We're just trying to turn anchel in do a dime.
That's the bottom line.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
Welcome to real, honest talk about money, politics, news and information.
Speaker 4 (01:20):
You can actually use it.
Speaker 5 (01:21):
Buckle up and hold on tight.
Speaker 6 (01:24):
This is.
Speaker 5 (01:24):
That's the bottom line. The best thing the life up.
Speaker 7 (01:33):
But you can give them.
Speaker 8 (01:34):
To the bath and bed morning, everybody, this is that's
the bottom line.
Speaker 9 (01:50):
I'm your host, Jeff Lewis' Asset Growth Associates, along with
Jean Valerani. Thanks for staking part of your weekend with
us our top line store Wory. The Epstein files are
back in the news, and this week Congress voted near
unanius fly, which is news in and of itself, to.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
Release the files.
Speaker 9 (02:10):
That brings up a constitutional question we probably don't have
time to discuss this week, but the heart at the
argument is this, at this point, does the public have
a need to know about who and what was involved
in the entanglements involving the pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and its
girlfriend Gallae Maxwell, And does that outweigh the privacy of
(02:30):
people's personal information go a linked to the disgraced duo
and those without any real male intent that would be
unnecessarily tarnished.
Speaker 4 (02:40):
We discussed this issue at length four.
Speaker 9 (02:42):
Months ago, and at the time I was at least
respectful of the latter argument. Some confidential information should remain confidential,
and I get that. However, I think we're past that
point now, and it's time for the good of the
country to get some answers. This is one area where
I've split personally with the isn't it on, or at
least had before Trump reversed his position back to what
(03:04):
it used to be, which is full transparency. Last time
we talked about this, I played this interview for you
two months before he was assassinated. Charlie Kirk sat down
with Megan Kelly and they discussed why this is such
a critical issue for those of us on the right.
I'm going to play this for you again.
Speaker 4 (03:20):
It's about transparency.
Speaker 6 (03:22):
One of the main reasons that we voted Trump in
was because we wanted real answers on real stories, and
we didn't want to be bsd anymore with a bunch
of nonsense from our government that treated us like a
bunch of stooges.
Speaker 10 (03:32):
Okay, so, but a thousand victims, unless we are to
believe he personally was after every one of those victims,
there has to be some other bad guys still alive
that are powerful that did something to these children. Why
are we not in paneling a special prosecutor to find
every single one of these powerful people that went after
these kids, like, what why are we putting up with this?
Speaker 9 (03:51):
So it's about two really important concepts. The first is
about the government being honest with the people. The second
is about exposing these file people for who they are.
I've got a twelve year old daughter, and I'll be
damned if I'm cool with just letting the most powerful
and influential amongus pray upon our kids, like it's some
kind of noble right, It's like prim and Noctor some
(04:13):
other feudal crap. So, yeah, there's a lot of our
things I'd rather be focused on, but this issue freaking matters.
Donald Trump campaigned on this, so what caused him to
flip on it and then flip back again to support
the releasing at the files? But Sexton gave a good
insight into Trump's thinking to Megan Kelly on Wednesday.
Speaker 11 (04:33):
He does not like to be told what to do.
And I know that sounds very basic, and what does
that have to do with this?
Speaker 4 (04:40):
He didn't want these released.
Speaker 11 (04:42):
And the fact that the bass is effectively demanding in
the Trump bass and I know this because of my
radio show. I hear from them every day, the Trump
basse is demanding Epstein file transparency, so he doesn't like
to be feeling.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
Like he's overruled.
Speaker 11 (04:57):
So I think there's just a stubborness, quite honestly, with this.
And then I I think from Trump, and I think
that there's a which has been overcome, and I think
that there's a frustration from Trump as well that now
here we go again, you know, the you know he's
gonna be like the fake news ABCS, CBS, you know
they're saying that, Like I'm involved in this. We've already
been over this, We've talked about it a million times.
(05:17):
I mean the timing of this from the House Democrats
releasing some of it right when the shutdown turned into
a giant.
Speaker 12 (05:25):
Belly flop of epic.
Speaker 4 (05:26):
Proportions for them, that was obvious, and he was.
Speaker 11 (05:29):
Right to call that out, Megan. So I don't I
am absolutely confident that there's nothing in there that is
truly derogatory about Donald Trump. There might be some things
that people can insinuate, and they will, but I don't
think there's anything that's truly derogatory or I should say,
shows culpability of any kind. And I think that he's
(05:52):
just frustrated with all the stuff around this. I will
see the administration made some big mess ups here, and
not Trump, some of the people that work for him. Yeah,
they screwed up on that, they just did, and we
have to be honest about that.
Speaker 4 (06:05):
Yeah. I think that's a pretty fair analysis.
Speaker 9 (06:07):
I'm willing to give the ministration to benefit of the
doubt as far as the motives go. Sexton is right
that Trump's worried that the media will spin this whole
thing as a hit on him, and he's right to
worry because the media has already shown the willingness to
manufacture complete falsehoods to damage Trump politically.
Speaker 4 (06:24):
I mean, hello, we saw his entire first time term
live and in color.
Speaker 9 (06:29):
There's other innocent people that could be unfairly damaged by
the fallout from the release of these files as well.
We talked before about what happened to Alan Bershowitz, and
it's important that we respect due process of law.
Speaker 4 (06:41):
But as Phil Wegman points out here.
Speaker 13 (06:44):
Well, I mean think that there certainly is something to
be said about setting good precedent and following due process.
But the thing about us slippery slope here is, I mean,
how many more billionaire sex pur perverts with you private
islands are we expecting in the few. I mean, this
is sort of a hopefully once in a generation event.
(07:06):
Hopefully there's not more folks waiting in the wings. But yeah,
I think that the White House has sort of, you know,
in this last turning, switched on this and said, well,
look at all of these Democrats who are in the
Epstein files.
Speaker 9 (07:20):
And there, I think is what finally convinced Trump that
it's politically intelligent for him to back releasing these files
other than a near unanimous vote in both the houses Senate.
But as we heard butt Sex them point out before,
there's simply nothing in the files to fuel the kind
of conspiracy theories from the left that the President is
worried about. Instead, it appears there are plenty of connections
(07:44):
between Epstein and many prominent Democrats, enough to make Democrats
which they'd never opened her mouth about this, and it's
already the gun speaker want to be. Hakeem Jeffries is
linked this listening funds from Epstein and Stacy Plaskett, the
Democratic can growtional delegate from the Virgin Islands.
Speaker 4 (08:02):
There's a spot for you.
Speaker 9 (08:03):
Narrowly avoided how censored this week when it was revealed
that she was relying on him for political advice well
after he was convicted as.
Speaker 4 (08:11):
A sex spender. There's good advice for you.
Speaker 9 (08:13):
Li's on how she tries to defend herself the Bliter
and Brown on CNN.
Speaker 8 (08:18):
What was your relationship with Epstein?
Speaker 6 (08:20):
So, Jeffrey Epstein was a constituent. He was a resident
of the Virgin Islands, lived there, I guess more than
half of the year because he was registered there. I
had received donations from him. After the last investigation came out,
which was after this texting, I gave any donations that
(08:40):
I previously received from him to women's organizations and did
not have any contact with him. But like many constituents,
individuals get your phone number, they text you about issues,
they speak with you. I have spoken with him about
issues that are relevant, things that are going on in
the Virgin Islands and elsewhere around the true right.
Speaker 14 (09:00):
But on that day that we're talking about, you initiated
the tax exchange at seven fifty five in the morning.
So why were you even texting with Epstein at the
time he was a known sex offender.
Speaker 9 (09:11):
Then, yeah, because I just randomly started texting people I'm
not close to before eight and a freaking morning for
the political advice.
Speaker 4 (09:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (09:18):
Meanwhile, it seems that Trump was deeply involved with that
scene's operational right. Apparently the president may have been the
one who turned the bastard into the police in the
first place.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
Well, I think Jeffrey Epstein is referring to the fact
that he believes that Donald Trump talked to Michael Ryder,
who was the Palm Beach police chief in two thousand
and four and began the first investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.
I suspect that Jeffrey Epstein in his conversation where email
(09:49):
with Maxwell, was saying he was seventy five percent there
believing that Trump might have been the whistleblower at the time.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
Where's trying to turn a back unto a dime. That's
the bottom line.

Turn a nickel into what time. That's the bottom line.
Speaker 7 (13:54):
Can even the world.
Speaker 4 (14:07):
We're back when that's the bottom line.
Speaker 9 (14:09):
I'm Jeff Lewis this week at three judge panel for
the Fifth Circuit Court throughout the Texas redistioning map on
the grounds that was racially disparate.
Speaker 4 (14:19):
If this ruling tolls, then.
Speaker 9 (14:20):
Democrats are almost a lock to retake the House after
California's new maps promised to Jerrymander away five more Republican seats,
and they might win the House anyway, even if the
Texas legislature gets their way. That's what's at stake, as
this case inevitably seems headed to the Spring Court. Here's
how it will work. Most federal lawsuits which are ruled
(14:42):
upon by a single federal district court judge, are then
appealed to the regional Circuit Court of Appeals, whose ruling
may be challenged the Spring Court, where the case will
most likely be rejected but is heard. If Scotis Grant's
sertriary redishcting cases have a different path. Initially ruled upon
by a three judge panel comprised of two District court
(15:04):
justices and a Circuit Court judge. The ruling is then
appealable directly to the Supreme Court, which is required to
rule on the case, whether it simply affirms or rejects
the case or actually hears arguments. So this case is
guaranteed to hit the Supreme Court. First off, Scotus has
the ability to issue a stay on the panel's ruling,
(15:25):
which I fully expect to happen here. This would allow
the Texas maps to move forward and get the Supreme
Court time to adjudicate the case. The root of the
problem for Texas Republicans is that there's a letter from
the Justice Department that seems to violate federal election law.
Rcp's Tom Bevin explains.
Speaker 12 (15:44):
The problem with the Texas case as I understand it
is that it was really the Justice Department they wrote
this letter and basically urging the Texas legislature to do
this in the these districts and basically stated that they
were going to they should use race as one of
(16:07):
the components. And so they went ahead and did that.
But that's what the court is relying on to really
throw this case out, or try or try to throw
this case out.
Speaker 9 (16:16):
So that's the basis for the Democratic argument. Federal election
law prohibits cherrymandering to de loot racial representation, while it
allows jerrymandering to increase racial representation.
Speaker 4 (16:28):
More on that in a bit.
Speaker 9 (16:30):
It's perfectly legal to jerrymander on a partisan basis, and
that's what Texas Republicans were trying to do. But this
letter from the Justice Department undermines that. So if the
GOP wants to win this case on the merits of
existing law, they're going to have to show that race
wasn't their motive here, that this Justice Department letter wasn't
factored to their decision for how they read you the maps.
(16:52):
That's a legitimate position to hold, and I think that
argument prevails. The legislature made it clear, however, they were
drawing the maps to reflect Republican gains among Hispanic voters.
Speaker 4 (17:04):
In other words, they were.
Speaker 9 (17:05):
Actually increasing the influence of brown voters, not decreasing the
influence of black voters. This notion that the GOP was
simply acting on racial motivations to redo the maps is
absurd letter or no letter, And as Carl Cannon points out,
no one really believes that.
Speaker 13 (17:22):
Andy.
Speaker 16 (17:22):
You said, you know, you can't cherry mender for racial purposes.
That's centimespitial. Well, you can if you're helping minority representation.
You can't do it to diminish or dilute minority political
power of voting. It comes out of the Voting Rights Act.
But we've gone way beyond that the tech Nobody really
thinks the Texas case was motivated by racial animals. They
(17:44):
think it was motivated by a desire to squeeze more
Republican seats for partisan purposes.
Speaker 9 (17:50):
The problem is that we're up against a mid December deadline,
so Scotus would have to move quickly. And that's why
I believe a state is coming. And for another reason
as well, because the Supreme Court will be ruling on
another case coming out of this circuit, Louisiana versus Callous,
which challenges the very premise of using race as a
criterion for determining district lines. To begin with, Here, the
(18:14):
state drop a second minority majority district, which Republicans argue
is inherently racially motivated, and that racial motivation of any
kind is unacceptable when creating congressional districts. In short, Democrats
have been hiding behind the argument of discrimination to gain
a political advantage. It comes down to a dispute between
(18:36):
the implications of the Voting Rights Act of nineteen sixty five,
which allows for the creation of these districts, and the
Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment, which would seemingly
prevent the selective enforcement of laws based on race. The
fact that the Supreme Court heard a second round of
arguments in this case last month indicates we may be
(18:56):
on the verge of a landmark ruling. The Governor of Louisiana,
Jeff Landry, seems to think so in this conversation with
Rod Smith on Newsmax.
Speaker 17 (19:04):
Very seldom have I seen the Court spend that amount
of time on a case. And when they normally do that,
that means they're getting ready to make.
Speaker 5 (19:11):
A big change in their rulings.
Speaker 17 (19:15):
And so again, based upon that, and what this is
is this is a twenty year struggle that states have
been because we're caught between this legal game of ping
pong between the Voting Rights Act and the Equal Protection
clause of the US Constitution, And I continue to just
quote Justice Roberts in one of his opinions where he says,
(19:35):
the best way to stop discriminating based upon race is
to stop discriminating based upon race. And so I'm hoping
that the Court will give us some clear guidelines on
how states can draw maps moving forward.
Speaker 18 (19:48):
Well, it's really I mean, it's one of those toxic
kind of racial stories that you know. I mean, this
all comes from a time, you know, when the country
had an issue here, and it's continually perpetuated, I believe
by the Democrat Party because they use it to their
advantage politically, a problem that I don't believe any longer exists.
Speaker 4 (20:07):
But I mean, you're right.
Speaker 18 (20:08):
Equal protection says that things shouldn't be decided by racing
this country. This is the exact opposite, and it was
used to fight this illusion of modern day discrimination that
doesn't exist. And as expected, they take it too far
in the other direction because it's politically advantageous for the
Democrat Party, is it not.
Speaker 4 (20:25):
That's exactly right.
Speaker 17 (20:26):
They've used it as a weapon to basically become They've
taken a law that's used to ensure that discrimination doesn't occur.
They've used it as a weapon to be partisan about it.
Speaker 4 (20:38):
That's the whole point.
Speaker 9 (20:39):
When racial and political identifications overlap, is not legitimate to
argue for disparate impact. And as Carl Cannon argues, maybe
it's time to make partisan jerrymandering unconstitutional altogether.
Speaker 16 (20:51):
But the Supreme Court is going to have to tackle
this other issue that it has never wanted any part
of which is is jerryman At what point is jerry
manning for pure partisan reasons run a foul of the
Constitution fourteenth Amendment or other provisions. Because you have a
state Massachusetts, no Republicans in the Congress, that state Maryland,
(21:12):
we've talked about Maryland before, one Republican and a state
that elected a Republican governor twice recently, and you know,
and where Trump gets, you know, forty percent of the vote.
So these across the country and the California thing might
be an interesting test case or maybe or if Illinois
decides to squeeze more Republicans out, you would have to
(21:33):
have plaintiffs from both parties I think from around the country.
It wouldn't be about race, and you'd say it's time
for this that that that argument, that's a separate argument.
It's an older argument. This is a new argument that
you are disenfranchising people if.
Speaker 9 (21:49):
The Supreme Court upholds Louisiana. The Democrats are really going
to freak out when all these minority districts disappear.
Speaker 4 (21:56):
Steve Ballerini, when we return.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
We're just trying to turn a neck to a dime.
That's the bottom line. We're just trying to turn a
nekeel into a dime. That's the bottom line.
Speaker 19 (22:12):
The Democrats are planning another US government shutdown. That would
be the headline. You know, welcome back to this edition
of this week's report you're listening to. That's the bottom
line with Gene Valerani reporting, as I said, the Democrats
plan another shutdown come January, having lost the most recent
(22:32):
fight when they wanted to continue Medicare for those here
illegally and for four House Democrats actually came to the
rescue for everyone so far because they provided enough votes.
There's four votes from the crossover Democrats to allow the
government to reopen. But we know January, we'll be here.
(22:54):
Before you know it, it's going to spin around here.
We're going to be hanging up the Christmas light and
singing Christmas carols. Before you know it, it'll be January
and Democrats plan to pull the blog on government spending
once again. I hope they don't and I can't see
the future. But from the Democrat point of view, illegals
being all added alluded to vote is their goal. They
(23:19):
want them to be able to be able to vote.
That's what's going on. So come January, the Democrats want
them to be able to do that. I'd like you
to go down to another country somewhere and see if
that lets you vote, or over to Europe and see
if they'd let you vote over there as an American.
But that's what they're doing to us. So come January,
(23:39):
we Americans will be faced with another government shut down.
And the goal, of course, is for the Democrats to
tip the scales and let illegals come back in here
and work. And if that ever happens, it would probably
be the end of the Republican Party. The illegals simply
want to slip into the country, get welfare and health
(24:00):
insurance paid for by you with your tax dollars, the
tax dollars of all American workers and unlike immigrants of
the past who came here to the United States legally
and blended in with the native American population. It is ever,
if it ever happens, it's going to be the end
of the United States as we know it. By pushing
(24:22):
citizenship for illegals, we may even lose English as our
language right since Spanish will become the native tone for
many of the people slipping into the country illegally. This
is what the fight is all about, ladies and gentlemen,
not to mention illegals collecting money paid for by American taxpayers.
(24:45):
So this is where we find ourselves this week approaching
Thanksgiving in the United States. As everyone knows, foreigners can
come here legally by applying for citizenship, but this current
battle to protect our our homeland asked to make a
stand and prevent illegality. Failure to do so will require
(25:07):
literally giving our country to a foreign invasion of illegals
coming here to drain the US treasury by using US
tax dollars from American workers. That's what they're up to.
They want your money. They want the money that you
give to the American the American government, which should be
used only for Americans. But they want that money to
(25:29):
pay the tax because they're going to getting that money
and they never earned it. No one ever brings this up,
but we need to stop it before it becomes too late.
People from other countries can come here legally by applyings
for a citizenship. That's just the way it is. Donald
Trump simply wants legal immigration. Just think, just think now, right,
(25:52):
think ahead of if foreigners actually could simply come here
and operate as foreign gangsters instead of the rest of us. Right,
it's not charity that opens the door to these people.
It's throwing the doors wide open for anyone to enter
the country and steal take money from us. We Americans
(26:13):
have always helped foreign people to come here and become Americans,
not come in as an invading country to confiscate our
tax dollars, take them from us and simply take over.
Where we are right now is where it has become
a turning point. If in this foreign invasion that Trump
is finally bring into a close, and we should be thankful.
(26:37):
Fortunately we have Donald Trump at the helm and he's
taken action against foolish practices of the past carried out
by weak politicians. Yet we see Democrat judges working against
the best interests of the American people, and when foreigners
come here illegally, it becomes destructive, destructive for you and
your family, and your loved ones and your neighbors. They
(27:01):
should fight their oppressive governments back home and model them
after the United States, not try to come here and
just you know, skim our money. That's what they're doing.
If they come here as citizens and go to work
and pay taxes, then you know, it's a different story. Anyhow,
this is where we are. The successful countries really were
(27:24):
being invaded by the angry and jealous foreigners who apparently
feel it's okay to siphon off your tax dollars for
their use. It's not all right, though. Soon it will
be Thanksgavin, where most of us will enjoy the fruits
of our bounty, and thanksgiving to Almighty God for bestowing
his blessings on us. Sharing the needs of life for
(27:48):
those less fortunate than the rest of us should be
an individual choice, not using those tax dollars to spread
around to other people who do not. We haven't paid taxes. Fortunately,
fortunately we have a president trying to balance much of
this and provide first for his fellow Americans. So with
(28:12):
this in mind. We need to bowl our heads in
thanks to the Almighty who continues to bless all, as
well as providing a president who does just that. Ladies
and gentlemen, let me tell you as we come to Thanksgiving,
as we approach the holidays, now would be a good time,
(28:33):
really believe it or not to set some money aside,
say for your children and for others, because you know

Speaker 19 (31:13):
Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen you're listening to that's the
bottom line. You're weekly broadcast on KLBI that tells it
like it is. Once again, this is Gene Valerani reporting
and it's signed for a solution. Now wouldn't be right
for us to do a show on investments, so I
(31:36):
want to pass this along to you this morning. I
want to tell you that when making an investment decision,
you have to find what is comfortable for you and
how you want the investment to grow, and to do
so with the least possible risks that asset growth associate.
(31:58):
Because at our company here, we offer the plans that
fit all the many needs for accumulating money over time
without exposing those investment dollars to loss when the stock
market has a downturn. I just can't imagine this. I
(32:18):
just can't imagine this enough. It's called principal protection, That's
what I'm talking about. And when you invest with us,
you never lose money. And when you're ready to take
an income from it. You can take an income, you
can cash a whole thing in, or you could take
it in bits and pieces, and your returns is going
(32:41):
to be either linked to the stock market or a
fixed interest account, whatever you want. Either way, your money
grows over time, and these accounts are great for both
four oh one K rollovers and pension rollovers and other
accounts available to grow over time and accumulate earnings without
having a down turn along the way when the market,
(33:03):
you know, has one of its hiccups. This is why
it's called principal protection. When the stock market has a downturn,
money in one of these plans doesn't lose a dime,
and when the market comes back, it just picks up
where it is left off, and there's no weight to
get going again, because while everybody's playing catch up, you're
(33:27):
already moving aheading. These plans are great for pension and
four oh one K rollovers and for anything people save
money for. Now, we've all been told to save money
for rainy days, and as the years roll by, inflation
and other financial contracts have a hard time keeping up
with the roller coaster ride of market ups and downs,
(33:50):
and that's why we offer these contracts. Remember, these plans
that I'm talking about do not lose money during a
market downturn, and that means there's no way to just
get back to even while everybody else is trying to
just catch up. Here's what I want you to do.
