Setting It Off with J.P.

I’m Kristin. I like long walks on the beach, Pirates Booty…just kidding….but not about the Pirates Booty. I do genuinely love those! (laughs) I’m Kristin and I’m originally from Chicago and yes I “put on” for my city! I’m the 3rd of 7 children so clearly I’ve got the middle child syndrome. I’ll be the first to admit my personality is…a lot of things. I’m a tomboy but I like lip-gloss. I’m silly but adore thought provoking conversations. I create R.A.D’s (Random Acts of Dancing) but am often found at the library! I’m a slight health nut but desserts are my kryptonite. Now that I sound a little psycho, let’s move forward shall we? I’ve always loved the arts and my parents recognized that early on. They put me in dance classes and vocal training but I loved the fact that I had a normal childhood. I had voice lessons but was still involved with sports as well as church activities. My first professional job was singing in the Lyric Opera of Chicago when I was 12. I said to myself…”Wait a minute! I can get paid to do what I love…and get snacks? SIGN ME UP!!!” (laughs) I went on to do straight plays and musicals, went on my first tour at 18, went back to college where I studied theatre and music. My senior year in college I was blessed to be a part of the national tour of The Lion King so I did that for 2.5 years. Shortly after I moved to the Big Apple for acting and modeling. Life is good. Can’t complain.
