(02:32):
great sports talk the four Dodgers wrong, great sports talk.
I have it on good authority that pingalre is out
at Dodger Stadium right now.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Taking like a victory left. Hey, Schoobl, Hey, here's the deal.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
I was the guy, but that is breaking news that
Pinglar Channel five danging, that ping is at Dodger Stadium
right now doing a Pingalore warning track victory laugh.

Speaker 5 (03:09):
I heard from somebody who apparently knows the ping that
he's been pretty oblivious to you guys talking about him,
That he has no idea that you guys have been
mentioning him for the last eight months, that he's just
been all focused on Schoobl coming to the Dodgers. He's
heard no outside noise at all. Who told you that

(03:31):
somebody that may be close to him, Oh, I do,
Then why did he approach us at the SCSB.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
I believe I can identify that source.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
Remember, he came up to us at the SCSB and
said hey guys, all right, yeah, here's the deal. That's
a good bit. Okay, all right, he told me love
the bit, the love the man, love it just.

Speaker 5 (03:50):
Well, maybe my source was wrong then, but they specifically
told me that he has been blocking out the outside noise.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
He did tell me. He did tell me a Chargers
camp that he roots for tiger losses so he can
get this trade to go through. So it's certain. So people,
you know, well, and they did.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
You know, all the radio stations in town celebrated in him.
They stroked his boots, they showed him love, they validated his.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
You hear him there on your station.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Eight months later, breaking news, very impactful stuff.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Here's the deal, guys, here's what's about to go down. Okay,
all right, Freeman Freeman, all right, Freeman wants school. They're
have a high level talks right now. Okay, here's the deal.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
He's going to meet school tonight. It's gonna be like
when a Rosch MARKCOSI met Verlander and up upland up
up updyke up upman what's her name?

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Campton?

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Like they found my doggy like and then.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
I like the I like to think that uh ping
Alora like went to the higher up said, hey, guys,
here's the deal, all right. I called this schoobl thing.
Fly me out to Chicago, let me get an exclusive.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Then you wanted that, I bet you know what, and
they went, no, idiot, I bet you damn it, Matt.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Get out to LAFC.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
Even though you could be joking, I totally bet you
he did lobby to be flown to Chicago for the
schoobl start. I guarantee you did.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
Hey, here's the deal, all right. I need to talk
to the least I could do.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Here's the dealer. Right, here's the least I can do
is get out there with with scoobls at Dodger Stadium, right.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
I mean, come on, guys, everybody knows I called this
from day one. I got to cash this thing in,
all right, come on, let's go send me out there.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Here's the deal, all right. One, I need some FaceTime
with Scoobla. Right, here's the Joe Jerrick, here's the dealer, right,
scoobl me face to face me. When's it gonna do it? Now?

Speaker 5 (05:48):
In all seriousness, you're welcome scoobl if there's a postgame
press conference, because Scoble just goes out and gets a
bunch of Scooby snacks tonight and strikes out everybody. It
has a dominant performance. They're gonna put him in the
media press conference room. Do you think Jim Hill, Kirsten Watson,
who usually gets the first question, it's gonna be a warn.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
I think it's gonna be a warning the street. Do
you think Pingolore is out tonight to insert his nipples
on everybody and cut glass with that?

Speaker 5 (06:13):
It's usually Kirsten first, because sports an l.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
A night tonight is Ping night. It's like the night
when that one guy who was in the G League
for one hundred years playing for the Lakers and they
called him up and he had like twenty points in
the last game he had like gray hair, Remember that guy.
Oh yeah, that's the night. Yeah, that's Ping's night tonight.
Everybody's gonna bow down.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
Hey everybody, here's the deal. The Ping's here deal.

Speaker 6 (06:38):
But here's the deal. Here's what I'm hearing right now,
free drink. It's trying to work a deal. He had
a major trade for Trek School.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Yeah right, here's what I'm hearing, everybody. It's January. Okay,
here's what I'm hearing. All right, freeling.

Speaker 5 (06:53):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, he'd have to go rogue though, because
Kirsen is gonna have the microphone that they pass around
so you can pick up the question.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Go rogue. What do you think? What did you just
play on the air.

Speaker 4 (07:03):
Here's a deal.

Speaker 6 (07:04):
Here's what I'm hearing right now, free it's uh trying
to work a deal get a major trade for Trek School.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
That's about the realest thing roguish thing you could do.
That's the thugst ruggish ball right there.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
Scoops, I called it, Scoobs. I'm pig I called it Scoobs.
Don't listen to her. Why are we there tomorrow?

Speaker 2 (07:25):
I wish we were there tonight like this, This is
what I want ping a ling a ling.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
Yeah, if you tried to do that, I'd love to.
I wish we'd be in there, like, Hey, he's.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Full Assassa is gonna be like an expectant bride tonight
tomorrow with Snell on the mound.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
This guy's a joke, Scoops, You and I we made
that connection.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
This guy's an idiot. Do you think somebody got is
gonna get to Scoobs before Pigolore gets to him.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
I want myself.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
Don't trust this guy. And Pigelo is gonna try to
get his foot in the door and friends with scoops.
This is gonna get ugly.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
Hey, listen, all right, here we going.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
Here's the deal. Here's what I'm hearing right now, Freeman.

Speaker 6 (08:07):
It's uh trying to work a deal, get a major
trade for Terrek School.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, he's desperate for attention.

Speaker 5 (08:18):
Do you think he's doing a live shot on the
KTLA channel.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
I'm putting it on right now. Turn it off. Game
of Thrones, hold on, put it all right.

Speaker 5 (08:27):
Now, the scorch're outside. But before we get to that,
let's go out to David Ping.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Let's go ping.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
All right, here's the deal? All right, guess what I
called it? That's right, everybody?

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Really okay? You know, speaking of guys that talk like that,
Let's get to the word of the day.

Speaker 7 (08:44):
His words, the word of the day.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
I'm Matt. I don't know if this is Sean McVay
or just a guy that looks like I'm to tease
this hair up. I thought this was a very I
saw this on Instagram about Aaron Donald.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
And I thought this is the lineup Beard.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
This is the latest here, this is the latest news
about Aaron Donald.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Man.

Speaker 8 (09:05):
Yeah, coach, do you have anything to say about the
rumors of Aaron Donald coming out of retirement and possibly
rejoining the Los Angeles Rams. You know what, I cannot
confirm nor deny the speculation about Aaron Donald coming out
of retirement rejoining the Rams. I can't guarantee comes back,
but I can't not guarantee comes back, So really it's
a non zero chance Aaron Donald comes back to join
the Rams, and if he does, the rest of the

(09:26):
league is in big trouble.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
YEP.

Speaker 8 (09:28):
What I can say is, at the moment he was drafted,
that was Thursday, May eight, twenty fourteen, at six forty
five pm Pacific time. That night would actually change my life.
I was not yet the coach of the Rams. However,
that day would consequentially become the best day of my life,
as he would allow me to coach one of the
greatest defensive players who ever walked this earth. Yep, it
was my absolute pleasure to coach Aaron Donald all those years,
and boy, I do anything to get him back. I

(09:49):
can also say the day he retired March fifteen, twenty
twenty four, at ten am Pacific time.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
That was the worst day of my life.

Speaker 8 (09:56):
I went through three cartons of Midship ice cream that afternoon,
and I also I forgot that I am lactose intolerant,
so I spent the entire day having diarrhea. As it
relates to today, I can't add any speculation to Aaron
Donald coming out of retirement and rejoined the Los Angeles
Rams at this time. What I can't provide, though, is
the NFL has no answer for Miles Garrett and Aaron Donald.
Guy's defensive force of the likes of this league has

(10:16):
not yet seen before, and I don't think they'll have
an answer this year.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
They won't have any great stuff. There will be no answer.
The hair is exceptional if he ever makes it out there,
but I cannot confirmed that he will. But if he does,
non zero chance, non zero champion.

Speaker 8 (10:31):
Really it's a non zero chance Aaron Donald comes back
to join the Rams.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
Non zero chance.

Speaker 4 (10:35):
It's time for the number of the day.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
Here's my number, number of the day. I tried to
come up with a number, but I couldn't, so I
just the number is analog. I saw this article and
I found it quite funny, and I do believe it
qualifies as irony. TikTok, and I believe we've talked about

(10:57):
this in the past. So there's this new end with
the young adults. They are doing what is called living analog.
They are ditching their smartphones for dumb phones. They are
carrying cameras, they are keeping journals by pen and paper.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
It's like the guys that started doing the mustache shaving
eighteen hundred style.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
Right, like, hey, we want to go back in time.
It's like cottage core to a simpler life. Yeah, and look,
I'm sure many young adults feel the pressures of social
media running their lives. Good for them. Shops have seen
an uptick in selling embroidery and needle point and crocheting items.
There is the official analog bag that carries all of

(11:44):
your analog stuff. It's kind of like your Trader Joe's
style tote. They want paperback books, they want many water
color palettes to paint their mini water color art. But
the irony comes in in that they're still posting all
of their analog activities like this is and it's a

(12:07):
hashtag analog living. So it's like, well, wait a minute.
The whole idea was to get away from this. Yet
you're posting the photo of you with your analog bag,
and then you're posting the photo of all this stuff
you have in your analog bag, your chessboard or your
majong board. Lban, which I thought was out of business,

(12:27):
apparently is the analog bag brand of record. They're all
buying the Llban toe bag and then they are embroidering
like Pouchi's analog bag on the.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
Side of it. I guess I'll believe this when the
kids start talking like it's Dawson's Creek, the Gilmour Girls
like hardcore dialog.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
Well, there are some numbers that back it up. Pee
Walkman sales are up one hundred and eleven percent instant
like a Walkman. Yes, Sony has reintroduced the Walkman. I
think it might. I don't know what I don't I
don't know, Like, I think it looks kind of like
a walk but it's really just an MP three player,

(13:09):
like an iPad, like an iPod. Polaroid cameras instant film
cameras up two hundred percent. And how about this, Dumb
phones are up twelve times in sales over the last
two years, like a Nokia like a Nokia like a
flip phone. There are specific There is a a website

(13:29):
called dumbphones dot org that has links to all the
different dumb phones you can buy that give you, you know,
GPS for your maps, texting only phone and like they'll
they'll allow you to put your banking apps on there.
And that's it. And apparently this is up twelve hundred
percent in the last two years.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
Next thing, you know, MTV spring Break is gonna come back.
Ten tho Maniacs are going to get back together.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
Dan Cortez, MTV Sports.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
Lilith Fair is gonna come back.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
It's just the idea that they're still posting hashtag analogy.
It seems kind of like, yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
That's like, here is a video of my off the
grid life.

Speaker 3 (14:12):
Check it out well and I'm counting the likes. Jerk,
are you off the grid or you just analog life?

Speaker 2 (14:19):
Halfway there?

Speaker 5 (14:20):
You know It's crazy is the girls this summer have
cameras and they have like film you get developed, you know,
they send it across the country to a spot at
North Carolina to get it developed, and then they send
it back to you. If you send it to like
CBS or Walgreens. They don't even do it in the
house anymore.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
They don't have said that. Robin Williams movie Super eight, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (14:41):
It was a super It was like a science fiction
alien movie.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
It's the one where he was a creepy photo mac
guy and he had pictures of everybody. Patch Adams, No,
not Patch Adams.

Speaker 5 (14:53):
It was one hour photos.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
Patch Adams was mentioned the other day. It was favorably.
You know, Death to Smoochie was an underrated Robin.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
I liked the Death of Mook. I saw that in
the theater. That was a good one. Give me that dinosaur.
Damn it, Ronnie.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
This is the song of the day. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (15:19):
Today's song of the day is called My Old School
from Steely Dan because we're going old school on an
I'm a Horse Modello Meet you a lot on Monday
where school is back in session. This weekend, the Petros
and Money Show is broadcasting live from the campus of
Great Sports Talk otherwise known as the Pinnacle Building in Burbank,

(15:39):
or a three hour lesson an AM Sports Radio is

baseball trying to solve the problem of losing eight of
the last nine games. As they're back home at Uniclow
Field at Dodger Stadium to host the Kansas City Royals

all will all begin with our good friends Tim Kats,

(16:00):
who's standing right here at prepping for your Marongo casino.
Dodgers on Deck show, it's coming up at six.

Speaker 3 (16:07):
You're running? No, No, what are we doing next?

Speaker 2 (16:13):
No ark film, No ar corner, Matt. I should have
held on to my BlackBerry? Should it never listen to me? Right?

Speaker 3 (16:21):
I don't have that? Yeah, I gotta take mine home.
My old BlackBerry is in the bullpen right now.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
We'll make sure you post a picture of it.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
Yeah, check it out. I'm living analog like repost chance
to win something.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Outside film, No Corner.

Speaker 4 (16:47):
Coming up next, the Gypsy.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
Petros Papadakis That money SNAr. This is Petro Send money

Speaker 3 (17:22):
Petro said money in seventy Ela Sports Live Everywhere on
the iHeartRadio app going until six o'clock. Dodgers on Deck

can meet two time World Series champ Austin Barnes and
La legend Sean Green starting at nine am, food games,

Barnes and Sean Green. Kate's gonna be out there and

(17:44):
broadcasting a special live Dodger Talk at NAM Fun starts
this Saturday, galpin Ford right off the four h five
at Roscoe Boulevard.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
And don't forget it's some Modello meets you a lot
of Monday on the Petro sand Money Show. It's not
a real meach if it's not made with Modello. A
reward for the people in the city with the fighting
spirit and the people beyond. Even if you live in Menafi,
Modello is there for you because it has the mark
of a fighter and a regal looking canned in the hand.

(18:18):
Some people take credit for their greatness. Some people say
they're the reason for Modello being number one. But we
in our hearts, in our kotos own, we know we
have the knowledge as to wear Modello's fish. Their pescado
is fried and it's right here in Great Sports Book.

(18:40):
Plus Yes me and Migo. You see him there on
your screen. You don't forget to podcast the show on
the iHeartRadio app. You can stream it live there, or
you can podcast it later. All right, it is August tenth.
Temperature check, the temperature is high. It's time for the
fish corner.

Speaker 5 (19:01):
PMS film Noir Corner.

Speaker 4 (19:03):
He'll be too sure.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
I'm as I'm supposed to me.

Speaker 4 (19:06):
I thought a reputation might be good business.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
Is again Petross because it is the dog days of
summer and Matt lives at the beach, bodybuilds and fights
coyotes in the sand.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
Real problem knows coyotes these days?

Speaker 2 (19:21):
You know, there's no doubt. Today we will celebrate a
great movie with a lot of nostalgia for me personally,
but a great film. Sam Elliott's breakthrough role as Rick Carlton,
which sounds a lot like Tim kats Off sports traffic Persona.

(19:42):
Doug Stevens nineteen seventy six is Lifeguard, serious movie Matt,
but was marketed as a fun, beach party type of movie. Okay,
what does it all mean? Matt life at the beach
and casual relationships, hooking up with stewardesses and secretaries. Free

(20:09):
life from the seventies.

Speaker 3 (20:12):
Yeah, now, I first want to sleep with the lifeguard.
You know that's a big thing. We come to California.
You hook up with the lifeguard.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
He is very close field, very close to my house.

Speaker 9 (20:23):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
He's knob Hill, Redondo Beach, He's Burnout Redondo Beach, He's
Torrance Beach. Absolutely fabulous scenes of the area that I
grew up and still live nineteen seventy six, seventies Redondo,
the days of Millie's seafood Grotto. Where's this movie been

(20:46):
all my life? Touch fight it somebody at the surf club.
Rickomended Lifeguard. I mean, Matt, you will love this movie.
It's really great. Makes me want to join the Junior
Guards with my daughter next summer. Elliott is a true
authentic one all times South Bay burnout in this movie.

(21:07):
His carpeted chest shines in the seventies Redondo like David
Vase when his Blake Snell strikes out a guy. That's
how vas face shines, just like this chest. And he's
got a sweet vet. Nineteen sixty nine Stingray converted him.

(21:28):
I loved this movie. I love Rinondo in the seventies.
I love the boobs and the butt, and Elliott wears
a sweet church Hill Fins t shirt. Ann Archer's character
is like his ex girlfriend from high school who wants
him to get like a real job.

Speaker 3 (21:45):
Yeah stuff, you know, hey, lifeguard is a real job,
all right, Anne, Well.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
That's a problem. You know. He's got a friend that's
hooking him up to sell porsches in the valley.

Speaker 3 (21:55):
Oh, it's great in the valley.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
In the valley, he drives all the way to the
valley to sell porsches and they're like, you know, can
you smell the money here? Come on Rick, And he's like,
I'll work at the beach and I saved lives. He
goes to his high school reunion and sees that there's
more accomplished people. But Matt, it's a trying to find

(22:17):
a plot here, like what do we well, he's got
there's well there's three plots going. Okay, there's the are
you going to stay at the beach or are you
going to uh intro is this in real life?

Speaker 3 (22:30):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (22:31):
At thirty two, you know you're still down at the
beach at thirty two? What are you doing, Parker Stevenson,
your partner are still in college at UCS.

Speaker 8 (22:38):
Me.

Speaker 2 (22:39):
Uh, there's a seventeen year old that he's hooking up with.
He's having sex with a little status action and he
doesn't know what to do about it. And then there's
Ann Archer, the ex girlfriend who's divorced with a kid
from from a from high school. What's he going to
do with all three of those things? What's Sam Elliot
going to do here? He is getting pressured by his
father while the mother's trying to change the subject. At

(23:02):
dinner in.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
The valley, Herank from shit Chat's a broather out.

Speaker 9 (23:06):
Last week. He's fine.

Speaker 5 (23:09):
He's working up at school doing some kind of research.
Says he's working real hard.

Speaker 9 (23:15):
One more year and he starts raking it in. Says
he'll have no problem starting somewhere around fifteen hundred a month.

Speaker 3 (23:21):
Eh, good, brother makes good.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
Money.

Speaker 9 (23:26):
Isn't everything, It's most things.

Speaker 4 (23:28):
Believe me.

Speaker 9 (23:29):
Don't ever put down financial security. I know what money
can do without. As you're lost dead, you know, let's
do is no recipe of Grandma's Okay, you put in
any away? You better start now. Things aren't getting any easier.

(23:52):
Everyone's sweating these days. I put in twenty three years
in the same place, and now I've got to worry
about being cut back. And the damn what this thing
of all is? If I get canned, they stand to
lose my pension twenty three years down the drain. It's
no fair, you said, the world's got to be fair.

Speaker 10 (24:10):
Anybody likes some ice cream on their pie?

Speaker 9 (24:14):
You're not a kid at the beach anymore.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
Oh, I'm doing what I want to do.

Speaker 9 (24:18):
Father, the little debbill, do you that's the problem right there?

Speaker 4 (24:22):
No discipline? You know, it's crazy.

Speaker 9 (24:25):
I still wonder what you're going to be when you
grow up.

Speaker 3 (24:29):
Oh God, God, how about that for a mom and
a wife? Hey, ice cream, little dab uh? We got
an argument at the table. How about pie and ice cream? Anybody?

Speaker 2 (24:39):
Money isn't everything? Yes, you would love this movie, Matt.
I'm surprised you never saw it. Lifeguard nineteen seventy six.

Speaker 10 (24:49):
Anybody likes some ice cream on their pie?

Speaker 2 (24:54):
Nineteen seventy six?

Speaker 4 (24:55):
Is Lifeguard?

Speaker 2 (24:57):
All right? Matt? Our second noir, this one also Close
to my Heart nineteen eighty seven, Back to the Beach,
a wacky sixty style beach comedy starring two beach people,
a net Foodicello and Frankie Avalon, and many others. Matt,

(25:20):
The cameos in this movie are almost embarrassing. They're so good.

Speaker 3 (25:23):
I think I saw this in the theater. If I
remember right, I did two.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
My father took me. It was ten, nineteen eighty seven.
This movie is a fun beach party in La. It's
kind of like every day for swoll Ass matt On
Seal Beach, just like that. Frankie Avalon has become an
update tight car salesman in Ohio. They have a punk,
leathered out son dressed like Freddie Mercury. They have Lori Laughlin,

(25:52):
the daughter who's living in sin with Connie Stephen's son
at a beach in La. I think it's a Malibu area.
There's a surf punk culture on the beach, Matt, I
think if you can remember that, sure, Like like they
have like rash guards with spikes and stuff, you know.

(26:14):
And I was a lot of La beaches in the eighties,
not up in Malibu, but I never really saw a
lot of it. David Bowie makes a cameo in this movie.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
Oh I don't remember that Bowie.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
Fishbone plays this song in this movie. Stevie ray Vaughan
cameo in this movie. Dick Dale in this movie, Kwee
Herman in this movie that I remember, and even more impressive,
Matt was the surf brand, cameos, heavy body glove, heavy
rip curl, Hawaiian Island Creations, Channel Islands, gotcha. It was

(26:51):
an inspiration to me. The flag like that was a
flag in her house. Multiple references to a net food
of Cello's giant glorious rack, which I, you know, appreciate it.
I enjoyed this movie, Matt, not as much as Lifeguard,
but I loved it. Annett and Frankie trying to make
each other jealous, reconnecting with the beach, and of course Matt.

(27:17):
There's only one way to end a movie like that,
and it's with a surf contest, like Batman versus the
Joker on the TV show with Caesa Romero. I'm surfingab
There's a giant wave like the fifty Year storm, but
this one is called the Humonga Calabunga from Boununda. Get

(27:39):
out to the beach, everybody, so you can watch Matt surf.
The end of the year is coming, so come on.
I loved Lifeguard, but this was also good. Here is
a Frankie Avalon and his son meeting up with a
big group of surf punks on the beach, and I
see this a lot, a lot of.

Speaker 10 (27:56):
Surf back in my day, a surfboard, a surfboard which
about nine feet long, weigh about fifty pounds.

Speaker 2 (28:07):
Not like this sissy job.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
That's a real man to handle one of those babies.

Speaker 7 (28:14):
I don't think the sport has.

Speaker 3 (28:15):
Become a little bit effeminine. That's you think.

Speaker 5 (28:20):
Just for the record, I have a wild different opinion.

Speaker 3 (28:25):
I like the kid.

Speaker 2 (28:27):
Wait, that means witting at all, doesn't it. I don't
like the guy with the hair helmet. Hair.

Speaker 4 (28:37):
Hair.

Speaker 3 (28:38):
You're talking about hair.

Speaker 10 (28:40):
You guys get your haircuts at the rail barber college.

Speaker 11 (28:49):
No, I bet puberty would have been great.

Speaker 2 (28:53):
You are on my beach.

Speaker 4 (28:57):
That's what that thing to mind?

Speaker 3 (29:01):
These are sins here, Hi said?

Speaker 8 (29:04):
God right, Hey listen, thanks babe, you guys have been great.

Speaker 3 (29:12):
We got to split mouth and thanks for showing us
your little toy. You're cute.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
Knock over all the surfboards.

Speaker 7 (29:21):
Thanks a lot.

Speaker 4 (29:23):
You know you really aware?

Speaker 10 (29:27):
Bye, I'm hi. Did you boys have a nice time?

Speaker 2 (29:31):
We met these really weird looking guards and they're really bad.

Speaker 5 (29:34):
Attitudes were incredibly rude and dangerous. They wanted to kill us.

Speaker 2 (29:38):
It was so cool. Well, as long as you had fun,
you know. Matt back when a movie could be fun
and not take itself too seriously, like Frankie and Annette
and are big Missiles?

Speaker 3 (29:51):
Got missiles like that? Everything else is just decide.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
You know, a young Lori Laughlin and a bikini is
not bad either, you know, and her fiance say in
a spring suit, rip curl color just like the lead singer,
a living color, colorful Matt. You don't know the hat,
although you know the one thing like they like show

(30:15):
the beach and they show guys like surfing, and they
show guys like skimboarding. They might even have a sponger.
But then they show a dude like doing tricks on
a wave on a jet ski and it's like, no, no,
that doesn't fit.

Speaker 3 (30:28):
That was nineteen eighty eighty. Yeah, make that lines up.

Speaker 2 (30:33):
We'll be back with more Petro Somebody on am FI
seventy LA Sports and we will have a secret text
so sol Rodeo round them.

Speaker 4 (30:41):
Yes, that's on the schedule.

Speaker 11 (30:42):
Next this is Petrol Money on Demand, Petro some Money,
Ham five seventy LA Sports Live everywhere on the iHeartRadio
appens and Modello Mecha on Monday.

Speaker 3 (31:00):
It has not to meet you. A lot of it
has not made with modello. That is a reward for
those with a fighting spirit. Modello the mark of a fighter.
We have got play by play all over the place
tonight Dodgers Royals. It is the Dodgers Stadium debut of
Tarek Skuble and Dodgers on Deck will start at six
p m. David vas Say will join us in about

(31:20):
thirty minutes from the stadium to set the scene.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
We're gonna set the scene and we might be mean
because the Dodgers aren't doing well. But between then and now,
let's do some reaction.

Speaker 10 (31:32):
Matte fine brought to you by your so call Toyota Dealers.

Speaker 3 (31:37):
We make it easy, Matt.

Speaker 2 (31:39):
This is a text so about our great event at
the Van's headquarters. A big thank you to Steve van
Dorn and our many sponsors and friends and mostly the
listeners for showing up and the people for working hard
and making it such a great event. This this person
text had a great hot dog, some strong vodka drinks,
washed down with a Carls Junior burger, despite being threatened

(32:02):
by a sixty year old man with three drinks covered
in free merch. It was great times. Thank you, sir.

Speaker 3 (32:10):
I think that sums it up. Sums up a summer
tour stop perfectly. Vodka drinks, hot dogs, sixty year olds
with a threatening disposition.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
Usually you have to buy your own vodka at the
BEJS or a place like that.

Speaker 3 (32:24):
Right the last summer tour stop, it's free Jen Silk
and tom Port for free Petrel.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
I'm going next week to the Mookie Bets pop up
to third base with bases loaded.

Speaker 3 (32:34):
Bobblehead Game Max Munsey Game seven, eighth inning cut the
lead to four to three. Bobblehead Night tonight at Dodger Stadium.
For those keeping score.

Speaker 2 (32:45):
It's special. We all think of this.

Speaker 3 (32:47):
It's four to two. Max Monsey hit. This home run
on the top of the eighth made it four to three,
setting up the tie game tying home run for Miguel
Rojas and the top of the ninth in the game winning.

Speaker 2 (32:59):
Every moment is etched in historic.

Speaker 3 (33:02):
Plastic Mookie Pets pop out the third base obast.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
Munsey's home run was the heart of that World Series.
Come pack, how dare you all months?

Speaker 5 (33:13):
He launches in the air, deep brightfield.

Speaker 4 (33:15):
This ball is gone.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
Off the ribbon inside the found that here in Toronto
we are within a run the Dodgers down four to three.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
And they used a flattering mold on that that body.

Speaker 3 (33:33):
I mean, it's getting you know, no sense in making
a portly bobble head.

Speaker 2 (33:37):
Would stop saying like he's dom della wise, how about
the Kyle Tucker bobblehead? Those are selling for ninety nine
cents at pick and say O.

Speaker 3 (33:54):
Love a pick and save reference.

Speaker 2 (33:56):
Here's an attack on you. No, no, what a joke
of a segment by watch how quick he changes his
tune tomorrow after the Dodgers tee off on Noah Cameron
and went ten to two tonight.

Speaker 3 (34:08):
That's right. That'll support my position, at least one half
of my position that they don't mail it in, that
they don't flip a ship on Brando's sick, that they
always finished with the top or second best record in
the league. They are not a whatever. Just let us
punch our ticket, will be the sixth seed and we're good.
Let's go.

Speaker 2 (34:28):
No, how much cocaine did Kate snort between before watching
Spider Man? I bet he thought the Hulk was chasing
him cocaine nerdcates.

Speaker 3 (34:39):
He did all the cocaine. That's how much cocaine he did.

Speaker 2 (34:42):
In Burdbank. That'd be hard. Five dollars, says Ronnie wore
a banana hammock.

Speaker 3 (34:48):
Well, I am in my backyard? Is my private areas?

Speaker 2 (34:51):
Should I use it?

Speaker 3 (34:53):
Ten lines? The secret text does a fine brought to
you by your so called Toyota dealers.

Speaker 5 (35:00):
We make it easy.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
Wow. I didn't think I had to worry about a
Spider Man spoiler fest during how was your Weekend? Somebody
didn't like that.

Speaker 3 (35:09):
No, they just figured, I assume they figured that nobody
from the Petro some Money show would go see Spider
Man whatever it's called after Spider Man Holiday Road, something
like that Spider Man Holiday Road.

Speaker 5 (35:24):
It was called far from All spider Man Brand New Day.

Speaker 2 (35:29):
Where's the fu mother for Robleski Game seven? Pobblehead? Right,
there could be one of those. There could be, he
yelled at them.

Speaker 3 (35:40):
That's exactly right.

Speaker 2 (35:43):
I would like maybe if there was a button and
some sound I would appreciate that as well. All right,
we'll be right back. We have another hour of great
sports talk. Thank you for listening, and we hope you're
having a fabulous day on this I'm a horse Monday,
I'm a wood
