over the weekend we learned the fife of World Cup.
Now we're six months away the thirty nine day tournament.
We got the schedule released over the weekend. The tournament

seven of them. First game is going to be June fourteenth,
the last game July fourth, So, man, is that going
to be exciting weather today, Chili, we're going to stay

cooler temperatures overnight. I was out doing my birpies this morning.
It was forty nine. Yeah, it's fifty now, but it's
going to only stay in the fifties today. Tomorrow we'll
start warming up, but today's high about fifty nine, and
so just enjoy it. It's Christmas y with the Christmas music.
You get your hot chocolate or coffee, put a little

Christmas music. That's what happened to us. We had so
much fun. Friday after the show, George Bush High School
students came by and we're talking fourteen, fifteen and six
years sixteen year olds wanted to tour the radio stations.
So they come into the Sunny studio and I'm looking
at that. You know, this is a really hard group

to get to kind of engage with. Can beer bored?
They want to go get to their phones, of course.
But then we started playing Christmas music, Anthony, they got
into the spirit of the holidays, ty right there. So
this is what happens when you have fourteen, fifteen and
sixteen year olds in the city's Houston holiday station studios

Some of them are so embarrassed. Others are totally loving

any of them are in the choir.

Yes, this was the true this was the test. And
because there's always some singers in the group, always some singers.
And there was one brave souldine.

And and what was his name? Dan Paul. He was
of me corner and he raised his hand. Actually I
didn't see him because he was over behind me to
my right. That's right. Kids in front of me are
pointing over to him, and I turn around and he's
kind of sheepishly raising his hand, and I said, are
you in the school choir? He goes, no, I'm in

the church choir. That's what it was. And I asked
him if he would sing us a Christmas song, and
well he had to get all ready. Now, Bert, he's
in a in a studio with strange DJs, all of
his classmates, and he was so courageous. Listen to him
getting ready for his big debut. It was amazing debut. Okay,

so you just let's do it. I do like a
little bit of like a reading exercise.

I saw this last night and I said, these are
such great answers. I'm all about buying myself a gift
or two or more. We will be reading Monsters Monday
morning at seven ten, and I just love your responses.
Marvin said, well, I wait for Christmas. I buy myself stuff.
All that that is some energy I love so good.

And uh, let's see, Donna, I always buy myself a
gift and put a tag to me from me. I mean,
you know what own it is, He says. My gift
is seeing my kids open up their gifts, A look

and perfume. My kids are fresh out of college, in college, married,

of them, so I just take care of myself. My

ones they give you nothing and you don't know what

are all about, yeah, I know what I like, I'm
getting it. I do it every year. I work hard

and I'm buying gifts for me for sure. And we've
got Ariel calling in from the hobby area. Ariel, what
about you? Do you ever take a detour and buy
gifts for you? Yes?

Absolutely, all the time.

I will tell all the time things that you've you've
been shopping for others and you pick up for yourself,
share it with us.

Oh my gosh, No, I'm a chappoholic. I literally just
bought myself a sweat set, like a like a two piece.

Oh yeah, yeah, but you but your intention was to
get gifts for your family members, right, Oh?
Speaker 3 (12:51):
Absolutely? By Christmas list is so long. I have a
big family.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
Yeah. So you go out and you're looking and then
you're like, oh my gosh, I have to get this
for myself. It's so hard, right, yes, yes, it is you.
How do you turn it off? How do you just
say no more, Aeriel? What do you do?
Speaker 3 (13:12):
My bank account is like no more aerial?
Speaker 1 (13:14):
Yes, bank account, you go as long as you can, right, Yes,
have you found any amazing deals on your own Christmas gifts.
So far this year, I really.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
Took advantage of Amazon's like prime, their prime early Black Friday,
and so that was awesome, you know the area.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
But then when people ask you what you want for Christmas,
you're kind of like, well, I just bought everything that
I needed, so I really don't need anything.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
Yes, that's true, But I do have an Elster that
it's like an app and you put all your wishes
on it and people can look at it.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
Wow, then they can just fly from there. And that's
on Amazon.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
You can put things from Amazon on there, but you
can also put things from like other website. You can
copy and paste curls and wow.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Yeah, it's like kind of like a Pinterest word for
Christmas gifts that you want this year. Correct.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
Then you could also do like a secret Santas on there.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
That's great. And what's it called again? Elster? Elster that's
how do you spell it? E L F S T
e R. That's so cool. I'm gonna have to check.
I love that thing. We hope you have a very
