boiling mad. And later on Our Dirty Little Secret takes

are giving Democrats heartburn. And finally Gene Valerani talks about
what can heat up your bottom line. In our solution segment.
Speaker 6 (02:28):
But first.
Speaker 7 (02:30):
Copy splash Down, we see main shoots, cuts, n Alic,
Butch Sunny on behalf of SpaceX Welcome.
Speaker 5 (02:38):
Home, Butch Wilmore and Sunny Williams, test pilots of Boeing's
new Starliner capsule splashed down in the Gulf of America.
Gulf of America on Tuesday after being stranded in the
International Space Station for over nine months. Also returning to
Earth were American astronaut Nick Haig and Russian cosme not
(03:00):
Alexander Gorbanoff. The planned return capsule have been resent back
to Earth empty after experiencing a helium league among other
technical difficulties, unexpectedly straining the pilants on what should have
been an eight day mission. SpaceX took the lead on
the mission, working in conjunction with NASA to bring the
pilot's home. Elon Musk, the owner of SpaceX, had this
(03:21):
to say about the successful mission in an interview with
Sean Hannity.
Speaker 8 (03:26):
Well, I'm actually usually a little nervous about these returns
because there are some risks that something to go wrong.
But thanks to the excellent work of the SpaceX team
working with NASA, the aschronaorths are now safely home. And
so congratulations to the SpaceX NASA teams on excellent work,
and a huge note of appreciation to President Trump for
(03:50):
prioritizing and expanding their return.
Speaker 5 (03:52):
Elon Musk, who has been targeted by many far left
radicals in the recent weeks for his role in the
Trump administration, was also asked about the acts of terrorism
that it targeted his Tesla electric vehicle dealerships around the country.
Once a liberal media darling, now the Democrats have turned
on him, like spoiled children demanding a new toy from Daddy.
(04:13):
Only Elon's toy cars running on electricity. I wonder if
he's shocked by the liberal of patriot he's scene.
Speaker 8 (04:20):
Yeah, I mean, it's really come as quite a shock
to me that there's this level of really hatred and
violence from the left. I thought the left of the
Democrats were supposed to be the party of empathy, the
party of caring, and yet they're burning down cars, They're
fire bombing dealerships, they're firing bullets into dealerships, they're just
(04:45):
you know, smashing up Tesla's. Tesla is a peaceful company.
We've never done anything hopeful. I've never done anythingwful. I've
only done productive things. So I think we just have
a deranged there's some kind of mental illness thing going
on here, because this doesn't make any sense.
Speaker 5 (05:03):
But I thought the Party of Empathy was full of
liberals that only engage in mostly peaceful demonstrations. Ashley Allison,
former White House staffer under Obama, raised a good question
on CNN. I mean, we don't really know if it's
Democrats or Republicans doing this. Rioting right, violence is what
(05:24):
you do to make your point.
Speaker 7 (05:25):
I've said that around January sixth, I've said on protest.
Speaker 5 (05:29):
And I'll say it here. Do I agree what Elon.
Speaker 7 (05:31):
Musk is doing with dog No, but what I would
encourage people? And I don't even know if the folks
who are doing the vandalism are actual Democrats or Republicans.
Speaker 5 (05:41):
But they're Oh, okay, that makes sense because you know,
Republicans who just won an election are just so motivated
to go out and firebomb the property of the guy
they've got a three to one favorable opinion of compared
to say Democrats who give him an eighty five percent
disapproval rating. Yeah, that match checks out.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
Trust me.
Speaker 5 (06:00):
If Republicans were promoting mass violence against a company they
didn't like, you'd see the FBI rating homes in the
dark of night. Scott Jennings criticized Dallason's comments.
Speaker 9 (06:11):
So doubtful it's Republicans attacking Tesla dealerships around the country.
It's pretty wild. Actually, the other night, Donald Trump said
these are domestic terrorists. Everybody laughed about it and scoffed
at it. That video looks like terrorism to me. I mean,
it's obviously an organized, coordinated effort. However, people are communicating
with each other to do this to people around the
(06:34):
country who chose to buy a Tesla at some point
in the past, many of whom I'm sure were Democrats
who bought them in the first place, all because their
entire political worldview is ruled by their emotions. And that's
the American left right now. It is one angry mob
after another willing to take things into their own hands,
(06:54):
up to and including king fire bombing and otherwise vandalizing
cars in car dealership and charging stations.
Speaker 5 (07:01):
It's outrageous. It is terrorism.
Speaker 9 (07:04):
People ought to be put in shape and left there
for a very long time to be taught a lesson.
Speaker 5 (07:09):
But what lessons are Democrats even capable of learning at
this point? After all, the November legend didn't teach them
a dang thing. Listen to California governor and featured Democratic
presidential candidate Gavin Newsom talking with failed vice presidential candidate
Tim Walls. Apparently they still think identity politics are more
important than actual substance.
Speaker 10 (07:31):
Have they figured it out that the identity piece of
this is more important than the actual substance, by.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
Well, they've been doing it for decads.
Speaker 11 (07:37):
I mean, we've saw the welfare Queen's they've seen the
Southern strategy.
Speaker 5 (07:41):
We've seen it over and over.
Speaker 11 (07:42):
It's an old playbook, and we're as dumb as we
want to be that we allow them to do this
with CRT and ESG, DEI and every three letter word. Yeah,
demonize and they weaponize grievance. They other people, They talk
down to people, past people, they humiliate people, They weaponized
difficult issues.
Speaker 5 (07:58):
Weapon has in grievance. Isn't that precisely that he and
Tim Wallas are talking about right there? Tesla, which is
trading got over four hundred and twenty dollars a share
when Trump took office two months ago, has seen its
value cut nearly in half since then. I felt that
if this was a company George Soros had a vested
interest in, the Democrats be singing you a very different tune. Clearly,
(08:20):
this all stems from one thing. Elon Musk has been
so successful at rooting out government corruption that the Empire
has decided to strike back. Democratic protesters are nothing if
not coordinated. Just take a look at the cities where
all this domestic terrorism has occurred Seattle, Chicago, Portland, Boston, Denver,
Los Angeles, Kansas City, Las Vegas, hot beds of left
(08:44):
wing ideology, all of them. I guess when you take
away people's fraudulent money, people get upset. Don't be elon.
Speaker 8 (08:53):
Yeah, it turns out when you take away people's, you
know what, the money they're receiving fordulately, they get very
upset and they they basically want to kill me because
I'm stopping their foot.
Speaker 5 (09:07):
Democrats are running scared right now because they've been living
off the government teat all these years, and the money
is about to dry up after the break. Chuck Schumer's
in hot water after voting with Republicans to keep the
government open. I'm Jeff Lewis, and you're listening to That's

So last week, House Republicans were able to pass a
budget resolution, a bill that Democrats had promised to phillips
into Senate. Here was Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer just
a week ago.
Speaker 10 (14:06):
Funding the government should be a bipartisan effort, but Republicans
chose a partisan path, drafting their continuing resolution without any input,
any input from Congressional Democrats. Because of that, Republicans do
not have the votes in the Senate to invoke cloture
(14:27):
on the House cr.
Speaker 5 (14:28):
Okay, So I guess that's that. I mean the Republicans
only hold fifty three seats and it takes sixty senators
to advance the bill to a vote. So guess that
bill is dead on our right? What's this shimmer? Did?
Speaker 15 (14:41):
What?
Speaker 5 (14:42):
I think there is a deep sense of outrage and betrayal.
Speaker 15 (14:45):
And this is not just about progressive Democrats.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
This is across the board, the entire party.
Speaker 5 (14:50):
Frankly, I do have a very difficult time finding why
any Democratic colleague of mine would vote yes on this.
I think that this moment we have to stand up.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
And f Congress has a job to do.
Speaker 9 (15:01):
We swore an oath uphold the Constitution not to surrender
or the one constitutional powers to the executive.
Speaker 10 (15:07):
But I believe allowing Donald Trump to take even more,
even much more power via a government shutdown is a
far worse option. Therefore, I will vote to keep the
government open and not shut it down.
Speaker 5 (15:25):
Okay, well, if that makes sense. Good to see the
Democrats are being bipartisan for a change. I mean, after all,
it's actually in the best interest that the party of
the government to make sure the government remains open. Democrats
should be thrilled. Right, there are people in your.
Speaker 13 (15:40):
Own party that were saying, look, it's time for you
to go.
Speaker 8 (15:42):
They're no longer trust your leadership.
Speaker 13 (15:44):
They want somebody else in there.
Speaker 5 (15:45):
What do you say about that? Is what I say
in your own party saying that's to go.
Speaker 10 (15:49):
Here's what I'm saying. I'm the best leader for the Senate.
Speaker 15 (15:51):
I think you caved. I think you and nine other
Democrats cave.
Speaker 13 (15:55):
I don't think you showed the fight.
Speaker 5 (15:56):
Ooh maybe not. Sounds like at least ticked off CBS
News along with the ladies on the view. But surely
it's not as bad as all that. The Democratic base
is smart. They'll see that Schumer was just making a
sadly leadership move. Live to fight another day.
Speaker 11 (16:14):
Maybe.
Speaker 10 (16:14):
Look, the bottom line is there were a whole lot
of Democrats who were torn, and they, on the one hand,
people were clamoring do something, now, do something now? Now
do we have to act? Do we have to fight
these Republicans, this right wing group, not not all Republicans,
every step of the way, but do it in the
(16:35):
smartest way possible. If you're fighting them and then you
end up in this shutdown, let me tell you something.
If we ended up a shutdown three weeks from now,
people would come to me and they'd say, they just
cut off my Medicaid, they just got rid of my
veterans' benefits. Stop it. And I say we can't, we're
in a shutdown. And then they'd say to me, why
did you let the shutdown happen.
Speaker 5 (16:57):
So basically Schumer did the best he could with the
hand and he was dealt. I mean, it's not like
this was a national emergency, some kind of five alarm fire,
is it? This is terror?
Speaker 15 (17:08):
How could you not be fighting here? And I could
not agree.
Speaker 13 (17:11):
More with Fez about this.
Speaker 15 (17:13):
This is not an ideological spectrum thing. It is perhaps generational,
but that's not age based, right, because you have people
like Bernie and Tim Walls and Elizabeth Warren who I
think are out there really fighting. But you do have
an entirely different stance about what it means to lead,
what it means to oppose. Is it fight or is
it working with fundamentally, you know, an enemy regime that
(17:36):
wants to install a king and unelected officials to cut
your rights.
Speaker 5 (17:40):
My bad, I guess I didn't thoroughly appreciate the urgency here.
But come on, y'all are seriously overreacting. Chuck Schumer and
House Minority Leader Keem Jeffries, they have a plan. Relax.
Speaker 10 (17:52):
You'll see at the basic premise that we are going
a from on and now, Kakim and I are working
on this very closely together. We don't live too far
away from each other we met in Brooklyn on Sunday.
Is that Trump is taking things away from the middle class,
from you to pay for tax cuts for the rich.
(18:14):
And we have so many different areas to go after
him on, and we're already bringing his numbers down. We'll
keep bringing him down more and more and more. If
you know, six months from now his numbers are really low,
he'll have not only less popularity, he'll have less authority.
That's our job.
Speaker 5 (18:32):
Hmm. I don't know about this. Trump's approval remains as
high as it's ever been, but as John Stewart tells us,
at least the Democrats are posting competitive numbers, just as NBC.
Speaker 15 (18:44):
Ehating poll numbers for Democrats. Only twenty seven percent of
voters have a positive view of the party, the lowest
favorability rating.
Speaker 8 (18:51):
In the history of NBC's polling.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
You're at twenty five. You've got to get Trump to lose.
Speaker 12 (19:00):
There was eight points of popularity just for you to
get to the point.
Speaker 14 (19:04):
Where you're thirteen points below him.
Speaker 12 (19:08):
Your approval is only seven points above where it turns
red and goes into low power mode.
Speaker 5 (19:14):
Okay, So look, maybe trying to compete with Trump's popularity
is a bad idea. He won the popular vote for
crying out loud. What do you expect Schumer to do.
He's in the minority. He's got to make deals somehow.
That means you got to talk to the opposition. I mean,
how do you think these things get done? You think
he just walks up to Republicans and I don't know
the gym and just chats him up.
Speaker 10 (19:36):
I talked to them one of the places I told
him of going the gym. You know, when you're on
that bike in your shorts, panting away next to a Republican,
why do the inhibitions come off.
Speaker 7 (19:47):
You.
Speaker 5 (19:48):
I mean, I've heard government referred to as sausage making,
but I really had no idea. He Well, thanks to
Chucky in his lack of inaibitions, America now has a
budg for the year. At least. The Democrats are finally
getting somewhere right.
Speaker 9 (20:06):
But I have to tell you something, peddling really hard
and not going anywhere.
Speaker 11 (20:11):
It's a great metaphor for the Democratic Party right now.

you're local here in Southeast Texas at four zero nine

recent article and the liberal Patriot Immigration isn't the only
big problem democrats are facing. What about domestic migration?
Speaker 1 (23:34):
Here's the big problem. Yeah, domestic migration.
Speaker 5 (23:38):
Do you know what that is?
Speaker 16 (23:39):
Is people moving from one place to another. Yes, but
they bring He's right, But what they're bringing their bad
ideas with them.
Speaker 5 (23:54):
So we've all seen the Facebook memes, stuff like don't
California my Texas just because we're assuming it's liberal voters
moving out of blue states. But that's apparently not the case.
And that's this week's dirty little secret. We're learning that
it's more likely that we're seeing dissatisfied Republicans and independence
resettling in states with more conservative friendly policies. Now, ideologically,
(24:20):
a California Republican is probably closer in line with a
Texas swing voter than a Texas Conservative, but the last
election results don't lie. Both Texas and Florida voted about
eight points more Republican last year compared to twenty twenty.
That's partly because of a national swing of about six
points towards the GOP, but the remainder can be explained
(24:41):
by the migration of people fed up with liberal policies
in states unwilling to change course. We've got some updated
census data this week that shows the exodus from blue
states to red states is not just continuing, is intensifying.
Based on the trend from the first half of this decade,
both Texas and Florida stand to gain four congressional seats
(25:03):
a peace after the twenty thirty reapportionment. So who are
the big losers California, which stands to lose three or
four seats, New York, which would lose two, as well
as a seed a piece out of Illinois, Oregon, Rhode Island, Minnesota,
and the battleground states of Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. In addition
(25:25):
to the games by Texas and Florida, all the other
gainers are also geopre friendly states. Idaho, Utah, and Arizona
each pick up a seat, and should California lose that
fourth seat, that one would go to battleground North Carolina.
So what's the political impact of all of this? Well,
(25:46):
for starters, let's revisit the electoral map. President Trump be
Kamala Harris by a score of three twelve to two
twenty six, which, by the way, I predicted with one
hundred percent accuracy in case you forgot but If we
have the same state results in twenty thirty two with
this new reapportionment, the Republican would win three twenty two
to two sixteen. The population shift is literally worth one
(26:10):
battleground state. That's ten electoral votes, flipping the current value
of Minnesota or Wisconsin or Colorado. Last cycle, Harris could
have won the presidency by sweeping the Blue brawl, or
as I like to call it now, the big beautiful
red Wall. But in twenty thirty two this won't be possible.
(26:31):
The Democrats will have to win in the southern state
and sweep the entire Midwest in order to get to
two hundred sixty electoral votes. Now, we've got another election
to go through before this happens, and there's no telling
who's going to win the presidency in twenty eight. Obviously, JD.
Vance is the clear front runner to succeed Donald Trump
on the Republican ticket, and on the Democratic side there
(26:53):
is a huge push for Gavin Newsom. But let's say
Vance does win in twenty eight, he would then be
running for re election on a map where he could
lose the entire Midwestern battlegrounds Wisconsin, Michigan, and even Pennsylvania
and still win even dropping Nevada. All events would need
to do is hold the southern tier of battleground states Arizona, Georgia,
(27:14):
and North Carolina. Now, let's say by then democratic shifts
in the metropolitan areas of the South cost Republicans one
of those states. A loss there could still be offset
by a win in Michigan or Pennsylvania. Or alternatively, if
the GOP lost to Arizona, that could be made up
for by win in Minnesota or Wisconsin, adding to Vada
(27:36):
back in you could combine Minnesota and Wisconsin the even
offset loss in Georgia or North Carolina. And remember, the
Upper Midwest is trending more and more Republican, and depending
on what happens in the meantime, as we got a
hint of in twenty twenty four, even Virginia and New
Jersey may be back in play for Republicans by the
(27:57):
end of this next decade. So suffice to say, the
shift in demographics is a major threat to the Democratic
Party's electoral viability in presidential elections. But what about in Congress.
I mean, it won't impact the Senate at all, but
it will definitely pose some issues for Democrats in the House.
We'll have two more congressional elections before this happens, not one,
(28:19):
and plus Jerry Manning will also significantly impact these numbers.
But you're probably looking at at least ten or more
Democratic seats that move into Republican controlled states. That's a
massive shift when you're talking about taking back a House majority.
So if you've moved into our area recently from California
or New York, here's some advice from the man the
(28:42):
legend Tyrus.
Speaker 17 (28:44):
Don't act brand new, Act like you're supposed to be there,
and just it's okay for uncomfortable silences when two guys
get in their trucks going to work.
Speaker 10 (28:51):
It's fine.
Speaker 17 (28:52):

act like you owned the plays.
Speaker 5 (29:09):
One And speaking of sports, this week started March Madness,
with second round games getting underway this weekend. Now, we
know you trust us to always offer expert device, so
I asked everybody in the office to share their picks.
So far, Gene has Duke, John has Oh, look at
this Houston Cougar's. He's got Uston Cougar's winning it all.
(29:31):
And you guessed that there is a who's your time?
He's from Indiana and coach Calvin Samson was the coach
at Indian University about twenty years ago. So for me,
I've got Florida. I have no doubt that the SEC
is the most the very toughest conference this year, and
from my final four, I'm taking Auburn Florida Tennessee to
(29:52):
go with Duke. I'm hoping for Auburn, got some missionary
friends that would love to see them win it. But
to me, Auburn's two inconsistent against good teams. They've got
losses against everyone else I have in the final four,
including a loss at home to FORDA by nine. So
I've got Florida and Duke in the final. It's hard
for me to bet against Duke, but I think Cooper
(30:13):
Flag's angle injury poses a problem. Meanwhile, Florida's won thirty games,
They've only finished about a game back of Auburn and
the regular season and won the SEC tournament. Gater defense
is just that good, and I think they're gonna beat
Duke seventy four to seventy one, So stay tuned. Gene
Valerani is back with this week's Solutions segment. I'm Jeff Lewis,
(30:35):

solution that we offer on this program. This is Gene
Balerani Reporting and I want you to listen to me
very carefully. If you're looking for the highest guaranteed returns
on your savings, I have the answer for you, and
(33:31):
it's available to you at Asset Growth Associates, where we
issue principal protection plans. Plans index to the financial markets,
earning both market link returns and fixed interest, and you
can do it without ever incurring market risk. These unique
(33:55):
plans are issued by large insurance company and they're required
The insurance companies are required to set aside one dollar
for every one dollar invested. Banks fail occasionally, you know that,
and the reason that happens is because they take in
(34:17):
one dollar and then they make ten dollars in loans
that can go bad. Plans issued by insurance companies do
not do this. Every dollar taken in is set aside.
Fixed indexed plans are designed to grow over time and
(34:41):
pay out guaranteed returns for life or longer to contract
owners or their name to beneficiaries and listen to me.
They bypass probate. But Asset growthosso skits. We've been selling
such plans and have been providing both growth and income
(35:01):
drawer clients for decades now, setting money aside for future
use and earning returns that grow your accounts in a safe,
sure way to plan for the future, whether it's for
retirement or just accumulating money. We do it all at

rebound as he moves through the presidential cycle. But at
Asset Growth Associates, we're located right here in Southeast Texas.

provide for their clients. Listen to me very carefully. Optimism
is everywhere right now, and expectations are high for investors
to grow their accounts and do it safely without losing gains.
And when it's done through principal protection accounts, there's never
(36:25):

Wall Street. These specialized plans are designed to grow over
time and not only preserve an estach, but grow an
