Speaker 4 (00:56):
They will basically alcoholics.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
Your husband keeps lousy company.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Missus Samson as bad as there is in LA and
that's as bad as there is. The key is not
to prioritize what's on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Looking me, you expect throw some money AM five seventy
LA Sports Live everywhere on the iHeartRadio app. David Vasse
join us in the next segment from Dodger Stadium. Dalton
Rushing called up. Roki Sasaki injured along with Blake Snell
and Tyler Glass. Noow so a lot of moving parts.
We'll check in with him as we have. Dodgers A's
coming up right here on AM five seventy LA Sports

(01:39):
your home with the World Series Champion Dodgers from the
Gallpin Motors Broadcast Booth at seven pm. Dodgers on Deck.
That's six schedule.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
We're live everywhere on the iHeartRadio app. You can do
the little talk back today and react to the sadness
or the excitement of the Austin Barnes Dalton Rushing shock
that we dealt with earlier in the day David mass
As Matt said, we'll be here to address it all.

(02:12):
But I guess we should play the whole schedule open,
right because as long version the NFL schedule is out,
I mean, you know, it trickles out. In the NFL.
They do favors to all their favorite information guys, like
the Starbucks guy and the Little Mighty Mite guy, the
wants to fight the Starbucks guy and so on. But

(02:32):
we got scheduled. Matt knows two Okay.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
No, time.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
There's never any time. We're no slouches study schedule talk
all right, Matt, Well, you had an inspiring dissertation about
your years traveling with the Chargers in the last hour.
Now that the schedule is out, I bet it has
flipped your wig.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Yeah, turned the break an opportunity to poke through those
that are typically the best at doing the schedule release videos.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Did you see the rams they did that Brenda song
from The Sweet Live of Zack and Cody.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
McCauley Culkin's wife. She was at a Laker game all
geeked up about sports and it went viral on social
media and the Rams jumped on top of it and
they made her like a sports anger like you and
the Bone Zone, and she tried and she put out
some great RAMS information.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
So they did that. The Chargers did Minecraft. Of course
in the past, they've done the anime and the Chargers
like SIMS.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
They stick with the UH with the young people digital stuff.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Yeah right, and they do the Easter eggs. So the
couple that I was able to locate the Chiefs in
their home and Minecraft had a couple reps in there
with them helping them build their house. Oh that's the
one picked up on that one, and then I picked
up on the chat was going on when they did
the Dallas and it was the whatever, the online argument
that Michael Parsons was happening with that teammate the Titans.

(04:12):
They're getting really good at this. The Titans did a
take on the diabetes drug posts commercials, you know, the
whatever Rizzy sky Rizzy. Yeah, and they did it with
schedule everything. Yeah, they did. They did that a take
on that which is pretty dark, dude, So check all
those out. But yeah, ask for the schedule takeaways.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Yes, Sunday Night.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
Here's your takeaways. I think for the Chargers, the last
last year a little bit of a rough deal in
terms of the way they schedule it. They had the
early buy the year before that, they had an early buy.
This year they catch a break. Their bye is not
until week twelve, so that's good for them. The Rams
end up getting like the perfect spot for thereby they
get a week nine by. The Chargers only have let's

(05:00):
see one two. They open the season back to back road.
He's in Brazil, but then a short trip to Vegas
for Monday Night football in week two and then not
until week fifteen. Do they have back to back road games,
so everything else is either back to back home or
alternate home and road, and you know some back and
forth to the East Coast Week four, Giants home against

(05:23):
the Commanders, back to the East Coast, Dolphins home against
the Colts. They have five primetime games, so Monday night
at Vegas, Thursday night home Vikings, Sunday night home Steelers,
and Monday night home Eagles. So they catch a break there.
You go east for the Monday night or Thursday night
Sunday nights of paint in the ash. You don't get

(05:43):
home till like five am, so they catch a break.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
It's like the Sunday night Baseball of football.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
And I think probably the one thing that stands out
ahead of everything else is they play the division in
the first three weeks KC Week one, Raiders Week two,
and Denver Week three, so you know they always say
those games Connas two, so you know, either great or
gnarly depending on how that turns out. They'll be on

(06:11):
the road three of the last four at CAC, at Dallas,
home Houston, and at Denver. It's kind of how that
all lays out. Nice time a year to be in
New York September twenty eighth, not too bad. In Miami
October twelfth shouldn't be as hot or in humid as
it is in early September there. But then you got
to deal with the winner elements of kse December fourteenth

(06:33):
and Denver January fourth.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
Man, what about the team everybody wants to hear about.
The Silver and Black are back. They play Raiders Monday
Night football, Dallas, brother.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
They got two Monday nights, so the Chargers have five
primetime games. The Raiders cheats have eight. Chiefs have five
in the first seven weeks.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Man, They're gonna get every drop of blood out of
the Kelsey stone before it falls off a cliff.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
They have Brazil, they have Thanksgiving, and they have Christmas.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
The Chiefs, oh, Travis Kelsey very upset about it? Any
about he made it known?

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Yeah? They Yeah. So the Raiders open it New England. Then,
as we mentioned, of course, the Chargers Monday Night Chargers
Raiders play weeks two and thirteen thirteen. Here two there,
let's see what do they got here? A couple back
to back roadies. That's kind of a tough one to
Philly to Houston. But other than that, it's all right,

(07:32):
mostly rotating. Let's home and away, so not too bad
for the Raiders. They close with Kansas City while the Raiders,
while the Chargers close with Denver. You know your player
division every single week eighteen now, it's kind of how
they have that lined up. So there's the Raiders. I
don't know some games you might want to travel to
for the Raiders. Ibout Raiders Bears, Caleb Williams and that

(07:54):
Bears team in week four. If let's see what else
you got the Giants Week seventeen, Cleveland, Yeah not Oh,
there you go, Dallas, right, that would be the one
you probably want, Dallas Monday. Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
I've tried. I'm trying to be part of the schedule.
This conversation, it's all flying at me.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
It's all on a grid.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
I'm trying to make sense of it. You've had the
grand all day, don't lie, You've had the grand all day.
You special types. You games.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
Rams have a bunch of back to back road games.
They back to back weeks two and three, Tennessee Philadelphia,
back to back roadies including London. So they'll fly to
Baltimore week six and then stay and go to London.
To play Jacksonville. That's back to back roadies.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
May somebody have to stay out in Europe.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
Yeah, Minnesota. They are doing back to back London games
this year.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
Pittsburghs for Ireland and London.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
Yeah, exactly. They do Ireland and then they do London.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Back to bad whiteheart Land your favorite man.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
Pretty cool. Rams. Also back to back Roadies Carolina Arizona
and then back to back Roadies again. Yeah, on Thursday night,
followed by Atlanta. So it's a little bit of a
tough deal there for a West Coast team. Travel tends
to be a little harder out here than it is
anywhere else. Yeah, they got Monday night Atlanta on the road.

(09:13):
They've got Thursday night home San Francisco and Sunday night
home Tampa Bay. So there's your prime times for the Rams.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
That's some great schedule talk. Matt, nobody, and I mean
nobody reacts and hand when it's flying at you pee
well in a mature way. Though, we react, distribute and
let everybody know what the schedule is and how it

(09:45):
may or may not affect them, and most importantly, how
it may or may not affect Matt money Smith schedule.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
Yeah, so most importantly, here we go to uh, what
do we got to? Miami? Week six? I believe the
Hurricanes are on the road, so I can't do that one.
I got Tennessee Week nine. I believe the Tennessee Volls
are home, so I can go see a little Tennessee Oklahoma.
Go oh, Jacksonville. Week eleven, Florida State is home too,

(10:21):
so I can visit the stadium where you played a
little football Florida State v. Virginia Tech that Saturday.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
Oh, that's a great game. Did you see Metallica at
Virginia Tech the other day? I did not play Enter Sandman.
Pretty sweet, pretty awesome. Oh matnew. I've never seen so
many white rednecks jumping up and down.

Speaker 3 (10:41):
Nobody does it like white rednecks.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
No, nobody does.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
Nobody does it.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
I live in a cracker house in Florida. Well that's
our NFL reveal.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
There we go.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
Schedule extravaganza coming up next. We'll try to steer it
back to what we got going on tonight, and that
is Dodgers. Yes, Dodgers. A's seismic changes to the Dodger
lineup today. Dalton Rushing is here, Pau Austin Barnes. He's gone,
oh you're oh, you know you're.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
Petro Some Money and five seventy LA Sports live everywhere

A's with Yamamoto on the mound.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
And right now, we got to get out to Dodger
Stadium because that's where all the news is broken.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
David the Dodgers with an inside look at the Dodgers.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
This is the Vassie Report with David Vasse. All right,
David Vasse brought to you. My sir is Titan. Southern
California Commercial and residential contractors using Service Titan software. Typically
you see a seventeen percent increase in revenue in their
first two years. Earn more. Go to servicetitan dot com.

(12:14):
Individual results may vary. It's David Vassa live from Dodger Stadium,
Dalton rushing in, our old friend Austin Barnes Radio lover
out and David Vassy is joining us on the Petro
send Money Show with the latest day. What's cracking out there?

Speaker 1 (12:31):
I know.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
Dave Roberts spoke a little earlier.

Speaker 4 (12:34):
Yeah he did. He talked about the decision the Dodgers
made to move on from Austin Barnes. I got texts
last night on my way home after Dodger talked that
Austin Barnes was informed after last night's game that they're
going to DFA him and call up Dalton Rushing. Dave
Roberts talked about that decision to risk Fendo. A lot

(12:56):
of people care Bunda anyway, Guys are coming off, you know,
obviously it's an emotional day here at Dodgers Stadium. Austin
was a very popular teammate. So everybody likes Dalton Rushing
as they enjoyed being around them in spring training. But
this guy was around the team and spent his entire
major league career with the Dodgers, going back to when

(13:18):
he was acquired in twenty fifteen. So mixed emotions day
for a lot of people, including Andrew Friedman, who had
to make that decision.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
Dave, in terms of Barnes and Rushing, is this just
a straight swap should we expectcause we know they were
kind of working them out at a bunch of different positions.
Is Rushing just going to fill the Austin Barnes role
now of catching?

Speaker 4 (13:39):
He's going to do that and then some The way
Dave Roberts explained it is they want to have Dalton
Rushing catch more than just once a week that Austin
Barnes was backing up Will Smith. There's no secret about it.
Will's offensive production has dropped off significantly each of the
last two second halves of the season. So by bringing

(14:01):
up Dalton Rushing and getting them around this pitching staff
in a limited capacity to begin with, is going to
be beneficial to Rushing and to the Dodgers in the
long run. And also, you know, gets Will Smith off
his feet behind the plate and also gives the Dodgers
an option of a lieutenant power threat off the bench.

(14:21):
James Outman's here right now. He's starting in center field tonight,
but when Taaskar Hernandez is activated, James Outman more than
likely is going to be in Oklahoma City. So the
Dodgers have not had that left handed bat off the
bench as an option, and certainly a Dulton rushing provides it.
Dave Roberts did rule out him playing the outfield and

(14:42):
playing first base. He is the backup catcher to Will Smith.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
You know, it's a little wild, Dave, because you spend
a lot of time with these guys and then all
of a sudden reality hits and the guillotine falls, and
it's not quite like getting sent to Triple A OKC.
And a lot of people thought that this couldn't This
could have been somebody else on the Dodgers, maybe Chris
Taylor or something like that. What's the mood in the
clubhouse right now?

Speaker 4 (15:09):
Yeah? The reaction I got from players that were texting
me over the course of the last twelve hours once
they got worried, is a lot of shock and surprise
and you know, I don't want to say sadness, but
disappointment that it came to this. I think everybody's asking
why now, and that's probably the only question. But you
got to give the Dodgers kudos for taking care of Barnes,

(15:31):
because they very easily could have declined his team option
during the offseason. Instead, Andrew Friedman, loyal to him, picked
up the option for three and a half million dollars
as a backup catcher, and the production just hasn't been there.
And even more so, the throwing issues behind the plate

(15:52):
have continued to be problematic when Barnes was starting, and
that's such a big part of the game. Now, you
can't have the catcher that can only throw out two
runners in seventeen attempts. And you know, the Dodgers I
feel like Dave Roberts kind of alluded to this in
the pregame press conference that this was not something that

(16:13):
Dodgers were discussing two weeks ago, but maybe take an inventory,
especially after the last game Barnes started in Arizona, where
the Diamondbacks were running wild again in this division, in
this league, in this game. Now, throwing is a very
important tool for a catcher, part.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
The other half of the battery, Dave, the pitchers, now
Sasaki the latest? Do you talked to us yesterday about
Snell and said July, which really kind of stopped us
in our tracks. Class Now, now Sasaki three fifths of
the starting rotation already gone. What's kind of the latest
there specifically with Sazaki? And is there any timetable on
that thing?

Speaker 4 (16:53):
Yeah, Sozaki's gonna speak to the media here shortly, so
we'll see what he says about it. But this this
is you know, there's a lot of pictures that pitched
through shoulder impingement, and obviously this is something that Suzaki
was not able to pitch through, and maybe it gives
him an opportunity to reset and clear his mind and

(17:14):
work on things the Dodgers feel like he needs to
work on during this period of time of getting his
shoulder right. I got good news in the pitching department today.
Blake Snell actually started throwing sixty feet. So it's the
first day and that's the reason why it's not going to.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
Be in June.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
It's going to be a progression here unless he really
accelerates it, and that's not something the Dodgers want him
to do. And as far as another pitcher that's going
to be coming up in the second half of the season,
Emmitt Sheen actually through a simulated game here at Dodgers
Stadium about an hour ago against taoscar Hernandez and Tommy Edmonds.

(17:51):
So Dave Roberts said that Emmit Sheen is a sneaky
sleeper for the Dodgers. The second half of the season.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
We love. Amachian is our guest, brought to you by
Service Titan Software. We appreciate Dave and the hard work
that he does in happy days at Dodgers Stadium and
sad ones. Shocking night last night for the Dodgers to
go down like that, how do you expect them to respond?

Speaker 4 (18:17):
I think it starts with Yamamoto tonight. Landon Knack another
starting pitcher for the Dodgers that couldn't even get to
the fifth inning or through five innings. So Yama Moto's
got to set the tone against a very young AIDS lineup.
And kudos to Jacob Wilson out of Thousand Oaks High
School having a career high for RBIs hitting a pair

(18:37):
of two run home runs off of Land and Neck.
I don't expect that to repeat itself tonight.

Speaker 3 (18:44):
The Great David Vassay a lot of moving parts around
the Dodgers. Be sure to check in with Dodgers on Deck.
He and Tim Kate's going to get you everything you
need prior to first pitch at seven to ten. We
appreciate it, Dave, Thank.

Speaker 4 (18:55):
You, Thank you guys.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
All Right, Dave, We'll be back with more great sports talk.
The NFL schedule is out so much to decipher, especially
the special Chargers Easter Egg reveal. I love it so much.
Check it out, and we'll do your dead and a
live guy Birthday of the Day coming up next, and

(19:19):
then we'll have Dodgers. A's Dave has James Outman, Yes,
James Outman as his pregame guest. I guess my dad
is happy that that Outman didn't get DFA right. Stay tuned,
so we just won't be defeated Wednesday.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
Here we are on the radio, still chugging along. Wow.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
I mean I thought it would take a few days.
I thought it would take a few days.

Speaker 3 (19:55):
Not cool.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
But it's been an emotional day, guys, Yes exactly, Dodgers
as not just on Tech six with Tim Kates, and
we're looking forward to that. We're live everywhere on the
iHeartRadio app schedule. Talk lives on the Petrosen Money Show
as the NFL schedule, even though it leaks out like
a Levy.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
No time. This is appropriate for today, Jesse.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
Just study, I'll never get in this schedule.

Speaker 3 (20:24):
Talk went through it a little bit earlier. We all
knew the Chargers would play the Chiefs in Brazil to
get started. But straight out the gate, bing bang boom,
as Tim Kates likes to say, Chiefs Week one at Raiders,
Monday Night football. Week two home against Denver, Week three,
every division opponent will be faced in the first three weeks.

(20:48):
Rams open at home against the Texans. Of course, all
the schedules out now, all the fancy videos, the social
media celebrate us. Isn't this great way to go? NFL?
You've done it again. Everybody's excited about a bunch of
names on a piece of paper.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
All right, Matt, we got the dead guy per day
of the day.

Speaker 3 (21:07):
Yeah, you're dead guy is Yeah, you know, we send
you out on a down note. Herbert why Ogilvy Morrison,
because look, we're in radio, we're radio journalists. And Herb
would have been one hundred and twenty today. His recorded
broadcast that did not air live but was played back,

(21:30):
you could argue, is the most famous. You know, maybe
war the World's, maybe Pearl Harbor, but Herbert's chronicling of
the catastrophic fire that destroyed LZ Won nine Hindenburg six,
nineteen thirty seven.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
And it's one thing to have Austin Barnes be you know, DFA.

Speaker 3 (21:50):
It's a day of radio. You know, it's a radio day.
We do radio. We're proud to be on the radio.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
Still alive. But a lot of people died on this day.

Speaker 3 (21:59):
Yes people. His phrase, Oh the humanity, one that has
lived on nearly ninety years after its transmission. Quick bio.
Then we'll get to the ninety seconds. Then we'll dig
into the ninety seconds. Born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania's father left
the family like a polp. Morrison moved in with his
grandmother and raised in Scottdale, Pennsylvania. He gets a job

(22:21):
in radio and Western PA and he's just kind of
slinging records, you know. He's a disc jockey, and he
works his way up the ranks and he ends up
being a disc jockey at Powerhouse WLS in Chicago. There
were some floods in the Midwest that he had covered
and sort of cut his teeth in the reporter world.

(22:41):
So he and his engineer Charlie were sent to cover
the arrival of the Hindenburgen, New Jersey for delayed broadcast
wasn't supposed to be played at the time. Radio network
policy forbade the use of any recorded material other than
sound effects, but Herb and Chuck had no facility for
a live broadcast. So when it was discovered that they

(23:04):
had actually laid this thing down in the moment on acetate,
the results became the prototype kind of for news broadcasting
in the years that followed. So, uh, here we go, oh,
here we go. H one minute, twenty seven seconds live

(23:26):
from New Jersey, May sixth, nineteen thirty seven. Our dead guy,
birthday to day, Herbert Morrison.

Speaker 4 (23:32):
That's tunning the rain again.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
Durin has clased up a little bit. They pas motors of.

Speaker 5 (23:37):
The Jeffers, holding it just enough to keep it from.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
It harts in the flames, get it done, to get
this cut. It hits fight, it's icy, hits right and terrible.

Speaker 5 (23:47):
Oh my, get out of.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
The white please.

Speaker 5 (23:49):
It's funny busting in the flames and it's holding.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
On the morning pass. And all the posts agree.

Speaker 5 (23:53):
That said it's terrible. This is the wasn't the one
testifies in the world. Oh it's funny.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
O for a time, I hadn't seed into the sky
in it.

Speaker 5 (24:02):
It's a terrific ze ladies and gentleman, and smokeing and
flames now and the flamens rising into the ground. It's
not quite to the annoying master, Oh the humanity and
all the fans screaming ground.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
I told you I cannot talk to people and pend
it on there. It's a.

Speaker 5 (24:22):
I can't talk, lady and gentleman on his particulate down,
massive choking recogniz and.

Speaker 2 (24:28):
Everybody can only breathing, talking.

Speaker 5 (24:31):
Screaming lady side. Honestly, I can highly praise. I'm the
deaf bag where I cannot see it.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
I'm sarting. That's terrible.

Speaker 5 (24:43):
I can't I let the folks. I'm gonna have to
talk for a minute because I've.

Speaker 2 (24:48):
Lost the poison. The worst thing I've ever with its herbanores.

Speaker 3 (24:51):
All right, his voice was not that high.

Speaker 2 (24:54):
Wow, I mean, what do you expect.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
Chuck was well, I guess Chuck was was running the
recording slow. So when they sent it via airplane back
and they sped it a regular tempo, it sped it up. Yeah,
and he's speaking at a much faster rate.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
Rate.

Speaker 3 (25:17):
After he calmed down, he would report at length on
the rescue efforts. Talked with survivors, had to pause several
times to compose himself, Emotionally affected by what he witnessed,
uh ninety seven on board of the Hindenburg. Thirty five
died in addition to one fatality on the ground, and
as I said, they rushed the the discs back to

(25:37):
Chicago by airplane. It was broadcast in full later that
same night, and then rebroadcast nationally by NBC the next day.
And you can argue, and a lot of it was
because the Zeppelin Company promoted their airships.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
Everybody wanted to come out and see it, Matt, you know,
it was a big to do. And then everybody went
out there and it blew up.

Speaker 3 (25:55):
It blew up right in front of their face, not
crash a media event, And with those Nasey symbols on
the tail and the German superiority and all that that
the Zeppelin pushed. I think, I don't know. I think
it might be the most famous radio broadcast of all
time and probably make a pretty pretty compelling case as

(26:16):
far as American radio broadcast. What were the world's I
don't know how, I.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
Mean, secret text also revealed twenty fifteen.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
That's a big one, especially that year that was that's
a good year for the touching Herbert Ogilvie Morrison, Matt.

Speaker 2 (26:32):
You're a live guy birthday of the day, beating out
the guy from the Talking Heads that everybody loves but
nobody actually likes in person, David Byrne, and beating out
one of your favorite players of all time, Kyle Freeland.

Speaker 3 (26:49):
Oh, cal Freeland warn here in the shadow of Coors
feel the names luck would have it, drafted by the Rockies,
and hearing his day making a start. Carl Freeland was
born the day of the Rockies were born. Figure that
one out.

Speaker 2 (27:07):
When I saw that day, all I could see Kyle
Carol Freeland.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
Sorry about Kyle, What.

Speaker 2 (27:15):
What would that be?

Speaker 3 (27:16):
Sir? I'm sorry, No, I want to hear it. Carol
was born the day of the Rockies were announced, right
in the shadow of what would become Coors Field. Now
Here we are some twenty two years later, and I'll
be darned Kyle wouldn't drafted by the Rockies, and he's
getting a start today for his hometown team.

Speaker 2 (27:38):
Eighty years old today. You know, Matt, there's a lot
of beauty patgeant talk because Bill Belichick's girlfriend and the
transitioning person she lost to in the Miss Maine pageant.
We did miss that that story, Matt, Is that right

runner up, Strong jaw Miss Maine.

Speaker 3 (28:12):
This is the Miss USA or the Miss America.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
Miss Miss uh I think it goes to Miss USA.

Speaker 3 (28:21):
That was the Trump one, right, there's not the one
that he owned for a while, Miss Usa.

Speaker 2 (28:24):

Speaker 3 (28:28):
It's just not our specialty.

Beatrice Martinez Solzano, known professionally as Anna Martin well less
of a Mouthful, a Mexican star, eighty years old today,
father mos Pamoso, comedian Heesus Martinez.

Speaker 4 (28:50):

Speaker 2 (28:50):
She won Miss World Mexico in nineteen sixty three, and
she went to compete for the Miss World in London
and was disqualified for being underage. Oh no, and Bill
Belichick swooped in a taker. But after that, matt she

(29:13):
made her name on the screen in Mexio popular movies
alongside some of the biggest young actors at the time,
Ce Sarcosta, Fernando Lukhan, Hey I like Fernando, Robert Taylor,
and Chad Everett. In the Return of the Gunfighter, which
she started really blew up Matt in nineteen eighty two

(29:38):
starring on the successful Gabrielle e Gabriella, which is kind
of like a Tutsi in reverse.

Speaker 3 (29:46):
The young girl becomes a dude trying to pass as
a man. Oh, yeah, that's all the right move, or uh,
just one of the guys.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
Yeah, or she's the man. Oh that's another one with
Amanda Bynes. After that, she started to become a big
super Astray in the early eighties, starring in big song
big shows like El Pascado day O Yuki. In eighty six,
she retired from public life, only to come back ten

(30:16):
years later and be a star again like shabe a'mor real,
Duelo de Paciones ung Gancho Alcorrasson Manyana sl Parasiembre. In
two thousand and nine, she made a small appearance in

(30:37):
Los Exeos Perez alongside Hami Camille.

Speaker 3 (30:43):
Oh that's a good one.

Speaker 2 (30:43):
Haimi Camille is one of our finest Mexicans on the
stage and screen. She's eighty years old today. I know
there's a lot of Gabrielle e Gabriella fans out there, Matt,
as it is one of the Great Mexican Shows, Telenove
of Romances of All Time, number of episodes one and

(31:05):
twenty four.

Speaker 3 (31:06):

Ana Martin not and Martin they've got in a fight
with Paul Moyer.

Speaker 3 (31:19):

Speaker 2 (31:23):
Then we'll be back on tomorrow. That's a three o'clock start.
Are the Dodgers going to lose by ten runs of
the A's again? Gosh, I sure hope not. But even
if they do, remember, you've got the NFL schedule in
your hot pocket. You can do schedule talk whenever you want.
Now we've given.

Speaker 3 (31:43):
Hands on this mismain contestant. Those are some myths.

Speaker 2 (31:47):

of like six of them or eight of them, and
I'm trying to figure out when one is. You can't tell, eh, well,
I'll be honest. I think it's the myts. I think
that's how I can tell.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
