who crashed into that Deer Park pipeline valve, causing a
devastating blast and damaged homes in the area. He was
a fifty one year old Deer Park resident. His name

Jonathan McAvoy. His ex wife believes he could have been
having a seizure when that happened. He was off to Walmart,
never made it. He has been having the seizures periodically,
and he was the only fatality in that blast. Well,
a strike at the port happened overnight Houston, Brownsville all
the way up to Boston, and doc workers are looking

for higher pay, better health benefits. And we hope it's
resolved quickly because this is going to affect prices just
about everywhere, including the grocery stores. And if you want
something to look forward to this afternoon, it's going to
be crazy downtown Houston. Game one American League Wildcard Series

good news for Houston's Art Car Museum a brand new
home on the Orange Show Campus soon to be redeveloped campus.
They got a one point two to five million dollar

gift from the Paritas family to continue the museum, which
opened back in nineteen ninety eight at one hundred and
forty at one forty Heights Boulevard and Hareta. She's the
founder of the museum with her husband Jim Now She
passed in twenty twenty one. Jim passed last year, and
their heirs, specifically their son want to continue their legacy.

So it's going to be at the intersection of the
third Ward and East End on Monger Street when it opens.

And the opening date still to be determined.

But the family's so excited they get to continue their
family's legacy.

And the eighty eighth annual Ford Ben County Fair and
Rodeo is in full swing. Rides and concerts, family friendly activities.
It runs through October sixth, and the theme this year
defying Challenges, Raising Champions. The president, Alicia Casias, says, the

And my exam date is October fifteenth to December fifteenth,
so I have three months?

Oh my gosh, Come on, Roseanne? How are you going
to stay motivated and focused?

What's your statement?

I have well got that you need to you need
to get you need to like get a treat for
yourself if you accomplish this.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Yeah, I do. I do need to get a treat
for myself if I accomplish this, because it's it's something
I didn't thought I would have done, but I started
it in August and I'm down to one class. It's
not bad. You're doing it by God. Yeah that it
gives me goosebumps. Good for you.

I'm getting started.

Okay, you lost five in September. What's your strategy for October?

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Eat healthier, keep exercising and what.

What time of day do you exercise?

Because I've started on an exercise path as well. What
what's your strategy with exercise? Well, I'm not really like
a really super early, so I'll do it at night
when I get when I get home.

Excellent, excellent.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
And as far as eating healthier, because that's important, what
are your plans there?

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Just trying to eat more like.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
Fruits and vegetables and more from pine and just less
you know, jump food. Yeah, what's what's your junk food
of choice that you're trying to cut out?

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Oh my goodness, that's hard.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
Donuts and pizza. Listen, why do you do this, evet Yvonne?
Don't make it so stressful. Why don't you just cut
out pizza just for one month and see how that
works for you? Okay, all right, you do that. Just
no pizza, no pina, everything the same, you know, keep
exercising and eating healthy, but no pizza. And who knows,

maybe you'll be able to just drop the pizza habit.

You're right, it could happen.
