that disturbance in the golf will produce some rain for us,
possibly strong rainfall this afternoon around four to five, but

(00:24):

actually it was a bad guy and a bad woman
who stole mail in sugar Land May this past May
and June.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
They are offering a one hundred thousand.

conviction of the pair. You can call them seven one, three,

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Your weather today. Like I said, We're gonna get some rain,
but not a tropical storm. Dexter clouds moving in. We've
got some heavy rains moving in this afternoon. Could see
some showers this morning, going up to eighty nine. Right now,
it's eighty one in Uptown and you're up to date
from Sunday ninety nine point one. Tell me something good
brought to us by our friends at Goodwill Houston. Well,

(01:27):
we currently have the Kurrville flood relief link up for
you at sunnyninety nine dot com. If you'd like to
help out financially. Is a great way to do it
provides a lot of flexibility. But I just found we've
got a live auction up there now as well. It's
incredible like Luke holmb signed guitar, SeaWorld San Antonio tickets,

(01:47):
tickets to the Weekend in concert, a flyover to Nashville
and tickets to the Opry, Runo Mars Guitar, What Jones
Brothers tickets, Shaboozy tickets. You can check it out right
now at Sunday ninety nine. Producer Anthony Dane.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
This is wild.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
There's a flood survivor from Ingram who's now trying to
give back to the RV park where he says the
owner saved his life. Michael Abner was at Blue Oak
RV Park and he says that owner Lorena Gehan and
her husband ran to every RV that they could in
their park on the morning of July fourth to alert
everyone the danger heading their way. She and her husband
helped save nearly every family on their campground day when
the flood came rushing at them. Well, now Michael is

(02:23):
back making frequent visits to check on Lorena and help
with whatever she needs to rebuild the campground. They've got electrical, plumbing,
sewer and ramps to fix back up, but Michael knows
it's the right thing to do. He says, she saved
my life and I'm going to now help her rebuild.
So thank you owner Lorena and her husband Angels saving
the lives of all those families on their campgrounds.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
That is incredible, and some people just want to use
their talents to give back to the people who are
just devastated by those Fourth of July floods.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
One eleven year old Cameron Balfour.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
She's from Leake City and she was at Kickapoo Camp
on July fourth. Her camp didn't flood, but she was
heartbroken to learn so many died at camp missed it
just twenty miles away. Well, she was desperate to help,
so she decided to sell homemade cookies and she is
going to donate it all to the flood relief efforts.

(03:13):
She spent time baking them at a friend's commercial kitchen,
seventeen batches of cookies on day one, a total of
twenty seven batches, more than one thousand cookies. She bagged
them up, added pretty pink bows, sold her Cameron's Cravings
for five dollars. She's raised almost three thousand dollars so
far and she's going to donate some of her money

(03:36):
to the Kurrville Pets Alive. And we've learned a lot
about them. They're an amazing organization. And for our feel
good stories each Weekday Mornings set a preset on the
new and improved iHeartRadio app to Sonny Natty nine point one,
