever. What is
the Akrosher the Akroscher Stadium.

Speaker 3 (18:21):
What's the balance between being a real uh like a
real G League team that you're trying to actually use
to feed your NBA team or having a guy who's
a draw at the Akrosser fair.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
I mean, Nick Mazilla does such a bang up job.
Rob Polinka wouldn't even have a job anymore if it
wasn't for Nick, and he won't soon. That's true. Yeah,
I'm guessing that's a pretty You got eleven thousand seats
and you've got two hundred people there. That's a bad look.

Speaker 3 (18:51):
But you know what I'm saying exactly what you're saying
now that now that Lebron has gone, let's use this
opportunity to f with his kid.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
No best seed. It's table in Cleveland, So maybe that's
where he's gonna go. You know, it's not one, it's two.
We got two roster spots open Lebron, no other team courting.
You can say that it's gonna be you. We'll trade.
How old is Brownie? Like twenty two? Twenty three? So
he was he's probably twenty one maybe so he was
like because he was only at USC for a.

Speaker 3 (19:19):
Year thirteen when he left Cleveland.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
Yeah, that sounds about right. It's gonna be a great
homecoming you They're gonna roll out the red carpet. You
think Bronnie really wants He is twenty one years old.
He'll be twenty two in October.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
Do I think Bronnie wants to leave La to go
to No? No, No, I don't, Matt, But I don't know.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
It's the part of his own life, Okay, I don't know.
It's hard. Let your son be his own man. He's
twenty one years old. For God's sake, he doesn't need
you to freaking drag him along on your stupid basketball
dream anymore.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
Elias from Argentina agrees with me, right, I think Elias
agrees from my party.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
Let Bronnie party. Let Bronnie hang out with some chicks.
Man go on the road and do his own thing
without his old man.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
But he would not have been on the Lakers in
the first place anyway, he wouldn't have. Like the train
of Bronni being his own man left the station many
years ago.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
It's an opportunity for JJ to make good on those
proclamations though that are so stupid. Yeah, he's earned that,
Brownie has truly earned it. You don't know what he's earned. Right,
So you're on the road, you're in the hotel lobby,
you're at the Ritz in Orlando, and there's a bunch
of Instagram models hanging out there, and here's your old
man dragging you along with him. Come on, Bronnie wants

(20:32):
to spread his wings. He wants to get some Instagram
models when they go to Memphis. He doesn't want everybody
to hate him because of what his old man said.

Speaker 3 (20:38):
I hope he doesn't develop a developating cocaine habit like
Michael Jordan's son.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
Why not, you know, let's try it out. Let's see
where it takes us. I can tell you where it's
gonna take you.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
Man, It's gonna take you down, Ronnie. Song of the day.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
This is the song of the day.

Speaker 6 (21:00):
Long Hot Summer is our song of the day from
an English band called Sports Team, because The Petros and
Money Show is in the middle of a long hot summer.
Broadcasting live from Uniclow Field at Dodger Stadium, the home
of your favorite sports team, featuring a special Dodger edition
of In inside the locker room before Game two of

(21:21):
the Dodgers and Rockies, with a live Morongo Casino Dodgers
on Deck show with Tim Kats from the stadium. Coming
up at six o'clock.

Speaker 3 (21:30):
It's I don't worry about it, man, it's locked in.
It's solid lead pipe, five o'clock on the nose, don't
cold lead pipe, five o'clock on the nose, and man
Dalt rushing. We'll be right back with more Petrols and Money.
Top story of the day coming up.

Speaker 4 (21:49):
Petros Papadakis mat Money. This is Petros and Money on demand.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
Well, everybody, what's crackingly welcome back. It is the one
and only Petrosen Money Show. Big thanks to Brad the
bartender who brought us some me chees and now we're gonna.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
Grab some che che Wow.

Speaker 3 (22:15):
Look at all our people are down.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
There, pack down there. Man.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
Wow, it's Crown people.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
You got the whole dug out in front of the
Dodgers or the there's a line in.

Speaker 3 (22:24):
Front of the Marines down there.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
It's more people than we're used to see.

Speaker 3 (22:28):
Supper five. What's going on out here? Dodgers, Rockies tonight?
Oh yeah, look at the sumber five on AM five seventy.
We're gonna talk to Mookie Betts in less than half
a half hour. We're gonna talk to Dalton Russian. But
right now it's time for the top story of the day,
Top story of the day.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
Well, of course, this wasn't a one day conversation. It's
something that deserves attention multiple days from the petros and
Money Show. Racial epithets were thrown out. They were left
for those to stew sleep upon, wake up this morning
and see whether or not those wounds had healed.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
If soal hard lies, it's hard to heal racial scars.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
It's hard, it really is. When someone delivers a really
firm and hard white guy. Yeah, it's really hard to
get past that because I see a white guy like
Craig and I'm like, what's a guy like That's a
good guy? A good guy.

Speaker 3 (23:19):
Rodney Fossil is still recovering as a white.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
Right, So I figured we got to build in our
white guys can't play. In the NBA conversation yesterday, all
the incoming from the national media, which was you know,
i'd like to say euphemized with the snow time Lakers,
But when you blatantly call out white guys for having
no chance to win an NBA title, so little belief

(23:44):
do you have in the white guys that you're willing
to put yourself on a plane across the Atlantic or
the Pacific.

Speaker 3 (23:52):
Rodney Pete said, if the Lakers win a championship in
the next five years, he'll leave the country for one year.
One year, which is, as was pointed out on the show,
about a month longer than he usually leaves, right.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
So it's not like it's really putting yourself out there
too much.

Speaker 3 (24:07):
But I'm gonna go on a luxury trip Phil Tomorrow
or the one you had said white you all you're
adding to a you're adding another one.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
So to stick up for the NBA white guys. In
the case of the Lakers, who else are you building
around Luca? Were he to be traded one for one,
might you might send him out for Shake Gilgess Alexander
You'd probably send him out for Wembin Yama. Or I

(24:38):
don't know. The best player in the NBA who happens
to be white, Nikola jokicch Oh, he's pretty good. He's
the best player in the NBA and he happens to
be white.

Speaker 3 (24:50):
Well, when was the last time he won a championship?

Speaker 2 (24:53):
Two? A few years ago. Uh. By the way, Luca
just turned twenty seven. He is not forty one. He
has been in the NBA eight years. In those eight years,
he has been All NBA First teams in one of
the five best players in the league. He's pretty good,
turns out, the only other two years he was injured,

(25:13):
and the first year he was the Rookie of the Year.
That's what we're talking now. Maybe you know, maybe there
were some people, you know, maybe our guy isn't on
his own here because maybe some people in those front
offices with the first or the second pick that we're like,
I can't take a white guy with the first pick.
We gotta take this DeAndre Aidon Feller not just a
white guy, but really, we can't be taking this white

(25:37):
this this guy over here, Baltic Freaquently. We got to
take this Marvin Bagley guy. You know, we can't. We're
not gonna win with a white guy on the team.
We're gonna let him slide.

Speaker 3 (25:45):
And then just imagine how tough it was for the
Dallas Mavericks.

Speaker 2 (25:48):
We'll think about this. You're the Atlanta Hawks. You draft
Luka Doncic, and much like the reception that Kevin Stefanski's getting,
it is their new head coach of the Atlanta Falcons.
The Atlanta Yeah, this is a black So we we're like,
wait a minute, we just drafted this guy. We thought
our fan base was going to be all excited about
taking this man that has set more European records in

(26:09):
the under twenty leagues than anyone that has come before him.
But instead they're revolting. They've got to get them out
of town immediately, and they sent them to Dallas for
Trey young because Atlanta wanted nothing to do with them,
just like they wanted nothing to do with Kevin stipit black. Yeah,
ask Jammel Hills, she'll tell you who, lovely lady. Yes,

(26:30):
this was not a good free agent class for all
of those that are picking on the snow time Lakers.

Speaker 3 (26:35):
And I don't like when Jamel Hill wears that blonde hair, like,
why are you trying to be like that girl?

Speaker 2 (26:40):
Cultural appropriate? That's what I'm seeing. I earned my blonde
hero all right. I go in the ocean every day
and I don't put anything in it, and I gotta
sit and I gotta deal with all that salt water,
and I get it. Pen that's what gets it La Lemonhead.
It's right now. Maybe two years ago the Dallas Mavericks
should have been like Cooper Flag.

Speaker 3 (26:58):
Yeah, well, I knew that.

Speaker 2 (27:01):
Everybody says that this is a lock to go number one,
but I don't know. I heard some sports radio guy
say that only one white guy has won a championship
in the last fifteen years, and only two of one
in the last twenty. But turns out that other white
guy was on our team, and it seemed to go
okay with him. Well, don't act like Rodney didn't throw
us a bone. He said we were good at yachting
and tennis. That's right. Well, but see my reaction to

(27:25):
that is because you know, it's not about me and
our people being good at tennis and yachting. It's about
closing those doors for some other kids that might believe
they have a future writing tennis and yachting and having
Rodney tell them, no, you don't.

Speaker 3 (27:39):
They tried to have a fan in that. It acted
like it didn't happen on their show today. But we
we really woke up pepperidg Farm. Remember I woke.

Speaker 2 (27:47):
Up and it was still strong in my memory. Banks.

Speaker 3 (27:53):
I will not be racially profound as somebody who can't
win at the NBA.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
Last time. I checked the same the same squad that
was peddling these issues they have with the white guy
being the player that's going to lead you to a
championship routine Lely made excuses for Lebron James and why
the Lakers weren't winning more in the playoffs, that the
front office didn't give him enough, that his teammates let

(28:20):
him down. So I decided to go and dig up. Okay, well,
maybe this Luka Doncic, this white guy just doesn't deliver
in the postseason. And then I looked at his averages
as someone who's made it to the NBA Finals already
in his career, he averages thirty one points, nine rebounds,
eight assists, and nearly two steals per game. But I

(28:41):
haven't heard anybody make excuses for the lack of success,
perhaps and winning a championship, that there wasn't enough around him,
or that maybe it wasn't his fault and the front
office let him down and they needed to support this
guy more.

Speaker 3 (28:53):
I don't usually hear that excuse unless it has something
to do with Lebron.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
James Roonjo Larno.

Speaker 3 (29:01):
Who we don't have to worry about it anymore.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
Yeah, And by the way, it turns out, Walker Kessler
was probably the best free agent on the market and
just happened to be white. That's a problem, though, So
instead of celebrating, Holy holy hell. Restricted free agents, especially
ones that are this talented, are never pried away from
their team. Yet the Lakers got the number one free
agent on the market all day, CP is the color

(29:26):
of his skin, and they attack the signing immediumly.

Speaker 3 (29:29):
And being here at Dodger Stadium, where the great Jackie Robinson.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
Right, you know, we won't stand for it. It does bother me.

Speaker 3 (29:37):
You're right, you know, it's kind of like this, Matt.
You know, you ordered a You go to a restaurant
and the best thing they have is lasagna. It's like
famous for LAZAGNI sure, and you go in and you're like,
I had lazaangnia yesterday. We got too much lazagna. I
need to switch it up, even though lazagna is the best.

Speaker 2 (29:57):
So now you're getting to play the shrimp scampy.

Speaker 3 (29:59):
I'm talking about food DEI.

Speaker 2 (30:04):
All right, I'm gonna get the jambalaya.

Speaker 3 (30:07):
When we return, I'll have the chicken figures.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
Top of the hour, Mookie Bets. Sorry, I went a
little along with that, but you know, injustices were levied
and they needed to be addressed. That's all right.

Speaker 4 (30:25):
This is Petro Smoney on Demand.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
Ow Snartley the most slipper like of segments here as
we went a little bit long with the top story
that dave Petro some money. Live on location at Dodger Stadium.
We are home of the back to back World Series
champion Dodgers, and we are all set fee for our
dodger our hour here at five o'clock. I'm down on
the field. We are awaiting the arrival of Mookie Bets

(30:50):
to the show. Dalton Rushing gonna join us as well.

Speaker 3 (30:53):
Yeah, and we will have both guys in the very
next hour. Between then and now, I'll reach you a
couple of texts and then we'll go back to brace.

Speaker 6 (31:00):
Secret text us a.

Speaker 5 (31:02):
Fine brought to you by your so called Toyota dealers.

Speaker 3 (31:05):
We make it easy. The Secret text also line, which
is actually by phone, and it's a little faster these
days because I got a new phone, and inevitably I
was told by our social media man Matt and Becky,
why didn't you just wait a couple of weeks and
get the new rep gud shut up?

Speaker 2 (31:22):
Never fails.

Speaker 4 (31:22):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (31:24):
I sold one of my cards on one piece night
for one dollars. Tell Smith and his price taking ways
to suck one.

Speaker 2 (31:33):
Oh that's fantastic.

Speaker 3 (31:35):
My son has the card and the hat and he
said his friend sold one on site for seven hundred bucks.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
Seven hundred bucks cash. Kate's you're hearing this, unfortunately, I'm
hearing ah. Geez, so much for a depressed market. That's
more than they then Ronnie's Ronnie Sundt Juli ended up
like four hundred bucks.

Speaker 3 (31:57):
I think the Dodgers use should use a rickshaw to
take well. We are embracing an Asian American Pacific islander
theme on the Dodgers for quite some time now, as
Joey Oltanians would incredible. Yeah, I'm a moto kent tomai
Ata before that. You know, unicloa Field, a great Japanese brand.
A rickshaw is pretty Asian. So as a tip took though,

(32:18):
which is the motorized version of the rickshaw that you
see a lot in Thailand and taking people to the
to the massage parlor.

Speaker 2 (32:24):
So we got a guy turning his legs over though,
pulling a rickshaw. Now we're really cooking.

Speaker 3 (32:28):
It would be pretty good and you get the rest
from the bullpen. But the intimidation of human movement.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
But I guess the guy trips and now the rickshaw.

Speaker 3 (32:37):
You know your insurance liability.

Speaker 2 (32:40):
Matt, that's where's out of the bench.

Speaker 3 (32:42):
That's what killed the cart in the eighties. Liability, Matt.
This says, you know, I was thinking the best American
World Cup game was very competitive, the most competitive four
to one soccer.

Speaker 2 (32:56):
Game I have ever ever seen.

Speaker 3 (33:00):
All Right, we'll be back with more Petro send money
on AM five seventy LA Sports Mookie Bets in just
a moment, brought to you by Verizon Wireless and our
friends at Verizon.

Speaker 2 (33:11):
We'll get down there and talk to him.

Speaker 3 (33:13):
Remember Dodgers, Rockies, Morongo Casino, Dodgers on Deck starts at
six and we'll go off into the evening.
