st because The Black Keys are taking a break from making new music doesn't mean the members are taking time off. It was announced today that The Black Keys' lead vocalist and guitarist Dan Auerbach will now be in two bands. His new project, The Arcs will release their debut album Yours, Dreamily this year on Sept. 4 via Nonesuch Records. Also in the band is Richard Swift, who is not only a member of The Shins, but is also the touring bass player for The Black Keys. The Arcs is also comprised of Homer Steinweiss, Leon Michels, Nick Movshon, Kenny Vaughan, and Mariachi Flor de Toloache. It only took the band two weeks to record their debut album Yours, Dreamily. They recorded it in Queens, N.Y., Los Angeles, and Nashville. Once the album was recorded, it was mixed on a horse farm in Wales by Tchad Blake. The first song released from the album is "Stay In My Corner." In advance of the album, they will release a 7-inch single of that song. Also on that 7-inch will be their songs "Tomato
