I mean, you play in front of fifty thousand people
every night, but there's a little bit of distance from you,
like and other things that you do, whether you're playing
music or podcasting. Do you ever get nerves for other
things that you shouldn't because we just assume, well, this
guy plays in the World Series and there's millions of
people watching him, he should be fine.
Speaker 8 (06:59):
Uh not this, But like when I'm playing golf or
bowling and there's a crowd behind me, nervous.
Speaker 6 (07:06):
But yeah, not so much celebrity golf tournaments though, Like
when there's a crowder on the first team, I mean
nervous for sure.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
Are you one that roots for Big Earn McCracken at
the end of Kingpinn You know that Bill Murray You're
going crazy with the rose and the ball?
Speaker 5 (07:20):
Or were you rooting for Woody with the rubber arm?
Speaker 9 (07:23):
Like Leslie, I haven't even watched. I'm a bowler and
I've been bowling my whole life and I have yet
to watch.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
What about The Big Lebowski Moviie, Yeah, I know both
of man. Okay, let's talk about The Dog Days. That's
something you could pass the time in August with those
two movies? Are the Dog Days real? As far as
a baseball team goes? Has it happened on every single
baseball team you've ever been on in in one way
or another? How How do you pull through August as

a veteran, and how do you help young guys get
through it?
Speaker 8 (07:57):
Yeah, I mean this is a time when you really
get tired. You got to figure out what to catch
your second win, especially with us, like all of us
are thirty plus, so.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
We've done it, old enough to have seen the big
Lebowski And I'm sorry, I don't want to take a
shot at you deserve you deserve better.
Speaker 9 (08:14):
I did that.
Speaker 8 (08:15):
But you know, we've we've done it, and it's it's
hard to Uh, it's just hard to keep going for
a long period of time, you know, when you're young
and uh, you got you know, contracts and all the
stuff to play for.
Speaker 9 (08:30):
It makes it a little a little different. But a
lot of.
Speaker 8 (08:33):
Us have kind of signed our deals and we're not
necessarily coasting, but we're.
Speaker 9 (08:37):
Playing and we don't have the back to necessarily to
play for.
Speaker 8 (08:42):
So when you get to situations when you're retired and whatnot,
it just sometimes it gets it gets tough, and sometimes
you it just you just suck.
Speaker 9 (08:50):
For a decisions, you know, and then once you catch
your breath.
Speaker 8 (08:53):
It's almost like within that time you're catching your breath
to then get ready for for the for the end.
So I think that's kind of where we were in
that point. You just need to catch our breath for
a minute and now would be okay.
Speaker 6 (09:06):
Is there is there such thing as the proverbial switch?
And is there like value to not grinding out every
single at bat in every single game when you are
playing for a third consecutive World Series.
Speaker 8 (09:16):
Yeah, that switch that you're talking about, it doesn't really exist.
Speaker 9 (09:23):
Like you have to really just keep playing. It's going
to be your identity.
Speaker 8 (09:26):
You can't just wait till the playoffs and then say, okay,
now I'm going to play serious.
Speaker 9 (09:30):
Like it doesn't It doesn't really work their way.
Speaker 8 (09:32):
You really needed to just play one way the whole
time and making your identity. And again, sometimes you're gonna
go through bad, bad spots, But as long as you're
playing the game the right way and going by then
everything you are right?
Speaker 5 (09:48):
Is there?

Just thinking about bowling and how exceptional you are at
that And when we talk to you last, you talked
about all the different sports you play. Is there like
one thing that you do that like you have to
do to prep no matter if it's baseball or bowling, Like,
I don't know if it's a mental rep of something
is it nutrition, is it superstition?
Speaker 4 (10:05):
Is there anything you do that like makes you feel ready?
Speaker 9 (10:11):
Not that I'm aware of.
Speaker 8 (10:12):
I think I just kind of have different routines for bowling,
for golf, for baseball, for whatever I'm doing, and I'm
okay with it if the routine changes. I'm not like
a superstickler when it comes to certain things. So no,
I don't have anything in specific. I mean, once the
game starts, it doesn't really matter what you.
Speaker 9 (10:33):
Did do did prior.
Speaker 8 (10:34):
You know, you got to focus on the task at hand,
and however you do that, that's how you do it.
Speaker 3 (10:38):

It's a really nice thing to see and deserved from
Mookie Bets. The other night I heard that you are
on the road in Arizona and you saw in the
distance David Vassay and the Klubbes sitting at a table,
and the classy guy like Mookie Bets. Most of us
would want to do what So I don't know what
the clobes are like, but if you saw Vassay, you'd

want to go flip the table. But instead, what did
Mookie do? He sent them a giant platter of turos
in Arizona. Talk about just being that guy on the road,
And were you that guy always when you were younger
or you know, when did you become proprietary in those
kind of ways.
Speaker 8 (11:50):
You use some big words, by the way, you're good
at it. No, I think it's just learned. You know,
somebody did it for me when I was when I
was younger, and so now it's just a little gestures.
I mean, I don't pay any attention to it, you know,
I'm just sending and saying thanks. Plus, those guys work
so hard, especially the clubbies. I mean they're Dave, yeah, Dave,
(12:14):
he he does. But those guys work so hard. They
do everything for us and so just some cheeros is
like literally the easiest thing in the world.
Speaker 6 (12:23):
So when you know, we mentioned it coming in back
to back World Series champs, thinking about your twenty twenty
four postseason, did.
Speaker 4 (12:30):
You feel that coming?
Speaker 6 (12:31):
Are there things that you can take from each postseason
when you go back and look to see how those
playoff runs went and try to figure something out on lockdow, Like,
what what do you remember about that? I think it
might have been your it's probably your greatest postseason ever
write that run.
Speaker 8 (12:43):
Yeah, you know, they're all so different, and.
Speaker 7 (12:49):
It's it's hard. I just know in the postseason it
gets really hard.
Speaker 8 (12:52):
You know, you're playing the best teams and then the
best pitching. And I think I was talking to our
hitting coach and that average fastball now is like ninety
four point whatever in the playoffs is ninety seven. So,
like you know it, it just gets harder, and you know,
game planning gets harder, and everything gets harder, and so
(13:12):
sometimes it's just about getting hot at the right time.
There's no real explanation for how that works. And so
I did in twenty four. But historically I haven't been
great in playoffs, and there's I don't necessarily know why,
but I'm happy I did then and let's we can
see if we can do it again.
Speaker 6 (13:32):
When you were in here before we got this thing
role and I heard you talking about the guitar and
playing the guitar. You know a lot of people talk
about music and therapeutic. Is it is it a challenge
thing for you that you want to master it? Is
it something that brings you pee? Is that your plot?
Speaker 7 (13:46):
Like?
Speaker 4 (13:47):
What is it that that that does for you?
Speaker 7 (13:49):
It's definitely part of my part of my play. My dad.
Speaker 8 (13:52):
My dad gave me his guitar, well one of his
guitars a couple of years ago, and it was before
I started playing.
Speaker 7 (14:00):
And when he gave it to me, I was like,
well what am I going to do with it?
Speaker 8 (14:03):
And I was talking to my wife and I just like, well,
you know what, I'm going to learn how to play it?
Speaker 5 (14:08):
And uh.
Speaker 8 (14:09):
Since then, I called a good friend of mine named
Ernest who was he's on tour and whatnot, and he
connected me with his guy and I'll take lessons at
least once a week now, virtual lessons, and I'm really
just want to get good at it.
Speaker 9 (14:24):
You know.
Speaker 8 (14:25):
It's something that after games when I go home camp Bowl.
It's too late the ball, I'm tired. I don't want
to play golf at night, so I just uh, I'll
play the guitar. And actually now I want to get
better at it, just because I play the guitar for
my kids to go to sleep.
Speaker 6 (14:41):
Oh you shredding.
Speaker 8 (14:47):
Not shredding now, just little soft, little lettle byes and
whatnot that they go to sleep.
Speaker 3 (14:53):
You might want to wind down with a movie like
the one. He bets a hero to us, all is
our guest and we're really happy to have him. It
feels like every year, I mean, since you've been on
the Dodgers and when you came. I remember the night
Matt and I were doing the radio show. There's some
kind of celebration, you know, Tani's signing Rokie signing y'a momoto.
(15:17):
The Scoopal trade was a big celebration in the streets
in La. What's he like and what's it like to
compete with a guy like that?
Speaker 7 (15:24):
So he's awesome, He's awesome.
Speaker 8 (15:26):
I got to talk to him a little bit during
the All MLB Awards and I really got to feel
for who he was. And then when he came over
I mean you can feel it. You can feel it
his intensity, especially when he's when he's pitching. But when
he's when he's not pitching, you he's just hanging out.
He's just a dude, you know, He's just a duty.
He enjoys being around the guys. He enjoys competing and

whatever it is, whether it's lifting weights or whatever.
Speaker 7 (15:49):
You can just see that his fire.
Speaker 8 (15:52):
He's kind of he's just lit with that, and I
think that's what makes him so good and I'm glad
he's in our team.
Speaker 6 (15:57):
Is there a I mean, it feels like you guys
that the Dodgers recruit themselves. I mean, clearly with the
winning and this everything that surrounds us right now. But
when you mentioned MLB Awards and like, there were some
videos floating around of you in the past talking to
guys at All Star games. So tany talking to him
at the All Star Game? Are you recruiting or are
you guys just kind of shooting it now?
Speaker 8 (16:16):
Yeah, I don't know why that keeps Like are we
supposed to not talk to anybody or whatever? You know,
Like it's just the conversation, you know, We're just we
just talked. We don't ever, No, I don't do that.
I'm not recruiting like you said. I mean, I don't
even have nothing to do with that. Yeah, I can't
even that's Andrew and those guys, and so no, I'm

just talking now. These are my peers. These essentially the
guys I'm doing life with. You know, I'm gonna do
with these guys for twenty years, and so they just
become friends and conversations or conversations. But never, never in
my trying to recruit somebody to come to be a Dodger.
Speaker 7 (16:53):
I mean, either you want to be or you're.
Speaker 5 (16:54):
Not seventy five with a light breeze in La today.
I don't know. Overall, you guys.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
Have had so much success, and it's been so much
fun to watch the team grow over the years and
and be what it is today.
Speaker 5 (17:13):
How do you think you'll remember these times?
Speaker 1 (17:16):
You know?
Speaker 3 (17:16):
I mean, because look back to twenty eighteen, it feels
like a really long time ago. And I mean you
were the toast of baseball and here you guys are
still doing it.
Speaker 5 (17:26):
What do you think your perspective will be?
Speaker 8 (17:30):
I truly don't don't know, but I think I'll be
I'll be happy. I think I'll be happy and I'll
be able to look back and say, like, I got
an opportunity that most people don't get, and that's really
just to win every year. I remember when I when
I signed here, I told Andrew in the front and
the owners, like, you got to promise me that we're
(17:51):
going to have a chance to win every year. And
they promised, and they've held up their promise and they've
kept adding, kept adding, and I think, uh, you know,
this this stretch of of my my years that I
get to play, I think I'll always remember just because
I actually legitimately got a chance to win every year,
(18:12):
and now I have a chance to be in the
history books. And so I mean, my cousin played in
the big leagues and he never made postseason. So for
me to be able to, I've only think I've only
missed postseason twice, and that's that's a blessing in itself.
Speaker 7 (18:24):
And so I'll definitely be happy with the with the
career I've.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
Had so much for the villains of baseball, right, Yeah,
it doesn't it doesn't really feel like you guys don't
really fit the villain bill. Yeah, you know, how do
you guys how do you process that or you just
shrug it off or.
Speaker 8 (18:38):
We just shrug it off because it's like, I mean,
if you go around and look all the teams, they
like talking to us, you know, and we we enjoy
uh when people get on base, we're talking laughing when
you know, we go to all MLB awards or any anywhere,
like we're talking to guys and so there's no bad
(18:59):
due out there. So being the villains for what I
don't fully know, but waiting it is. Yeah, I guess
it is. We're supposed to lose, right, So it is
what it is.
Speaker 6 (19:10):
So when whenever this happens, I don't know, fifteen years
from now and everyone here is sitting in the stands,
we got our corona and we're enjoying the evening and
number fifty is being retired up there here at Dodger Stadium.
Do you have like, do you have a reel in
your brain of like what plays would be running behind
you on Diamond Vision? Are there moments that you can

remember that just immediately jumped to mind that you can
think about.
Speaker 9 (19:38):
I mean.
Speaker 8 (19:40):
Maybe maybe, I mean not all I think it's I
don't ever like take a second to step back and
look at what I've done. Maybe because I'm in it,
and so I think when I'm done, I actually be
able to tear my brain off and then look back.
But the top of my head, probably in the twenty
twenty World Series, in the bubble, I made and right
was there was some good plays that I've made.

And she went defense first, defense first.
Speaker 8 (20:06):
Yeah, hitting, I mean it's kind of here and there
you'll have a big moment.
Speaker 7 (20:10):
I mean, it is what it is.

But I feel like for me, most of them are
going to be on the defensive end, and and you know,
kind of I feel like I've changed the game the
most on that side.

Of the ball.

Change the game for sure. Mookie tell us about the
sweet jersey. I would have warned mine, but it was
stolen from me by my son. But it is pretty sweet.
They'll apply of jersey very cool.

It's basically a representation of me. I just didn't I
forgot to put the guitar on there. But yeah, yeah,
I got my bowling, I got golf.

I really those are the main things that I do to.

Chill, you know. The I mean, I'm learning to enjoy
the beach. My wife enjoys going to the beach, but
I'm so active. Like when I go to the beach,
I think of being volleyball or you know, playing football
or something on the beach. But but you're definitely getting
the bowl and getting the getting to play golf is
like like going.

To the beach.
Speaker 8 (21:09):
For me, it's it's I can go chill and and
get my mind right for whatever it is, or get
a little competitive edge out for whatever it is there,
and then uh, yeah, I can really just be out
there all day and or in the lanes all day
and just doing nothing but doing something.

You rap with this, Then you mentioned the guitar.
Speaker 6 (21:28):
You said you'd like to have had it on there,
but you forgot so like I'm just trying to envision you,
Like after the kids go to bed, do you go
downstairs and like plug in and like you're working on
the Purple Rain solo or something like that.

I won't do that, I really am.

Just my goal is to play at the All MLB
Awards this year, play a little song or something.

I don't sing though, that's the only thing, so he'll

Yeah, as long as it's not me sing, and you
know it is what it is. But yeah, I really
would like to play some gigs or do something just
because I love music and I've really grown to love
playing the guitar.

Uh not this, But like when I'm playing golf or
bowling and there's a crowd behind me, nervous.

But yeah, not so much celebrity golf tournaments though, Like
when there's a crowder on the first team, I mean

Are you one that roots for Big Earn McCracken at

Like Leslie, I haven't even watched. I'm a bowler and
I've been bowling my whole life and I have yet

of man. Okay, let's talk about The Dog Days. That's
something you could pass the time in August with those
two movies? Are the Dog Days real? As far as
a baseball team goes? Has it happened on every single
baseball team you've ever been on in in one way
or another? How How do you pull through August as

a veteran, and how do you help young guys get
through it?
Speaker 8 (07:57):
Yeah, I mean this is a time when you really
get tired. You got to figure out what to catch
your second win, especially with us, like all of us
are thirty plus, so.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
We've done it, old enough to have seen the big
Lebowski And I'm sorry, I don't want to take a
shot at you deserve you deserve better.
Speaker 9 (08:14):
I did that.
Speaker 8 (08:15):
But you know, we've we've done it, and it's it's
hard to Uh, it's just hard to keep going for
a long period of time, you know, when you're young
and uh, you got you know, contracts and all the
stuff to play for.
Speaker 9 (08:30):
It makes it a little a little different. But a
lot of.
Speaker 8 (08:33):
Us have kind of signed our deals and we're not
necessarily coasting, but we're.
Speaker 9 (08:37):
Playing and we don't have the back to necessarily to
play for.
Speaker 8 (08:42):
So when you get to situations when you're retired and whatnot,
it just sometimes it gets it gets tough, and sometimes
you it just you just suck.
Speaker 9 (08:50):
For a decisions, you know, and then once you catch
your breath.
Speaker 8 (08:53):
It's almost like within that time you're catching your breath
to then get ready for for the for the end.
So I think that's kind of where we were in
that point. You just need to catch our breath for
a minute and now would be okay.
Speaker 6 (09:06):
Is there is there such thing as the proverbial switch?
And is there like value to not grinding out every
single at bat in every single game when you are
playing for a third consecutive World Series.
Speaker 8 (09:16):
Yeah, that switch that you're talking about, it doesn't really exist.
Speaker 9 (09:23):
Like you have to really just keep playing. It's going
to be your identity.
Speaker 8 (09:26):
You can't just wait till the playoffs and then say, okay,
now I'm going to play serious.
Speaker 9 (09:30):
Like it doesn't It doesn't really work their way.
Speaker 8 (09:32):
You really needed to just play one way the whole
time and making your identity. And again, sometimes you're gonna
go through bad, bad spots, But as long as you're
playing the game the right way and going by then
everything you are right?
Speaker 5 (09:48):
Is there?
Speaker 6 (09:49):
Just thinking about bowling and how exceptional you are at
that And when we talk to you last, you talked
about all the different sports you play. Is there like
one thing that you do that like you have to
do to prep no matter if it's baseball or bowling, Like,
I don't know if it's a mental rep of something
is it nutrition, is it superstition?
Speaker 4 (10:05):
Is there anything you do that like makes you feel ready?
Speaker 9 (10:11):
Not that I'm aware of.
Speaker 8 (10:12):
I think I just kind of have different routines for bowling,
for golf, for baseball, for whatever I'm doing, and I'm
okay with it if the routine changes. I'm not like
a superstickler when it comes to certain things. So no,
I don't have anything in specific. I mean, once the
game starts, it doesn't really matter what you.
Speaker 9 (10:33):
Did do did prior.
Speaker 8 (10:34):
You know, you got to focus on the task at hand,
and however you do that, that's how you do it.

on the road in Arizona and you saw in the
distance David Vassay and the Klubbes sitting at a table,
and the classy guy like Mookie Bets. Most of us
would want to do what So I don't know what
the clobes are like, but if you saw Vassay, you'd

want to go flip the table. But instead, what did
Mookie do? He sent them a giant platter of turos
in Arizona. Talk about just being that guy on the road,
And were you that guy always when you were younger
or you know, when did you become proprietary in those
kind of ways.
Speaker 8 (11:50):
You use some big words, by the way, you're good
at it. No, I think it's just learned. You know,
somebody did it for me when I was when I
was younger, and so now it's just a little gestures.
I mean, I don't pay any attention to it, you know,
I'm just sending and saying thanks. Plus, those guys work
so hard, especially the clubbies. I mean they're Dave, yeah, Dave,

he he does. But those guys work so hard. They
do everything for us and so just some cheeros is
like literally the easiest thing in the world.
Speaker 6 (12:23):
So when you know, we mentioned it coming in back
to back World Series champs, thinking about your twenty twenty
four postseason, did.
Speaker 4 (12:30):
You feel that coming?
Speaker 6 (12:31):
Are there things that you can take from each postseason
when you go back and look to see how those
playoff runs went and try to figure something out on lockdow, Like,
what what do you remember about that? I think it
might have been your it's probably your greatest postseason ever
write that run.
Speaker 8 (12:43):
Yeah, you know, they're all so different, and.
Speaker 7 (12:49):
It's it's hard. I just know in the postseason it
gets really hard.
Speaker 8 (12:52):
You know, you're playing the best teams and then the
best pitching. And I think I was talking to our
hitting coach and that average fastball now is like ninety
four point whatever in the playoffs is ninety seven. So,
like you know it, it just gets harder, and you know,
game planning gets harder, and everything gets harder, and so
(13:12):
sometimes it's just about getting hot at the right time.
There's no real explanation for how that works. And so
I did in twenty four. But historically I haven't been
great in playoffs, and there's I don't necessarily know why,
but I'm happy I did then and let's we can
see if we can do it again.
Speaker 6 (13:32):
When you were in here before we got this thing
role and I heard you talking about the guitar and
playing the guitar. You know a lot of people talk
about music and therapeutic. Is it is it a challenge
thing for you that you want to master it? Is
it something that brings you pee? Is that your plot?
Speaker 7 (13:46):
Like?
Speaker 4 (13:47):
What is it that that that does for you?
Speaker 7 (13:49):
It's definitely part of my part of my play. My dad.
Speaker 8 (13:52):
My dad gave me his guitar, well one of his
guitars a couple of years ago, and it was before
I started playing.
Speaker 7 (14:00):
And when he gave it to me, I was like,
well what am I going to do with it?
Speaker 8 (14:03):
And I was talking to my wife and I just like, well,
you know what, I'm going to learn how to play it?
Speaker 5 (14:08):
And uh.
Speaker 8 (14:09):
Since then, I called a good friend of mine named
Ernest who was he's on tour and whatnot, and he
connected me with his guy and I'll take lessons at
least once a week now, virtual lessons, and I'm really
just want to get good at it.
Speaker 9 (14:24):
You know.
Speaker 8 (14:25):
It's something that after games when I go home camp Bowl.
It's too late the ball, I'm tired. I don't want
to play golf at night, so I just uh, I'll
play the guitar. And actually now I want to get
better at it, just because I play the guitar for
my kids to go to sleep.
Speaker 6 (14:41):
Oh you shredding.
Speaker 8 (14:47):
Not shredding now, just little soft, little lettle byes and
whatnot that they go to sleep.
Speaker 3 (14:53):
You might want to wind down with a movie like
the one. He bets a hero to us, all is
our guest and we're really happy to have him. It
feels like every year, I mean, since you've been on
the Dodgers and when you came. I remember the night
Matt and I were doing the radio show. There's some
kind of celebration, you know, Tani's signing Rokie signing y'a momoto.
(15:17):
The Scoopal trade was a big celebration in the streets
in La. What's he like and what's it like to
compete with a guy like that?
Speaker 7 (15:24):
So he's awesome, He's awesome.
Speaker 8 (15:26):
I got to talk to him a little bit during
the All MLB Awards and I really got to feel
for who he was. And then when he came over
I mean you can feel it. You can feel it
his intensity, especially when he's when he's pitching. But when
he's when he's not pitching, you he's just hanging out.
He's just a dude, you know, He's just a duty.
He enjoys being around the guys. He enjoys competing and

whatever it is, whether it's lifting weights or whatever.
Speaker 7 (15:49):
You can just see that his fire.
Speaker 8 (15:52):
He's kind of he's just lit with that, and I
think that's what makes him so good and I'm glad
he's in our team.

Is there a I mean, it feels like you guys
that the Dodgers recruit themselves. I mean, clearly with the
winning and this everything that surrounds us right now. But
when you mentioned MLB Awards and like, there were some
videos floating around of you in the past talking to
guys at All Star games. So tany talking to him
at the All Star Game? Are you recruiting or are
you guys just kind of shooting it now?
Speaker 8 (16:16):
Yeah, I don't know why that keeps Like are we
supposed to not talk to anybody or whatever? You know,
Like it's just the conversation, you know, We're just we
just talked. We don't ever, No, I don't do that.
I'm not recruiting like you said. I mean, I don't
even have nothing to do with that. Yeah, I can't
even that's Andrew and those guys, and so no, I'm

just talking now. These are my peers. These essentially the
guys I'm doing life with. You know, I'm gonna do
with these guys for twenty years, and so they just
become friends and conversations or conversations. But never, never in
my trying to recruit somebody to come to be a Dodger.

I mean, either you want to be or you're.

I truly don't don't know, but I think I'll be

be able to look back and say, like, I got
an opportunity that most people don't get, and that's really
just to win every year. I remember when I when

going to have a chance to win every year. And
they promised, and they've held up their promise and they've
kept adding, kept adding, and I think, uh, you know,
this this stretch of of my my years that I
get to play, I think I'll always remember just because
I actually legitimately got a chance to win every year,

and now I have a chance to be in the
history books. And so I mean, my cousin played in
the big leagues and he never made postseason. So for
me to be able to, I've only think I've only
missed postseason twice, and that's that's a blessing in itself.

And so I'll definitely be happy with the with the
career I've.

Had so much for the villains of baseball, right, Yeah,
it doesn't it doesn't really feel like you guys don't

if you go around and look all the teams, they
like talking to us, you know, and we we enjoy
uh when people get on base, we're talking laughing when

like we're talking to guys and so there's no bad

due out there. So being the villains for what I
don't fully know, but waiting it is. Yeah, I guess
it is. We're supposed to lose, right, So it is
what it is.

So when whenever this happens, I don't know, fifteen years
from now and everyone here is sitting in the stands,
we got our corona and we're enjoying the evening and
number fifty is being retired up there here at Dodger Stadium.
Do you have like, do you have a reel in
your brain of like what plays would be running behind
you on Diamond Vision? Are there moments that you can

remember that just immediately jumped to mind that you can
think about.

Maybe maybe, I mean not all I think it's I
don't ever like take a second to step back and
look at what I've done. Maybe because I'm in it,
and so I think when I'm done, I actually be
able to tear my brain off and then look back.
But the top of my head, probably in the twenty
twenty World Series, in the bubble, I made and right
was there was some good plays that I've made.

the beach. My wife enjoys going to the beach, but
I'm so active. Like when I go to the beach,
I think of being volleyball or you know, playing football
or something on the beach. But but you're definitely getting
the bowl and getting the getting to play golf is
like like going.

For me, it's it's I can go chill and and
get my mind right for whatever it is, or get
a little competitive edge out for whatever it is there,
and then uh, yeah, I can really just be out
there all day and or in the lanes all day

long and storied career in the film industry. Born in Scotland,
but grew up all over the place, Hong Kong, Uganda,
Kenya said that that and those experienced shape you're.

Are you gonna his interest in storytelling. He went to
Loretto School in Scotland, later studied at the London Film Institute,
graduated in nineteen seventy began working in television, had a

commercials Coca Cola, Shelle Chrysler, the Big Time. Nineteen seventy

five directed his first feature film, Intimate Reflections, that was
shown at the London Film Festival, and seventy seven boy
Boyd started his own production company produced some big indie films.
He was the indie film director slash producer of record
in the UK in the seventies Scum directed by Alan Clark.
