Sunday ninety nine point one, Houston's holiday music station, The
Three Things you Need to Know to get your feel good.
Friday December nineteen started I'm Dana with producer Anthony. So
it could be a record breaking hot Christmas Day on Thursday,
sunny with a high eighty one. So the good news
is now, you know, if you've got some last minute
(00:24):
gift giving, get some shorts and t shirts and all
kinds of outdoor activities because that's where everyone will do.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
You might as well play some corn hole exactly.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
You could even cook your feet out, make it a cookout. Well,
if you're traveling, maybe you're leaving the hot to go
to the cold. So stressful it could be unless you
hear the soothing sounds of a saxophone.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
If you go to Hobby Airport Southwest Airline, you go
flementing he is surprising passengers with his impromptu performances of
Christmas carols as they board their flights. You go says
he's just a band nerd who never got rid of
his horn. Got it when he was a freshman, and
(01:05):
he took it to work one day, thinking he might
frighten people's days.
Speaker 3 (01:09):
And shout out to the bands. That's right.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
And we always talk about a home for the holidays. Heck,

through Operation Homefront's Permanent Homes for Veterans program. She is
(01:33):
a highly gifted servant who has had very many setbacks
with the health of one of her children herself, and
now she has stability and lots of Disney Princess decorations
and Spider Man for Madison, Madeline and Marshall. So they've
got their home for the holidays. Merry Christmas to the
Pierre family and your weather today, it's really a cool,

Producer Anthony Dane just wanted to shout out a really
nice guy in organization I met at an appearance a
few weeks back. His name is Wayne Bergeron. He's the
co founder and coordinator for Community Action Teams. It's a
volunteer nonprofit founded back in twenty ten. Their main mission
in Core Philosophy is a grassroots approach to keep our
school's neighborhoods safe and productive by engaging encouraging students to
(03:09):
get more involved with emergency prep and humanitarian outreach efforts.
They also insist in the pre and post distribution of water, clothing,
and food after emergency response situations. And I love that
their mission is to encourage kids to get involved in
these processes. It's true grassroots too. We were out with
the Sunny Crew Dane at Cricket Wireless and I met Wayne.
He was just walking around literally spreading the word about
his amazing groups. Super nice, great ambassador for this kind
(03:31):
of work. They take donations, always looking for volunteers. If
it's something you want to look into for your kids.
