She starts choking. She's turning purple. She's trying to like,
trying to get the meat dislodge. Her daughter's there to
help to no avail. Well, enter Lieutenant Jamal Martin. He
was having lunch with his friends. He comes up, puts
his arms around her, performs the Heimlich maneuver and saves
her life. He says, you know, I'm just following God's direction.

This historic Katie Rice Dryer Tower restoration facing a couple
of setbacks recently. Over the weekend, and a little bit earlier,
a group of teenagers have been breaking into this restoration
project and doing lots of damage. Stole two thousand dollars
in tools, They ruined a scaffolding that was there, very dangerous,

and Andrew Nirkaya says, and his dad they're remodeling this
as a gift to the community, turned it into a
they'd like to turn it into a museum, a shop,
a restaurant. They say it's very dangerous in there. Don't
go in, please, Katie. Police are now investigating those teens.

flood risk. We could have this is today and tomorrow
mainly to the north and east of US. Two to

She told of this unfortunate incident, saying that they've got
two hundred and twenty five tacos all made.

They're totally free. Well, the place was packed. Some ate
the tacos, others just stopped by to donate.

it really hurt. You put us in a bad spot
and without the community support, this could have a lot.

This tour is called the Normandy Tour, and it's going
to highlight the pivotal role the ship played in Operation Neptune.
It was a grueling battle in June of nineteen forty four.

growing up she has a single mom with four kids,
and she always tried to live her life and move
forward and is very inspiring all that. Wow.

What's like the best lesson you learned from mom? Other
obviously than perseverance.

Yeah, she just always said, you know, be kind and
treat everybody with respects and how you are to be treated.

Yeah, and how did you Was she an inspiration for

I mean I was always a big animal lover growing
up and as a kid, and she always pushed me to,

your dreams and you know, all your heart.
